After leaving the gallery, the group of friends gathered in the lobby waiting for Arizona so they could congratulate her before going across the lot to take a tour of Fresh START. Callie stood at the information desk pretending to look at her emails while catching snippets of the conversations going on around her but the only thing she could think about was Arizona and how much she wanted her. Christina, Addie, and Nicole were still talking about the procedure, Meredith and Maria who apparently joined them at some point, were laughing about something that happened the night before, Miranda and Richard were reminiscing about how Arizona almost had her talked into switching to peds, April was on the phone with Jackson checking on Harriet, and Alex was raiding the last of the cookies that were left from the opening ceremony. Callie had to distance herself and settle down or she was going to attack her wife the moment she entered the lobby. Her emotions were all over the place and she realized she completely underestimated how she would react to watching Arizona perform surgery for the first time in years. On one hand, she was in complete and utter awe of her wife; what Arizona was capable of doing was nothing short of a miracle. On the other hand, she was so turned on she could barely stand it; her body was buzzing with desire.

Callie knew she was in trouble the minute she looked into the scrub room and saw that damn pink scrub cap for the first time in two years, just the sight of it made her heart start racing. She always loved watching Arizona perform surgery and today was no different, except it was. It was totally different because this time, everything was different. They were different. She wasn't just watching Arizona operate for the first time in years, she was watching her wife, the fetal surgeon, perform a procedure very few people even had the knowledge or skill to do. She was on the edge of her seat the entire time Arizona was operating on those tiny babies, hyper-focused on her steady hands and delicate touch, hanging on her every word. Her heart nearly melted when her wife spoke to the babies with such a sweet and quiet tone. When Arizona finished the last stitch, it was almost like a switch clicked in Callie's brain and the past several years and everything Arizona went through to get to this point flashed through her mind and she couldn't help but shed a few tears when the surgery was finished. She was just so proud of everything she accomplished and so happy to be able to call Arizona her wife again and it all finally caught up to her and now all she wanted was to be alone with her wife.

Feeling her skin tingle, Callie looked up just in time to see Arizona descending the stairs and her heart started racing all over again. The sunlight shining through the window landed on her pale skin and golden hair in a way that made her look like she was glowing and her eyes were the most magnificent shade of blue that Callie had ever seen, but what stood out the most was that dazzling super magic, dimple popping smile that was aimed in her direction. The glorious sight did absolutely nothing to cool her overheated libido and made her want her wife even more. When she saw that Arizona was walking straight towards her, Callie's smile bloomed and she held out her arms to envelop her in a tight hug. When Arizona's arms wrapped around her neck, she bent her head down, kissed her softly, and murmured, "I am so proud of you and just…my God Arizona, you just…I can't even describe how in awe I am of your talent."

Feeling Callie's strong arms around her made Arizona relax slightly, but it was nowhere near enough. Adrenaline was flowing through her body like crazy and all she wanted to do was rip Callie's clothes off and exert some of her pent up energy. Unfortunately she couldn't do a damn thing about it because she was also surrounded by friends and colleagues, but God did she need her wife right now. Judging by the darkening of glistening brown eyes, the feeling was completely mutual. Arizona lifted her hand to brush at the stubble on the back of Callie's head and pulled her back down for a deep searing kiss, letting her know exactly what she wanted.

April turned to Karev and asked, "Do they know we're still here?" Karev shrugged and answered around the cookie he just shoved in his mouth, "I don't think they care." Christina snorted and quipped, "I've seen that look…right before I got hit in the face with roller girl's shirt." Richard turned his back and replied, "I feel like I'm intruding." Bailey shook her head, pursed her lips, and hissed, "Shameless." Meredith cleared her throat and asked, "Hey Cal, how about that tour?" Callie was so lost in the kiss and the dirty, dirty thoughts running through her mind, she could barely make out what anyone said until she felt something hit her shoulder and heard Meredith command, "Torres, tour."

Breaking the kiss, Callie looked around her to see all of their friends staring at them, then back at Arizona and watched as her wife's eyes narrowed in that sexy way they do, then her gaze darted toward the hall, and she instantly got the message. Arizona knew Callie understood her when she saw that lascivious smirk take over her expression. Callie started backing up, lifted her thumb over her shoulder and answered, "Yeah…I just…keys…my keys are…" Arizona started moving with her and cut in, "Keys…right, in my office…I'll uh…I'll help you find them." Both women turned and nearly sprinted down the hallway. April asked, "They aren't going to find the keys are they?" Christina responded, "Not where they're going to look." Maria shook her head at her friends and suggested, "They'll be a while, come on, I'll show you the center." Nicole tugged on Shep's handle to tell him to walk and tossed out, "And that is why my office is on the other side of the building." Having been to Fresh START before, Addison waved her friends off and followed the older fetal surgeon to her office.

By the time they reached Arizona's office, Callie was already unbuttoning her vest and started on her shirt when Arizona pushed her up against the door and clicked the lock. While their lips met in a hard searing kiss and their tongues tangled for dominance, hands were shedding clothes as if they were on fire and both of their shirts were on the floor within seconds. When Arizona reached for the button on her pants, Callie turned and pinned Arizona against the nearest wall with her body, grabbed both wrists with one hand and secured them above her head. Arizona growled with frustration and squirmed to break free from her wife's hold and moaned when a strong muscular thigh slipped between her legs brushing up against her pulsating sex. Callie pressed her body more firmly against Arizona's, making it nearly impossible for her to move, pulled back from the kiss and muttered against swollen pink lips, "Not this time Mrs. Robbins-Torres." Arizona whimpered when Callie nipped at her bottom lip and slipped her tongue into her mouth, leaving no question as to who was in charge…for the moment.

