A/N: Here's another one of my original chapters with a some humor and a certain dragon that was never shown.
Chapter 58: One Good Twins Deserves Another
It was another day on Dragon's Edge and Hicca was in her lab, experimenting with different dragon chemicals.
Hicca stirred a vial of a lilac mixture in one hand while holding a bottle of Flightmare Algae in another canister. "Hmm, okay. If my calculations are correct, then if I add just enough lavender to the algae," she said as she began to pour the mixture onto the bottle when…
"Hey Hicca!" Tuffnut said, popping up from behind Hicca, causing her jump and nearly dropping her equipment. "Whatcha doing?" He asked.
Hicca caught her equipment just in time before she sent a glare to Tuffnut as she calmed down a bit. "I am working on an experiment on the Flightmare Algae before you showed up." She explained simply as she set her equipment on the table.
"Oh cool! What is it?" Tuffnut asked.
"I'm trying to see how different color mixtures of plants react with the algae," Hicca explained, before gesturing to three vials of different colored algae, "So far I've used roses, green orchids and sunflowers, and now I'm trying to see if I can get a purple from lilacs."
"Well then step aside my fellow twin, and let the old Tuff show you how it's done!" Tuffnut said as he grabbed the algae and lilac mixture.
Hicca's eyes widened, "Wait Tuff! Don't add too much or you'll-" She tried to warn but was too late as Tuffnut added the whole mixture into the algae creating an explosion of purple smoke.
Hicca and Tuff coughed as the smoke cleared out as they saw notes, equipment all over the room, even themselves, were covered in purple slime. Hicca then glared at Tuffnut. "Cause a chemical reaction." She finished with an angry tone.
"Oh. Uh, oops." Tuffnut said sheepishly while looking nervous. "But hey, at least your hut has your favorite color." He said as the hut was covered in purple smoke and slime all over the room.
Hicca growled at Tuffnut before she took a breath. "I think you should take this somewhere else, Tuff. Why don't you go with Ruffnut?" She suggested as she tried to keep her anger in check, before realizing something. "Wait a minute, where is Ruff? You two are always together when you bug someone."
Tuff just waved, "Eh, we're just having a contest to see which Nut can cause the most mischief in one day, so she's probably somewhere around here." He told her.
Hicca gave him a deadpanned look, "Well I say, you're off to bang off start." She said to him.
"Why thank you." Tuffnut smiled.

In Hiccup's hut, Hiccup was working on his Inferno as he is adding more Monstrous Nightmare gel.
"Okay. Thanks to the improvements Fishlegs, my sister and I worked on our blades, they can handle more gel than before and longer ignites for the flames for much longer periods of time." Hiccup said to himself as he untightened the shaft and poured some Monstrous Nightmare gel down it.
But just before he screwed it back into place, Ruffnut then came out of nowhere as she came up behind without Hiccup knowing that she was there.
"Hey there Hiccup!" Ruffnut cheered.
Hiccup jumped in startled by that as he nearly dropped his Inferno if he didn't catch it in time as he caught his breath and turned to Ruffnut with a dull expression, "And what can I do for you on this fine morning Ruff?" ?He asked dully.
"Oh, just wondering what you are doing, Hiccy." Ruffnut said.
Hiccup sighed, "If you must know, I've been working on improving my sword, it can now take on much more Nightmare gel for longer lasting flames." He explained.
"Really?" Ruffnut asked as she snatched the sword, "Well then let's test this bad boy out!" She declared.
"No wait! Ruff!" Hiccup called out as Ruffnut ignited the blade. "Be careful with that, it's not completely…!" He tried to explain.
But then the bottom shaft of the handle opened up as Monstrous Nightmare gel poured out onto the floor as the blades went out as Ruffnut just held out the sword.
"Sealed tight yet." Hiccup finished dully.
"Uh… At least the flame went up." Ruffnut said sheepishly.
"Give me that." Hiccup grumbled as he grabbed his sword back from Ruffnut. "Now I gotta refill it again." He mumbled.
"I'll help!" Ruffnut offered.
"No! I mean… I got this. It's just a simple refill." Hiccup said to Ruff calmly.
"You sure? I can help you get more Monstrous Nightmare gel." Ruffnut offered again.
"I got this. Just go with your brother." Hiccup said before realizing something. "Wait, if you are here, then where's Tuff?" He asked.
"Oh, he's at your sister's hut, wondering what she's doing too." Ruffnut casually said.
"What? Why is he there?" Hiccup asked in confusion.
"Oh, we're having a contest of which Nut will cause the most mischief in a day, so we each choose one person to cause grief and we've gotta see who can trip there's up the most." Ruff said with a smirk, before leaning over to Hiccup, "And message from Thor, it's gonna be me."
"So you two are gonna keep doing this to either me and Hicca until the winner is decided?" Hiccup guessed with a bored expression.
"Wow, you really are the smartest Viking in or out of the archipelago." Ruffnut said in impressed.
"Thanks, I guess. But do you have to interrupt us from our work?" Hiccup asked.
"We have to make mischief somehow." Ruffnut shrugged.
"Oh gods." Hiccup groaned as he had a feeling that he and Hicca were in for a whole day of trouble.

