Chapter VIII

Arriving in Nami no Kuni, Tazuna led team seven to a small village where his home was. Upon entering the small home team seven was introduced to a young woman named Tsunami she was Tazuna's daughter.

"Tou-san welcome home Inari will be glad to see you home safe." Tsunami said warmly.

"I wouldn't be if not for these ninja." Tazuna said with a laugh.

"Thank you for bringing my father home. Come sit down, dinner is just about finished." Tsunami said bowing slightly out of respect to Team Seven.

Just then the door opened once again and a small boy walked in and walked past team seven without a word.

"Oh Inari you're home good." Tsunami said with a soft smile. "This is my son Inari."

"You're all going to die." Inari said coldly.

"Inari, that was rude. These ninja protected your grandfather on his way back home and will protect him while he finishes the bridge." Tsunami said disciplining inari verbally.

"It doesn't matter, no one can stop Gato. Just go home or you'll just die." the young boy said.

There was a silence among team seven and a chill ran up everyone in the house's spine including Inari.

"Is that what you believe?" Naruto said coldly. "Do you think your grandfather will just stop building his bridge just because of Gato? Do you think you're the only one who has it hard? You have a loving mother who feeds you, a grandfather willing to risk his life to try and give you a better life. All my life I've been shunned, outcast, and ignored. I don't have a family to call my own. I've never had a mother tell me she loves me or to take care of me when I got sick. I've never had a father to teach me the most basic of things. If you want to give up and cry just because you had something bad happen to you go ahead and cry but don't you dare force your attitude on others."

Naruto then turned and walked outside slamming the door shut on his way out.

Sakura looked after Naruto with a feeling of guilt weighing on her. She had been so mean to Naruto.

"Kakashi-sensei is everything Naruto said true?" Sakura asked.

"Yes but he left out a few things." Kakashi replied.

Sasuke was silent, she knew everything that Naruto had been through and everything she had been through. Why hadn't Naruto said anything about her? Maybe he was trying to protect her from painful memories or maybe it wasn't his place to say her own hardships.

Sasuke sighed and walked outside and jumped up on the roof and just sat there looking up at the stars.

Naruto was walking through the village looking at the state of living in the village and he saw things were bad. As he was walking he saw a brothel, something that really didn't belong in a small village like Nami. Naruto hated brothels he hated when self respecting women were forced to make a living selling their bodies for money or to pay off debts.

Naruto sighed and reached for his hitai-ate and took it off then used the Henge to change his clothes into something simpler like a fisherman. With his disguise set, Naruto walked into the brothel and looked around. Sighing Naruto walked further into the brothel with an air of annoyance about him but he was on a mission and needed to play his cards right.

"Welcome to Gato's Palace. How can I help you today?" asked a young woman standing behind a counter.

Naruto looked at the woman and for all her cheer he could tell she was terrified.

"I would like a private booth with one of your girls." Naruto said calmly.

"Right away sir." the receptionist said getting a key. "Your booth number is number twenty one of our girls will be with you shortly."

Naruto took the key and made his way to booth twenty and took a seat on the bed. Brothels were known for many things but most commonly being sex houses. After a few minutes a knock came to the door and then opened. Entering the room was a young teenage girl no older than himself who was fourteen.

"Hello Master, I will be your companion for the night." the girl said.

Behind the girl entered three men, one of them grabbed the girl and put a blade to her throat.

"Alright boy we know you're a ninja so ditch the disguise and we won't hurt the girl." the man said.

"Wrong move bastard." Naruto said.

Naruto rushed the men and drew both of his tanto and easily slit each of the three men's throats. The girl fell to the ground but Naruto caught her so she didn't hurt herself.

"You killed them?" the girl asked.

"Where's Gato?" Naruto asked the girl.

"He took over the village leader's compound; it's his main base here in Nami." the girl replied.

"Go home and forget what happened here tonight." Naruto said to the girl.

The girl nodded her head and ran from the room and left the brothel all together.

