Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of War. Enjoy the 6700-word chapter. I don't own Avatar, Nick, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Bryan Konietzko do.

Ty Lee sat on Hao's lap and poked at his face playfully. It had been night for a few hours and she was far more amused that she had managed to stay this way, there was a lot more to do and say before now. It had been weird for now, there was a silence between them as she seemed to watch her friend tilt her head at her.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee questioned as she tightened her grip around Hao, stopping herself from falling.

"Yeah, you? How long have we been here? The Lieutenant might have been a bit mad to notice if I was gone for now." Hao stated before he sighed. "We're going to have to get down sooner or later, you are you going to be, ok?" Hao questioned with a raised eyebrow.

Ty Lee shrugged, tightening her grip around Hao said while he tilted his head, her legs wrapped tightly around his waist and her arms around her neck. It seemed as if came a lot down a lot more too if they wanted to fall off than anything.

She giggled, her breath tickling his neck as her ponytail brushed his skin. It made him laugh as he looked at her, interest flooding his features. She smiled, too curious now about how this would go for now.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee questioned before he seemed to be done and dusted, a lot more curious as to how this went.

"Yeah, you?" Hao asked which got a nod that bonked their heads together loud enough for him to wince as he grunted his head and sighed while he tilted his head.

There was so much more to this little game, a lot more that seemed to be replaced and done when all was said and done. He'd laugh if not for anything else before now when it seemed to be done and dusted before now. Whatever the game down to it. She'd handle it, she would always handle it, unsure of what to do, where to go, and how to handle the problem.

He rubbed at his snort while he questioned to prepare, for now, whatever had been prepared. He seemed to handle more than he had been questioned for now. She smiled before she tilted her head at her, humming as she drummed her fingers on the time being when all of now. What he did know was that there was a lot more fun to be had

He tilted his head but questioned what to do next while he tilted his head unsure of what to do next. There was a lot more to their game than it had been done and dusted.

There was a lot more to their game. Yet neither really nor cared.

"Is it ok if I end up coming back?" Ty Lee started to which she tilted her head and clicked her fingers together, interested in what to do next.

He shrugged, interested in the move that would be made to end this contest. There was a lot more to do, a lot more to see, so much of a game to lose.

There was a lot more to do, a lot more to see at the moment. He tilted his head before he questioned what to handle while he hummed about what to do next. He was a lot more focused now.

He tilted his head before while he seemed to find it questioning. She wrapped her hands tightly around his throat and nuzzled into her side, unsure of what to say or do next.

She nuzzled into his side, unsure of what to do next, how best to prevent this mission, a bit amused more than anything else.

"Maybe, it's up to you, but yeah. There are going to be a few problems with this when push comes to shove. I don't know if every single person on the base is going to be ok when it comes down to it. There's a lot of soldiers who think you might be a little weird when it comes down to it." Ty Lee stated before he tilted his head while what he seemed to do next.

"Are you going to be able to handle training?" Ty Lee stated before she seemed to question. "Whatever is next would be something amazing to this. We both know they're not going to let us relax and check the other's aura." Ty Lee added to which she questioned what to do next.

She rubbed at her temples while humming and starting to which what to do next. She knew her friend trusted her and she'd be cursed if she broke that trust at all when it came down to it. So much more fun to be had.

Whatever came next would be a nightmare when it came down to it. They had a long more to glint over for the time being. He had a lot more to mull over while all of it was done and dusted. He sighed while he questioned what to do next.

She hummed and leaned on her friend as he seemed to question what it being oddly curious for now. He seemed to be focused not on her though which told her that she was trying to be as respectful as possible towards him when all of it was said and done.

She hummed as she looked at him, unsure of what to say or do when it came down to himself. He had a lot more to him than it seemed and that interested him more than anything.

She tapped at him as he looked around, curious before he looked down at her, raising an eyebrow while he seemed to be prepared. She looked at her while he raised said eyebrow higher towards her, unsure of what to do next while he sighed.

"Hey, are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee questioned before she hummed, raising an eyebrow in answer to what he wanted to do.

She smiled and clung to him tighter. It felt as if she never wanted to leave his side. She knew that there was a small chance he hated her, but she didn't care at the moment. She knew that she was able to relax. Whatever it would be now? Well, there was a lot more to do next when it came down to it.

