Chapter 36: Tone Death
It was late at night, and the Dragon Riders were flying towards an island where Dragon Hunters were smuggling dragons off an island.
"Okay, gang!" said Hiccup looking at the other Riders. "Stay with your teammate and lock down your specific island. This Dragon Hunter is sneaky."
"So sneaky that he is very skilled and stealthy to capture dragons and ship them off without knowing." Hicca added.
"He comes in, transfers his cargo, and slips out under the cover of darkness. Very mysterious." Fishlegs said.
"He's one of my father's top Hunters in his whole empire. He can be very stealthy even for a Hunter." Henry pointed out.
"Very boring." Snotlout said. "Can we get to it?"
They then flew towards the island and split off into groups.

Hiccup was partnered up with Snotlout.
"So, I need you to put in a good word for me, Hiccup." Snotlout said as he flew next to his cousin..
Hiccup frowned. "What? With who? Astrid?"
"Please." Snotlout said dismissively. "I'm so over Astrid. You can have her."
Hiccup just blinked. "Wow, thanks, I appreciate that," he said in a sarcastic tone.
The sarcasm was lost on Snotlout. "Anytime, I'm a giver. Listen, I know Heather's been dying to approach me but I fear's got her 'scurred'."
It became clear to Hiccup that Snotlout would never understand women or how to approach them. "Yeah, I don't think Heather gets 'scurred', Snotlout. Besides, I'm not sure you're ready for a woman like Heather. She's far too, uh, sincere, honest, brave."
"I think honesty, I fake sincerity, I can fake all those things," said Snotlout.
"Oh, yeah, and by the way, she's smart, too," Hiccup added and flew off.
"I think being smarters." Snotlout said, crossing his arms.
Hookfang snorted. 'Yeah, no you won't.' He snorted as he didn't believe that Snotlout could fake being smart.
(Linbreak)
Somewhere else on the island, Hicca partnered up with Henry as they flew overhead, looking for the hunter.
"Henry, are you certain that this hunter is stealthy?" Hicca asked.
"He wouldn't be if my dad didn't pay him double the amount for this job." Henry stated. "Just keep a sharp eye, he could be hiding in the shadows from what I can tell." He added.
"Good thing you told us about him so we know who we're dealing with." Hicca said to Henry with a smile.
"Being the son of Viggo Grimborn can let you in on his secrets." Henry said with a smile as well. "But let's keep focus, we don't wanna lose this hunter." He pointed out, getting back on track of their mission.
"Right." Hicca said as she and Midnight focused on their search.
(Linebreak)
Astrid, Raeda and the Thorston twins were soon flying over the island and then Astrid noticed a Dragon Hunter ship and Hunters down on the ground.
Astrid held her hand out to signal Raeda and the Thorston twins to stop. She watched as the Hunters made their way towards the ship. "I think we should move in slowly, preserving the element of…" Astrid started.
However, before she could finish, the Thorston twins flew down towards the ground.
"Coming in hot!" Tuffnut yelled.
"Woo-ooo-ooo!" Ruffnut cried in joy.
Astrid sighed. "… surprise," She finished sarcastically.
"Why do we bring the Thosrton twins on this mission?" Raeda asked with a raised brow.
"Trust me, I've asked myself the same question every day." Astrid said, rubbing her forehead.
Knowing that they had no choice they flew down towards the twins that had made their way to a cart with a tarpaulin.
"Viola!" Tuffnut cried, removing the tarpaulin.
There sat in the middle of the cart was a dragon egg.
"Dragon egg!" Ruffnut cried in excitement.
By which point the Hunters had discovered them and began firing arrows at them. The Thorston Twins screamed as they ran for cover and one of the Hunters grabbed the cart.
"Oh, no, you don't!" said the Blonde Twins in unison.
'Fire in the Hole!' Barf and Belch roared as they fired a gas and spark attack, but it missed the Hunter.
By this point Astrid and Raeda had arrived.
"Guys, we need to protect the egg, not fry it," said Astrid.
"They're getting away!" Raeda cried, pointing at the Hunters.
Indeed the hunters were in a row boat heading towards their ship. Astrid and Raeda try to intercept them, but Hunters fire arrows at them from their ship. They were able to dodge the first wave of arrows.
"Stormfly!/Sparkfire!" Both Astrid and Raeda yelled as both Sparkfire and Stormfly fired a stream of fire up into the sky creating a flare.
The other Riders saw the flare instantly and flew over towards their position.
"We're never gonna get out of here!" A Hunter said as he saw Hiccup and Snotlout flying towards them from the port side.
"It's the egg they want!"
"They want the egg?" The captain started before giving a hard stare. "Give it to them!"
A Hunter then loaded the egg onto a catapult.
"Get ready to move, guys!" Astrid yelled.
"They're about to launch the egg!" Raeda called out.
"Fire!" The captain yelled as they launched the egg into the air.
"We got it! We got it!" The Thorston twins yelled in unison flying towards the egg.
"Back off, Twidiots. It's mine!" Snotlout yelled as he soared over towards the egg.
"Back off, Snotlout!" Ruffnut yelled.
However, the three of them all missed the egg and collided with one another. Fishlegs was able to knock the egg towards Raeda, who knocked it towards Henry, which bounced off each of his five dragons until it was knocked towards Astrid, who nodded towards Heather.
"Heather!" Astrid yelled.
"Got it." Heather said as she reached for the egg however, she missed and it rolled off Windshear towards the cliffside. It stopped an inch away from the cliff, but it looked dangerously precarious.
"No!" Heather gasped.
The egg then tipped off the edge, but fortunately the Haddock appeared out of nowhere on top of Midnight and Toothless with Hiccup caught the egg in his hands.
"Well, that was fun." Hiccup said as he and his sister then looked to the others. "Hey, I've got an idea, how we get this back to the edge, safely."
"And this time, either me and my brother carry it so that we don't play 'tossing the egg' again." Hicca joked as the Dragon Riders then flew off, letting the Hunters get away since they have nothing valuable like the egg or dragons on them.
(Linebreak)
The next morning, Hiccup, Hicca and Fishlegs were in the clubhouse studying the egg trying to figure out what species of dragon it originated from.
"It's definitely not a Changewing." said Hiccup, remembering the difficulties they had last time they bought an egg back home.
"Thank Thor." Fishlegs breathed with relief.
"Yeah, it was clear since we've all seen their eggs and this one is not glowing into different colors," Hicca added since they already know what a Changewing egg looks like.
