"Ryuko, you can't fucking tell me that it's not him!"
Rumi yelled at her friend with an angry face. The dragon lady in question did not falter. She crossed her arms and announced with a stern expression on her face.
"It. Is. Not. Him. The time difference doesn't match. The kid could be his brother, or even his son for all we could know!"
"Wah- You still going on with that shitty lie of yours! He wore the same face! Fought the same way! Even acted like him!"
"Then can you explain how after 9 goddamn years, he still looked the same? Younger, even!"
"His Quirk! We didn't know shit about it except for a few vague explanation-"
"Rumi! Please!" Ryuko grabbed Rumi's shoulders as the Rabbit Hero jolted at the sudden contact, before Ryuko pulled her into a hug.
"You've gotta to move on Rumi. Because if you can't," Ryuko voice became broken as Rumi saw the paper on her table, "I couldn't either."
Rumi just kept quiet and hugged her friend back.
"So, I guess this is goodnight."
Aki said, holding the hand of his girlfriend. The whole thing moved too fast, but neither of them disliked it. Yui hesitantly nodded her head, seemingly wanted to prolong the night but after all, she's still a teenager living with her parents. Curfew is still a thing. Yui's falter expression(?) pushed Aki to ask a question he has been meaning to.
"S-Say, Yui-san. Do you... want to start walking to school together?"
Yui snapped her neck from her house towards Aki's slightly blushing face so fast that Aki was afraid that she might got a whiplashed, but the girl just stared at him before eagerly nodded.
"MM!"
"O-Okay then. I'll wait for you at your station. Good night, Yui-san."
"One last thing. M-May I call you A-Akkun?"
Wow, Kodai Yui is stuttering. What a sce- Hold up.
"A-A-Akkun?"
"No?"
"I mean- I guess it's fine? No one has ever called me that before, so."
"I'll see you Monday, Akkun."
Aki blushed with a sheepish smile and was about to leave, before Yui pulled him back. She then pointed at her cheek, implying something obvious.
"Mm."
"C-Can't I just hug you a good-bye instead?"
"Not enough."
Seeing that there was no way out, Aki leaned in and planted a soft kiss on Yui's cheek with a face that could lit up a whole town. After he pulled back from the kiss, he swore he saw Yui slightly blush, but the street light was too dim to prove anything. The girl then let out a fake cough, before she grabbed Aki's collar, pulled him in and planted a kiss...
Right next to his lips, and took a picture.
"For my wallpaper." She stated, then turned around and went inside her house, leaving her now short-circuited boyfriend there.
Sunday phased without much happened, except for Ochako's parent dropped by to bid farewell before they went back to their house. Ochako looked disappointed that they left, but she braced herself and sent them off with a-million-watts smile. Monoma, Awase and Tetsutetsu did pester him about his date with Yui, but Aki only gave them the general details. Then Monday came. With a tension in the air.
Aki picked up Yui at her station, where the mono expression teen gave him a morning hug and kiss on the cheek, which he returned shyly, but he did it willingly so to Yui, it was an absolute win.
The train ride towards U.A was... very unpleasant. Some little girl recognized Yui from the Sport Festival and asked for a signature which caught the attention of many around. It got worse when someone asked for Yui's number, she grabbed Aki's arm and simply said 'boyfriend'. People started noticing Aki and shit went crazier. At least they made it to their destination quickly enough for Aki to grab Yui and ran. Thankfully, no one bothered them on their way to school.
As they opened the door into their classroom, the chattering noise of their classmates died down slowly. It went from loud chattering into whispering, then into a dead silence as the couple sat down at their respective seats. Until Tsuburaba's question broke the silence.
"So... does this mean..."
"Does... Does this mean what?" Aki asked back.
"Does this mean Kodai-san and you are a couple?"
Instead of answering, Aki snapped his head quickly over to Yui, who looked at him, and the rest of the class, before she just shrugged and answered.
"Yes."
The chaos ensued after was only stopped once Kan stepped into the class with a huge load of paper.
"Good morning, Kan-sensei!" Kendou greeted, with class 1-B followed suit.
"It will be." Kan said with a smug grin that caught the curious of everyone before he continued, "Today Theory Heroic will be slightly different than usual!"
