Route 42

It was the morning after the attack at the theatre. After saying his farewells to the Kimono Sisters and Morty, Jackson, Lyanne, and Leafeon continued on their journey, making their way to Mahogany Town. The route was at the bottom of a mountain known as Mt. Mortar, and there was a lake that covered parts of the path forward.

"According to this, we can either go into the dark tunnels of Mt. Mortar, or we can surf across the waters to make it to town." Jackson noted, looking at the map on his tablet, "So surfing or spelunking are our choices."

"Which would you prefer?" Leafeon asked him.

"Well, I don't mind either one." Jackson answered, looking at the lake edge a good ways away from them, "But if I had to choose, I'd say the quicker route is better. So let's go over the water."

"Riiight..." Leafeon muttered, already seeing a problem.

"I don't mind that." Lyanne stated, "I can transform into my Pokémon form, and easily fly over like I was back in Alto Mare. But how will you get over there?"

Jackson paused for a moment, before asking, "Can you carry Leafeon and I over the water with you?"

"Maybe one or the other, but not both." Lyanne answered, "I'm not that strong to carry the two of you as of yet."

"Right. We really need to get you into some training with the rest of my team." Jackson understood, thinking for a moment.

"Jackson, remember that we both had a bad experience when it came to water before." Leafeon argued, "Don't try to think of anything foolish. If need be, we should just go through the caves."

Jackson didn't pay attention to these words, thinking of an idea of what to do for all three of them to get across the water. He couldn't just build a boat, and there was no way to carry one over. He did think of creating a platform like the one in Alto Mare and getting Dewott to carry him over. However, that would also take some time creating the actual platform, and he felt that would be a backup idea if all else fails. He also had to get the harness, which is easy enough.

Suddenly, through all his processing of what to do, a spark shot into his head. An idea came to him as he gasped, "Yeah, that might work. Let's give that a shot!"

"Why do I think Jackson is thinking of a crazy idea?" Leafeon muttered, while Lyanne nervously giggled.

Music Intro

(Traveling through shining golden tunnel of energy, leading out into space with many world, all of which different colors, with the central world being the Pokémon world. The logo 'Jackson in Johto' appears on screen, before the camera passes through the arch of the 'n' from 'in, going into the world, through the clouds, where the glowing shadow of Ho-Oh can be seen, to the sea, where the shadow of Lugia is flying beneath the waters, before reaching the shoreline, getting blinded by the sun.)

Yeah, stand up boys!

Come on, face forward

(Jackson stands up, with Quilava at his side, followed by Dewott, Weavile, and Scizor, all of which expressing their unique personalities to Jackson.)

The call enveloping you is your guide

Step towards tomorrow

(Dewott gets angry at Weavile for trying to act so cool, while Jackson rolls his eyes before he, Quilava and Scizor took off ahead, with Weavile following behind, ignoring Dewott, who panicked and ran to not be left behind.)

Yeah, stand up girls!

At the end of what's more than real

(Leafeon rises up with Lyanne as Jackson and the boys pass by. The two look to one another, before giggling at the sight of the boys, before looking to the sky.)

We'll grab a light that's been covered by thick clouds

(Camera goes up into the starry sky, where a ball of light was slowly falling down, with the image of Gardevoir inside, her eyes slowly opening up as she looked up.)

How we spend our days before isn't good enough

(Camera passes by still images of all the companions and gym leaders that he has met or will meet in the future, including Cypher at the end of the pictures, while Jackson, Lyanne, Leafeon, and the rest of his current team walked along the bottom of the screen.)

At full speed

We can blast through

Even the highest wall

(Team Rocket suddenly appears, with the four admins of Team Rocket standing together, with the images of their ace Pokémon at their side, and the satellite system right above them.)

Stand up for your dream!

(Jackson draws his sword, while Lyanne turns into her Latias form, and the rest of his team ready to fight together.)

Be enthusiastic at what you do, no matter what it is

(Jackson rushes forward as he slashes his blade against Team Rocket grunts, followed by a spin kick, sending them flying, while Leafeon leaps up and unleashes a forward somersault Leaf Blade, taking out their Pokémon.)

Push your way through to make an opening

(Weavile unleashes an Ice Punch as Dewott throws a Water Pulse at a different direction, followed by the pair unleashing simultaneous Night Slashes. Quilava leaps through their attack, going into a Flame Charge.)

