A/N: Hello again ! it has been so long since I posted a story here. I missed this community! Anyways, here's chapter 2 with 6k words! So I can vanish for another week before I have to write again.

Chapter insights: You and Narcissa get intimate again, and then you need to leave for Hogwarts.

MC's POV

To say that I am hot and bothered was the biggest understatement in my life right now. It feels like my body is on fire, craving for some much-needed stimulation. But still, in the back of my mind, there was that nagging voice that was telling me this was a bad idea. Crushing on a Malfoy was a bad idea.

"She's only a Malfoy by marriage," I try to convince myself. "But, she probably wants me to marry her son." I think again. I groan in frustration, this is all so very confusing! My feelings, her feelings, my parents' feelings, Draco's feelings!

I try to regain my composure before we went inside the manor again. Narcisa was leading me to her room, but I had other ideas. I'm not about to have this talk or have sex with her in her room with it being in proximity to the room where her son is sleeping.

"Can we actually go to the library? I have a reading nook up there and it would much be more appropriate. Plus I wouldn't want to wake Draco." I say adjusting my stance, my arousal has been so difficult to manage, I curse myself in my head.

Narcissa obliges my request to move locations, I know every quiet space in this household so we wasted no time in getting to our destination.

Once we reached the entrance to the library, I made sure that 'Mione was not around. That girl has the habit of waking up in the middle of the night just to read, it was so jarring at first, I thought she was sleepwalking. Turns out her thirst for knowledge knows no time.

I let Narcissa in my reading nook, only I and Hermione know of this place, as I had Ducky build the room from freshmen year.

Narcissa stood there admiring the room, now with her coat back on; she looks like someone from the movies. I stopped myself from gawking at her and proceeded to the row of books that was in front of me. Rummaging through the books, I try to remember which was the false one that had my stash.

"Found it!" I say as I pull out the box that looks exactly like a book. Narcissa studies me quizzically, raising a perfect brow at me.

"Stash, found! I say triumphantly opening the box and taking out a hip flask engraved with my family crest and a pack of muggle cigarettes and a lighter.

I opened the window as I lit one, looking at Narcissa motioning if she wanted one. She shook her head no. "Smoking is bad for your health dear."

"Well, I said before. I know I shouldn't but I am." I say as I take a puff, blowing smoke out the window. "It's not like my parents don't know. They pretend to not know but they do." I say to her taking another drag.

Narcissa sat at the edge of the day bed near the window, her negligee riding up on her thigh. I try not to stare but she makes that hard for me.

"I'm sorry." I start, avoiding any eye contact from her at all.

She looked stunned at the words that had left my mouth. Her brow knits together in confusion. "What are you sorry for my dear?"

"I don't know. I just am." I say blowing the smoke from the cigarette out. "I guess it's for kissing you when I got angry."

She chuckles, I don't know what's funny about what I said but she chuckles. "Darling, you have nothing to be sorry about. Especially for kissing me. The part where you were angry was a tad bit adorable. But nonetheless, it is forgiven. I never would've expected any other reactions to your buttons being pushed."

I try not to roll my eyes at her, so I opted for a long drag of the cigarette between my fingers and just feel the smoke fill my lungs. Against again my better judgment I asked. "So let me get this correct, you want me to marry your son, but you; and I quote 'have a thing for girls with dark brown hair who thinks she could fight with a Black sister.' ?"

Narcissa scoffed, "I never said that you should marry my son. I seem to recall that I told you that I am as much in the dark regarding the stipulations of your arranged marriage to my son. But by no means did I explicitly say that I want you to marry him."

"This is fucked up." I say.

"Language, darling." She warns, "Good girls do not swear like they're common bystanders in Nocturn Alley."

I shrug at her exposition. Finishing my cigarette and flicking the butt outside my window, I twist open the flask and took a swig of the contents. "So what now?" I ask, feeling the burn of the offending alcohol in my throat.

