When the alarm went off in the early morning hours on Saturday, even beating the rising of the sun, Callie growled, rolled over onto her stomach, and covered her head with a pillow, grumbling, "Who set a damn alarm?" Arizona reached out, turned off her alarm, then sat up and prepared herself for the most difficult part of the entire surprise, getting her wife out of bed before sunrise on a weekend. Arizona had barely slept a wink; she knew some of that was due to the anxiety of getting on a plane, but most of it was from excitement. She couldn't wait to see Callie's face when they landed. She'd almost let it slip so many times this week, especially when Callie came home from work last night dead on her feet, declaring she missed her and felt like they hadn't spent any time alone together since they got married. Lifting the covers, Arizona took in all the delicious bare caramel skin and started kissing from the base of her spine upwards until she reached strong shoulders freckled from the sun. Straddling Callie's waist, Arizona leaned forward pressing her breasts against her back and began licking and nibbling her neck until the growls of displeasure turned into moans of pleasure. Arizona pulled the pillow away from her wife's head, nibbled on her earlobe, slipped both hands underneath Callie's body to fondle her breasts and whispered, "It's time to wake up baby." Though her body was starting to tingle and come to life, Callie's brain was still exhausted and she whimpered, "Did you seriously set an alarm to wake me up for sex?" Arizona continued to lick and nibble at Callie's neck and responded, "Not exactly, sex will be had…lots and lots of sex will be had, just not right now, and not if you don't get your sexy ass out of this bed." Callie wasn't sure if it was the early hour or if this was some sort of weird sexy dream, but none of it was making sense to her.

She turned around, careful not to throw her wife onto the floor, and once her eyes adjusted to being awake, she knew the moment she saw Arizona's face that she was scheming something in that beautiful brain of hers. Her cerulean blue eyes were dancing with excitement, her dimples were popping, and instead of that super-magic smile, she was wearing her mischievous 'I've got a secret' grin. On top of that, she was entirely too chipper for this early on a Saturday morning, even for her. Callie narrowed her eyes and asked, "What are you up to?" Arizona leaned forward, gave her a hard smacking kiss, sat up straddling her stomach and chirped, "You said I could plan the honeymoon. So I planned it. Now come on, we have to get moving." Callie ran her hands up and down strong muscular thighs and asked, "You planned our honeymoon? Just like that?" Arizona nodded her head, smiled proudly and said, "Yup!" Callie's hands continued to roam and she covered Arizona's breasts making her breath hitch and asked, "Aren't you forgetting something, like oh, I don't know, my schedule for next week? All the patients I need to see? Someone to stay with Sofia? Luggage?" Arizona leaned into Callie's touch while still trying to keep her head about her to remember the answers to the questions she was just asked.

Leaning forward, she flattened her palms on soft mocha nipples and started making slow circles as she responded, "Your schedule was a fake, Lorraine rescheduled all of your patients which is partially why this week was so full, my parents will be here within the hour to stay with Sof for the week, and a driver will be here to take us to the airport to your father's jet where I took our luggage yesterday on my lunch break." Callie just stared at Arizona, blinked a few times, then her mega-watt smile slowly began to bloom across her gorgeous face as she asked, "We're really going on our honeymoon? Now? Why? How?" Arizona leaned forward, brushed their lips together and explained, "This is part of the reason your party was so early, it just so happens that our one month anniversary and your 40th birthday fall on the same day, so I figured it would be the perfect time. But also, I wasn't certain if we would get pregnant on our first try, but if we did, I could only fly within the first 12 weeks and quite honestly, who wants to go on their honeymoon looking like a beached whale?" Callie giggled, smacked Arizona's hip and ordered, "Enough with the fat jokes, you're going to look amazing." Arizona continued, "Honestly, I just didn't want time to get away from us. We kept promising each other a honeymoon last time and it just never happened and we work hard and we promised to make time for us, so that's what we are going to do. I called your dad and asked for the plane and he was more than happy to help." Callie pulled Arizona down for a long languorous kiss and before it could get out of control, the blonde pulled back and whispered, "Now, if you're a good girl and get up right now, there might be time for shower sex." Arizona squealed when Callie scooped her up, carried her into the bathroom and plopped her down on the counter next to the sink, pulled out their toothbrushes, and said, "You could have led with that."

Once they were in the shower, Arizona pulled Callie in for a deep searing kiss, eliciting moans from both of them when skin touched skin and tongue danced with tongue. The blonde carefully backed up with Callie's assistance until she reached the bench, sat down and lifted one of Callie's legs to sit on the bench beside her. She licked her muscular leg from her knee to the juncture of her thigh and wasted no time teasing or taunting her wife. She darted her tongue out and lapped at Callie's clit making her reach out for the hidden safety bar with one hand and grip damp blonde curls with the other. Her hips were bucking and rolling with the rhythm of Arizona's tongue and she nearly screamed in relief when two fingers thrust into her opening, deep and hard and continued in the same quick pattern until her knees practically buckled. Feeling that her wife was close, Arizona wrapped her hand around Callie's waist to steady her, sucked hard on her clit and curled her fingers inward to hit her g-spot in just the right place, knowing it would make her fall apart. Callie opened her mouth in a silent scream, threw her head back and rode out her orgasm on Arizona's fingers until she could take no more. Finally she fell to her knees, rested her head on a strong pale thigh and tried to catch her breath.