Hicca was walking across the board and made her way down the ladder, until one of the steps broke, "AAHH!" She screamed before landing on her back.
She groaned and looked up to see Tuffnut snickering at her while holding an ax, clearly responsible for that step. "Tuff!" Hicca yelled in frustration before Tuff ran off.

Hiccup was about to take Toothless out for a flight, but when Toothless was about to take off, he fell off the edge of the stables as he somehow couldn't fly.
"Toothless!" Hiccup yelled out as the two landed through some trees before landing on a bush.
As they got up, Hiccup rubbed his head and then saw that the connection rod to Toothless' tail was gone.
"What the? Where's the connection rod?" Hiccup asked in surprise.
Toothless looked at the back of his tail as he noticed it as well. 'It's gone? How did I not notice that?' He warbled in surprise.
The two then heard laughter as they turned and Ruffnut laughing while holding up the connecting rod, mockingly.
"Ruff!" Hiccup yelled as Toothless growled before Ruffnut ran off.
'I really hate it when the Thorston Twins prank us dragons.' Toothless snorted, looking at Hiccup irritably.
"Yeah, I hear ya bud." Hiccup agreed with his dragon.

Hicca was going to enter her hut with Midnight, but when she opened the door up, she was buried under a pile of fishes as Midnight jumped in surprise.
Hicca popped her head out, looking seriously annoyed as she saw Tuffnut running past, laughing up a storm. "Really funny, Tuff." Hicca grumbled before Midnight sniffed the fish and started eating some. "Yeah, sure. Eat up girl. " She sarcastically said to her dragon.
Midnight looked at Hicca innocently. 'Hey, waste not, why not.' She warbles as she continues eating.

Hiccup was sneaking around the Edge as he hid behind a tree. Once he realizes the coast is clear, he races out of his hiding spot as he races to his hut.
But just when he thought he was in the clear, the ground beneath caved in and he landed in a pit. Hiccup coughed and looked up as he saw Ruffnut waving mockingly at him with a smirk before running off.
"Oh, yeah sure. Just leave me down here! Always wanted to live in a hole!" Hiccup yelled to Ruffnut.

Hicca and Midnight are going for a flight while trying to get as far away from Tuffnut as they could.
Hicca constantly keeps her eyes everywhere, thinking Tuffnut could be hiding behind any cloud. "Keep your guard up, girl. That Thorston is as sneaky as he is pranky." She told her dragon.
'Don't worry. I'll keep my guard up.' Midnight warbled in assurance. But then out of nowhere, eels came falling down as Midnight became freaked out by them. 'Flying eels!' She roared in panic.
"Midnight! Calm down!" Hicca called out as Midnight kept shaking around, trying to dodge the eels, but Midnigh got so freaked out as she then stopped flying and fell into the ocean.
Hicca and Midnight popped out of the ocean as the girl spitted out some water, she then noticed that one of the eels wasn't moving and grabbed one, "Hey, this eel is fake!" She realized.
'What?!' Midnight asked in surprise by this as she touched one and realized that Hicca was right.
They then heard laughing as they looked up and saw Tuffnut on Barf and Belch as he laughed down at them while holding a barrel where the fake eels came, "Should've looked up for the Tuffster when on a dragon, Hicca." Tuffnut laughed before flying off.
Hicca and Midnight watched them go as Hicca growled and slammed her fist in the water. "That's it! This has got to stop!" She yelled in rage.
'I agree.' Midnight grumbled in agreement as she had enough of this stupid game.
Hicca swam back to Midnight as the female Night Fury took to the sky and shook the water off her. "Let's find Hiccup and get this ridiculous prank contest done." Hicca said as they flew back to the Edge.

