This time we're gonna see how everyone has been handling after the ordeal from the other day, and also trying to figure out what to do with the remains of the large beast, Rathalos, while someone else has other plans with the book she was given, and this might be leading to her own plan on going back home, and making sure she can help stop what she has done. Chapter 778: After the Monster Crisis.

(Royal Fortress.)

Located now somewhere in the South-West Pacific parts of the Pacific Ocean, and the base is at full capacity and everything has been repaired and the Great Gate is open and the Zerg army passes through, and led by a Zerg Broodmother, and they continue to send their forces to this world from where the Guardian, Gyro is planning to go back to.

Gyro smirks seeing this. "Well, it looks like Neil is bringing forth a whole lot of stuff, and just to help keep whatever is guarding the Sky Temple, at bay. I wonder what we will be facing when we get there."

Martin then goes over and he prepares everything on his tablet. "Alright, so all Zerg forces are accounted for, and all of them are inbound for…" He steps aside as an Ultralisk's walks by. "They're all inbound to the location of the world you seek, this is going to be intense huh?"

Gyro scoffs. "Not intense enough, we're gonna need a miracle if we are to stop the Sky Tower from opening a portal into the Infinite Corridor." He then looks towards Martin. "So, what news from the rest of the team? Are they still trying to reel back after what went down?"

Martin then explains. "That attack from the Rathalos was a tough and deadly defensive attack. We had to face that thing, and nearly lose so much in the hands of so much hell. Also, some of them are hoping that you can stop this before it escalates again."

"We got the two commanders contacting the rest of the realms and warning them of chances of a portal from which large and deadly monsters can come through, Neil has traveled to Azeroth to speak with the Dragon Queen and warn her of what they faced, and what might come to their world and bring harm."

"We can't access Runeterra still, and so that means we can't warn them of the whole outcome from which the monsters have come from, and the rest of the team are trying to sort out a new plan and strategy for when they face one of these monsters again and same goes with our base here."

"The whole thing woke us up, and that means we have to try and improve the defenses and other base frontlines to ensure that we can be suited for another monster attack, we're gonna have a meeting with Lincoln and Linka soon, they did read the books about the monsters and they might have a strategy on how they can take down the next monster attack, such as Elder Dragons."

Gyro nods. "Yeah, I get the feeling too, Martin. Look, we can sort this whole thing out with me when I get back, and I look forward with the new plans you guys have to ensure the next monster doesn't stand up against us." He then walks away from Martin and heads for the portal.

Then he recalls what else he has to do. 'Right, get a Rathalos egg and see if Marcy can handle that. She seems eager and she did tame the Light Fury.' He then walks through the portal and it closes.

Martin sighs and he goes back into the base, he has a lot of stuff to do.

(Somewhere inside.)

Martin makes it to the bottom deck of the base and he sees the analysts and other staff members they have are sorting through the fleshy remains of the Rathalos, and the beasts remains are held up above and they begin to check on every part the beast has.

Jack Cyber and Victor are testing out the strong bones of the beast and they are now testing C4 charges and the bone still seems to stand strong, and so they head onto the next test, and that would be the firepower of an Apocalypse Tank, combined with a Mirage Tank.

But among them, is Lisa Loud and she watches as the others are going through dissecting the remains of this massive monster, and then she sees Martin. "Mr. McKenzie, glad to see you here, has the Guardian left to venture to the other world and shut down the sky temple?"

Martin places his hands on the railings and he watches this go down. "Yeah, he did leave, and with a Zerg Brood mother, along with a whole lot of Zerg. Neil did come through with the army to back him up along with the monster hunters, let's hope they can handle the whole thing."

He then has a tablet and he goes through some stuff. "So, what do we got from knowing the remains of the dreaded King of the Sky, Rathalos?"

Lisa then explains. "Alright, so the skeletal remains are tough and durable and can survive explosives, but we need something sharp and strong to pierce through them in order to make them into weapons, from what the guardian said, the world this thing came from has hunters who rely on weapons made from such monsters, and the Rathalos has proof for something stronger."

"The skin is tough and strong, and it seems to be fireproof, and the scaled areas are durable enough to withstand the blast from a high explosive round coming from a tank and thus a suitable mix to make armour against most hostile attacks, and then we found what we have been seeking for… The fiery sac from which the Rathalos makes its projectile flames, it is rarely harmed and needs some repairs."

