Hey guys,

It's been a while. Forgive me, I am a bit out of practice.

I hope you enjoy the chapter, nonetheless.

As for the chapter release? I might be able to do one a week.

Things have been hectic.

They get in the way.

Anyways, enjoy!

Sitting down on a sofa…

Jaune was looking at multiple people.

One of the people in the room put tea on the table for Jaune to drink.

Jaune nodded his head in appreciation.

Taking a sip of the tea, he found it delicious.

"This is delicious," said Jaune. He took a sip of the tea once more.

The woman that made the tea bowed in appreciation.

The leader, the woman sitting behind the massive desk in the room surrounded by female students, except for one. She is staring at Jaune with an observational eye.

Due to the situation, she was highly alert.

An unknown person in their current situation was not a good thing.

However, she didn't know why, but she felt comfortable with him around.

As if, as long as he was around, she would be safe.

But no, that could not be possible. She didn't know who the man before her was. For all she knew, he could be working with the enemy.

No matter how she felt about the man before her, she needed to think about things logically.

Even if her very being is telling her to trust the man before her.

Jaune was waiting for the woman behind the desk to speak.

However, he could only wait for so long. He has a mission.

A personal mission to learn more about the world he was in.

"So…? Can I go now?" asked Jaune. He could leave at any moment, but he was being polite. He is an alien in this world. He was the one that trespassed in the building, even if it was by accident and he had no control over it.

The woman simply continued to stare at Jaune.

The funny thing is, while the woman staring at Jaune was not reacting, the others in the room were.

None of them knew Jaune. It was better to be safe than sorry.

Every single one of them is ready for an attack if Jaune chooses to do so.

Unfortunately, no matter how prepared they are, in front of a monster like Jaune, it was impossible to do anything if he wanted to bring harm to them.

They should be glad that Jaune was not a man that would harm the innocent.

Otherwise, they would have died and didn't know how.

"Hmm…" hummed the girl. She continued to analyze Jaune, not because he was an intruder, but because she was curious about why she felt the way she did the moment he arrived.

Looking at the girl before him, Jaune spoke words without thinking.

"You are quite cute doing that," said Jaune. He did not mean to say that loudly, only in his heart.

The girl blushed.

The only guy in the group looked at Jaune menacingly.

"Ahem!" the girl cleared her throat.

"Let's get down to business. Are you affiliated with the church?" asked the girl. She spoke to the two representatives of the church. The man before her was not with them. This is why she is cautious. They are having difficulties in the past few days.

"First of all, why don't we introduce ourselves first? My name is Jaune Arc. And no, I am not with the church people. I don't even know what that is," said Jaune. There are no churches in Vale or Mistral. He did not know what that is.

"Right, my apologies. My name is Sona Sitri," said Sona. She was confused.

"How do you not know what a church is?" asked Sona. The church is everywhere around the world.

"I've never heard of it before," said Jaune. He shrugged at Sona's question.

Sona sighed. The man before her was quite relaxed about his situation. As if he was not seeing them as a threat. Is she that unthreatening that with her entire Peerage, she was not being taken seriously?

"If you are not with the church, why are you here? Don't tell me something absurd like you are only here to sightsee," said Sona. She saw that Jaune was about to say something. With her instinct, she said the words that she said.

"I know it's absurd, but the truth nonetheless," said Jaune. He can tell no one would believe him. But there is nothing he could do since it is the truth.

Sona stared at Jaune. She was a good judge of character. She saw no falsehood in the man's words. Which is weird. Why sightsee in Devil's territory? Kuoh no less?

"Do you have any proof that you are just sightseeing?" asked Sona. If there is something she can use as proof that he is not here to harm them, it would be easier to accept his words.

Jaune didn't know what proof he could show, but…

He released some of his power.

Sona and everyone in the room quivered.

The amount of power they felt was immense.

Before Jaune released some of his power, he made sure to seal the room so that his power do not leak.

No one other than the people in the room felt Jaune's power.

They felt a sense of fear knowing the person in front of them can kill all of them in a single second.

"As you can tell, I have the power to cause chaos. Yet, I chose to be civil and speak to you. If I had any desire to cause you harm, none of you could have stopped me," said Jaune. He looked at the expression of everyone in the room.

Jaune saw they all had a tense look and fear in their eyes, but hearing his words, they relaxed a bit. Not too much, but enough to release the tension in the room.

Sona looked at Jaune and fixed her glasses that slipped down her nose before speaking.

"Fear point… I mean, fair point," said Sona. She was still shaking off the fear she felt from the surge of power.

"So, can I go now? I do want to see this world," said Jaune. This was a new world, far more different from the other world that he has seen. Only matching the Marvel world, but that world he did not explore.

"I do want to agree to letting you go, but I would need to keep an eye on you for a little while," said Sona. She was shocked at what she said. She wanted to let Jaune leave, but she wanted to stay close to him. Thus, her words.

"Hold on, Kaichou!" said Tsubaki. She was worried. Her King was planning to stick someone to Jaune, a person they witnessed was immensely powerful.

"Worry not, Tsubaki. I'll be watching him close, personally. For the next week, or when he leaves, I'll be keeping a close eye on him," said Sona. Her face was monotone.

"That's what I was worried about!" thought Tsubaki. She also saw Sona blush for the first time. This was new territory for her. Sona has never shown interest in the opposite sex before.

Jaune raised his eyebrow at Sona's words.

"Hah? This is interesting. I have this feeling that she is sort of interested in me…Nah! That can't be right. I've only met her," thought Jaune. He can see it, but not very clearly. He is dense. Even if it was slowly changing with each experience.

"Anyway, you said you were here to sightsee. How about a tour of the school?" asked Sona. Her heart was beating in anticipation. She didn't know why. She has never felt this way before.

Jaune looked at Sona and raised an eyebrow. The feeling he felt about Sona being interested in him increased.

"That would be appreciated. I've never seen this kind of place before," said Jaune. He felt many people in the building. It was like Beacon, yet different. There is no one training.

Sona looked at Jaune. She was confused.

"You've never been to a school before?" asked Sona. The man before her couldn't have been from the mountain, right? Who has never heard of a school before?

"Oh, I have heard of schools before, but not one this big without a training center," said Jaune. Most schools in Remnant were small. The big ones are the four Huntsman Academies and none else.

Sona felt that Jaune was getting more interesting. Training center? Is it one of those dojos? The ones where they are only taught how to fight.

Thinking about Jaune's words, she felt that something is wrong. It seemed as if Jaune is saying that he was not from this world. He kept saying this world. Who says that? Even the people from the Supernatural world do not say such words.

But it can't be, right?

Sona chuckled at the thought before voicing her thoughts.

"You make it sound like you aren't from this world," said Sona. She has a beautiful smile as she laughed.

"Because I am not," said Jaune. He didn't know what was funny about that.

The entire room became quiet.

The chuckling of Sona was gone and replaced with shock.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that? I thought you said that you aren't from this world," said Sona. She knew that she did not hear wrong, but it was better to let Jaune say it to clarify what he said.

"I said I'm not from this world," replied Jaune.

"What?!" shouted everyone.

No one in the room could tell if Jaune was lying or not. But would he have a reason to lie about such a thing?
