Sein: "This will be interesting" I said to myself
Humphrey: "I challenge the best of you to fight with me, and if I win you will leave us alone" I said seriously
"What if we win?" asked one of the Pumas
Humphrey: "We will not resist and you can do whatever you want with us" I replied
"Well it will be an easy meal" the puma said mockingly
Garth: "I hope you know what you do" I said with seriousness and concern
Humphrey: "don't worry" I told them confidently as I took a couple of steps forward and got into an attack position
Sein: "Cougars are fast and strong, but they are quite aggressive and hasty, they always neglect their defense, you just have to dodge them and directly attack their jugular" I advised
Humphrey: "That is surprisingly good advice" I said surprised
Sein: "don't be so surprised, I'm hundreds of years old, I know some things" I said something offended due to his surprise
Humphrey: "I thought you didn't care," I said, but at that moment the cougar jumped against me, so I quickly rolled to the side to avoid it.
Sein: "You better focus on the fight" I said scolding him
Humphrey: "Yes, I know" I said annoyed while dodging the attacks of the cougar
"To be crazy, you are quite fast, but you cannot beat me just dodging" said the cougar seriously before continuing to try to slice Humphrey
Humphrey: "How many times have I told you that I'm not crazy?" I said annoyed as I deflected his right leg with my left leg, and then hit him in the face with my right leg, but the blow was stronger than I thought since it came out flying a couple of meters and fell unconscious, "What happened?" ask confused
Sein: "Your body became stronger due to my essence, now you have five times the strength you used to have" I explained.
Humphrey: "Why didn't you tell me before?" I asked annoyed
Sein: "I didn't think it was important" I said indifferently
Humphrey: "I almost killed that cougar" I said annoyed
Sein: "What has that? It was our enemy" I asked confused
Humphrey: "This time I was lucky, but I could have hurt someone close to me" I said seriously
Sein: "Accidents happen" I said with some indifference
Humphrey: I growled angrily due to his indifference
While Humphrey was arguing with Sein the cougars approached their partner to see how he was
"How is he?" asked one of the cougars
"He is alive, but it seems that he broke his jaw" replied the cougar who was checking him
"He did so much damage with just one blow, that wolf is dangerous" said one of the cougars seriously.
"Did we all attack him together?" asked another cougar
The first cougar shook his head and told them, "It is not worth risking more wounded, besides we will not gain anything if we do it, what we will do is escort them out of our territory, and only if necessary we will enter combat"
"It must be a joke; we should kill them" said one of the cougar annoyed
"Go ahead, fight with them, if you want to risk your life I do not care, but I will not risk the others" said the cougar as he stepped aside and left the way clear to the wolves
The cougar only growled as it lowered his head
"I thought so" said the cougar before turning to the wolves and saying, "You won fairly, we will fulfill our agreement to let them pass, but we will escort them until they leave our territory."
Garth: "How reassuring to be surrounded by cougars while we walk" I said sarcastically
"It is not so that they are calm, it is to make sure that they leave our territory" said another of the cougars seriously.
Humphrey: "Well we accept your conditions" I told them
Candu: "Are you sure about this?" I asked him with concern, "They could attack us at any time" I emphasized
Humphrey: "It's that or a fight here, which wouldn't be much better, but I'll be watching if they try something" I told him
Candu: "I suppose you're right" I said, still worried
Humphrey: "We follow you" I said, then I went to the others, "Omegas in the middle and the alphas will surround them, I will go in the back to be able to watch the whole group"
The wolves nodded and organized as Humphrey told them while the cougar said, "Well, follow me", then he turned to two cougars, "take him to check it out" he said while pointing to the unconscious cougar, the other cougars just nodded and they went to pick up their companion, while the others began to walk. After several minutes walking they were close to the exit of the pumas' territory, in general it was a quiet walk, although the tension in the environment was felt, "from that tree they will be out of our territory," said the cougar
Humphrey: I nodded and said "thank you"
At that moment the cougar that did not agree to let the wolves go saw an opening to attack Lilly, which he did not hesitate to take advantage of and jumped so quickly and suddenly that no one could react except for Sein who used Humphrey's body. I'd run in front of Lilly and grabbed the cougar's throat
Sein: "You made your last mistake" I said seriously, as I unsheathed my claws, digging them into his neck
"P-please p-please, f-f-forgive me" the cougar begged with the little breath he had left
Sein: "I'm not as generous as Humphrey, if you mess with mine, you will pay the consequences" I said seriously before crushing his windpipe killing him, then I threw his body to the side and looked seriously at the other cougars. "Who is the next one?" I asked them coldly
All the cougars took a couple of steps back while gulping nervously, as he was able to kill one of them with no apparent difficulty
"Get out of here, and never come back," said the cougar seriously as he pointed out of their territory.
Sein: "I thought so" I told them and before continuing walking, "I will kill whoever moves a single muscle while we leave this territory" I said seriously.
All the cougars were petrified, since in his eyes you could tell that he was being serious, even the wolves were surprised by his behavior
Sein: "Move" I said seriously
The wolves only limited themselves to nodding as they walked out of the territory, Sein had stayed last to make sure the cougars didn't try anything else. After they left the territory of the cougar's no one had said a single word, and Sein was still in charge of Humphrey's body, after ten minutes in silence Kate was encouraged to speak
Kate: "What was that?" I asked her puzzled.
Sein: "What do you mean?" I asked him without understanding what she meant
Kate: "You killed that cougar without mercy, and you were willing to kill the others" I said seriously
Sein: "He would seek, attacked first and I only replied," I said calmly
Kate: "You didn't have to kill him; you could have put us in greater danger" I said seriously
Sein: "If they had tried something I would have killed them all" seriously
Kate: "You can assure me that none of us would get hurt" I asked seriously
Sein: I shook my head and said "It is not something that I can assure one hundred percent, but some casualties would have been acceptable"
Kate: "that would not have been acceptable" I yelled annoyed
Sein: "Every battle has its risks for both sides, if I had not been it is possible that the cougars would have killed them" I said indifferently
Kate: "Nobody knows that" I said annoyed
Lilly: at that moment I got between the two of them and I said, "Stop fighting, you both have good points", I went to Kate and said "he is right, if he had not been, we would have had losses, including me, that cougar He was going to kill me, I saw it in his eyes ", then I went to Humphrey and said," I thank you for saving me, but Kate is also right, it was not necessary to kill him, the risk you put us was too much and not justified "I finally told them both," the important thing here is that we all got out of that situation alive, so forget what happened and apologize"
Sein: I smiled and said "I like your attitude" then I went to Kate and said, "Maybe I will be extra limiting, but I don't regret what I did, but at the request of the lady I ask you for a truce"
Kate: I growled annoyed, but there was no point in continuing to fight, it would not be easy to change his mentality, and I did not want his to get angry and take my Humphrey away, "It's okay truce" I said reluctantly
Lilly: "It's good that they stopped fighting" I said with joy
Kate: "Could you let Humphrey come back," I kindly asked

