Chapter 35: Stryke Out
On an unknown island, Vikings were looking down from the stands of an arena as a scarred Deadly Nadder and a Monstrous Nightmare circled one another preparing to fight. However, the crowd were not very excited by this, giving the distinct impression that they've seen this all before.
"Boring!" A man cried.
"Aye, move up, son!" A woman yelled.
The Fight Master tried his best to excite the crowd. "This dragon fight is one for the ages, as Steeltrap takes a crushing blow to the head from the upstart, Whip-slash!"
"Yeah, whatever," said a man yawning.
It was at that point that Ryker showed up. "Ah, Mr. Ryker, sir. Always a pleasure to have you join us."
Ryker didn't say anything and simply narrowed his eyes. The Fight Master knew why he had shown and pulled out a bag of calling and presented it to Ryker.
Ryker took it and opened it, but when he looked into it he saw his eyes at the Fight Master. "This is not the amount we agreed upon." He said.
"Mr. Ryker, we've done well together in our fighting enterprise." The Fight Master honestly said. "But now, with your champion dragon, the fights are over before they start." He placed a hand on Ryker's shoulder, but quickly removed it when he growled. "No one will pay for a fight that ends in five minutes."
The Fight Master then signaled one of his men to unleash Ryker's champion and so the gates slowly opened. Ryker then turned to the crowd and saw the bored looks upon their faces.
"I see your point." Ryker admitted. "But if I were you, I'd find a solution to turn this around."
Ryker then walked off just as the battle started and the comments from the crowd did not bode well for the Fight Master. Ryker then tossed a single gold coin without even looking at him.
"Your cut." He said simply.
The Fight Master caught the coin and glared at Ryker. "I hate that guy." He grumbled.

Meanwhile, Hicca was flying with Snotlout to an island he had discovered that contained remnants of Dragon Hunters.
"The Dragon Hunter base is just up ahead." Snotlout said.
"Now remember, approach with caution. They might be expecting us and dragons could be injured" Hicca reminded her cousin.
"Hicca, Hicca! This is the easiest mission ever," Snotlout assured. "We fly in, blast the Hunters, and be home in time for lunch! Boom!"
Hicca didn't look as confident, "While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I—"
"Come on, Hookfang!" Snotlout said, not listening to Hiccaa and took off.
Hicca sighed, she should have expected this from Snotlout by now. "Why did I choose to go with Snotlout when Hiccup and the others are out on patrol?" She asked herself with a sigh, knowing that she had no other choice, she followed Snotlout towards the Dragon Hunter base he discovered.
They soon approached the island and landed on the rocky surface and sneakily made their way to the shoreline where cages had been set up made of dragon proof metal. The strangest thing was that there was nobody at the base, there was not even any sign that anyone had been there.
"There's no one here." Hicca noted. "It's completely abandoned."
"This place was crawling with Dragon Hunters this morning." Snotlout frowned. "Something's wrong."
"Did you see anything else? Any dragons or Hunters?" Hicca asked.
"Well, no." Snotlout admitted.
"They must've hid them somewhere." Hicca theorizes.
Then they noticed that both Midnight and Hookfang were growling at something.
"Maybe there is something wrong," Hicca suggested, looking back at Snotlout.
They then heard the distant roaring of a dragon in the distance and it seemed to have emanated from a nearby cave. The two dragons were snarling at the cave as if they sensed something inside it.
"Yeah, really wrong." Hicca said as she then ran towards the cave. "Come on, that dragon might be hurt!"
Snotlout then turned to Hookfang and glared as if it was all his fault. "Why'd you tell me to be proactive today?"
'Don't look at me.' Hookfang snorted and reluctantly the two of them followed Hicca into the cave.
As they entered the cave they saw man-made stairs carved into the rock and they slowly made their way down towards the bottom.
"You know, I think we've seen way too much of this place already." Snotlout said. "Maybe it's time to head back." He then turned to look at Hookfang. "What do you think, Hookfang?"
The Monstrous Nightmare answered by shoving Snotlout towards the stairs.
Hicca sighed and looked at him. "Oh, come on, Snotlout. This was your idea to scout the area to find any possible signs of Dragon Hunters."
"Yes, that was before the blood-curdling dragon screams." Snotlout said nervously.
As if on cue they heard the sound of more dragons from the bottom of the cave. Knowing he had no choice in the matter, Snotlout was forced to follow Hicca down the steps.
When they got down there they found cells similar to the ones on Outcast Island. Snotlout inspected one and suddenly screamed when a Speed Stinger jumped out of the shadows roaring at him.
"Speed Stinger, Razorwhip and Gronkle." Hicca said as she checked the cages.
"So, Hicca, question, question, question," Snotlout said, looking at the Healer. "How are we going to free these vicious and wild dragons without being, I don't know, eaten alive?"
"We can't leave them like this, Snotlout. There's gotta be a switch or lever somewhere to open these cages." Hicca said while looking around. "Once we get them free, we'll just have to walk them out."
The two young Vikings began looking around for any sign of switch or lever. Hicca approaches the cave with the Razorwhip trapped inside. He still could not find anything that might actually open the cell.
"Anything?" Hicca asked, looking back at Snotlout.
"Yep." Snotlout said and pulled down a lever.
Suddenly a steel gate fell from the ceiling and before Hicca and Midnight could react the two of them were trapped alongside the dragons.
"Snotlout!" Hiccaa yelled as she rushed to the bars.
"Hang on! I'll get you out of there!" Snotlout yelled, he then pulled the lever up.
However, instead of the steel gate retracting a purple gas emanated from where Hicca and Midnight were standing.
"What is this stuff?" Snotlout coughed and some of it exited out of the steel gate.
"Noxious gas!" Hicca said while covering her mouth. "Quick girl, get us out of here!"
Midnight fired a plasma blast at the steel gate, but it had no effect. The entire gate was dragon proof. What was worse was that the gas was starting to make Hicca and Midnight drowsy. Hicca attended to lift the gate up, but it was far too heavy for her.
Midnight fell to the ground and Hicca, too, was sighed to be overcome by the gas and fell to his knees.
"That's not good!" Snotlout said as he rushed over to the gate trying desperately to lift it. He too had no success and stared at Hiccup and Toothless. "Hicca! Midnight!" He cried out in worry for his cousin and her dragon.
"Go, go, go! Get help!" said Hicca feeling quite dizzy due to the gas.
