The Defenders are now on the search for a missing heroine, and this is a personal ordeal when Lincoln turns into something he didn't think he could and it could very much change everything the others know about, and would bring an end to the trouble before it could get further from worse. Spells and Louds.

Chapter 724: If Evil be thy dangerous.

(July 15. Royal Woods.)

We now go to the Allied Outpost, and they're all on the search for where Luna Spellman and Michelle Lewis were taken and this has the whole town on high alert.

They contacted FutureTech and they go through the surveillance cameras of the Seven-Eleven, but the cameras were jammed and the whole place was burnt down, and with two dead from the flames. So, they don't have any leads on where Luna and Michelle are.

Leni is concerned and then she tries to sort this out. "Guys, when we went there, the plants didn't reveal anything and just told me that they saw was lots of smoke which was clouding their vision and they could see the vehicle they got away in, but they heard noises."

"We don't even know who the hell we are looking for" said Neil. "How in the hell are we supposed to find whoever did this madness?"

Victor then goes through his tablet. "No evidence was left behind. Whoever did this, was smart enough to take down one of our own, but who would do this?"

"It can't be Chandler or the goons he befriended" said Jordan. She then pets Dominic who is hissing. "They're locked up and at this moment, in the medical care after they got into a fight with someone in jail. They got what they deserved."

Boomer then gives them a report. "Guys, I am above the location where it happened. They're cleaning up the mess and they said that there were no Pokémon in the area. This is bad, we got nothing on any leads and the staff say they only saw smoke. The staff who died, may have seen the people who did this."

Sam then put her phone away and she looks to Lincoln who is pissed off, then Linka asks. "Sam? Anything?"

Sam sighs. "No, nothing. Simon and Stella said they're gonna help too, and Slenderman is doing that one." she then slams her fist to the wall and makes the whole room spark. "Whoever did this, is gonna fucking die!"

They all could tell this is making her pissed off, and the same goes with Lincoln who looks down the window and super pissed off. Jordan goes to him and she holds his hand. "We'll find her Linc, we just have to… Lincoln?"

They all look to the boy and his eyes are switching from black, blue and red and then Linka recalls. "His blood bond with Luna! He can find her!" They see his left hand has Frostmourne and it whispers to him. "The Runeblade is telling him something."

Lincoln then whispers in ancient dead language and they all look to Neil if he knows. "What? What are you guys looking at me for? I don't know the language of the ancient undead."

Then Lincoln is back to normal and he looks super pissed off. "Leslie Silver!"

"What?!" They then see Lincoln throw the Runeblade out the window and then he spins Mjolnir around so fast and then throws the hammer in the air with him holding on and he's out of the building through a hole on the ceiling.

"He does realize I could've opened that, right?" asked Victor.

Sam also looks pissed off and she turns into a bolt of lightning and takes to the skies and she follows Lincoln through the sky, and they drag some clouds with them as well.

Jordan then leaves the base and she whistles as Dominic comes with her and some Mutalisks carry them off. Leni and Linka use a flower pod and they tunnel under the ground. Neil looks to Victor. "Rally the others and prepare for attack! Now!"

Victor nods and he goes to the command center and contacts everyone. "All units, all units. We have the coordinates of Luna Spellman and Michelle Lewis. Head towards Silver Mansion, and weapons locked, loaded and hot! Prepare for a fight!"

(Silver Mansion.)

A bolt of lightning smites the ground outside and Lincoln Spellman and Sam Sharp appear and both are not in the mood for something stupid and then something stupid appears. Armed men, and they shoot their AK-47's but Sam makes a barrier of electricity and the bullets get destroyed.

Lincoln uses his mask and scans the guards. "They're hired mercenaries. Let's strike them, they're not an obstacle."

Sam then sends a powerful bolt of lightning and this kills the ten hired gunmen. Then some banshee's fly in and send a barrage of missiles and kills the rest. Lincoln blasts the front doors and then Sam shoots some electricity and this shuts down all the power in the mansion.

The servants are spotted, tied up and so Lincoln blasts the chains and they run out and they meet with the rest of the Allied forces and tell them what's going on.

Lincoln and Sam look around and more gunmen appear and try to shoot them and one is carrying a mini-gun to gun them down. Lincoln sighs and he turns his blaster into his shredder pistols and he shoots ice, fire and kyber shots at all of them.

They then look around and Sam scans through the walls for any signs. "Nothing, I got nothing. Except for more dorks with guns incoming." Then they hear the voice of Jordan through their communicators.

Jordan. "Solid copy." They hear the sounds of the walls getting destroyed and some screams of terror as something is tearing them apart and shooting at them.