"Please God, let there be no test...!" Prayers were heard among the people.
"It is time," Kan excitingly announced.
Everyone gulped in anxiety.
"To pick out your Hero Names!"
"FINALLY!" "FUCKING YES!" "Language!" A reprimanded was heard among the cheers.
"Settle, settle." Kan chuckled at his students' antics, "This is actually related to the internship offers I mentioned the other days. To be honest, the real nomination will truly start on your 3rd year, when you would have had experiences and adaptable fighting abilities and styles. In other words, the offers you'll be receiving this year are more of an expression of 'interest'. Nonetheless, this internship will be part of that 'experience' you'll gain, so sort it out carefully before you submit your decision to me."
Kan then press the remote, showing a list of names on the board along with number graph.
"Unfortunately, most of the attention are on class 1-A, but the offers you kids received aren't jokes!"
Kendou looked at her name with the number '895' next to it with slightly widen eyes, while Shiozaki looked as if she was about to faint at the number '1073'. But everyone quickly noticed who wasn't on the board.
"I understand your concern over if the numbers are correct. Rest assured, I triple-checked it. As I said, these offers are more of a 'shown of interest', so don't be discourage if you didn't receive as much as you expected." Kan explained, his eyes glancing around before they laid on Aki. Honestly, Kan himself was livid when he found out that his student, who gained 2nd place, only received 3 offers. The only reasons he didn't go to every agency to strangle the Heroes there, were because of who sent the offers and the fact that he understood...
That because Aki didn't use his Quirk once.
It was unfair, really. But it is how it works. Heroes not only sent offers to the top 10, but also people who they deemed, have a strong Quirk. Sadly, despite Aki's show of power, he only got 4. He wanted to tell his student that he did good, and he shouldn't be discouraged because of idiots who couldn't see real potentials, but the moment he laid eyes on Aki, he saw it.
He saw Aki's just stared at the board with an unreadable expression, as if he already saw this coming as the boy shrugged.
"Eh, easier for me to choose anyway."
"Oh, about that. Come see me after class, Mochizuki-kun. We need to talk about the offers you received."
Now this certainly piqued his curiosity. He still kinda surprised that there are even people who sent him the offers. Maybe they are new heroes who are just looking for internship?
"Understood, Kan-sensei."
"Good. Now, time for the real lesson!"
"That's right!" Midnight busted in from the front door and cat-walked inside while winking towards some students, boys and girls, and both parties blushed at that. "It is time, for you to choose, your Hero Name!"
The whole class cheered at the announcement of the exercise before Midnight settled them down with a whip to the air, and explained.
"This actually related to your internship. The names you pick now! The names you come to be known by the world as now! In many cases, they stay that way after becoming Pros!"
Kan nodded, "The way your careers end up will approach the image project by the name you choose."
Midnight passed down white boards and markers to every student as Kan spoke.
"I'd reckoned you all must have had a name in your head by now. Regardless, take the next 15 minutes to revise and write down the name you decided to go with. Kayama here will give you evaluation and suggestions. Be serious about this!"
The whole class stayed in silence for the next 15 minutes as Midnight and Kan talked quietly among each other. The only sound that could be heard were the sound of marker scribbling on the board and screeching noise of students erasing whatever they had written on the board. Before they knew it, Midnight clapped her hands 3 times and announced that time, was up.
"Alright! Those who're ready, time for you to shine!"
A moment of silence as everyone looked around among one another, looking for a volunteer before Tetsutetsu grabbed his board with an over-excited grin, walked to the podium and showed his board to the class.
"Real Hard Steel! The name that will show everyone my strength and will!"
'So long!' Was everyone unvoiced opinion.
"It's a great name, but maybe a tad bit too long. How about you shorten it to 'Real Steel'?"
"Real Steel... I love it! Real Steel! You all better remember this name!" Tetsutetsu pointed at his classmates, who chuckled as they clapped and cheered for him.
After that, one-by-one, class 1-B announced their Hero names.
"I will bring darkness to those who deserved it." Kuroiro, or now The Scheming Hero: Vanta Black, declared.