They eventually made it to the clubhouse and Hicca, after checking left and right for any pranks, dismounted from Midnight.
"Hiccup! We need to talk about-" Hicca called before rounding the corner was her brother and Toothless, covered in paint and looking very irritated, "Whoa! Should I ask?" Hicca asked her brother.
"Let's just say that Ruff decided to give us a taste of Raeda's art physically." Hiccup said dully as he noticed Hicca and Midnight are wet. "And must I ask why both of you are wet?" He asked his sister.
Hicca groaned, "Hiccup, we can't go on like this!" She yelled out while looking really annoyed. "If we don't find a way to get these two to stop pranking, we might have to leave the Edge to go as far away from them as possible or jump into the volcano just to finally end it!" She pointed out.
"I agree, Hicca. We need to find a way to end this stupid game before we die of mischief." Hiccup groaned.
"Yeah, but what can we-" Hicca started before the Thorston Twins suddenly ran inside.
"Hiccup! Hicca!" Tuffnut exclaimed.
"We've got a major problem!" Ruffnut continued worriedly.
Hiccup and Hicca just rolled their eyes at this as they gave a deadpan expression.
"Oh let me guess? You ran out of ideas for pranks?" Hiccup guessed.
Hicca turned her back to the blonde twins, "Nice try guys, but after today there's nothing you can say that will-"
"It's Barf and Belch!" The Thorston Twins yelled.
The Haddock twins looked at them in confusion. "What?" Hiccup asked.
"What's this about Barf and Belch?" Hicca asked as well.
"Well, as you know, I just got back with them after my most awesome prank and then when I was preparing for my next one, Barf and Belch suddenly collapsed." Tuffnut explained.
"When I got back, I found out that Barf couldn't let out any gas." Ruffnut continued.
"And Belch couldn't get a spark started." Tuffnut added.
Hiccup and Hicca looked at each other with concern, they weren't sure if this was another prank but they knew even the Thorston Twins wouldn't joke about their dragon being in bad shape.
"Take us to Barf and Belch." Hicca said to them.
The Thorston twins nodded as the two pairs of twins rushed out of the clubhouse, while the Haddock twins made sure to keep their guard up if this was a prank.

Once they arrived, the Haddock Twins found Barf and Belch laying on the floor looking very unwell.
Hicca immediately started looking over the Zippleback as she now gave a concerned look. "Hiccup, this is no prank. Barf and Belch are really sick." She said seriously.
Hiccup frowned, "Well, what is it then?" He asked his sister.
"I've read about this in the Book of Dragons," Hicca explained, "Apparently at this certain point of its life, a Hideous Zippleback will catch a disease that prevents them from firing its gas attack and from releasing its gas as well." She explained.
"Wait, are you saying that Barf and Belch are having a similar disease like how Hookfang had a couple of years back when he lost his flames?" Hiccup asked in surprise.
"Yeah. But this is a little different from a Monstrous Nightmare." Hicca pointed out.
"Is there a cure for this?" Tuffnut asked. "I mean, there was a cure for Hookfang when he lost his flames." He reminded them.
Hicca gave a worried expression as she turned to the Thorston twins. "I checked the Book of Dragons for any possible cure for Barf and Belch, and the good news is, there is one."
"And the bad news?" Hiccup asked.
"All the ingredients, including the most important one, are found in only one place," Hicca explained as she pulled out a map with an island that had the image of a four headed plant-like dragon, "Flytrap Jungle." She said to them grimly.
The Thorston Twins looked at each other in confusion, "What's so bad about fly traps or a jungle?" Tuffnut asked.
Hiccup widened his eyes as he turned to the Thorston twins. "Don't you guys remember the lesson when we went over the Book of Dragons three years back about different types of class dragons?" He questioned them as he knows what his sister is talking about.
The Thorston Twins looked confused before Ruffnut gave me a so-so hand gesture.
"Oh for the love of…" Hiccup rolled his eyes. "It's home to one of the most dangerous dragons that has the ability to lure its prey into its jaws."
"The Devious Snaptrapper." Hicca finished.
"Oh, got it." Tuffnut shook his head before giving a confused look. "What's a Devious Snaptrapper?" He asked his sister.
"I have no idea, bro." Ruffnut answered with a shrug as the Haddock Twins facepalmed.