He hugged her to his side, unsure if he should say anything. He didn't want them to fall if they did. Well, he could try stopping them, but he didn't know what to do next when and if he stopped them. He was also content to stay up here, for now, smiling to himself, not once did he expect to meet someone like her, not once did he expect to have fun with this when all of those when it came down to it.

He was a lot more focused to handle it. He still smiled at Ty Lee, knowing that there was at least some hope for him to be able to have fun, relax, and finally understand what had been done, what could be done.

The idea of training still terrified him, but he was at least terrified enough to know that he'd go down swinging. There was at least some silver lining to all of this which brought a smile to his face as he knew exactly what to do next at the end of the day.

There were still terrors clawing at the end of his mind. He was all too interested before now.

He let out a yawn as he clicked his fingers together and leaned further back on the edge of the pillar. It felt nicer up here than down there where he had to put up with more and more terrors that could have bothered him.

Still? If anything? It made him feel a bit better to see it this way. There was just the way this made him feel that it made him question what things would be like before now.

He was prepared for the worst if nothing else, he didn't want to be unwilling to back down but he also didn't want to be backed down if anything else. There was a lot more to control, to command, he'd not be forced down by someone who had commanded power than him just because of what came next.

If anything? He was tired, he had been tired, he had been bored and he wasn't going to stop now if anything. It just seemed as if he had too much to focus upon if anything.

Ty lee looked at him while he questioned what was going to happen. There was just too much to properly focus on now.

"Where do you plan on going if there's nowhere else to go?" Ty Lee before he questioned what to do next.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee questioned before he frowned before he fell silent if only for a bit. "And uh… I don't know. It's a bit weird. I haven't been around here in a while. I don't know what to do next. I didn't expect to get this far." Ty Lee added to which she fell silent.

He was silent, unsure of whatever would be coming after this. There was a pause as he seemed to find out his best options were to focus on.

"Well, you can stay around here, hide if you want, I guess. Doesn't help a lot, but it makes a lot more sense." Hao stated before he frowned to himself. "You can stay here a bit. It isn't like the base has a lot of security as you can see, it's very easy to sneak in and out as you can see. I don't know why they haven't gotten better security when push comes to shove." Hao added before he tilted his head, looking around as he did so.

There was little he could do before this was all over with when push came to shove when all of it was over with at the end of the day. If nothing else? It made him raise an eyebrow knowing what was coming their way.

He yawned; a lot more tired as to how this was going to be going. He knew for a while that there was a lot more to question when it was all over for now.

He yawned, tilting his head once more as he looked at her and frowning as he did so to the best of his ability. The best he could offer her was a little abode to stay at for now.

Yes, so much to see, to do and he had no time for it… And part of him didn't care. He looked at the girl who had nuzzled into his side. Her dull grey eyes seemed to light up at the sight of him. He sighed and knew he couldn't refuse her gesture. He looked around and slowly started to think.

He could barely do much for now. If he and her… No, he had an idea. There was a part of the base nobody used. Mainly because it was an old cargo area from years ago. There was no foot traffic which meant that they weren't going to be seen, not really by anyone who hadn't come looking. There was a lot more to question.

Still? risky? There was a small price to pay for it. A very small price to pay if he wanted to enjoy the fun he had for now. He looked at her before clearing his throat.

"Hey, come with me. I want to show you something." Hao stated to which she nodded as she looked around.

She watched as Hao leaped from the pillar and shot a burst of flame which slowed his descent, he stumbled a bit and almost tripped and fell which almost made the acrobat giggle if not for the fact that he was her friend and she knew more than he that something else had gone wrong. She hadn't the proper idea of what to do next.

She tilted her head before she hummed before now. There was a lot more to check before now. She hadn't the proper idea, but she still leaped downwards towards him. There was something else on her mind as she looked around the room.

Ty Lee flipped and then landed in a crouch in front of him. He motioned towards the window and then slowly started to climb out the window before he said as he hummed while now. He still questioned what was going to happen next.

There were more problems with this sort of thing. She hadn't the focus before now to do anything… But she still followed him outside and towards a building that looked somewhat run down. He hummed and looked at her before he tilted his head, snapping fingers before he slowly beckoned her towards them.

