Magic training can wait…
Why? Because Jaune and Willow were busy with the SDC. The changes were now being implemented and they want to see if they are effective.
Especially the new safety gears that Jaune designed. They were great, but there are many different types of Faunus. Hence, he needed to design one that can accommodate as many Faunus features as possible. For the humans? They only needed a single design. They don't have the same needs as Faunus.
Jaune took out the new safety suit designed by him. He wanted Willow's input on it.
"For an overall design? It is amazing," said Willow. She gave the safety suit a fair judgment. "And all the protective abilities set on it are beyond what may be necessary, but I know you like to make sure that everything is covered. I would say that these overalls could also be sold to other companies that work in extreme environments".
"Right you are, Willow," said Jaune. He smiled at her. "I was already planning to make it one of the first products of Arc Industries. It is also a way to showcase that we mean business when I told the world about my plan to make sure the workers that work in the mines are safe. This way, other companies would also be pushed to make drastic changes. Otherwise, all, if not, most of their workers would jump ship to ours. To combat that, companies would need better pay, better working conditions, better insurance, and better everything".
"Those poor, poor, hopeless companies are going to struggle in the coming days. Serves them right. My dad warned them of their horrid practice in the past. Now, they reap what they sow. it would have been the same for the S.D.C if not for you picking up the slacks," said Willow. She can already see it. If…No! When Jaune shows the world the seriousness of his words by showcasing his new safety suit, many would Faunus and Humans will apply to their company. "I've been meaning to ask this, but what are you going to do with the many applicants that would be arriving when all of this is done? Because there is no doubt many would apply to the SDC".
"I already had plans for that," said Jaune. He plans to open another subsidiary company. "I plan to open another subsidiary. This time, rather than technology, I will be opening a store for fresh produce, poultry, and meat".
Willow raised an eyebrow at Jaune. But she did remember that Jaune had the Dimensional Farm. The place is a field with so many amazing crops and livestock that taste heavenly! Nothing can compare to them.
"Are you planning to shut down many companies?" asked Willow. "Because you opening a store will do that. I don't think there is any market that can match the taste of your Dimensional Farm Products".
"Dimensional Farm Store," said Jaune. He liked the sound of that. "That's going to be the new name of the company".
Willow sighed at Jaune. Is her boyfriend going to take over the world? Because once he gets hold of all the markets, the world is as good as his. None would be able to oppose him, lest they wish to be banned from receiving his products.
"You know, if I didn't know you personally, I would have thought you wanted to take over the world," said Willow. She giggled. If there was someone that can achieve that absurd notion without going to war, it would be Jaune. "By the way, Jaune. We need to head to Menagerie to look over the construction of the Headquarters for Arc Industries".
Jaune nodded at Willow.
"I know, it's our next stop when we're gone here," said Jaune. There was a lot of work to be done when one runs a company, especially one as large as the SDC. But Jaune was enjoying doing the work with Willow. "You know, this work would be a lot more jarring if it was not for you".
Jaune hugged and kissed Willow on the lips.
"I know what you mean," said Willow. She worked with her father when he was the head of the SDC. She enjoyed every moment of it, just as she does with Jaune. She then remembered something. "Oh! I forgot! Before we head to Menagerie after this, General Ironwood has an appointment with us…Since we are changing our policies about who we sell our Dust to, we have to make new contracts. General Ironwood would like to discuss it with you…I should warn you Jaune, Ironwood is not your biggest fan at the moment".
Jaune was confused at Willow's words. With him selling only to the Military and Huntsman and Huntresses, Jaune thought Ironwood would be ecstatic since they would have an abundant supply, but that doesn't seem the case with Willow's words.
"It has nothing to do with the Dust," said Willow. She saw Jaune's confusion. "It has to do with Winter. She decided to leave the Military. Something that Ironwood had to approve lest we don't sell to him".
Jaune's eyes twitched.
"Hold on a minute!" shouted Jaune. He was being antagonized because Winter wanted to leave the military? What did that have to do with him? "What does that have to do with me? It is Winter's decision, not mine. I'm not saying he should be angry at Winter, but he should not be directing it to someone else".