Later, they were in the clubhouse with the other riders as they showed a picture of the Snaptrapper on the table.
"This is the Snaptrapper." Hicca said as she gestured to the dragon.
"Oooohhh." The Thorston twins said together.
"The Snaptrapper is a four headed dragon and distant cousin to the Zipplback." Hiccup started. "It's like the venus flytrap of the dragon world."
"It makes itself look like a big plant to hide itself, and uses a special pheromone that smells like chocolate to lure in victims for an easy meal." Hicca added.
"And like the Hideous Zippleback, it has similar firepower, but instead of two heads, it has four, each with its own personality and just for fun it had four sets of triple split jaws packed with some of the most powerful venom in the world." Hiccup finished.
"Awesome!" The Thorston twins said in awed.
"That's like an upgraded version of a Zippleback!" Ruffnut cheered.
"I want one!" Tuffnut said excitedly.
The others looked at them blankly as the two remembered their own dragon, "Um, not that Barf and Belch aren't already awesome." Tuffnut said quickly.
"Yeah. We could never replace our dragon!" Ruffnut added.
"Yeah, we get that." Hicca said with rolled eyes. "Anyway, most of the other ingredients will be easy to get, but the last and most important one could be the trickiest." She said to them.
"What do you mean?" Fishlegs asked.
"The key ingredient for the medicine is a Snaptrapper Venom." Hicca answered. "Which is…"
"Is on a Snaptrapper dragon." Hiccup finished grimly.
"So you're telling me, we have to travel to a forbidden island to get the stuff for Barf and Belch's medicine, including the deadly venom of a venus flytrap dragon that gets a man in one gulp?" Snotlout asked.
The Haddock twins gave blank looks before Hiccup spoke. "That's the plan, Snotlout." He said.
"Thank you for summarizing it." Hicca added.
"Well, I'm out." Snotlout said, walking away.
"Well then, thank you for volunteering to take care of Barf and Belch while the rest of us are gone." Hicca said with a small grin.
"What?!" Snotlout asked in surprise. "You want me to take care of a two-headed dragon, one of them barf gas and the other one sparks it, until you get back with the medicine from an island that has a dragon that can eat you in one gulp?" He questioned.
"Yep." The Haddock twin said dully.
"Mmmm." Snotlout said. "Let's see, go to a dangerous island and get killed by a four-headed dragon that can eat you in gulp to get the medicine or stay here to take care of a two headed dragon where it's safe?" He asked himself before nodding. "Okay, I'll look after that two-headed muttonhead." He said.
"I think I should stay too." Fishlegs said, "Someone's gotta make sure Snotlout doesn't get Barf and Belch even more sick."
"I'll stay too to back Fishlegs up." Raeda said. "Those two hardly listen to each other and sometimes argue so many times, they easily get distracted." She added while pointing at the two.
"We do not!" Both Snotlout and Fishlegs complained.
"Must I repeat the times you two nearly got killed because of your disagreements?" Raeda asked with a raised eyebrow.
Snotlout and Fishlegs were about to argue, but stopped and looked away, grumbling.
"Then the rest of us will head to Flytrap Jungle to get the ingredients." Hiccup said to himself, his sister, the Thorston twins, Henry and Astrid. But then noticed the Thorston Twins were already gone
"Well then what are we waiting for?!" Tuffnut asked as they looked outside and saw that Tuffnut was on Toothless while Ruffnut was on Midnight.
"Dragon Riders, let's ride!" Ruffnut declared with a smirk.
"Hey, that's my line!" Hicca yelled out as Toothless and Midnight grumbled as the Thorston twins were on them again.
"Let's just go." Hiccup said with a sigh as the team made it to their dragons.

Not long after leaving, the rest of the Riders were flying across the ocean while the Thorston twins rode with the Haddock Twins respectively.
"Are we there yet?" Tuffnut asked for the twentieth time.
"Not yet, Tuff." Hiccup said tiredly.
"How about now?" Ruffnut asked next.
"Not even close, Ruff." Hicca said in annoyance.
The blonde twins looked down, "Now?" They both asked in unison.
"No!" The Haddock twins yelled.
"Um, actually guys?" Henry spoke up and pointed down to a jungle island.
The Haddock twins looked up and saw the jungle island. "Oh, wait. Yeah we're here." Hiccup said.
"Sorry guys." Hicca apologized.
The dragons then landed at the edge of the jungle.
The Riders dismounted their dragons as Hiccup spoke up. "Okay guys, we need to gather the ingredients we need to make that cure for Barf and Belch." He instructed.
"I have written down a list of the ingredients we need." Hicca said as she rolled out her list of the ingredients they need for the cure.
"And uh, how are we gonna get the toughest ingredients, which is the Snaptrapper's venom?" Astrid asked.
"Ooh, ooh! We call getting the venom!" Ruffnut said, jumping up and down excitedly.
"Yeah, yeah! We can get the venom!" Tuffnut added while raising his hand.
"You're just volunteering so you can find this dragon that has four-heads and will eat you in a hot second!" Hicca reminded them.
"Well there's that too." Tuffnut told her.
"Oh for the love of… how about this, you two are with us while we gather the ingredients together while Astrid and Henry partner up." Hiccup said that the Haddock and Thorston twins stay together while Henry and Astrid go after the rest of the ingredients.
"Eh, alright." Tuffnut conceded, "But remember, we get first dibs on the Dragon." He told the Haddock Twins.
"Fair enough," Hicca said before turning to Astrid and Henry, "Good luck guys, and remember, watch out for anything that smells like chocolate." She warned.
"Got it, Hicca." Henry said as the group split up, none of them noticed among the trees eight pairs of eyes watched them.
"Okay, let's go find us a Snaptrapper." Hiccup declared as the Haddock and Thorston twins walked to another direction as the eyes narrowed and silently stalked behind them.