Arizona ran her fingers through Callie's hair, reached up for the shampoo and started washing the thick short tuft of black curls. The brunette closed her eyes and moaned at the feeling of Arizona scratching her scalp, she always loved it when the blonde washed her hair and took care of her like this. It's not that she needed it or that she was a diva, it was just part of their love language, it was something they did for one another and she loved the intimacy of it. When the blonde finished rinsing her hair, Callie sat up on her knees, started to part Arizona's legs and asked, "What about you?" Arizona massaged the conditioner into Callie's scalp and responded, "We don't have time, I'll get my turn, I'm not worried." Callie reached up, pumped a few squirts of Arizona's shampoo in her hands and started to lather her hair up as well. While she was working the foam into her hair, she leaned in, brushed their lips together and asked, "Do we need to pack anything?" Arizona smirked and answered, "All taken care of." Callie chuckled and asked, "I'm not even going to get a hint am I?" Arizona held her head back for Callie to rinse her hair and returned, "Where's the fun in that?" Callie worked the conditioner into Arizona's hair and since it had to sit for a few minutes, she decided to have a little fun of her own. She reached up, took the showerhead from its holder and answered, "We wouldn't want you to miss out on your fun now would we?" Arizona eyed Callie, knowing exactly what she planned to do with it and at this point, she was so worked up, she couldn't even fight it, so she rested her head against the wall and let her legs fall apart.

Callie thought for sure Arizona would put up more of a fight until she opened her legs and saw just how wet she was. She knew this wasn't going to take long at all. Turning the setting to jet stream, she aimed it directly at Arizona's clit and watched her facial expressions and her body's reactions to being pleasured. It wasn't often she took the time to watch, she was usually so focused on what she was doing, but these rare occasions when she could just take it all in, the way her mouth fell open and her eyes slowly opened and closed as if they wanted to watch but just couldn't stay open because she was feeling too much, the way her breasts moved and swayed and especially the way her hips rolled as if she were chasing after her pleasure, as if it weren't coming fast enough. Deciding to help it along, Callie leaned forward and took a full plump breast into her mouth and flicked at the hard nipple with her tongue then reached down with her other hand and inserted two fingers ever so slowly and just held them still until Arizona started riding her hand. She husked out, "That's it baby, go get what you want. What do you want?" She then started on the other breast and bit down a little too harshly making Arizona cry out and move even faster until she finally collapsed in Callie's arms. While still holding her trembling body, Callie rinsed the conditioner from her hair, washed both of their bodies, then wrapped a towel around them and carefully stepped from the shower.

When they came out of the bathroom to get dressed, Callie sat Arizona on the vanity chair, handed over her prosthetic, then looked around, scratched her head and asked, "Uh where are we going?" Arizona giggled and replied, "Wear something comfy to travel in, I have outfits for us to change into when we get there." Callie stood in the middle of the bedroom bare naked with her hands on her hips giving what she considered her best Torres glare and Arizona blatantly eyed her from head to toe, licked her lips and responded, "Yeah, that look loses all of it's power when you're not wearing any clothes." Callie huffed and argued, "I already know we're going on our honeymoon, why can't I know where?" Arizona brushed out her hair and asked, "My outfit is sitting right inside the closet on the shelf, would you mind handing it to me?" Callie stalked to the closet reached inside, pulled out a very familiar looking Miami dolphins t-shirt and matching pair of sweats, got that little thrill like she always did when Arizona wore her clothes and asked, "This is your outfit?" Arizona smiled and responded, "Um…can I borrow your clothes?" Callie laughed and answered, "I should say no since you won't tell me where we are going." Arizona pouted and asked, "Please?" Callie rolled her eyes, tossed the sweats to Arizona, pulled out a Robbins-Herman Center T-shirt she got from the grand opening and paired it with some cargo shorts that were rather comfortable and asked, "How's this?" Arizona smiled at her wife and replied, "Perfect!"

When she was finished getting dressed, Callie went into the kitchen to start a pot of coffee and put the kettle on the stove for Arizona's tea as well. She wasn't sure if she should start breakfast or if Arizona had other plans, but she popped some bread in the toaster because she wanted something in Arizona's stomach. While waiting for the coffee to brew, she tried to figure out what on earth her wife had planned. Maybe they were going to Fiji to Arizona's cousin's timeshare or to Spain, they never got to Spain. There were so many plans they had that they never followed through with. While they were gone, she wanted to talk about that, taking a family vacation, doing some of the things they never did. As soon as Arizona emerged from the bedroom, she heard a soft knock on the door and figured it was her in-laws. Callie poured them all a cup of coffee with the exception of Arizona who gladly accepted her cup of tea and toast and wondered if the elder Robbins would ask why the queen of caffeine wasn't drinking coffee. She had no idea what they would tell them. After a few minutes of catching up, just as she'd expected, Barb asked Arizona why she was drinking tea. Arizona quickly responded, "Nervous tummy," and both of her parents looked at her sympathetically and seemed to understand and accept that answer without any further explanation, which Callie realized they figured it was from their impending flight. She knew for certain Arizona wouldn't have told her parents about the babies yet, specifically because Barb would be over the moon about it and surely would have mentioned it by now.

