Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of War. Enjoy the 3000-word chapter. I don't own Avatar, Nick, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Bryan Konietzko do.
Ty Lee leaned into Hao's chest for a moment, relishing in the heat after having spent so many days on the run on the somewhat cold night. It was… Refreshing. Enjoyable in a way that only she felt it could have been. Yes, refreshing was honestly a good way to have described it as of now.
Hao hummed, too thrown off to have said anything. He was tired, thrown off mostly by how often this had happened, it didn't entirely make the most sense. However? He knew better than to have said something. It would have just ruined the moment and gotten them in far worse trouble when and if someone decided to have found them to where they had to have gotten.
She rested her head on his, smiling happily as she nuzzled happily against her new friend, one who had rarely been something that had happened or could have happened.
Both shared a smile as they looked around. There was a lot more upon which he could have done such a thing. It hadn't yet gotten where she had needed to.
"You think we're going to fall?" Hao questioned as Ty Lee shook her head and glanced around the room. "Why? It's a long way down and I don't know how long I think we can stay up here." Hao said as he rubbed at his nose, too unsure, caught off guard, this hadn't been what he had expected to have happened today, it didn't matter much as of now, only that it happened, that the point was spread too thin for them to have gotten somewhere.
Hao didn't yet question when it was all over. He tilted his head before now. He knew had a few problems that this had gotten on his mind… It hurt oh so bad that it cut through his mind now.
He turned to her as she smiled, hugging him as they slowly rocked back and forth on the pillar. It had been a nice moment. He had a small smirk gracing his face as he did so, there were a few small moments of him thinking more and more and more about now. Such a thing had been odd, but he managed it. He owned whatever small piece of amusement was written all over his face.
He knew nothing mattered for now. It hadn't yet been a lot more of a weird thing. He was tired before now. There was a lot more upon while as of now.
"This is nice. I don't know what else will be happening… But this is nice." Hao said to which Ty Lee rolled her eyes. "What? It's a lot nicer than it could have been. I don't want to fall off the damn thing and onto the ground. That sucks, this is going to suck if we fall onto the ground." Hao said before he sighed as of now.
He didn't know what the next few hours were going to have been brought down to such a degree. It had been an odd thing, something that could have happened next. It was nice, he finally understood what such a thing was for now. They had a problem; they had an answer.
She nuzzled his face playfully, making him question if he wanted to have come down from this. He didn't exactly think he cared. It wasn't much to him, but he wasn't constantly able to have gotten such a thing down without the power that was growing inside his gut.
She made him feel warm and welcome. It was nice to see such a thing become an odd thing. It had made him smile, making him tilt his head as he glanced around. There was just so much upon his head.
"Do you want to fall, silly?" Ty Lee questioned to which Hao shrugged. "You're silly… Your aura very glows, very glow, it's nice when this is for the time being. I don't think of how well that could have gone with such a thing." Ty Lee said as she shrugged.
There was a moment of silence as he could tell that something odd had been going on. Much nicer than he had been a few seconds ago. It helped him be reminded of what had been done and what had been lost. He hadn't the proper idea… Not at all when it was all over.
This had only gotten such a way due to a few choice words for now. It hadn't been more than a few seconds, but it did tell him how.
She hadn't been ready. She wasn't prepared for the worst. There were always a few seconds of things that hadn't yet gotten off my mind. It had been something horrible. He hadn't yet gotten to such a place.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee asked as she smiled at him, tapping his chin. "We need to be ready for anything." Ty Lee seemed to question what she had done for now.
"There's a lot worse to have gotten off with now… Yeah? There are a lot worse things when it seemed to have gotten when it's all said and done?" Hao questioned before he seemed to have off the second before now.
She tilted her head before she looked up at the ceiling, she nuzzled into him. She smiled, flashing a giant smile as she did so. Ty Lee tilted her head, drumming her thumbs on the nape of his neck. He hadn't gotten to where it had been to where she had been. There was just so much more that had yet to have gotten where this had gotten to.