The Thorstons and Haddock twins are walking through the jungle as Hiccup used his Inferno to cut through the leaves and vines while Toothless and Midnight walked with them from the sides, constantly keeping their eyes open.
"Okay, keep a lookout for the Snaptrapper. Remember, it looks like a giant flower to trick its prey." Hiccup advice.
"And remember, if you smell chocolate, that means it's close." Hicca added. "But don't fall for its tricks." She quickly pointed out.
"Relax Hicca, you're talking to the trickiest trick masters in all the Archipelago," Ruffnut said as she and Tuffnut put their backs against each other with their arms crossed.
"Nothing can trick us masters." Tuffnut added proudly.
"We tricked you guys after you Loki-ed us and the others on Loki day." Hiccup reminds in a deadpanned tone while Hicca places her hands on her hips while smirking at them.
The Thorston twins just stood there with wide eyes as they remembered when the Riders Loki-ed them back for Loki-ing them all day long.
"Well, you caught us by surprise that day and taught us about not going full Loki." Tuffnut said sheepishly.
"Y-yeah. We were just surprised by those tricks you guys gave us." Ruffnut added in agreement.
"If you say so." Hiccup said dully.
"Just try not to get eaten too fast, alright?" Hicca told them.
The Thorston Twins looked up, "Now why would we do that, when you should be telling that to yourselves?" Ruffnut asked.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Hicca questioned.
"Ahem, behind you?" Tuffnut cleared his throat and pointed dully.
The Haddock twins turned and widened their eyes as they saw, looping up from behind the trees, were four yellowish-green snake-like heads, with their lower jaws split in two.
"The Snaptrapper." Hiccup said in breath.
"Right there." Hicca said a little quietly while in shock.
Toothless and Midnight leapt between the four twins and the four-headed dragon, growling warningly at it.
"Wow, that thing really does have four heads." Ruffnut said in awed.
"Awesome." Tuffnut said with a wide smile.
'Well, well, well fellas. What have we got here?' One of the Snaptrapper heads asked.
'Looks like a quartet of trespassers and two Night furies.' The second head snarled.
'Never tasted one of those before.' The third head growled, hungrily.
'I call dibs on the girl with the funny horns.' The fourth head said, looking at Tuffnut.
"Uh, is it just me or is that one looking at me funny?" Tuffnut asked, pointing to the fourth head.
"I don't think it's just you." Hicca said as she noticed the other look at either Toothless and Midnight. "They're eyeing Toothless and Midnight as well."
The four heads then opened their jaws as their stamen-like tongues stuck out as a sweet smelling aroma came from their mouths.
"And apparently, they look hungry." Hiccup said nervously.
Toothless and Midnight prepared to fire their plasma blasts but then stopped as the aroma entered their nostrils.
'You smell that, Toothless?' Midnight warbled.
'Yeah, and it smells good…' Toothless said as his and Midnight pupils became slits.
"Uh, Toothless?" Hiccup asked in concern.
"Midnight, are you alright?" Hicca asked in concern as well.
The two Night Furies didn't respond as they slowly walked toward the Snaptrapper, as if they were hypnotized.
"Wait, guys, what are you doing?!" Hiccup asked in surprise as he and his sister ran towards their NIght Furies.
Hicca went up to Midnight as she grabbed her head. "Agh! They're walking towards the Snaptrapper for some reason!" She called out as she tried to push her dragon back.
Hiccup tried to push Toothless back before he smelled the air as he then realized something. "The Snaptrapper! It's his breath." He yelled.
Hicca smelled it as well. "The smell of chocolate must be drawing our dragons in!" She added as she noticed what her brother was saying.
"We gotta snap them out of it somehow!" Hiccup called out as their dragons were drawing close to the Snaptrapper.
"Never fear! The Thorstons are here!" Tuffnut declared as he and Ruffnut pulled out some fake eels, "Hey Snappy! Eat this!" He said as the two threw the eels at the Dragon.
'Eels!' The four-headed dragon yelled out in panic as it backed away from the two fake eels, not knowing that they were just a fake.
Their panic stopped them from releasing any more sweet smell which broke Toothless and Midnight out of their trance as their pupils widened.
'Huh, what?' Toothless warbled in confusion.
'Where am I?' Midnight wondered, shaking her head.
"Wow, for once your pranks did something good today." Hicca said in surprise.
"Thank you." Ruffnut said with a smile.
"But compliments later, let's just find a way to get that venom." Hiccup called out as the Snaptrapper realized it had been tricked.
'They tricked us!' One of the heads yelled.
'No one deceives a Devious Snaptrapper!' The second head snarled.
"We gotta try and get it to calm down!" Hicca called out.
"How exactly?" Ruff asked as the Snaptrapper snapped its jaws at them.
"Well, we can figure that out later," Hicca said as they backed away, "For now, I suggest we run!"
"Agreed!" Hiccup called out as the four twins and the two Night Furies ran off with the Snaptrapper chased after them.
One of the heads then fired a blast of acid at them as they ducked and it burned through a tree.
"It spits acid!?" Tuffnut exclaimed.
"Yes it can!" Hiccup yelled. "They can sting their foes and even melt through metal with their acids, something which Barf and Belch can't do!" He quickly explained.
"They're kind of like a Zippleback crossed with a Changewing!" Hicca yelled.
"That is like a great combo!" Ruffnut cheered.
"That is one combo dragon!" Tuffnut added.
"Just keep running!" Hiccup yelled as they kept going with the Snaptrapper behind their tails.

