10. There's a kind of rush

Amelia needed only fifteen minutes to clean her office. She immediately went to her home by floo, where an anxious Sirius Black was shocked to see her coming instead of him being called to the Minister.

Soon after the two were calling Harry on the mirror, who was in the middle of a History of Magic class. He collected some of the girls in his way out, especially Susan, as her Auntie had requested her presence. He asked Dobby and the elf requested the ones in The Room to open a direct passage from there to the current floor they were in, sparing them a long climb.

With most of their group reunited, with more girls being called for the emergency call, Amelia gave them, and Sirius, a step-by-step of the morning events. Between their anger against Dumbledore's behaviour, their worries about Harry's and Susan's exposition to the headmaster and the still valid kiss-on-sight order on Sirius, Harry took his decision and stood up to make the necessary changes. The headmaster will pay for his interference!

But he didn't leave the room. He just took three steps before he stopped, turned and went back to his seat.

"Sorry. Still working on my temper and my tendency to do everything myself."

"Good. You're maturing really fast" said Amelia, and he received many other compliments from the others.

"What had you think to do, Harry?" asked Sirius.

"I thought to make our dear old Dumbledore have some difficult to come back to Hogwarts. Also, any other adult, especially any auror or government official sent here, would also have their access denied. Only I can grant or revoke access. But this would cause troubles for sure. I can't force teachers to do their job, or to not contact Dumbledore out of here or to do as he told them to do once they return. Also, other problems would arise if the girls are called by her parents to go home and they don't obey, or if the minister decides to close the school and some students remains."

"You own the castle and the school. You can bar entry to Dumbledore and everyone else, it is your right. But you can't keep the girls with you against their parents' will."

"My parents would allow me to stay if I can explain the situation to them."

"Mine too!"

"And mine!"

"Wait! Let's start there then! Write to them explaining everything you think they need to know and ask for their permission. Any of you think your parents could deny permission?"

There were some cases, from daughters of Death Eaters, like the Carrow twins, to parents with job at the ministry or too aligned with Dumbledore, like Ginny Weasley, to parents who simply wouldn't like their daughters involved in any conflicts, like the Greengrass sisters. Amelia wrote down the cases were her intervention could help and promised to contact them as soon as possible, but they were in doubt what to do with many others without making use of drastic measures.

They discussed at length the immediate problem of the headmaster. Blocking his entrance would probably lead to interference of the Ministry and possible closure of the school, nothing they want to deal yet, especially before they have a chance to measure the reaction of the parents to their requests to stay at Hogwarts no matter what. All the girls stated they would rebel against their parents and stay again their will if necessary, but most didn't want to go that far while they had alternatives.

In short, they had reached the following decisions: Dumbledore would not have any privilege above the other teachers, which meant no portkeys or apparating rights, no special help from elves, ghosts or paintings and definitively no control of the wards; non-staff adults would only have access if they were parents or guardians of students in the school, if they were aurors or other ministry officials they would be restricted to their role as parents, forbidden to exercise their official rules inside the school; Snape will not be allowed to return.

"Auntie, would you be safe after everything?" was the point Susan raised next.

"Hm… I'm really don't know."

"Maybe you two could live here in the castle" offered Harry. "The Chamber of Secrets is quite safe, and has an enter through the Forbidden Forest. You would not be restricted in your movements, nor will you need to come in through the main gates..."

Sirius hated his old family's house and immediately accepted the offer. Amelia was a little reticent at first but was easily convinced by the advantages. The elves from Hogwarts would create a space to be a replica of her home, including transferring everything from her house to the Chamber, to avoid any loss if her home was attacked and the wards broken. If they were broken… She would put them in war mode, totally closing the property and protecting it with lethal force.

They also discussed the problem of the acromantulas. Both adults were against the idea of the kids approaching the monsters until Susan made a demonstration melting a block of iron with an incredible ten metres long hot flame. The adults calmed down after the little show, but asked for more time and more planning to keep them all as safe as possible. They closed the meeting to carry on with the contact of their parents, as they need to put all their safeties in place before their enemies could react.

.o0o.

The afternoon brought some good news to improve the mood. The first-years had their first flying class, and all the girls did amazing well, even if they were horrified by the bad conditions of the school's brooms.

During dinner they saw a patronus reaching for professor McGonagall, who soon left the Great Hall in direction of the headmaster's office. It seemed that Dumbledore had finally discovered no longer being welcomed at Hogwarts. It just was the end of the second week of classes, but it seemed like they have had enough events to fill a whole year. The unasked question in their minds was: 'What would come next?'