He hugged her, looking down at her full brown eyes which blazed with light. She looked so full of light. Her hair washed over her face, framing her face. She looked so peaceful he almost didn't want to have done something like this. There was a lot more he could have done for now.
There was a smirk on his face as he felt his fingers slip down her side, one of them rested on her stomach and the last one rested near her foot.
Before she could say anything? He felt his fingers slowly start to dance over her skin, bringing a laugh to her face as a giggle was forced to drive itself from her lips. She snickered and chortled for a few seconds before she glanced at him. she felt her shoes which she had forgotten she had slipped on to walk across the base fall to the ground, exposing her feet as she sighed, forcing her to wrap herself around her friend, trying to make sure that such a thing had been impossible. She knew more than he that something had been a problem… However? It had been one for late and not now.
"You're lucky your cute or else I'd be getting some pretty terrible payback, you know that?" Ty Lee asked as he blushed to which she laughed. "Aw, it's too easy for you to get you to laugh when it comes down to it. You're easy to make blush." Ty Lee said before she hummed.
"Are you worried about someone messing up your groove?" Hao questioned to which there was a shrug, only making him sooner or later have to bend into this choice, making him sigh as he did so. It was so odd, so weird.
It had only served to make him laugh and laugh and laugh. It was such an odd thing, something that had bent out of control with the more time and effort applied to it. However? He was happy that such things had been found and understood. He didn't know what would come and what would happen, only that this chaos had yet bothered him.
"We need to get going sooner or later. We're going to get caught if we stay here sooner or later. We both know that they're crazy enough to come in here soon." Hao stated before he clicked his fingers. "And we both know we don't want to deal with that," Hao stated while he rubbed his nose against the bridge of his nose.
He knew she was just going to mess with him sooner or later. She had a lot more problems when this seemed to have gotten over it. He wasn't prepared for what had been on his mind. He didn't know what this had been when it came down to it.
She knew that something of the time being. This problem hadn't yet been questioned before it was over.
"Something is going to have been worse. We both know what will happen next. Well, I kinda do. Things like this? They don't wrap up the way when it came down to it." Ty Lee heard seemed to have gotten where she seemed to have been present for it.
"And what will happen when this is all said and done? We both know just how well this is going to have lasted. I don't know what will happen next. Honestly? The next part scares me a lot more than this." Hao said before he rubbed at his nose before he sighed, too surprised and thrown off to understand what was going to have happened.
All he knew about this was that it'd have collapsed somewhere down the line. This never lasted sadly. Friendships and the military? The only way that lasted was if one side was better at slaughtering the other side or someone quit the team. Yes, this was all too weird, all too interesting for now.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee questioned before she raised an eyebrow at this.
He turned, perhaps thrown off by this as she readjusted herself, her long legs wrapping again around his chest and her arms finding purchase around his neck and snaking down towards his chest. She had been something beyond what it should have been. All that it meant was he was finding it cool. It wasn't terrifying as of now and more terrifying than it had any right to be.
He sighed and looked down at the ground before she giggled and picked up her ponytail which dripped down onto her arm. She wrapped it around his arm as he rolled his eyes, there was amusement as of now as she seemed to make him laugh, there was a lot more on his mind… A lot more that hadn't yet gotten where it should have been.
She kicked her arms and legs back and forth before she seemed to have found an amusement within this sort of thing. It was just making him more and more thrown off by such a thing. All it told him was to show ridiculous this all was.
Then again? He supposed yet questioned to have been before he seemed to have gotten that this had been. There was a lot more to have tilted his head, to make him bamboozled. Yes, today seemed to be full of such surprises, even as he seemed to have been tired.
He seemed to have been bored with what he seemed to have gotten where it seemed to have been worked out. He seemed to have gotten to a problem. He had yet to have been bored with it and questioned what it was all done.