In another part of Flytrap Jungle, Astrid and Henry are picking up the ingredients that Hicca wrote down for them as they search and pick the right ones they need.
"It's a good thing Hicca wrote down the list for each of us to make sure we get the right ones." Henry said with a small smile.
"Considering we don't know a cure for a Hideous Zippleback dragon when it loses its gas and spark, she thinks ahead." Astrid said in an impressive tone.
"Well, you told me you guys didn't know what's the cure for Monstrous Nightmare when Hicca told me that Hookfang lost its flames a couple of years back before I met you guys." Henry said with a shrug.
"Good point." Astrid coincides as she then has a thought. "Hey, I wonder what those four twins are doing?" She asked in curiosity.
"From what Hicca told me what her and her brother went to, I say the Thorston muttonheads are driving them crazy." Henry said, a little playful.
"After the many pranks they endured, I'm surprised Hiccup and Hicca hadn't snapped by now." Astrid said with a small smile at how the Haddock twins hadn't snapped at the Thorston twins yet.
"Well, with Barf and Belch on the line, I think the Thorston twins are taking this seriously for once for their dragon." Henry said with a shrug.
"Well, that's rare for them from time to time." Astrid commented. "But knowing them, they are probably in trouble by now." She guessed.
"What makes you say that?" Henry asked.
Just then, they heard a loud roar and some screaming from two certain twins and a familiar Night Fury roar that sounded like two.
"Call it a hunch." Astrid simply said.
"Good point. Let's go then!" Henry called out as the two mounted their dragons and flew off to the source of the sound.

Back on the Edge, Raeda and the boys were trying to make Barf and Belch as comfortable as they could.
"Wow, and I thought Hooky had it bad when he was under the weather." Snotlout commented on the condition Barf and Belch were in as it reminded him of his dragon when Hookfang lost his ability to flame up.
"Well, unlike Monstrous Nightmares, the Zipplebacks lose their ability to defend themselves and can get sick if they aren't cured and regain their fire." Fishlegs explained. "Sorta like a cold."
"Which is why these guys need that cure and fast, the thing about Mystery class dragons is that even their welfare is a mystery." Raeda added.
Barf and Belch growled sickly as they tried to stand up, but then they gave a sneeze as they sprayed mucus out.
"Watch out!" Raeda yelled as she and Fishlegs jumped out of the way.
"Agh!" Snotlout yelped as he didn't have time to duck before Barf and Belch's mucus came out.
Fishlegs and Raeda got out from their hiding places as they then saw Snotlout covered in dragon mucus, giving an annoying expression as he growled.
The two Vikings tried to contain their laughter, but couldn't as they burst out laughing at the unlucky Jorgenson boy.
"Ahahaha! I guess they called you 'Snot'-lout for a reason!" Raeda joked as she laughed even harder.
Fishlegs laughed so hard, he leaned against a table. "Oh Thor, that is so in Snotlout's name!" He added as he slammed a fist on the table.
Snotlout growled. "Oh very funny you two. And no, it's not in my name!" He yelled out.
"Your name is Snotlout! Snot in the name, snot is your game!" Raeda joked as she laughed even more as she fell to the ground while clutching her stomach. "Oh Thor, my stomach is about to burst into laughter!"
"Oh hahaha. Very funny you two." Snotlout sarcastically said as he grew even more annoying. "Should've taken my chances with that four-headed dragon." He grumbled.