"Ironwood believes she left due to you," said Willow. She knew the truth of why Winter left, but Ironwood didn't. "After Winter heard of how Ironwood was, she left and didn't want anything to do with the General. I can't blame Winter for leaving when the man she is working for is unhinged".
"I still don't see why Ironwood would think it was my fault," said Jaune. How would Ironwood even connect the dot to end up being angry at him? "That man has a loose screw".
"True, he does," said Willow. She sighed. "The reason is simple. You were the only new addition to Winter's life. And you were getting quite close to her. I think he may have believed that you convinced her to leave. I know, it's moronic, but he does have a few loose screws in the head".
Jaune sighed. He could see that happening.

Patch, Rose/Xiao Long household…
Ruby and Yang can be seen playing a game, with Ruby losing, as is usual.
Not far from the sisters are Weiss and Blake.
Weiss was watching the game match between Yang and Ruby. She may not have a thing for playing video games, but she could indulge her friends. Plus, it looks quite fun.
As for Blake, she was thinking about all the scenes she remembered from Jaune, Scáthach, and Willow. She plans to use it as inspiration for making her novel. It was quite exciting.
"Come on, sis," said Yang. She smirked at her sister. "I know you can do better than that. One more match and that would be a thousand matches I won against you, and you have zero wins".
"How are you so good at this?!" Said Ruby. She didn't know how Yang was beating her all the time! Not once has she gotten a single win. She then thought. "One more, just one more. I'm sure that I can beat her at this! There is no way that I would lose a thousand matches in a row!".
A few minutes later, Ruby can be heard whining about losing a thousand times in a row. It was not fair! According to Ruby.
"Now, I'm bored!" said Yang. She was looking forward to today since it was when they would start learning to wield magic, but it was not meant to be. "Ugh! I wanted to learn magic! Stupid work had to get in the way!".
"Hey! That work happens to be important to Jaune and my family," said Weiss. She hmphed at Yang. "I was as excited as you, but you have to understand that Jaune has responsibilities he needed to take care of. You know him and his desire to help people. The company would allow him to give jobs to thousands of people, which would be helping them".
"I know, it just sucks!" said Yang. She leaned back and laid on her back. "I wanted to know what it's like to shoot fireballs, or hurl lightning or something".
Blake looked at her partner.
"You're not the only one, Yang," said Blake. She remembered when Jaune announced they were going to start learning magic. Nora was the most excited, and she was the most devastated when it didn't happen today. "Nora was crushed. She was the one most looking forward to it. Yet, she was the most understanding of the situation. She knew the importance of the S.D.C prospering. It would mean better living conditions for many".
"I know. I know," said Yang. She sighed. "I get it, I'm being selfish for wanting to take Jaune's time away from helping the company and making more jobs for the people".
"That's not what I was implying, Yang," said Blake. "Can you please not twist my words?".
Yang apologized to Blake, but she was still feeling down.

Vale, Arc Household…
Pyrrha and Ren were helping Nora cope with not being able to learn magic today.
It was a lot easier than they thought. All Ren had to do was make a mountain of pancakes for Nora and that was that. Plus, with the special syrup that Jaune makes for Nora, she was in heaven at the moment.
Pyrrha looked at a happy Nora.
"I thought this would be more difficult," said Pyrrha. She looked at a smiling Nora. "This is easy".
"That's because I was here to make her the pancakes she loves and Jaune left her favorite syrup," said Ren. That combination was a big reason for Nora being easy to handle. "If I was not here and there was no special syrup, this would have been more difficult".
"How much more difficult?" asked Pyrrha. She's never seen Jaune and Ren struggle with Nora. "It could not be that much more difficult, right?".
"You have no idea how difficult Nora can be," said Ren. He shivered at Nora that has gone overboard with her tantrum. "I was surprised at how easily Jaune was able to handle Nora when we first became a team. I was sure Jaune would have been stressed out with her. I was even prepared to take the brunt for Nora, but that did not happen. To this day, I feel lucky that Jaune was the teammate and leader that Nora and I got".
Pyrrha couldn't agree more. Jaune was a unique person. She wouldn't exchange her time with him for anything in the world…worlds.
