Overview
The main protagonist of the story. Akiza Izinski is the mysterious mobile suit pilot from the future who travels into the past with the Paradox Gundam with the intent of preventing the uprising of the artificial intelligence known as JUNO. However, upon stumbling at the final offensive at Jachin Due between the Three Ships Alliance, ZAFT, and the Earth Alliance, Akiza would unintentionally interfere with the fierce battle between Kira Yamato and Rau Le Creuset. The Paradox would singlehandedly defeat Le Creuset thanks to her ability to stop time in space, she also prevented the demise of Flay Allster.
Akiza is normally calm and level-headed even when under pressure. Underneath her "rough around the edges" demeanor lies a kind and caring person.
Trivia
-She is both based and named after the character of the same name from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, with her original Japanese name being Aki Izayoi. Much as with Gundam SEED Destiny's Shinn Asuka named after Ultraman Dyna's main protagonist, Shin Asuka.
- Keeping up with Gundam SEED Paradox's parallels to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Akiza's role in the story is primarily that of Yusei Fudo, with Flay being that of Aki herself. With her backstory combining Aki's and Aporia's.