"Well darling, it's up to you really. I'm fine staying to talk, but if there is anything else you wanted to do, I intended to keep my promise and bring you some relief." She replies, crossing her legs.

I contemplate for another moment. It's not my fault she keeps turning me on. So what am I to do? It's a damned if I do and damned if I don't kind of situation. Again not my fault that I left the garden/woods alone.

She shifts again, obviously looking at me from head to toe. Like one misstep and I'm going to be helpless on the floor beneath her. I shudder at the thought, so I do the only thing I could, take another swig of the alcohol from my flask.

Narcissa's POV

The little darling's mind must be racing a thousand miles right now. I could see the conundrum in her eyes. I indeed meant the promise I had said to myself of getting to see and know the real her. The ins and the outs of her, everything from her mouth.

To my surprise, she walks over to me and straddled my lap.

"Is..Is this okay?" The little darling asked. "More than okay, darling. Tell me what you need." I utter.

"Honestly, Narcissa? I don't know." She says in honesty. She tried covering her face.

"Darling, you should never cover your beautiful face. Do you understand me?" I say to her sternly.

She nods. "Would you mind if I kissed you again?" She asks once more, her cheeks turning in a hue of red.

I smile, and nod. "Are you angry again?"

"No." She replies, trying to look away from my gaze. I took her chin in my hand and redirected her gaze back to me. "Look at me when you speak to me, darling."

Those little brown eyes of hers have that kind of fire that has its inquisitive nature. I couldn't help but want to look into them. She finally leaned in and I welcomed her lips on mine. Slower this time, like she's taking her time to find the correct way to make everything fit. Like she's figuring out a puzzle for the first time. Unlike the little escapade we did earlier where it was just lips smashing. Indeed this little darling has a fire within her.

She took my bottom lip into her mouth lightly nipping me, swiping my lip with her tongue. We took our time just being gentle with each other. I absentmindedly drew patterns on her skin, just above her pajama collar.

Her breath hitched when she took notice of what I was doing. I looked at her, feigning innocence.

She parted our lips but stilled on my lap, arms wrapped around the back of my neck.

"Yes, darling?" I ask.

"Nothing." She scoffs.

"Darling, there is nothing wrong with using your words," I say to her. "How else would you communicate what you want and need?"

I tucked some stray locks away from her face. Leaning once more forward but stopping midway, giving her the decision to close the gap or pull away.

"Narcissa." She breathes, just above a whisper so I hear. "Please."

"Please what darling?" I say again, my fingers now tracing the lapel of the pajama top, "Go on darling, I promise this is going to be just between us."

And there it was, that fire accompanied by her soft brown eyes just bored into my soul. "Kiss me." She says, planting her ass firmly on my lap, as she tugs on the robe I was wearing to close the gap.

MC's POV

The way Narcissa was kissing me was indescribable, she was gentle and rough at the same time, and a few other paradoxes I could only think of while she has my lips captured.

Her hands were on my hips digging into my covered skin, while her lips move in synchrony with mine. She took my bottom lip between her teeth biting and pulling, not enough to draw blood but just enough to give that sharp sensation bordering on pain and pleasure.

I am hyperaware of her hands making its ways inches within me, first toying with the hem of my top, and now gradually touching the skin beneath the fabric I was still in.

We part for air, and her chocolate eyes make their way back to mine. "You're beautiful dear."

I blush, biting my lip to try and make a smart retort. But as Narcissa would have it she said to use my words. "Have you seen yourself?" I ask, gesturing to her appearance,

She smiles, "I haven't heard that in a long time."

"Then Mr. Malfoy is an idiot!" I say staring right into her eyes.

"Yes, I supposed so. Lucius was never one for romance." She laughs.

Feeling more comfortable, I guide her hands further up my body, she's surprised at the initiative. I just look at her dead in the eye, looking for any sign of hesitancy. But there was none, I guess when you're a powerful witch from a powerful family there is no hesitancy in whatever you do.