"And it's not the type of any of our dragons." Hiccup said next.
"Oh, can you imagine Meatlug with her own egg?" Fishlegs asked wondrously. "It would be so cute."
The Haddock twins were looking through the Book of Dragons trying to find any clue of the eggs' identity. "We don't think it's in here, guys."
"While I'm glad that this egg is safe from the hunters, that doesn't mean we know what this egg is," Hicca said while folding her arms. "Without us knowing what type of dragon it's going to be we might not be able to take care of it properly if we don't know what kind it is when it hatches." She added.
"Well, when it hatches, we'll find out sooner or later, sis." Hiccup assured.
"Well, someone certainly has their own ideas on what it is," Tuffnut said as he entered the clubhouse.
Chicken then jumped onto the table, looked at the egg and then sat on top of it.
"Look who's feeling motherly." Tuffnut said while smiling. "Aren't you, little chicken?" He then stuck his finger out towards Chicken. "Give me a kiss."
Chicken then picked his finger. "OW! Easy, pal, I'm on your side." Tuffnut said, rubbing his finger.
Fishlegs chuckled. "If you're gonna hatch that egg, I think you're gonna need a little bit more power than that, Chicken. But it was a nice try." He said.
"Don't listen to him, Chicken. Haters gonna hate, hatches gotta hatch," said Tuffnut snapping his fingers. "And, buddy, you're a-hatchin'."
Chicken then clucked and Tuffnut cooed.
"We should check the Dragon Eye notes again, just to be sure," Hiccup said, turning to Hicca and Fishlegs.
"Okay, but I didn't see anything in there about eggs or hatching." Fishlegs told him.
"I'll check the Bork papers, but I'm not confident we'll find anything." Hicca said.
The three made their way outside.
It was at that moment that Tuffnut noticed the egg was beginning to crack. "Uh, guys," He said, trying to get their attention.
"Not now, Tuff." said Hiccup, with his head buried in the Book of Dragons.
"Okay," Tuffnut shrugged.
He then bent down and watched as the egg began to crack some more. It was that point that the three dragon experts heard the cracking sound and turned to discover the egg was about to hatch.
"Tuffnut!" Hiccup yelled.
"Knowing the egg is about a hatch would have been helpful." Hicca frowned.
"Why did you say something?" Fishlegs asked.
"Really?" said Tuffnut rolling his eyes, now they notice.
They all made their way towards the egg and they heard more cracking sounds.
"Can make you wonder what came first, the chicken, or the chicken." Tuffnut joked to them.
Hicca rolled her eyes, "Actually the phrase is the Chicken or the e-" Just before she could finish, the egg exploded causing them to cover their eyes, and knocking Chicken into the air. They uncovered their eyes and saw the new baby dragon, it had light orange scales, two tiny horns and four legs. Unfortunately neither of them recognised the species.
Hicca smiled at him, "Aww, he's adorable." She cooed.
"What is that?" Fishlegs asked.
"It's familiar, but I can't place it," said Hiccup.
"Neither can I. But he's so cute." Hicca said cutely.
It was then that the baby dragon began to screech loudly and harshly as three of them covered their ears.
"Oh, no! No, no! Stop! Stop!" Tuffnut screamed in pain since he was so close to the baby dragon.
"I'll take that back! He's cute but he's really loud for a baby dragon his age!" Hicca yelled.
"I liked him better when he was inside!" Fishlegs yelled to them as outside the dragons heard the screeching.
'AHH! What's that?!' Smitvarg asked as he and his flock flew away.
'My ears!' The Skrill shrieked in pain as he retreated into his mountain cave.
'Who's making all that noise?!' Sleuther demanded as he and the other dragons at the lake ran to escape the horrible sound.
(Linebreak)
It was late at night and still the baby dragon was screeching its lungs off. The Riders and their dragons could barely take any more than it.
"For a baby dragon, he sure has powerful lungs to keep screeching like that!" Henry pointed out.
"Can someone please shut that thing up?!" Snotlout begged.
"Aww, it probably needs its mother." Heather said, looking at the baby dragon sympathetically. "Poor thing, all by itself."
"That's what I was trying to say, because I'm so sincere." Snotlout said, smiling at Heather. "Of course, these fools don't listen, but I listen."
"You hardly listen to any of us!" Raeda retorted as the baby dragon kept screeching, "Geez, and I thought Screamy was loud!"
"I got it!" Tuffnut cried.
"What! What is it?" Hiccup asked hopefully.
"Please tell us your thoughts?" Hicca asked as well in the same tone as her brother.
"Garffiljorg." Tuffnut said.
"What?" The Haddock twins ask as they stare at him.
"His name." Tuffnut said, gesturing to the baby dragon.
"Who cares what we call it?" Ruffnut yelled. "Not like it's listening to us anyway."
"Chicken cares. I mean, it did come out of her." Tuffnut pointed out.
"Tuffnut, she didn't actually…" Hiccup began, but stopped when Tuffnut narrowed his eyes at him. "Never mind."
"But how about we just call him 'Garff'?" Hicca suggested.
"Really? You two sis?" Hiccup asked his sister in surprise.
"Hey, I may not like this loud noise Garff is screeching right now, but at least it's a short name." Hicca said in defense. "And we can't keep calling him "The baby dragon" if we don't even know what he is."
Tuffnut thought of what Hicca just said as he nodded. "Actually, Garff sounds perfect for this guy." He said in agreement while gesturing to Garff who was still screeching. "I think he likes it!"
"Great, so how are we gonna get Garff to be quiet!?" Henry asked, wincing from the noise.
"Maybe he just needs a nap!" Hicca suggested as she picked Garff up and carried him to the stables.
Later that night, they placed Garff in the stables, but he was still crying like there was no tomorrow.
"Oh. How are the dragons gonna sleep, with this little guy in there?" Fishlegs moaned.
"It's them or us, Fishface." Snotlout said. "But, please, feel free to babysit that thing if you want to."
He then made his way outside, passing Heather and Hicca as he did so.
"Maybe I should stay with it?" Heather offered.
"Same here." Hicca said in agreement.
Snotlout quickly turned around and smiled at Heather. "That's exactly what I was thinking. Oh, we're like two yaks in a stall, you and me, Heather."
Astrid and Raeda groaned in disgust.
"Doesn't he know already that Heather is taken for Fishlegs?" Raeda asked in annoyance.
"He's just been trying to win her since we first met Heather." Astrid said with a sigh.
"Well, he's persistent, that's for sure." Raeda muttered as she looked at the two with a touch of, envy.