Callie slid her hand up Arizona's back until she reached her bra and opened the clasp with a quick flip of her fingers. She made the mistake of letting go of Arizona's wrists so she could slide her bra off and found herself being pushed against the door once again while Arizona's hands immediately went back to the button on her pants as she husked out, "You gotta be quicker than that Calliope." Callie feigned compliance and allowed Arizona to unbutton her pants but before she could get any further, she flipped their positions and dropped to her knees taking Arizona's pants and panties to the floor with her, smirked and asked, "Like this?" Arizona dropped her head back against the door when she felt the first swipe of that talented tongue on her throbbing clit and moaned, "God yes, just like that." Callie inhaled deeply, reveling in the scent that was uniquely Arizona, and lapped up the salty-sweet arousal that gathered in her wife's sex just from their little game of cat and mouse, while carefully removing her shoes and pants so she could have better access.

Arizona looked down at her wife and groaned when she saw her own juices glistening on her chin. Without hesitation, she leaned down and captured shiny red lips in a long sexy kiss enjoying her own flavor on Callie's tongue. Callie was certain Arizona was trying to distract her, broke the kiss, scooted herself forward, lifted Arizona's left leg over her shoulder, effectively displaying her sex, leaned forward, and parted her outer lips with her tongue. Arizona's hips bucked forward and she grabbed a handful of short black hair for balance as well as to keep Callie's mouth exactly where it was. Callie lifted her right arm and wrapped it around Arizona's thigh to keep it on her shoulder and snaked her left hand around and splayed it on a firm round ass cheek to hold her steady, all the while licking and sucking at her outer lips. Callie looked up through her eyelashes to see Arizona had her eyes closed and she was tugging and rolling her nipple and biting her bottom lip as her hips started to roll with the rhythm of her tongue. The sight was nothing short of erotic and Callie was on the verge of slipping her hand into her own pants to relieve the pressure.

Arizona nearly collapsed when Callie's tongue circled her opening and entered her tight channel, she could feel the vibrations of the hums of pleasure her wife was emitting and it only served to stimulate her more. She continued to roll her hips when that amazing tongue moved to her sensitive clit sucking and flicking at it and when two strong fingers swiped through her sex then entered her hard and fast, she had to bite her knuckle to keep from crying out. When the initial shock was over she hissed, "Yes! Fuck me." When her wife proceeded to do exactly as she was told, Arizona reached out to grab the door handle and tightened her grip on Callie's hair to keep herself upright. Callie continued to thrust in and out at lightning speed and could feel the walls of the hot tight channel clenching her fingers, she began making a scissoring motion and when she felt the channel relax slightly, slipped a third finger in, evoking a loud low moan from Arizona. She was pumping her hand so hard she could feel Arizona's foot coming off the floor with each inward thrust and the hand in her hair tighten its grip almost painfully. She could tell by the soft whimpers and trembling of her legs that Arizona was close and wanted to draw out her pleasure as long as she could.

Slowing her pace slightly, Callie began tickling and teasing the swollen nub with her tongue and smiled at the grunt of frustration she heard from above her. Arizona was so close, her stomach was clenching, her legs were on fire, and electricity was flowing through her veins. She wanted, needed to come and groaned in frustration when Callie had her teetering at the edge of euphoria then slowed down keeping her from tipping over. When she looked down and saw that damn smirk, she knew her wife was doing this on purpose. She pulled Callie's hair toward her almost burying her face in her sex and commanded, "Calliope Iphigenia Robbins-Torres, I swear to God if you don't fuuuu…OH YES!" Callie was determined to prolong her wife's pending orgasm right up until she heard her full name, her full married name, come out of those luscious pink lips. She lost all control and began nipping the swollen red bud with her teeth fervently and added a fourth finger, pounding into her wife relentlessly.

Biting her arm to muffle her scream of pleasure, Arizona felt her orgasm tear through her like a freight train and was helpless to stop it. Her entire body shook from the force and it felt like she was never going to come down from this high. She glanced down to see her wife's head between her legs still pleasuring her and another, smaller, but no less intense orgasm ripped through her body and this time she wasn't fast enough and couldn't muffle the scream that radiated from deep within. Not able to take any more, she pushed Callie's head back and nearly collapsed in her arms. Callie sprang to her feet and effortlessly carried her wife to the sofa. Just as she was about to walk away to get Arizona a bottle of water, a strong pale arm shot out, grabbed the waistband of her pants, pulled them down, and tugged her hand until she straddled Arizona's hips. Arizona wrapped her hand around the back of Callie's neck, pulled her closer and muttered against her lips, "Where do you think you're going?" Callie had no time to answer because before she knew it, Arizona entered her with two fingers making her cry out, "FUCK!"