Snotlout was reluctant to leave, but he had no choice and he and Hookfang ran back to the tunnel. "We'll be back I promise!" Snotlout said as they rushed out.
"Go!" Hicca yelled, before everything went black.
(Linebreak)
Hours later, Snotlout returned with the other Riders, but when they entered the cave they found no trace of Hiccaa or Midnight. In fact none of the other dragons were in the cave either.
"What, what? They're gone!" Snotlout yelled, panicking. "They were right here, I swear! Back me up, Hookfang."
'It's true!' Hookfang roared.
"There, there, little Snotlout," Tuffnut said, placing a hand on Snotlout's shoulder. "I'm sure Stoick will forgive you for losing his one daughter."
"Tuffnut!" Hiccup yelled.
"Not helping!" Snotlout yelled in agreement.
"Hey! Focus!" Astrid yelled. "We have to find them."
"Astrid's right. We gotta find Hicca and Midnight before something bad happens to them if they are captured by my father." Henry said in a big worry.
Fishlegs wandered over to one of the cells and found a sea slug under the cell doors. "Sea slugs," he said.
"What does that mean?" Snotlout asked.
"Well, Snotlout, it means that those dragons will be lured here with food and been gassed with Dragon Root. What do you think it means?" Fishlegs asked, tossing the sea slug to Hookfang, who then ate it.
"I guess this proves that there is Dragon Hunter activity in these parts." said Henry as he examined the cages. "They're nothing if not cunning."
"But why bother knocking them out?" Astrid frowned. "The dragons were already captured."
"Yeah, they were already in the cells." Raeda added.
"To keep the dragons pacified to make them easier to transport." Heather said.
"Heather's right. It's how the hunters easily transfer from their cells to other cages or to other islands to make it easy to sell or relocate if this area was discovered." Henry explained.
"So, Hicca and Midnight are being taken to Thor knows where?" said Snotlout. "Great! And we've got no way of finding them."
Toothless then growled at Snotlout when he said that as he glared at the Jorgenson. 'Don't remind me!' He growled, already worried enough that his mate was missing.
Snotlout raised his hand as he gave a nervous chuckle. "Sorry." He said.
"Easy, bud, Midnight will be fine, she's got Hicca, remember." Hiccup assured as he pats his dragon to calm him down as Toothless calmed a bit as he snorted.
"Do not fret." Tuffnut said, quickly placing each hand on Snotlout and Hiccup's shoulders. "We'll find the missing Hicca Haddock and one Midnight Night Fury."
"Yes! That's right, young Snotlout and Hiccup." Ruffnut added. "My brother and I are experts in the delicate and fine art of detection."
"Interrogation."
"And infiltration."
"We are…"
Then the two twins stood back to back with their arms crossed and said of the same time, "Thorston and Thorston, sleuths and extraordinaire."
"What?" Hiccup asked in confusion while Toothless looked at them as he tilted his head in confusion. "What does that even mean, exactly?" He questioned.
"The best detectives on Berk!" Tuffnut said.
"Well, really, the only detectives on Berk." Ruffnut admitted.
"Shh! They don't need to know that." Tuffnut whispered.
Tuffnut then began to crawl around the ground like an animal. He then wandered over to Meatlug and lifted one of her claws. "Nope, nothing here. Except…" He then pinched his nose and turned away in disgust, "the smell."
Heather and Henry just watched the twins as they foolishly wandered around.
"Tuff?" Heather said.
"It's all very suspicious," said Ruffnut.
"If we…" Henry started next.
"Heather, Henry, I've got this," said Tuffnut. "The Dragon Hunters have taken Hicca and Midnight somewhere nefarious."
"Guys…" Heather started again.
"If you would just let us finish…" Henry said next.
"Not now, Heather, Henry." Tuffnut said dismissively. "I'm detecting. Now, to find where Hicca Haddock and Midnight Night Fury have been taken, we need…"
Heather had had enough and placed her hand over Tuffnut's mouth. "Somepeople with inside knowledge of the Dragon Hunter ports," She began.
"Somepeople with inside knowledge of Dragon Hunter ports!" said Tuffnut in a muffled voice.
Ruffnut then snapped her fingers. "Someone like Heather and Henry! Thank you, Thorston."
"You're welcome, Thorston." Tuffnut said after Heather had removed her hand from his mouth.
Heather sighed. "Follow us." She said as she and Henry walked out of the cave.
"We know of a dragon hunter outpost not too far from here. That might give us a clue where Hicca and Midnight are." Henry told them.
"Then lead the way. We gotta find my sister and Midnight as soon as possible." Hiccup said as they all walked out of the cave. "Who knows what is happening to them now." He said in worried for his sister.
(Linebreak)
Meanwhile, Hicca had regained consciousness and found herself in unfamiliar surroundings and that her leg was chained up.
"Midnight!" Hicca gasped.
She turned and found Midnight lying next to her, muzzled and chained. "There you are, girl." She said with relief.
She tried to remove the chain that was wrapped around her leg, but to no avail. He then took in her surroundings. "Where are we? This doesn't look like a Hunter prison?"
Hicca then noticed but they were not alone, in the room was a Gronkcle, Deadly Nadder, Monstrous Nightmare and a Razorwhip. The dragons had one thing in common, they were chained up, scarred and looked very miserable.
"Oh, these poor dragons." Hicca said in sympathy, really hate seeing the dragons in these conditions
They then heard a noise outside and both she and Midnight rushed to what looked like a gate but with wooden boards surrounding it. Through the cracks they could see the captured Speed Stinger getting notice of what looked like a scorpion-tail and then she noticed there was a crowd outside.
It took them a while to realize that he was in some sort of arena and that the people were watching some sort of dragon fight.
"Dragon fights." Hicca said in disgust. She remembered in the time of the Dragon Wars, these kinds of events were actually quite popular but now, in the age of peace, it turned her stomach, "We have to get out of here."
She then heard a door unlocked and saw someone, she assumed, had to be the one in charge and one of his guards. The Gronkcle and the Deadly Nadder roared at him, but he slammed his spirit to the ground to keep them quiet.
"That's right, you smelly beasts." He said sadistically. "You know who the boss is."
Hicca glared at him.
The guard then turned to look at him with a confused look. "Who's she?" he asked.
"Oh, Her. she was with a Night Fury," The Fight Master explained.
"Oh, I've heard about her." The guard said. "She's a friend and healer to dragons."
