Chapter 72: Loyal Order of Ingerman
It was a nice peaceful day on Dragons Edge, at least it was until Fishlegs came flying on Meatlug screaming.
"Hiccup! Hicca!" Fishlegs cried.
The Haddock twins were currently in the clubhouse showing everyone the Dragon Fury Eye and explaining the new features he had installed.
"As you can see I balance the weight using Gronckle Iron so it's lighter and easier to carry," Hiccup explained.
"And we also made room into the holder where the lenses go. To see if we can extend it and have more room for them, which is paying off for the King of Dragon's lenses." Hicca explained next.
"Hiccup! Hicca!" Fishlegs cried as he flew in and nearly slammed into them.
The Haddock twins quickly ducked just in time to avoid him. "Oh. Hey, Fishlegs. We were just going over some of the new features on the Dragon Fury Eye." Hiccup said.
"So what's the rush? You seem to be in a hurry?" Hicca asked in confusion.
"You both are not gonna believe what I discovered in Oswald's papers." Fishlegs said frantically as he held his research on the papers. "Okay, I was in my hand preparing my lesson plan for the Dragon Explorers campout." He explained.
"The Rookies?" Henry asked.
"Dragon Explorers? Here? Soon?" Snotlout groaned. "Great. A bunch of kids invading the island. Ugh, I'm starting to miss those Changewings." He moaned as Camo came up to him and nuzzled his chest.
'Thanks man.' Camo purred.
"Aww, Camo's starting to grow on you Snotpants, congrats." Valerie joked while Astrid snickered at Snotlout's new nickname.
Snotlout growled, "I told you not to call me that." He warned.
"Anyway, the DragonExplorers are not just kids, Snotlout." Fishlegs said sternly. "They're our future Dragon Riders."
"If they ever wanna grow up to be Dragon Riders, they gotta learn from the pros." Raeda added in defense.
Tuffnut then immediately snatched the book in Fishlegs' hand and began looking through it with his sister, Snotlout and Valerie.
"Hey, wait a minute," Tuffnut said looking a bit disappointed. "Where's the Hideous Zippleback badge?" He asked.
"Travesty!" Ruffnut said, looking at Fishlegs disgusted.
Snotlout then took the book from him. "And the Gronckle badge is the highest rank? Ha! Yeah, right."
Valerie then looked at the book, "Hey, why's the Changewing badge the lowest rank?" She asked as she gave Fishlegs a glare.
Hicca deadpanned at Fishlegs, "Fishlegs, didn't I ask you to make sure the badge ranking was unbiased and fair for all dragons?" She asked dully.
Fishlegs smiled sheepishly, "Okay, maybe I was playing favorites when making this." He admitted. "But can you blame me? The Gronckle is-"
"Your favorite, we know." Hiccup interrupted, "But you gotta remember, we're not doing to get kids to favorite one dragon over the other, it's to teach them to love and respect all dragons." He continued.
"You really need to edit that book guide, Fishlegs." Henry said with a bored expression.
"Yeah, especially since the Night Fury is so low on the rankings?" Raeda commented while looking at the book.
The Haddock twins' eyes widened, "What?!" They said before turning to the nervous Ingerman boy, "Fishlegs!"
Fishlegs flinched as he nearly dropped his papers as Toothless and Midnight glared at him as well while bearing their teeths with growls. "Uh, okay, maybe I should've made the Night Fury second best?" He suggested nervously with a squeak.
"Should I even ask where the Deadly Nadder badge is on the ranking?" Astrid asked while crossing her arms.
"Or the Monstrous Nightmare Badge?" Snotlout asked with a look.
"And what about the Snifflehunch, Eggbiter, Thornridge and Sand Wraith badges?" Henry continued.
"Okay, okay I get it! I was being totally unfair to your dragons!" Fishlegs said in exasperation. "I promise I will reorganize the badge ranking later, but right now I need to tell you what I found right now!"
The Haddock twins just sigh from this as they look at Fishlegs wondering why he was looking so frantic. "Fishlegs, what are you trying to say earlier? You found something in Oswald's papers?" Hiccup asked, getting back on topic.