Apparently, all the noise woke their daughter and Sofia stumbled into the dining room with her hair sticking up all over the place, looked at her mommies and said, "Good, you're not gone yet. I wanted to say goodbye." Callie narrowed her eyes at her daughter, pulled her into a hug and tickled her, asking "What do you know? Give it up. Tell mama the secret!" Sofia giggled and ran to stand behind Arizona and declared, "She wouldn't tell me anything! I just know you're going away and grandma and grandpa are staying here while you're gone." Callie eyed her daughter suspiciously, held out her little finger and asked, "Pinky swear?" Without hesitation, the little girl went to her mama and attached their little fingers together and said, "Pinky swear!" Callie took a sip of her coffee and warned, "If I find out you kept something from me…" Sofia cut her off and explained, "Mommy said I am a big gossip like daddy and I can't keep a secret, that's why neither of you tell me anything." Callie laughed, that was the truth, Mark was the biggest gossip she knew next to her daughter. When Arizona heard another car pull up, she put her cup down and exclaimed, "Ooh, that's us! We'll see you when we get back. All the numbers you need are on the fridge and if you happen to need someone to watch her for any reason, Maria or Jordyn have already agreed to be back up, their numbers are there too. Love you." Sofia followed them to the door, hugged them both and asked, "Will you bring me back a surprise?" Both women laughed and Callie assured her, "We will bring you back all kinds of surprises and we will try to call every night." Sofia kissed them both on the cheek and promised to be good then waved until the car pulled out of the driveway.

Once they got in the car, Arizona did her best to remain calm, but it was getting more difficult the closer they got to the airport. She really didn't want to make this about her and she couldn't even take one of the anxiety pills she normally took because it could harm the babies. The most she could do was take the diclegis Addison prescribed for nausea to help her sleep. But she didn't want to do that either. Looking next to her, she realized there was something she could do that she'd never done before; she'd never relied on her wife before, she'd never shared this fear with her. They were both sitting on opposite sides of the car holding hands and Callie was looking out the window. Unbuckling her seatbelt, Arizona scooted over to the middle, fastened her seatbelt, and cuddled as close to her wife as she could. Just feeling Callie closer to her made her relax slightly.

When Arizona moved closer to her, Callie realized her anxiety was getting the best of her. Lifting one arm to wrap around Arizona's shoulders and taking both of her hands with the other, she kissed her forehead, then her temple, then nibbled on her earlobe and whispered, "Honey, this was amazing and just the fact that you…" Arizona put her finger over Callie's mouth and demanded, "No! No, you are not giving me an out. What happened to me was awful and terrible and yes it's terrifying, but it's also tolerable now and I want to do something for my wife, with my wife, like a normal couple and this isn't going to get in the way and it's not going to be about me. For once…just…for once, please let it not be about me. It's already easier knowing I have you with me. We are going to pretend that this little thing didn't just happen and enjoy ourselves okay?" Callie smiled, leaned in, murmured against Arizona's lips, "What didn't happen?" and proceeded to make both of them forget until they felt the car stop and they both looked up, breathing heavily, and saw that they were not only at the airport, but they were also on the tarmac next to the Torres jet.

When the driver opened the door to let them out, they were immediately met by the captain and crew introducing themselves and congratulating them on their recent marriage. Arizona immediately recognized the captain as the same one who flew them from Seattle to New York and her anxiety instantly went down a little more because she trusted him. She reached out to shake his hand and greeted, "It's nice to see you again Captain Crutchfield." The man smiled and asked, "Is it safe to call you Mrs. Torres now?" Arizona chuckled and responded, "Actually we decided to hyphenate, we are both Dr. Robbins-Torres." The man shook his head and claimed, "Well that won't be confusing at all. We have loaded the luggage you dropped off yesterday, have everything you've asked for set up inside along with a few extras, compliments of Mr. and Mrs. Torres." He then held out his hand for both of them to board the plane. As they were climbing up the stairs, Callie asked, "What was that Mrs. Torres comment about?" Arizona giggled and explained, "That's the same pilot who flew us from Seattle and he called me Mrs. Torres, apparently your father told him he would be flying his granddaughter and daughter-in-law, so he just assumed I'd taken your name." Callie nodded her head in understanding and for some reason she couldn't understand, appreciated the fact that her father never stopped seeing Arizona as family.

When they entered the plane, the captain told them they would be leaving soon and an air hostess would be out in a few minutes to go over some mandatory instructions with them. Callie looked around and saw bouquets of orchids, roses, and gerbera daisies, trays of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, and crackers, wine, and sparkling grape juice, then she turned to Arizona and asked, "You really went all out didn't you?" Arizona sidled up to Callie, wrapped her arms around her neck and answered, "I really did. I wanted this to be special for both of us." Callie wrapped her arms around Arizona's waist and murmured, "It's already special and we haven't even left the ground. This is amazing baby." She nibbled on Arizona's bottom lip and just as they were about to deepen the kiss, they heard someone clear their throat and they broke apart.

