Oh… Oh! This chapter, well…. This chapter is gonna make me, well very happy. Because he is back, the Guardian is back, but something doesn't feel right, and it's gonna lead to a crossover, but the crossover isn't gonna be a helpful to the world thing, it's gonna be different. So, enjoy reading this guys! Time to turn it up, crank the speed and feel the Apex Legends Power!

Chapter 756: The Apex Guardian.

(Royal Fortress.)

The whole team, and I mean the whole team have gathered into the large training room, because this is where they have setup a lot of gear, and other stuff for the return of the guardian.

We have: Neil, Leon, Sergei, Gwen, Loona, Peter, Ember, Sunset, Lincoln, Linka, Luna, Sam, Leni, Jordan, Luan, Lori, Carol, Dana, Becky, Boomer, Victor, Martin, Jack Cyber, Tadashi, and also there for some reason are Michelle Lewis and Marcy.

Among them are some allies from across the stars, well a few of them. Prof. Polendina, Maria, Hollow, General Grievous, Mandie, Shang Tsung, Pyrrha, Bill Cipher, and… Wait, why the hell is MODOK here?!

Martin goes through the tablet. "Alright, so the scanners within the Infinite Corridor shows that the Guardian is no longer in that other world, and he's inbound to our world and at great speed too. Once he's in range, I'll open a portal for him to come through and meet here."

"Pretty strange for the guardian to not open a portal from where he was, and allowing him to come here instantly, isn't it?" asked Hollow. He's using the force to make two crates float around and orbit each other, and then he drops them down and sits on one of them.

Linka then speaks. "This is Gyro, we're talking about here, guys. It's never ever normal when it comes to him and chances he might be just taking the scenic route, sounds pretty straight guardian normal to me." Some of the others also agree, this does seem like what Gyro would do.

Pyrrha nods. "She is not wrong. Even though he can teleport, he did turn into a raven and flew all the way from Tirisfal and all the way to Stormwind to meet with King Anduin about the Gnoll overpopulation crisis in the northern lands."

Shang Tsung creates a green fire skull. "Be that as it may, this whole thing… It doesn't feel right. Gyro was gone for more than one week, and he hasn't bothered to commune with any of us about where he is, only his tracker remained operation, yes?"

Jack Cyber goes through this and then he checks the portal connections. "The Sorcerer is right. Something is off, maybe when Gyro gets here, then he'll tell us." They all have to be patient for this.

Then Lincoln asks Shang Tsung. "Sorcerer, no word on what's happening at Runeterra?" All of them also look towards Shang Tsung.

Shang Tsung seems less amused and he sighs. "That one, is hard. We've been cut off from that world, and Gyro made that happen. The ordeal there is something we cannot be able to assist. Because Ryze, the Runemage agreed with Gyro to block off the world of Runeterra from the other dimensions, so we have no means of returning unless the guardian says so. The ruination has struck in their world…"

Bill Cipher continues for him. "So we're screwed stuck with no other choice but to wait. When the time comes, then maybe Gyro will let us go there and help, heck I don't even know what this Ruination is all about."

Marcy is surprised by this discussion everyone is having. 'Oh man. The way they talk about other worlds, now that is exciting.' She then checks her phone for any messages from Ridley.

But then they see Victor and Martin talk to each other, and then they use their tablets and a portal is made. "Alright folks…" said Victor. "Here he…." Then Gyro comes through and morphs out of his raven form, but something is wrong. "Comes? Wait, Gyro?"

Appearance: Now, he still retains his cloak and brown clothing, but he has some changes. He has some body armour that is colored black with some hints of white, black fingerless gloves with energy brass knuckles. His staff is glowing and has an ammo attachment. His face has this black mask with the symbol of a raven and he has this holographic spyglass to his left eye. Also, his long hair is a ponytail now.

His belt has some grenades and some ammo rounds and a knife, bomb and shuriken. He has a four-thruster jetpack on his back which is underneath the cloak. A head band with this logo and name called "Apex." Black and brown combat boots, and he has… Guns, advanced energy guns. Shotguns, Submachine guns, assault rifles, hand pistols and an energy sniper rifle.

All of them are speechless from seeing him like this, and also he looks pissed. "Guardian? Are you feeling alright?" asked Sergei.