.o0o.

"Harry, why you asked The Room for that if you know it won't work here?"

"Can The Room make electronics works here?"

While walking to the beautiful 2,000W CD sound system created by The Room Harry answered the girls: "We can make electronic devices work anywhere at Hogwarts now. They didn't work before because our dear headmaster put a ward specific to fry them. By what I could understand of what the castle tried to communicate to me, it appears that Dumbledore made it to convince everyone that magic and electronics are incompatible. This way pureblood magical society would stay unaware of muggle developments in the area while muggleborns would leave behind their muggle legacy to integrate in the magical society. I think he was expecting that muggle society would soon develops a kind of hand gun capable of shooting lightnings or something like that, giving them a way to defeat magicals when needed."

"All part of his plan to destroy the purebloods?"

Harry took one of the CDs he had asked for and put it to play. "Yes, it seems so." The first accords of 'Beyond Binary' by Patrick Moraz shocked most of them. It was music like they never heard before: totally digital, clean and pure as no analogue music could be, with a very different and futuristic rhythm.

"It worked, you know. Every magical human in Britain comes to Hogwarts, and even the purebloods, who never saw an electronic appliance, believe they don't work around magic because they learned it here."

"Good thing then that muggles kept to bullets and knives instead of pocket lightning or laser guns. If they had succeeded faster in this area we wouldn't have had a chance to stop Dumbledore's plan."

"Maybe this delay was the reason he focused so much on Harry and Voldemort."

"But muggles have atomic bombs! What can a wizard does against one of them?"

"Nothing, but thousands, or maybe millions of muggles around the wizard would be killed too. Atomic bombs are weapons of mass destruction. What Dumbledore was in need for is a portable gun to kill selected people."

"Shields can really stop bullets?"

"Most of them, yes. Although some special calibres are too powerful for most magical shields."

"And don't forget you need to know when and from where a bullet will come to put your shield up against it."

"So, muggles can kill us, if they are able to surprise us, right?"

"Sure, and you don't need a firearm to do it. Poisons, blades and other means can also work."

"But these require close proximity, a firearm doesn't. What I'm not understand is why would be electronic weapons necessary, if the firearms were already enough?"

"Harry, do you know when the headmaster put this ward up?"

"It was soon after his victory over Grindelwald, at the time he became headmaster. Around 1947 or 1948."

"Well, I think I have an idea of what he thought. World War II ended in 1945, and two important inventions during it were the sonar and the radar. Maybe what he was expecting the muggles to discover wasn't a way to kill wizards but to detect them!"

"The wards! Most magical homes are protected by anti-muggle, notice-me-not and other wards to keep muggles from finding or seeing them. That makes it really hard to a muggle kills a magical, as they wouldn't be able to aim their weapons at them!"

"Good idea! I think… well, I think it is time for Harry to produce his little miracle on Lilith. Hi, girls! All ready?"

Soon the other girls said their goodbyes and well-wishes and left the room, leaving there just the ones who would participate in the attempt to cancel the curse on Lilith: herself, Harry, Daphne, Tracey and the Carrow twins.

When Harry finished reconfiguring The Room, he found the five girls were already only in their knickers. Old Harry would be protesting that only Lilith needed to undress, New Harry just hide his blush and protests, shrugged and, smiling, undressed to his boxers.

This time, while Harry and Lilith focused in breaking the points of contact between the magic of the curse and the magic of the cursed, the other four girls extended their magic to wrap Lilith's magic so the curse couldn't re-establish contact with its victim. It was a slow and tiring process, but it was concluded without any surprises. As they were already in a soft and warm place, they just collapsed and slept there, too exhausted to move back to their dorms.

Harry woke up early in the morning spooning Tracey and with Lilith cuddled at his back. Their magics were interweaving, but instead of letting himself submerge in that inebriating feeling, he focused in a sense that something was wrong. He sensed around looking for the source of that sensation. Firstly his focus felt on the Carrows, already up and talking quietly at a corner, but then he found what he was looking for.

Moving there, he whispered to the girl: "Daphne, are you okay?"

"Cramps" came the answer in a moan.