Lilly: "You only think that because he gets between you and Humphrey" I said
Kate: I sighed and said sadly, "That probably influences"
Lilly: "You should try to get along with him, whether you liked it or not, now he is part of Humphrey's life and if you want to be with him, you must accept it" I said
Kate: I sighed and said, "I know that, but it's difficult."

Kate: I nodded and said, "It's true"
Lilly: "come on, the sooner we get back the better" I said while pushing her tenderly

" I thought with sadness and resignation, at that moment I could see a shadow in the distance, I tried to get closer but little by little my vision was clouded, until everything went black
At that moment a figure approached Mia and began to drag her into the forest
A few hours later with Derrens and Driana
Derrens: we have run for hours, whenever we think we lost those hunters, they appear out of nowhere and shoot us, "I think this time we lost them" I said while looking around
Driana: "it was about time; I couldn't go on anymore" I told as I collapsed on the floor
Derrens: "We are close to my pack, but we cannot risk bringing those hunters close" I said seriously.
Driana: "What are we going to do?" asked
Derrens: "We will hide in this area for a couple of days, then we will continue to my pack" I explained.
Driana: "We can't afford that luxury, Max's wolves must still be looking for us," I said seriously.
Derrens: "We haven't seen them in days, and I can't take the risk that those hunters find out where my pack is" I said seriously
Driana: "Then let's speed up our pace and get there before they find us again" I said seriously.
Derrens: "Look at you, you are in no condition to continue, you will collapse at any moment, and I will not be able to carry you and escape from the hunters at the same time" I said seriously
Driana: "Do not judge me like that, I can continue" I said seriously
Derrens: "Show me, get up" I said seriously
Driana: with a lot of effort and determination I got up and said mockingly, "You see."
Derrens: "Yes, I see how your legs are shaking" I said while I saw how he could barely stand
Driana: "I can go on" I said firmly
Derrens: "NO, YOU CAN'T, IF WE FOLLOW THE HUNTERS THEY WILL BE ABLE TO REACH US AND COULD KILL YOU" I shouted seriously
Driana: "It's just a possibility, and if that happens, you could easily escape, I don't see what problem there would be in risking" I said annoyed
Derrens: "He won't be able to leave you behind" I said while I shook my head before starting to look for a place to take refuge and hide.
Driana: "But, nobody cares about me" I said confused as I watched him walk away, shortly after I ended up collapsing on the ground from exhaustion