Her hands kept their pace before they reached my breast, slow and tortuous. I was practically straining in anticipation of when her nimble fingers would reach their intended location. When her nimble fingers finally came in contact with my flesh, my body erupted like wildfire. Spreading throughout me from within, like I suddenly have a fever and only Narcissa is the cure.

She palmed my breast gently, making sure to go over the peaks of my valleys. Taking each between her fingers and lightly squeezing. The arousal pooled in my south once more.

Narcissa's hands retreated outside of my clothes, I could almost whine at the loss of sensation. As if reading my thoughts "I'm just going to unbutton your pajamas, darling. My hands will return." She smirks.

I blush hard once again, as she expertly pops button after button out of its hold only to leave my top open, the sides of my breast just in view of her gaze. She looks at me, from my eyes to my neck, to the opening of my top. "So beautiful." She mutters under her breath.

The blood in my body must be going haywire, alternating places from my face to my core.

She ran her thumb on my lips, down my neck, to the space between my breasts. She continued her paused ministrations. The contact of her skin on mine made my head swim, I had to silence my brain for a second to savor her touch.

She pushed the top off my shoulders with her free hand, the light from the lit candles in the library giving off a soft cast of light across her features, her eyes turning a darker shade when she finally took in the sight of me half-naked on her lap.

I bit my bottom lip from the sensation of her hand on me, the alcohol finally making its way to my head increasing the ecstasy I'm experiencing. Leaning back, arching to her touch as she once again has my nipple between her fingers, squeezing and tugging at the small piece of flesh.

My hand made its way to her locks, grabbing a fistful of her hetero-chromic hair.

No words were spoken, but her eyes were saying that she was intent on breaking me to pieces which I was not aware of myself.

My hips must've had a mind of their own as they moved to create friction with Narcissa's thigh. Which did not go unnoticed by the older witch in front of me.

"Eager are we darling?" She says as she places a hand on my thigh to prevent me from slipping off her lap. Her hand is still on my teat pinching a little bit harder now.

My hips roll with her movement on my chest, the friction I was trying to create seemingly not enough to bring me to the goal of release, I need to get out of these bottoms.

Stopping the rolling of my hips, Narcissa looked at me with concerned eyes. "Are you alright darling?"

I fervently nod, "I just need to get out of these." I motion to my trousers. Standing up to remove it and went back to straddling her again. I could feel my arousal dripping on the side of my thigh and now on hers too. My slick instantly lubricated her skin which came into contact with my folds.

I practically whimper as I rocked my hips on her lap. Her hands shift from my thighs to my ass. Firmly gripping my cheeks, engraving her nails on my skin. "That's it darling, such a good girl." She coos.

I grab onto her shoulders for dear life, feeling my arousal building like a tide that was being held back only to sweep me off my feet and carry me to the middle of the ocean.

I crash my lips on hers when I exploded. Coming undone on her thigh, mouth agape; back arched, with tears in my eyes as she helped me coax out my remaining climax. She whispered reassuring words in my ear as I just sunk into her chest, hearing my heart in my ears mixing with the words she was uttering.

We collapsed on the sun bed by the window, thankful to the dark draperies that were concealing my nakedness. Her arms snaked around me while I laid on her chest willing my still racing heart and blood rush to return to normal.

There was nothing said between us, just the sound of our breaths and the crackle of the floating candles in their holders. She ran her fingers through my hair, I close my eyes and try to relax, trying to remain in that bliss before I speak to her again.

I hear her hum a tune unfamiliar to my ears, she continues running her fingers through my hair. And before I knew it my eyelids grew heavier, she continues to hum the tune, finally giving in to the sweet slumber awaiting me.

Narcissa's POV

I can still feel her wetness on my thigh, I could tell that she was trying to keep awake. But I have seen how tired she had gotten working herself up for her sweet release. Her bravado was not faked this time, especially when she asked if she may kiss me.