Back on Flytrap Jungle, the Thorston and Haddock twins are still trying to lose the Snaptrapper but the dragon was a lot more agile than they assumed.
"Okay, I can't believe we forgot the part where the Snaptrapper is flexible!" Hicca called out.
"Their ambush predators! How could we know they were good at chasing prey down too?!" Hiccup added.
"Four heads seemed to think really well together when they put their minds to it!" Hicca pointed out.
"Uh, we hate to break up this little sibling banter, which is a lot coming from us…" Tuffnut started.
"But how about we find some way to get the venom from this dragon or we'll become a Snap Snack!" Ruffnut yelled out.
"We just need a way to get on its good side!" Hiccup told them.
"But what could possibl-Eeeeiyah!" Hicca suddenly screamed as they accidentally walked onto a mudslide and slid all the way down towards a mud pond.
They landed in the mud pond as they got up, while covered in mud. "Oh, just our luck." Hiccup groaned.
"As if being pranked by you guys, your dragon is sick, we got a venus-fly-trap dragon chasing us was bad enough, now we're covered in mud." Hicca said in annoyed as she looked over herself while she was completely covered in mud.
"Uh, yeah well it just got even worse." Ruffnut said nervously as the Snaptrapper had found them and was standing at the edge of the pond.
"You're right, it just got worse." Hicca muttered.
Before the Snaptrapper was about to attack them, it looked down at the mud in curiosity.
'Hey boys, is this what I think it is?' One of the Snaptrapper heads squawked.
'I think it is.' The second head answered.
'And it looks like they're already on it.' The third head noted, looking at the four humans and two Night Furies.
'Well then there's just one thing to do,' The fourth head growled as the other heads nodded and they backed up a bit.
The four twins and the two Night Furies are confused by this. "Uh, what are they doing?" Tuffnut asked.
"I think we're about to find out!" Hicca exclaimed as the Snaptrapper charged and jumped.
'MUD BATH!' The fourth heads roared and belly flopped in the mud as it created a big mud splash.
The four twins and two Night Furies are now completely covered in mud again as Toothless and Midnight grumbled.
'Seriously, again?' Toothless warbled.
'I am going to take an extra bath when we get back.' Midnight warbled next as she shook some mud off her.
As the four teens wiped the mud from their eyes they were surprised to see the Snaptrapper rolling around in the mud happily.
"Umm, what's it doing?" Ruffnut asked in surprise.
"I think it's playing." Hicca answered, looking amazed.
Hiccup scratched his head, "Huh, apparently the Snaptrapper loves a good mud bath." He said.
"Who doesn't?" Tuffnut asked with a grin.
"I guess it's not just rain they enjoy, they also like something that is earthy and wet." Hicca said with a little chuckle.
"Which is known as mud baths." Hiccup finished.
The Snaptrapper kept rolling in the mud as it could while grumbling happily.
Just then, Henry and Astrid came flying by on their dragons as they looked down and saw the four twins and their Night Furies, while also surprised to see them covered in mud while also seeing the Snaptrapper playing in it.
"Uh, did we miss something here?" Astrid asked them uncertainty.
"It's a long story," Hiccup explained before gesturing to the Snaptrapper, "In the meantime, meet our new friends uhh…Grabber." he named the first head.
"Snapper..." Hicca said next as she named the second head.
"Chomper and…" Ruffnut named the third head before turning to her brother.
Tuffnut looked at the fourth head before coming up with the perfect name, "...Fred!" He said.
The others, except for Ruff, looked at Tuffnut in confusion when he named that. "Fred?" Hiccup asked in confusion.
"Yeah, what were you expecting?" Tuffnut asked.
"I don't know, how about, Trapper?" Hicca suggested.
Tuffnut however frowned, "Oh sure, I guess that could work, if it was your head you named." He countered.
"Okay, fine. It's your head, which is not there in your own head." Hicca muttered the last part so Tuffnut couldn't hear as his brother heard it as he chuckled a bit.
"Okay, so did you get the venom?" Henry asked.
"Not yet, but we're about to." Hicca answered as she went to Midnight's satchel and grabbed a jar as she went up to Snapper's head as she gently touched it. "It's okay, fella, or fellas, I don't know how to say it for your case. You think we can get some of your venom, please?" She asked calmly to the Snaptrapper.
'Sure thing. We do owe you guys an apology for chasing you.' Snapper said as he opened his mouth and some green ooze dripped from his teeth.
"Okay, we got the venom." Hicca announces to the others before turning to Snapper. "Thanks big fella." She thanked as she rubbed Snapper's head as Snapper purred.
"Great! So do you guys have the other ingredients?" Hiccup called out to Henry and Astrid.
"Got every single one from Hicca's list." Astrid called out to them as she and Henry lifted up their bags full of ingredients.
"When we heard the roars and screaming, we thought you guys could use a little help. But it looks like you don't need it." Henry said with a chuckle.
"Haha, let's just get back to the Edge and get Barf and Belch their medicine." Hicca told her boyfriend.
"Then let's hurry!" Tuffnut called out as he climbed on Toothless while Ruffnut climbed on Midnight.
"But on one condition…" Hicca quickly added, which made them confused before she continued. "You two stop with this stupid mischief game once and for all." She added.
"What?!" The Thorston twins called out in surprise as the two Night Furies smirked, finding this a perfect opportunity for them to stop with their pranks.
"Hicca's right you two." Hiccup said in agreement with a slight smirk. "We're growing tired from all the pranks and tricks you both pulled on us, trying to see which Nut is the best mischief, and it's driving us crazy, even Toothless and Midnight had enough." He pointed out.
Toothless and Midnight warbled in agreement with a snort at the Thorston twins on their backs as they growled.
"But-" Tuffnut started.
"But-" Ruffnut continued.
"No buts." Hiccup firmly said.
"Either you stop this game, or let your dragon be sick for a while, which we both know that you two won't want that." Hicca stated.
The Thorston twins looked conflicted, whether they wanted to continue their contest, but they couldn't let their dragon suffer from the sickness so they gave a defeated sigh.
"Okay, fine. You both win." Tuffnut said to the Haddock twins in defeat.
"The best Nut Contest is off." Ruffnut said, waving a hanky.
Hiccup and Hicca looked at each other with smug smiles on their faces as they each gave each other a fist bump while Toothless and Midnight gave dragon-like chuckles, glad that this ridiculous game was over.
"Okay, let's saddle up and return to the Edge to cure Barf and Belch." Hiccup said as he and his sister made their way to their dragon.
"Dragon Riders, let's ride… And maybe take a bath as well." Hicca commented as she gestured to both herself, her brother, the Thorston twins and the two Night Furies covered in mud as they all gave a short laugh before they mounted up and took off, leaving the Snaptrapper to enjoy its time in the mud.

