AN: In the previous chapter I forgot to give credit to Story's Shadow for writing Vulpine's introduction to the Secret Warriors, so I wanted to do that at the start of this chapter, thank you my good friend.

-Unknown Location-

The lightning flashed again, be it more fiercely this time, followed by the sound of booming thunder. 'What's going on?' the wolf thought to himself as he again found himself eyeing the clouds that where only visible when the lightning flashed around him. Once again the lightning crackled followed by the sound of thunder, and in the dark clouds was a figure once again. 'Another figure?' the wolf asked himself as he noticed another shadowy figure standing behind the clouds seemingly. However this figure looked... different than the being who had appeared in the clouds during the last lightning storm. This figure was around the same height, but just a bit shorter, slightly thinner, and had slightly more pointed ears and a smaller frame. But once again the being reached out their right hand to the wolf, who once again tried to reach out his hand to take it, but once again the being faded away once the hand was within grabbing distance, leaving him still trapped in the void.

-Meanwhile: Imperious' Throne Room-

"The plan is now in motion." Imperious informed Stalker as soon as the alien samurai had dropped to one knee in the presence of his master. "Using my magic, I have foreseen it will take months, if not possibly longer for Vulpine to fully gain Vixen's trust." Imperious let that hang in order to both let his apprentice process the information he had just received, and for Imperious himself to gauge his apprentices reaction. When Stalker choose not to reply, Imperious decided to continue. "My magic also revealed that both Vulpine's fate and destiny are hanging delicately in the balance, and that for better or for worse, old hatreds... will be revived..." Imperious said in a rare grim tone, and now Stalker decided to speak when it was clear that his emperor had given him the floor.

"Master, I must admit: I have serious doubts about Vulpine's ability to indoctrinate Vixen to our cause." Stalker began in his own serious yet cautious tone as to not offend his master. "Your plan to kill Wraith was never in doubt due to his inability to see that through his actions he was signing his own death warrant. And while that plan as well took quite a long time to accomplish, Vulpine spending time around the enemy might have unforeseen consequences–"

"You speak wisely Stalker, as usual." Imperious began as he rubbed his chin in silent contemplation before speaking again. "However I do not doubt Vulpine's ability to complete his mission. He completed it 15 years ago, and yes I'm aware... how he completed it..." Imperious said as he saw Stalker was about to interrupt and interject with that point. "Remember Stalker, the future is always in motion, and unlike the Continuum's who believe everything is set in stone, I believe the future can be changed by every action, or inaction. Tell me Stalker, who do you trust more?" Imperious quizzed his apprentice. Stalker swiftly and without saying a word bowed his head, silently reaffirming his allegiance to the Dragon Emperor. "Rise my apprentice." Imperious said softly after a few moments of silence, to which Stalker quickly rose to his feet.

"Since Vulpine has been introduced to Vixen, and per your own proclamation it will take months if not longer to for her to be swayed to our side, what is our next move?" Stalker asked his lord.

"A few things, both simple, and hard, must be prepared." Imperious said wisely as he waved his hand and showed and apparition of a planet, one that Stalker had heard of, but had never been to, or seen in person.

"The Continuum home world?" Stalker asked quickly.

"Yes. When Vulpine successfully turns Vixen to our side, her knowledge of the Continuum home world, more specifically, her fathers battle plans, will aid in our second campaign of the Continuum home world.

"But without the Infinity Stones, wouldn't The Blade Of Heaven tear though or forces like a warm knife through butter?" Stalker asked quickly in a concerned tone.

"While it's true I wouldn't be able to use the infinite six during the campaign since the stones only work in their home universe, rendering mine useless. With Vixen on our side, she would wield the blade. The blade combined with my magic could turn the tide of any battle. But while me must start making preparations for that campaign, let us not plan to far ahead and risk the future being changed. That war is in the future, so lets not worry about it today, but today there are plans we can still set in motion." Imperious said smoothly as he waved his hand again and the apparition of the Continuum home world vanished and was instead replaced by an image of what as seemingly going on right now.

"Vulpine has already introduced himself." Stalker noted as he looked at the apparition showing Vulpine standing in the Secret Warriors recreation room. "That was just the beginning of your plan, now the fun begins." Stalker said in a rare amused tone as he watched Vulpine talking with the Secret Warriors, and even though he couldn't hear what was being said through the apparition, he could tell by looking at them that most where impressed by his words, Vixen included who still had a huge smile on her face, but two of them had looks of deep suspicion on their faces, and two others who's entire faces just happened to be covered by an iron face plate and a mask, had serious doubts about what had transpired before them.

To Be Continued...