"Yeah, you came up here in a rush. Not to mention all that research you're holding." Hicca pointed out.
"Oh, it's horrible, guys." Fishlegs said as he placed his papers down onto the table. "Worse than horrible. I… I can't even say it."
"Well, just take a deep—" Hiccup tried to say.
"Generations ago, my ancestors were Dragon Hunters!" Fishlegs cried and then immediately grasped as if what he said was painful.
The Haddock twins' eyes widened. "What?" Hiccup asked.
"Your family line were Dragon Hunters?" Hicca asked in shock.
"No way." Henry said in breath. "Are you serious?" He asked in shock.
Fishlegs then pulled out a parchment and showed it to them. On the parchment were sketches of dragons and different traps, but the most noticeable thing on the parchment was the Ingerman family crest in the corner.
"They called themselves the Loyal Order of Ingerman," Fishlegs explained, gesturing to the crest. "They decimated the Dramillion dragons, pushing them to the brink of extinction. Who would do that?"
"And I thought my family was a mess with this whole Dragon Hunting business." Henry said in surprise as he can relate to Fishlegs since his family is a mess as well.
"Not as much as The Ingermans," Snotlout answered. "I mean, after Fishface said the Ingermans, I assumed that the Ingermans were a huge mess."
"Snotlout!" Hicca scolded.
"Oh…" Fishlegs groaned.
"This was a long time ago, Fishlegs," Hiccup said, trying to comfort him.
Raeda nodded in agreement. "And I think everyone in this room can safely say without a doubt that their ancestors actually killed dragons, we were at war with them 300 years ago." She said, remembering before them dragon killing was very accepted.
"Everything I thought my family name stood for is destroyed," Fishlegs groaned. "What am I gonna do, Hiccup? Dragon hunting is in my genes. It's a part of me." He then sat down on a stool looking extremely depressed. "I'm doomed."
Henry walked up to him, "Fishlegs, take it from the guy whose dad is the biggest Dragon hunting jerk in or out the Archipelago, no one is doomed to anything because of their family." He told him before gesturing to the papers, "What these guys did has nothing to do with you, have you ever killed a dragon before now?"
"No." Fishlegs said a bit glumly.
"There you go, since you don't have that drive to kill dragons then you aren't a Hunter." Henry smiled, "So, don't let this get you down, alright?"
Fishlegs sighed, "I'll try." He said.
Hicca smiled, "Great, now you can get to work on something even more important."
"What?" Fishlegs asked in confusion.
Hicca then held up a book and pencil, "Rewriting an unbiased and fair dragon badge ranking." She told him.
Fishlegs widened his eyes in surprise as he then gave a groan. "Alright, fine." He said in defeat as he grabbed the pencil and book as he began rewriting the whole rankings as the others gave small laughter to him.

Later that night, Fishlegs found himself wandering the forest and was approaching Meatlug as she began eating rocks.
"There you are, dragon," said Fishlegs.
Meatlug then turned around and saw Fishlegs standing over her holding an ax in his hand. "A hearty meal for a hungry Hunter."
He then performed a battle cry as he raised his arms preparing to strike Meatlug.
Fishlegs then suddenly shot up upright screaming covered in sweat, it only took a few seconds to realize that he was having a nightmare. His screams were so loud that Meatlug awoke and looked at him with a concerned look.
Immediately, Fishlegs looked at her. "Oh! Oh, I'm sorry, girl." He then immediately hugged her. "I'm so sorry."
'Don't apologize.' Meatlug growled comfortingly.

The next morning, the Riders were watching as Fishlegs was turning the clubhouse inside out as he began looking through Oswald's papers and the Dragon Fury Eye.
"Oh, come on, come on, come on." Fishlegs said frantically. "It's got to be here somewhere. Come on, Fishlegs, find it!"
The Haddock twins looked at the others. "He's been at this for hours." Hiccup said.
"He's been flipping through papers all day trying to find any trace of the Dramillion." Hicca explained.
"He seems pretty upset," Astrid noted.
"Well, think about it—the guy who loves dragons more than anything else in the entire world found out that he comes from a long line of bloodthirsty dragon killers," Snotlout pointed out. "I mean, if that's not iconic, I don't know what is."