They get no response and he just looks towards everyone with some kind of rage in his eyes. "Gyro? Dude, are you feeling alright?" asked Sam.

Still nothing, and so MODOK does the talking. "Let me handle this, sometimes I deal with my wife and kids when they give me the silent treatment." He looks to the guardian. "Hey! Wake up! The house is one fire, and the adaptoid just ate all the canned pork!"

But nothing, and the Guardian looks to him confused, and so do the others. "What the hell was that about?" asked Jordan.

MODOK backs away. "Well, I tried. If you all need me, I'll be making myself a coffee." They watch as the retarded villain heads out of the place and to wherever the kitchen is. "Where is it?"

Leni then responds. "Five doors to the right, and bypass the dining hall!" She then looks towards Gyro. "Guardian, you've been gone since Martin's birthday, what happened? Where did you go?"

But he doesn't respond, this didn't seem right and all of them were concerned, so they all get ready their weapons and powers, and stand by for what might come and then Shang Tsung asks. "Guardian…. Are you feeling fine? You don't seem…"

Then he speaks. "Who am I? What did you call me?"

They did not like his town, Michelle was gonna speak, but Marcy holds her hand, and so someone else does, and that would be Boomer. "Gyro….. You are the guardian of the- AARGH!" Boomer is shot.

They're all surprised by this, and they see Boomer on the ground with a hole on his shoulder. "What the hell man?!"

They see Gyro, is holding a weapon that they have never seen before. A pistol called The RE-45 Auto. Gyro then reloads it. "Guardian huh? Well….. They do call me the guardian, but many call me…. Gyro, the Dimensional Mage, of the Outlands!"

He then puts his pistols away and he pulls out two more weapons, and on both hands, His left hand has an assault Rifle called the VK-47 Flatline and on the right hand is a submachine gun called the Alternator SMG.

They all get to cover and use the whole stadium to set up blockades and barricades as the guardian opens fire. Hollow uses the force to deflect bullets and so he gets to cover. "Well, looks like the guardian has gone rogue, I think."

Linka is in cover with Leni. "We have to stop him, also I don't think we've seen guns like those before!" She then tosses a smoke grenade, but Gyro sees this and he shoots the smoke grenade before it hits the ground. "Wait what?! How did he do that?!"

Gyro snickers. "Because I am a freaking Legend, I'm an Apex Legend!" His SMG runs out of ammo and so he puts the Assault Rifle away and pulls out another Assault rifle called the HAVOC Rifle and he gets shooting. "No one can beat the might of a dang legend, and I am one of them!"

Leon then runs out of cover and gets to another. He then grabs his pistols out and he runs for cover again and shoots, but he gets hit in the right leg and he combat rolls to cover near Becky, Martin and Lori. "Well, that was bad." Becky goes over and heals him.

Martin then deploys a barrier on everyone else. "Guys, we need to neutralize him, now!" He comes out of cover, and is in his suit and he shoots at Gyro. But then Gyro uses some energy from his hands, his magic and he pulls Martin to him and then kicks him away and shoots. "Whoa what?!"

Martin flies around to avoid the shots, and Gyro has pulled out a sniper rifle called the Kraber .50-Cal Sniper. "You think you got the drop on me?! You're as predictable as Mirage or Wraith, and those two were a challenge!" He continues to shoot and Martin flies around.

"Guys those are some damn awesome guns!" Sergei comes out and throws his anchor, but he misses and Gyro shoots him and he's down. Sergei sees the shot to his right arm. "That hurt, but awesome!"

Gyro then throws a grenade and it goes onto one of the barricades and it explodes, the group hiding are all knocked away: Lincoln, Jordan and Neil. Luna sees this. "Lincoln!" She then grabs Boomer, and freezes him and she uses him as a human shield to get to her son.

Luna makes it to them and she makes a powerful ice barrier, and then Sam along with Victor turn into bolts of electricity and they try to keep him occupied, but Gyro grins. "Not today. Time to stop the power!" He slams his fist to the ground and they're knocked back.

"Whoa! Well, his magic kinda got strong." Sam turns into energy and evades the shots from Gyro as he uses a Light Machine gun called the M600 Spitfire.

Victor also turns to energy. "This is insanity!" He evades the other attacks and hides next to Sergei and Loona. "Either he has lost it, or this has something to do with the world he went too?!"