"Also, it seems to emit some form of powerful heating aura, and this we had to contain it within a cryo chamber to ensure it doesn't overheat, and it seems like the cryo is trying to hold it at bay, but seems to be a failed attempted, that explains why the Rathalos was slightly immune to iceborne shots when you all combated the throat source of the monster."

Martin thinks about this. "Interesting, also I do believe there is one thing that could help break through the hardened bone of the monster, I will need to make a call… To the sith Lord, Hollow. Perhaps kyber crystals could do the trick."

Lisa thinks about what he suggests. "That is a possibility to work, but we may never know until we get the materials for the job. Also, we should keep an eye on Victor and Jack Cyber before they do something else, they are already testing the…"

They see the bone deflects the round and the round goes back and blows up the gun. Jack cyber and Martin are scorched. "That didn't work." Victor then falls to the ground and Jack Cyber's arm falls off.

Martin sighs. "Well, this seems normal." He heads down to make sure they don't do anything else dumb.

Lisa looks through all of this and then she has some thoughts. 'This world of monsters and the sky temple seem to have a powerful connection with the Infinite Corridor, I pray for the guardian to resolve this and ensure that this act does not happen again.'

'Because we have not seen Lori taken down with such ease, and in the hands of something ten times bigger than she is. She can handle large foes, but to be knocked away and outsmarted, now that is new.'

(September 11. Spellman-Lewis Estate.)

At the home of the Spellman's, along with the Lewis, the folks there are taking a break after what they went through the other day and also be ready for the first Monday of the school year, and also whatever else is in store for Marcy at the clubs.

But right now, she's kinda busy with something else, and that something is the book on the Monsters from the world they came from and she continues to read the book, and all the while sitting on the roof of the building and her Light Fury flies around and plays with Nel'Thorious.

Marcy continues to read more and more about this world. 'Whoa! They've been there for so long, and they are still trying to make a living in that world?! Wow. That's pretty hardcore and tough for them to handle, maybe they'll accomplish their task and then make a living there.'

'There are so many different monsters, and a different variety of Rathalos, and some very impressive Elder Dragons, dang this beats the dragons and stuff I knew back on my earth, and so much more is yet to be known and well-explored.'

'These hunters stay within groups that they have been assigned to, depending on their strengths, traits and what other talents they have, and each division, or fleet is designated to a purpose. From exploration, hunting, foraging, to defending, and some of them amass as an army to fend off the biggest and most annoying monster around, called Zora Magdaros.'

'Wow. Sure wish I could check out this world, they're have such an incredible lifestyle and I could learn so much from them, but I have had my own training and learned from folks, well a folk who I thought I could trust and he made me who I am and betray mu friends and what they needed.'

Marcy puts the book away and she looks to the sky, as she watches three clouds fly by, and one separates from the others and drifts off. 'Don't worry girls. Soon, I will be back and show you all that I am alive and well. Anne, I'm sorry for tricking you and Sasha, I hope you're doing alright.'

'I hope they won't be too mad at me for what I did and what I have done, I just didn't wanna be alone, and even though I have friends and family now, it feels like I'm still alone, because I don't have my dearest friends with me.' She then goes through her book again, and then she has an idea.

'The Guardian said that to tame these monsters, it takes an egg to be taken from the monster itself, and that does sound wrong… But, perhaps some beasts could be useful to stop King Andreas and his diabolical schemes. I hope he hasn't unlocked more secrets from the box, otherwise, the rest of the worlds beyond are in peril.'

Marcy goes through the pages of the Rathalos, and she looks to the drawing of the Rathalos they have fought the other day, and she hasn't gotten over the looks of the beast and what it nearly did to the base. 'There has to be some way for me to tame one, and I can use them to help save my friends. Sasha can't fight this alone, she needs backup, even with the toads along her side.'

Marcy then looks to the dual monster daggers and they spark, and then she looks to the sky again. 'Hang in there girls, Marcy will be back soon. It's only a matter of time.'

A/N: Gyro will be back soon, in the meantime the others will handle the remains of the monster, and let's hope they don't do anything that could end up blowing everything up, and it seems like Marcy has her own thoughts, her own plans and her own goals.