Raeda rolled her eyes as Astrid glared at him. "You mean ironic." They both said.
Valerie looked at the others, "What does he think he can find, didn't he say the Dramillion were all wiped out? As in dead, gone, sleeping with the fishes, goodbye forever?" She asked.
"That's what we thought with the Buffalord, but we found one that is still alive on an island." Henry pointed out.
Valerie turned to them in surprise. "A Buffalord is still alive?" She asked in surprise.
"Long story, mostly starts with Astrid getting the Scourge of Odin." Raeda said, jerking a thumb to Astrid.
"Ugh, don't remind me." Astrid said with a shudder, never forgetting when she caught the Scourge of Odin and nearly died from it.
"Oh, I found it!" Fishlegs cried in triumph. He then immediately turned to the Haddock twins excitedly. "Hiccup, Hicca, look! I reference what I found in Oswald's papers with the Book of Dragons. Then used a map lenses on the Dragon Eye Two—"
"Blah, blah." Snotlout said, doing a mouth gesture in his hand. "What did you find?"
"Dramillion Island," said Fishlegs transfixed.
The Haddock twins, Astrid and Henry were looking at the map but that the Dragon Fury Eye was showing.
Hiccup, however, looked as if he had his doubts. "Huh. We've scouted some of these islands, Fishlegs. There's not much out there."
"Nothing but the occasional Nadder or the odd Typhoomerang." Hicca added.
"But what if I'm right?" Fishlegs asked. "What if there are Dramillions left? I have to make sure they're okay."
Hiccup and Hicca tried to stop him. "Fishlegs…" Hiccup started.
"If we leave now, we can make it by dusk." Fishlegs said as he grabbed his papers from the table.
"What about the Dragon Explorers?" Hiccup asked.
"Yeah, Fishlegs. They're coming tomorrow." Hicca pointed out.
"They need their leader, Fishlegs." Astrid smiled.
"And they'll be extremely disappointed if you don't show." Henry added.
The Haddock twins then approached Fishlegs calmly. "We're sorry, but we're gonna have to wait to check out Dramillion Island." Hiccup said.
"Yeah. The Dragon Explorers really need you to be there for them to lead." Hicca agreed.
Fishlegs gave the Haddock twins a pleading look. "Hiccup, Hicca…"
Tuffnut was still looking at Fishlegs' Dragon Explorers book and laughed. "Gronckle badge—as if that was a thing."
"At least this new list isn't showing any hate for Changewings." Valerie commented with a smile.
Fishlegs then got an idea.

Later that night, Fishlegs went to visit the Thorston twins and Valerie, who are sharing their hut with her since her hut was still being built and she was really good with pranks and she didn't mind living with them until it's finished, but he stopped himself before he knocked on the door.
"I can't do it." Fishlegs said, looking at Meatlug. "It's just not responsible." He then shook his head and stood firm. "No! No! I have to do it! How can I be expected to shape young minds knowing my ancestors were dragon killers? It's completely hypocritical."
He then reached out to knock on the door, but then pulled his hand back. "I can't do it." He then turned and looked at Meatlug. "Uh, what should I do, Meatlug? What?"
Then suddenly the door opened and struck him in the rear causing him to fall onto the wooden boards. He looked up and screamed, because standing in front of him were the Thorston twins and Chicken, all of them wearing blindfolds that resembled a Hideous Zippleback's eye while Valerie was wearing a Changewing blindfold.
Tuffnut then lifted his blindfold up and looked at him. "Whatever you're doing, do it faster."
"Yeah," Ruffnut agreed as she lifted her blindfold up. "You just ruined a perfectly good nightmare."
"Fishlegs, what is it you want to talk about late at night?" Valerie asked tiredly as she lifted up her blindfold as well.
"Oh. Hi," said Fishlegs nervously as the Thorston twins put the blindfolds back on. "Okay, listen, I'm going to Dramillion Island."
"Oh, sure you are," Tuffnut yawned as Ruffnut began closing the door. "Nighty-night, shellfishlegs."
Fishlegs then immediately went down on his hands and knees looking at them through the crack in the door as it closed. "Seriously. I'm going… right now."