He looked through the window, only a few shelves of crates and old cargo from years ago. He hadn't a lot more to focus on for now. She looked at it before he looked at the beams which were still related to the old ones from before he sighed.

He smiled before now, he tilted his head while clicking his fingers and looked at her. There was something else, for now, something cutting her mind as of now. There was something else on at the second.

He questioned what to do next. He seemed to focus more and more on little things, small details that she didn't understand but he did understand that something was driving her, moving her more and more with each few pair of seconds to come to terms with it all. There were so few answers to so many questions that vexed and confounded her to no real end. There was something else here, but he couldn't have allowed it to get that far.

He slowly moved the door which slightly cracked as the two entered. There were oodles of odd cannon balls, wreckage from ships they had taken apart, and other small odds and ends but nothing that could have stopped them or gotten in the way.

He turned to Ty Lee and pointed at a high pillar, one off the ground that nobody would have noticed in the middle of the storehouse. If they managed to cling to that? They'd have managed to get up there.

Up was still the question as both struggled to find out how to have gotten up there, to begin with. Ty Lee wondered if she could pull the same trick again. It would have been a lot of fun, a lot of fun to have gotten to play around again and it was just going to be more fun to relax and manage to get this all over with.

She turned to Hao who seemed to be waiting for her to do something. she hummed and then looked at the pillars before turning to Hao, wondering if she could do.

"I'm going to jump and grab that beam then you know the leg hand feet thing? I'm going to swing you up like that and then follow me, ok? I don't want your cute little but to end up smashing on the ground, ok?" Ty Lee said to which Hao hummed and then waited for her to act. She didn't want him to fall, shatter like glass upon the floor.

That? And she was worried he could smash and cut his face upon, that just wouldn't do, not at all.

He'd sigh and simply wonder why he was going to die here if not for the fact that something could have gone wrong. She didn't know what was going on for the time being.

She ran forward, hooking her fingers around the beam and using it to pull herself up. She looked down at him before she ran her fingers over it all. There was a lot more she could do.

He slowly started to look around as he cleared his throat. He knew he could do this; the only answer was if he was brave enough to have done so. There was a moment of silence as he slowly steadied his nerves before he slowly yet surely ran forward, he cleared his eyes of anything that could get within the way. There was a nightmare to which he could not have answered, nor did he expect to have it answered.

Ty Lee looked back at him as he slowly yet surely rushed forward, he leaped up as she swung down, grappling up as he did so. There was a second of shock before he felt her tiny little fingers wrap into his, there was a smile as she flipped up, spinning them around the pillar like spiders which made them both laugh, chuckling as they were pulled upwards, there was a smirk crossing their faces as they laughed and giggled, questioning what was going to happen before long. It only made them happier to be able to relax and enjoy the other's company for now. This would be something nice, cool, and enjoyable to them both for now as of the second. It had just managed to make them laugh more to one another for now.

Nothing was going to be as it goes for now. She swung around, flipping them into the air, looking down at the ground before he yawned to himself as he seemed to laugh, seemed to find it funnier and funnier, giggling as he did so, giggling to himself for.

He landed on the pillar, almost falling backward over the seemed to look up at her. He was about to say something as she landed on his lap. The impact sent them rocking backward slightly, but it did little more than inconvenience them for a few seconds because of this. It didn't do anything besides make him laugh, glancing up at the roof as both returned to their gesture before now.

He tilted his head at the woman, she looked barely thrown off, curious as he did so. There was more to this but neither cared. They didn't want to care at all. It'd just make them laugh up and down… And laugh they did, snickering as both of them seemed to question how the awesome insanity would keep going.

He sighed before he looked up at the ceiling, he drummed his fingers upon the pillar before he hummed to himself. Ty Lee returned to nuzzling into his chest, wrapping her arms and legs around him before she tilted her head, leaning herself forwards and then looking up at the ceiling, questioning what to do next.

He returned the gesture, hugging her as the two friends looked up through a small hole in the chest, rolling his eyes as she leaned her head upon his. He yawned, humming before he looked at her.

"That was fun." Ty Lee said to which Hao chuckled.

"Yeah," Hao stated.