Sam then looks to the floor. "Linc, I can sense something powerful is down there. A powerful energy source, it's strong. Like, very strong. I don't like this."

Victor. "We're picking up the same thing on the scanners. Chances those rich bitches are down there with something big and I think Luna might be down there too."

"Then we're going down." Lincoln blasts the floor around them like a circle and then he throws Mjolnir in the air and the hammer punches a hole in the ceiling, and then comes back down fast and slams in between Lincoln and Sam and the duo are sent downward.

They pass by multiple floors and levels, which they now question on what is this mansion supposed to be. They make it to the ground level and look around. "What in the heck?" They look around and see lava falls everywhere. But Sam touches them.

"This is not real lava." she touches it again. "These are just screens, so many of them. What is this?" Then the lights turn on and they see Luna Frost, and Michelle Lewis.

Michelle Lewis is unconscious and she's tied up by her legs and arms and hanging over a large vat of purple liquid, and that liquid is a combination of multiple toxic chemicals.

Luna Frost is chained tight onto a steel chair, and she's got a handkerchief to her mouth to keep her knocked out. She looks bruised and hurt, and her hair is a mess.

"Mom!" Lincoln and Sam race over to them, but then they see the chair being lifted up by mechanical arms and they lift her over a large vat of molten lava. This shocks the duo and they see the girls who did this. "You!"

Leslie Silver, on a chair with her associates: Karen Houseman, Chastity Higgins and Regina Westwind and they stand tall as they are above them on a catwalk with the remote of the mechanical arms. "Hello, there. My dearest love."

"Let my mom and Michelle go, now!" yelled Lincoln. "You don't know what kind of trouble you just got yourself into!"

"You're already crossing the line and the whole mansion is surrounded by every force we got to take you all down!" said Sam, she then readies her powers on them.

Leslie Silver smirks. "Oh, don't be like that, also we know they're outside, and that is why I have this." Leslie pushes the button to her chair and something projects itself from her chair and is now going through the walls and ceiling above.

They look to the cameras that are shown and see a powerful barrier has been built and is now defending the whole mansion, and those inside are shoved out. Chastity then explains. "We got this tech from the former staff members of Incognito labs, and they told us how they worked."

"No one can come in and no one can come out" said Karen. "We're in control now, and we can get to the next phase of the plan."

The two tied up gals are now being lowered, and this makes Lincoln and Sam alarmed. "Stop! What the hell do you want?!"

Leslie smirks, and then Regina hands her a helmet. "Why, you of course. This thing will let me do that too. Lincoln, I will let you're precious mommy and some random woman go, if you wear this for me."

Lincoln could tell, that helmet was not what it seems and would take control of his mind. He looks to Sam who is horrified by this, and she can't attack them because each of them has a remote to the mechanical arms carrying the two women. Leslie grins. "So, Linky. Make your choice."

(Outside.)

The forces are all attacking at full force onto the barrier, they are unleashing everything they got. "God damn it! We can't breach this!" Lori then uses as much lava as she can.

Then Leni emerges from the ground. "The barrier reaches below the earth, we can't get through. We're blocked off!" She then summons some monstrous plants and they spew out acid onto the barrier, but no effect.

"We can't get Martin and Jack Cyber" said Victor. He then leads some Tesla Troopers and they blast the barrier, and still nothing. "Those two aren't even here, they're at Korhal!"

Jordan doesn't stop and she keeps attacking the barrier, and she sheds some tears. "No! No! No! We have to get to them, now!" She then tosses some grenades, but they do nothing, and then Peter Sharp fires every Ghost Rider strength he has and still nothing and now he's enraged.

Jordan keeps shooting, but she fails to see Hollow is behind her. "Jordan, stand down."

Jordan then looks to him. "What? What do you mean?!" She doesn't notice the others looking up and are surprised by what they see. "We need to get in there and…" Hollow then makes her turn around and she sees someone on top of the barrier. "Wait, what the heck?!"

(Back underground.)

Lincoln is in tears and he looks to his mom, Luna who is unconscious and Michelle who is also unconscious. He then sees the helmet and he tries to think of something, then Leslie smiles. "How about, we make this a bit more of a challenge?" She snaps her fingers.

Karen pushes a button and mechanical arms come out from below and grab Sam and they keep her from using her electric powers, because the arms are rubber coated. "No! What the hella re you doing?! This is sick and evil!"

Leslie grins and chuckles. "Lincoln, I have always wanted power and everything, and no I will have it all, and same with my friends as well. You see, you are the key to what we seek, and the key to the future I will have. We will have it all, everything we ever wanted and more."