"Wait, are you going against Hiccup and Hicca's orders?" Valerie asked in surprise.
Fishlegs sighs as he takes a breath. "Yes I am, Valerie." He answered.
A split second later, the Thorston twins opened the doors back up and removed the blindfolds. Then they immediately grabbed him and pulled him inside and he screamed.
Fishlegs then suddenly found himself sitting opposite a table with Valerie next to him and the Thorston twins were approaching him dramatically.
"Taking off in the dark of the night, hmm?" Tuffnut asked, as he paced up and down.
"Totally alone and without Hiccup and Hicca's approval?" Ruffnut asked, looking intrigued.
"While also abandoning your duty to the Dragon Explorers." Valerie added before giving a chuckle, "Gotta say FL, never took you for being such a rebel."
"Well…" Then the two Thorston then immediately lifted their arms up and looked at him with stupid grins, "You have our approval, 'cause this is awesome."
They then immediately sat down and looked at Fishlegs.
"I need you to watch the Dragon Explorers for me until I get back," Fishlegs instructed. "Can you?"
"No problem, my soon-to-be disgraced, amigo," Tuffnut said with a Spanish accent. "You got the right Nuts for the job."
"Stamp of approval," Ruffnut nodded.
"You know we can cover for you, Fishlegs." Valerie added with a smile.
"Okay, but don't do anything with them." said Fishlegs strictly to the Thorston Twins.
"Hey!" Ruffnut yelled in outrage.
"How could you?" said Tuffnut looking hurt.
"Don't show 'em anything. Thor forbid, don't try to teach 'em anything!" Fishlegs pleaded.
Valerie raised her hands, "Fishleg, it sounds to me you only want the Explorers to learn things your way, aka the Gronckles-are-the-best-dragon way." She accused him.
Fishlegs then look at her while giving an insulted expression. "No!" He denied but the three gave him deadpanned looks and he then turned sheepish, "Yes."
"Fishlegs, don't you think it's best these Rookies learn how all dragons are amazing? Even the ones that aren't your favorites?" Valerie asked with a smile.
"Fishlegs, how about you leave this to us. For each of us who knows dragons of our own like Ruff and Tuff with Zipplebacks and me with Changewings, I think we can handle sharing this info with the Dragon Explorers." Valerie assured.
Fishlegs gave a sigh. "Okay, good point. Just make sure they don't get into any trouble." He said.
"Don't worry, Fishlegs. We'll make sure they aren't in any danger." Valerie assured with a smile. "I may love pranks but when it comes to teaching the new generation, I take it seriously." She added.
The Thorston twins however were looking at each other mischievously.
"I'll be back before they get here," Fishlegs assured as he got to his feet. "Most likely. I probably won't even find anything."
Fishlegs soon left the hut and mounted Meatlug and then took off. However, unbeknownst to him watching from afar was both Astrid and Henry and they both looked at one another.

The next morning, the Haddock twins were at the stables as Gobber appeared with the Dragon Explorers in tow. There were a total of three of them, all of them blonde, Shrug, whose hair completely covered his eyes, Brant and Brenda, who was the only one not wearing a helmet, the only girl among them.
"Hold on tight, little ones," Gobber said as the children cling on to him for dear life. "Grump is known for his hard landings."
"Are you sure about this, Gobber?" Brenda asked nervously.
"Let the Dragon do the work, Gobber." Brant pleaded.
"Nice and easy," Gobber said as he guided Grump to the stables. However, the way they were moving was a bit unstable. "Bit easier."
"Oh, Toothless! Midnight!" The Haddock twins cried as they immediately ducked and Toothless and Midnight shielded them with their wings.
The children screamed as they flew directly over them, but Grump then landed gently on the ground. All the children then gave up a sigh of relief, please to finally be on stable ground.
"Perfect four-point landing, Grump."Gobber said cheerfully he then immediately tapped each and every one of the children on the heads. "Couldn't have done it better myself."
Grump growled. 'I tried my best.' He growled.
Gobber chuckled as he looked at Hiccup and Hicca. "I figured I give 'em a bit of a thrill."