I try not to shift as I watch her chest rise and fall in a steady rhythm. She is finally asleep. I carefully place her head on the throw pillow, sliding out my numbing arm from her sleeping frame.

I wrap myself in my robe once more, picking up her strewn clothes on the floor, and looking at the little dear slumbering beside me. I looked at the clock inside the nook and realized that it has been hours since we had our little rendezvous. She's leaving for Hogwarts in a matter of hours.

I quietly placed a kiss on her forehead, and hurriedly make my way out of the room back to her room to try and look for new pajamas.

I tiptoed around near the door of her room, casting a silencing spell around me so I do not disturb her sleeping friend. To my surprise, she is fully awake. Taking her belongings and placing them in her trunk. I quickly end the spell in silence as Hermione notices me past her door.

"Good morning, Mrs. Malfoy." She greeted curtly, avoiding my gaze and quickly shutting her trunk.

"Good morning." I greet back, instinctively wrapping my robe around me tighter.

"Have you seen my friend around? She seemed to have been missing since I woke up. I wanted to look for her but, I know when she needs her time alone." She asks, still avoiding my gaze.

I blush, remembering her naked sleeping body in her reading room, and the little activity we had done earlier. I feign a cough to mask the rising blood on my face. "I haven't seen her, I'm sorry." I lie. "If I see her, I will make sure to mention that you're trying to locate her."

"Thanks, Mrs. Malfoy. She still needs to pack her things, although I already took the liberty of organizing everything for her. I know she doesn't like it when I pack for her. Especially her art materials."

I nod, looking at the neatly piled clothes on the bed, along with some books, and art supplies.

I walk out of her room without any more words with Hermione. Glad that she was too preoccupied with being intimidated by my stature to notice my beet-red face.

I summoned the house-elf Ducky to try and wake the little darling. Ordering the creature to bring her a fresh pair of pajamas along with reminding her of packing her things and that Hermione is looking for her.

Ducky complied with my request, I generally try to avoid threatening the house elves that serve our noble line of families I know. Lucius would always resort to foul behavior but I do not like it when he behaves like that.

I hurried back to the room I was previously in, rummaging through the trunk I had Trixie bring here, trying to find an appropriate set of robes before I send my boy back to Hogwarts. Four more hours before the train leaves. I have been up all night with her, but I got what I wanted and learned a few more things about the youngest Peterson.

I smile to myself, intent on seeing her again after the semester finishes until it suddenly dawned on me. She will have to decide by then. That thought made my heart sink.

MC's POV

The draperies did too good a job of hiding the rising sun from my eyes. Couple that with the sudden apparating of our house-elf Ducky beside me while I was in the nude.

Confused and still lacking sleep, I scanned the room for any signs of Narcissa. I frown when I didn't see even a wisp of her bi-colored hair. I immediately grab the neatly folded clothes by the foot of the day bed and drape them on my naked body.

"The lady of Malfoy House has given Ducky orders of waking you and bringing you some fresh clothes Ms. Peterson. I have also been instructed to let you know that your muggle friend has been looking for you." Said Ducky, hands covering her eyes.

"Did Mrs. Malfoy also say to cover your eyes?" I ask, narrowing my eyes at Ducky.

"Y-yes. She had mentioned that you were exhausted and I should not walk into my master's indecency without covering my eyes." Ducky mentions it again.

I blush hard at the fact that Narcissa had been sweet enough to send Ducky with a fresh batch of clothes. Though I am a little bit irked at her for leaving me in the middle of my sleep, naked.

I made Ducky leave the room so I can get dressed, glancing at the clock it was only three and a half more hours before we leave for Hogwarts. three hours and fifteen minutes if you count the travel time we need to get to King's Cross Station to get to platform nine and three quarters.

"Shit, I haven't finished packing. Mione is going to kill me."