Harry activated his magical sight and looked at her. It was easy to see what was wrong. At the position of her womb, her magic was strangely curved, almost in a knot. He expanded his own magic and forced it in a way to prevent hers to curled so much. Her magic bumped against his one, two times, at the third time it was weaker, after that her magic was flowing straight, no more pressuring his. The smile Daphne gave him in thanks make his heart beat faster and harder. She was so beautiful! And almost nude, and he was nearly on top of her, and then she put her hand behind his neck and forced him down to an amazing kiss! What a way to start a day!

"Hey, there are some of this for us, too?" asked Tracey mischievously. "I thought I'd get some action this morning and then you abandoned me here for her? Harry, I'm so disappointed!"

"Tracey, no more cramps! Harry just healed me! He is Merlin's best gift to us women!"

"Really? Harry, I love you! Would you marry me?"

"It is really simple, I can teach you all how to..."

"NO!"

"Harry, listen carefully. We don't want you to teach this to any of us. What we want is you around to heal us when we need you. Can you understand it? Really understand it completely?"

Harry looked at Lilith, trying to understand what she was really asking of him. He thought he understood, so he tried to confirm it asking: "Lilith, would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"I'd love to!"

"Tracey, would like to..."

"Yes! Now kiss me, boyfriend!"

She eagerly showed him how much she wanted him, but they were interrupted by Daphne throat clearing with increase strength until they separated themselves.

After he won another girlfriend the Carrow twins came to him with a different purpose.

.o0o.

"They what?"

"They deserted their families then were accepted by Harry as his concubines for houses MacLeod and Pembroke."

"But… many of us didn't even had a chance to get closer to him!"

"This is so unfair!"

"Why did you accept it?"

"Why did him accept it?"

"What about the rest of us?"

"Okay, everybody, seat down and listen!"

"Hestia and Flora are wonderful girls, as we all know, but they were put in a terrible condition by Fate. Their parents… they were… they still are Death Eaters… and siblings! That means most people despise them as daughters of criminals, looking at them as if they were as bad as their parents, while everybody also despise them considering them aberrations, born to an incestuous couple."

"As you know, Harry took possession of the castle. This means that our Harry is in route of collision against the headmaster and, probably, also the Ministry. Things will get ugly."

"The Carrow girls were afraid of being targets to both sides of the students, light and dark, and of what their parents could do, like calling them back home. They needed some protection, and the first step they took was to disown their family, to cut any power their parents have over them."

"But this isn't enough. Without their family, and being minors, they would soon be put over protection of some other family, or the Ministry. That wouldn't be good either."

"That's why they became Harry's concubines. It was something they wished, and would protect them putting them over Harry's direct protection."

"Their legal status changes, but they will not be doing more for now than get to know each other. It's just like they were boyfriend and girlfriends, like some of ours are officially, and as all of us can consider to be unofficially."

"Be aware, there are other similar cases in study, also about daughters of Death Eaters which don't want to never come back to their parents. Necessity arising, they will probably do the same."

"We also have some really good news for you: Lilith Moon is now totally free from the curse on her family, Astoria will soon be freed too, and Harry has now accepted the idea to see all of us as girlfriends, if we want it and for as long as we accept the situation!"

.o0o.

Harry spent some time with his first and most faithful girl, Hedwig, while thinking about the current situation. It was amazing how he had come from a nearly lonesome guy with just two friends to be the centre of a group of dozen of people doing incredible progress in new ways to do magic in just a couple of months. How he had stopped being a naive and shy boy to transform into a leader of a group of people with chances to change the entire world. And how fast these changes were creating divisions and conflicts that soon will reach colossal proportions when the Ministry and Dumbledore finally discover they just lost control of Hogwarts completely.

He just wanted to be better and stronger, knowing dangerous situations would still come his way soon, as had being the norm in the magical world since he discovery it. But dissension and division were his new normal since he had started to change. His former friends didn't accept the New Harry and they part ways. Suddenly he was the only boy in a large group of girls. Curious how they were so united, as if house rivalries didn't affect them, and with sisters in different years creating bridges between those of different ages. He never saw anything close to this unity between boys, and now he was isolated from those of his gender. He was happy having so many girls interested in him, but sometimes he missed the presence of another boys to talk to.

And now they were walking into bigger divisions. Soon they could have girls against their parents, Ministry against common citizens, good people against the bad ones. Voldemort didn't show his face since the end of his first year and still they were already approaching a sort of state of war. He didn't want to cause all these conflicts, but he knew he couldn't back off either. It would mean the loss of his freedom, the disappointment of all the girls and the victory of the genocide plan of Dumbledore. He was too young to be dealing with such problems, but there wasn't another choice. He was the one which came with a new form of magic, and he was the one who owns the castle. So, he was the one who would open the gates for a new era. He finally accepted it, and he was better this way.