"Good. Then maybe she'll be useful." The Fight Master said, pointing his spear at Hicca.
Midnight growled at him. 'I fight for freedom, not for entertainment. '
"I've got a very special event planned for her dragon." The Fight Master said with a mocking smirk. "Don't you worry, my friend. I'll let you watch." He then made his way to the door. "And don't touch that muzzle."
He then slammed the door shut and Hiccup turned to find the owner of the scorpion tail had re-entered its cell and the gate closed behind it.
"Ladies and gentlemen, get ready!" the Fight Master as he stood on his stand behind the crowd. "Tomorrow night, two new dragons enter the ring in a battle royale! Only one dragon will leave victorious. Will it be Sharpclaw the Razorwhip or Midnight the Night Fury?!"
"A Night Fury?" One of the crowd asked excitedly as the word 'Night Fury' the entire crowd looked up and suddenly became excited. "Oh, I've never seen a Night Fury!" Another of the crowd said excitedly as the Fight Master smirked at this, seeing that his fights have become more exciting again.
Hicca did like where this was going, her only hope was that the others would be able to find them before something very bad happens.
(Linebreak)
The next morning, the situation had changed, Hicca and Midnight were still trapped with the other dragons. Hicca then noticed that the Deadly Nadder was heavily scarred and it didn't look like they were from any Dragon Hunters so it had to be when it fought in the arena.
She approached it, hoping to help, but it then snarled at her no doubt thinking that she was a threat. The Monstrous Nightmare burst into flames no doubt thinking the same thing.
'Don't you dare!' Midnight snarled at them until Hicca had held her back.
"Hey, gotta back off, girl." Hicca said while giving them a sympathetic look. "They can't help it. They're starving, injured and scared. I Don't blame them for thinking all humans are bad."
She then turned to the Gronckle, who was as badly scarred as the other dragons and looked terrified. "Okay, how about you?" She said, knowing Gronckles were not as aggressive as other dragons.
Gronckle simply snarled at her as Hicca sighed, "Okay, I can work with this, it's just a matter of time and trust."
(Linebreak)
Meanwhile the other Dragon Riders were following Heather and Henry to an island which was a Dragon Hunter port.
"That's one of the main Dragon Hunter trading ports." Heather said.
"Nothing goes anywhere without passing through here." Henry added, "These hunters will know where Hicca and Midnight have been taken."
"Alright gang, spread and question every Hunter until one of them tells us where the girls are." Hiccup ordered.
"Got it!" They all said and spread out.
The hunters saw them instantly and raised their crossbows, but Heather flew in closer and Windshear wrapped her tail around one of the Hunters.
"Where is the female Night Fury?" Heather demanded looking at the Hunter. The Hunter simply crossed his arms and refused to speak. "Very well."
They then tossed the Hunter into the sea.
Fishlegs flew up to the catapult and looked at the two Hunters that were guarding it.
"Excuse me. Can any of you tell me where the female Night Fury has been taken?" he asked politely.
The Hunters responded by aiming their crossbows and finding several bolts at him, but they were lucky enough to dodge them.
"Guess not." Fishlegs said.
Meatlug then flew towards the man, spewing lava at them, the two Hunters managed to jump clear before it actually hit them.
Henry dove down and grappled down a hunter, with Wildstar's teeth to his face, "The female Night Fury, where is it?" He demanded but the Hunter kept his lips shut. "Fine." Henry then signaled to Wildstar and then she threw him away.
Hiccup and Toothless then flew over the island and spotted some hunters, "Toothless." Hiccup said as Toothless nodded and dove down. Toothless then reared his legs back as he kicked two Hunters in the face as he then whipped his tail to walk the others onto the ground before he plasma blasted them off their feet.
The Hunter who is still conscious groaned as he looked up and saw Toothless and Hiccup glaring at him. "Where's my sister and her dragon?" Hiccup questioned.
'Where's Midnight and Hicca?!' Toothless demanded with a growl. As his mouth glowed for a plasma blast.
The Hunter turned his head as he crossed his arm, stating that he's not talking.
"Alright then, Toothless?" Hiccup said with a grin as Toothless gave a devious grin.
'Oh, gladly.' Toothless warbles as he grabs the Hunter and starts shaking him randomly before tossing him into the air, wracking him away with his tail.
Hiccup gave a smirk to Toothless. "You enjoy that one, didn't ya, bud?" He asked.
"Definitely for when they took Hicca and Midnight.' Toothless cooed at him while looking at his rider, knowing that he needed to vent out some frustration when the Hunters took Midnight and Hicca.
Snotlout had chased another Hunter into a tree and then landed right in front of him. "Hi! I'm looking for a Healer and a female Night Fury," He said kindly before he glared at him. "Tell me where they are!"
The Hunter aimed his crossbow at them.
"Hookfang?" Snotlout asked his dragon with a smirk.
'With pleasure.' Hookfang said before he fired a fire blast at the Hunter and burnt the crossbow to kindling. The Hunter then looked at him with a determined look on his face.
"I'm not telling you anything," He said firmly.
TheThorston twins then landed next to Snotlout and they dismounted and walked over towards the Hunter.
"Leave this to us, Snotmaster." Tuffnut said.
"Thorston and Thorston are on the case." Ruffnut said.
(Linebreak)
Minutes later they had the Hunter tied to a chair and in a tent. The twins then attempted, badly, to interrogate the man.
"All right, Dragon Hunter," said Ruffnut. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way."
The Hunter just simply shook his head defiantly.
Ruffnut then clicked her neck and then her fingers. She then grabbed an axe and then slammed on the table. "Tell me where Hiccup and Toothless have been taken! Where?" she demanded.
"Hey! Wait a minute," Tuffnut retorted to his sister. "It's my turn to be a Bad Viking."
Ruffnut groaned and turned to her brother. "Can we talk about this later? You're kind of ruining my vibe here."
"No. We should talk about this now."
"Tuff, not in front of the suspect."
The two of them just smiled at the Hunter, who just gave them a weird look. They then turned back to one another and began arguing again.
"If not now, then when?" Tuffnut asked.
"Okay, fine. You want to do this here? Right now?" said Ruffnut. "You're always the bad Viking. I'm always a good Viking! So now I should have a chance to be a bad Viking."
"Hey, you were a bad Viking last time." Tuffnut argued.
"No! You threatened a suspect with Macey, and I offered the suspect cookies." Tuffnut retorted.