"Based on my Quirk, Weld, I choose this name!" Awase, Welder, explained.
"I won't bring shame to this name!" Ibara, Vine, swore to herself.
"I want to name myself after a dinosaur, but then it won't be original." Setsuna, Lizardy, complained with a pout.
"Mm!" Yui, Rule, determinedly(?) said.
"It just randomly came into my mind, but I guess I kind of... like it?" Kaibara, Spiral, said.
"I'll slash anyone who gets into my way!" Kamakiri, Jack Mantis, threatened.
"Any Villain who ever cross me will regret it!" Itsuka, Battle Fist, declared.
"This name is shroom-tastic!" Kinoko, Shemage, giggled.
"I shall not bring embarrassment to my name!" Shishida, Gevaudan, said,
"The noise my Quirk makes is kind of sound like it?" Nirengeki, Mines, explained.
"Go to launch people to die?" Pony, Rocketti, cheerfully said.
"Monoma, stop teaching bad words to Pony!" Kan yelled at Monoma, who just looked away with a devil grin.
"Kind of a popular naming style, but I can't think of anything better!" Manga, Comicman, said.
"Mine is somewhat similar to Manga." Honenuki, Mudman, scratched the back of his head as he explained.
"My favorite personnel." Reiko, or Emily, shrugged with an unchanged expression.
"The animal of my country!" Hiryu, Dragon Shroud, grinned.
Midnight nodded in satisfaction before she looked at the name list and asked, "So, the only ones left are Mochizuki and Monoma, who hasn't announced yet and Tsuburaba, whose name is too... weird for me to agree to."
"How is 'Blow You' weird?" Tsuburaba asked with an annoyed look.
"In every way possible. Monoma, Mochizuki, are any of you ready?" Midnight asked.
"I'll go." Monoma raised his hand as he grabbed his board and showed the class.
"Back then, everyone always told me that I have a weak Quirk that doesn't suit heroic." He explained, "But now, I'm going to prove them wrong. Have fear, Villain, for the Phantom Thief has arrived!" He ended his speech, which would have resulted in a cheer if clapping if not for his maniacal laugh and crazy face expression.
"Mochizuki, are you ready?"
"... I guess."
Aki walked to the podium, stared at his small board for a short moment to ready himself, before showing it to the class.
"Yomi? As in... the land of the death?"
"Well yes, but actually no." Reiko suppressed her snort at Aki's word, but her muffled giggle was heard.
"Yomi... Is there any meaning for this name you choose?" Midnight asked.
"I read this old book in my Sensei's dojo once. I don't remember the title, but it mentioned a part where the goddess Izanami died and became the queen of the underworld. Yomi. But people often mistake her for Shinigami, the goddess of death while she was goddess of the dead. As a person who have gone through death multiple times, I think I somewhat... understand her. So, I choose the name as a retribution. The Shinobi Hero: Yomi."
"What did you want to talk to me about, Kan-sensei?" Aki approached Kan after Midnight has released him and the rest of the class.
"It actually about one of the offers that was sent to you." He said, before showing Aki who have sent him the offers. The tablet shows 2 familiar names and 1 unexpected: Ryuukyu, Miruko, Edgeshot and Tengu.
"Who is this... Tengu? Some kind of new Hero?"
"In the contrary. It's Isshin Ashina himself." Aki's eyes widen in shock upon hearing Isshin's name. He hasn't got the chance to thank the Sword Saint for the scroll of Dragon Flash, and now he sent Aki an offer?
"Surprise, am I right? However, this is not what I want to talk to you about. As you have already known, Miruko is a very... independent person."
"If you mean that she doesn't work with anyone, ever, then yes, I know."
"Yes, and yet, she sent you an internship offer. This is seriously a once in a lifetime chance. Personally, I think you should go with her. She works alone, and yet she's the Top 5 Hero because she understands what she must do. Learning from her would do you wonder. And..."
"... and?"
"Principal Nezu wants you to take it. Something about 'encouraging her to send more offers in the future'. But in all seriousness, what I said is no less far from the truth."
"I understand that, but... I already choose who I want to go with."
"Who? Isshin Ashina-sama?"