No matter how far

The answer you're seeking is

Stand up for your dream!

(Scizor flies in, striking with a couple Bullet Punches before firing a Hyper Beam. Latias flies above him, unleashing a Mist Ball, sending it ahead. The attacks all created an explosion that consumed the scene in smoke.)

Even if my feeling show weakness

Your voice that I hear close by

(In the burning Ecruteak City, a serious Jackson raced along the path with Leafeon and Quilava at his side, towards the two towers, where a deranged Ho-Oh and Lugia were at, unleashing Aeroblast and Sacred Fire onto the city.)

Gives me courage and strength

I can go the distance

(Jackson leaps high, landing on Latias's back as they flew off, with the rest of the team leaping with him before encased in a stream of their signature colors, before the screen turn white, with a crystal blue Pokéball with a gold and silver sword crossing behind it the only thing remaining.)

"I was right." Leafeon had to say after the setup was complete. Jackson's plan? It started by finding a shop where he could create a harness for Latias. They returned to the edge of the lake, where he placed the said harness, which was a black cross strap, a metal piece in front attaching it all together, and several meter long tether cord with a handle going down her back to where Jackson was. He did a quick check on his Air Shoes, activating them, making sure the turbine force was fine.

"It's not too crazy, if you think about it." Jackson muttered, making sure the harness was comfortably on Latias, "It's like jet skiing, only instead of actual skis, I'm using my Air Shoes to hover over the water. And instead of a boat, I am using Latias as propulsion to glide across the water."

"It is unusual, not to mention I have never really done something like this before." the Eon Pokémon noted.

"Jackson, using a Legendary Pokémon to help you surf across the water is one thing, but how you keep yourself above the water is completely different!" Leafeon argued as he walked away, taking the handle on the end of the tether cord.

"Latias, you comfortable about this?" Jackson asked her, "If you want, we can stop this."

Latias placed a claw to the metal piece of her harness, before she answered, "I don't think it's a problem. This might actually be fun."

"You heard her, Leafeon. Let's give it a shot!" Leafeon sighed at her trainer's words, but decided to give this plan a shake. She hopped onto Latias's back as she floated into the air, ready to take off. Jackson got a tight grip on the handle, and gave Latias a thumbs up. With everyone set and ready to go, they initiated the plan, and Latias took off. Jackson saw the cord tighten up, his Air Shoes keeping him afloat as he was pulled along with her. She shot him over the water, and Jackson looked to see if the wind pressure from the soles of his Extreme Gear were keeping him over the water.

The answer was 'yes'.

Jackson could feel himself floating over the water, like a hovercraft floats on land. Making sure he kept his feet steady as he flew over the water, Jackson looked to Latias and Leafeon, both of them looking back to see him still with them. Latias smiled as Leafeon was surprised. Latias pushed herself forward as they flew along the water, with Jackson holding on from behind with relative ease. He tilted his body as he tested his ability to turn on the water, which proved to be fine. He saw a rock sticking out of the water in the distance, and leapt up over it, landing with his feet still above the water.

"Looks like everything's great over here!" Jackson called out, smirking at the success in his plan.

"Let's see how well he can keep up that confidence." Leafeon told Latias, her mischievous nature springing up, "Latias, let's go faster!"

"You really want to teach Jackson a lesson, don't you?" Latias asked her, "But I'm still game. Let's go!" She pushed herself harder, shooting along the water towards the other side of the part of the lake they were on. Jackson could feel himself being propelled faster, leaning himself back to sustain balance. He saw the next strip of land ahead of them, and readied himself for landing.

Within a few seconds, Latias reached the shore, twisting her body as she stopped in the air. Leafeon was forcefully thrown off Latias, but she managed to land on her feet without trouble. As for Jackson, the moment he reached the shoreline, he crouched down before pushing himself into the air by the pressure of his air shoes, tucking his arms in as he did a twirling flip, then landed on his feet. He spun on one foot, turning to his friends, before waving a finger at them, as if he was saying 'No, you don't.'

"Nice landing." Latias told Jackson.

"Looks like the plan worked out just fine." Jackson stated, "And without any issues, no matter what was thrown my way. Right, Leafeon?" Jackson eyed his Verdant Pokémon, who could tell he knew what she wanted to happen to him.

"Fine, it wasn't such a crazy idea, after all." she sighed.