"Look, if we shut these doors, plug our ears, and sleep under our beds, we just might be able to catch a few winks," Hiccup said as Garff then cried even louder as the riders cringe.
"I don't think that plan will work, Hiccup." Hicca called out.
"Yeah, okay, let's just get out of here before our heads explode." Hiccup said as he walked out the door.
All the Riders then made their way outside.
"Chicken, come on, it's bedtime." Tuffnut said, looking down at her. "Hey! I'll tell you the story about the angry chicken who took on the Buffalord."
However, Chicken instead one over towards Garff.
"She just ain't having it, she wants to stay with Garffiljorg. Or Garff as we all agreed." Tuffnut told them.
Chicken made her way over to Garff and began clucking rhythmically and then Garff stopped crying. He was actually squawking in a rhythmic tone as well.
"OH, HE STOOPED CRY—"Hiccup yelled, but quickly stopped and then said in a much quieter voice, "He stopped crying."
"But why?" Raeda asked in surprise.
"That's because Chicken sang to him." Tuffnut said. "Didn't you hear that?" He then chuckled. "Oh, the pipes, chicken."
"And the way he copied her, it almost sounded like he was…Singing." Hicca slowed herself as she looked at Chicken and Garff as they stared at one another. She then noticed the Blue fins on the sides of Garff's head and his tail, the shape of his head, wings and horns. And then, she suddenly realized she'd seen those exact same feature on another, much bigger dragon, "Uh-oh." She said in worried.
"Um, what do you mean 'Uh-oh'? Garff finally stopped crying!" Snotlout told her.
"I mean, Uh-oh I figured what kind of dragon Garff is." Hicca said nervously.
Before the others could ask, suddenly out of nowhere,Garff spat amber out of his mouth. The amber covered Chicken's body, leaving her completely defenseless and Garff began to lick his lips excitedly.
"Bad dragon!" Tuffnut yelled, grabbing Chicken before Garff could sink his teeth into her. He then looked at the others. "Um, does this look familiar to anyone but me? Impenetrable amber cocoon, vicious hungry dragon, terrified Vikings?"
"It's a baby Deathsong, Tuffnut. Believe me, we know." Fishlegs said, knowing that only one species of dragon spat amber.
"Yep. That's the one." Hicca confirmed. "I recognize those features Garff has on him from anywhere." She added.
"Oh, that's just perfect," Snotlout moaned.
They then left the stables as Garff continued to cry.
(Linebreak)
The next morning, the Haddock twins attempt to free Chicken from her amber prison. Hicca was using a knife trying to chip away the amber, but the stuff was incredibly thick.
While they were working Tuffnut was sobbing hysterically.
"Tuffnut, could you please help us out?" Hiccup asked.
"Crying won't get Chicken free faster!" Hicca told him.
"And do what?" Tuffnut sobbed.
"Calm your chicken!" said Hiccup. "It's not doing any of us any good to have the entire Edge freaking out."
Tuffnut made his way over to Chicken to comfort her. "I'm here, Chicken. Don't you worry. Everything's gonna turn out…" Tuffnut then started crying again and then hugged her. "I can't lie to a chicken!"
"Oh my Thor. It's already as hard as it is to break this amber, but Tuffnut is on an emotional breakdown for his pet Chicken." Hicca muttered.
"You know, that'd go much easier if you had some Monstrous Nightmare gel." Snotlout said, leaning against the doorway. "Plus, you could get yourself some rotisserie chicken while you're at it." He then chuckled and began to rub his stomach. "That sounds good."
Tuffnut then tackled Snotlout in a blind rage. The Haddock Twins watched as Tuffnut lifted Snotlout up in a neck lock.
"You apologized to her now! You hear me?!" Tuffnut demanded.
"No!" Snotlout yelled in defiance.
"Nobody's rotisserie Chicken." Tuffnut yelled as Chicken clucked in agreement. "Nobody! So you keep that Monstrous Nightmare gel away from her!"
"Actually, Tuff, Snotlout may have the right idea," Hicca said, getting onto her feet as Chicken clucked and looked at her in worry.
Tuffnut looked at her as she had gone mad, "Oh, sure, what's next? 'Roasted Midnight Ala Skrill'?!" asked , free Snotlout ining depression.
"What? No! Not cooking Chicken, I mean freeing her." Hicca said in assurance as she made her way over Hookfang and scraped the blade of her knife over Hookfang covering it in gel. "Don't you remember back on Melody Island, we used Monstrous Nightmare gel to heat up the amber and break free." She explained made her way to Barf and Belch as she held the knife towards Belch, who sparked it and set it alight.
Tuffnut just looked at him in horror as Hiccup looked at her sister in surprise and interest as she made her way back to Chicken. "Don't do it, Hicca! You'll singe her little feathers. And that's all she has in the whole wide world. Except me, of course. Feathers and me."
Hicca then shushed him, "Keep distracting me, and I just might. This is a delicate procedure." She told him as Tuffnut immediately quieted down, as she got the flaming knife closed it towards the amber cocoon and Chicken clucked fearfully at it.
"I'm just doing enough to get it soft, I won't go deep enough to get remotely close to Chicken." said Hicca as she placed the blazing knife onto the cocoon, softening it. removed the blade and Chicken was perfectly fine. "See?"
Hicca then looked to Midnight. "Alright, nurse Midnight, if you would?" She said
Midnight slowly placed one of her claws into the cocoon, 'Now just hold still.' She warbles as she quickly slashed it with a single swipe. Chicken was now free, but she fainted in shock.
Tuffnut then shoved Hicca away and picked Chicken up. "Chicken is free! Chicken is free!"
"Wow, sis. That was impressive." Hiccup said in amazement.
"Thanks. I sorta got creative with Hookfang's gel to make it even easier to break the amber." Hicca said as she blew at her flaming dagger as she put out the flames. "You just have to get it started enough to break it." She finished.
"You know, that actually gave me an idea." Hiccup said with a thoughtful smile.
"What's that?" Hicca asked her brother in curiosity.
Just before he could answer, they heard the familiar cries of Garff and they turned to discover Raeda and Heather, with Heather carrying Garff in her arms, had just entered the clubhouse. "Guess who just woke up?" Raeda asked.
The moment she saw him, Chicken ruffled her feathers fearfully. "You!" Tuffnut glared at him as he pulled Chicken as far away as he could from him. "We need to remove Garff from the island, immediately!"
"Tuffnut!" Hicca scolded as she glared at the male blond twin.