"We can see that, Gobber." Hicca said with a chuckle.
"Welcome to the Edge, Dragon Explorers," Hiccup said with open arms. "We're going to…"
The Dragon Explorers then immediately jumped off Grump and immediately dashed over towards Toothless and Midnight.
"Toothless! Midnight!" Brant cried.
"Toothless! Midnight!" Brenda yelled.
"…pet Toothless and Midnight apparently," Hiccup sighed.
"Toothless and Midnight are in for a kid fest now." Hicca said with a sigh.
"Not to worry," Gobber assured. "They're good kids. Shouldn't be any trouble at all. I'll be back in a few days to pick 'em up." He then immediately looked at the children. "You listen to Hiccup and Hicca, now."
The children were too busy playing with Toothless and Midnight to listen and judging from Toothless' face he wasn't exactly enjoying himself as they all called over him while Midnight just had Brenda on her as she gave a dragon-like smile while chuckling at her mate.
The Haddock twins waved Gobber goodbye as he took off and then made their way over towards the kids, who were still playing with Toothless and Midnight as Brenda gently stroked Midnight's wing and Shrug played with Toothless' tailfin.
"Okay, hey, uh, you guys hungry? We have some fresh yak stew." Hiccup offered.
"Where's Fishlegs?" Brant asked as he pulled on Toothless' head flaps, which made Toothless go wide-eyed at his head flaps being pulled as Midnight chuckled at her mate getting that kind attention.
"Now, that is an excellent question." Hiccup said, looking very troubled as he hadn't seen him all day.
"He should've been here for your greeting by now." Hicca said, looking troubled as well.
"He's gone." Snotlout said as he, Raeda, Valerie and the Thorston twins opened the stable doors. "When are you both gonna learn that nobody listens to you two?"
"He went out to check the island he mentioned yesterday." Raeda said with a sigh.
"He went to Dramillion Island?!" Hicca exclaimed.
"Yep. He really did." Valerie answered with a shrug.
"Fishlegs is gone?" Brant moaned.
"What about us?" Brenda asked.
"We want Fishlegs!" They both cried and Shrug merely shook his hand with very little enthusiasm. "We want Fishlegs! We want Fishlegs!"
The Haddock twins could tell in an instant that things were going to go out of hand.
"This is gonna be harder than we thought." Hicca said with a facepalm.
Tuffnut then rushed forwards. "Have no fear, my fearful leader, because Fishlegs left us in charge."
"What?" Hiccup roared. "No, wait, why would he ever do that?"
"Yeah, that's a tall order, even for Fishlegs standards." Hicca pointed out in shock.
"Sorry, but he came to us to cover him while he's gone." Valerie said in defense.
Ruffnut looked at the kids. "Follow us, Explorers! Adventure awaits!"
The children then immediately jumped off of Toothless and Midnight and rushed after the Thorston twins and Valerie enthusiastically, well all except for Shrug.
"Yeah, yeah! We love adventure!" Brant cried.
Toothless was immensely relieved now that the children were off of him and toppled over completely exhausted while Midnight looked at her mate in amusement.
'Reminds you of the time when we took care of our kids, huh?' Midnight cooed with a smirk.
'Our kids never tried to rip me apart like Speed Stingers on a Carcass.' Toothless moaned, 'And I thought Torch was a hassle.' He added as Midnight gave a chuckle and nuzzled Toothless in comfort
Hiccup, Hicca, Raeda and Snotlout watched Shrug for a few seconds as he walked past them and Snotlout leaned on Hiccup's shoulder.
"Stings, huh?" Snotlout said with a chuckle. "I know the feeling."
Hiccup then removed himself from Snotlout, who fell face first into the ground.
Hicca then notices a couple of Vikings are missing. "Hey, Fishlegs isn't the only one that's missing. Where's Astrid and Henry?" She asked as they looked around for the two other Vikings.

Meanwhile, Fishlegs had arrived at Dramillion Island and began his search for Dramillions.
"No tracks," Fishlegs said as he examined the ground as he walked. "No molted scales. No dragon droppings."
He then heard a distant cry that sounded awfully like a dragon and he approached Fishlegs. "Shh. Watering hole. Come on."