Callie was so wet, Arizona easily slipped into her channel and started thrusting in and out slowly. With her free hand, she pushed and pulled at Callie's bra and ordered, "Take this off." Callie rolled her hips into Arizona's touch and quickly complied to her demands. No sooner did the bra hit the floor behind them did a warm wet tongue lap at her tight nipple and a small pale hand snaked up her ribcage and pinched and rolled the other one. Callie gripped the back of the sofa, threw her head back and began riding Arizona's fingers as fast as she could. Arizona knew the two fingers weren't enough for Callie, she could see in her eyes she wanted more and quickly added a third and a fourth, muffling the animalistic cry of pleasure with her tongue as she captured Callie's lips in a hard searing kiss. Pulling back, she encouraged, "That's it baby, take what you want." Callie was lost in a haze of lust and bucked and rolled her hips against Arizona's fingers. She could hear their skin slapping together, the sticky moisture of her wife's fingers slipping in and out of her sex, her low cries of pleasure and Arizona's murmurs provoking her to take more, to fuck herself, to chase her own pleasure and it only spurred her on more.

Arizona slid her left hand from Callie's breast, down her sweat slick abdomen, between her legs and pinched her engorged clit causing her wife to grind down on her hands and hiss, "Fuck, just like that Arizona." The blonde looked down between their bodies and watched as her fingers, soaked with arousal, disappeared on each inward thrust. Feeling her adrenaline kick in once again, she bucked her hips forward and rolled them so Callie was on her back and she hovered over her pounding into her with every last bit of energy she had. Callie cried out at the sudden movement, wrapped her arms around Arizona's back and held on for dear life while Arizona thrust into her, grunting with each forward movement. She could feel the tension in Arizona's body and knew her wife needed more, she was almost frantic in her actions and worked up all over again. Snaking her hand between their bodies, Callie easily slipped three fingers into her hot wet channel and quickly picked up the pace so their bodies moved in tandem with one another.

Using her hips to power her thrusts, Arizona cried out when Callie entered her once again, causing her to move even faster. Determined to make her wife fall apart before she did, Arizona supported herself with her left hand on the arm of the couch, bent her head to take a tight mocha nipple into her mouth and nibbled and sucked while pressing her thumb against Callie's swollen clit. Callie let out a string of profanities as lights flashed behind her eyes, her body arched off the sofa making her push deeper into Arizona's g-spot and she barely heard her wife's cry of pleasure over her own. Arizona's body crumpled on top of Callie's, both of them still trembling and trying to catch their breath, buried deep inside the other.

Callie could feel both of their hearts beating against her chest and wasn't surprised at all when their breathing quickly aligned and the two hearts felt like they were beating as one. She rubbed her hand up and down Arizona's back and finally felt her body fully relax for the first time since she walked into her arms after her surgery. The two lay together quietly for a few minutes before they became uncomfortable and slowly removed their hands from each other's sex when they felt the tight walls release their grip. Moaning softly, Arizona settled herself more comfortably on top of Callie and picked up her head to brush their lips together. Callie slipped her tongue into Arizona's mouth and hummed in pleasure when it was quickly accepted. This was a slow sensual dance of the tongues in complete contrast to their carnal acts just minutes ago.

When the kiss came to it's natural end, Arizona lifted her hand to smooth Callie's mussed hair and whispered, "Hi." Callie tucked a loose blonde curl behind her ear, brushed their lips together sweetly, and murmured, "Hi yourself." Arizona smiled down at her wife, amazed at how they could go from the raw passion they just shared to this soft tender side so quickly and easily. She rested her head on Callie's chest and was content to just listen to the steady thud of her heart, neither of them needing to talk to understand the love they shared with one another. Callie let out a soft sigh, happy to be holding her wife in her arms, enjoying the few moments of peace after a rather chaotic two days. Arizona looked at her hand and the glistening pink diamonds she immediately returned to her finger after scrubbing out caught her attention making her smile. Callie could feel the movement of her wife's cheek against her chest and asked, "What are you smiling about?" Arizona lifted her hand so they both could see the rings on her finger and simply answered, "This." Callie took the soft pale hand in hers, brought it to her lips, kissed the rings, linked their fingers together and whispered, "While I was watching you today, it's like everything hit me all at once. The scrub cap…I haven't seen it in two years and I wasn't just watching you, I was watching my wife, my wife who has this amazing talent and can save babies before they are even born and it…it shook me. I couldn't help but think about how far you've come, how far we've both come. I was sitting in the gallery with all of our friends from Seattle watching you work on the tiniest of humans and it was so familiar yet so different at the same time."

Arizona heard the soft sniffle and looked up to see the tears running down the side of Callie's face. She kissed her softly and replied, "I felt the same way. I looked up into the gallery and heard the conversation and it's like it could have been ten years ago. Only…I like this version of us better. I love who we are now." Callie's smile bloomed across her face and she agreed, "Yeah, I like this version of us better too. I'm so proud of you and I love you so much." Arizona captured her lips in a long languorous kiss, pulled back and said, "I love you too." Callie took a deep breath and asked, "Why didn't you tell me about the dedication?" Arizona smirked and responded, "I wanted it to be a surprise. Why didn't you tell me I was a trustee of Fresh START?" Callie chuckled and answered, "I was wondering when that would come back around." Arizona shrugged and quipped, "I forgot. I just figured it was like everything else, we added each other's names to our other investments for Sofia's benefit." Callie ran her fingers through tangled blonde hair and explained, "It wasn't for Sofia. I did it because I knew, even if we never spoke again, you would take care of the center and do what you thought I would want. Sofia's name isn't on the paperwork...just yours." Arizona felt her heart skip a beat, it was humbling to know that even after everything, before they even talked, that Callie trusted her with something so important, that Callie trusted her at all. At a loss for words, she just bent her head, whispered, "Thank you for trusting me." and brushed their lips together.

