Chapter XII

"Alright times up you have failed to extract the required information your team fails." said the Chunin in the room. "Genin Uzumaki join your team. If they have extracted the information from their captive then your team will pass this exam. A medic will come to you shortly and treat your wounds."
"Hai." Naruto said as he grabbed his clothes and walked out of the room.
As Naruto joined team seven still topless Sasuke saw his toned body and a blush formed on her face and her mind went blank.
"You ok Sasuke you look kinda red are you feeling alright?" Naruto asked.
Nothing was said.
Kiba was the first to speak.
"Oh this is priceless, the Uchiha has a crush on Naruto of all people." Kiba said loudly.

Hearing Kiba's words Sasuke regained her composure and adopted her usual emotionless glare and looked to Kiba from the corner of her eyes.
"Kiba, do you ever shut up?" Sasuke asked coldly.
Naruto put his shirt on and sighed before walking over to his team.
"How did your interrogation go?" Naruto asked, choosing to ignore Kiba for the moment.
"Too easy. I put him in a Genjutsu and he broke." Sasuke said in a bored tone.
"Yeah you'd think some of these villages would train their shinobi to resist being interrogated." Kiba said in agreement.
"Meh, not our problem." Naruto said.
"Anyway, how did you resist being tortured?" Kiba asked. "I mean seriously you didn't get any more training in anti-torture than the rest of us."
Naruto narrowed his eyes ever so slightly to the onlooker you wouldn't even notice is but Sasuke and Kakashi both caught it.
"Kiba for the past fourteen years I've had to live with being called demon and the Kyubi reborn in human form. The villagers have done more to me than what these idiots could ever hope to do." Naruto said coldly then walked out of the room.
Sasuke went to follow him but a hand on her shoulder stopped her.
"Let him go, he needs to calm down." Kakashi told her.

The next morning the genin teams that passed the first exam gathered in the arena once again. Before them were their team leaders and one Mitarashi Anko.
"Alright you lot, your next exam is survival. Your goal is to reach the summit of the Three Wolf Mountain. You will have five days to reach the summit. But that's not all you will require two scrolls which you will have to take from your fellow competitors. Each team will receive one scroll either heaven or earth. You will have to fight other teams to get the other scroll. But there is a catch: you won't know what scroll the other teams are carrying so you may end up with duplicate scrolls." Anko explained.
"So what are the rules?" asked a random genin.
"An excellent question." Anko replied. "Listen up you lot. You need a full team to complete this exam meaning if one of your team dies you fail. Also you're not allowed to open your scrolls until you reach the summit. If you open your scrolls before reaching the summit you fail."
"What about food?" Choji asked.
Naruto facepalmed at Choji's question.
"There is plenty of food between here and the summit. You just have to hunt for it." Anko said smirking. "Now sign these waivers and you will get your scroll."
One by one the teams entered a tent and came out with a scroll hidden in their bags so no one knew what scroll the other teams were holding. Once all the teams had their scrolls they gathered back in the center of the arena.
"Your time starts now." Anko said as she fired off a flare gun.

Two had passed and Team Seven had reached the base of Three Wolf Mountain. However before the trio could begin their ascent up the mountain they were cut off by a team from Kusagakure.
"Well now if it isn't Sasuke-chan and her team. Kukuku." said the leader with a laugh.
Deep within Naruto a certain fox growled but said nothing to its host.
"How do you know my name?" Sasuke asked.
"I know many things about you my dear. I can give you the power you want to kill your traitorous brother. All you have to do is join me." the leader said. "Leave Konoha and join me and I will give you unimaginable power."
"Sasuke I don't like this. Something feels wrong about this ninja." Naruto said.
Suddenly the Shinobi was in front of Naruto holding the blonde by the neck, lifting him into the air.
"I think that's enough out of you." the leader said before his fingertip emitted a purple flame. "Gogyo Fuin."
In a swift thrust the ninja placed a seal on Naruto's stomach disrupting the flow of chakra between Naruto and the Kyubi sealed inside him. Naruto lost consciousness and went limp. The Kusa Leader threw Naruto aside and returned his attention to Sasuke.
Sasuke looked afraid, more afraid than she had felt in a very long time. However she didn't waiver.
"Go to hell." Sasuke said firmly.
"My dear you don't have a choice in the matter." the shinobi said.
In a blink of an eye the man's neck stretched out and bit down on Sasuke's neck as a seal appeared where she was bitten.
Sasuke went limp as consciousness left her body causing her to fall to the snow covered ground.
"When the time comes my dear you will seek me out. Kukuku." With that the man fled with his two teammates.

Three days later, Kiba was still watching over Sasuke and Naruto when he heard a sound from outside the cave he was using for shelter. When Kiba emerged he was greeted by another team of genin. This team was from Otogakura, a relatively small and newly founded village that no one knew much about.
"Where's the Uchiha?" Dosu asked.
"Katon: HÅsenka no Jutsu!" Came Sasuke's voice from within the cave.
Kiba whirled around and saw two glowing red eyes with three tomoe circling the pupil.
"Bout time you woke up." Kiba said.
"Kiba, shut up." Sasuke said coldly.
Sasuke then rushed Dosu before a bell sounded from behind her and the world around her disappeared. Thanks to the sharingan Sasuke knew this was a Genjutsu and easily broke the Jutsu.
"What but how? No one has ever broken my Genjutsu." Kin said in shock.
"The sharingan allows the wielder to see through Genjutsu." came Naruto's voice from the cave.
"Then I will pluck out her eyes." Dosu said.
However as he rushed Sasuke he was kicked in the chest and sent flying by Naruto.
"I think it's time we show you why you don't fuck with Team Seven." Naruto said. Kiba you take the spike over there, Sasuke you can handle the Genjutsu specialist, and I will take care of the mummy." Naruto said.
"Hell yea. Come on Akamaru time to get wild." Kiba said.

Naruto squared off with Dosu who looked annoyed in his lone visible eye.
"You know we had orders to only kill the Uchiha but I think we'll get bonus points for killing Konoha's most hated." Dosu said.
"Yea about that. Did you really expect to kill Sasuke-chan without having to fight her team?" Naruto asked.
"Not really." Dosu said as he rushed Naruto.
As Dosu reached Naruto he went to punch Naruto who ducked under the punch. However a sharp whistle sounded from Dosu's gauntlet as the gauntlet moved past Naruto.
"Gah." Naruto cried out holding his ears. "Ok so you use sound to fight, that's interesting."
"You can't win Kyubi, just accept your fate and die." Dosu said.
"Well that's your first mistake." Naruto said calmly. "Jukenho: Lingchi."
In a matter of seconds Naruto had delivered sixty-four lethal cuts to Dosu.
"Impossible." Dosu said as he dropped to one knee then to the snow blood pooling around him.
A/N: Hey all Azrael here with the latest installment of Wings of a Butterfly. So as you all see Orochimaru still branded Sasuke with the infamous Curse Seal of Heaven but will Sasuke actually leave Konoha in pursuit of power?
I also killed Dosu so what is the fate of the other two members of his team, will they appear in later chapters? I hope you all keep reading and enjoy it as much as I do writing it.