Fishlegs made his way to a raging waterfall that was pounding a small lagoon and he carefully made his way to the bushes. However, when he removed the branches he witnessed only a sheep which merely baa at him.
"Well, I guess this was a giant waste of time," Fishlegs sighed.
He then immediately looked at him frightened and began to back away slowly.
Fishlegs frowned. "What's wrong with him?" He wondered.
The sheep then immediately ran off and Fishlegs heard a noise directly behind him. He slowly turned around and standing right behind him was a dragon. The way that its body was positioned was similar to that of a Deadly Nadder, but it had a pair of small arms with two claws at the end of each limb. It had a short thick neck and a small head. Its upper jaw resembles the beak of a parrot, while the lower jaw is more round and full of small teeth. It had three spikes on its head, which were asymmetrically placed. Its wings were medium-sized, with a claw on each of them. It had only a few sharp spikes on its back, and it has a long tail that ends with a large fin.
Fishlegs immediately recognised it as a Dramillion and then it roared at him. 'You are Ingerman!'
"A Dramillion!" Fishlegs cried out excitedly. "They're-they're not extinct!" However his enthusiasm quickly melted away when he realized that he was in danger. "They're not extinct! No!"
Meatlug then quickly grabbed Fishlegs and flew him to safety before the Dramillion fired a lava blast at him. Meatlug dropped Fishlegs down and immediately snarled at the Dramillion, which was looking at them quite aggressively.
"W-why is it so aggressive?" Fishlegs asked.
The Dramillion growled angrily at Fishlegs, who then began to scoot away from it. "Oh, it knows. It knows I'm an Ingerman." He feared.
The Dramillion then fired a lava blast and Meatlug quickly countered with her own lava blast and the two attacks collided. She then immediately charged at the Dramillion at full speed.
"Oh! Be careful, girl!" Fishlegs pleaded.
Meatlug then pounced on the Dramillion, but it rolled back onto its tail and then using its body like a springboard it tossed Meatlug into the lagoon.
"Meatlug!" Fishlegs cried.
The Dramillion then immediately turned its eyes back onto Fishlegs with a vengeance.
Fishlegs try to remain as calm as possible. "Okay, okay. I can see you're very upset."
Then as he backed away he immediately tripped on a stone and fell on his back. The Dramillion then roared at him and charged and Fishlegs screamed. However, two bursts of flames then immediately slammed into the Dramillions path and Fishlegs looked up to see both Astrid and HEnry flying down towards him.
"Clear out, Fishlegs!" Astrid yelled.
"That if you don't want to be that dragon's is lunch!" Henry yelled.
Astrid then guided Stormfly around and immediately faced the Dramillion. "Fire!"
Stormfly then fired more bursts of flames directly at the Dramillion as it went after Fishlegs. Henry came about the other way doing the exact same thing with Wildstar, which allowed Fishlegs to reach Meatlug safely and amounted her.
The moment he was mounted they immediately took off into the air, but then the Dramillion turned on them and fired a magnesium styled breath attack towards them.
"What?" Astrid starred as it headed straight towards her.
She then quickly performed an evasive maneuver to avoid getting blasted, but the Dramillion had taken to the air and was now directly on her trail.
Fishlegs stared at it in wonder. "It has a lava blast, fire blast and a magnesium blast? That's incredible!"
Henry just shook his head in amazement. "I've never known a dragon to have multiple flame attacks in all my life."
"Fight, now, geek out later!" Astrid yelled at the two of them.
The two of them turned and saw the Dramillion launching a vast array of lava blasts and magnesium blasts at them. Quickly the three of them immediately perform some evasive maneuvers to avoid getting hit.
"Set to stun." Fishlegs instructed. "We don't want to hurt him!"
Henry looked at the Dramillion. "Somehow I don't think that's going to be a problem since this dragon is so tough."
"Stormfly, fire!" Astrid ordered.
"Wildstar, let loose!" Henry yelled.
Astrid and Henry then fired their respective fire breath attacks on the Dramillion with a little help from Meatlug's lava blast. The Dramillion avoided both Astrid and Henry's attacks, but got struck in the chest by Fishlegs' lava blast. It then crashed into the ground and for a moment Fishlegs was worried whether he had killed it, but it got back onto its feet and roared at them and immediately ran into the forest.