After a few minutes of lying together quietly, Callie groaned and lamented, "We should probably get up and join the real world again." Arizona grumbled her discontent but agreed, "Yeah, I need to check on Erin, then I'll grab Sofia and the other kids if they are still there and come over to the center when I'm done." Callie started to sit up and winced when she realized she was nearly stuck to the couch. Arizona giggled and suggested, "Maybe we should take a quick shower first." Callie nodded in agreement and allowed her wife to help her off the sofa and followed her into the adjoining bathroom.

Arizona went up to check on Erin before she left for the evening and found Larry sitting outside of the ICU with his head in his hands. Knowing he might need company but not wanting to pry, she sat down next to him and didn't say a word. Feeling someone beside him, Larry looked up and asked, "Why hasn't she woken up yet?" Arizona explained, "I am keeping her sedated a little bit longer to give the babies more time to rest, they've had a big day and when she wakes up, they will wake up. Come with me, I want to show you something." Arizona walked into the room and turned up the volume on the fetal monitor then asked, "Do you hear that?" Unsure of what he was listening for, Larry shook his head and responded, "It sounds like a normal heartbeat to me." Arizona nodded, turned down the volume again, tapped a few keys on her tablet, and asked, "What do you hear now?" Larry furrowed his brow and answered, "That sounds like the same thing we heard when we came in for the exam." Arizona smiled softly, turned up the volume on the fetal monitor again and asked, "Now what do you hear?" Larry's lips curved upward as he started to understand and said, "They sound like normal heartbeats, the click is gone."

Escorting the man out of the room, Arizona explained, "Yes, the click is gone, I was able to remove the tumor and complete all three procedures with no problem. Their hearts are still beating a little bit fast and when they slow down, we will decrease the sedation and Erin will wake up. She's our only patient right now so she will be monitored around the clock. If anything goes wrong, if those heart beats speed up or change just the tiniest little bit, Dr. March who will be on the night shift, will call me and I'll be here as soon as I can." Larry breathed a sigh of relief and said, "You probably think I'm overreacting." Arizona put her hand on the man's shoulder and responded, "I think you're a man who loves his wife and is worried about his children. I also think you are a man who needs some rest. That couch in there pulls out into a pretty comfortable bed. I'm going to send a nurse in with some blankets and I want you to try to get some sleep. Can you do that for Erin and your girls?" Larry nodded his head and answered, "I think I can do that. Thank you Dr. Robbins-Torres, for everything." Arizona smiled and replied, "My pleasure, now get some rest."

After asking a nurse to get Larry some bedding, the fetal surgeon started toward the elevators to gather her things, collect her daughter, and leave for the evening. When she turned the corner, she was surprised to see Nicole standing near the nurses' station, apparently waiting for her. Arizona put her hands in her pockets and declared, "You know, eavesdropping is kind of creepy." The older fetal surgeon chuckled and replied, "I had to give up my job as a peeping Tom, so this is what you get." Arizona laughed and just shook her head. Nicole added, "This is the last nice thing I'm going to say to or about you for a while since I've filled my quota today, but what you did just now, that's what makes you the best. That's why people are going to come from all over the country to see you. They come for the surgery, but the time and attention you give to the patients and their families, that's rare, that's what makes you stand out above everyone else."

Arizona looped her arm through her mentor's elbow and guided her to the elevators, reminding her, "You used to get on my case for that." Nicole chuckled and nodded, "I was knocking on death's door, I didn't have time for frivolities." Arizona just hummed her acknowledgment; she knew Nicole was uncomfortable with giving compliments and what she just said paired with her speech earlier meant a great deal to her. Arizona guided Nicole into the elevator, pushed the button for the lobby and when the doors closed, she decided to test the waters, "The things you said today…" Nicole cut her off and said, "I lost my notecards, I had to wing it." Arizona smirked and retorted, "I was just gonna say, thanks for not calling me a horse." Nicole laughed again and quipped, "I knew I forgot something." When they stepped off the elevator, Arizona asked, "Are you coming over for dinner tonight?" The older woman shook her head and responded, "I think one night of partying is enough for me. Besides, I don't trust you around my dog." Arizona laughed, walked her mentor to her office then turned to go to her own office before stopping by the daycare to pick up Sofia and the others.

When Callie caught up with the group, they had just finished their tour and were standing in the lobby. She started to ask what they thought when Meredith punched her on the shoulder and proclaimed, "You could have warned me!" Callie argued, "I told you when I first opened the center." The blonde scoffed and replied, "You didn't tell me about this." She waved her hand in the direction of her deceased husband's picture. Knowing her friend was right, Callie tilted her head and offered, "I'm sorry, I really didn't think about the picture or the dedication when you headed over here." Meredith smirked and quipped, "No you were too busy looking for your keys in your wife's pants." Callie didn't even pretend to feel guilty, looked at the group who was all staring at her knowingly and said, "Oh you've all done it, quit looking at me like that." They all burst into laughter knowing they couldn't argue. Bailey asked, "Where's Arizona?" Callie responded, "She wanted to check on the senator and pick up the kids. She should be over in a minute."

They all looked up when they heard the door open and Callie beamed, "There she is." Arizona and Sofia both went directly to Callie and threw their arms around her. Arizona looked at all of her friends and asked, "So what did you think?" Meredith looked at Callie and offered, "Derek would have been proud. It's gorgeous Cal." Callie hugged her friend and whispered, "Thank you." They all turned when they heard Zola ask, "Why is daddy's picture up here?" Callie went to the little girl and told her, "Your dad helped me on a very special project and he is part of the reason I was able to make robotic limbs and prosthetics so I wanted to always remember why I was able to open this center." Zola nodded, looked at her father's picture for a little longer, then went to stand by her mom. Meredith hugged her children tightly then tried to turn the focus back on Callie and asked, "What did the rest of you think?"