"You really gotta trust me more often on my plans." Jackson told her, putting his fists on his hips, "After everything we've been through, you should I am rather clever."

"I also know you have a habit of rushing yourself, which results in your plans going askew." Leafeon argued, "I have to be the cautious one for you, at times. Can you blame me if I test to see if everything is safe?"

"No risk, no reward." Jackson responded, "Still, it's not like I don't appreciate you keeping an eye out on me. But you don't need to try and teach me a lesson like trying to throw me off into the water. That's almost like bullying."

"Sorry. I guess I took things too far there." Leafeon apologized.

Suddenly, Latias giggled, and the two turned to her as she turned into her human Lyanne form, the harness falling off of her body, landing on the ground. "You two really are close to one another." She noticed, "One minute, you're toying with one another and arguing, and the next second, you're getting along again. I'm almost jealous that you two are that close. But it shows how much you care for one another."

"Well, I told you before that we have been through a lot together." Jackson responded.

"That's why we're able to understand one another, and not because of his translator." Leafeon noted.

"I see." Lyanne understood, "Well, I guess I'll have to spend more time with you guys before I reach that point."

"You're getting there." Jackson replied, "But don't push it, okay?" Lyanne nodded in understanding. "Well, since we got through all that, let's take a moment to train a bit." he suggested.

"Well, that was random." Leafeon noted.

"I just feel like this is a nice secluded spot to do some training." Jackson suggested, pulling out all the Pokéballs he had, "Besides, we did say moment's ago that Latias should train with us. So let's get to training!" He tossed out his balls, and out came the other four members of his team. He looked at all of them as he called out, "Okay, with Lyanne added in, we got six Pokémon here. So I'll divide you up into pairs, switching you around every once and a while. Now based on what I learned from the Pokémon Center, the gym leader of Mahogany Town specializes in Ice-types. Weavile, you are our only Ice-type, so don't give any one of them an inch. Fight like you mean it."

"Without fail." he answered, eyeing Dewott, who was leering at him with strong intentions to beat him.

"Now, let's start off with giving Weavile a tough opponent. Quilava, give him a challenge to start off with!" Jackson told his Fire-type.

"You got it!" he answered, and the two parted to start their training.

"Dewott, you and Leafeon pair up." Jackson told him, "If what I learned about Ice-type comes true, then there's a good chance there will be some Ice and Water-types. Try working around that."

"Ha! You know I won't make it easy for you, Leafeon!" Dewott scoffed, walking away, with his partner behind him.

"I'm sure you won't." she replied, rolling her eyes.

"Lyanne, you're gonna train with Scizor." Jackson told her, "And just so you remember, you did win the race to Ecruteak City, while Scizor came in last place. You do have permission to ask him to go easy on you anytime during the fight, or any other wish within his power."

"I still honor that vow." Scizor answered.

"Thanks, but I can't think of anything as of yet." Lyanne replied, transforming into her Pokémon form, "Even so, I look forward to our bout."

"As am I." Scizor replied, readying his pincers for battle.

"I'll command from Latias's side, if that is okay." Jackson told Scizor, before pulling out his Pokédex, "Let me just see what moves you know..."

"I can tell you that." Latias argued, "My moves are Dragonbreath, Recover, Mist Ball, and Psywave."

"Got it." Jackson understood, reading the moves matching his Pokédex info. He put the dex away, and looked to Scizor, calling out, "Alright, buddy! Come at us!"

"Yes, sensei!" Scizor answered, pumping his claws, before launching forward with a Bullet Punch. Latias couldn't react so quickly, and got punched backwards, tumbling in the air, before falling to the ground.

"Latias, you okay?" Jackson asked.

"Yeah..." she replied, floating into the air, "I didn't realize just how fast that attack was until I was on the receiving end of it."

"Recover, then!" Jackson called out. Latias closed her eyes as she glowed a green hue, her wounds from the Bullet Punch disappearing. "Useful move." Jackson muttered, turning to Scizor, "Now, let's go on the offense! Psywave!" Latias unleashed a stream of blue rings from her mouth, going towards Scizor, who dodged the attack, coming around, and unleashed a Vacuum Wave back at her. "Fly up!" Jackson called out.

