-Imperious' Throne Room, A Few Hours Later-

Vulpine had no sooner left on his mission, then Stalker had been summoned to his masters throne room.

"I assume from Vulpine's lack of presence that the plan is underway?" Stalker asked his master in a tone that indicated he was almost certain of the answer he was about to receive.

"You assume correct, my apprentice." Imperious smoothly answered the alien samurai. "Vulpine currently is secretly overseeing the battle between Vixen, her Secret Warrior allies, and their previously mentioned arch enemies. Currently they are winning the battle... but when their victory is assured, that's when I personally turn the tide–"

"With all due respect my lord, if you personally turn the tide of the battle, wont that seem a bit suspicious?" Stalker asked quickly.

"Again your calculating mind serves you well, Stalker." Imperious answered smoothly as he paused to take a breath before continuing. "But I will not be turning the tide of the battle towards Exile and Sheath, for I have a different venue in mind. For remember we have to make Vulpine look like a hero, as cliché as it may sound." Imperious bluntly admitted, which earned a look from Stalker, and while he always obeyed his master, it was clear he wasn't sure about this plan in particular.

"Again with no disrespect, I'm sure they've seen that cliché countless times. I of course don't doubt your wisdom my lord, but how can we pull this off, and how can Vulpine hope to build the pillars of trust so quickly?" Stalker asked quickly.

"Again you speak wisely, Stalker." Imperious said smoothly as he took a deep breath before continuing. "I do not intend for him to build the pillars of trust so quickly, for are playing the long game." Imperious answered his apprentices question. And while that answer satisfied some of Stalkers questions, it also raised a few more.

"Playing the long game is a very wise decision. But a long con also has the risk of us being discovered the longer that Vulpine is undercover–" Stalker was silenced by Imperious raising a clawed hand to silence his apprentice.

"Just like I have faith in you as my apprentice. I have faith in Vulpine." Imperious answered firmly. "Rest assured my apprentice, Vulpine will complete his task, just as he did over 15 years ago." Imperious said as he now stood from his throne and quickly exited the throne room to head into his castles war room, leaving his apprentice in the dimly torch lit room to ponder his own thoughts.

'Vulpine did complete his task, but he completed it through treachery, and with our help. Without our legions, he never would have won that war against his own world. I have faith in my lords plan, but it's Vulpine I don't trust. He might be on our side... but if the truth where to be revealed, he could deal a crippling blow to the empire... no, do not think of such treacherous thoughts. I must have faith in my masters plan.' Stalker thought as he quickly left the throne room to head to his own quarters.

Upon waving his hand, Imperious created an apparition that showed Vulpine watching the Secret Warriors battling Exile and Sheath, but he was under strict orders to not engage until Imperious' signal had been given, and it was almost time for that. But in the mean time Imperious couldn't help but ponder some thoughts that had popped into his cunning mind, courtesy of his apprentice.

'Stalker did speak the truth. For playing a long con does indeed have certain, disadvantages.' Imperious pondered as he rubbed as his scaly chin. 'But we cannot rush this operation. If we are to get Vixen on our side, we must first get her trust, and that's going to take a large amount of time...' Imperious thought to himself as he gathered his inward strength and prepared to look into the future in order to see how this endeavor ended. 'I might not be able to see my future, but perhaps I can see how Vulpine's quest unfolds, and more importantly, how it will end.' Imperious thought as he know felt his inner magic needed to look into the future now up to full strength as he closed his eyes, and let the waves of magic roll over him...

-Continuum Home World, Madam Elise's Office-

"You had another vison?" Crusader asked Elise as soon as he was seated within his chair inside of her office.

"I did. Be it a different vision this time, but still a vision of the future all the same." Elise answered simply. "Also granted this vision is not as heavy or as dark as the last one, but it's still something that we'll have to take into heavy consideration." Elise continued as she took her seat behind her desk. "Also... I know your going to hate this Crusader... but... Vixen is directly involved in this one even more so than the last one...