Naruto left his booth and made his way toward the exit where he was blocked by four more thugs.

"You're not going anywhere boy." one of the thugs said.

Naruto still had his twin tanto held in his signature reverse grip and stood his ground. "Come and get me then." Naruto said coldly.

The men charged Naruto with drawn katanas and attempted to slash at Naruto. Naruto being smaller, more flexible, and better trained easily jumped over the men and landed behind them. All four men were close together.

"Jukenho: Lingchi." came Naruto's voice from behind the thugs.

The men turned around just as Naruto launched his assault, killing each and every one of the thugs. All the girls and women witnessed the swift execution of the thugs and became afraid of Naruto.

"All of you go home this Brothel is now closed permanently." Naruto said firmly.

The women ran out of the brothel leaving the thugs behind.

"I'll give you all one chance to leave quietly." Naruto said calmly.

The men looked at each other and drew their katanas and got ready to fight Naruto.

"So be it." Naruto said quietly.

The next ten minutes was a short yet bloody battle the brothel didn't allow for the thugs to effectively gang up on Naruto who made quick work of the untrained thugs. When the last thug fell Naruto's breathing was labored but not out of breath and the young blonde was covered in blood.

Naruto left the brothel and made his way to Gato's base with rage in his eyes. Naruto would not allow the crime lord to see one more sunrise. When Naruto reached the compound he saw a single light on from a window on the second floor, Naruto assumed this was Gato's room.

Naruto scaled the outer wall of the compound and rushed the main entrance killing the two guards. Naruto moved swiftly through the compound making his way to Gato killing anyone who got in his way. Naruto was swift and precise, clearly these thugs had never been trained to fight ninja one on one. Upon reaching Gato's Office Naruto kicked the door open covered in the blood of Gato's men.

"Zori, Waraji kill this fool." Gato commanded his bodyguards.

"But sir he's covered in blood and I have been hearing screams throughout the compound." Zori was visibly shaken by Naruto's appearance.

"I don't pay you to talk back, I pay you to protect me now kill this idiot and be done with it if he has gone through the whole compound he is sure to be weakened." Gato ordered again.

Zori and Waraji both rushed Naruto who effortlessly ducked under the blade into both of the men's guards and slit their throats.

Gato seeing this grew scared he knew ninja were good fighters and deadly in numbers but he always attacked ninja who were worn out and exhausted from battle. Oh how foolish he was to underestimate Uzumaki Naruto.

"Wh-What do you want? I'll pay you whatever you want." Gato pleaded.

"I don't want your money Gato just your death." Naruto said. "You have plagued Nami and once I remove you then Nami can prosper once again."

Naruto walked closer to Gato who was trembling in fear. However Gato was saved from Naruto's wrath when a hand was placed on Naruto's shoulder.

"You certainly left quite a trail to follow." came Kakahsi's voice.

"What do you want, Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto asked.

"I get you're angry at Gato for what he's done to Nami but do you know why you're killing him?" Kakashi asked.

"Gato is a coward that preys upon the weak he deserves this." Naruto said firmly.

"I agree. But do you really want his blood on your hands? You have single handedly torn his operation in Nami apart. If Gato leaves Nami leaving the money he has stolen from Nami behind, do you think he can change?" Kakashi asked Naruto.

Naruto looked behind him at his sensei, his eyes red with slit pupils instead of their normal blue with round pupils.

"If I let him live, what's to stop him from doing this again?" Naruto asked.

"If you're sure about this then follow through with it." Kakashi said.

Naruto closed his eyes momentarily before throwing his tanto at Gato. the short man looked on with eyes wide, then he felt a cut on his cheek and warm liquid coming out of the wound.

"Leave but if you ever darken another village like you have Nami there will be nothing that can save you from me." Naruto said.

A/N: Hey all Azrael here I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. A little darker than previous chapters but this story was never meant to be all fluff and lemons this is a serious story with blood and violence. Also what did you think about me sparing Gato? I wanted to kill him but something told me not to in the end so I want to hear your thoughts.