"Okay, Tuff, don't you think you're overreacting?" Hiccup asked as he tried to calm his sister down.
"NONSENSE!" Tuffnut yelled, tossing Chicken into the air.
Hiccup quickly grabbed Chicken before she hit the floor and placed her safely on the ground.
"It is getting difficult to handle this guy, you two." Astrid admitted. "You both gotta admit."
"Yeah, even Bing, Bam and Boom weren't this much trouble and at least then we had Thornado to help us." Raeda pointed out.. "So far the only time he stopped crying was when Chicken sang to him."
"Their right, guys, I mean he just went after Chicken. How long before he goes after one of us?" Fishlegs added.
"And what are we gonna do when this little guy gets bigger?" Henry questioned as well.
"He's got a go!" Snotlout declared and made his way over to Garff. "Back to Melody Island with you."
Hicca quickly stopped him. "Snotlout, the last time you tried to drag a small dragon off the island, that was so uncalled for and a bad move!" She scolded as she remembered when Snotlout tried to drag the injured Speed Stinger off the island just because he hates them.
"Also, did you forget how the adult Death Song tried to eat all of us and our dragons?" Hiccup asked, reminding him that even if they went back to Melody Island they would have to deal with the adult Death Song already there.
"Well, I had, until you two just brought those up." Snotlout admitted sheepishly. "Thank you for that."
"Oh, no, no, it is too dangerous to go back." Astrid immediately points out, seeing this as a bad idea, she can't stand Garff's scream but she isn't that desperate.
"I only make the odd trip rarely just to grab some amber and I can't sneak around with Garff crying all the time." Hicca added.
"And we don't even know if an adult dragon will take in a baby that's not its own." Fishlegs pointed out.
"If that Death Song was a female, there may have been a chance but that Deathsong is definitely a male." Henry said, "And as we all know, male dragons will kill babies that aren't their own."
"You guys, he's too young to know right from wrong," Heather said, looking at Garff sympathetically. "He's just following his instincts. I know what it's like to be all alone in the world. We can't just shun him."
"Yeah. He's just a hatchling fresh from his egg. He's new to the world, so we can't just dump him like that." Hicca said in agreement as she gave Garff a sympathetic look.
Hiccup thought for a moment. "Heather and Hicca are right," He said. "We have trained everything from a Night Fury and Skrill to a Night Terror and Screaming Death." He said as he and Hicca patted Toothless and Midnight on their heads to prove their points. "We can certainly train him not to eat us. Right?" He asked the others.
"Yeah, we can try," Fishlegs said.
"We owe it to Garff." Heather nodded.
"Speak for yourselves." Tuffnut muttered while holding Chicken as she clucked.
"And what about that?" Snotlout yelled, gesturing to Garff's crying. "Does anyone else, not named Hiccup and Hicca, have an idea before I take a running leap off the top of the Edge?"
"Nobody says a word." Astrid said, quickly smirking, liking the idea of Snotlout taking a leap off the Edge.
"Funny, Astrid." Snotlout muttered. "By the way, I'm over you, in case you haven't heard. And I'm just being honest with you, because I'm nothing if not honest. Did you hear that, Heather?"
Heather, however, was actually humming and Garff's crying began to quieten. She then began to sing:
"The sky is dark
And the hills are white,
As the Storm King
Speeds from the North tonight."
Garff battery stopped crying now and seem to be falling asleep and Heather kept on singing her lullaby:
"And this is the song
The Storm King sings,
As over the world his cloak he flings."
Everyone was staring at Heather as she sang, because Garff was now sleeping soundly in her arms.
"Sleep, sleep, little one, sleep;
He rested his wings
And gruffly sings.
Sleep, little one, sleep."
"That was—that was just beautiful, Heather," Fishlegs breathlessly as he wiped his tears of joy.
Snotlout began mimicking kisses and imitating Fishlegs. "That was just beautiful, Heather," he said and kept on mimicking kisses.
Raeda came next to him as she smacked him at the back of his head. "Leave him alone." She scolded as Snotlout rubbed his head as he glared at Raeda.
Astrid just groaned at him in disgust and then turned to the others. "Thank Thor something worked. " She said. "And nice job at knocking some sense into Snotlout, Raeda." She said to Raeda with a smirk.
"Anytime." Raeda said as they bumped armbands.
"Well, would you look at that? Garff wasn't the only one it worked on," said Fishlegs pointing at theThorston twins, who were now fast asleep along with Chicken in their dragon.
"It makes perfect sense." Hiccup said quietly so he would not wake up Garff. "The Death Song sings to its prey to draw them in. That might be the primary way it communicates."
"And that must be how Adult Death Songs keep their babies under control." Hicca added.
"Which means, singing might help us train Garff," Heather added.
"Interesting." Hiccup said..
"It's worth a shot." Hicca added.
"Yak dung!" Snotlout coughed a little too loudly and Garff awoke and began crying again.
"Oh, smooth move Jorgenson." Henry said sarcastically.
"Well, you better keep singing then." Snotlout smiled at Heather.
"You mean, 'we'!" Hiccup yelled.
"I do?" Snotlout blinked.
"Oh, yes, you do." Heather said with a smirk.
"Oh, yes, of course, I do," Snotlout frowned, still not understanding what they meant.
"Should've kept your mouth shut." Hicca said with a smirk.
"Shut up, Hicca." Snotlout said in annoyance.

Hiccup took Garff towards the lagoon, he then placed him down onto the ground and began to sing.
"Now listen my young dragon friend
And I will tell a tale,
Of days when the Vikings feared the sound
Of monsters' distant wail."
He was relieved to see that Garff had stopped singing which proved his theory that the Deathsong spoke through songs or rhythmic tune.
"For was a time not long ago
When wars were bravely fought;
Against a foe we feared
Before a lesson we were taught.
That night of fury
One did dare to set aside his dread,
And placed his hand
Upon wing at villain's gentle head.
Now time has passed,
And what was once our cursed enemy
Now carries us to battle
Against those across the sea!"
He then heard Garff spat and looked down to see that his prosthetic leg had been glued upon with amber.
"Ugh!" Hiccup groaned as he knew it would take some time to get the amber off his prosthetic leg.

It was Hicca turned as she was in her hut with Midnight as the Healer rocked Garff in her arms as she hummed a lullaby to him as Garff yawned as Midnight warbled a dragon-like lullaby to Garff as well.