He saw Astoria and Romilda coming his way. They had each a hand in shell over an ear, and Astoria sometimes spoke to her bracelet. They only noticed him when they were really close, so attentive were they in the conversation they were having through their jewellery.

"Oh, we found him! Call you back in a few!"

Hedwig, knowing that her human was now in good hands, flew back to the owlery, while Romilda raised her arms to him, asking for help to climb to the parapet of the window were he was resting. He helped both of them up, each seating at one side of him and taking possession of one of his hands. He asked and they explained to him how the upper year girls had created a communication network so they could all stay in contact. Everything one of them said to their bracelets while resting a finger on a special rune would be broadcast to all their earrings. They were now working on a way to have multiple channels, so different conversations could be held simultaneously without interference, but until now the single channel had been quite useful.

"Why were you searching for me? Any news?"

"No, not really. We just wanted to know where you were and what were you doing..."

"No, there is more. We wanted to be with you, too."

"Oh, hum… thank you."

"Would you reward us with a kiss? You know, it was really hard to find you..."

"I… well, sure."

He briefly kissed both girls, remembering he had agreed to have more contact with all them whenever possible. Each took one of his hands, and glued at his sides. He was really liking this intimacy with the girls, as it was progressing in a pace that didn't scare him, instead he was feeling his confidence growing in a natural way, even if sometimes the sheer number of girls around him were too much.

Instead of immediately consider this multiples relationships as wrong because someone else conditioned him to think so, he was letting things progress in a natural way, guided by their own wishes instead of what society expected of them. He didn't know and didn't care too much about how it would be in the future, when they could wish for a more serious commitment. They were young and they were learning about it with little risks, and liking it, so that was enough for him. He felt privileged in respect to other boys, but life has been so hard to him up to now that some kind of compensation was due to him.

"Hum, Harry? What one need to start a new world? Or a new country at least?"

"What!? A new world? What exactly are you talking about, Romi?"

"Well, here in the island, we have a muggle world that is better we keep ignorant of magic, and we have a magical world that is only good for male pureblood bigots. Can't we make a third one, for us and maybe a few more who don't want to deal with the other two?"

"We even have a good idea to justify our world. We are calling the muggles zero-mags, because they don't have magic, and we're calling the magical world half-mags, because they only can do magic with wands. So, we're calling ourselves full-mags, because we don't need a wand any more. What do you think?"

Harry laughed before answering: "I like the idea! These pureblood bigots would have a fit at being called half-mags! But you would be citizens of a world and your parents of other… Wouldn't that be difficult?"

"We thought about it, and our conclusion is that this isn't really a problem. We can still love them and meet with them whenever we wish. It would be like it is today to muggleborns, with them here in our world but their parents in the muggle world."

"Yeah! If the muggleborns can do it, why not us too?"

Harry thought better over this idea. It had some good points. It could give them legitimacy to separate from the current ministry and its backwards tendencies.

"With your idea, we have now a sensible reason to separate, a logical argument that can divide their opinion, or at least justify our intentions to some impartial judge. But I think what we really need to make our own world is power. If the ministry doesn't accept our independence, they will try to interfere, and we'll need to defend ourselves from their interference. But we have the power. Few wand-wavers are so powerful as you. We are operating with 3 to 5 times the power of our untrained peers, and that is already more than most adult magicals. And we have Hogwarts and its powerful wards to protect us. Without power it doesn't matter if we're right or wrong, they'll just force us to comply or be exterminated."

"That sucks! Well, at least we have the power..."

"But we don't have the numbers. If we are 100 with a power of 5 each, we made 500 points. But if they are 10,000 with a power of 2 each, they made 20,000 and we are screwed!"

"It's not so simple. Hogwarts' defences can help us a lot. If we become independent… I mean, if we are able to produce our own food, potions ingredients and everything essential, we can simply keep them out."

"But can we?"

"We have space, soil, sun and water. And we have magic to help us with the work! Sure we can… maybe… What you think, Harry?"

"I think it is possible. We need a little more time… I think we'll need to deal with three enemies in the future: Dumbledore, the Ministry and Voldemort. We need to prepare ourselves. Mainly, we need to avoid foreigner interference. We already have serious internal opposition, we don't want the ICW to join them. Your idea can be the key to, at least, keep them neutral if we could convince them that the British Magical Ministry doesn't attend all magical folk here."

