So, this is a moment for Marcy to spend some time with her monster companion, Scorcher the Rathalos. There's gonna be a lot of surprises for them when this little Rathalos spends time with them, and whatever comes next for this little draconic monster. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 833: A day spend with Rathalos.
(November 18. Royal Woods Middle School.)
The school bell has rung, and that means school is done for the day and they have to be ready for school again tomorrow, and a lot of the students here have some plans for this month of November. Coming out of the school is none other than Marcy, the gal they saved from her near death from Amphibia months ago, and she is looking quite positive about this day.
Marcy is happy because of two things...
The 1st one: That damned nerd named Jonah Orland hasn't been taking notice of her and has been watched over by the other staff members of the school and some heavy duty surveillance system and he has been attending a lot of detention time and a lot of the students don't wanna deal with him.
FutureTech has applied some Burst Drone surveillance to watch over this kid and what he does and even his parents are on watch after what they're son has been revealed to truly be. The parents are trying to regain trust and forgiveness for what their son did in being perverted and sick, but that's hard to do.
So the actions of that boy has left a bad mark for himself and his family, and pretty much they might end up becoming outcasts and end up moving, and no one would care if they did move away. Because a lot of the girls and women are still furious from this boy and his pictures of them in their private time.
The 2nd one: Marcy got a text message from her mom, Michelle. A message that came before the bell rang, and it said that she had to be ready for what is to come and that is something that Marcy is looking forward to.
Marcy is headed out of the school and then she sees something, her friends Lincoln, Linka, Jordan and the others and all of them are looking at something that is above the school and in the sky and she goes towards them. "Hey guys, so what the heck are you all doing? Also, what are you all looking at?"
They all point to something in the sky and so Marcy turns around and her eyes go wide and what she sees. "Wait, what?!" Right there, flying towards them is the young Rathalos that Marcy has been given to raise, and... The little guy is now flying! Wait what?!
Marcy watches as the little Rathalos keeps flying and is trying his best not to lose balance and he burps some small flames and then flies towards Marcy and makes small roaring sounds, and the Netherdrakes are so confused by this.
Even the Tiger Tank with Leon and Sergei stops and the duo open the hatches and sees this. "Wait, that thing can fly now?!" asked Leon. "When?!"
Sergei then has this idea. "Hmmm, chances that the little thing learned as time went on, or through the use of chasing butterflies from the back of the Spellman-Lewis mansion, that's way too obvious. Am I right there, Marcy?"
Marcy nods and then she goes towards the young Rathalos and it lands in her arms and makes a small and cute roaring sound and Marcy is in tears and she smiles. "Oh, Scorcher! You're growing up and learning!" She then hugs the juvenile Rathalos. "I am so proud of you!"
Everyone else is surprised by this and they all go over and see this little draconic monster and seeing how incredible it looks up close, this is the first time they are seeing this little beast, and they just hear what Marcy says about it and what she does when helping it learn stuff.
As they all enjoy the time checking on the little Rathalos, Marcy then has an idea and she tells all of them. "Well, now I know what I'm gonna do with Scorcher. We're gonna go and check out Tall Timbers Park, time for you to see what the rest of the world is all about."
Lincoln, Linka and Jordan smile hearing this and then Linka speaks. "We trust you with the choice Marcy, we know you can help keep him under control and away from doing harm. This little guy is smart and he is learning too."
Marcy smiles and she looks to the others. "You can all come and hang out with us!" They all cheer and they all head to their bike, while the others head to the Netherdrakes and the Indoraptor. While Marcy rides on the Netherdrake with Linka, and they all take off for Tall Timbers Park.
Marcy smiles and then she sees Scorcher flying with them and keeping up, and this makes her smile. 'Dang, did not see this coming. I wonder how mom handled this little guy when he flew.'
Leon and Sergei see this and they both choose to drive off back to the Spellman-Hell Mansion, and also inform Neil and the others about this, that the juvenile Rathalos is now learning to fly and it's flying. This is something the Guardian needs to know as well.
While they all leave the school, the nerd who made trouble named Jonah Orland sees this and he is spiteful at them. 'When I am finished with my plans, then I shall unleash it and then claim Marcy Wu Lewis Spellman, and she won't be related to those people anymore and she will love me.'
