Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of War. Enjoy the 4700-word chapter. I don't own Avatar, Nick, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Bryan Konietzko do.

Ty Lee enjoyed life a rather odd little thing before now as to how it was to come up as to now. Ty Lee didn't understand it much for now, but she did find life rather fun and hopeful and made certain it'd remain that way now and forever. Perhaps after it all came together? She'd manage their time better if she could find a time to scratch some out.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee questioned as she looked around, tilting her head at her friend as she patted his thighs, interested in future antics. "This isn't going as well as you said it'd be and I just want you to notice that." Ty Lee said before she crossed her legs over her chest, it was all too clear these problems had yet to become out of control.

"Ty Lee? We need to get going before this comes to an end." Hao asked as he turned to look to the side.

It was clear these problems weren't easily over. He tapped her nose and she blinked, smirking at him as she held up her finger and then looked at him. Hao only rolled his eyes, glancing around the room as she did so. This was amusing and yet it could only last so long before now, a fairy tale dream with no end…. It bothered him a lot more than it felt he should need to have it do so.

"Whatever comes next? I just want you to notice that I care a lot about you… And secondly? I know, this wasn't going to be easy, we already knew that when we signed up." Hao added to which she frowned harder.

She was no soldier, not a warrior with years of combat training. Ty Lee was just a young girl with acrobatics training and some chi blocking which told her just how well she'd be on the front, and how well it'd need to end. Perhaps there was never going to be a permeant home for her. All of them were too far gone, too over the edge.

She clung to Hao, afraid if she'd let go that part of him would crumble away into nothing. It was a far longer time than she should have admitted. She'd like nothing more than to get out of here, it wouldn't end anytime soon, nor would it just vanish for now.

Hao didn't at all find her antics annoying, it was just her being herself and it was clear his departure would sadden her greatly. Hao felt some measure of happiness knowing that it shouldn't at all come to his mind.

Hao felt her wrap her arms around him as she smiled and cuddled him while it came down to it. This wasn't to be something that could have been handled with just a few blasted words and all of it come tumbling downwards onto them while she questioned what to do next.

It wasn't going to be an easy problem to end with. Now was something else. It would not end anytime soon and yet? Well, it needed to be said and done soon. What would come would come and would come.

Ty Lee looked at him before he slowly started to lean back on the beam before it was all said and done. She hugged him with interest as he tilted his head and looked at her with a laugh as of now. Ty Lee felt him return a laugh as she turned to him, he looked around, too interested in what to do next. Aace fell silent, utterly baffled by her response and yet at peace with everything and anything.

He kicked his feet around as if expecting her to fall if he did not respond. She was more than gifted enough to remain upon the pillar while he had to stop himself from almost plummeting into the depths of the place. All the idea did was remind him that Ty Lee was FAR more capable of being a warrior than he was. If they teamed up?

No enemy alive would be a match for them… Yet that meant letting their enemies suffer and Hao was not stupid, Ty Lee was no warrior, she did not seem to understand or like the idea of fighting which didn't matter much to him. The war was not for each person in the Fire Nation and it did not concern him. All of it was still terrifying either way to them.

No, what did was simple. Hao would be off to war soon; his troop was bound to be sent overseas soon and yet he was due for a promotion for some odd reason. Hao did do much at all to try and earn the spot he was to get. The idea just seemed to click into his mind.

Perhaps the idea was more than they were to bare and it bothered him to a massive degree. If anything at all existed? It was the idea such a problem would not last anytime soon not on her watch.

Still? The idea had merit and well? Hao wanted to try and be her friend, for now, it was worth more for the time being and it was clear to him they were distinct enemies nor would they be something less than friends.

Ty Lee fell silent as she tried to process what was on her friend's mind. It was so odd digging around within a steel trap of a cage on someone's noggin, it was always going to be like that, wasn't it? She did not at all know and Ty Lee was nothing if not understanding for now.

Still? All problems seemed to be more and more of an issue, it would need to end, Ty Lee could only imagine before now and looked upwards into the sky before looking back at Hao.

It would be amusing more and more interesting as of now, Ty Lee seemed to become more and more amused before now, only stopping to finally become amused, interested only in maneuvers beyond control.

Still? Ty Lee looked at Hao with a smile, interested in trying to hug him for now, fascinated by more and more questionable for now. It didn't at all surprise her Hao seemed terrified, only looking back at the woman a few seconds before raising an eyebrow and smirking before now.

"Life is going to be very odd, isn't it?" Hao asked, raising an eyebrow now, curious as to now. "Are you going to be properly, ok? I don't at all understand it now, there will be more factors to consider in life." Hao stated before raising an eyebrow and looking upwards and into the sky before smirking.