Both women took a seat on the small sofa so they could sit close to each other but still have their seatbelts on and listened to the hostess as she went through her speech about emergency protocol. Callie wrapped one arm around Arizona's shoulders and held tightly to her hand and could feel the stress and tension building in her body and though she promised not to say anything, she didn't promise not to support her. They hadn't flown together since the accident; they hadn't even spoken about the accident until recently, so she had no idea what to expect. When the woman, Brandy, was finished, she explained she would be in her quarters in the front and they could just pick up the phone if they needed anything, otherwise she was given instructions not to interrupt them. Once Brandy returned to the front of the plane, Captain Crutchfield came over the speaker and announced, "Good morning again Doctors Robbins-Torres and congratulations on your recent nuptials. It looks like a beautiful day to fly; our flight is approximately 2,235 miles and our estimated arrival time is 12:00 pm at our final destination. Once we are in the air and the seatbelt lights go off, feel free to move about the cabin. We are next in line for take-off."

Callie narrowed her eyes at Arizona and asked, "So it's a five hour flight?" Arizona shrugged and answered, "If we land in the same time zone." Callie whined, "Come on Arizona, give me a little hint." Arizona looked up to the ceiling, tapped her lip, smirked and responded, "It starts with an 'S' and ends with an 'E'." Callie furrowed her brows and tried to think of places she knew then asked, "Seattle? We're going to Seattle for a honeymoon?" Arizona shook her head and responded, "God no." Callie realized they were moving now and saw that Arizona didn't seem to notice. She remembered Meredith telling her once that taking off and landing was the hardest part, so she tried again, "Syracuse? No, we wouldn't need a plane for that." Arizona giggled; this was going to be fun. Callie could feel them lift off, thought really hard and rattled off, "Scottsdale, Spokane, Santa Fe." Arizona chuckled, shook her head, "Nope, nope, and nope." Callie looked out the window and could barely see the ground now and huffed, "Shawnee, St. Augustine, Sault St. Marie!" Arizona tilted her head and answered, "No, no, and how the hell do you know that many cities that start with 'S' and end with 'E'?" Callie honestly didn't know but thanked God she did because her wife was completely at ease right now but she chalked it up to her teen years and reminded her wife, "Uh, I'm the nerd who used to chew on my hair and took myself to prom." Arizona shook her head, she could never imagine her wife as anything other than the beautiful person that she was and answered, "The word that you were looking for old wise one was 'surprise'. I'm not telling you where we are going because it is a surprise! So just sit back and relax and wait for take-off."

Callie smirked at Arizona and just stared at her for a moment to see if she would figure it out. Arizona noticed the way Callie was looking at her and it was starting to freak her out so she narrowed her eyes and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that creeper?" Callie unfastened her seatbelt and Arizona immediately reached for it and demanded, "Put that back on! That's not even funny Calliope." Callie took her hands to keep her still, unfastened her seatbelt, scooped her up into her lap and soothed, "Honey, we've been in the air for about ten minutes now. It's okay, see, the light is off." Arizona looked up and sure enough the light was off and she dared to look out the window and saw nothing but clear blue sky and let out the breath she'd been holding since she got on the plane. She leaned her head on Callie's shoulder and whispered, "Thank you." Callie chuckled and asked, "For trying to figure out where we were going?" Arizona smiled, kissed her cheek and responded, "For keeping me busy during take-off. But I still can't figure out how you know that many cities." Callie laughed and admitted, "Mer once told me taking off and landing was the hardest part for her and I could feel how anxious you were getting. When I realized we were moving and you didn't notice, I was really digging trying to find cities." Arizona laughed, kissed her softly, looked at the table full of food and hinted, "Your babies are hungry." Callie laughed and asked, "It's a little early to start that don't you think?" Arizona shrugged, brushed their lips together and tried, "How about, your very thoughtful wife who planned this amazing honeymoon is hungry?" Callie kissed her forehead and answered, "Either way, I will feed you. A hangry Arizona is not a pleasant Arizona." The blonde swatted her shoulder and knew she couldn't say anything because that was the absolute truth.