"But Dumbledore is high in the ICW, isn't him?"

"Not really. His position isn't one of authority, it's more a ceremonial one. And he'll be defending one of the sides in the conflict… we can use it against him, impugning his view as partial."

"So… we need to elaborate better our idea, citing laws and such, right?"

"And also see if we can become autonomous with food and what more we need too!"

"Yes. But there are also other things to consider: defences, weapons, espionage, communications, transport, healing, clothes and footwear, production of all kinds of items, maybe even sabotage and murder techniques..."

"I don't feel..." Astoria started, but was silenced by a kiss from Harry.

"You don't need to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. There are lots of other things you can help us with, like researching the legal aspects of your idea."

"Thank you, Harry. I'm sorry for being so limited..."

"No! I'm happy for you being as you are. You're my beautiful and smart blonde princess, and I'm sure you'll keep helping me with ideas like this one of zero, half and full-mags. You… Both of you, you don't need to be soldiers in the coming war. We also would need healers, farmers, researchers and all kind of workers."

"This doesn't mean we'll need to accept… uh… you know, boys, would we?"

"Why you dislike boys so much, Romi?"

"It's not that! It's that I already have the boy I want here with me, and he respects me! He doesn't try to order me around, he listens to my ideas and he cares for me. He doesn't push me away because I'm a girl or I'm too young or I'm not pureblood or whatever."

"Silence!" said Astoria, again focused on her tele-jewelry-phone.

"Harry, Lavender just told me the headmaster had invited Ronald Weasley for a chat and that you know what you have to do."

"Meddling old goat thinks he can force friendships! What an idiot. Well, time to go, see you later!"

With a last kiss to each girl, Harry ran down the corridor from the owlery back to the castle.

"I love him, even if he had ruined me for any other boy."

"That is unbecoming of a woman of your status, future queen Romilda the first!"

"What!?"

"He is prince Harry, future king of Potterland! We are his brides-to-be. We are future queens!"

"I like the way you think, future queen Astoria! Come on! We have a kingdom to conquest! There is work to do before we can be crowned."

.o0o.

"Albus! We need to talk! I have some serious problems to discuss with you!" said professor McGonagall entering the headmaster's office.

"I presume one of them is about the younger Mister Weasley?"

"How do you know? His… adventures had reached you yet?"

"I just talked with him before you called. I'm quite worried about the fall of our Golden Trio, as they were called. It seems Ronald Weasley and a couple of his friends aren't dealing with their puberties in a satisfactory way."

"Perverts, the three of them! Opening a peep hole to the girls' showers! I had difficult not transfiguring them into toilette paper!"

"Thanks Merlin you didn't! We wouldn't survive Molly's wrath! Anyway, we need to be hard with them. They had discussed even the rape of some young Slytherin girl! Not even the Marauders came to such extremes! And Mr. Weasley's partners are a half-blood and a muggleborn! They were risking much more than a possible expulsion! The purebloods would put them in Azkaban for life if one of their prized daughters was attacked!"

They discussed what to do to the wayward Gryffindors for another half hour until McGonagall could change topics to the concern that had brought her here today.

"Well, Albus, I'm sad to bring you more bad news, but the main reason I came to see you today is not Mr. Weasley, but Miss Granger."

"What happened, Minerva?"

"I'm afraid we didn't consider one serious aspect of Miss Granger when we decided to let her use a time-turner. We hoped she would just need a few extra hours every day so she could attend some extra classes and keep with all the extra homework. Our problem is that she isn't satisfied with attending the extra classes, she is trying to be the best student in all her classes!"

"And how is this wonderful goal causing problems?"

"A common student only try their best in one or two disciplines. This means they have an average of 2 to 4 hours daily to study their main subject ahead of classes. For Miss Granger to keep the first position in every class she would need around 4 hours of extra study in each discipline. With 7 core disciplines and 5 electives, she would need 48 hours daily to dedicated to extra studies on top of another 24 or more to sleep and take care of their daily needs and normal classes. You told me the maximum a person could use the time-turner without risks is to extend each day by half, so we limited her to 6 hours daily for safety, which is much less than the required for her to achieve her goal. She is cutting her sleep time to compensate, with terrible results. She is stressed, tired, isolated from all her peers and going to fail miserly if we don't intervene soon. Thanks Merlin her friend Potter had seen the signals and alerted me to this situation."