Christina shrugged and replied, "Enh, it's okay for bones and stuff." Bailey looked around proudly and declared, "I knew you had it in you. You did good Callie." Richard stepped up, put his hand on Callie's shoulder and said, "I remember, oh maybe ten years ago, this cocky resident yelling at me that she was a superstar with a scalpel and I would rue the day I didn't give her an attending position." He shook his head and declared, "I'm proud of you Torres and I'm damn glad I gave you that position. You did earn it at the time and I shouldn't have been so caught up in my own mess that I almost passed up one of the most talented surgeons I've ever known." Callie had tears in her eyes when she looked at her former chief and he pulled her into a tight hug then whispered, "You've come a long way from living in a hospital and dancing in your underwear." Callie laughed and reminded him, "You said you were never going to mention that again." He nodded and replied, "So I did."

Karev being Karev asked, "When are we leaving? I'm starving." Everyone asked, "What's new?" Alex shrugged and Richard suggested, "Let's head back to the hotel, get changed, then we'll be by at around 7 o'clock?" Callie nodded and asked, "How did you all get here?" Bailey responded, "Your dad loaned us one of the hotel vans so we didn't have to come in several vehicles, and Addie and Jake drove with the kids in their rental car." Addie spoke up, "We brought clothes to change into, so why don't we just head over with you and bring the kids with us?" Meredith nodded her agreement and Arizona suggested she and Callie take the girls and they take the boys. Callie turned to Maria and Lorraine and asked, "You're coming right?" Maria shook her head and answered, "I need to check with Miguel, I don't think he's too happy with me right now." Callie laughed and Lorraine asked, "Is it okay for Kim to join us?" Callie furrowed her brow and responded, "Of course! She's family." Lorraine nodded and replied, "We'll head over as soon as our shift is over." Saying goodbye, they all headed out the door and piled into their respective vehicles.

Once they got to the house, Callie dropped Arizona and the girls off then headed to the grocery store, deciding it would be way too much for all of them to go into the store at once and the kids were getting restless. Jake and the kids went straight for the pool, leaving Addison and Arizona sitting in the shade under the umbrella on the patio. Addison took a sip of her wine and declared, "You know, you could have given me a heads up about the whole floor dedication thing." Arizona laughed and responded, "Then it wouldn't have been a surprise." Addison laughed with her and answered, "Well it most certainly was a shock. Thank you Arizona, I'm truly honored." Arizona sipped her lemonade and returned, "You saved both of my girls that day and even with everything that happened, I couldn't imagine my life without them." Addison raised her glass and said, "It's why we do what we do, just like you said." Arizona nodded and looked over at her daughter playing in the pool. She was the same age as those babies she worked on today and it still amazed her how strong her daughter was to survive all that.

Addison cleared her throat and asked, "So…speaking of making you a mother…" Arizona smiled and responded, "Yes, we tried, both times." The redhead laughed and asked, "Why doesn't that surprise me?" Arizona deadpanned, "I have no idea." Both women laughed again and Arizona explained, "I'm pretty sure I was at my peak Sunday morning when I checked. My LH reading was 55.4 after Callie gave me the trigger injection on Saturday." Addie set her wine glass down and commented, "That's pretty high." Arizona nodded, knowing what her friend was suggesting, and asked, "When should I take the last shot?" Addison thought about it for a moment and answered, "I'd say tomorrow morning would be your best bet, you'll want at least 24 hours since the last insemination." Arizona agreed, "That's what I figured." Then she added, "Thank you so much, for everything. Needless to say, we aren't telling anyone yet, even our parents." Addison nodded and said, "Mum's the word." Arizona laughed and she lifted her glass this time, adding, "That's the plan." Realizing the unintended pun, Addison laughed as well. She stood up and took off her cover up and decided, "I'm going to go cool off for a while. Should I have Jake start the grill?" Arizona stood up and started toward the house and replied, "That would be awesome, if he doesn't mind." Addie snorted, "Like he has a choice," then went to ask her husband to get the charcoal going.

When Callie walked into the house with both hands full of plastic bags, she almost dropped them to the floor when she saw Arizona standing at the kitchen island wearing her red bikini top and a pair of cut off jean shorts she'd never seen before. She watched while her wife shook her hips to the music that was blaring through the back yard and felt her mouth go dry. Quietly putting the bags down, she snuck up behind her unsuspecting wife and snaked her arms around her middle instantly picking up the rhythm of her hips. Arizona jumped and dropped the knife she was holding when she felt someone coming up behind her. She turned in her wife's arms and noticed she had lost the vest, untucked and opened the top three buttons of her shirt, and rolled up the sleeves, , swallowing thickly she offered, "You look hot." Not picking up the inuendo, Callie nodded and agreed, "I am, I need to change." Arizona pulled on the collar of her shirt, brushed their lips together and murmured, "No, you look HOT!" Callie pulled Arizona closer, smiled into the kiss and muttered, "Mmm thank you. You look hot too." Arizona moaned when she felt Callie's tongue glide against hers and wrapped her arms around her neck, keeping her in place while deepening the kiss.