Still? Hao smiled before raising an eyebrow and looking upwards before smirking before now.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Ty Lee asked before raising an eyebrow and looking upwards. "I don't even know if I'm going to be ok… My friend going off to war and almost dying? You're going to get yourself killed, fighting for a person who doesn't care about you or anything for now." Ty Lee asked before raising an eyebrow.

"Life isn't going to be easy when you're a soldier, Ty Lee. I want to try and think about if we can win the war on our terms." Hao stated before frowning to himself. "Trust me, I know nothing going forwards is going to be easy, it's just part of life… I'm a soldier, I know if you're going to be ok." Hao stated before raising an eyebrow and looking upwards.

"Life is going to be hard without a friend like you." Ty Lee stated before looking upwards and into the sky. "Are you sure? Life will be easy if I had you around." Ty Lee said, kicking her feet around before smirking and poking him in the nose.

"Are you sure you're going to be able to be able to relax?" Ty Lee asked before Hao frowned to himself before frowning to himself.

"War isn't a vacation and it's not pretty, Ty Lee. I am a soldier, yet? I can understand why you are scared, are you sure you are, ok?" Hao stated before frowning. "War isn't a game. I don't know what to tell you and I don't know if I'm going to be like." Hao said before frowning and looking down at the ground in abject anger.

It'd be a lot more of an interesting topic if they wouldn't need to go soon, it'd need any issues to die out before now it was going to end… Yet? Ty Lee was not stupid; Hao would be a soldier simply to give up if anything. All it did was make Ty Lee happier, for now, eager to be able to relax and relax properly.

It'd ended sometime soon before it ended as of now looking as the question before now slowly appeared and felt interested in all of life around her.

All of it was interesting and yet it was so odd and so terrifying for the girl at the same time… All so much easier and something capable of being handled for now… Yet? it might be easier to stop it, to see it end.

He was too tired to question it, for now, only pausing to look around. Hao was silent, utterly bored, tired for now, focused purely on other issues.

"You think if you're some fancy general your come to my show?" Ty Lee stated before smiling. "I want to be an acrobat and entertain people but I don't know if they're going to let me, I don't know if anyone is going to let me." Ty Lee stated before smirking, tired more and more at the end of the day.

Hao could only raise an eyebrow. He didn't expect to be a general anytime soon, it'd not be something he could entertain for now. such problems would continue, all of it seemed to be getting worse and worse. It'd need to end sometime soon.

All problems would vanish sooner or later, they'd not be able to relax anytime soon.

All of it was becoming tedious and tedious for now… It'd become more and more of a terror for now. All of it would end sometime soon and Hao knew this peace wasn't going to last… But being a general? That'd be a very odd little story, for now, one which they needed to try and understand.

Hao still hugged her tighter. Her fears were very valid and so were his, he didn't want to let go of a true friend anytime soon yet it seemed as if it'd be the path he'd have to walk.

"When did you plan to try out?" Hao asked before looking around as of the moment.

"Maybe 2 weeks, it's not going to be long before I go looking. I've heard about a circus not far from here that's accepting new people. If I get in? I'm going to ask if they let people be acrobats." Ty Lee said before yawning to herself.

It was clear at the moment she had a lot of spunk for someone who was still trying to grow, for now, all of it became amusing to him for now, only it didn't at all bother him.

"Yeah, if I can. I'll come; our first battles aren't even going to be far from here. They want us to defend against an Earth Kingdom assault that's targeting one of the important parts of the Fire Nation. If we win? There will be a few weeks of relaxing while the command tries to get everyone important together for the next strike." Hao stated as Ty Lee fell silent and questioned what else might do before now.

Hao didn't even know what to do at the end of the day. these problems seemed to become worse and worse. The war was going to become more and more painful for more than just the Fire Nation at the end of the day and it would be far more tiring.

"Are you going to be all right?" Hao stated before crossing his arms across his chest and looking upwards.

"I don't know, I've never expected life to get anywhere for now… Life had been getting a bit out of hand, it's aura had been grey for too long." Ty Lee stated as she looked around and felt more and more painful at the end of the day.

"I still don't know what aura is but I hope it's not that bad. You've been dealing with a lot if you run here for now. These sorts of things are weird at the moment, huh?" Hao asked before looking around.

"I don't know what to try and tell you, I'm just a bit tired of now." Ty Lee said before blinking. "Oh, Aura? It's what color your soul is. Yours is blue because of how laid back you are and how nice you are, mine is very amusing." Ty Lee said before clicking her fingers together, far too interested at the end of the day.

"Don't you mean pink? I don't remember if you told me, it before, we've talked a few times but I don't entirely understand for now." Ty Lee stated before looking around, only tired for a second.