Tuffnut frowned at the memory. "That's not how I remember it."
"Every time, Tuff. You do this every time." Ruffnut said, now getting annoyed. "You take over my interrogation and ruin them!"
The Thorston two of them then grabbed a pair of bludgeons and were prior to fighting one another. Fortunately, before they could strike a single blow Snotlout entered the tent and they quickly headed the bludgeons behind their backs.
"Have you two muttonheads gotten any information out of this guy?" Snotlout asked.
"He was just about to crack, somebody ruined it," said Ruffnut glaring at her brother.
"Oh, please! He was never gonna spill the beans the way you were grilling him." Tuffnut said. "You shouldn't even be grillin beans, anyway. Weird."
Snotlout groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why do we trust you two with anything?" He asked himself.
"I'll get him to talk. Just watch," said Tuffnut.
Tuffnut made his way over to the Hunter and glared down at him. "Where have you taken—" It was at that point that Astrid and Hiccup entered the tent. "Oh, come on!"
"Another Hunter just gave up where Hicca and Midnight are being held." Astrid said.
"We now have a location of where they are." Hiccup added. "Come on, let's go." He said to them as he and Astrid then exited the tent.
Tuffnut stared at them. "What? Are you serious?" He asked in bewilderment and then drew his thumb and index finger and inch from each other. "I was this close."
"You were not!" Ruffnut said.
"Yes, I was."
"Were not."
"Yes, I was."
"Were not."
"He was gonna be spillin' and grillin'!" Tuffnut argued.
"Would you two just go?" Snotlout yelled.
"He was gonna grill and spill those beans." Tuffnut said as they left the tent.
Once they were gone, the Hunter began to move his chair backwards, but ended up falling over through the back of the tent.
He eventually managed to free himself and ran to the Hunter that manned the Terrible Terrors.
"We've got to warn for Ryker." He said while panting. "The Dragon Riders are going to attack the dragon fights!"
He then handed the Hunter a roll of parchment and then tied it to a Terrible Terror's leg. He then released it and it flew off into the distance.
(Linebreak)
The Terrible Terror group passed the sea stacks, but behind one of them were the other Riders who were waiting for it.
"So, the Thorston twins didn't get any information out of that guy?" Fishlegs asked.
"What do you think?" Snotlout asked. "Of course they didn't."
"To be honest, I'm not surprised if they were arguing the whole time before threatening the hunter." Raeda muttered.
"I agree." Henry said in agreement.
"Well, we would have if someone whose name rhymes with 'Gastrid' and 'Hiccy' hadn't interrupted us." Tuffnut said.
"Or if someone had just let me do the interrogation in the first place." Ruffnut said, glaring at her brother.
"Ruff, Tuff, be quiet,"Astrid said. She then held out her hand and once the Terrible Terror flew past she said, "Now!"
"Follow that Terrible Terror!" Hiccup ordered.
They then took off chasing down the Terrible Terror. It was only then that the twins realized what Hiccup and Astrid's plan was.
"If my detection senses are correct, I would say that Hiccup and Astrid lied to that Hunter, got in the center of Terrible Terror and we're gonna follow it," Ruffnut said. She then looked down at Hiccup and Astrid, who were each smiling. "Nice job."
"In the sleuthing business, we call this 'tailing'." Tuffnut said.
"In the idiot business, we call this 'the Thortson twins'." Snotlout retorted.
"And business is booming." Tuffnut said stupidly.
"Okay, talk about businesses later. Right now, don't lose sight of that Terrible Terror until we reach its destination!" Hiccup instructed.
They continue to chase down the Terrible Terror that was leading them straight towards where Hicca and Midnight were being held captive.
(Linebreak)
Meanwhile, Hicca was gently making her way to the Gronckle, who was snarling at her as she approached. It then began to lick the cage wall, too hungry to even think about killing her.
"Poor thing, you must be starving." Hicca said. She then grabbed a broken piece of metal and began slamming it into the cage wall knocking a piece of stone from the wall.
"Hey look what I got, a delicious rock," Hicca said, holding out the rock. "Mm. Num-num-num!" The Gronckle then made his way towards her.
Gronckle sniffed the rock and then ate it and it seemed to be enjoying its snack. "Yeah, yeah, good Gronckle. That's it. Eat up." She smiled. "Okay, let's try this." She said, holding his hand out. Unfortunately, the Gronckle simply growled at her, but not as fiercely as before, "Well, it's a start. We'll keep working on it."
Hicca then heard the jangling of keys and the door flew open and entered the Fight Master and two of his guards. The guards made their way to the Razorwhip and unchained it, they then forced it into a cage.
"Now get the Night Fury," The Fight Master ordered.
the hunters then move towards Midnight, "You stay away from her!" Hicca said, narrowing her eyes as the guard moved his way towards Midnight.
One of the guards knocked Hicca aside with a back fist and they then grabbed Midnight. The guard struggled leading her towards the other cage once she was inside and removed her muzzle. Hicca got up in an attempt to stop them, but the Fight Master grabbed her.
"You keep her feisty for a Healer." The Fight Master said as he smirked before Hicca slapped her hand away. "I like that," He said as he walked away.
The two guards then opened the main doors that led into the arena and the Fight Master walked out.
"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, I bring you for the first time in the ring… Midnight the Night Fury!" he roared. The crowd got excited immediately as a guard pulled Toothless cage into the arena. "Battling the most vicious dragon this side of Changewing Island, Sharpclaw the Razorwhip!"
The Fight Master gestured to Sharpclaw, who had already been brought out.
The Fight Master then left the arena and hooks wrapped themselves around the cages and pulled them up. The two dragons hopped off the carts and began to circle one another. Sharpclaw whipped his tail at Midnight, but it appeared more the warning than anything else.
'Listen to me, We're on the same side here.' Midnight tried to reason with Sharpclaw, 'My rider and I can get you and the others out of here.'
'Sorry. I want to trust you, but this is my life now, and to survive I have to fight!' Sharpclaw growled back before he pounced on her.
However the two of them began to wrestle and rolled along the floor. Sharpclaw had then pinned Midnight to the floor and began snapping at her.
Hicca could only watch the battle from inside the cage. "Midnight, get out of there!" Hicca yelled.
Midnight managed to kick Sharpclaw off and then fired a plasma blast at his feet as a warning. However, Sharpclaw took to the air and fired a blast at Midnight. Underneath the smoke he flew at Midnight and grazed one of her front legs with his sharp tail.