Dragon is tough, sleep, sleep
Dragon is brave, sleep, sleep,
Don't wake up or else you'll find an eel, in your mouth, sleep, sleep
Dragon are the brave when they faces threats across the sea to find some trouts
Hicca sang as Midnight copied her as she sang in gently dragon-like tone as Garff yawned as he went to sleep as Hicca gently place Garff in a comfortable makeshift bed as the baby Death Song curled as he sleep peacefully as Hicca and Midnight walked out of the hut quietly as she gently close the door to let Garff sleep.
Hicca then turned to Midnight with a smile. "Garff is so cute when he's asleep. Don't you agree, girl?" She asked Midnight.
'He sure is adorable while asleep.' Midnight warbled in agreement.
"Good thing we had practice with Starlight, Darkie, Shadow, Nightshade and Blazes." Hicca said as Midnight gave a down expression at the thought of her kids. Hicca saw it as she gave her a comforting touch. "Hey, don't worry. I know they are safe and together. Traveling out in the world really is an exciting adventure, we are doing it as well while facing the hunters after all." She said with an assuring smile.
Midnight sigh as she gave her rider a nuzzle. 'You're right, Hicca. Night Furies don't stay in one place after. Wherever they are, I just hope they are safe and together.' She cooed as Hicca hugged her dragon in comfort.

Later that evening, it was Fishlegs legs turn. He was playing a tune on his panpipes to calm Garff down. However, before Garff fell asleep, he kept on spotting amber at Fishlegs, who kept on dodging it as he played.
He only stopped when Garff was fast asleep on the ground and he gave a sigh of relief. He then turned and saw Meatlug was covered with spots of amber.
Meatlug growls at Fishlegs since she was the one covered in amber. Next time, how about you warn me first.' She growled while Fishlegs gave a sheepish apologetic look to his dragon.
(Linebreak)
A little bit later, it was Henry's turn as he brought out some instruments so he could play to Garff as the baby Death Song kept spitting amber as his dragons' dodge and took cover while Henry dodge each one.
"Man, this dragon is picky about music." Henry commented as he then brought out a banjo. "How about this little guy?" He asks as he then plays in a quick tune as Garff stops shooting his amber, but he then gives Henry a deadpan look while tilting his head as Henry then stops playing when he notices his expression. "Not a big fan of the banjo, huh?" He asked as Garff shook his head, with that response, Henry tossed his banjo away. "Yeah, not many do either." He commented as Garff then shot an amber at his chest as Henry looked on in a deadpan expression as well as his dragons laughed at him. "Should've seen that coming." He said to himself.

Sometime after Henry, it was now Raeda's turn as she was flying with him on Sparkfire, singing the song she sang to the Fireworm hatchlings.
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay your sleepy head
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to say goodnight
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to turn off the lights
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay in your bed
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to be in your pens
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to dream
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to get a goodnight sleep
Garff then fell asleep as he laid on Raeda's lap as the art warrior sighed in relief. "Thank Thor my mom taught me that song, and it only took five tries." Raeda said as she glanced down at Sparkfire with some amber splodges on her horns.
'Not funny.' Sparkfire growled irritably.
"Sorry, girl. I'll get those off of you later. I promise." Raeda promised her dragon as they flew off.

When Garff woke up that night it was Snotlout's turn to take care of him. He was flying around the Edge on top of a blazing Hookfang.
"I killed my first boar
When I was just a boy,
A big ol' battle axe
Was my favorite toy.
Each of my enemies,
They all have been destroyed.
For I am Snotlout, oy, oy, oy!
Snotlout, Snotlout, oy, oy oy!
He's all man and you're all boy.
Yes, I said it, try me if you dare,
I'll duel you to the bone
With my steely glare!"
As he sang Garff looked at Hookfang, as if asking him if this was really a song.
'Trust me kid, this is probably the best you'll get out of Snotlout.' Hookfang snorted as they flew back to the Edge.

The Thorston twins were sleeping soundly in their heart, but were awakened by the cries of a baby dragon. When Tuffnut opened the door he found Snotlout standing there covered in amber with a crying Garff in his hand.
"You guys are up, take him," Snotlout ordered.
'Please, this guy is insufferable.' Hook grumbled.
"No, no, no!" said Tuffnut firmly as he backed away, not wanting to be around Garff.
Chicken then came wandering in and Garff stopped crying to look at her. He then licked his lips and Chicken quickly hit behind Tuffnut's leg.
"He's fine, he just gets a little cranky when the music stops." Snotlout said as he then dropped Garff onto the floor and quickly made his way outside. "Okay? That's all. So ha-ha, you're gonna have so much fun."
He then closed the door behind him, got on Hookfang and flew off laughing.
Garff quickly made his way over to Chicken licking his lips. Scene he had no choice, Tuffnut began to sing:
"No, Garff, no,
You must not hurt Chicken.
For Chicken is a friend
Will see you to the end."
Ruffnut then shoved her brother the way and sang:
"No, Garff, no,
You cannot eat Tuff's chicken.
Eating that bird's heart
Will tear Tuffnut's apart."
Tuffnut then got back onto his feet and sang:
"Why must you eat my pet?
It's the only one I'll get.
And then all I'll do is fret
Because we only just met.
Something else that rhymes with met."
Ruffnut then shoved him out of the way again and sang:
"But, how long, how long?
How long can we keep this up?
Can we keep this up? Keep this up?"
Chicken then jumped on top of Tuffnut head and began crowing.
Garff then tackled them to the ground and they screamed.

Meanwhile the Haddock twins are in Hiccup's hut.
The flaming knife had given Hiccup an idea and he asked his sister to join him as they were busy fiddling with two swords. They had hollowed out the hilts and began to pour Monstrous Nightmare gel into both. The gel coats the blades.
"Now for my personal touch." Hicca said as she then brought out Flightmare algae as she poured some into the Monstrous Nightmare girl as she gave her sword a shake.
"Why are you putting Flightmare algae into the gel?" Hiccup asked in curiosity.
"You'll see." Hicca grinned as she pressed a switch on the hilt in the hopes it would spark the gel but nothing. "Huh, well, that was supposed to work," She commented before she realized, "Oh, of course the Blade wasn't fitted properly."
"Well, I'll make sure mine is too, sis." Hiccup said with a smile.
"Hiccup! Hicca!" A crowd of voices yelled.
When they got outside he found the other Riders and their dragons covered in amber, it became apparently clear that training Garff had not been so successful as he had hoped.
"This is officially out of hand! We cannot go on like this!" Astrid firmly said, hopping off Stormfly.