My ear was given a beating the moment I entered my room, the barrage of 'Where have you been, I was worried you tried to run away!' and the glaring looks I received from Hermione were enough for me to hang my head in defeat and start packing the things that she had already readied for me.

I sigh, "As for where I was, I was just in the reading nook. I couldn't sleep and just wanted to read my worries away." I said slamming the lid of my trunk.

"And did it?" She asks.

I look at her dumbfounded like I didn't know the topic of our conversation that I started. "What?"

She groans audibly, 'Ugh, honestly Peterson! Half the time since London you haven't been yourself! You're so in it in your head."

I snicker, "You know you get so fed up by me, and still call me your friend."

"Well- I have to have some fun in my life! And stopping you from your self-destructive ways has always been fun for me." She laughs with me.

I shake my head, "It did. I had a chance to get out of my head for once."

"See! This is why the library is always the answer!" She says fake applauding me.

I take a bow completing our little performance. It's best that she not know that now my library is a different sort of special.

"Come on, we wouldn't want to skip breakfast!" I say, grabbing her hand and bolting out the door.

Narcissa's POV

As soon as the house-elf has informed the mistress of the house that breakfast is ready, I gathered Draco from his room. His face was sullen.

"Good morning!" I greet my son, "Are you ready for your train ride to Hogwarts."

He mumbled something in response, something about this arranged marriage with the youngest Peterson all being so stupid that he didn't want to marry her, he just wants to be her friend.

I scoot over the edge of the bed by Draco's side and pulled him into a hug, smoothing his blonde hair of some locks sticking upward. "Draco, whatever it is that she decides you must be strong for your father. I know he has roped you into this plan of wooing this young lady into marriage. But if it is not what she wants then you must be alright with that. And by her."

Draco could only nod. I know that school wasn't the best place for him right now, given all the things that had happened all these years, along with his father's vendetta against the Potter boy.

"Come along, our hosts had prepared a proper send-off for you three to Hogwarts. They must be waiting." I reach for his hand and drag him along to breakfast.

The spread of assorted breakfast items was massive for a handful of people. Lucius had sent an owl to inform me that he will just meet us at the station. Very typical of my husband, all wrapped up in his own business with the dark lord, I shook my head. What could he be planning?

We walked to the parlour where everyone was gathered for breakfast, Hermione, the little darling, and her parents were already seated. I took on the seat directly across from the brown-haired beauty that had me smitten.

I manage my greetings once more with the Petersons and Hermione, nudging Draco to do the same.

As we are already seated, Marina asked me if I had a great rest of the night.

I smiled at the Peterson Matriarch before answering, "Yes, you have a very lovely home, Marina. I never knew you had assortments of flowers in the garden." I say as I poured myself some of the tea.

The sputtering and coughing were to follow as I glanced in the way of the little darling, face obviously red, all eyes around the table are on her. But the flush on her face was definitely due to me.

"Are you alright sweetie?" Asked her mother, a chair away from her.

She flashed her thumb up likely to signal she was doing okay.

I smirk when I sipped my tea, continuing my recount of the lovely night that I had in their home. "I had a chance to walk around in the woods last night too. Very serene and quiet, a shame I heard noises and had to run back to the manor as I didn't have my wand."

The little darling coughs once again. Her face almost glowing red, I'm enjoying my time teasing her too much.

I offer my napkin to her, "Here dear. We need to do something about that cough. It's not healthy for you to come to school if you're ill."

Her breath hitched when our hands grazed together. She just furiously nods, her face beet-red.

"May I be excused..." She says standing up in a hurry. Dashing madly inside the house breakfast half eaten in her flit.

Her parents stirred in their seats asking what was going on with their little princess during this breakfast. Draco and Hermione just stared at their plate trying to ignore the commotion.

Marina got up to leave when I stopped her. "Marina, go on enjoy your breakfast. Let me handle this, as a thank-you for graciously letting us stay in your lovely home."

"Are you sure, Narcissa? She's been like this since the announcement of the engagement." Marina worries.