Gyro then draws out a marksman weapon. "There's only one king, only one crown and no god damn room at the top of the throne and I am about to bring it down!" The weapon: 30-30 Repeater.

Lincoln then arms his shredder blaster, and he sees Linka turn her crossbow into sniper mode, Jordan also gets ready with her weapon, and then Leon is armed with his pistols locked and loaded, and Carol also gets ready. "Alright, keep him occupied!" Linka and Carol then shoot at Gyro, and then Gyro uses the gauntlet on his left arm and it makes a shield and he backs up as they shoot at him.

Peter Sharp turns his sword into a mounted gun, General Grievous and Mandie also use blasters to shoot him, and then Hollow turns his light saber into a blaster, and looks towards Gyro. 'Those eyes, they're the eyes of someone who has fought through something. He… He's in the hunger for glory and victory!'

Lincoln then runs, he slides and then goes under Gyro and fires one kyber shot and this knocks Gyro away, but he rolls and then draws a new weapon, a shotgun called the EVA-8 Auto. "Smooth move there, kid! Reminds me of that high-speed hyper psycho, Octane!"

Boomer slowly gets up and sees Luna shutdowns the ice barrier and she makes dual ice cannons and shoots. "Guys, what the hell is going on?" then he's shot again and Boomer is down. "Come on!"

Gyro shoots and moves, and then he looks around. "Time for an ultimate, and this is why I am support!" He then grabs his staff, he jumps and slams the staff to the ground and a shockwave of energy shocks the ones who are shooting him.

So the ones knocked away are Lincoln, Linka, Jordan, Carol, Peter, Leon, Grievous, Mandie and Hollow, but he manages to land on his feet and he charges with his light saber, but then Gyro sees this and he smiles, he then leaps and drops a shock grenade and Hollow is stunned and falls to the ground. "Ow."

Luna ducks underneath Gyro and she shoots with her ice cannons, but Gyro uses his arm shield and then he deploys a barrier field on himself, and then throws a stun grenade, and Luna is blinded, so Gyro hits her with the back of his gun. "And that is why I am a fucking legend!"

"Gyro!" The man pulls out his pistol again and points it to the face of Michelle. "Gyro, Guardian of the Realms and the apprentice of the Guardian Medivh, and he's long gone. You are alive, standing and the founder of the Multiverse Alliance and the Immortal Council."

She then takes the pistol, and she goes closer. "And… You're the guy, I'm dating, and in love with." she then removes his mask and she locks lips with him, and this makes his eyes turn back to normal. She then departs from the kiss, and Gyro looks around.

"What the hell?" He sees everyone is down, badly hurt and trying to recover. "What the hell did I do?" He looks to himself and then to Michelle and Marcy. "Michelle?"

Then Michelle slaps him in the face. Gyro then recovers from that, he then speaks, but someone punches him away and he's knocked out, and that someone is Sergei. "Asshole!"

(Later.)

Two hours later, all of them look upon the guardian, and he's not that injured, but everyone else is and they're all super pissed off. Gyro can tell that all of them are not in the mood for whatever excuse he has for attacking and going rogue. "So, I know I have a lot of explaining to do…."

They all yell. "You think?!" Each one is confused and pissed off.

Luna. "Dude! You just went berserk and nearly killed us! Half of us are badly wounded because of you!"

Lincoln. "You didn't even seem right in the head, it was like all you wanted was to win, fight, win fight and win and fight some more. Seriously, that was insane and delusional!"

Neil. "I don't know what the heck happened back there and/or why you did all of that to us, but it has me so confused, and yet very impressive at the shootout you just did, felt like a video game."

Martin. "Guardian…. I have never ever encountered that, well I did and that was with that girl Dee-Dee. But she never had guns, she broke stuff by touching it, you shot everything and nearly broke us."

Boomer. "Everything hurts, so much. Also, pretty sick guns man, you took us down like a champ…." Luna and Lincoln freeze Boomer to shut him up. "Oh, come on."

Michelle looks to Gyro. "Gyro… What happened to you? Where did you go?"

Gyro sighs, and then he looks to the others and he tells them where he was. "Alright, so I went to this world, and this world is where…. This is where they brought back an old blood sport, a battle royale to see who is on top… They call it, Apex Legends."

Cue theme song: Legends are made of!