Since neither of them wanted to get up, Callie scooted them closer to the table where the majority of the trays of food were, made them a plate to share and balanced it on Arizona's lap. Popping a grape into the blonde's mouth, Callie asked, "Tell me something I don't know." Arizona chewed her grape, held a chocolate covered strawberry to Callie's lips, licked the excess juices from her chin then asked, "What?" Callie licked the chocolate from Arizona's fingers, fed her a piece of melon and explained, "You got to ask the questions on our road trip, tell me something about Arizona that I don't know." Arizona thought for a minute while she was chewing, fed Callie a piece of shrimp, and answered, "Well, the Robbins-Herman center probably wouldn't exist if it weren't for the fact that I lost a patient I got really attached to. I took three days off, sat in my pajamas and ate Ben and Jerry's trying to figure out how I could stop mother's from dying while giving birth. That's when I started my research on the maternal mortality rate in the US. I was standing in the hall of the hospital talking one day and saw someone running by with a crash cart, grabbed the intern who was standing next to me and told him to get me one of those, he did, we gutted it and filled it with everything you'd need in a delivery room if the mom started crashing and well…here we are." Callie fed Arizona a piece of pineapple, leaned in and licked the juices from her lips, brushed their lips together and replied, "Mmm, well I am very sorry for your patient but I am extremely happy your brain works the way it does, otherwise you may not be here." Arizona caressed Callie's face and reminded her, "I made my decision to move out here for Sofia, before the idea of the center was even presented to me and the fact that I am sitting here, right now, going on my honeymoon with you is because of what I found when I got here. It's because of the love we share, the love we've always shared." Callie put the plate aside, pulled Arizona in for a long slow kiss, moaned when their tongues slid against one another and relished in the fact that they had this time alone together.

When the kiss came to its natural end, the two women sat cuddled together on the couch for a while and Callie could feel herself starting to nod off. Looking down, she noticed Arizona was also completely relaxed and looked as though she could fall asleep at any moment. With Arizona still in her arms, Callie stood up and walked them toward the bedroom. Once in the room, she gently closed the door and carried her wife to the bed. When she reached down to remove Arizona's leg, pale hands flew down to stop her and while she thought the old fears and insecurities surrounding the leg would come back, she looked up into anxious blue eyes and understood when her wife whispered, "Just in case. I just…just in case." Callie nodded, climbed under the covers next to Arizona and let out a contented sigh when her wife instantly curled into her. Arizona slipped her hand underneath Callie's shirt and started tracing designs on her abdomen while Callie stroked her back with the tips of her fingers. Snuggling in closer, without prompting, Arizona speculated, "It might be why it gets swollen and hurts so badly afterward. My scientific brain and all the therapy I've had and coping skills I've learned, all tell me differently and I know the odds are slim to none that it will happen again, but I get on a plane and my biggest fear is finding myself in the woods again with one leg, unable to walk, unable to help myself, protect myself or others." Callie wrapped her other arm around her wife and just let her talk, she wasn't sure if this was the best topic at this time or if this was exactly what Arizona needed, but it seemed as if the more she talked, the more she relaxed.

Arizona realized Callie was just listening to her, she wasn't trying to convince her it wouldn't happen again or ask her any questions, but she just listened to her talk and it made all the difference in the world. When she felt Callie's soft lips on her forehead, she asked, "Can we talk about something different?" Callie was now rubbing Arizona's stomach as well and answered, "We never really got much of a chance to talk about this, especially after our visit with Addie. Do you…do you want to talk about it or…is it?" Arizona knew what Callie was about to ask and finished, "Is it too soon? No, I don't think it is. I want to talk about it. There's a tiny human growing inside me and more than likely two. What I learned from last time was a loss is a loss whether you talk about it or not and neither of us handled it well. Last time, it's almost like it wasn't real yet. I think we were both too afraid to talk about it. I want it to be real, I want them to be real, I want to talk about them." Callie smiled, splayed her hand protectively on Arizona's abdomen and admitted, "I see them sometimes when I close my eyes." Arizona smiled, covered Callie's hand and linked their fingers then asked, "Will you tell me what you see?"

Callie thought for a minute, chuckled and responded, "I see that we are going to have our hands full for one." Arizona laughed and responded, "That's a given, but what do they look like?" Callie kissed her temple and conjured the image that was almost ingrained in her mind now and started, "When I think about them, I'm in the back yard watching these two chubby little boys with ice blue eyes, unruly white blonde hair with deep dimples and your smile but they have Mark's complexion and maybe his nose, and those little lines he would get by his eyes like Sofia does when she smiles. I don't know much about Timmy, but from the stories you and your mom have told, he sounds a lot like Mark. The good parts, funny, smart, loyal, and they would just be full of mischief and always trying to trick people because they would be identical. I can just see that little Robbins' smirk on their faces whenever they did anything wrong, but between the Robbins and Sloan charm, they'd be so damn lovable you couldn't help but to not scold them for whatever they did." Arizona had tears in her eyes from Callie's description. She could see it so clearly and just couldn't wait for that day. Callie heard a sniffle and apologized, "I'm sorry, did talking about Timmy make you sad?" Arizona shook her head and responded, "Just the opposite. I can see it so clearly and I just can't wait for that day."

While expanding on the picture in her mind, Arizona tilted her head and asked, "What if one of them is a girl?" Callie chuckled and replied, "I'd run for the hills." Arizona hit her shoulder and scolded, "That's not very nice!" Callie sat up on her elbow and explained, "Honey, if we have a girl, she will look exactly like you and I have a hard enough time saying no to adult you. There's no way I could be the bad cop with a tiny you. One pop of those little dimples or flash of those eyes and I'd just be a big ole puddle of goo lying in the middle of the floor. I could see it now, 'What do you want to do today? Take over the world? Okay, let mama go build you a ray gun in her lab." Arizona laughed but only because she knew the truth in that statement. Sofia looked so much like Callie it was ridiculous and she had a hard time saying no to her because of it. It also made her miss her ex-wife that much more while they were apart. Arizona brushed her lips against Callie's and suggested, "She'll probably end up acting just like you anyway." Callie thought about how much like Arizona Sofia was, especially when she was younger and responded, "You're probably right, I might have a fighting chance." Both women chuckled then Callie said, "Honestly, it doesn't matter as long as all three of you are healthy."