"Actually, he didn't send me an offer. But I don't think he sent anyone offer so you know, might as well roll the dice and ask him."
"He teaches in this school? Heroic Course?"
"Actually, I think he's inside the teacher's lounge. I'll ask him now."
Aki moved pass Kan, who turned around curiously and watched as Aki approached... the yellow human size worm on the floor.
"Eraserhead-sensei? Are you awake? I need to ask you something."
The chatter inside the teacher's lounge turned into silence as everyone watched the scene unfold inside. Aizawa Shota grumbled inside his sleeping bag, before he turned to face Aki and asked with his usual grumpy face.
"You're class 1-B vice president. What do you want?"
"W-Well, I was just wondering if..."
"Stop wasting my time and get straight to the point. Why do you wake me up?"
"I was wondering if you would take me as your intern?"
The 5 minutes of silence was broken when Midnight slipped the grip of her coffee mug as it shattered on the floor, followed by a loud scream by other teachers, while Aizawa just stared at the student in front of him with disbelief eyes.
'Does this mean he agree?' Aki wondered.
"Aki-kun!"
Aki turned around at the mention of his name to see Ochako and Izuku jogging over to him and Yui. He and Yui went back to the station together after school. They did invite Itsuka to come with but the girl weirdly rejected, saying that she has some meeting to attend to. She did act weird around them both throughout the whole day though, so they figured she must have had something on her mind.
"Ochako-san, Midoriya." Aki greeted.
"Mm." Yui greeted.
"Yahallo... Kodai-san, was it?"
Yui nodded.
"Uraraka Ochako! But you can call me Ochako! Over hear is Midoriya Izuku, but I called him Deku-ch...-kun. Deku-kun!" Ochako introduced.
"G- Good afternoon, Kodai-san, Aki-kun!" Izuku said.
Ignoring Ochako's honorific error, Yui nodded at them with her self-intro, "Kodai Yui."
Aki smiled fondly at the lovely scene in front of him, before looking at the incoming train and tell the group to get on.
"S- So, have you guys decided who to go with for the internship?" Izuku asked.
"I still want to go through the rest but so far, Gunhead is my top choice!"
"Gunhead? The Martial Art Hero?" Aki asked.
"Yup! I figure after my match against Bakugou, I need to be better at hand-to-hand combat and not too dependent on my Quirk, like you!" Ochako explained which honestly, made Aki felt a little proud under the embarrassment.
"Minimal."
"That makes sense. Kodai-san's Quirk and hers bare some similarity. WHat about you, Aki-kun?" Izuku mumbled under his breath.
"It's still pending. I asked but Aizawa-sensei said he needs to check his schedule and see if he has the time to take me along with someone else."
"You're going with Aizawa-sensei!?"
"He's an underground hero. That's the dream."
"It just... I kind of expected that you would have taken longer to decide."
"Well, I only got 4 offers, so-"
"4!? Wha- How do you of all people, got only 4 offers?" Ochako yelled a bit too loudly, while Izuku just widen his eyes in surprise.
"Unimportant. Who're you going with, Midoriya?" Aki averted the question and asked.
"Me? Gran Torino."
"Gran... Torino? The movie?"
"The Hero! He's from the previous generation!"
"Previous generation. That means he must be like... 80-90 years old now. You sure?"
Izuku only pouted in response while the rest just giggled at his reaction. The four made small talk among one another, until Yui and Izuku reached their station, which coincidentally is the same one.
"Mm." Yui tugged on Aki's sleeve and pointed towards the train exit.
"Already? I guess time flies when you have fun, huh? See you tomorrow, Yui."
Yui didn't move. Aki immediately understood why and gained a blush on his face, before he whispered into Yui's ear.
"I'm a little shy doing it in front of someone we know..."
Instead of answering, Yui let go of Aki's sleeve. Aki was slightly taken aback. Maybe Yui was also shy of it? Before he could say anything else though, Yui grabbed his collar and pulled him down to kiss him on his cheek.
"See you tomorrow, Akkun."
Izuku froze in shock while his face turned pale at the scene he just witnessed, an expression that Ochako was also wearing. Yui grabbed Izuku's hand and pulled him out, not forgetting to wave at Ochako.