"You, ok?" Ty Lee questioned to which Hao nodded at her, looking before he hummed before tilting his head. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to break your cute little face. It might have been ok but I didn't want to drop you onto the ground that hard." Ty Lee said as Hao hummed.

He shrugged and simply looked up at the ground before he rolled his eyes. There was nothing else upon his mind, nothing else where he was going, but he could dream… This was funnier given enough time and effort. It just didn't entirely handle what needed to be handled. He questioned what she'd do when he escaped. There was more on the line. He sighed, rubbing at the sky. He didn't know what was going to happen.

He hummed, looking at the woman in his arms. He sighed before he understood what to do next… If there was anything else? She'd be over the moon, but it couldn't be something on the moon.

He yawned, leaning back on the pillar before he hummed, glancing back to look up at the ceiling. There was a lot more to come to the surface. He sighed, knowing there was more on the mind.

He sighed, questioning what to do after this came down to it. Ty Lee hummed, looking up to the ceiling where there was a hole upon the roof which made him look up at the ceiling for now.

He didn't care, all he cared about for now was the giggling girl which sat upon his legs and looked at him, giggling as she did so. There was more here, a lot more upon which he could have done for now.

It was amusing. A lot more amusing for the time, it only made him laugh for now. He didn't know what else could have been done, but it did make him laugh for the time, laughing as her braid brushed the nape of his neck, it only served to make him laugh, unsure of the second.

Ty Lee seemed to question as of the second what to do next. She didn't know what it was to bring for now. She didn't know how he was doing, why this was happening, only that she could laugh, far more bemused than anything. It made her laugh now.

She wrapped her arms around the boy, nuzzling into his embrace. It made her feel safe, welcome, at peace, secure… It was a nice thing, something she welcomed.

Welcomed it all as she nuzzled into her friend's shoulder. She didn't know what was going to happen next. Maybe her father would hire an army to go find her, maybe she'd end up joining the circus. Something would happen, she didn't know what, but something was bound to happen and she didn't much care. She enjoyed the idea of getting to have fun, to see something like this.

Hao sighed and rested his hands on her hips as she secured her arms around his neck, resting her head on his chest as the two embraced. She wrapped her legs around his chest, securing herself while ensuring she wasn't going to fall anytime soon. This was to be something to talk about eventually. She didn't know what else was going to happen next, just that it was going to be something odd for now. There was more to do at the time. He was too unsure of what to do next.

"This is nice… I like this, I'm happy." Ty Lee said to which Hao nodded, smiling at her as he did so.

Hao nodded at her, looking around with enjoyment. There was more to this than he had seen. He didn't know what else to question before now. Hao hummed before he questioned the second.

Hao didn't know what else to focus on as of now. He hummed before he understood what to do next. He knew something else as of now.

"Hmm. This is going to be something fun." Hao said before he began to sigh as he pondered what to do next.

There was a lot more to this than he expected… And at the moment? He didn't know what was going on, but he did find some enjoyment in it. A lot more enjoyment than he was used to.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Hao asked as she looked at him, watching as he looked around, too unsure of what to have done now.

He shrugged, looking at her, too unsure, too uncertain for now. this was fun, something that could have been a lot odder, but he supposed he was going to find it to be fun. Ty Lee was such a breath of fresh air in his mind that he forgot what he wanted to say next for now. This was such a fun thing that it hurt his mind, his brain felt as if it was going to burn and explode given enough time and effort.

"Yeah, just thinking," Hao said, brushing up his armor as he did so. "Don't know what to say. Where did you get moves like that? You're a pretty awesome person to have when it comes down to it." Hao said while he tilted his head, he was bored and tired at the same time.

Yet he was always riled up inside, looking up at the roof with such an interest that it made him yawn, too interested in what was coming, to say anything or do much. This was a treat in the afterlife for him.

Ty Lee leaned back against his chest as she hummed and looked down, part of her was scared she'd fall sooner or later, she had more things upon her mind, sure… But she had never tried not to fall, there was still a massive height between her and the ground. It wasn't unreasonable to believe she'd fall sooner or later. She very well felt she could have sooner or later when this all came to heel.

Then again? She felt that way a few times and she was aware of how odd it had been to feel that way then and feel that way now. It just wouldn't do, no, just would not do at all and she knew that. There was nothing else upon which he could have done something, but this was too uneasy, too weird and it only served to have made him laugh, too uncertain, unsure of his destiny, even if it got them in trouble, it'd probably not help, but they were dedicated to it, unsure of what could have been done.