Fishlegs then immediately landed on the ground and just stared where the Dramillion had disappeared to. "Oh, I've never seen anything like that. Multiple attacks! Hiccup and Hicca are gonna—" He then stopped himself when he saw Astrid and Henry folding their arms and giving him a look. "Were they really mad that I left?"
Astrid sighed as she approached him. "If they were, they'd be mad at all of us."
"Yeah, we kinda snuck out to follow you without them knowing." Henry added as he approached Fishlegs as well. "So we're all in the stables when we get back."
"Thanks guys," Fishlegs smiled.
Henry shrugged. "We merely decided that you needed some backup. Plus I'm also interested in the Dramillion, though I imagine that Hicca and her brother will be more annoyed that we didn't take them with us since they are known for discovering new dragons like you, Fishlegs."
Fishlegs gave a sheepish chuckle. "Yeah, that is so true. Kinda feel bad for them for missing it." He admitted.
"Let's just focus on the here and now." Astrid advised and she immediately turned to Fishlegs. "Okay, you've seen one. Now what?"
"We know that the Dramillion isn't extinct." Fishlegs said, rubbing his chin. "Now we need to make sure they're not endangered. He's probably heading back to his pack. We should follow him."
Fishlegs then immediately ran off leaving a bewildered Astrid and Henry behind.
"So now we're looking for a pack of aggressive dragons with multiple attacks?" Astrid deduced.
"Yeah, Fishlegs. This dragon can mimic any attacks from any dragon. How can we counter those?" Henry asked as well.
Fishlegs looked at her beaming. "Isn't it great? Come on."
Henry chuckled a bit and smiled. "At least his enthusiasm hasn't dampened." He said as he ran off. "Come on. Let's make sure he doesn't get killed." He called out.
Astrid then watched as she immediately ran after Henry and groaned. "Boys."

Meanwhile, on Dragon's Edge, the Thorston twins and Valerie are following Fishlegs instructions and begin to teach them in their own way.
"Listen up, tiny future Vikings." Tuffnut said. He then immediately gestured to Barf and Belch. "The Zippleback is a mystery class dragon known for its evasive, cunning behavior and totally insane gas explosions." He explained.
"Much like us." Ruffnut said.
Tuffnut looked at them. "Do you think you have what it takes to earn your Zippleback badge?" He asked them.
Brenda frowned in confusion. "Fishlegs says the Gronckle badge is the highest rank an Explorer can earn. I've spent half my life working for it." She said.
"Well, then that's half of your life wasted, isn't it?" Ruffnut said bluntly.
"Ruff!" Valerie scolded with a firm look as Ruffnut raised her hands in defense before turning to the Explorers again. "What they're trying to say is that Fishlegs was being a little biased about Gronckles being the best," She told them as the three looked horrified, "Now don't get wrong, the Gronckle is definitely cool, but there other dragons there are just as cool in their own way. To be a great Dragon Rider you need to learn what makes every dragon the best." She explained.
"How?" Brant asked in confusion.
Valerie tapped her chin, "Well for starters, Night Furies like Toothless can fly faster than any Gronckle." She started as the kids 'ooh'd, "Deadly Nadders like Sparkfire can shoot venomous quills from their tails, and Changewings like Camo here, can blend into any environment."
To demonstrate Camo turned invisible and visible before them, "Whoa, cool!" Brant said.
"Wow, how could a dragon like that be at the bottom of the ranking?" Brenda said with a smile.
Valerie chuckled, "Fishlegs was trying hard to convince the Gronckle was the only real good dragon you could ride." She told them.
"Now that you understand the Gronckle isn't the only awesome dragon, it's time to learn!" Tuffnut then leaned over towards Shrug. "What's your name, Explorer? And what is your position in this badge-hierarchy debacle?"
"Oh, that's Shrug," Brant answered. "He doesn't say much."
Shrug then shrugged.
"Uh, named with a literal thing. Nice." Valerie commented.