Sliding her hands up and down the soft bare skin of Arizona's ribcage, Callie asked, "How about you come help me change and cool off a little?" Arizona started walking her backward and they both grunted when they hit an immovable force. They turned to see what could possibly be in the middle of their kitchen and found Addie standing with her hands on her hips glaring at them. She pulled them apart and commented, "I swear I'm going to turn the hose on you two. You're like a couple of dogs in heat." Arizona smirked and quipped, "Well, technically I am in heat…so…" Callie laughed at her wife's quick wit, wrapped her arms around her again, and replied, "She's gotcha there Ads." Addie narrowed her eyes, reached her hands between her two friends to physically pry them apart, pointed at Callie and ordered, "You, go change," then to Arizona and said, "You, stay." Callie complied and was halfway through the dining room when she heard Arizona actually growl at their friend and couldn't help but burst into laughter when her wife muttered, "I may be in heat but I'm not being a bitch." Addie laughed along with her and retorted, "Come on Kujo, I'll help you get everything ready for the grill." Arizona sneered at her and they both started laughing again and picked up the bags Callie abandoned on the floor.

Callie stood in the bedroom staring at herself in the mirror experiencing a slight bit of anxiety over her choice of swimwear. She knew her friends accepted her, but it was still nerve-wracking to her when she peeled back each layer and revealed herself even more. She looked at the black and red swim top that looked more like a sports bra and the matching mid-thigh board shorts and couldn't help but smile. This was who she was now and as long as her wife and daughter loved and accepted her, nothing else mattered. She pulled the red tank top over her head and went outside through the patio doors in their bedroom. When she turned the corner, all she could see was high flames shooting off the grill and Arizona's face on the other side.

Running over to see what was happening, she found Arizona staring at the grill in contempt with her sexy pouty lip poked out, holding what appeared to be a very burned very dry piece of…hot dog or sausage, she really couldn't tell. She took the tongs from her wife's hand and asked, "You still haven't mastered the grill huh?" Arizona scoffed, "The gas grill yes, but you insist on having this…this…antiquated charcoal thing where you can't regulate the temperature and it's…stupid." Callie chuckled, walked behind Arizona, wrapped her hands around her middle and whispered in her ear, "How about I give you a private lesson?" Arizona shivered at the sensation, relaxed in her wife's arms and whimpered, "Yes, please." Callie nipped at her earlobe and explained, "It's not hot enough yet. It's like a new relationship, it's all flame but no real heat." She rubbed her hands up and down Arizona's stomach skimming the curve of her breast as she raised her hands and dipping her fingertips into the loose waistband of her shorts on the downward stroke. Callie could feel Arizona melt into her touch and continued, "You need to wait for the flames to die down, the instant attraction to subside before you get any real heat." They both stared into the fire and watched while the flame slowly subsided and the charcoals glowed orange and red in color. Callie poked at the hot coals, licked the shell of Arizona's ear and whispered, "This is where the real passion is, you have to tend to it, give it room to grow and spread." Arizona leaned all her weight into Callie's body, lowered her hands to caress her firm muscular thighs and groaned in pleasure when Callie's fingers dipped even lower and brushed across the top of her mound through the small patch of curls.

Callie put the stick down, splayed her hand on Arizona's abdomen just high enough that her thumb and forefinger could skate across increasingly tight nipples, sucked on Arizona's pulse point and whispered, "But it's still not hot enough. Cooking with charcoal is a perfect marriage of give and take, you can't regulate it, you can't control it, you have to be patient, if you put something on too soon, it will burn on the outside and be cool and unfinished on the inside. If you wait too long, the heat dies down and everything is left cold and raw." She kissed along one pale shoulder blade that was warm from the hot sun beating down on it, across to the other side, licked up her long sleek neck, tasting the saltiness from the small beads of sweat starting to form and continued, "When you get it just right, when everything comes together all at once, the heat, the passion, the timing, you end up with something so moist, so delicious, so perfect, you want to savor it, make it last, let the flavor linger on your tongue." Arizona was so turned on right now, she didn't care if anyone ate or not and she could tell Callie was in the same boat because she could feel her nipples hardening against her back. Callie reached for the tongs and carefully placed the steaks and chicken on the grill adding, "Now, now is the perfect time. When you feel the heat and hear the sizzle. Now is when everything comes together."

Unbeknownst to the newlyweds, they had drawn a crowd of spectators. When the doorbell rang, Addison called out to tell them someone was here but got absolutely no response, not even a twitch to let her know they heard her. She went into the house, let her friends in, escorted them through to the kitchen and offered, "Beer and wine is in the fridge and snacks are on the table outside." Meredith asked, "Where are Callie and Arizona?" When they stepped onto the patio, Addison pointed to the large grill that sat on the cement slab in front of the pool house and responded, "Cooking dinner, but I can't tell you which is getting more heated up, them or the food." From this perspective, no one could see Callie's hands or hear what she was saying, to them it just looked like the two women were standing at the grill with Arizona wrapped in Callie's arms. Bailey observed, "They look different." Richard agreed, "They look peaceful, happier than I've ever seen them." April offered, "They found true forgiveness this time. You can see it in the way they look at each other. There's nothing haunting them, no skeletons waiting to pop up at them." Meredith nodded and added, "I could see this coming." Bailey snorted and responded, "No kidding, you took me for a hundred bucks." Meredith shook her head and looked around at the house and the yard and clarified, "No, before Cal even came out here, the night before the verdict in the custody hearing, she said something and I don't think she even caught it. But she said, 'How do I choose between the person I love and the person I love?' I kept my mouth shut because at the time they were so hostile toward each other and Torres seemed determined to escape and once she decides to do something, there's no changing her mind." Alex opened the bottle of tequila he brought with him, took a long swig, passed it off to Christina and answered, "Yeah, well right now it looks like she's determined to get in Robbins' pants." Christina passed the bottle to Mer and suggested, "I think they need to cool off." Addison waved for Jake to join them and agreed, "Oh yeah. They definitely need to take a dip."

