The following afternoon…
Jaune and Sona walked around Kuoh town.
It was almost as if the two were on a date.
This was the thought of a certain individual.
Serafall was watching as the duo walked and spoke around Kuoh Town.
"I knew! See! Fia! I told you something was wrong!" said Serafall in a low voice.
"You don't know that. Who knows? Maybe your sister is only showing the guy around Kuoh Town. It sure seems like it. The places they are going to are not necessarily dating sites. Sure, they're at the park having a nice walk and they watched movies earlier, had lunch together, went shopping…" said Grayfia. The more she listed out the things the two did, the more she thought it was not a normal outing. Yeah, this is a date. But she wasn't going to say that to her paranoid friend that can wipe out Japan seven times over if she so much as glitters.
Jaune and Sona were sharing a crepe they bought from a food stall.
Sona tucked her ear behind her ear as she took a bite of the crepe she is sharing with Jaune.
"Gah! Look!" said Serafall. She was jealous of Jaune. She should have been the one in the man's place. She wanted to share crepe with Sona.
Grayfia sighed.
"I'm pretty sure she wouldn't do that with you," said Grayfia. Sona was no longer a child, even if at Devil's age she is still a child.
Serafall wanted to approach Jaune and Sona, but she was held back by Grayfia.
"Let me go, Grayfia. I need to stop whatever this is before it is too late!" said Serafall. She struggled to get out of Grayfia's grip.
In terms of strength, Grayfia and Serafall are equal.
If Grayfia was eligible for the Satan rank, she would have been in the seat instead of Serafall.
"Let them be, Sera," said Grayfia. She saw Jaune and Sona having fun. If she was in her shoes, she wouldn't want her time with the person she was with to be interrupted.
"Gah! I can't! This is torture!" said Serafall. She was not having it. She was so close to using her magic and freezing Jaune.
Which she did.
"No!" shouted Grayfia. She couldn't believe that Serafall's jealousy was enough for her to attack someone without proper reason.
Serafall herself was shocked. She was not planning to attack. She lost control momentarily and it was enough to fire off a powerful ice beam.
On the other hand, Jaune felt magic being fire. He brought out his hand and blocked it.
With a squeeze of his hand, the magic shattered.
This was Jaune using [Sever Origin Connection].
The moment Jaune blocked it, he used the magic to cut it off from its source, causing the magic to stop.
Sona was shocked. She knew only one person with a demonic power that uses such powerful ice magic. Her sister, Serafall Leviathan.
"Nee-san!" shouted Sona. Not far away, she saw her sister and…Grayfia?
Serafall was busted. She looked at her sister with an embarrassed look.
Nonetheless, she approached her sister, took her away from Jaune, and hug her.
"So-tan! I missed you so much!" said Serafall. She was hoping Sona would be embarrassed enough to forget her mishap.
"Nee-san, what are you doing here? And were you spying on me?" asked Sona. She was angry. She was having the time of her life and it was ruined by her sister.
Looking at Jaune, Sona sighed. She could always invite him again for a date…I mean, to ask him out to tour Kuoh. Yeah! Totally not a date. Totally!
"I may have felt that something was wrong…So…I thought about visiting you," said Serafall. She did so in a cutesy way.
Grayfia, not far away, was astonished. Serafall might have not realized it, but she did. The guy was able to stop Serafall's magic with a single hand. With absolute ease. This got her worried. Maybe this is the real reason why Serafall was being paranoid. There was a man with enough power to combat a Satan!
While Serafall was pestering Sona, Grayfia decided to approach Jaune. She was worried that something fishy was going on. She needed to make sure nothing bad happens to one of the clan heiresses of the Underworld.
Grayfia stood in front of Sona to protect her.
"What is your reason for approaching Sona Sitri?" asked Grayfia. She was calm.
"Hm? Nothing," said Jaune. He sighed. This was going to be such a drag.
"Look, I have no interest in doing what you think I am up to, okay? I'm not some heinous criminal trying something untoward Sona," said Jaune. He knew that saying this much was not going to do anything. However, he still wanted to try the peaceful route before anything else.
Grayfia did not believe anything Jaune said. Why would she? The man is an unknown in Devil territory. She was being cautious.
"Grayfia-san stop! He isn't a threat…I hope he isn't," said Sona. Feeling Jaune's power and seeing him easily cancel her sister's magic was astonishing and scary. It shows that even her sister would not be able to stop Jaune. The feeling of Jaune holding back is still there.