'Aaahh!' Midnight roared while cringing in pain from the hit. She looked at her wound before turning back to Sharpclaw, 'Why are you doing this?! You know that this isn't right!'
'Come on! Fight back like your life depends on it!' Sharpclaw roared, 'We were brought here to fight, so act like a dragon and fight back!'
Sharpclaw then flew around the arena and Midnight ran towards one of the arena walls. She timed his jump perfectly, she landed on the wall and used the momentum to jump off it and tackled Sharpclaw and pinned it to the ground. Midnight and opened her mouth preparing to finish things off with a plasma blast.
"No, no, Midnight, no! Don't kill him!" Hicca yelled out.
Midnight looked at her and in the next second Sharpclaw pushed her off it. It tried to bite Midnight, but she whipped it across the head with her tail. Midnight and brought her tail over her head.
'Come on. I'm right here.' Midnight taunts.
She then slowly backed away from the Sharpclaw allowing it to move towards him. Hicca saw that Midnight was leading Sharpclaw to one of the cages that was above them.
"Yes, that's it, girl!" Hicca cheered.
Midnight then came to a plot stop and Sharpclaw pounced, but Midnight jumped over it and fired a plasma blast at the cage above them. The plasma blast cut the rope and the cage landed right on top of Sharpclaw and the crowd cheered, for the battle was over now.
'Sorry. But I think the only way both of us are gonna survive is if one of us is trapped.' Midnight apologized to Sharpclaw, really hating to trap a fellow dragon.
"Thank Thor." Hicca breathed in relief. "You did it, girl. You did it."
"Night Fury!" The crowd chanted over and over again.
Midnight roared at them. 'I am not your champion and this is not fair for any dragon!' but it only excited them even more.
The Fight Master then looked to his guard. "Tell Ryker I've found the solution to both our problems." He said as he laughed.
(Linebreak)
Later that night, Midnight was back in the cage with Hicca by her side and wearing her muzzle. Hicca had already attended to the cut on her leg using a piece of her shirt.
"You did a great thing not killing Sharpclaw, girl." Hicca said with a smile. "I'm so proud of you." She reached out for Midnight's leg but she quickly pulled it away looking down at Hicca.
'Ow.' Midnight whimpered.
"I'm sorry. I know, I know. I promise once we get back home, all the salmon and cod you can eat." Hicca promised as Midnight purred.
The door then slammed open and the Fight Master walked in.
"To the victor goes the spoils," He said and tossed three fish to them.
Hicca grabbed one of the fish and hid it and then turned his attention to the Fight Master. "All right, she fought for you, made you a nice fortune after fighting Sharpclaw. Now you need to let us out of here." She demanded.
"And why would I do that?" The Fight Master asked, looking amused. "When word gets out that I have a Night Fury, Vikings will come all over to see it fight." He said, "Night Fury, meet your next opponent, the Triple Stryke."
Hicca and Midnight looked outside and saw one of the cage doors opening. Walking out of the cage was a stockily built dragon with armored plates on its back that resembles an armadillo's and two legs. Much like the Night Fury, it has two ear-like appendages on its head. Its most notable feature had to be its thick, braided tail that can unwind and split into three thinner ones. Each tail is equipped with a stinger much like a scorpion's. Its front legs actually resemble scorpion pincers. It had bright red eyes and its scales were brown and gold.
Hicca recognized the tails, this was the same dragon the Speed Stinger was fighting when they first arrived, knowing that this would not end well for Midnight or that dragon.
(Linebreak)
Meanwhile, the next day, the twins grabbed the Terrible Terror, which was making its way to a nearby island. The Riders had got a brief look on the island; the one thing that stood out was the chained dome similar to the one they had in Berk.
"Gotcha." Tuffnut said as they flew back to the other Riders.
He then handed the note to Astrid and Hiccup, and once they read, their faces became that of worry. "Dragon fights?" Astrid gasped in fear.
"Hicca and Midnight had been taken to a dragon fight down there." Hiccup said in dread.
Toothless warbled in concern. 'Midnight hates hurting other dragons. Being forced to fight them is a nightmare for her as it is for me.' He said in concern.
"I know, bud. They're not my favorite fights either as my sister hates them as well. But don't worry, we'll get Midnight and Hicca out of there." Hiccup assured his dragon as he patted his head in comfort.
"Forcing dragons to fight each other? That's inhuman." Fishlegs said angrily.
"And people will go nuts when they find out it's a Night Fury that's fighting," Heather added.
"It will only be a matter of time before either my father or uncle get wind of this and you know what they'll do." Henry said. "And it could be bad for Midnight if she has to fight the Triple Stryke." He added.
The other riders are surprised by what Henry just said. "A Triple Stryke? What's a Triple Stryke?" Fishlegs asked.
"I only heard mention of a dragon called a Triple Stryke before I left the Hunters. It's the number one dragon champion in dragon fights." Henry started. "With three deadly Scorpion tails, powerful pincers and jaws strong enough to bite any dragon in half! No dragon stands a chance against it."
The others widened their eyes at this as Hiccup spoke in dread. "Oh boy. If that's true, then this is bad for Hicca and Midnight." He said as Toothless looked more worried then before for his mate.
"With a dragon like that, then Midnight might be in for a fight for her life if she faces that dragon." Raeda added.
"Why are we even discussing this?" Snotlout asked impatiently. "Hicca and Midnight need us. Ergo, we go. As in, dragon's blazin'."
"We can't do that, Snotlout." Heather said. "You saw that chain dome. There's no way we can get in there."
"And not to mention that it's dragon proof and there are some guards around while there are innocent people watching the show." Henry added as he pointed out every detail of the arena.
"So what do we do?" Fishlegs asked.
"We'll use our superior slothing skills." Tuffnut said.
"Uh, I think you mean sleuthing." Hiccup corrected with a bored expression.
"And no offense, but your sleuthing skills have not gotten very far," Fishlegs pointed out.
"Don't worry, Fishlegs. Remember, we're masters of infiltration." Tuffnut assured.
They then watched as the Thorston twins died down towards the island.
"Oh, this is gonna go well," Snotlout groaned.
"For once I agree with you, Snotlout." Raeda said in agreement..