With the exception of Richard who decided to get it on video, everyone slowly crept up behind the clueless couple. Miranda tapped Addison on her shoulder and silently pointed to her leg and nodded in understanding when the redhead whispered, "Waterproof." The chief was all for dousing her friends, but not at the cost of Arizona's pride or confidence. With one hand still tucked into Arizona's shorts, Callie guided her wife in flipping the meat with the other. They just finished turning the last steak and Callie opened her mouth to say something when she was grabbed from behind and felt herself being hoisted into the air and hollered, "What the fuck?" Arizona turned just in time to see Callie being hauled away by Jake, Alex, Christina, and Meredith, when she realized Addy, April, Matthew, and Miranda were coming for her. She tried to run away but was immediately captured and heard, "Time to cool off ladies.," before she found herself floating through the air and landing in the pool. Both women came up sputtering and looked up to see all their friends laughing at them and Richard holding his phone up recording the whole thing. Callie looked at Arizona, nodded, and they both turned to the camera and held up their middle fingers. Just to piss their friends off, Callie pulled her wife into a long sexy kiss, not coming up for air until they heard splashing and yelling all around them.

Richard sat on a lounger drinking a glass of lemonade, watching as all the surgeons splashed around the pool trying to dunk each other and messing around like a bunch of kids. There wasn't a single one of them that he didn't love as if they were his own child. It warmed his heart to see that even after all this time, deaths, divorces, shootings, plane crashes, car crashes, and everything else they've been through together, they could still find it within them to horse around and play. Hell…after all they'd survived, it was a wonder they could even pull themselves out of bed each day. He looked up when he felt a shadow cover him and saw that the Robbins' and Torres' had both joined him. Daniel looked down at the seated man whom he knew as his daughter's former chief and could see the pride on his face as he watched the group of people in the pool and offered, "You did a good job raising them Dr. Webber." Shocked by the Colonel's words, Richard looked up and replied, "You all raised the people, I just made them surgeons." Carlos added, "You made them world class surgeons and cared for them when we couldn't be there or didn't even know they were suffering." Richard looked back at his hospital family, there wasn't a surgeon in that pool who wasn't there for him when he needed them, and commented, "We took care of each other."

After dinner, Callie sat at the picnic table and watched all of her friends and family, old and new, interacting with one another. She couldn't help but go around the table and think about a special memory she shared with each person. She knew she still didn't want to go back to Seattle, but she was less worried about how they would all react to her now. She heard Arizona's lilting laugh from beside her as someone told a funny story and it reminded her of something she promised herself she would do if she ever got this opportunity. Clearing her throat she declared, "Um…I don't want to bring down the mood or anything, but I promised myself that I would do something if I ever had the chance." Everyone looked at her expectantly and she linked her hands with Arizona's and began, "Arizona and I have already talked this all through, obviously or we wouldn't be here, but…I just, I need to apologize to all of you for my behavior before I moved to New York. I wasn't myself for a long time and there were many reasons I left and didn't come back and to be quite honest, Penny was the least of them. But I just need you all to know how sorry I am for the way I hurt Arizona and brought most of you into my mess." Surprisingly, Christina was the first to speak up and replied, "I wasn't there and don't know everything that happened, but I get why you had to go. Sometimes we need a clean slate." Everyone around the table nodded their heads in agreement and Richard answered, "It takes a big person to admit that Callie and we can all see that the move was good for you and while we miss you both, it's clear that you both needed a new start, as individuals and as a couple." Everyone raised their glasses or bottles and toasted to the happy couple. Arizona kissed Callie on the cheek and whispered, "I'm so proud of you."

After a couple minutes of quiet reflection, conversation started back up again and everybody broke off into little groups carrying on their own conversations. Within ten minutes of cleaning up after dinner, Christina pulled another bottle of tequila out of a brown paper bag making everyone groan. She started pouring shots and nearly everyone bowed out except for Meredith, Maria, and Alex. Most of them were still feeling the effects of the wedding and Callie and Arizona used the excuse that they had to work early the next day. Seeing the party was about to get ramped up once again, the parents decided to make their way back to the hotel. Callie could see that her sister really didn't want to leave yet and offered, "Aria, stay here with us. You can either ride back to the hotel with the rest of them or crash here and we will take you back in the morning." Aria smiled brightly at the invitation and responded, "I'd love to stay. Thank you." Arizona, Sofia, and Callie hugged both sets of parents and said their good-byes since they would all be leaving in the morning and Callie walked them to the door.