"I am. Go enjoy the food, Marina." I smile at her mother. "Behave yourself, Draco." I call after my son.

MC's POV

Narcissa's deliberate attempts at making me blush have been successful. Not that I minded the blatant flirting as soon as she entered the room. Eyeing me and all of that. But, my parents are at the table, and she's with her son!

Distracted, I made my way back to my room, sighing as I plopped myself on the bed. My face was still hot and my throat has been scratched for sure from all the almost choking and coughing. I groaned, this crush is crushing me so bad, that my brain gets addled every time she looks at me or speak.

I just lay and beamed at the ceiling, glad that I'm leaving in a few hours for Hogwarts, I get to clear my head at the very least and be with my friends. Far away from the distracting looks that Narcissa gives me.

"You didn't finish your breakfast." A voice came through from the doorway breaking me from my thoughts.

I prop up on my elbow only to see Narcissa leaning on my door, arms folded and eyes finding mine in an instant. I plop my head back once more trying to avoid having to look at her piecing brown eyes. "I said I have to be excused from breakfast, Narcissa."

She hums, the sound of heels clicking closer in proximity. "Your mother is worried." She coos.

I'm aware that she's now at the foot of my bed, directly in front of me. "They're always worried." I scoff

She sat at the edge of the bed, sweeping her robe under her legs so as to not crease her outfit. "They're your parents. They have a right to worry."

I made a face.

"Do not make faces at me, darling. I am simply the messenger." Narcissa said poking my side. "Are you excited to come back to Hogwarts? You leave in a few minutes. If you hurry back to the parlour you can still grab a few bites." She mentions, her skin inches away from my fingertips. I can feel her heat again

"I don't really have much of an appetite anymore for food," I say as I prop up myself again on my elbows.

She's looking at me so kindly, her soft brown eyes are so alluring that I had to stop myself from leaning in. Blinking the thoughts away I fully sit up and face her. "I'm thrilled to go back to Hogwarts, I'm looking to get a job at the Ministry of Magic so I have to do well this year."

She hums again, rubbing my arm. "I'm sure you'll do well this year. After all your muggle friend has been helping you study."

"She's best at that. Saving my ass from failing." I nod, trying to ignore her caress on my skin.

"Narcissa." I start, biting my lower lip to prevent me from saying the wrong words.

She hums in response, her brown orbs on mine again. "Yes, darling?"

"Nothing. Just, here." I say handing her a piece of paper from my pocket. "It has my number on it."

"Your number?" She asks, staring at the piece of paper. I have never seen such sheer concentration in her features before, it was adorable.

"Yeah, it's for the phone I showed you, Draco, and Mr. Malfoy last time when I spoke to Hermione. Hermione taught me how to use it, along with some other muggle things. I don't know why I would be giving you this since you hate anything and everything muggle. But I want you to have my number. It's better than having owls. Phones won't nip at you for treats and dead mice." I smile at her.

She smiled back even though completely perplexed at the random bunch of numbers scribbled on the piece of paper I handed to her. "Thank you, darling. I'll be sure to memorize your number. And see about getting one of these phones you are speaking of."

"The cell service is spotty in the castle, but sometimes I could connect calls from the forest. But I rarely have to use it, just for meeting Hermione and some of our friends. Unless you could get a landline like here in the house, then you could call me, and I- uh. I'm talking too much, aren't I?

She chuckles, "Not at all darling. Seeing you riled up about muggle artifacts is quite fascinating to me."

I blush again, resisting the urge to smile. Because if I do it would probably break my face in half.

I hear my mom call my name down the stairwell. Our luggage floated in the air signaling the time to leave the house.

"Well, I guess it's time to get moving!" Narcissa said a small form on her lips.

I nod, "I'll be right there!" I call after my mother. Narcissa had already made her way out of my room when I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer.

"I'll send you an owl, so you know when to call," I say to her, "that is if you want to." My voice hopeful.