The moment the train door closed and left, Yui left the station with Izuku behind her, who was moving like a zombie. When both of them passed Dagoba Beach, Yui suddenly turned behind and spoke.
"Who knows?"
"Who- Who knows what?"
"Who knows that you're a girl?"
Izuku now stared at Yui with widen surprise eyes, while Yui just stared back with her unchanged expression.
"I- I don't know what you're talking about, K- Kodai-san! I- I'm a guy!"
"If this is how you act around people, I am genuinely surprise that you have hidden it for so long. You used 'watashi' instead of 'boku' or 'ore'. That's not all. Your posture, your voice, the way you talk, don't seem like a boy. And the deadliest giveaway," Yui pointed, "is the way you look at my boyfriend."
Izuku stayed silence. Yui took that as a sign and continued.
"I had my doubts since the Sport Festival, but today confirms it. The way you looked at him, the way you listened to him, is all too familiar. They are of a girl who has a crush."
The two stared at each other in silence, and just right as Yui was about to say something, Izuku went into a dogeza, his head on the ground and his knees on the floor.
"I-I-I-I-I-I-I am so sorry, Kodai-san! I didn't know you two were a thing! I swear I'll stop talking to him from now on! I won't even look at him! I swea-"
"Stand up." Yui interjected Izuku's pleading.
"I-I am so sorry, Kodai-san! Please do-"
"Stand. Up." Yui demanded.
Although hesitantly, Izuku slowly raised his head up, and saw Yui also kneeling down. Her unchanged expression scanned Izuku's face before she raised her hand...
Izuku closed her eyes, bracing for whatever comes.
Only to feel Yui's hand swept off the dust and tears on her face.
"You slammed your head really hard. Does it hurt?"
Izuku kept quiet, only responded with a shake.
"Good." Yui nodded, before helping Izuku to stand up. They walked over to a nearby bench and sat down. Waiting a while for Izuku to calm down, they sat in silence for a while, until she heard Izuku timidly asked.
"Aren't you... mad?"
Yui gave Izuku a confused facial expression.
"I mean... I have a crush on your b-boyfriend."
Yui let out an 'ahh' in realization before she shook her head, and said.
"You should be mad at me instead."
"M-Mad at you? W-Why?"
"You have been crushing on Aki for a long time and I stole him right under your nose."
"B-But you didn't! I didn't- I couldn't c-c-confess to him! I-It's my fault... it's because I am a coward! Useless! A De-"
Izuku ranting was stopped as Yui used her right hand to squeeze her cheeks.
"I said this to Akkun, and now I'll say it to you. No self-deprecation when you are around me. You are a kind, lovely and pretty girl. I know it, and you should too. Do we understand each other?"
Yui released her hand as Izuku nod her head, even though hesitantly.
"Let's start off again, Midoriya. What's yours actual name?"
"... Izumi. M-Midoriya Izumi."
"You haven't answered my question. Does anybody else know?"
"M-My mom, Nezu-sensei, Aizawa-sensei, Nezu-sensei, Midnight-sensei, All Might, Recovery Girl, Uraraka-san and y-you."
"That few, huh. Don't worry, I won't tell Akkun or anyone."
"T- Thank y-"
"Because you will. At least, you should."
"W-W-W-W-W-W-W-W-What!? W-W-Why!?"
"You like Akkun, don't you? I won't get mad if you say 'yes'."
"I-I-I... Yes. I l-like him..."
"Not enough conviction. Again."
"I-I like him?"
"Don't ask me. Again."
"I-I like him."
"Better. Again."
"I like him!"
"Good. One last time."
"I like him! I love Aki-kun!"
"... Didn't think you would go that far, but progress anyway."
Izumi realized what she just said and brought the blush that could burn the sun up again. Yui showed a devious smirk, before Izumi spoke up again.
"B-But why do you insist that I c-confess to Aki-kun? Isn't he your b-boyfriend?"
"He is." Yui spoke nonchalantly. "But no one says I can be his only girlfriend."
What Yui just said actually shocked Izumi more than the day she saw her idol 's real form. All Izumi said in reply was some incomprehensible stuttering, so Yui ignored that and continued.
