Winter is here, Christmas is days away and so much more is coming, and one of them is Marcy and her small trip someplace else, alongside her Rathalos, Lincoln, Linka and they're Netherdrakes. A world from which her old friend once resided, so much is changing and more to come, from crossovers to returning to worlds they have been through before. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 842: December be thy Dragons.
(December 1. Spellman-Lewis Estate.)
Seems like a calm and peaceful day and right now the three dragons are located in the front of the mansion, and those dragons are the two Netherdrakes: Nel'Thorious and Shall'Cross and the Rathalos known as Scorcher and all three of them look like they are talking to each other about where they are going. Then the door of the mansion opens and coming out are their riders.
Linka A. Spellman, Lincoln Spellman and Marcy Wu Lewis Spellman. The winged fire breathing beasts stand fast and they have their saddles ready on their backs, and then Michelle follows them as they leave the mansion. "You guys know what to do, right?"
Marcy goes on the saddle of her Rathalos and she nods. "We know what to do mom, we're just gonna go and check out the other world of the whole dragon training thing, and we're gonna be fine. Nothing bad is going to happen."
Lincoln also agrees with her. "Marcy has a point, and we are skilled and trained for combat, we can take on some dragon hunters and trappers if they try something dumb."
Linka then checks her saddle and she pets her Netherdrakes head. "Also, I doubt Dragon Hunters and Trappers can even take down beasts that they don't know. We'll be the ones sending them running but we're not gonna fight them. We're gonna steer clear of those folks and just cruise through the skies in peace."
Michelle nods. "Well, alright. But be home soon and be safe. Take care you guys." She then watches as a portal is opened and Lincoln made that using Mjolnir.
"Thank you, Guardian!" Lincoln then looks to Marcy and Linka. "Alright, let's take to the skies and fly with the dragons!" They also cheer and yell, and the Rathalos and Netherdrakes roar and they begin to flap their wings, and then they all race through the portal and it closes.
(In another world.)
The portal opens from above and coming through are the three winged beasts, and they are dive bombing out of the portal, the riders are not even flinching and they take in the feeling of the breeze passing by them, and their dragons stick their tongues out and they are loving this moment!
Marcy, Lincoln and Linka smirk and then at the last moment they open their wings and they make it back in flight and they are now gliding above the water, and this makes them chuckle and feel the adrenaline rushing through them when doing this.
As they are gliding above the water, Marcy notices something. "Guys, pull up. e got company!"
They then pull up and spot two species of waterborne dragons flying in the water, even though it is swimming it does look like flying. Marcy is surprised to see this. "Whoa! Now those are awesome and amazing!"
Linka then looks around. "Guys, we're not alone." Lincoln and Marcy look around and the Netherdrakes and Rathalos are surprised by what they see, a massive group of Dragons flying by them and each one is a different species and all of them are just dang fascinating.
Monstrous Nightmare.
Is a dragon from the Stoker class of dragons, The Monstrous Nightmare is one of the most aggressive, powerful, and stubborn dragons. The Monstrous Nightmare can light itself on fire it's coated in a gel that ables the dragon to light itself on fire. The chosen diet of the Monstrous Nightmare is Fish. The Monstrous Nightmare's weakness it getting pushed too hard to point of exhausted.
Typhoomerang.
Is a Stoker Class dragon and they have a unique ability during flight: they rotate at high speeds, zooming through the air, though, as they rotate, they seem to pop off the objects around them, making them extremely dangerous. Ash from their burning takeoffs leaves a distinctive burn on the ground. The ash apparently acts as a fertilizer; plants and flowers may grow in the burn mark afterwards. They are the only dragon known to prey on eels.
Timberjack.
Is a large Sharp-Class dragon with huge wings! Native to dense, wooded area, Timberjacks are acutely sensitive creatures that prefer the peace and solace found in their beloved forests. But don't let their introspective demeanor fool you. When attacked, betrayed or offended, Timberjacks will start flailing their expansive wings, whose edges are razor-sharp — sharp enough to shear through the thickest tree trunk and still not slow down a Timberjack's flight. Those huge wings do more than just chop trees.
Thunderdrum.
Instead of breathing fire, the Thunderdrum produces a strong, concussive sound that can kill a human at close range. The blast is so powerful that the dragon is said to "get its power from Thor himself". Legend also has it that when the Thunderdrum hatches from its egg, it makes a sound so loud it rattles the sky.
When not swelling its body up to yell, Thunderdrums can actually flatten their body by expelling all oxygen from their massive lungs for a limited period of time. In this sleeker state, Thunderdrums can better skim the ocean surface or even dive beneath the waves in search of prey.
Scauldron.
Is a water type dragon, It can shoot out Scalding water which it can hold in its mouth, which makes it look like a pelican holding water. It loves Blue oleander, the toxic flower that's harmful to dragons, but is not effected by its toxin. It also has venom that is the cure for Blue oleander. This dragon gets its name by its cauldron like belly and its scalding water that it shoots as previously mentioned.
Seeing all the dragons flying by them and making their migration, this is something that is making Marcy's eyes sparkle and Lincoln and Linka notice this and they know one thing about what that could mean. 'Yup, she is now digging into this stick.' The dragons soon fly by them, and they head someplace else to avoid the winter coming to the lands.
They continue their amazing flight together, and then Marcy with her Rathalos does another spine flight and then dive, and then Scorcher opens his wings and they are back in flight, and this makes Marcy chuckle. She then stops and sees something from the distance, she then uses her mask and the goggles to see what is seen from the distance.
"Guys, pull up higher. Village inbound, we can't let them harm the Rathalos and the Netherdrakes!" Lincoln and Linka also see this, and they have their dragons maneuver and they fly higher into the sky and they make it out of range from the village, but since they are high in the sky it means one thing.
Linka smiles. "Guys, no flapping. Rest easy and glide." They all nod and they're Dragons stop flapping and they let the wind carry them and keep steady. The Rathalos and the Netherdrakes feel so relaxed when doing this, it makes them feel free and alive when this happens.
Deep down, Scorcher feels like this is what it feels like, to be the Light Fury he never got to know much, and even though Moonlight is no longer with them, it feels like he is flying with Scorcher and the Rathalos and Marcy look to some of the clouds and they feel as if the spirit of the Light fury they know is with them, flying alongside them and keeping an eye on them, like a guardian angel.
As they continue their steady glide around the world from which these dragons reside, they are unaware of the island they have flown by and the folks there are surprised to see three strange new dragons. The citizens are Vikings and they have never seen such dragons before.
The place they have flown by is called New Berk, and the leader of the Vikings look onward and is amazed by the three strange new dragons, the leader of the village is named: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III.
He watches on as the dragons are high above and he looks to what is on their backs and sees children riding them. This makes him smile. 'Well, what do you know, looks like there are still some dragon riders out there, and that is one big...' He then sees his friend on the tree. "Fishlegs, what are you doing?"
Fishlegs is on a tree, and he is taking down some notes and trying to draw the new dragons. "Going to see what those are!" But then the branch snaps and Fishlegs falls and he lands on top of Snotlout. "I'm okay."
Hiccup smirks at the sight of this and he goes over and he helps his two friends, and while this goes on the three dragons fly off, away from the Island of New Berk, possibly never to be seen again.
