Chapter 12: A Visit to Frick Museum and Games
The next day, we all took a visit to the Frick Museum to check out a guided tour of the Clayton exhibit as well as some other free exhibits. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. "As much as I love cooking, I also love growing flowers, both of which I learned to do when I was in middle school," Carly happily stated. "The greenhouse is my friend!" "It's funny that you say that, Carly," Spencer stated. "You were really learning to do a lot back then," Mr. Benson happily stated. "Yes, the flowers are beautiful, all right!" Alex happily exclaimed. "I should grow these flowers for the center of my table for another party I host other than a sweet 16, even though that was enjoyable." "Everything about our senior year was enjoyable, Alex," Justin agreed. "Yes, and we can make more memories to come," Max happily agreed. After our tour of the Frick Museum was over, we engaged in a museum scavenger hunt and a game in which we are not allowed to say the word museum. We also had a candy hunt, Super-Sized Sumo Wrestlers, Exercise Video, Junk Food Dishes, a Prize Auction Game, Something is Glowing, a Limbo Contest, Three Words, and Telephone. We jammed out to NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Kate Bush, and Lizzo while playing everything. Then, we had a taco feast for a belated Cinco de Mayo festival. "What a fun birthday weekend I am having!" James happily exclaimed. "I am enjoying this, too, James," Henri stated. "So am I," Sarah agreed. "Who cares if I had one girlfriend named Sybil who did not want a perfect relationship with me or an imperfect high school picture? I feel like I try too hard with everything, including being an adult, because I do not look or feel 35 years old," James continued. "Yes, and that is perfectly fine," I agreed. "So, you guys don't think I need plastic surgery to look older?" "Of course not, Angel," Sarah replied. "You look beautiful just the way you are! God made you the pretty woman he wanted her to make!" "Thanks, Sarah," I remarked. "You look young for your age, too, but that is just fine because it is okay to look young sometimes." "It sure is," Sarah agreed. After we ate dinner, it was time for all of us to leave. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
