I asked something anguished, "is there someone there?" ask desperate
"Quiet Humphrey there is no reason to fear" said the voice so reassuringly
"Who are you and where are you?" I asked as I tried to find the origin of the voice
"Who am I? It's a complex question, you probably would never fully understand my nature" said the voice
"Try me," I said seriously
"You are determined, I like that" said the voice
In that moment I saw a ball of light materialized
"This is my true form" said the voice
"What are you?" Ask completely puzzled
"I am a primal force of the world, which is in charge of keeping the world in balance," explained the voice
What? I ask confused
"I knew you were not going to understand" the voice said with a sigh, "I will try to simplify it for you, I am a kind of spirit, which has the mission to maintain the balance of good and evil in the world" I explain the voice
"I think I understand, but then, what do you need from me?" I asked
"I need your body and spirit, being a primal force I do not have physical form so I have no power in your world, but having a body that channels my entire being could fulfill my mission" explain
"My body?" I asked a little terrified, "What will happen to me?" I asked
"If your spirit is strong enough to support my presence, nothing will happen to you, it will be as if we both share a body, I would use it when I have to do my work and the rest of the time you can live your normal life" explained the voice
"What will happen if my spirit is not strong enough?" I asked seriously.
"You will be consumed by my presence and I will not be able to use your body, in simple words you will die" said the voice without any emotion
I swallowed nervously, "I never thought that this was about the power that was hidden in the mountain" I thought with concern
"Are you ready to start?" I asked
"Wait, do not I have to decide if I want to do this or not?" I asked quickly.
"You made that decision when you touched the sacred rock," the voice said seriously.
"But I did not know what this was all about," I said seriously.
"Everything was written on the rock, it's your fault for not reading it" the voice said seriously
"I could not read it; I do not know the language in which it is written" I said seriously
"Ignorance is not an excuse, it's time to start," the voice said seriously.
"Wait, do not do it," I asked scared, but I saw how the sphere of light approached me each time, I tried to run, but could not my body did not respond, when the sphere was in front of me it was introduced into chest causing pain indescribable which made me scream loudly, I felt that my whole interior was on fire, I suffered that for what seemed like whole days, but suddenly the pain stopped
"Congratulations, your spirit was strong enough" said the voice
"What now?" I asked as I recovered
"You will wait here until you are fully recovered, despite supporting my presence, your spirit suffered great damage, it must recover and adapt to my presence" explained the voice
"But I must go back to Kate" I said, but I did not get any response, "hello, are you still there?" I asked, but there was no answer
End of flash back, P.V. normal
Humphrey: "and that was until a few hours ago that voice came back, the next thing I knew I was here" I finished telling them
Lilly: "Wow, if it's a whole story" I said surprised
Humphrey: "I know and I know it's hard to believe, but that's what happened," I told them sincerely
Kate: "I believe you," I said sweetly
Humphrey: I smiled when I heard her say that