Arizona yawned, she was getting tired but enjoying the conversation and asked, "Do you want to know this time?" Callie thought about it for a moment and responded, "You know, I think I do. If for no other reason than we have to buy double of everything…possibly, I just think it makes sense." Arizona replied with a simple "hmmm" and Callie looked down to see her wife was nearly asleep. She kissed her on the forehead and snuggled closer and was asleep within minutes. Both women fell asleep with the image of Sofia trying to save Tobin from their twin boys who were chasing him around the yard trying to catch his tail.

XXXX

Before they knew it, they were awoken by the buzzing of the phone next to the bed. Arizona's eyes opened and slowly came into focus then realized the noise was coming from the phone. When she picked it up, she was informed they had 45 minutes before they were to land and she was being called as requested. She thanked the caller and hung up the phone. She turned to find Callie sitting up on her elbow looking at her, eyes still red and puffy from sleep. Rubbing her hand over her face, Callie asked in her deep husky voice, "Who was that?" Arizona yawned, stretched, and responded, "It was the captain, I asked him to let me know when we had 45 minutes left before we landed so we could shower and get ready." Callie perked up and asked, "We're almost there?" Looking around for a clock or her phone, she asked, "What time is it?" Arizona got off the bed, stretched again, went to the linen closet, pulled out two towels and answered, "It's time for you to get your sexy ass into the shower." Callie stood up and said, "That's the second time you've said that today." Arizona shrugged and responded, "Not my fault your ass is sexy." Callie chuckled and followed her wife into the small bathroom.

Once they got out of the shower, both women wearing only a towel, Callie asked, "Uh, what are we supposed to wear and why do I feel like I'm experiencing deja vu except for the shower sex?" Arizona chuckled, tapped Callie's cheek and replied, "I think you'll live." She crossed the room to the closet, pulled out a small carry on suitcase and handed Callie a pile of clothes and a pair of shoes. After putting on her own bra and panties, she returned to the closet and took out a pale blue sundress with spaghetti straps made of a light fabric that fell midthigh and slipped on a pair of white sandals. Arizona turned around to ask Callie how she looked only to find that her wife was so busy watching her get dressed, she was still standing in her towel holding the pile of clothes she was given. Striding over to stand in front of Callie, she took the clothes from her hands and asked, "Do you need a little help getting dressed Calliope?" Callie shook herself from her lustful haze and stared at her wife for a moment before asking, "Did you say something?" Arizona giggled and asked, "Why aren't you dressed yet?" Callie blushed slightly and asked, "Umm have you seen you?" Arizona leaned up on her tiptoes and responded, "No, but I've seen you and what's under that towel and I really don't want to embarrass ourselves in front of the captain who happens to work for your father, so put your clothes on please." Callie groaned then did as she was asked.

When she was finished, she walked up behind Arizona who had just finished putting her hair up in front of the mirror and remarked, "I take it we are going someplace hot?" Arizona turned to look at her in the new outfit she just bought for her and commented, "Mmm very hot! Do you like it?" Callie looked at the white racerback tank top, tan cargo shorts that reached midthigh, and tan Teva sandals, stuck her hands in her pockets, turned to one side, then the other and replied, "Yeah, you did really good. This is extremely comfortable and I love the shoes." Arizona smiled and responded, "I'm not too proud to admit Jo and Stevie helped me out quite a bit. I mean, I know your style and what you like, I just wanted to make sure, get their stamp of approval." Callie took Arizona in her arms and said, "You did amazing, thank you." She nibbled on Arizona's top lip and moaned when her tongue was instantly sucked into her mouth and deepened the kiss. Arizona brought her hands up to run through Callie's short damp curls and both women moaned when the captain announced they had 10 minutes until they needed to take their seats to prepare for landing. They broke apart and Arizona quickly cleaned up while Callie fixed her hair.

Once they made their way back out to the main cabin, Callie noticed everything had been cleaned up and all the shades on the windows had been pulled down so she couldn't see outside. She turned and looked at Arizona and asked, "Seriously?" Arizona winked at her and smiled her best dimpled smile. Both women took their places back on the sofa and Arizona cuddled into Callie and asked, "Where do you think we are?" Callie feigned irritation and huffed, "Well since you took away the phones and clocks, had the windows covered so I can't see outside, and I have no idea how long we slept and only know its noon wherever we are, and it's hot…I really don't know. Spain maybe? I don't know how long that flight is. Hawaii? The Caribbean Islands? I'm pretty sure you didn't bring me to Miami or California. If you brought me to Las Vegas, that just isn't funny." Arizona started laughing, "No honey, I would not bring you to Las Vegas." Callie narrowed her eyes and asked, "So we are in one of the other places? Oooh, is it Spain?" Arizona shook her head and replied, "Nope, not Spain." They felt a little bump and Arizona jumped and nearly climbed on top of Callie until she realized they had just landed and let out a deep breath. Callie kissed her forehead and her cheeks and held her close until the plane slowed down and she could feel her body start to relax. She started to wonder and worry about nightmares and what kind of shape her leg would be in tomorrow since Arizona could only take over the counter acetaminophen. Arizona nodded and murmured, "I'm good, I'm okay." Callie gave her one last kiss on her forehead and they sat patiently waiting for the seatbelt sign to go off.