"Seriously, he's pretty much amber-spitted everyone on the Edge!" Henry added
The other Riders agreed in a chorus of sounds.
"But we can't abandon him," said Heather firmly, who was actually carrying Garff in her arms. "We just can't! I'd never forgive myself!"
"I'm sick of rhyming with 'met'." Tuffnut kept singing.
"We won't abandon him," Hiccup assured. "We'll do what we should have done to begin with."
"We'll take him to the only dragon who can teach how to survive." Hicca finished.
Hiccup and Hicca then pressed the switches on their swords and then they both ignited, which Hiccup's being fiery red, Hicca's is a blue fire thanks to the Flightmare algae she added.
Astrid looked at him as if he was crazy. "Are you both saying what I think you two are saying?"
"Yes, we're going to Melody Island to find that Deathsong," said Hiccup looking at his sword which was blazing like a torch.
"And we'll find a way for him to bond with Garff so that he doesn't have to be alone." Hicca added determination as she looked at her sword as it gave a firefly blue blaze while the others looked at them in shock and awe at their swords and their determination.

The next morning they all gathered at the Dome, Heather was humming gently to Garff to keep them quiet. The other Riders meanwhile were preparing their journey, which was not going to be an easy one, considering they were trying to get a dangerous male dragon to adopt a dangerous baby dragon.
"Hey, geniuses, have you two had a thought of the fact that the Deathsong mind-melts our dragons?" Snotlout asked his cousins.
"Actually, we have." Hiccup said.
"We've planned this when we first met Deathsong." Hicca added.
"Good, good, good, good, good, good," said Snotlout. "So do you have a plan for that, or are we just gonna wing it?"
"Pun intended," Tuffnut announced as Hiccup drop something into his hand. He then chuckled "Get it?"
Hiccup shook his head as he placed something in his sister's hand.
Tuffnut then began flapping his arms like wings. "You said 'wing it'. You know, and dragons have—"
"We get it, Tuff," said Astrid.
"We're gonna handle that, Snotlout, by using these," said Hiccup as he placed the same stuff in Raeda and Fishlegs hands.
"Moss ear plugs! Awesome!" said Fishlegs excitedly.
"This should help block out the Death Song's call." Raeda said confidently.
"Trust me, it does." Hicca said. "I've made enough trips to Melody Island to know for sure."
"We custom-made these for each dragon to keep out Deathsong's call," Hiccup said, handing a pair of earplugs to Astrid.
"Great. As if this guy needed another reason not to listen," Snotlout muttered, gesturing to Hookfang.
'Watch it.' Hookfang snorted at him.
"You didn't happen to make any for us, did you?" Astrid snarked.
Snotlout began laughing sarcastically. "Very funny, Astrid. You should take that comedy routine on the road."
"Maybe I will." Astrid said with a smirk as she mounted Stormfly and then took off.
"Oh. 'Maybe I will'." Snotlout muttered. "Execution because it's completely contextual."
Hookfang growled. 'Contextual?' He questioned, wondering what that means or if Snotlout even knew what it meant.
"Let's just go and bring Garff to his kind before he cries." Hicca pointed out as they others mounted their dragons as they took to the air.

Hours later they, with the dragons wearing the most earplugs, flying towards Melody Island. Heather had insisted on carrying Garff, who was now asleep in her arms.
"Fishlegs, how did you swing that?" Hiccup asked, looking back at the husky Viking.
"Yeah, how did you get Garff to sleep without singing to him?" Hicca asked in curiosity as well.
"Dragon Nip!" Fishlegs answered as he held out a handful of Dragon Nip. "I wasn't entirely sure it would work on this particular species. It only took a couple of tries to get close enough to knock the little guy out." He then looked down apologetically at Meatlug, who was covered in amber and snorting at him. "Sorry, girl."
'It better be worth it.' Meatlug growled.
"Well, at least he's sleeping peacefully." Hicca commented as she looked at Garff.
"Just make sure he's awake when we get there." Hiccup saim. "We need him alert and focused."
As they were flying Astrid was cheering up their spirits by making jokes about Snotlout, much to the amusement of everyone and much to Snotlout dismay.
"How do you get a one-armed Jorgenson out of the tree?" Astrid asked. "You waved them!"
They all laughed, except for Snotlout.
"Good one, Astrid!" Raeda laughed.
"Yeah! Whoo!" Heather cheered, loving the joke.
"Wave to him, that's not even funny." Snotlout muttered under his breath. "Oh, I just got it, it is funny."
"How do you sink a Jorgenson battleship?" Astrid asked. "You put it in the water."
Again they all laughed, apart from Snotlout.
"Keep them rolling!" Henry yelled.
"Do another one!" Fishlegs insisted. "Come on, more, one more."
"Yeah, more!" Heather yelled.
Snotlout mimics their laughter bitterly. "That's right, laugh, all of you." He said, laughing sarcastically. "But don't come running to me when you're out of Nightmare gel."
"Actually, we have an alternative for that." Hicca mutters to her brother as the Haddock twins give a chuckle.
"All right, gang, the Death Song strike is very precise." Hiccup said as Melody Island came into view. "Streamlined, So we need to spread out. That way, it can only go after one of us at a time."
"And the less of it taken down, the better our chances." Hicca said they all flew towards Melody Island as they landed.
(Linebreak)
They then flew down around Melody Island and began searching for the Deathsong.
It takes them long to find its cave and while Hiccup and Hicca went to investigate as they began telling one of her Jorgenson jokes.
"Hey, how do you confuse a Jorgenson?" Astrid whispered. "Put him in a round arena and tell him to go to the corner."
They all laughed and even Hookfang did a dragon's equivalent of a chuckle. 'Hehe, Good one.'
"You don't even understand jokes." Snotlout glared at his dragon.
Hookfang simply huffed. 'Buzzkill.'
The Haddock Twins then soon emerged from the cave.
"It's not home," Hiccup said. "That's good news for Garff."
"And bad news for us," said Snotlout.
Hiccup then mounted Toothless. "All right, let's find this guy."
"Actually I think I may have an idea where he is." Hicca said as she mounted on Midnight and they all took off..
(Linebreak)
"His hunting grounds." Hicca said as they flew to the place where the Death Song trapped it's prey. They hear the Deathsong's harmonic growls echoing through the canyon, "He's close." she looking, around.
Fortunately, this time their dragons weren't drawn to it as they were last time.
"The earplugs are working, guys." said Fishlegs.