Meanwhile, in the arena, Hicca was holding onto fish to Whip-Slash the Monstrous Nightmare, "Come on, you want the fish right?" She said as the dragon happily. But then he choked on it, spat it out and shot a fire blast at Hicca.
"I've seen this before when Hookfang acted this way." Hicca said, remembering four years ago when Hookfang went crazy. "Hang on."
She held out the fish again and when Whip-Slash opened its mouth Hicca as she tried to find the fault.
"Okay, now, call me old-fashioned, but I prefer not to lose my arm, like my brother lost his leg." Hicca said as she then quickly reached in, grabbed a metallic hook that was located in its mouth and gave it a good tug, removing it. "There we go." She said,
'Hey! What was that abou-' Whip-Slash roared at her, but a few seconds later he realized, 'Hey, the pain. It's gone.'
"That was a problem, this was poking the inside of your mouth." Hicca said, looking at her hand and found herself holding a steel hook.
She then dropped it and then held out the fish which Whip-Slash ate happily. Whip-Slash then nuzzled his snout at Hiccup affectionately. 'Oh, thank you. I've had that stuck in there for months!'
"It's okay. It's okay. You're welcome." Hicca assured.
She then approached Steeltrap the Deadly Nadder, who then snarled at him. "Hey, hey. It's alright. It's okay," Hicca said calmly as she placed himself in Steeltrap blind spot. "I'm just gonna find a blind spot and…" She then quickly scratched beneath its chin, calming it. "There you go. How's that feel?" She asked the Deadly Nadder.
'Oh, yeah. That's nice.' Steeltrap snarled happily.
"See? I'm not gonna hurt ya." Hicca assured Steeltrap with a smile.
The arena doors opened and they turned to find the Fight Master and several guards entering. They were dragging in Sharpclaw' from yesterday's fight.
"You make sure you lock that manacled tight." The Fight Master said as the Hunters chained Sharpclaw. "A Razorwhip tail can cut through anything."
Then one of the guards placed a metal brace of dragon proof metal onto the Sharpclaws's tail, preventing him from using his spikes.
Hicca could only watch sadly at the abuse of these dragons.

Meanwhile the docks, Vikings were pouring in from all over, eager to see the fight of the year. One of these visitors was Ryker, who seemed to be happy with the increase of spectators.
"Welcome, welcome. Great fight tonight. Great fight!" The Fight Master said, welcoming the new arrivals.
"Well, this is promising." Ryker said, eyeing the crowd.
"I have a new challenger for the Triple Stryke," The Fight Master said happily. "A most formidable opponent."
"What kind of dragon?" Ryker asked curiously.
"You shall see," said the Fight Master, not wanting to ruin the surprise.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the island the twins had landed on the island and were approaching two Hunters casually as if it was perfectly normal.
"Okay, infiltration plan number thirty-four. You got it?" Tuffnut asked.
"Thirty-four. Copy that," Ruffnut nodded as they approached the Hunters.
"Gentlemen, we are Thorston and Thorston." Tuffnut said as both he and his sister placed their backs against one another and crossed their arms.
"Sleuths' extraordinaire." Ruffnut added.
"We've been tailing a very dangerous suspect who is inside. If you help us, my good man, a hefty reward will be coming your way." Tuffnut said to them.
"Hmm. Reward, you say?" One of the Hunters asked curiously, greed getting the better of him.
"Oh, yeah. Mad bricks of gold, my Viking," said Tuffnut.
"Oh… yoo-hoo…" said Ruffnut to the Hunters flinging her hair and winking at them.
"What's wrong with you?" One of the Hunters asked.
Tuffnut quickly pulled his sister towards him and away from the Hunters. "What are you doing?"
"Infiltration plan number thirty-four. And it's working," Ruffnut said, wiggling her hips and smiling seductively.
"Ruffnut, that's plan forty-three!" He said.
"Uh, nah. Pretty sure it's thirty-four," She said.
"You and I need to have a discussion about our numbering system." Tuffnut said.
They then turned back to the Hunters.
"Oh, boys!" Tuffnut said in a girly voice and gave a seductive smile. "So, what do you say? Will you help us catch our suspect?"
Ruffnut quickly facepalmed herself.
"Fine, you can go through, but I want the bricks first." The Hunter said.
"Sure, they're right over here." said Tuffnut pointing upwards.
The Hunters looked up with their eyes widened, because Barf and Belch stood on top of a boulder and each of the heads was holding a boulder in their mouths. They then drop them on top of the Hunters.

Meanwhile, at the arena, the fight was getting underway. Ryker was watching with great interest with his arms crossed the Fight Master was psyching the crowd up.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the main event!" The Fight Master cried. "The reigning champion: The Triple Stryke." The crowd gasped as the cage that surrounded the Triple Stryke was hoisted up into the air and its one tail split into three different tails. "Versus, the newcomer: Midnight the Night Fury!"
As Midnight's cage was lifted up into the air Ryker's eyes widened when he heard the dragon's name and saw her tail. "Midnight the Night Fury?! The Healer's dragon?!" He shouted. He then turned to the Fight Master. "Stop the fight! We need that dragon alive!"
"Do you want a riot on your hands?" The Fight Master asked, gesturing to the excited crowd around them. "I'm not stopping for anything. Listen to that crowd."
"Where's the girl? And more importantly, where is the boy and male?" Ryker asked furiously.
"Oh, you don't need to worry about the girl. And she wasn't with a boy or a male when she and that Night Fury arrived." The Fight Master assured.
Ryker then grabbed his throat and lifted him up off his feet. "If the Triple Stryke kills that Night Fury, I kill you," He threatened.
He then dropped into the ground and walked away.
"I really hate that guy," The Fight Master grumbled while glaring at Ryker.
'Finally, a worthy opponent.' The Triple Stryke then jumped off his cart and charged straight towards Midnight, who jumped out of the way as she swung her tail at him. Midnight landed behind him and the two of them roared at each other.
'Please, we don't have to fight!" Midnight roared to the Triple Stryke, 'Don't you see there's nothing for you to gain in this?'
'You're wrong, I do have something to gain.' The Triple Stryke snarled as he split his tail into three,'I get to fight the mightiest dragons for the rest of my life!' He roared and sent his stinger straight at Midnight. 'And it's not every day you get to fight a Night Fury!'
Fortunately, Midnight was agile enough to dodge all three and jumped into the air and fired a plasma blast at him.
