Another round of lovemaking. Wrapped in each other's arms of a warm afterglow, the pair looked at each other and smiled as they shared a sweet kiss and embraced.
"How long has it been since, you know?" Derek asked Stiles as the duo wrapped themselves up in the sheets.
"A long time," Stiles said, gazing at him in adornment. "Not since my Derek and I decided to end things did I make an effort to try to be close with someone." He turned away and faced the ceiling. "I'll admit it was a random hookup here and there but nothing meaningful. I guess I was still stuck on what could've been."
Strong fingers stroked his face. "Speaking for myself, I'm sure he was afraid of getting close. I know I was. My Stiles broke down those walls I put up and fought through this tough exterior to try to love me. I finally caved and I have to say it was worth it." Derek explained. "I'm sure your Derek felt the same way. He just didn't know how to deal with his emotions."
"Yeah," Stiles whispered. "We're both too stubborn like that. Plus, when Eli was born I wanted him to be the best father he could be to him so I stayed away to allow him. I guess I should've made an effort to be a part of it."
Derek pulled him close. "You did it for the right reasons. Like my Stiles, you have a big heart so you can't beat yourself over the difficult choices you had to make. I look at older Eli and see how great of a man he's becoming, even though a bit rebellious." The Alpha snickered. "I want Eli Junior to be the same."
Stiles laughed. "Are you sure about that? From what I hear, older Eli is too much like me. Sneaking out, getting into trouble. Having a problem with authority figures. I'm not sure you'd want my ADHD corrupting your perfect gene pool!"
Derek grinned. "I wouldn't have it any other way." He bent down to kiss him again before withdrawing. "Any regrets about what we just did?"
"You mean getting sand in your bed?" joked Stiles. "Yeah, the sheets are going to be a bitch to clean!"
Derek again laughed at his comment. "No. I'm talking about us sleeping together."
Stiles shook his head and sighed. "I needed this. We both needed this. Look, Derek. If you're worried about me catching feelings, don't. We were both lonely and it's only natural we'd be attracted to each other since, technically, we're the same people, but let's be real here. Once this mission is complete, I have to go back to my world and you have to move on with your life with Eli Junior. This would never work out. We're too different. Strangers."
Derek sighed. "You're right. I guess I just needed one more moment with my Stiles and you helped me with that. Thanks."
"You're welcome," smiled Stiles. He got up from the bed to find his clothes and quickly dressed himself. "For what it's worth, thank you for giving me closure. I know I can never get that with my Derek but at least I know I'm able to move on now."
The Alpha dressed himself and slowly approached the FBI agent. His hand stroked his face. "But have you truly closed that chapter in your life?"
Before Stiles could answer, a cry came from the baby monitor in Derek's bedroom. "Looks like Junior's up. I'll go feed him." He left the room to attend to his son in the nursery as Stiles padded barefoot into the kitchen. A pair of yellow eyes greeted him as he almost jumped out of his skin. Quickly, he turned on the light to see teenage Eli munching on a plate of baked cookies Derek had made that day.
"Jesus, Eli!" Stiles scowled. "You fucking scared me!"
"Sorry," Eli mumbled with a mouthful of snickerdoodles. "I was hungry."
"What are you doing up?" The FBI agent asked the teen. "It's early in morning."
"Can't sleep," responded the teenager, swallowing the cookies in his mouth. "The mattresses here are uncomfortable. For a rich dude, Derek sure invests in lumpy beds."
Stiles had to laugh at the comment because it was true. He took a seat at the table. "How are you holding up? I'm sure seeing Derek must be hard."
Eli frowned. "I know he isn't my dad but there are things that he does that are exactly what my father would do. The way he glares at him when he gets angry. That certain tone in his voice when he's yelling at me for being an idiot. The way that he gestures how proud he is of me when he plays with Eli Junior. Yeah, he may not be my dad in this universe but he is exactly the same in any world."
Placing at hand on Eli's shoulder, Stiles offered him comfort. "I know what you mean. This Derek is very similar to your late father but we have to remember that it isn't him. It's difficult but we have to accept that."
"Like the fact that you two boinked," muttered the teenager.
Stiles's eyes widened. "How did you know about that?"
Eli smirked. "Wolf ears. You're not exactly subtle." He rolled his eyes. "Oh Derek. Oh Derek. Oh Derek…"
"Hey!" Stiles protested. "I do not sound like that!" He always believed his lovemaking sounds were a bit more quiet.
"Don't sweat it," Eli giggled. "I'm not a kid. I know what sex is and I was betting when you two would eventually hook up."
Stiles frowned. "That's private. What Derek and I do as adults is none of your business!"
Eli rolled his eyes again. "Chill. I don't care what you guys do. Besides, I'd want my father to be happy even if he were alive." He popped another cookie in his mouth. "By the way, did you know Dad kept his browser history saved on his computer?"