Yet? She nuzzled into him, giggling as her braid tickled his face and made him laugh at this as he rolled his eyes, too amused to say anything or argue. It'd be nothing more than funny to him at the end of the day, this was just too much fun for him, way too much fun and he couldn't say no to it.

She hugged him, pressing herself to him as they looked up and into the sky, there was a lot more on their minds than this, a lot more and none of it seemed like a bad thing, nope it just seemed like there was a lot more to have done, a lot more she could have done and it all blurred together at the end of the day.

Still? It was fun, it was relaxing. There was a lot more to unpack, a lot more to shift through and it was tantalizing and exciting, electrifying and enjoyable to the bitter end.

This was going to be a fun and relaxing time. they had each other and that was all they wanted to care about for now. Ty Lee felt like she might have been a little selfish for what she wanted, but she was honestly not going to care for now. she was allowed a bit of a selfish streak after what she had gone through at the moment.

Hao looked at her as she smiled, her braid wrapping over her shoulder. She looked as if she could have walked on air, but there was little to this than she expected. She was having fun and relaxing; she was on cloud nine…

And if she was honest? She really couldn't have done such a thing and she didn't know how this was going to have been and how well this could have gone. It was a lot more cut and drier than she expected it to have been… Then again? So were many things and she knew this wasn't going to have been easy, no matter how she approached it.

"I'm sorry, I'm being weird, aren't I?" Ty Lee said to which Hao shrugged, looking up and around as he did so.

"Not anything more than you did before, nope," Hao said to which Ty Lee smiled as she rolled her eyes and poked his nose, making him laugh as she did so. "Hey, I can drop you, you know. I don't want to have to make you a pancake on the ground, but I will." Hao said to which she smirked.

Ty Lee knew she could simply tilt herself to the side and they'd both fall, then his cute little face would be grasping not to fall downwards as of now… But that wasn't her style. She wasn't as cold enough to have done that, wasn't as willing to have been capable of that.

Then again? She was mischievous enough to tease him. she was his friend after all and what was a friend if not a tease to another? She felt at home with a friend who cared about her, like she could trust him, still? she didn't exactly know what she could trust with anyone, though. It was just something else, for now, it was all coming all together within her mind.

He was focused more on what to question before now as on the idea of what was to come and how else this was to be fun for now, he didn't know what was going to be questioned before it was over the time. This wasn't going to focus upon for now.

Plus? It was so much more fun when she was allowed to rest and relax. It was something she'd be able to focus on as of now. There was something for now. it was a nightmare. One which he wasn't able to focus upon, not yet for now. This was a lot more to handle for it as of now. This was something else, a lot more to question before now. He hummed to handle it for now. It was something else for now. It was a lot more to focus upon now. He rubbed at the edges of his temples, too unsure of what to say next. He wasn't able to do anything next nor did he allow such.

He wasn't going to be focused on what may or may come. If anything? He wasn't able to contain his amusement for now. This was a lot more to handle as he seemed to think about it… Still? He was able to think, relax, to find some measure of peace… He didn't know what else was going on, but he did know he was going to be able to focus.

There was more to this and he wasn't someone who wanted to relax such a thing. He wasn't sure what she'd become, but he did know that he was going to be to relax, but he was going to handle it as of now.

Ty Lee was curious as she leaned to the side, almost throwing them off the pillar before she straightened herself, questioning what he'd do when push came to shove. She was scared of what would be done, how she'd handle it all. This was too much for now and how best to handle the situation which was constantly changing around here.

Well, if anything? She giggled, hugging her friend as he tried and almost failed to not collapse over the edge of the platform. It'd be a while before he was able to relax, focusing all on not falling over and laughing as he did so.

This was a lot more to consider, a lot more to focus on. Yet? He couldn't have done more than push himself to be a little more every second.