"Now, we need a plan."
The week passed in a blink of an eye. Heroic Lesson at school focused mainly on Heroic Laws to prepare the students for their internship, so except for the brain hurting parts, physical exercises have been pretty laid back. However, Aki was more concerned over another matter.
Iida Tenya. His brother, Ingenium, had an encountered with the Hero Killer, Stain. Thankfully, Ingenium came out alive after the encountered, but he lost his ability to walk, ever again. Anyone in Tenya's shoes would have been devastated, or at least looked somewhat bothered about it. However, when he saw Tenya at the class reps' meeting, the guy looked disturbingly fine. Acted like a robot, as usual. Of course, Momo and Itsuka did offer to talk to him about it, but Tenya rejected them, saying that he was 'fine'. Normally, Aki wouldn't push the matter. But Aki noticed something in Tenya, so after the meeting, he asked Momo and Itsuka to leave first, so that Aki could talk with him.
"Mochizuki-san, I assure you. I'm fine! What's matter is that my brother is a-" Tenya assured him, but Aki interjected.
"If you're expecting to kill Stain, drop it."
"... I'm sorry, I don't think I understand what were you trying to imply."
"You know what I'm implying. If you're going after Stain, you're going to get yourself killed."
"If that is what you are worried about, then I must say it is ridiculous. I do not have any intention to seek out the Hero Killer nor killing him. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go home to my brother."
Iida coldly said, before he pushed past Aki and made his way towards the door, leaving Aki behind in the empty classroom. The black hair shinobi just sighed in exasperation, before he saw two ponytails peeked over the wall.
"You two aren't actually subtle, you know." He asked.
"S-Sorry." Momo meekly apologized, while Itsuka just shyly scratched her head. "We were just worry..."
"It's fine. Did you two hear anything?"
"Not actually. We only saw Iida-san pushed past you and hastily exited. Although…." Momo trailed off.
"He did have this really scary look in his eyes though. Did you say something that pissed him off?" Itsuka asked, while Momo just nodded from the side.
"Not entirely... I'm not even sure myself. I just thought I saw something familiar in him." Aki scratched his head.
"What?"
"... It's probably nothing." Aki said.
Even though he knew it was nothing.
Aizawa-sensei: UA's station, 8 A.M. Don't be late. Bring your essentials and Hero Outfit.
Aki stared at the message on his phone. Does this mean he was accepted? If that so, Aizawa-sensei really doesn't like wasting time on letters or stuff. As he was thinking, Ochako leaned over and look at his phone.
"Can't believe you're actually going with Aizawa-sensei?"
"Why not?"
"It's just... he's kinda scary. He's a good teacher, but he's scary."
"I think that comes with being an Underground Hero. Being scary, avoid the media so that no one knows you? That's the dream."
"So, you want to be an Underground Hero?"
"It's the only way to avoid being known." Aki shrugged, before he looked over behind his shoulder, at the dining table where Mei was tinkering with her stuff. "Have you packed your stuff?"
"Obviously!" Mei answered without even looking up. "A trip to I-Island where I can meet all the technology and beautiful babies along with famous inventors? Of course, I'm prepared!"
"Where's your suitcase?" Aki asked.
"What's a suitcase? Why would I need it?" Mei asked.
"Guess so." Aki tiredly sighed. "Ochako, you helped her pack her clothes. I'll head to a convenience store to buy some essentials. For her and myself."
Aki grabbed his jacket and left, leaving behind a laughing Ochako and a confused Mei who didn't know what a 'suitcase' was.
Aki walked the night street slowly, enjoying the night once again. Like usual, the breezy wind touched his cheeks as he walked among the darkness, enjoy the chilling sound of crickets signaling a coming summer and a psychotic giggling of a feminine voice. Just like usual...
Hold the fuck up.
Aki realized what he was hearing and whipped his head behind, where her heard the giggle. He squinted his eyes to see clearer, but met his eyes was only the empty street. Guessing it was his head playing tricks with his ears (although he highly doubts it), he turned around.
Only to see a girl in middle-school uniform standing in front of him.