Latias took to the sky, evading the fast wave of energy, taking to the sky as it flew above where Scizor was. Latias looked about as from other parts, Quilava's Flamethrower and Dewott's Water Pulse were shot into the air from their battles. 'I got this. I GOT this.' she told herself, as Jackson called out, "Dragonbreath!" She inhaled and unleashed a stream of green energy from her mouth, going down at Scizor, who unleashed an X-Scissor to block the attack. He unleashed the cross slash that countered the attack, dismissing the long-ranged move all together. "He stopped it?!" Latias gasped.

"My sensei taught me the art of parrying attacks." Scizor told her, "Now, try to parry this!" He flapped his wings, and flew up towards Latias, readying another Bullet Punch for her.

"Latias, dodge!" Jackson called out. Latias started flying about the sky, evading Scizor's punches barely as she darted around with grace and finesse, while Scizor was having a hard time getting a hit on her.

"That's it, Latias!" Jackson called out, "Your specialty is in your speedy aerial capabilities and long range! Take advantage of that! Scizor, you're not use to aerial combat! You also have a heavier body, so try to make light of that!"

"Yes, sensei!" Scizor answered, trying to pursue Latias, as she moved swiftly away from him, turning around, and unleashing a Dragonbreath that blasted him out of the sky, nearly hitting the ground had he not caught himself with his wings.

"Latias, Mist Ball!" Jackson ordered.

"Coming right up!" Latias answered, gathering energy from the feather downs on her body, forming it into a ball in front of her, and blasting straight at Scizor. The attack struck him, blasting him hard, and sending him crashing from the sky to the ground, creating a dust cloud.

"Nice..." Jackson muttered, "That's a Legendary Pokémon for you." He then looked to see more Vacuum Wave attacks fly into the air at Latias, who dodged about, before getting hit by one, causing her damage, but not enough to make her fall.

The Pincer Pokémon appeared out of the dust cloud, got to his feet again, looking up at his opponent. "Sensei, I am seeing a flaw in my fighting style." he addressed.

"Oh? Is that so?" Jackson asked, waving a hand to Latias to hold off for a moment, before asking, "What is it?"

"My speed in the air can be improved through Agility, and my physical combat is something I have no problem with." Scizor acknowledged, "However, my long-ranged capability is lacking."

"Guess that makes sense." Jackson understood, "Vacuum Wave is a fast move, and according to what I learn, it is stronger with Technician as your ability, but you could use a much stronger move." He paused for a moment, before saying, "We'll figure that out at some point. Right now, work on trying to evade those long-ranged attacks as you get in close."

"Understood, sensei." Scizor answered, before taking to the sky, using Agility to boost his speed while he flew, and readying a Bullet Punch while Latias unleashed another Dragonbreath.

Jackson watched each of his teammates, but made sure to play the role of trainer to Latias, watching her fight and understand the style that she should work with, along with noticing the flaws in her battle style.

After about five minutes of this, Jackson called off their battles, swapping around opponents, Weavile facing Latias next, Leafeon fighting Scizor, and Dewott facing Quilava. Jackson was making sure each of his teammates dealt with type weaknesses and advantages to make the ones with the weaknesses get stronger and endure their opponent's attacks. He made sure to give them each Oran Berries before the fights to make sure they recovered. Those with type weaknesses were having a difficult time, and Jackson had to make sure each of them got the attention necessary.

"Latias, the problem here is that you only have one move that works against Dark-types." Jackson argued to her, as she was getting herself beaten pretty hard against Weavile, "You should expand your variety. Don't focus on two types of move. Maybe change up one of the moves into something new."

"You mean, learn a new move, right off the bat?" Latias asked, "That's a difficult task."

"Not unless it is something natural to you." Jackson argued, looking to the water nearby, "Maybe something water-related? A Water-type move, maybe."

"Hmm... I could try." Latias answered, flying to the water, and diving into it. Once in the water, she focused her body on the waves, her eyes closed. She knew the waters quite well. She was raised in a water city, after all. She grew up being a part of it. Why shouldn't she learn a move based on the water itself. Her eyes opened up, and both they and her eyes glowed.

On shore, Weavile and Jackson looked at the water, before looking at one another, wondering if the idea worked. Sure enough, they felt the water ripple as they looked in, and saw Latias rise out of the water, bringing the water with her, forming a wave that rose above, towering over Jackson and Weavile, who were startled at first, before leaping back as one as the wave crashed down onto where they stood. The water receded as Latias floated back down to the ground in front of them.