"So, it was Mister Potter who alerted you?" asked Dumbledore rhetorically. 'Hum, it seems the boy had kept his word and tried to mend his friendships. It then means that is Granger and Weasley, with their addictions to study and lust, that are keeping him away. I'll need to put this two back on course.'

"Yes, it was. He came to me this morning with his concerns. We also discussed Weasley. He is appalled his friend had turned into such a pervert. What can we do about Miss Granger?"

"I'll talk with her. I'll remember her that she has being granted a privilege on the condition of using it well. I'll threat her to cancel the privilege if she continues to abuse it."

Minerva wasn't sure of the efficiency of such approach, but she let it be for now as she didn't know of any better solution. But she will be monitoring her precious wonder girl from now on.

.o0o.

Dumbledore was left soon after to rethink on the status of his plans. First he thought about Mr. Weasley and Miss Granger. He thought that he could make Miss Granger see reason and make her continue use of the time-turner rely on her forgiving and re-approaching Mister Potter. That could work to bring the two together. But Mister Weasley was a totally different matter. The boy was extremely jealousy of Mister Potter's success with the girls. In his talk with the red-head boy, after a little reprimand because of his falling grades, he questioned him about Harry Potter. From the boy's point of view Harry had abandoned him to flaunty his fame over most girls and seduce them, not inviting his best mate to share his harem. He and his friends Finnegan and Thomas had tried to woo some girls just to be ignored because the Boy-Who-Lived has a firm grip on them all, including his own sister. It would be a terrible hard work to mend so many burnt bridges between them, as they were so different from each other. But, while he was counting in keeping Harry close to the Weasleys, it wasn't necessary for the youngest Mister Weasley to be the glue in this attachment. While the boy had isolated himself from his former friend, it seems that little Miss Weasley had got closer to him. Minerva also cited that Mister Potter was in friendly terms with the twins. Between these three they could easily replace Ronald's function.

Sirius Black was still a fugitive. That was one of the few things that went his way recently. He was sure the Marauder wasn't in contact with the Potter boy, or the boy would have been pestering him for his help to free his godfather and rightful guardian. With Harry secluded at Hogwarts until June, keeping them apart must be an easy task.

The lack of cooperation of elves, ghosts and portraits in keeping him informed about the students' deeds was a serious handicap. Control of information was the key ingredient in his modus operandi. He also felt weaker without his tap on the castle's wards. And he had now discovered he no longer could apparate through those wards. Had all this been the results of a single manipulation of the wards or were them tampered more than one time? He wasn't sure, and that greatly worried him.

He was in doubt about what to do on this issue with the wards and the control of the castle. He couldn't even remember where the wardstones were located, which severely limited his chances to study the problem and solve it himself. Asking for help was tantamount to a declaration of weakness, which could prejudiced his image in several fronts. Doing nothing was a risk, but was also his best option for now.

.o0o.

Harry returned to The Room and immediately rewarded Lavender and Parvati with a kiss for being so observant and caring, then Daphne and Tracey for the amazing plan to avoid Dumbledore's meddling in his businesses. He then proceeded to take care of his mail. He was up-to-date with his correspondence in English, and the girls were helping him with his foreigner fans, translating the letters to English with the help of spells or, in some cases, by direct knowledge of the language, then translating his answers back to whatever language was used by the fans. With so many girls to help him he expected to clear the backlog in the next two weeks. It was a good exercise, they all have being acquiring some knowledge in other languages and a better grasp of the English language itself.

Amelia finally had time to talk to the leader of the unspeakables, one Saul Croacher. They exchanged vows for truthfulness and openness in what matter for the downfall of Voldemort. She told him what she discovered from Harry and from Pettigrew's interrogation and he told her about a prophecy regarding Potter and what he knew about horcruxes. They would work together from then on to defeat the Dark Lord.

She and Sirius were comfortable installed in the Chamber of Secrets, in a replica of the Bones ancestor manor. The tunnel the basilisk had used to feed in the Forbidden Forest was warded against intruders and let them (mainly Amelia) out whenever necessary.

They were all happy that Dumbledore had avoided any drastic measures, as many parents weren't happy with the possibility of their daughters being involved in political affairs or being secluded in a castle without communications with them. Sirius was currently occupied with the creation of dozens of pairs of communicating mirrors so each girl could keep contact with their parents and slowly undermining their resistance. Meanwhile, they would keep learning and researching whatever they could to face their future challenges.