Leslie then uncovers the sheet from the helmet. "All you need to do, is put this on and then we'll let them go and you will make sure that we have everything we want. No one will stop us, because they'll be too busy trying to stop you." (Truth be told, she plans to mind control Luna Frost and Sam Livewire.)

Lincoln doesn't seem to have a choice and he goes towards the helmet, but he doesn't drop his weapons. Sam sees this and tries to call to him, but her mouth is covered by another mechanical arm.

Leslie smiles at this and now she's at point blank in front of Lincoln. "Yes, now you see as we see and soon we will make sure everyone knows the name of the great rich and powerful." The rest of her friends smile and chuckle at this.

Lincoln on the other hand doesn't. "You're not taking, our world!" He then uses Mjolnir and he knocks the helmet into the sky with Mjolnir, he then kicks Leslie away and then blasts the helmet to pieces. Then he throws Mjolnir to Sam and it breaks the mechanical arms. "Now!"

Sam bolts forward and at the same time Lincoln shoots the mechanical arms holding Luna and Michelle and then Sam goes over and grab them both and goes back to Lincoln at lightning speed. "Nice plan!"

"All I had to do, was toy with her needs and wants, and then surprise them." Lincoln then recalls his hammer, and Sam tries to wake up Luna and Michelle, but then they're all grabbed by mechanical arms.

Leslie is now furious. "You think this is something to toy with?! You will love me and you will do as we say and the world will be ours!" She then has another helmet, and more are coming. Lincoln and Sam are now surprised to see this and try to break free.

But then the whole place shakes. "What the heck was that?" asked Chastity. She sees the tablet and something is coming down. "Wait, how?!"

Regina sees this as well. "What? No one can breach the barrier! Those stupid scientist were liars!"

Then the ceiling is destroyed and the mechanical arms are blasted off by Jordan and Dominic, and the helmets and shot by something in the smoke. Then Hollow comes down and he throws his light saber and it destroys the mechanical arms coming with blasters. "Nailed it."

"Rosato?!" Leslie then backs up, but then Dominic is let loose and he bites onto her leg and throws her around and then the Indoraptor bites so hard onto Leslie's leg that she screams from the pain and sees blood, and then the dinosaur tosses her away and she crawls away from this.

Regina, Chastity and Karen go down to help her and they see something in the fog is pointing blasters, chainsaws and lasers at them. "What the heck is that thing?!" asked Karen as they panic.

Luna Frost soon wakes up and so does Michelle. "Wait, what the heck happened?"

Lincoln and Sam are surprised by who they see, and they recall from Gyro about the Marvel Universe and the many heroes and villains from within and they know this guy by his name. "MODOK?!"

Yes! It is him! MODOK! He appears through the smoke looking menacing as ever and he grins and he's also holding a Number 1 Dad mug for some reason. "That is right, it is I. MODOK! And do you know what MODOK stands for?!"

Lincoln and Sam are surprised and speak and so does Hollow and Jordan. "Mental Organism Designed Only for…"

Luna sees MODOK. "Oh what the hell?!" She blasts him with an icicle but it doesn't harm him and just slices one of the laser claws off.

"OW! Hey, I am on your side here!" MODOK then continues. "Designed Only for Killing. Yeah the mood just got ruined."

Lincoln looks to Hollow. "Did you bring him here?!"

Hollow chuckles. "He's a good friend, and a good ally, and a good dad." Lincoln and Sam are so confused, and same with Luna.

Michelle wakes up and sees him. "Holy cow! Why is there a flying ugly baby head here?!"

MODOK is not amused by this. "Yeah, that also ruined the moment. Now, I shall deal with this!" He then grab the four rich girls and shakes them around and then he threatens them with the chainsaws going near and then leaving them and then coming back and then leaving and then he does this again.

"Yeah, this is the best MODOK I have ever met" said Hollow. "Alright, let's get the heck out of here." A steel rope is dropped and soon the rest of the team comes down.

Luna then looks to Lincoln and she goes over to hug him and then Sam and Michele join in. Lincoln sheds some tears as he nearly lost his mother and his auntie and Sam was grateful they're alive. Then Jordan joins in, and then Linka, Leni and the rest of the Spellman's.

Hollow sees this and smiles. "You did good MODOK. You did dang good, big guy."

"Well, this reminds me of my family and though I am divorced, I will not let it hinder me and my conquest with my company to make sure I will have a legacy!" said MODOK in glory.

They all look towards him confused, and then they look to Hollow. "Yeah, I know. We need to talk about this."

A/N: This didn't take too long, sorta. Leslie Silver is now dealt with and chances she's gonna enjoy juvie for what she and her posse tried to do, and Hollow will explain why he decided to aid MODOK and his conflict with his damned life. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