(Present day)
Hao looked around before now. He hadn't the proper idea of what had been done for now. He was a lot more to have gotten when it was all said and done… Hao had a lot more problems here than he had before. So many more than now. Something the general had yet to get off the ground so far.
Well? To him? This terrible curse hadn't left. It couldn't have. Not when he wanted it to have. Such a problem vexed him more than it should have before. The problems he had on his mind were cutting his mind to pieces.
This was a lot worse than he had been through before. A lot worse. The fact that some officers wanted this position? Yeah, he knew why, he knew why they wanted the power and control. There were a lot more things he hadn't yet gotten over… And this was just one of them in his mind. Such things bothered him to know half of the military only cared about the perks of being the leader of the military.
Oy did his brain hurt with all this garbage slamming through it? it honestly felt as if all of them wanted the top dog seat but they only cared if they got it at the cost of everyone else.
It was terrible. Honestly, it was some of the worst garbage he had to put up with in life. He rubbed at his temples, too unsure of what worked and what didn't. Those problems failed so far… As they always did. It bothered him, sure… But they melted away given enough time and effort.
He snorted at the idea that he had to put up with such antics. He did when it was all over with. The things made him laugh as he realized many of them had very little idea of what it took to command soldiers on the frontlines.
He didn't know how those insane madmen had gotten their jollies off to such a degree, but it'd end today with all of the effort poured onto it. they'd end it today or not at all. It had gotten out of hand when push had come to shove when all of this was all said and done. It had been so weird and unwilling for now that it broke such a mind like his to glass over and over and over again until it shattered on the floor. Such a thing had been beyond her control. That was all she could do or say to get her mind off it.
There was a lot more to have a lot more to question for it. He tilted his head up at the ceiling, he hadn't yet questioned what it had been at the time. He clicked his throat against the wall. He tilted his head while he did.
Ty Lee had prepared for the worst when she had gone to the circus when it seemed to have gotten where it should have been. He raised his eyebrows and then glanced around the room and entirely focused. She was bored, but it was all too much.
She smiled and placed her dainty fingers on her face before stretching his lips into an oversized smile as he rolled his eyes.
"You're so funny, it's weird." Ty Lee to which she could only smile at her friend who had been so bored, so thrown off by this that it hurt.
The idea of what she had done or was going to do? Well, it was odd. She was so very weird at the end of the day. There were a lot worse problems. There were a lot more problems that were going on and on and on. All that this told him was that he'd be ruining things he didn't wish to have been dealing with. There was just too much more he could have done. Yes, this had to have been something he could have done for now. This was such a horrible thing.
He didn't know what else was going to have happened. There was more to this little game than he had wished.
"You're the silly one. You want someone to get all unrelaxed when it comes down to it." Ty Lee said to which Hao sighed and rolled his eyes and seemed only to have gotten where it could have gotten worse.
All this did was push him further and further now. This had gotten him far enough to where he had wanted it to have been. The problem was how long it'd have lasted. All he knew was that it'd have been far worse.
"I don't think that's even a word, Lee. I don't. it all comes down to how we choose to be… I just choose to be who I choose to be." Hao added as he sighed and rolled his eyes with amusement. "Sides? It's fun messing with you like I'm doing now. There's something else here, you know. I don't know what's going to happen, but I do know that we're going to have fun messing with each other. Your one of the only people who doesn't act like you're all uptight and strict." Hao said while he sighed and started to question what else was happening.
Ty Lee heard something as she smiled before she clicked her teeth and smiled while leaning on her friend. She felt safe and secure as she cozied up to him. it made her smile as she realized just how terrible it all could have been or would have been with such a problem. I didn't know what else would have happened. He didn't do more than smile, but he clicked his fingers together as he did so.
This was odd, sure… But there were a lot worse things here. A lot worse things he couldn't at all understand. All he did know was that this was going to have bugged him for a much longer time than normal.
He rubbed at his nose, too bored and unsure to have gotten where it should have been. All he knew was this had to have done something terrible for it all to be going up and down. He didn't. He just didn't seem to have been tired before he got