Taken by surprise, Aki jumped back, getting into fighting stance while looking up at the newcomer. The girl in front of him had on yellow sailor uniform with a red scarf and a blue skirt. Her brightly lit up yellow eyes wore almost the same color as her ashen blonde twin tails hair. She had on a devious smile, revealing her fangs that screamed 'Vampire'. The fact that she was blushing and had a knife on her hand didn't calm Aki down.
The two eyed up each other for a moment, before the blonde spoke up.
"Ne, ne, cutie~. Can you help me with something~?"
"...?"
"Give me your blood~!"
She stabbed her knife at Aki's neck but luckily, he managed to step-dodged the attack, grabbed her hand, put it in an arm-lock and pinned her to the wall after he had confiscated her knife. Courtesy of Kendou Itsuka.
"Wah, don't be so rough!" The blondie complaint as her face was planted on the wall.
"Sorry. Never dealt with any 'vampire-wannabe-schoolgirl' who wanted to attack me for my blood before." Aki flatly stated.
"I'm no 'vampire-wannabe-schoolgirl'! I just... have a condition is all!" The stranger grumbled.
"Condition?"
"..." She kept silence
"I can't help you if you don't tell me, vampire-san."
"Why would you even bother? No one I met ever did." Said the blondie. "Or perhaps you're looking for a favor in return? Is it my body~?" She teased with a seducing voice.
Aki tighten his grip on the blondie's hands.
"Owowowowowow-okayokayokay! Okay, I'll say! Just- Just stop squeezing my wrist! It's my Quirk"
Aki loosen his grip as he raised an eyebrow in curious, releasing from twisting to just holding her hands.
"Couldn't you just let me go?"
"Not until I'm sure that you aren't going to stab me again. Sorry, but I'm careful that way."
The girl sighed in defeat, before she explained.
"My Quirk is Transform. Anyone's blood who I had digested will allow me to turn into that person"
"Why the 'vampire' part?"
"Because this goddamn Quirk makes me crave for blood! If I don't digest any fresh blood for a period of time, I'll get sick and lose my mind!"
"So, like... going 'cold-turkey'?"
"Yes! Now that I'm done explaining, are you going to release me?"
Aki let go of her hand. The girl slightly pushed Aki away before she caressed her hand due to the twisting.
"How long it usually takes before you go cold-turkey?"
"... Roughly a week. Sometime it takes longer, but it usually around that period."
"And when was the last time you take any blood?"
"8 days."
"How do you obtain blood? You attacked passerby like this?"
"I usually stole blood from blood banks. You're the first person I ever attack... when I'm still in my right-mind. No offense but from behind, you look like an easy prey."
"None taken. It was meant that way. Now…..." He pointed the knife at her, which made the girl slightly flinched.
"What's your name? Mine is Mochizuki Aki."
"... Toga Himiko. What is this, some sort of interrogation?"
"Nope. Just checking." Aki lowered the knife to his wrist, before slashing a line on it. Crimson blood dripped out; the redness reflected on both of their eyes as they stared at Aki's hand. Himiko stared at Aki's wrist in shock, partly because no one has ever willingly given her blood before, another part because Aki didn't even wince when he cut himself. Aki stared at his wrist a bit surprise, because he felt that he might have cut his hand a bit too deep. Eh, well, it's been a long time since that last time he did this anyway.
"You know, you should probably drink it before a real vampire comes." Aki said, snapping Himiko out of her shock.
Although reluctantly, Himiko grabbed Aki's wrist, raised it close to her mouth, mumbled a small 'Itadaikimasu', before she started sucking.
After 5 minutes, Himiko released Aki's wrist after he has stopped bleeding. While Aki felt slightly dizzy from the blood losing, Himiko was... on paradise. Ah~, the sweet, delicious taste of fresh blood. When was the last time she has felt this way~? While Himiko moaned in pleasure as she licked the rest of Aki's blood on her lips, Aki panted in exhaustion from the blood loss. They both stayed in their respective condition, until Himiko's seductive voice made Aki look up from the ground.
"My hero, Aki-kun~!" She said seductively.
"... What's with the scary voice, Toga-san?"
"What's with the honorifics~? We aren't strangers anymore, are we? Call me Himiko! Hi. Mi. Ko!"