"Impressive." Weavile commended her.

"That looked like Surf!" Jackson noticed, recalling that move before.

"You guessed correctly." the Eon Pokémon replied, smiling at her achievement, "I gave up Psywave, but learning that move was rather easy. I agree that I should learn a variety of moves in order to fight all kinds of opponents."

"Great! Then why don't you learn to do that." Jackson told her, "And why you are at it, try thinking about Mist Ball, and use it in a way that can be used other than an attack."

"Use Mist Ball not as an attack?" Latias asked, confused.

"You'll figure it out." Jackson told her, walking away to assist the other Pokémon, leaving Latias and Weavile to get back to their fight.

Jackson went to Quilava next, who had the same problem as Latias; only having two types of moves, being Normal and Fire-types, and one of the types would not do any good in a battle against Ghost-type Pokémon like Morty's team. Recalling that battle, Jackson suggested maybe changing up Quick Attack and turning it into a different kind of move that is both fast and a different type of move. So after some testing together with Dewott, they came to a solution of a move; Aerial Ace. It worked similarly to Quick Attack, but instead gathered the wind around him to put him into a streaking dash that Dewott could not evade, and got hit with pinpoint accuracy. This made Quilava feel joyous, as this was a new boon in his arsenal.

After another round of training, everyone swapped around, with Latias and Leafeon taking each other on, Weavile and Dewott going into a heated match with their Night Slashes, and Quilava fighting Scizor, the big battle Jackson wanted. He was focused on Scizor's ability to evade Fire-type moves and try to improve getting close with his attacks or shooting off his Vacuum Wave attack. This wasn't working out for him, and he got burned once or twice by Quilava's attacks.

"Sensei, can you teach me how you counter flames coming at you?" Scizor requested, "It is too hot for me to physically block, and my Vacuum Wave is not strong enough."

"Sure, I can do that." Jackson answered, drawing out his sword and stepping into the battlefield with his two Pokémon, "Quilava, fire a Flamethrower at me, please." He pulled back his sword, wind gathering up around it. Quilava knew Jackson enough that he didn't bother hesitating, and unleashed a jet of flames at his trainer. Jackson concentrated, before roaring, "Avian Espada!" He swung his sword, and unleashed a razor-sharp gale that dispersed the flames, coming at Quilava, causing damage at him, sending him flying, and crashing to the ground, injured.

"Incredible..." Scizor muttered as Jackson raced over to Quilava, apologizing to him for the amount of damage he delivered, and started taking care of his wounds with a potion. He looked to his claws, reminding himself of the scythe hands they once were before he evolved. "Sensei not only is able to fight with incredible skills with that sword, but he even controls the winds himself, and make them his blade. I want to do the same. I want to turn the wind into my own blade. I know I can. Use my Vacuum Wave, channel the winds within the energy, then unleash it into my target."

He started gathering up the energy like he would use Vacuum Wave, before attempting to grab the wind with his energy, stirring it into the attack. The wind started to swirl around him, his claws becoming blue from the hue. Jackson got done treating Quilava's wounds before the two looked to see Scizor's body surrounded by the wind. "Scizor?" Jackson asked.

Scizor's eye's snapped open, and he swung his claws, unleashing a sharp blade of wind straight at them. Jackson got his sword ready, despite the angle he was crouching at, and slashed the attack in two before it collided with him. The broken pieces flung behind him, crashing to the ground, where they created gusts of wind from being dispersed. The attack also drew the attention of the other Pokémon.

"Woah! What was that?!" Dewott asked, still having his Night Slash blade at the ready.

"That was not Vacuum Wave." Leafeon noted.

"I think that was Razor Wind." Latias recognized.

"Awesome, Scizor!" Jackson called out, getting to his feet with Quilava at his side, "That was a lot more powerful than your Vacuum Wave."

"This is true, but it does take some time to charge up." Scizor pointed out.

"Charge time isn't the problem." Jackson argued, "If small attacks aren't enough power, then a sharper, stronger attacks are necessary. My masters taught me that repetitive attacks will over-exhaust you, but a single, pinpoint attack can do a lot more damage at times. And we can work around the charging up part. I saw you gather up the winds around you in order to execute that, so maybe with some training, that can be a barrier while you charge."

"An interesting idea." Scizor acknowledged, looking at his pincers.

