Back on Earth

Jaune and his companions have spent considerable time in the Underworld. However, Sona had to return to Earth to fulfill her duty at Kuoh. Even though Serafall is happy to be with her sister, she is occupied with work related to an upcoming meeting on Earth, leaving Jaune by himself.

Jaune seemed bored, so when Sona suggested exploring Kuoh and its sights, he declined because he wanted to do it with her and the rest of the group. As a result, he took out his boredom on Sona's peerage, claiming that they were ill-prepared for the challenges they would face in this world. He had obtained information about these challenges from Alice and believed that they would undoubtedly face dire consequences if they didn't improve.

Grayfia was occupied handling the consequences of Sirzechs' disclosure about his actual spouse. As a result, she informed Jaune and the rest of the group that they would rendezvous on Earth in the near future. She did not wish to burden Jaune with incessant interrogation.

Jaune, who had previously been feeling quite bored, found himself less bored thanks to training Sona's Peerage. However, during his time spent with them, he couldn't help but notice that Rias Gremory, Sona's friend, had a significantly more powerful Peerage. It soon became apparent that this was because not all members of Sona's Peerage possessed a Sacred Gear, which granted immense power and abilities. To rectify this, Jaune took it upon himself to forge unique weapons for each member of the Peerage that had no Sacred Gear, something that they could wield and call their own.

Making weapons? Definitely, something Jaune is always interested in doing. Especially when he gets creative, he derives great pleasure from crafting weapons. He has an impressive repertoire of designs for the members of Sona's Peerage, each more impressive than the last. One of his most notable creations is a sword that can transform into a whip and has the power to manipulate flames. Additionally, he has also crafted a spear that doubles as a shield and can conjure up a sturdy fortress at a moment's notice. Among his more intricate designs is a wooden wheel with distinct spokes, each with unique abilities, such as generating a protective barrier or unleashing a flurry of rapid-fire magic bullets.

Things were progressing smoothly in the beginning, and Jaune had been successfully training Sona's Peerage. However, Jaune decided to test their ability to continue training after a week without his supervision. He had implemented this practice with his friends back home, believing it was an effective way to identify those genuinely dedicated to improving themselves. The goal was to leave them alone and see who would continue to work hard and follow his instructions even when he was absent. Unfortunately, not everyone was up to the challenge. Saji, in particular, struggled with remaining focused and dedicated to his training. His distraction became more pronounced after he learned about Jaune and Sona's relationship; he spent his days staring into space and seemed to have lost his passion for training.

Days have passed since then.

Kuoh Academy – ORC Room

Rias was thinking of what happened with Issei and Azazel.

"What should we do, however? It's hard to make a move without knowing what he's planning," said Rias. "It is advisable not to make rash moves without knowing his plans. Such a hasty approach is bound to lead to failure. Even if we were to confront Azazel, the outcome would be unfavorable, given our inability to defeat Kokabiel."

"Azazel's always been that kind of guy," said a male with the same hair color as Rias.

"Onii-sama!" shouted Rias Gremory. She was shocked when her brother and his maid entered her club room without notice. He was not supposed to be on Earth in the first place.

"Although Azazel is fond of toying with people, as you now know, he won't try anything like what Kokabiel did," said Sirzechs. He then continued. "But he has arrived in Japan sooner than expected."

Suddenly, the entire Peerage of Rias kneeled before Sirzechs, knowing he was one of the Satans.

"No need for that. I'm here on private business," said Sirzechs. He gestured for them to stand up.

"Why are you here, Onii-sama?" asked Rias. She knew he was busy primarily working as a Satan in the Underworld. He doesn't have too much time for himself.

"Isn't it obvious?" said Sirzechs. He took out a piece of parchment in his suit pocket, showing it to Rias. "Almost time for parents' day at school. I was thinking of attending. Should e fun to see my sister studying hard in person."

Looking at the letter in hand, Rias was troubled.