Stiles froze. "Um, I don't think I need to know about your late father's hobbies…"
"He subscribed to this gay porn site," the teenager continued. "It was called CodeyShawn and there was a guy there named Dylan who looked exactly like you to the point that Dad paid for his FansSolo as a member?"
Stiles covered his mouth. He did not know if should feel flattered or appalled that the late Derek Hale was trolling X-rated sites looking for models that resembled him.
"What are you guys talking about?"
Derek entered the kitchen with a yawning Eli Junior in his arms making funny gibberish sounds.
"Porn," said Eli bluntly.
"No we are not!" Stiles protested as he stood up.
"Ooookay," Derek cocked his head. "This is a bizarre conversation." Eli Junior babbled again.
"Hey Derek!" Eli smirked. "What are your porn site favorites?"
"Eli!" Stiles snapped at him. "That's disgusting!" He turned to the Alpha. "Don't answer that!"
"Pornohaven." Derek replied directly. "The clips are free."
'No kidding?" Eli asked curiously.
"Oh jeez." Stiles put his head into hands. "You two are like peas in a pod!"
"We are father and son," Derek grinned. Immediately, his face began to change. He signaled to the older Eli. "Take Junior and head out the front door." His eyes glowed red. Stiles knew something was off.
"Derek, what is it?" The FBI agent asked the Alpha.
Eli did not question his father's twin, picked up Eli Junior, and quickly headed through the front entrance of the cottage. Then Derek turned to Stiles.
"Get away from the back window!"
Stiles raced toward the Alpha but not before looking back. A barbed tail, almost like a serpent, started to slink down the glass before something huge with long sharp claws scratched the transparent door. Then out of the blue came a crash.
Shards of glass, splinters of wood, concrete and dust flew everywhere. Stiles and Derek backed away into the living room as something enormous roared as it made its way through the newly broken entrance. It was gray in appearance, scaled and carried a deformed appearance of muscle and tissue as a series of spikes protruded from its body while its skull head sported sharp teeth. Estimated to be eight feet tall, it hunched over as its skull head hit the ceiling and scraped the plaster off the top.
"Stiles! Run outside now!" Derek growled in wolf form. He bared his teeth and claws to challenge the creature.
"Like hell!" Stiles refused to budge. Without access to his gun, he picked up a small plank of wood from the demolished backdoor and prepared to fight the thing.
"Don't argue with me!" Derek told the FBI agent. "This is an Abomination! They're not easy to kill. You won't be able to fight it!"
"I'm not leaving you!" Stiles challenged the Alpha.
"Fine!" Derek gritted. "Just keep your distance! I'll distract it so we can escape!"
The Abomination screeched as the Alpha Wolf roared. It rushed at the werewolf and tried to swipe at it with a sharp claw. Derek dodged the attack and slashed a successful hit to the monster's arm. However, the Alpha's talons merely scratched it as the Abomination released another scream backhanded the lycanthrope into the couch, turning the furniture and the wolf over.
Seeing Derek down, Stiles went for the barbed tail. Bashing the serpentine back end of the creature with the plank of wood, the impact did nothing as it felt like an amusement park hammer bashing a squeaky toy. Instead, it only further annoyed the monster who now turned its attention to Stiles. Whipping its barbed tail at the FBI agent, Stiles leaped out of the way and slipped down the floor with the Abomination in pursuit.
The monster screeched again, this time slowly marching toward the FBI agent. Stiles scrambled to get up but the Abomination was quicker. Its barbed tail raised to strike down on him before something large slammed the skull head, startling it. Derek had lifted the heavy couch and began to use the piece of furniture as a battering ram, allowing the impact to push the creature back and giving Stiles enough time to get up and escape.
Now behind the Alpha, Stiles dropped his weapon and turned to Derek who nodded. "We have to get to the front door. I'll try to give another distraction. Be ready to run."
Stiles agreed. With the last shove, Derek pounded the heavy couch onto the creature's skull head. The sharp barbs and the layers of fabric caught on to the Abomination's body as the thing tried using its grotesque hands to remove the offending obstruction that trapped him. Derek grabbed Stiles and raced through the door, leaving the thing to struggle with the oddly shaped trap it found itself in.
Outside, Eli and Eli Junior were greeted by a group of police cars and Sargeant Braeden pulling the pair into their protective barrier. Just then a police van pulled up as Director Claudia and the rest of the pack got out of the vehicle to witness the insanity going on outside.
Carrying the infant in his arms, Eli ran to Scott, Allison, Melissa, Chris and the sheriff. All of them hugged him.
"Are you okay?" Allison asked the teenager.
"Yeah and so is Junior here," replied Eli.
"Here, let me take him, " Melissa offered as she took the baby.
"Where is Stiles?" The sheriff asked the teen.
"Still inside," he explained. "With Derek and whatever that thing is."