"Jackson, only you could think of something that ludicrous." Leafeon pointed out as all the other Pokémon gathered around him, "How is wind gonna be that much of a defensive barrier against powerful attacks?"

"I can teach you that." Jackson answered, "I can also teach you ways of gathering up winds more efficiently. After that, we can get to everyone fighting against me."

"You fight them?" Latias asked, surprised.

"You'll join in, too." Leafeon told her, "And trust me, you're gonna need to give it all you got to face him." Latias couldn't believe her words. But, then again, he wasn't normal.

As Jackson had his sword drawn, showing Scizor the art of gathering the wind, someone was watching from a far off distance. It was Suicune, looking through the trees as it watched the group in action. It had been keeping tabs with him every once and a while, wanting to see how much he had been improving throughout his journey. But more importantly, he had been making sure of his heart, and his connection to Pokémon.

"You are rather obsessed with him, aren't you?" said a gruff voice, and Suicune looked to see Raikou appear out of nowhere, landing right next to it.

"The boy, Jackson, is a rather intriguing trainer." Suicune told Raikou, "He is acknowledged and respected by his Pokémon, and even by Legendaries such as Latias, who is now joining with him."

"Hmph! A rather odd companion." Raikou argued, watching as Jackson and Scizor were together, concentrating as they gathered up the wind, Jackson muttering instructions to him as they stood together, "Still, he is rather impressive. He is as powerful as a Pokémon, but he does not take his power for granted. He treats his team as equals, comrades, and friends. They are not master and servant. Just like the boy in Kalos."

"The one acknowledged by Arceus to be its chosen." Suicune summed up, "Jackson isn't at his level, but that doesn't mean he isn't at levels beyond the average. But what is to come next will be another big test for him and his Pokémon."

"You mean what is happening in the town nearby, and the Lake of Rage." Raikou noted, "I heard the Pokémon have been growing more agitated in that area."

They looked to see Jackson was now in the center of the training field, his sword in wooden form, with all six Pokémon around him. Dewott immediately came at him with a Razor Shell, which Jackson parried with his blade. They clashed a few times, before Jackson sent him flying, right before twisting and blocking both Leafeon and Weavile's attacks together. He grinned as he looked confidently both at his own ability to fight and his Pokémon's strength.

He then saw Latias unleash a Mist Ball, and he used the force of his two opponents to push himself away from the oncoming attack, letting them take the hit instead. Weavile took no damage, but Leafeon got hit hard. Jackson touch the ground and, with the power of his Air Shoes, jetted himself into the air, reaching Latias's level, and bashed Latias with his sword before she could react, causing her to spiral out of the sky, crashing to the ground.

Jackson hit the ground just as Quilava leapt in with his new Aerial Ace, hitting him in the back. He was jettisoned forward as he tumbled along the ground, but got back up mid-tumble, grinding to a halt. He looked to see Scizor with his Razor Wind, gathering up the winds around him with such little effort, thanks to his training, and unleashed his attack faster than before. Jackson launched forward, doing a front roll underneath the Razor Wind, before going into a sliding kick into Quilava, using an outstretched foot to kick him up. He then pushed off with his other foot, getting into the air to catch and grab Quilava, before circle throwing him into Scizor, knocking the two over. Jackson skidded to a halt, and unleash a sword beam at Weavile, who tried to come in with a surprise Ice Punch, but got knocked back instead. He stood there as all six of the Pokémon were injured by his attacks, getting back up.

"Come on, guys." Jackson told the team, "Only Quilava got a hit on me. I know you can do better than that! Let's try this again!"

"He's really tough with his training, huh?" Latias asked Weavile, who was closest to her, "We just got off training with one another, and he has us doing this?"

"But that's what makes him so cool." Weavile answered, getting to his feet, "And we inspire to get to his level." Latias was intrigued by his answer, looking at Jackson as he looked to his teammates, waiting for the next move. Latias couldn't help but be admired by him, as well. She knew she could get stronger if she was with him, and this was a good example. She shot her Dragonbreath at Jackson, who turned to see the attack come at him.

The explosion of the attack took place as Suicune and Raikou turned and dashed away. "A powerful trainer, indeed." Raikou muttered, "But is his heart ready?"

"That...remains to be certain." Suicune answered, as they disappeared from view, while Jackson's training continued on behind them.