"I won't miss it for the world." She replies.

I kissed her again, just a brush of my lips against hers. She smiled as I leave her in place, running down the flight of stairs to meet my parents and Hermione.

Narcissa's POV

The car ride to King's cross station was eerily quiet, the little darling was sat beside me, I could physically feel her vibrate from the sheer excitement. She animatedly talked to her muggle friend whilst taking shooting dagger glances at my son. A funny little anecdote to share with Lucius when I arrive back at Malfoy Manor.

The ride came to a halt when the thick of the muggle cars lined out the entrance of the station.

All of us lifted the bags on the trolleys provided and pushed our way to the busy station. The last of the bags belonging to the youngest Patterson was large, so i ought to help in lifting in onto the trolley.

As I reach for the handle of the trunk I feel my hand collide with hers.

"You don't need to do that Narcissa." She said a little loudly. "I mean, Mrs. Malfoy." She quickly says again.

"It's alright, dear. I used to do this for Draco all the time." I said looking back at my son who is now a little pink in his cheeks. "I remember when we used to haul all our trunks without trolleys."

Her mother and father laugh as I help place the last of the items of luggage on the trolley. Together we trot to platform nine and three quarters.

Draco and Hermione had already gone through the barrier, leaving us and her parents to go next, Marina and Philip had made their way hand in hand.

"So this is it." She says steeling herself before going through the barrier.

I grab her hand. "I have a gift for you as well, darling," I say keeping my hand on hers. "But you are not to open it in the train, nor in the common room! only open it when you are alone." I say as I handed her a small white box with a bow on top.

"Uh, thanks? But what's inside?" She asks, examining the box and shaking it in the process.

I stifle a laugh, "You'll know soon enough my darling. Your parents are waiting, it's nearing eleven, we should get going." I say as I grab her hand in mine going through the barrier together.

MC's POV

The dark cold tunnel of platform nine and three-quarters hid the blush I had on my face and the fact that I was holding hands with Narcissa Malfoy. Wife to death-eater Lucius Malfoy. If they knew of the certain proclivities of one Mrs. Malfoy, I didn't even want to think of that night between us. How she moaned in my ear or how she kept praising me on how I'm doing so well. It's a blessing to have to walk through this dark tunnel so I could compose myself at the end of it.

Narcissa let go of my hand mere inches away from the end of our walk, smiling at me as we were greeted with the worried faces of my parents, asking where have we been.

I had to make up some excuse of tying my shoelaces because they came undone.

"Hermione had already found a seat. And I think Draco has already joined his friends." Marina said pointing at the train. As usual, Lucius is nowhere to be found, all the talk about seeing his son off to Hogwarts was complete and utter unicorn crap.

'Thank you, Marina. I'll go ahead and see Draco." I say as I turn my back to them, only stopping as I offer my hand to the youngest Peterson. "Thank you, dear."

She shakes my hand and our contact lingers for a while until she cleared her throat. "Good luck at Hogwarts this year. You'll do well."

She smiles and nods, even waving me goodbye.

MC's POV

The train was quick to leave the station when the clock struck eleven. On board or not, the train will leave the station. I was glad to have caught a last parting glimpse at Narcissa, her emerald robes swaying at the speed of the train. She blew me a kiss. I hope no one noticed, or at least they thought that it was for Draco.

Settling down in the cabin that Hermione and the others were in, I took out the box that Narcissa had given me. Almost forgetting the precise instructions she had given me before we entered the barrier.

"But you are not to open it on the train, nor in the common room! Only open it when you are alone."

Which made me more curious about what was inside the box.

Mione slid beside me in the train cabin. "Gift from your mom?' She asks.

"Yeah, you can say that." I say as I put back the box in my pack, looking at the moving scenery. This year will be something. I'm just not quite sure about everything else. Especially Narcissa. But for now, I get to splurge on the treat trolley and hang out with my friends. Narcissa's gift are after all, for my eyes only.