"Great. Now let's get in closer." Hiccup said. "Everyone on high alert."
"We don't want that Death Song catching us by surprise again." Hicca added.
"No kidding," Snotlout muttered.
They then flew down towards the ground and into the valley they were trapped in last time. Inside they found dragon bones covered in amber. Then Heather noticed Garff sterling.
"Oh, no. guys." Heather warned that Garff could wake up soon.
"Yeah, we got it," Hiccup nodded, realizing they did not have much time. If the adult Death Song heard Garff crying that would just peak his curiosity.
He signaled for the other riders to stop and Heather began humming trying to keep Garff quiet and Fishlegs tried to help by making shushing sounds. Then suddenly Heather was struck by a shot of amber.
"Fishlegs!" Heather yelled.
"Heather!" Fishlegs yelled, before he too was struck by amber and landed opposite Heather as he gave a whimper.
The two of them were now trapped in amber cocoons on top of their dragons, who were now unable to move or fly. They looked up and saw the Deathsong flying towards them with a harmonic roar.
"Well good news, we found the adult Death Song." Raeda said sarcastically.
"More like he found us!" Henry cried out.
Hiccup turned to the other Riders. "Remember, if we don't bunch up it can't—" However, before he finished, the Deathsong fired shots of amber at them. "Heads up!"
"Take cover!" Hicca yelled.
Hiccup and Hicca were able to dodge the shots, but unfortunately the others weren't so lucky. With the dragons now trapped within the amber and then stuck on their saddles they began crashing towards the ground.
"Aah! I forgot how much I hate this guy!" Snotlout yelled as he and Hookfang crashed to the ground.
"Looks like the Death Song learned a new trick the last time we saw it." Hicca commented in surprise.
The Deathsong then landed in front of them and roared at them. The Riders tried their best to free themselves, but the amber was too thick and they were left at the mercy of the Deathsong again.
However, before it struck, Garff had awoken and was flying down towards it. He then began to cry at the top of his voice and it seemed to have given the Deathsong pause. 'A hatchling?' he said in confusion.
"Never thought I'd be happy to hear that," Snotlout said, actually relieved by Garff's screeching.
'Don't hurt them! They friends.' Garff squealed as the adult Deathsong lowered his head to him. The adult Death Song then shot a bit of amber in front of Garff then seconds later Garff mimicked him.
"Well, at least they're not shooting it at us." Hiccup said.
"At least they are communicating." Hicca added as she and her brother flew in closer as they watched in the air.
'Dragons, hear and come to me.' the Deathsong roared in a melodic way at Garff. When Garff did nothing, he frowned, 'I said, Dragons of the sea, hear and come to me.' he roared in the same way again.
Getting the idea, Garff began screeching melodically as well 'Dragons beard and bug to sea.' He screeched but the words he used caught the Death Song by surprise.
The Riders watched as the Deathsong lowered its head at Garff, 'I don't think you heard that right kid, it's Dragons of the sea, hear and come to me.' and roared melodically again.
'Dragons, eat eells and sleep with Snot.' Garff screeched melodically again but the adult Death Song shook his head in disbelief.
Hiccup and Hicca then landed on the ground and dismounted Toothless and Midnight. "Hey, we think they're bonding," Hiccup said.
"Looks like it." Hicca said confidently.
'I do good?' Garff asked innocently, and the adult Deathsong answered by slapping him with his tail, sending him flying into a rock. 'Owie!'
"Garff!" Heather yelled in worry.
"This can't be good," Raeda said.
"Didn't see that one coming." Henry commented.
"We're dead," said Snotlout.
"Hiccup! Hicca!" Fishlegs yelled.
Hiccup and Hicca quickly drew their sword, but before they could do anything both them along with Midnight and Toothless were shot by the Deathsong's amber. The four of them were now stuck in place unable to move and their swords were on the ground next to them but can't even bend down to reach them.
"I knew this was going to be bad." Snotlout moaned. "Why does no one listen to me?"
"Because you're a Jorgeson?" Henry asked with a raised brow.
Garff then regained consciousness and looked at the adult Deathsong, 'W-Why did you do that?' He asked.
'I don't understand, you're supposed to say Dragons of the sea, hear and come to me!' The Adult Death Song roared melodically, not understanding why Garff kept messing up.
Fishlegs began to whimper and humming and Garff began to mimic the tune, 'Dragons shrubs leave dance fire tongue.' He sang again.
The Adult Deathsong heard this and realized, 'So it was them who were teaching you how to sing incorrectly.' he growled.
Snotlout glared over at Fishlegs. "Fishface! What are you doing?" He said through gritted teeth.
"I'm sorry, I hum when I'm nervous," Fishlegs whimpered defensively.
"Hum later!" Snotlout snapped. "I heard they love humming in Valhal—"
"Hey, that's my favorite lullaby, and I was the one who taught it to Garff." Fishlegs said defensively.
"Well, that might be the problem," Hiccup said, realizing the problem they were facing. "He's singing our songs, the ones we sang to him, and the adult Deathsong doesn't like them."
"That would explain why the adult Death Song hurt Garff, he was singing the wrong song that he tried to teach him." Hicca added, now seeing that the adult Death Song tried to teach Garff his song. "I guess when a baby Death Song is hatched, its parents teach them how to sing their proper song."
"You know, everyone's a critic." Snotlout complained.
"You did your best and so did we Snotlout! At least Garff is trying! It's not his fault this dragon's so picky about music!" Raeda scolded.
The Deathsong looked at the cowering Garff angrily. 'These humans have taught you horrible songs from each of them and now you can't even sing our own right!' He roared in anger. 'Now get out of here while I get rid of these bad influences! I'll teach you how to sing properly later!' he orders.
Garff ran off and hid behind a rock as he watched in fright.
The Deathsong then turned to face them with an angry look on his face. 'You humans have poisoned that boy. If one of you can sing 'Dragons of the sea, hear and come to me' then maybe I won't eat you.' He growled at them.
"So, what do we do?" Astrid asked.
"Uh, keep singing," Hiccup suggested. "Maybe we can find a song he does like."
"If we sing him the right song, maybe he'll let us go." Hicca told them.
"I'm sorry, but I need some time to prepare," said Tuffnut. "This golden throat is a very delicate instrument."
Then the Deathsong grabbed him, pulled him off Belch and lifted him up into the air. 'Sing the right song or your first to be dinner!' He growled at Snotlout.
Tuffnut decided that he didn't need to prepare and began to sing:
"Oh, Deathsong, oh, Deathsong;
You're big and mean and you kill a lot
And you spit out goo
That looks like snot!"