These sorts of problems only existed at the end of the day. it was becoming more and more of an odd little distraction though and Hao was becoming far too used to it.

(Current Times)

Hao pet his animal and looked around for the time being. these sorts of issues seemed to be worthless ones, one easily dealt with.

"Sir? The assault on the shipyards will be in 2 days… I don't believe the supply fleet will be ready by then." Hao heard as he clicked his tongue.

"They won't, because that means seeing past the fact they're not as good as they think. We're not going to get any support. If you asked? They'd just find another excuse to ditch us." Hao said before sighing. "Get the men ready and tell them we're moving out tomorrow. The sooner we can secure the rest of the area means the sooner they get the fancy rewards." Hao stated before looking down at the ground.

Hao seemed to become far more and more of an issue at the end of the day. These problems only became far more annoying the more he had to interact with the more annoying members.

"Are we going to be ready for the next operation at the moment? We need to get going for now, the sooner we're able to relax without them shelling us. The sooner it will be easier to get over." Hao stated before he snapped his fingers and watched as it became odder and odder for him to reconcile.

(Years ago)

This appeared to be a small measure of peace, something that needed to be had at the end of the day and it was something that needed to get relaxed upon. Ty Lee was silent as she smiled.

He was silent as she hugged him, slowly starting to fall silent, and looked at her with amusement, a joy that he did not at all feel, for now, a joy that did not exist for quite some time and that wouldn't change.

Ty Lee was silent as she took in the stars. They had found a nice tree nearby to climb the same way… Though Hao would have had less success at this when it came down to it and that would be unlikely to change at the end of the day. Ty Lee was not stupid, they had a lot to discuss as both looked upwards into the sky, interested in what may or may come as a result. They had a lot more to try and fix and it was clear more and more to them if it continued their friendship would be destroyed.

Still? She had a lot more on her mind when it was all over. She had her career to try and deal with and a lot more problems to solve, something that could only continue to get better and better at the end of time.

She leaned back against him as he fell silent as he looked upwards and fell silent, utterly amused by it all when it came down to it. She tapped his legs playfully and it was amusing to him blush before she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.

She was all too silent before she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, interested before she blinked, utterly tired more and more at the end of the day. Hao was unsure what to say as he looked around, obscuring each little star in the sky as if they were twinkles of fire in the night sky. It was just so beautiful at the moment that he didn't at all wish to ruin it by speaking.

Ty Lee seemed to get more and more silent upon such issues. She crossed her feet under her as she tapped on the branch, almost bending in half at the end of the day like a superhuman pretzel.

There was a lot more to try and focus on and it was all too clear to try and handle at the end of the day.

"I think you might be good at your career when it comes down to it. I don't know many acrobats who are that good at your sorts of stuff." Hao said before frowning to himself at the moment as if unsure to try and handle it properly get a certain way…

There was a lot more to focus on and just too much time to try and do so promptly. It became harder and harder to breathe within this sort of bubble being placed at the end of the day, the idea of it all boggled Hao's mind and it was just too odd to try and circumvent without certain boundaries upon the way.

Still? He did not give up as he never did and never would. It was just too much to try and get to where it could be better handled, better focused upon, and dealt with properly.

They had so much more to try and deal with that all this did was make him all the more riled upward at the end of the day.

Still? There was a lot more to try and do and it became harder to try and reconcile with what was to come.

"Ty, I'm not going off to die in war. Trust me, I'm well aware of the fact it's not sunshine and happy hugs. It's a lot of people dying and a lot of people getting hurt… I joined partly because I want to STOP people getting hurt." Hao said before he clicked his tongue and slowly started to look down at the ground, utterly unsure of what to do.

"You are ok, aren't you?" Ty Lee stated before she sighed. "You know that you will kill a lot of people, right?" Ty Lee stated before Hao hummed and shrugged toward her.

"I joined the army because I want to make sure the war is going to end as fast as possible," Hao said as he leaned against Ty Lee's side. "I knew the war was coming, everyone in my family started to speak about it at the end of the day," Hao stated before he sighed and looked down.

"So, you want to become the leader of the army…." Ty Lee stated before he slowly started to fall silent, utterly unsure of what to try and speak.

"People will die either way. I don't want so much dead people… The best way to do that is to become the general of the army or at least a general… Then I can stop people or at least keep a lot more soldiers from dying for no real reason. It's the best course of action." Hao stated before he sighed to himself.

There was just more and more tiresome at the moment. All of it became harder and harder at the time while he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. He knew more and more at the time being, there were just more and more plans afoot and it was something else to try and handle.

Still? This was a nightmare beyond any boundaries at the end, something else, something better. It was an odd little thing to try and relax at it all. There still seemed a small burden, glowing within him, getting closer and closer to what needed to be done.