'This is gonna be harder than I thought if this dragon actually likes to fight.' Midnight warbled, knowing that it is gonna be hard to face this dragon. 'Oh, Toothless, where are you?' She wondered where her mate and the other riders were, knowing that she and Hicca could really use their aid.

Meanwhile, Hiccup, Astrid, Henry and Heather had landed and were searching through the Hunters camp for any trace of Hicca and Midnight. Four hunters blocked their path and the four young Vikings dried their weapons and gave a battle cry as they charged straight at them.

Meanwhile in the arena, the Triple Stryke had tackled Midnight and the two of them were rolling on the ground. Midnight managed to kick Triple Stryke off of her and slammed him into the arena wall.
However, the Triple Stryke then grabbed Midnight with her tail and they flew up into the air. 'Hehe, now I've got you!' The Triple Stryke growled.
Ryker glared at the Fight Master, who quivered slightly. The Triple Stryke had wrapped one of its scorpion-like tails around Midnight and was pointing the other two directly at him.
However, before he could strike, Midnight struck him with her tail, freeing herself and knocking the Triple Stryke onto the ground. She then fired a plasma blast, but it had very little effect on him and he charged at the Night Fury.

Meanwhile, Hiccup, Astrid, Henry and Heather were charging at the Hunters. Heather jumped and kicked at one of them and Hiccup used his shield to block one of the Hunters attacks and then performed a spin kick. Henry ducked out of the way an axe before doing a leg sweep and slashing his sword at another one as Astrid slammed her axe down onto her Hunter, cutting right through his spear and turned to Stormfly.
"Stormfly!" Astrid yelled.
Stormfly then head-butted the Hunter, sending him flying. However, on top of one of the cages Hunter was aiming a dragon root arrow at her, but Snotlout and Hookfang appeared out of nowhere and slammed into him.
"Snotlout!" Snotlout yelled enthusiastically not noticing a hunter behind him.
But before he could strike him, two nadder spines pinned him to the wall, "And Raeda!" Raeda declared as the others turned and saw Raeda from the sky as she waved to them as the others smiled at her for her aid. "Go on! We got this!" She called out.
Hiccup nodded and gestured to Henry and the girls to follow as they rushed to the arena.

Meanwhile in the arena, Midnight was still battling the Triple Stryke, who now brought his tails back together as one. 'Come on! Fight me like you mean it!' He roared before he performed a tail slam straight on top of Midnight, who dodged in time and watched as the Triple Stryke smashed his cart. Midnight then made a U-turn and slammed him against the cage door where Hicca was imprisoned.
Hicca was attempting to free herself by getting Steeltrap and Whip-Slash to melt the manacled on the Sharpclaw's tail. If this was gonna work, she needed all the dragons.
"Come on! We almost got it!" She said desperately.
Hicca looked outside and saw the Triple Stryke had thrown MIdnight off of him, who had grabbed hold of the safety rail on top of the arena. The Triple Stryke then struck Midnight with his tail, Midnight was unable to dodge it this time.
She then crawled back up onto the cart, her eyes turning to slits as her teeth came out 'You want a fight? Alright then. Let's end this!' Midnight growled at the Triple Strike, getting serious this time as she's tired of being knocked around.
Hicca could now see that Midnight was now fighting to kill. "There's only one way Midnight or that Triple Stryke are gonna survive. And I hope she doesn't think what I think she's thinking." She said in worried.
Midnight then roared and charged at the Triple Stryke, destroying the cart as well. She dodged the Triple Stryke tails and then slammed into him, causing him to crash into the arena wall.
He then got up with a grin, 'Now that's more like it!' He growled, now getting the fight he wanted as he charged at Midnight.
Hicca was not desperately trying to remove the manacled from Sharpclaw, with very little success. Then she heard fighting outside the door and turned to see a Hunters' head slamming against the bars.
A few seconds later, Astrid's head popped out from the bars looking at him with relief. "Hicca! Yes!" she yelled with relief.
Hiccup's face then showed next. "Sis! You're okay!" He yelled in relief as well with a smile.
"Thank Thor!" Henry said as he appeared next to them.
"Guys!" Hicca said, relieved that her brother and friends are now here.
Next second Windshear knocked the door off its hinges and Hiccup, Henry, Astrid and Heather ran into the room.
"I knew we'd find you!" Hiccup said as he wrapped his arms around his sister.
"I'm fine." Hicca assured. "But it's Midnight and the Triple Stryke I'm worried about! We gotta hurry!"
Heather nodded. "Tail slice," She commanded.
Windshear then sliced the Sharpclaw's manacle off with her tail and at that moment they heard Midnight's growls.
"Oh, no." Hicca said worry.
Outside, Midnight was firing up a barrage plasma blast at the Triple Stryke and eventually knocked him onto the ground.
From the top of the arena, Toothless saw the look in his mate's eyes, and he didn't like it.
"And now, the final strike!" The Fight Master cheered.
The Triple Stryke weakly lifted his head as Midnight approached him glaring, 'Do it, finish me.' He told her before he collapsed.
'As if I need convincing!' Midnight snarled and placed paw on the Triple Stryke and charged up her Plasma blast to deal the final blow.
The four teen gasped in horror at what they saw, "Midnight NO!" Hicca called to her dragon.
'Midnight! Stop!' Toothless' voice called out in a tone that only Midnight could hear as she turned and saw her mate on the top of the arena with no one looking at him as he looked down to his mate in concern. 'Don't do this!' He called out.
'Toothless?!' Midnight warbled in surprise. "You're here!' She yelled in joy.
'Yes, I'm here. But stop what you're doing and think about what you were about to do!' Toothless roared out to her. 'Your about to kill a dragon that was forced to fight for entertainment for the Hunters to make money off of it!' He pointed out.
'But this dragon knew what he was doing! He knows what he's fighting for and why he's doing this! He only does this for fun!' Midnight pointed out in rage.
'He's just confused, isolated from the outside world and with no freedom. Fighting is all he knows.' Toothless reasoned as he gave his mate a pleading look. 'Please, Midnight. Remember, we were in the same position with Hiccup and Hicca five years ago and you even got me to let go of my grudge with my old rival when he injured you and you helped free the Skrill even though he tried to kill you and Hicca. Please, Midnight, you are better than this.' He warbled to his mate.
Midnight thought of what her mate told her as she looked down upon the Triple Stryke, seeing the fear and despair in his eyes. She remembered that she and Toothless would have been in the same position as him five years ago with Hiccup and Hicca. Midnight's pupil widened and stepped off the Triple Stryke, disappointing the crowd greatly.