He'd laugh if not for the fact that he could fall. He'd laugh at how silly she was and how well he welcomed it. Every single soldier in this place seemed to hate fun, they mocked the idea of having off time, of enjoying something beyond conquest. He knew many soldiers weren't but to be this was something else. He didn't feel like he was allowed to live when it came down to it. This felt a lot more liberating when it was all over. Yet? He was happy, he felt at peace with himself, with everything around him, and too unsure of what to say, what to have done next thing, how badly this was to be and how well this would have gone. Yes, it was all going as badly as possible. This was a lot more to have been done for the time being.

Still? Such a thing made him feel cozy. It made him feel welcome, it made sense. He wanted to be here, wanted to be among other people who understood him and wanted the best for him. Anything less was an insult, a disgrace to what she wished to have done or could have done in such a place. It was such a nightmare that she almost gave up on wanting anything else. Such a thing made her smirk, but it couldn't last, not without some sort of a miracle.

He hummed as she leaned against him, resting her forehead against his. it made a smile cross his face as he looked around, too unsure of what had been coming as of now. He didn't know what else was going to have been an odd thing when it came down to it.

He clicked his fingers, looking down across the room. He hadn't the proper idea of what tomorrow would have been when it came down to it. He was tired, thrown off by now. They had such issues upon the mind when it came down to it.

"So, you plan on running off base when today is done?" Hao questioned as he took a little breath which blew her ponytail away from her.

He hadn't the proper idea before now. A small mirth of a smile slowly started to creep across his face, there was a few traces of sadness across his face, and there were a lot more traces of such things evident on his face. He smiled to himself before now. This was a lot more to have focused upon. He tilted his head to the side, making him blink.

"Nope. I don't have enough supplies to get going anywhere and I don't want to steal from the army anyway. It's just not cool. It's not cool at all, it's just weird when it comes down to it." Ty Lee stated before she raised an eyebrow.

"Then there's a spot on the base you can spend a few nights when it comes down to it," Hao said to which Ty Lee stated before he rubbed his temples, too unsure of what was going on before now.

Such things had yet been thrown off, making him weirded out, thrown off by the most of it.

He hadn't focused before he questioned what to have to do next. He hadn't the proper idea, for now, he didn't know what they'd be doing, how well this was going. He was scared more for her than for him. They'd just think he'd be fooling around. Such odd things had been a weird focus, something that hadn't yet been focused upon now.

He was a lot more of an odd thing, someone who had been caught off guard by her the most as he did so. There was a lot more to this outrage than there had been for now.

Such things weren't going to be over for now. They had a lot more to question before it was over before he seemed to have focused on when it came down to it. They had a lot more problems before it was over and over it.

He had more upon his mind. A lot more that hadn't yet focused more and more upon such things. He didn't know what her next move was, but he did know that such things had been beyond their control. They had to be ready.

Ty Lee glanced around for a second before she nuzzled into her friend's chest. There was a few seconds of silence as she questioned what else could have been bothered, for now, bothered a lot more to have been trying to have gotten there.

He was able to have relaxed, a lot more relaxing than he had been before now. He hadn't the proper focus as of now. They hadn't the proper idea of what to have done, too much had been on their mind.

He didn't know what else was coming. He didn't know what else was coming or how badly he could have done such a thing as of the time being when it was over before he was a lot more to question before it came down to it.

She leaned on his chest, her ponytail dropping over his shoulder before she seemed to have a lot more upon her mind. This was a lot more to question while he tilted his head.

Ty Lee seemed to question before it was over. She was happy, she was at peace, and she wished to have been at peace. It was a nice day anyway and she hadn't yet seemed to have been understandable when it was over. They hadn't the proper idea before it was over.

Yet? Such things had been odd, such things cut through her mind and made her question just what the hell was on her mind.

(Current times)

Hao sighed and rubbed his temples. This had been worse. He was too tired, too unsure of what to have focused upon. He hadn't the proper idea of what this was going on for now. He wasn't sure of what to have done next, he wasn't when sure of what the problems were on his mind.

He didn't know what to have done when it came down to it. He tilted his head, he looked up into the space. He was too unsure, uncertain of the war and how this could have gone differently. Such issues bothered him more and more.

He was tired, far too tired before now. He hadn't the proper ideas as to how to get onto them. He was too unsure of what to have done such a thing.

He was mad, perhaps this could have gotten to this point. He wasn't going to let the war get the best of him. He wasn't sure. He wasn't certain. No. This was all too much for him, all too much.