Grayfia wanted to say something, but Sona continued.
"If he wanted to do something horrible, he would have already done it. I wouldn't have been able to resist. He…he is more powerful than one can imagine," said Sona. She sighed. She believed everything she said.
Serafall and Grayfia looked at Sona. They thought, 'How powerful could he be?'. However, thinking about it, the man before them was able to block an attack from Serafall with ease, that was an incredible feat.
Serafall looked at Jaune and asked a question.
"What are you after here in Kuoh Town? What are you after?" asked Serafall. Her childish personality was nowhere to be seen. What is before Jaune now is a Satan.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing. When I arrived in this world, it was only a coincidence that I ended up in Sona's office…Look, I'm not interested in anything but exploring this world. Sona asked if she could give me a tour of Kuoh, and I accepted. Otherwise, I would have explored this town on my own," said Jaune.
When he said that Sona was the one that asked him about touring Kuoh, Grayfia, and Serafall looked at her. All they saw was a blushing mess.
"So-tan is that true? Are you the one to offer him a tour of Kuoh?" asked Serafall.
"Yes, it is true. Look, I just wanted to get to know him better. I thought if I did, I would be able to figure out if he was a threat or not," said Sona. She then looked away from everyone and thought. "Definitely not because I just wanted to spend time with him. This is so confusing. I've never felt this way toward anyone before".
Serafall, Grayfia, and Jaune looked at Sona.
"So-tan…You do know you said that out loud, right," said Serafall. She sounded dejected. Her sister was finally interested in someone. To others, this would have been a good thing, but to her, it was a nightmare.
Hearing what her sister said, Sona, blushed hard and dropped to the ground. She covered her face in embarrassment. She couldn't believe she said that out loud!
…
Orario…
Inside a forge, there was a lonely Goddess. She was waiting for her prince to come and accompany her. However, she knew that her prince would not come anytime soon.
Nevertheless, she was a patient Goddess. She has waited for a very long time to meet him, and she has.
To wait for him to return to her for a while isn't much time. She would willingly wait for him for all of eternity as there is no one that would ever be able to replace him in her heart.
Her heart forever belongs to him.
The Goddess sighed due to exhaustion.
"This is exhausting," said Hephaestus. She wiped the sweat off her head.
"Jaune can make a powerful magic weapon with the materials from the dungeon. He was not using Divinity to make it. Goes to show that Jaune's talent for forging is not something to be trifled with," said Hephaestus. She chuckled.
"I thought the Crozzo Blood was impressive to make magic weapons, but Jaune can do so whenever he desires. And each weapon is a masterpiece that I can't make without either my Divinity or materials from Heaven. Some Goddess of the forge I am…," said Hephaestus. She sighed.
Ever since Jaune left, she has been practicing her forging skills. She wanted to be able to reach Jaune's level without the usage of her Divinity.
…
Remnant…
Ruby was not the girly girl type.
That's why she now believes that she is in hell!
When the Arc sisters found out that Penny was special. She has never done girls' stuff, so they decided to help her out.
At that time, Ruby happened to be around.
This was a big mistake.
Although Ruby declined the offer of the sisters, she was not safe. She was pulled into their shenanigans.
Looking at the Arc sisters, Ruby shivered as they had a frilly dress and heels in their hands.
"N-No! Please! Anything but heels!" shouted Ruby. She hated heels. She prefers either boots or flats. Heels are the devil of footwear!
"Come on, Ruby. The heels are not that bad. I mean, didn't you say that your teammate uses heels during combat? If that's the case, you see it isn't all that bad," said Jayden. She had a smirk on her. She may have a bit of a sadistic tendency. Just a little bit.
"Jayden, we can't force her if she doesn't want to wear heels. I mean, Jeanne only spent a few months making it. It's fine if the perfect model for it doesn't want to try it on," said Saphron. She was guilt-tripping Ruby.
Terra rolled her eyes. Her wife guilt trips people to get what she wants. She remembers the few times that she was the victim of it.
Ruby was contemplating. She hated heels, but she didn't want to disappoint them.
So, Ruby reluctantly accepted to wear the heels and dress.
Throughout the entire thing, Penny watched it and clapped her hands thinking it was some sort of improve show.