The Deathsong gave narrowed eyes as it didn't like the song, because he began shaking Tuffnut around frantically. 'Wrong! Next!'
"Help!" Tuffnut yelled.
Snotlout looked at the Deathsong fearfully and began to sing:
"Ooh, it's a scary, scary, bad dragon
He's gonna kill us all
He's gonna kill us
I hope it doesn't
I hope he leaves soon."
"Hey, that doesn't rhyme!" Ruffnut yelled.
"Oh, like it knows!" Snotlout snapped.
However, the Death Song stopped shaking Tuffnut and glared down at Snotlout and began roaring melodically. 'I actually do know! Make that rhyme!' He growled as dropped Tuffnut.
"Okay, sorry," said Snotlout apologetically.
"The hardness of your goo
Gives me déjà vu."
"Yep, that's it. Much better." Ruffnut said with a smile.
'No, no, no. That's not it either.' The Death Song growled in frustration.
Astrid then began to sing as he turned to her:
"The beauty of your wings
Makers us all want to sing.
As they sang, Garff came out of hiding and began to move his head to the rhythm. Hiccup, Hicca, Raeda, Henry and Heather then joined in.
"Want to sing!
Want to sing!
Want to sing!"
Want to sing!
Want to sing!
Want to sing!
The Death Song seemed to be liking the song they were singing as it was moving its head to the rhythm. 'Yes, yes, that's more like it.' He growled in satisfaction as Garff started to understand now.
But just as the Death Song was getting into it, Ruffnut then began to sing herself:
"All of us want to seeing your death song,
We all want to be like you and growl!"
The Death Song charged straight towards Ruffnut. 'And you ruined it! You're dead!' He roared as Ruffnut screamed.
Then out of nowhere Garff flew in and began screeching melodically 'Dragons in the sky and sea, come and heed me! Dragons in the sky and sea, come and heed me!' as he flew up into the air.
Apparently this time the Deathsong smiled at Garff singing the right song. 'A little different, but it's perfect! You finally got it!' He purred happily, liking the tune and flew up after him and began mimicking the rhythm. 'Dragons in the sky and sea, come and heed me!' He sang.
Garff then looked down at Heather, who was smiling up at him. 'Are you I can go with him?' He chirped unsurely.
"Go on, Garff, it's okay." Heather assured him with a smile.
Garff then turned to the Adult Death Song, 'Is there more you teach me?' He asked as he screeched at his new father.
'You better believe it, son.' Garff's father confirmed, 'Let's go practice.' The said as the two Death Songs flew away for Garff's adoptive father to teach him how to be a true Death Song.
The Dragon Riders watched relieved as the two Deathsong flew away.
"I don't believe it." Hiccup said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Garff saved us."
"Yep, we saved him, and he saved us." Heather said with a smile.
"Garff is a very surprising dragon." Hicca added with a smile.
Tuffnut then grasped. "I just had a thought. Now that they're both on the same team, what's stopping them from both eating us?" He asked.
Toothless and Midnight then used their tails to hand Hiccup and Hicca their swords, which ignited. They then used the blades to free themselves and their Night Furies from the amber.
"Hiccup, Hicca, that's brilliant!" said Fishlegs in awe. "If you find the weak spot in the cocoon, the rest will crack and fall apart."
"You two never cease to amaze us." Raeda said with an awed smile.
"Thanks. Got the idea from free Chicken from Garff's amber." Hicca said with a proud smile as she held up her new blue fire sword.
"Okay, no Vikings have ever made swords like that. That's amazing." Henry said in surprise.
Hiccup just smiled. "Now, let's get out of here before they get their appetite back."
(Linebreak)
Once the Haddock twins freed them, they mounted their dragons and flew away from Melody Island. In the sky, the Haddock Twins were looking at their new swords, smiling.
"You know, if they were, like twice the size, they would make really cool swords," Astrid said after seeing their fire swords.
"Exactly." Hiccup nodded and began studying it. "We're gonna call them 'Infernos'. I mean look at them."
"Like kinda like it." Hicca said in agreement. "Really fits for the name of our new weapons." She added.
"Now you have two signature weapons, Hicca." Raeda called out with a smile. "But I have a question, how is your blue and Hiccup's fiery red? You don't just make blue flames." She pointed out how Hicca's Inferno flames are blue while Hiccup's are natural flames.
"Oh, that's easy to answer." Hicca said as she explained. "When me and Hiccup were making these swords, I decided to make mine with a little something so that me and Hiccup could tell them apart and more my color. So I add some Flightmare algae into the Monstrous Nightmare gel mix into it so that it can give off a fiery blue color. Which works, obviously." She said with a smirk as she twirled her new Blue Inferno around.
"Wow, that's pretty impressive. You two are amazing!" Henry called out.
Hicca gave a slight chuckle. "Heheh, thanks, Henry. It wasn't easy but we managed to get them done." She said with a small smile.
"Nah." Tuffnut said in a none-excited tone. "The blue flames are amazing, Hicca. But both you and Hiccup's Inferno don't have the right je ne sais quoi." He pointed out.
The Haddock twins are surprised by Tuffnut's comment. "Je ne sais quoi? How did you…" Hicca asked in surprise how Tuffnut would know that as she shrugged it off. "Nevermind. We are calling them Infernos and sticking to it and that's final." She firmly said.
"Suit yourself." Tuffnut relented.
"Of course, we have to make some adjustments." Hiccup called out as he then listed off. "Lengthen the shaft,"
"Add another canister or more Monstrous Nightmare gel," Hicca said next as the other Riders just looked at the Haddock twins in amusement.
"And make the gas canister airtight. Oh, we're getting to work on this thing right away." Hiccup said while feeling excited about the adjustments they need to do on their Infernos.
"Yeah we are! Let's get back to the Edge right away!" Hicca called out excitedly as she and her brother flew ahead of the others to get back to the Edge quickly to get started on the upgrades to their Infernos
Astrid just shook her head as they flew off ahead of them. "And that's the last we'll see of the Haddock twins this week." She said in amusement.
"Whenever those two get some ideas that pop up in their heads, they are determined to make them happen." Raeda added as she chuckled, knowing the Haddock twins would react if they had incredible ideas.
They all laughed as they flew back towards the Edge. As they flew, Snotlout began to carry on his song.
"Ooh, he's a scary bad dragon;
He didn't kill us,
I'm glad he didn't
Now we can go home."