The nerd then sees the car of his mom and so he goes over and he gets inside and they drive back home and he ends up hearing how upset his mom is from what day she had, and she is still upset at her son and his actions which caused them to be all in deep trouble, but Jonah ignores her and focuses on his own plan, to take Marcy Wu from everyone.
(Tall Timbers Park.)
We now see Marcy in the park, and she is walking alongside the juvenile Rathalos that is now following her as it hovers above her head and the little guy looks around and seems happy to be here, the Rathalos is now outside from the perimeter of Royal Dawn and is now here amongst the others of the town of Royal Woods.
Marcy watches her little draconic monster flying around her and she smiles. 'Well, looks like my plans on teaching this little guy to fly are all scrapped up. I was gonna teach him how to fly just like how I taught Joe Sparrow... Dang, I miss Joe Sparrow.'
She then continues to walk off with her little Rathalos and the others watch this as all of them are by the bench and all of them share some words about the little Rathalos and all of them are fascinated and think the little thing is so cool.
Clyde. "Dang, for a dragon he sure looked adorable. Is that thing a dragon?"
Lance. "Not a dragon dude. That was a Rathalos, a juvenile Rathalos from the video game called Monster Hunter, and that thing is iconic man."
Trent. "We have played the game and we also try to fight that thing, and it is not easy, I mean sure the smaller ones are dangerous, but the grownups are ten times worse."
Artie. "The beast is something to face when they are grownup and aggressive, they hate a lot of stuff that dares come into their territory and they will deliver a whole lot of hurt to anyone or anything."
Linka. "Yeah, we did face the legit one once and it was one tough beast to take down and we had to track down the weakness and thank goodness the guardian knew the beast and the weaknesses."
Jordan. "Glad we don't have to face another grownup Rathalos, they are so tough and so dangerous to handle. Even ice barely worked because it was so smart, but this one with Marcy... Scorcher is different and with Marcy by his side, the things will be alright with all of us."
Cookie. "A lot of folks are gonna be amazed when they see that little dragon monster grow to the size of the Netherdrakes."
Aggie. "I can't wait to see what he will be when he grows up, I can tell that Scorcher has a good monster heart."
Liam. "I tell ya what fellas, you don't see that little guy around and I am happy it's around and reminds me of the day we met Arlo long ago."
Zach. "For a minute there, I thought the Rathalos was some kind of alien."
They all groan at the thing that Zach said, seriously? An alien dude?
Lincoln smiles seeing them all excited and happy for seeing the Rathalos and then he looks to Marcy as she walks down the path towards a tree, and with her juvenile Rathalos following. 'Well, looks like Marcy is about to raise herself one tough, dangerous and powerful monster. Let's hope she can raise him, but this is Marcy... If she can raise a giant sparrow, then a Rathalos might not be a challenge.'
Marcy continues her walk, and then has an idea. "See you at the top buddy." She pets the head of the juvenile Rathalos and then she begins to climb the tree and the Rathalos smiles and so he also does the same and he leaps from branch to branch and he keeps up with Marcy.
The duo race each other to the top and Marcy chuckles and laughs as she enjoys this small race of climbing, just her and the juvenile Rathalos and they both race to the top of the tallest tree of Tall Timbers Park.
(Note: That is not the tallest tree in Tall Timbers Park.)
Marcy then makes it to the top of the tree and she smiles as she looks around the Park and how large it is and she takes a deep breath and smiles at what she now sees ahead of her, and what could be coming for them soon in the future.
'Soon, when time does come and gives me the chance... I will return to Amphibia, I will save my friends and I will make it up to them for my actions... Then, I am taking down King Andreas and making sure that everything he did is paid for, to avenge everything we have been through.'
Scorcher pops out and arrives and then he lands on her head and this makes Marcy chuckle and giggle and then she holds the juvenile Rathalos in her arms and he licks her face and this makes her smile, and she places a small kiss on his forehead and this makes the juvenile Rathalos smile as well.
They then look ahead of them to the rest of the Park, the Park located within Royal Woods, Michigan. The Temporary home of Marcy and her Rathalos, Scorcher. They're both looking forward to what happens next.

A/N: Well, looks like the little Rathalos is now growing up and learning something and that something is flying, almost like a natural instinct kicked into overdrive, and a whole lot more is inbound for what comes next for this large draconic monster from another world, and someone is still watching Marcy from the shadows.