While it was still light out, Kim, Miguel, April, Matthew, Jake, and even Richard joined the kids in an impromptu game of soccer using pool noodles as goals; Bailey, Callie, Lorraine, and Addie broke off into their own conversation, and Christina, Alex, Maria, and Meredith were downing shots and laughing at the looks on each other's faces. Arizona was in the kitchen pouring herself a glass of lemonade when she heard someone else come into the house. She was slightly surprised to see her sister-in-law standing on the other side of the island. Smiling politely, she asked, "Would you like another drink?" Aria shook her head and murmured, "No thank you." Taking another look at the other woman, Arizona recognized the jittery movements of her legs, the biting of her lower lip, and the nervous darting of familiar brown eyes and realized how uneasy she was about talking to her. Arizona took a drink, smiled genuinely this time, and commented, "Callie and Sofia do the same thing when they are nervous." She tilted her head as if silently asking a question and Aria blurted, "You don't like me." Arizona chuckled and responded, "They do that too." She turned and poured Aria a glass of lemonade and suggested, "Walk with me." The taller woman nodded and obediently followed. Based upon what her parents told her about her sister's wife, she readied herself for a good strong tongue lashing.

Arizona led Aria out onto the patio, linked their arms together and winked at her wife when she saw the arched eyebrow silently asking if she was okay. Once they got onto the walking path, Arizona stated, "I don't know you, I can't make a judgement based on the few times we've been together." Aria nodded and argued, "But you can make a judgement based on my absence." Arizona nodded and agreed, "Oh, I definitely don't like your behavior over the last ten years, but I don't know you well enough to judge your character based just on that alone. You were raised by the same people as Calliope and she is honest, loyal to a fault, giving, caring, compassionate, intelligent, and just beautiful inside and out. So, I have a hard time believing you wouldn't be the same." When they reached the fountain, Arizona turned on the lights, offered Aria a seat and continued, "Your loyalty fell with your mother rather than your sister. It's a hard line to cross. I can't judge or fault Lucia based on her actions alone for the same reason. She raised you both, so there is good in her. I struggle with her beliefs. I struggle with your choice. I lost my brother who was also my best friend a couple of years before I met your sister. I would give anything to see him again so I can't put myself in your shoes. I couldn't imagine him being alive somewhere in the world and me not wanting to talk to him."

Aria thought about the blonde's words and knew she couldn't argue, even if she wanted to, she already knew she was wrong and any reason she had, valid or not, was no excuse to ignore her sister, her family. Arizona looked down and took the shaky tan hand in hers and said, "I also couldn't go against my mother. I don't like it, but I get it Aria. I was the one who held Calliope when she cried for hours after your father called her an abomination and cut her off. I was the one who held her when she cried the entire night before our first wedding because your mom wouldn't even look at our daughter. I only know one side, our side, our experience. But if I learned anything from the last ten years, it's that forgiveness is key and letting go of the past, truly letting it go, that's the only way to move forward. So, that's what we do." Aria looked down at their joined hands and asked, "It's that simple?" Arizona laughed and asked, "Your mom and dad had you deathly afraid of me didn't they?" Aria laughed with her and proclaimed, "I don't think you understand…no one, and I mean no one has ever challenged either of my parents nor spoken to them the way you have." Arizona smiled and answered, "I understand, I just didn't care because Calliope and Sofia's feelings and well-being come before anything else." Aria nodded and replied, "I think that's why they love and respect you so much." Arizona took a drink of her lemonade, popped her dimples, batted her eyes, and quipped, "It's hard not to, I'm adorable." Aria threw her head back and laughed, answering, "And that right there is why my sister fell for you isn't it?"

Both women jumped when they heard Callie respond, "That is exactly the reason." Callie looked down and felt her heart jump when she saw that her sister and her wife were holding hands. She was happy to see they were getting along but teasingly glared at her sister, reached down to separate their hands, scooted herself between the two women and told Aria, "It's one thing to accept my wife, it's a whole other thing to hit on her." Both Arizona and Callie laughed when Aria sputtered, "I wasn't I swear…we were just…" She trailed off when she realized her sister was joking and hit her in the arm. Callie put her arm around Arizona and Aria asked, "What are you two, each other's bodyguards or something?" Before either of them could answer, they heard Sofia calling out, "Mommy, Aunt April is looking for you." Aria scoffed and said, "Oh and here comes the pit bull." Sofia stopped short when she turned the corner and saw both of her parents and her Tia Aria all squished on the same bench. She tilted her head much like Arizona did earlier and Aria couldn't help but look at her sister and tease, "I swear she looks like you but acts like her." Callie smiled at her daughter and answered, "We wouldn't have it any other way. Come on, let's join the party, everybody's only here until tomorrow and I want you to get to know them."

Everybody cheered when they saw Callie and Arizona emerge with Aria and Sofia and Alex teased, "Oh thank God, we thought you two snuck off somewhere and I don't think my back could handle tossing you in the pool again." Callie and Arizona looked at one another and smirked, seeing what they were thinking, everyone else got up and surrounded the surly man, easily lifting him and tossing him in the pool. What they didn't expect was for Christina to loose her footing and fall in with him grabbing for Meredith, who grabbed onto Callie, and eventually the whole group, including Aria was in the pool again because of the domino effect. All of the kids stood at the side of the pool cheering their parents on when it became a big game of who can dunk who first. Deciding she'd had enough and not wanting to push the limits on her leg, Arizona got out of the pool, dried off and went to sit by Richard. The older man looked at the blonde and could see the happiness shining from her eyes and asked, "It wasn't a catastrophe now was it?" Arizona smiled at her dear friend and responded, "No, it's pretty beautiful."

A/N: First and foremost, thank you Mondlerfandkay for the inspiration for this chapter, both in your suggestions and also in helping me over my little block. Between trying to open my classroom, meeting the parents, and trying to get so many personalities into one chapter, my mind froze up for a minute but the girls talked to me all day today and told me what they wanted to do.

I hope this chapter meets all of your expectations and thank you all for the love and great reviews.
