So, this involves a moment of happiness for Marcy, as she checks out the egg of the beast she has been given, and she is not alone. A lot of her friends and the others are concerned and confused about this, a beast that attacked the Royal Fortress, and it's an egg and under Marcy's care, and who knows what it would do when it does hatch, and what it would mean for the future. Chapter 787: The Egg from the Monster.

(September 22. Lewis-Spellman Mansion.)

Classes are done for the day, and right now Marcy is at the roof top of the mansion, and she is inside of a large room that sits there, and inside is a large nest where her Light Fury rests, and he is alright sharing it with the egg of the Rathalos.

Marcy continues to keep it warm, with whatever can be useful, she can't be able to hold this thing near any form of lava or something warmer, and that is why the large nest along with the warmth from the Light Fury would help, and also the enchanted torches there.

Marcy is wearing a white coat that can keep her temperature cooled down, as the enchanted torches make an aura of heat that heads for the egg, to make sure it remains warm. Marcy is cleaning the egg, to make sure the little guy has no dirt or anything bad for when it hatches.

"There, there. You're gonna be all cleaned up, and you won't have to be sick when you hatch." Macy then sees the Light Fury lick the egg and smile, and she pets his head. "We're gonna be here for you, and we're gonna raise you into something incredible. Just you wait."

Marcy then places a very warm towel onto the egg, and then she sits next to the nest and she reads her book on the monster hunter world, and the Light Fury, Moonlight leaves the dragon hut and takes off, to patrol the skies alongside the Netherdrake.

Outside, Lincoln, Luna and Michelle watch all of this go on. Then Luna asks. "So…. A Rathalos, the large king of the skies beast that brought us into a lot of hellish fight last time, is gonna be here but in smaller form, right?"

Michelle nods. "Sure seems like it, I know we should be deeply concerned about this. But we have to trust Marcy, she seems determined to make sure this doesn't turn bad, and I know she can handle this. She has been always reading the book, and she knows how to train and raise such dragon, right?"

Lincoln then explains. "Yes, the Rathalos is a dragon, but also dubbed a monster and a very powerful apex predator that seeks out anything smaller to consume, but when it comes to larger foes who wanna fight, then the poisonous talons come… Oh, poisonous talons."

Luna is now concerned. "That little guy has to be careful when it hatches, otherwise I am not gonna let it do any harm to the family or anyone else. A small little baby beast of a dragon is gonna be hard to handle, and it's way harder than a Netherdrake."

Nel'Thorious stands with them and looks upon the Rathalos egg, and he too is concerned about what might hatch. Lincoln pets his head and sighs. "We should leave her be, Michelle is right. Marcy knows what she is doing, she has read the books and she could ensure the Rathalos doesn't go all-out and attack."

They then take their leave from the rooftop and head back down stairs. Marcy on the other hand overhears this and she too is concerned, and then she looks upon the egg with worry, but then she has determination.

'No. I can help make you into something that isn't dangerous or treacherous to my friends and family. I can raise you, as I did with Joe Sparrow. You might not be a large avian from Amphibia, you are my responsibility and the Guardin trusts me to make you into something beyond from what the hunters feared about you.'

'You are not just some fiery monster from the volcanic lands of the Sky Tower, you are something more and I can show them that you can be a good friend, and ally. I can make you into a better purpose, and help others.'

She touches the egg, and the egg moves a bit and this makes her gasp and smile. "Hey there, little fella. My name is Marcy Wu, well Marcy Wu Lewis Spellman. I know you and I are gonna be good friends."

Then the Light Fury comes in and looks to the egg. "And this is Moonlight, he's gonna be like a big brother to you and he will help you for when the time comes for you to hatch into this brand new world, we will make you into something more than a monster hated by hunters."

Marcy then picks up the egg and she hugs it, she also removes her coat and even though it is super warm in there, what matters is that she's there to comfort this Rathalos egg, her love is making the egg wiggle and nudge, and this makes her smile. "Soon, you'll be brought into this world and we can help others."

'Because I made a mistake, many mistakes… But, I won't make the same mistakes again. I will undo my mistakes, and I can begin by trying to figure out how to deal with that dang King Andreas, and for the lies he put into my head. He will pay for this and together, all three of us can save Amphibia, and then I can save my friends and tell them how sorry I am, for what I did.'

(Meanwhile.)

Lincoln and Luna are both in the family den, as Michelle is at the basement and checking on something else, and Sam Sharp has been called to the Sharp house for something she needs to know, and from what they heard, Peter Sharp has been taken away by a long owl headed tube thing.

Obviously, that was Hooty, the Owl House. But why take Peter Sharp?

Luna then pulls her son close to her and this makes him chuckle and lean onto her. "So, tomorrow is my day huh?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, the first ever birthday of Luna Spellman, but not as a sister." He then looks upon her. "But as my mother, and I know you're gonna love what we have planned, Sam and I talked and so we have everything set and ready."

Luna smiles hearing this and she places a small kiss onto his forehead, and this makes him giggle. "I know you guys have something for me, and I am gonna say that whatever it is, is gonna be the best birthday for me in all the others."

"But even if it doesn't go so well, what matters is that you and Sam and the others are around." They stay in this moment, and then watch some TV.

Lincoln sighs and recalls what he got for her. 'Tomorrow, we can't have any mistakes on the birthday. I don't want things to be messed up, and I hope the plan Sam and I have, will work. Hmm, I wonder how my two counterparts are dealing with this, I know they have something for their own Luna and her birthday.'

A/N: Well, looks like Marcy is gonna have a new friend, and her Light Fury will have a little sibling to teach, but if this Rathalos does hatch, can she be able to tame the beast and make sure it does no harm to her friends and family?