"I'm heading to the convenience store now. You... head back to wherever you're staying."
She pouted.
"Meanie! You can't just abandon a girl after you do her like that! Especially when it's her first time!"
"First time!? All I did was let you sucked my blood."
"Exactly! Take responsibility!" Himiko declared.
Even though he wanted to argue, the blood loss made him too dizzy that instead of staying and arguing, Aki wrote down his number on paper and gave it to Himiko.
"Here. Call me whenever you need blood. I promise I'll come."
Himiko accepted the paper with grace, before she waved off and skipped to god knows where.
If this happens every time he went out at night, Aki has got to stop taking these trips.
He reminded himself that before walking to the convenience store.
"Aizawa-sensei!"
Aki raised his voice, with Ochako running by his side, catching the attention of the tired homeroom teacher of 1-A. The man heard his name called, turned his head around, his voice tired.
"Almost late there, Mochizuki, Uraraka"
"Sorry, sensei! Blood loss makes waking up a real problem." Said Aki
"No excuses here!" Said Ochako
"I don't care." He spoke. "Uraraka, your train is coming in 10 minutes. Mochizuki, you stay here with me. I need to send off my class and picked up another kid before we heading to my agency."
Aki nodded in understanding, and Aizawa nodded in approval. One part of class 1-A just stared at the two of them. It was a surprise to learn that Aizawa-sensei of all people was taking intern, it was another type of surprise to learn that the Top 2 of the Sport Festival was going with him. Meanwhile, another part was talking quietly among one another. The group contained Izumi, Ochako and Momo. The three were whispering something among one another, but no one could made out what they said except for Momo's widen eyes after Ochako whispered something into her ear that made her almost shouted something but Ochako quickly covered her mouth, and three of them only waved a suspicious hi to Aki when he looked over to them.
It took about half an hour before every single one of 1-A left. After confirming that all his students have left for their internship, Aizawa turned over to Aki and spoke.
"Come one. We're picking up the other one."
"All your students already left, though. Who's the other one?"
Aizawa kept silence as he got on to the driver seat while Aki got on to the passenger's seat behind, and drove away. They rode for another hour before Aizawa stopped in front of a house, stepped out and pressed the doorbell. A few minutes later, a lilac hair woman in an apron opened the door. Upon seeing Aizawa, her face broke into a smile as she slightly bowed, an action which Aizawa repeated. Aizawa signaled Aki to step out after the woman has went inside. They waited for 5 minutes before the woman came back out again, this time with another familiar yet strange face.
"Please take care of my daughter, Aizawa-sensei. Come on, Hitomi!"
"Please take of me..." Shinsou Hitomi, with her sleepy face, greeted them.
Aki's internship has officially started.
A/N: Fuck man, this chapter was supposed to ease into the internship and yet, my dumbass decided to write this at 4 in the morning and now I'm too lazy to delete anything that I have writte.
Anyway, boom. The bomb you saw coming has dropped. Izuku = Izumi. Please note that in the next few chapters, if you see me refers Izumi as Izuku, it's when I was writing under the POV of a character who hasn't known of Izumi's true identity (staring motherfuckerly at Aki).
Adding Hitomi to the internship was on a whim, I admit. On a fucking, whim. I'm going to have trouble writing the next chapter... Eh, whatever. Worst comes to worst, we have to wait for at most a month, again XD
Toga Himiko's part was fun to write, I got to say. She's like that Yandere-girl that we love but the main protag doesn't want. Oh, just to clarify, the reason you saw Aki didn't blush or stutter at all was because he was in 'combat mode', and after the blood sucking, he was tired and grumpy. Monoma experienced that first hand.
One last thing to add: I BELIEVE IN KODAI YUI'S SUPREMACY!
Aight, see you all next chapter!
Spoiler:
"Another one... Who are you?" Stain asked with annoyance in his tone.
"No one you should concern off. I'm just here to grab my classmates." Aki drew his katana.
"... Take care of him." Stain commanded.
The shinobi in purple garb nodded and drew his katana to point at Aki.
"Die, traitor!"
Next chapter title: Shinobi Vs. Shinobi