When the plane came to a stop, they waited for a few minutes for the seatbelt light to go off then they got up and started gathering their things. After another ten minutes of waiting and hearing rattling and moving around under the plane, they assumed their luggage was being unloaded. They heard a door open and the captain came into the room and asked to speak to Arizona privately. Callie waited and watched while her wife went to the front of the cabin and spoke to the captain. She had no idea what they could be talking about. When they finished speaking, Arizona returned to Callie's side, took her hand but stood more so that she could face her rather than standing right next to her. When the door was opened, Callie was hit with the salty sea air with a hint of fishiness, tropical fruits, spices, and twenty years of memories. Her eyes clouded over with tears, she was thrilled to be here, but she knew when she stepped off this plane, she wouldn't be met by the beat up old pick up truck and the old man whose skin was dark and rough from years of working in the hot sun with eyes that were like looking into her own. She looked to her wife, saw the tears running down pale cheeks and understood that she knew exactly what this meant to her because while Miami is where she grew up, this is the place she considered home. She pulled Arizona into her arms and whispered, "I can't believe you. I love you so much." Arizona brushed their lips together and replied, "I love you too, but honey, we need to get off the plane."

Callie walked to the door, still stunned by where they were. When she reached the steps, she just looked up to the sky and saw the deep shade of blue unlike she had ever seen before and only rivaled her wife's eyes as her favorite. She took in a deep breath of the salty sea air and slowly made her way down the steps, then turned and held out her hand to help Arizona down. Arizona looked toward the tail of the plane, saw an old beat up jeep with no top, and smiled as she saw the man coming around the back of the vehicle. He was an older man who must be in his seventies with dark skin that looked tough as leather from working outside all his life, with an old straw cowboy hat on his head, wearing a pair of old worn out blue jeans, an open long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled to the elbows, over a white t-shirt and a pair of cowboy boots that looked like they were about to fall apart. When he looked up, it was just like looking into the eyes of her wife and daughter when she saw those twinkling brown eyes and that wide toothy grin and it finally hit her that the strong family resemblance wasn't Torres, but Ortiz. Callie noticed Arizona looking toward the tail of the plane, smiling her super-magic smile and followed her gaze and almost dropped to her knees. Walking toward her was not the man she expected, but his only son and spitting image.

Dropping her wife's hand, Callie cried out, "Uncle Berto," and ran to the man who was walking toward her with his arms opened wide. She threw her arms around his neck and allowed the tears to flow down her cheeks. She hadn't seen this man, this side of her family in over twenty years, hadn't spoken to them in nearly ten because she feared they felt the same as her mother did. Finally pulling back, she asked, "How did you…when did you…" In his thick Spanish accent, Berto looked at the beautiful blonde who had walked up behind his niece and had tears in her eyes as well and explained, "Arizona, your wife, she called me and asked me to pick you up so here I am, picking you up." Callie looked from her uncle to her wife and just shook her head.

Finally getting her wits about her she asked, "How did you even know how to get in touch with him or anyone or where this place even was?" Arizona walked toward the jeep and while Berto was putting the carry on bag in the back with the rest of the luggage, she explained, "When I called your dad to ask for the jet, I asked him how to get in touch with your family here. He put your mom on the phone, she asked me everything I wanted to do and before I knew it, our entire trip was planned and paid for and when I protested she told me they planned to pay anyway and to ask you because they already offered." Callie nodded and responded, "They did. I just…I can't believe you did this for me." Arizona kissed her softly and answered, "I did it for us. I want to know what made you who you are." She then looked at Berto who was waiting by the passenger door and said, "And I can already see where you get the sleeve thing from." Callie laughed, tapped Arizona's ass and ordered, "Shut it!" Arizona climbed in the back and Callie started to get in with her and she was told to sit up front and catch up with her family. Callie reluctantly agreed and told her uncle they were to speak English so Arizona could understand. Her uncle playfully rolled his eyes and told them both to hold on it was going to be a bumpy ride.