There were a lot more to try and understand. Still? Whatever he was used to slowly started to relax, utterly unsure and drawn in by something better, something elite, something better than what she was used to, better than it all. She didn't want to have to think about it or anything else.

She leaned her head against his one last time, knowing sooner or later she'd need to react, need to be able to relax and able to get her head around it.

"Ty? Do you want a promise from me? I'll send you a letter every single day, every single second that I'm not busy with this stupid war. I'll make sure you know I'm ok." Ty Lee heard as she turned around to look at him.

"You better make it the biggest promise you've ever done or else I won't forgive you, ok? Supergiant promise to the end of today and end of tomorrow…" Ty Lee stated before she playfully poked his nose. "I want to write you every single day that I am not being in the circus and when it's all done? I'm going to try and do so at the same time and then we're going to relax." Ty Lee said as Hao hummed.

"Only if you promise not to do something like this again. I don't want you to cry over a dumb idiot who keeps having to say sorry, ok? You're better than that, Lee, I want you to remember it." Hao added before he sighed and slowly began to think more and more.

There was a lot to need to do, a lot more at the end of the war before he could relax, anything less than perfect would not end it. still? he'd be asked to possibly do things that might consume him, might as well be worth it to try and make sure completely ready for it.

The problem was simply still. He couldn't be a monster like that. He wasn't one, not at all a monster like they wanted nor would he be willing to do the sorts of things they'd ask. Hao was a warrior but he was not a killer, not at least without good reason. No, this meant more and more to Hao that he'd have to play dirty.

"Ty? How long do you want to stay here? Besides forever I mean, I don't want you to think I don't care, but it's going to be a lot funnier than you think if we stay up here… Mostly because I'm going to get in trouble for a bit." Hao stated before he managed to relax.

He was utterly unsure for the time being, there was just more and more to try and get done at the moment, and there was a lot more he had on his mind that couldn't get done anytime soon. He didn't want to be able to relax and yet he was tired, utterly exhausted by it all, and too unwilling to change from his goals.

He had to get the war over with before now before anything else came down to try and handle it as well. He didn't at all prepared for now to try and figure it all out.

Whatever came next would probably haunt him more and more than it was possible to deal with, all of it was odder and odder at the end of the day.

It scared him that he'd become harder and harder to deal with his next move, the ideas were just too much and he knew it, knew in the bottom of himself.

She seemed to be all too much focused at the end to say something, he had a lot more to deal with and she hugged him as tightly as possible, conjoining them in heart as well as the soul. It was going to HURT to be away from a friend like her but neither was anything else.

These options became harder and harder to figure out at the end of the moment. It wasn't exactly something to try and figure out, nightmares to fathom at the end of the day.

Still? He was all too eager to find out, something that he could control sometime soon.

"I do not want you to think I do not trust you… But it will be quite terrible at the moment, I cannot lie… All of what you do will be terrible and part of you knows that no?" Ty Lee asked before he hummed and looked down at the ground.

She wrapped herself tightly around him, happy to try and hug him to her, pressing him to her as she seemed to be all too unsure of what to say next. She didn't want to go, she didn't want him to go anywhere, not without her and not without the ability to relax.

She was all happy to try and hug him, to press him to her touch as she was able to try and deal with it properly.

Ty Lee watched as Hao simply allowed her a hug from him as he patted her on the head, playfully unsure of what to try and figure out. She didn't want to know what else to do, she didn't at all know what to say or even do as of now.

It was odd but he didn't exactly fear it all, he feared not being good enough to relax. He didn't want to relax, all too unsure of what to handle next as she sighed and looked down at the ground once more.

He had a lot more war to try and handle sometimes and she tried to figure out such moments, she had a lot more to try and fight before. She didn't at all know what to say and do next before now as certain ramifications before now.

Whatever pain was right before now would continue to grow harder and harder at the end of the day before now. They had a lot more to lose… To gain before now, she cracked her fingers against one another more and more.

All more and more would come all to an end, something she knew and he as well, whatever she tossed at the wall would stick like an egg and crack like an omelet. She was not at all eager to let such a thing fall apart.

"You going to be, ok? There's a lot of stuff we can't do until I get back. I'm not going to lie, Ty. I'm going to miss you when I'm going to war, just want you to try and figure out it all." Hao said while he cracked his fingers.

They had a lot more to try and figure out what to say and do next before now, she didn't even know what to try and hope for something else. She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, too unsure what to deal with measures before now.

"Are you going to be able to relax without me?" Ty Lee asked, placing a hand on her friend's shoulders.

"I don't know, I've not had a good friend like you before now," Hao said as he felt more and more terrified.