Sometime later, back in the Edge, and after taking a quick bath, they are all gathered in the stables as Hicca then walks in, holding up two bowls with some liquid contents in them.
"The cure is ready." Hicca said as she walked toward Barf and Belch. "Okay you two, time to take your medicines." She said as she kneeled down to the two-headed dragon.
Barf and Belch weakly opened their mouths as Hicca poured each bowl into their mouths, which made them gagged a bit from the taste as they stuck their tongues out.
The Riders all waited to see if the cure was taking any effect.
"Uh, shouldn't something happen by now?" Tuffnut asked.
"Give it time, Tuff. Like Hookfang, it takes a little time to work." Hicca advised.
The Thorston Twins went up to their dragon, looking hopeful as Barf and Belch moaned a bit and slowly rose to their feet.
'Oh, that feels good.' Barf growled.
'I feel like a million gold pieces.' Belch roared.
"Barf, Belch, are you two okay?" Tuffnut asked in concern.
"Can you gas or light again?" Ruffnut added.
Barf then let out a cloud of gas that covered the floor.
Hicca then realized something, "Wait, wait, wait! Belch don't-" She tried to warn but was too late as Belch sparked the gas and a huge explosion erupted in the stables.
The smoke cleared up as the Riders were covered in soot as Hicca coughed. "Spark." She wheezed.
"Oh yeah!" Tuffnut cheered.
"Barf and Belch are back!" Ruffnut declared, the Thorston twins being the only ones oblivious to the explosion as they hugged their dragon.
"Good for them." Astrid grumbled.
"I think I like them better when they just sneeze." Snotlout muttered.
"At least they are feeling better and the Thorston twins' game is finished." Hiccup said with a small sigh.
"At least there's one good thing about it." Hicca said with a chuckle.
"By the way guys, you guys heard that Barf and Belch sneezed on Snotlout and he was covered in mucus?" Raeda asked with a smirk.
"Wait, seriously?" Astrid asked with a smirk.
"Oh my Thor?" Snotlout muttered.
"Oh he did. Barf and Belch led out a sneeze so big, it covered Snotlout completely." Fishlegs said with a laugh.
"Can we please move on?" Snotlout asked quickly, wanting to move past this.
"Not until we hear what they have to say next." Henry said with a smirk.
"What else do you guys find funny about it?" Hiccup asked with a small smile as her sister smirked with her hands on her hips.
"You know his name is Snotlout, right?" Raeda asked the others, nodding. "'Snot'-lout. Snot his name, snot his game!" She called out as she and Fishlegs got into another laughing fit.
"Oh Thor, that is so funny!" Astrid laughed as she couldn't help herself as she, the Haddock twins and Henry laughed with the Henderson girl and the Ingerman.
"Oh my Thor, that is so funny! How could we not notice that!" Hicca laughed as she held her stomach.
"Oh that is really funny, I can't believe we didn't call him that before!" Hiccup laughed as well as he and Hicca held onto each other.
"Oh, I'm going to keep that name in my head for now on!" Henry laughed as well.
"That is hilarious!" Tuffnut laughed.
"So fitting and funny!" Ruffnut laughed as well.
Snotlout, being the only one who isn't laughing, stood there in irritation as he folded his arms. "Shut up, guys!" He grumbled as the others kept laughing, having a great laugh from what they've been to all day as it was just another day on the Edge.