Both Ryker and the Fight Master left the crowd, no doubt making their way to the arena.
The Triple Stryke got back onto his feet and looked at Midnight curiously. 'You, spared me? Why?' he rumbled in confusion
'Because, I don't kill other dragons for no reason. I only fight to defend myself but I don't take lives. That's not who I am.' Midnight warbled while giving the Triple Stryke a determined expression. 'I think that's not who you are either.'
Triple Stryke looked at Midnight in surprise at her words as he gave a deep thought to what she said while on top of them, Toothless looked at his mate with a proud smile.
They then turned as the door behind them opened and Ryker, the Fight Master and a guard appeared with the intention of capturing the two of them.
'Ryker!' Midnight snarled as she turned to him.
Then the Triple Stryke brought his tails together and stood beside her, 'Don't worry, I've got you back.'
Ryker was slightly taken aback by their new alliance, but he shook his head and pressed forward to it. Then they heard noises coming from the cage behind the two dragons and suddenly the door exploded.
"This ends now!" Hicca's voice cried as she emerged out of the smoke.
Then Steeltrap, Whip-Slash and Sharpclaw charged both the Fight Master and the guard. The guard was quickly disarmed by Steeltrap and ran for it, but the Fight Master found himself tangled up by Shaprclaw's tail and lifted up into the air. 'Who's the boss now!?' He snarled.
He looked at it terrifyingly and then it dropped him right in front of the Triple Stryke, who roared at him so loudly his helmet blew right off. 'It's payback time!' The Triple Stryke raised his tail to kill his abuser.
'No! Don't! Be the bigger dragon here.' Midnight stopped him as the Triple Styke huffed and ceased his attack and Hicca approached the Fight Master.
"I would get out of here if I were you. These dragons are pretty tick off for how you treated them." Hicca advised with a smirk.
The Fight Master took her advice to heart as he got up and ran for the exit, whimpering the whole way. This left Ryker holding his sword with a determined look, but even he had to admit that he can take on all of them and he backed away towards the exit.
The Triple Stryke then looked at Hicca and Midnight and watched as Hicca gave Midnight an affectionate hug.
"It's good to see you, too, girl. I am so proud of you." Hicca as Midnight growled affectionately.
'Thank you, Hicca. I am just happy you are okay.' Midnight growled.
Toothless manages to get himself into the arena when the guards are out as he makes his way inside and jumps on Midnight as the two Night Furies roll across the floor before they stop as Toothless is on top of Midnight.
'I am so glad you are okay, Midnight. Don't ever do that to me again.' Toothless purred as he nuzzled Midnight as he gave her a lick to her face.
Midnight shuddered pleasantly at the nuzzling and lick Toothless gave her as she nuzzled her mate back. 'I'm not making any promises, but I'll try. But thanks for coming for me and Hicca and for helping remind me of not taking one life for another.' She purred.
"For you, I would've passed through the gates of Vahalla to reach you.' Toothless purred as the two Night Furies nuzzled each other.
The Dragon Riders gave heartwarming smiles at the two Night Furies moments after being reunited.
"Glad to see Toothless is happy to reunite with Midnight." Hiccup commented with a smile.
"And Midnight is glad to be back with her mate as well. After what just happened, she really needs it." Hicca added with a smile.
The crowd were not too happy by this scene, but their attention was diverted when Snotlout and Hookfang fired a fire blast at them.
"Justice! Get your justice here!" Snotlout yelled. "Get it while it's hot!"
Raeda and Sparkfire then landed on the other side, "With a side order of retribution, extra crispy!" She declared as Sparkfire blasted her magnesium blast.
They began running for their lives and ran even more when Fishlegs and Meatlug arrived to cause their own little bit of chaos.
"Dragon fights! I'll give you dragon fighting!" said Fishlegs in disgust.
The three teens landed side-by-side from each other and smirked at one another. They then flew over to the chain dome and began to lift into the air.
"Come on, girl, put your meat into it." Fishlegs said to Meatlug.
Once the cage was lifted the Steel Trap, Whip-Slash and Sharpclaw flew off into the air. Hicca then turned towards the Triple Stryke. 'What?' He asked as he tilted his head.
"Go on. Go." Hicca said encouragingly. However, the Triple Stryke still looked confused. "You're free."
"He's been in captivity for too long, Hicca." Fishlegs said as he flew down. "He doesn't know how to be free."
"He's right. This dragon was raised here since he was a hatchling. This arena is the only home and life he's ever known." Henry said, gesturing to the arena, "And he's afraid to leave it."
Fortunately, after having a well deserved moment with Toothless, Midnight began making certain gestures with her wings in order to encourage the Triple Stryke into the air.
'You don't have to live your life fighting all the time.' Midnight said with a smile, 'Come with us. We'll take you to a place where you can truly be happy.'
The Triple Stryke looked to the sky a bit unsurely, but then in a moment of courage, he took off into the air.
"Yes!" Hicca cheered. She then looked to the others. "Come on, guys. Let's go home."
They then flew off into the air flying as far away from the island as possible.
"It's good to have you back, sis. Toothless and I were really worried about you and Midnight." Hiccup said as he rubbed his dragon's head.
"I wasn't worried for a second!" said Snotlout chuckling.
"Sure, you weren't." Fishlegs said skeptically. "Toothless would've killed you if we hadn't found Hicca."
"That is if Stoick didn't beat him to the punch," Raeda jokes.
Snotlout laughed and glared at the two of them. "Shut up!" He retorted.
They then turned to look at the Triple Stryke, who seemed to be enjoying his freedom as he spun around. 'Wow, this is amazing.' He crooned in awe as he did flips and spins.
"Look at that magnificent creature." Tuffnut said in awe. "So dangerous, so deadly. I shall call him 'Sleuther'."
Sleuther then flew upside down and soared towards Hicca and Midnight.
"Hicca, I think he wants to come back with us." Fishlegs guessed.
"After what he's been through, I can't say I blame him for wanting some retirement." Henry said with a smile.
Sleuther then stuck his tongue out and looked down at Midnight, who did the same.
Hicca laughed. "Sleuther, I think you'll like the Edge." She promised.
"Welcome to the team, Sleuther. You're free and will be for a long time." Hiccup said with a smile.
They all then made their way back home and with a new friend among them.