After a very dusty and bumpy 45 minute ride, Arizona realized Uncle Berto wasn't kidding and was feeling just a little bit nauseous and held her hand over her stomach to try to calm it. While speaking to her uncle, Callie looked back and could see just by the look on her wife's face that she wasn't feeling well, said something to her uncle in Spanish and he instantly slowed down then turned onto a paved road. After a few minutes, Callie looked back again, caught Arizona's eye, saw her nod to indicate she was feeling better and mouthed, "I love you." After another twenty minutes, Callie turned to Arizona, pointed up to a large wrought iron arched sign that read 'Hacienda de Ortiz' and exclaimed, "Here it is! This is the family hacienda." Arizona gasped when she looked up and saw the large three story estate which was nothing like she pictured. It was obviously very old but well taken care of. The stucco exterior was recently painted a golden yellow color, and the archways on each level were painted in vibrant blues, greens, reds, and purples while the tiles were made up of colorful floral designs. The roof was made of terracotta and the doors of a thick rustic wood and the home was surrounded by acres and acres of farmland. She was so focused on the sight; she didn't notice anything else until the jeep came to a stop a little way from the house. Her senses were bombarded with the sweet smell of fruits, cakes, and cookies, the bite of herbs and spices, the earthy scent of tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, corn, and other vegetables she couldn't identify, the rich aroma of various meats. Add to that the upbeat Latin music, the sound of melodic laughter, the thud of hammers hitting nails, the blended languages of English and Spanish and she felt like she had entered a whole new world, one she didn't know existed but also didn't feel alien to her. This was the life her wife grew up in and just this snapshot gave her a completely different view of the woman standing next to her.

Callie looked around at the place that felt so much like home, smelled the familiar scents, listened to the joyous sounds of her family in the kitchen and realized if they knew they were coming, they were in for a huge feast. Looking around, she saw tables set up in front of the house and in the courtyard within the house, there was colorful bunting and lights strung up as well as balloons, banners, pinatas, and all the traditional decorations for a true Mexican fiesta. Taking Arizona's hand, she looked to her uncle and asked, "What's all this?" Berto smiled and responded, "You know your Tias you get married you have a party. You got married, this is your honeymoon, so we have a fiesta." Shocked by that response, Callie just blinked at her uncle who took her in his arms and said, "It was never us Calliope, you love who you love and from what we've been told, you picked a good one." He then whispered, "She's a looker too." Callie smacked his arm and ordered, "Don't go hitting on my wife now." Berto chuckled and replied, "She's not quite my type but you knew that now didn't you?" He winked at his niece and started to unload the jeep.

Arizona turned just in time to see three older women, who also appeared to be in their seventies and looked remarkably like Lucia all run out of the house and straight toward them hugging and kissing them both. Callie wrapped her arm around Arizona and introduced from left to right, Tia Ana, Tia Rosa, Tia Marta, this is my wife Arizona. All three women hugged the blonde again, looked to Callie and asked, "There's no food in New York? You don't eat? You don't feed your wife?" Callie laughed and responded, "We eat plenty." Tia Rosa put her arm around Arizona and walked her toward the house and told her, "Tonight you eat like a queen, the whole family, the whole town is coming to see our Calliope and her beautiful bride and celebrate your marriage." As they walked through the kitchen, Callie grabbed a fresh tortilla, lifted the lid from one of the pots, dipped the tortilla in, held her hand underneath it, held it up to Arizona's mouth and offered, "Here honey taste this." Arizona didn't realize how hungry she was until she smelled all the food, gladly took a bite of what her wife was offering, rolled her eyes and let out a moan of pleasure and declared, "Oh my god, that has to be the best thing I ever tasted." Callie arched her brow at her wife making her blush, then Arizona smirked and winked at her making her chuckle. Deciding not to double-dip, Callie took a spoon from the drawer next to the stove and piled more on the remnants of the tortilla for herself. As soon as she started to chew it, she wondered how the hell Arizona's mouth wasn't burning. This was a tad on the spicy side even for her and Arizona, who didn't do spicy, was just standing there carrying on a conversation with her tias like she just ate an ice cube.

When Callie reached for another tortilla, she yelped when the back of her hand was smacked with a wooden spoon and her Tia Marta reprimanded, "I swear it's like you're still 10 years old. Go get ready, your party starts in two hours and you stink of sweat and dust. Your Mami sent your sizes, your outfits are in your old room." Callie glared at her tia and whined, "But we're hungry, it was a long flight and a long drive and all we had was some fruit." Marta looked at Callie and clucked her tongue then she looked at Arizona and asked, "Are you hungry dear?" Arizona popped her dimples at her new family and said sweetly, "It really was a long trip, and that was very delicious." Rosa pulled out two plates, piled them high with food and fresh tortillas, got both girls a drink then looked to Callie and asked, "Why didn't you offer your wife some food?" Callie's eyes nearly popped out of her head, but she knew better than to talk back, her hand was still stinging from the spoon. When the older women left the room, Arizona snickered at her and Callie whispered, "How the hell did you do that?" Arizona smiled, pointed to her dimples and quipped, "The universal symbol for sweet and wholesome." Callie tore a tortilla in half and muttered, "Sweet and wholesome my ass…OW!" She looked up and saw her uncle standing behind her and asked, "Why did you just smack me on the back of the head?" Berto looked down at her and admonished, "You don't curse in this house!" When he walked away, Callie murmured, "Some honeymoon this is turning out to be." Arizona popped a piece of meat in her mouth and chirped, "I'm having a great time." Callie looked at her wife and tried to be irritated, but she was just too damn cute, so she leaned in and kissed her instead.