"Oh, yeah! Dad was excited about how he got to take paid leave for that. To see Asia, though, not me," said Issei. He was bummed that his parents were more excited about Asia. Then again, he knew it was because of his behavior.

Turning her head, Rias looked at Grayfia.

"D-Did you tell Onii-sama about this, Grayfia?" asked Rias. She couldn't think of any other reason why her brother would have the invitation of the parents' day.

Looking at Rias with a blank look, she answered bluntly.

"Yes," said Grayfia. She didn't care about how Rias was troubled with her brother attending the parents' day. "The notice from the academy came to me because I was tasked with the scheduling for the House of Gremory. Naturally, as Sirzechs-sama's "Queen," I was also obligated to inform him. However, you no longer have to worry about such things from me in the future as I am now Sirzechs' former Queen and Headmaid of the House of Gremory."

"Eh?" said Rias. She had no words to the words of Grayfia. "W-What?! Why? What happened?!"

"I believe you all have heard of Jaune being in a relationship with Sona Sitri on the night he went to the Underworld after the defeat of Kokabiel," said Grayfia. Everyone nodded at her. "What you didn't know, and what we are yet to tell anyone, is that it was not only Sona that Jaune slept with that night, along with Serafall; I was included."

Rias had her mouth wide open. She didn't know what to say. This is…what about her brother? Did Grayfia cheat on her poor brother? Angry was starting to show on her face. She was about to speak, but her precious pawn decided to open his mouth.

"Kah! I'm jealous!" shouted Issei. He wanted that to happen to him as well. "Why are the Bishounen always the lucky ones?"

Rias' eye twitched. She couldn't get angry at her precious pawn since he did not know that Grayfia was Sirzechs' wife. What did she do? She hit him hard enough to knock him out for a while.

"I know what you want to say, Rias, but I will explain everything later," said Sirzechs. He can tell that Rias is getting angry at Grayfia. It was best to explain things to her. "For now, I wanted to tell you something important. My arrival here is not only to attend your parents' day. I will give the grounds a preliminary look because your academy will host the three-way conference between Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels."

"Our academy!" shouted everyone. That was quite a shock.

"You're holding the conference here?!" asked Rias. Why her school? Why couldn't it be somewhere more appropriate than a school?

"Yeah, this place just feels like the right place," said Sirzechs. He crossed his arms and continued. "Among its students are you, the legendary Red Dragon Emperor, the Holy Sword User, the wielder of Durandal, and the younger sister of Leviathan. Not to mention, Kokabiel and the White Dragon Emperor showed up and fought here."

"That's not correct, Sirzechs-sama," said Grayfia. She was there that day. "From what I remember, the White Dragon Emperor tried to break the barrier that Jaune trapped him in, but to no avail, as his ability to divide was not affecting it. Then, Jaune killed Kokabiel with the descent of a powerful spell in the form of a Lightning Dragon, which the White Dragon Emperor, again, could not divide with his abilities."

"Ah! Yes, that's right," said Sirzechs. He nodded his head in understanding. "That's another reason why we will be holding a meeting here. That man, Jaune, the three factions, wants to meet him. And he seems only to be hanging around Kuoh.

In a lake in Kuoh, Jaune brought out a boat. He suddenly sneezed.

"Huh? Is someone talking about me?" asked Jaune to no one. He shrugged his shoulder and continued fishing. As he was about to board the boat, he noticed a little girl staring at him. "Hello, little one. Is there something you need? Where are your parents? And what is your name?"

The little girl looked at Jaune, observing him.

"I don't have any," said the little girl. "My name is Ophis."

Jaune pulled the girl to him, hugged her, and patted her head. He felt sorry for the girl as she reminded him of his son, Adrian.

"If you don't have any parents, where do you live right now?" asked Jaune. He was worried that the little girl was abused. Who wouldn't? The little girl was wearing clothing, where the front reveals the little girl's chest, which is only covered with what seemed to be a band-aid.

The little girl did not answer.