Claudia stepped up to Sergeant Braeden. "Have your men ready with the heavy artillery. This Abomination isn't going to be easy to take down."
"On it," Braeden told the woman. "We have detonator bullets ready to fire."
"Good," Claudia nodded. She then turned to the pack. "How are all of you with weapons?"
Chris smirked. "Where do you keep the good stuff?"
She led the group to the back of the police van where a cache of artillery was on display. The sheriff grabbed the shotgun. Chris took two pistols while Melissa and Allison grabbed the crossbows and arrows. Scott wolfed out. Tierney, well she grabbed a police baton. "Each is locked and loaded with specialized bullets and arrow tips laced with White Oak ash and mystical ingredients from ASA mages. It has proven to cause damage against Abominations but it will take multiple rounds to kill it or to take it down. Like I said, they're not easy to kill. Sargeant Braeden's men have detonator bullets which will explode to help but we'll need everybody in this. Stay safe and stay close. This will not be easy."
Noah Stilinski cocked the shotgun. "It never is." He said with a scowl.
"Stiles and Derek are still in there!" Eli told the group as he held Junior close. "They're trying to fight that thing! You've got to do something!"
"Eli!" Claudia ordered the teen. "Stay with Braeden's men. We're moving in."
With the LCPD steading their guns, the pack moved in first with theirs. Within seconds, Derek in his Alpha form darted from the porch carrying Stiles as a screech came from inside the cottage. Joining their friends, the werewolf gently put down the FBI agent as they turned around to see The Abomination struggling with the piece of furniture embedded into its barbs from the front window.
Suddenly, an explosion rocked the building as the Abomination crashed through the front window tearing the structure apart as pieces of the stuck couch cushion flew everywhere. It shrieked as it bared its teeth and claws from the front porch as Claudia gave the signal.
"Now!"
Everyone fired. Sounds of gunshots and bullet casings echoed in the dark early morning.
And the screech of the Abomination being taken down was heard by the neighbors a few blocks away.
The Sprayberry Household
In the dim light, Kuza struggled with her iron chains. She pulled on the collar on her neck but to no success. It would not come off
Helpless, she made one last attempt. Closing her eyes, she searched for what little magical residue laid inside her. She reached in deep, seeing that tiny bit of spark since her tails and her katana were now gone and touched. She just needed a small amount, felt the prickly sensation of a zap and used that to guide her. Then she was off.
Her mind traveled through the cosmos, passing through the stars, searching for the right realm to make contact.
She succeeded. She found what she was looking for.
Earth 2011
FBI agent Mason Hewitt sat in the chair of the hospital wing of L. A.'s Cedar Sinai Hospital. Dr. Alan Deaton slept unconscious after the Beast's attack but is in good prognosis according to the doctors. It had been only a day since Stiles and his friends had portal jumped to search for Eli while he remained behind but he wondered how they were faring
Pulling out the tiny totem in his pocket that Kuza told to keep safe and returned his attention back to Deaton. "Hope our friends are doing well." He sighed. Examining the totem in his hand, he noticed a weird spark as a piece of light drifted from the object and touched Deatons' head.
Suddenly, Deaton's eyes opened as he shot up from the bed and sat dumbfounded staring at Mason.
"Alan?" Mason asked the druid. "You okay?"
Deaton then quickly began to speak to him. "Mason! It's me, Kuza!"
The FBI's agent's mouth dropped. "Kuza? What's going on? What's happening?"
Kuza in Deaton's form began to speak. "Listen, I don't have much time. My powers have been taken from me and I'm using too much energy to astral project and temporarily possess Deaton's body. Do you have the totem?"
Mason nodded and showed her.
"Good. Place the totem in my hand. I need to absorb some of its power so I can assist our friends."
The FBI agent did as he was instructed. As soon as she touched a jolt of electricity filled her, showcasing a single transparent tail and the fox spirit staring back at him with yellow eyes.
"Thank you, Mason." Kuza told the agent. "I just needed enough power to help our friends in battle."
"How are they doing?" He asked her. "Are they safe?"
"They won't be if I don't assist them." She told the agent. "Again, keep the totem safe. I'll call upon you again when it is time. Thank you, Mason." Deaton's eyes closed as he fell back into the bed asleep and unconscious.
"You're welcome," Mason whispered, hoping that a little bit of assistance would save his friends.
He watched as Alan's body slumbered and prayed that everyone returned home safe.

A spark of energy now flowed through Kuza. She wouldn't be able to break the chains but she certainly could transfer her body out of them. Shutting her eyes, she reached in and felt that surge of energy, her tail wagging as the fox spirit surrounded her, cocooned her and allowed the lightning to do its thing.
Within a minute, her body became glowing dust as she disappeared, vanished, and let each particle of energy slip through the chains as she followed her heart to where her Circle of Soldiers needed her.
It led her to Derek Hale's cottage.