Tuffnut then leaned back and looked at all of them. "All right, listen here. If you're going to be our Zipple Scouts, then the first thing you need to do is forget the teachings of one Fishlegs Ingerman." He then immediately held out Fishlegs' Dragon Explorer book and then placed it in a bunch of firewood, he then looked up at Barf and Belch. "Fired will, my gaseous compadres."
'You, got it.' Barf growled and then immediately spewed gas onto the firewood and Belch ignited it causing a large explosion which exploded writing on the kids' faces. As a result all of them were coughing and now their faces were covered in soot.
"Wow," Shrug said as he pulled his hair back and looked at the carnage.
Valerie turned to Tuff, "A little warning would've been nice ya know." She said as Tuff held up his hands nervously before turning to the Explorers..
"That, my little Zipple Scouts, is Zippleback gas." Tuffnut explained. "Rule number one, a little is never enough. Rule number two, a Zipple Scout is devious. A Zipple Scout is sneaky. A Zipple—"
"Who wants to be devious and sneaky?" Brenda frowned.
The Thorston twins immediately gasped in horror. "Who doesn't want to be devious and sneaky?" Ruffnut asked, looking insulted.
"Us." Brenda and Brant both said at the same time as they raised their hands.
"Duh." Brenda said.
"Duh? That's the best you got, Brenda?" Tuffnut asked, looking extremely disappointed. Ruffnut then pulled her brother and Valerie around so that they could talk in private. "Ugh. It's worse than I thought. He's completely brainwashed them."
"Fishlegs spent all his time teaching them only to love Gronckes, what'd you expect?" Valerie told him.
"It's up to us to un-brainwashed them." Ruffnut declared.
"We must teach them the way of the Zippleback and Changewings," Tuffnut said.
"And other dragons too." Valerie said, as much as she wants them to learn about Changewings, she also wanted them to know other dragons.
"Oh yeah, and other dragons too." Tuffnut added.
The children were looking at one another when they suddenly heard a pssting sound coming from the bushes.
They turned and saw Snotlout sticking his head out. "Hey, don't listen to those two Zippleback clowns. If you have the guts, follow me to get your Monstrous Nightmare badge. It's way cooler." He told them.
"Mm-hmm," A voice said.
Snotlout turned and saw Tuffnut looking at him with his arms folded. "I thought I smelt the stink of a Jorgenson."
"Snotlout, what are you doing here?" Valerie asked in confusion.
What does it look like? I'm here to teach these kids how awesome Monstrous Nightmares are." Snotlout explained.
Snotlout got up and noticed Ruffnut looking at him equally as furious as her brother. "Stop spoiling the minds of our Zipple Scouts." She told him.
Valerie then snuck over to the three kids and kneeled before them, "Ready for some fun? There might even be a Changewing badge along the way." She asked cheekily as the three smiled and nodded eagerly.
Snotlout folded his arms and looked at where the Explorers and Valerie were. "All right, well why don't we just ask them what they want to be, rather than forcing them to be Zipple Scouts." He asked.
That's when they first noticed that the Explorers and Valerie were now gone and they looked at each other completely horrified.
Snotlout chuckled nervously. "Where'd they go?" He asked knowing if Fishlegs found out about this they'd be in big trouble.

Meanwhile on Dramillion Island, Fishlegs was still tracking the Dramillion in the hopes of finding its pack. Astrid and Henry followed closely behind and they were all preparing for the worst.
"Based upon the Dramillion's teeth, I'd say they're omnivores." Fishlegs deduced. "Maybe I can plant some of their favorite berries or even build them a feeding station."
"Fishlegs, you don't have to prove anything to anyone," Astrid sighed.
Henry nodded in agreement. "It's like Raeda said before, every one of our families have killed dragons during the Dragon War. It's only now that we've actually stopped killing them and decided to work together with them. Like how I refused to be with the Dragon Hunters when my father started his empire." He reminded them.
"Then you understand what I'm going through." Fishlegs said strongly. "My ancestors were Dragon Hunters."
Astrid then placed a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, but you're not. Nobody cares more about dragons than you." She told him.
"Yeah. Apart from the Haddocks that is." Henry quickly added.
"True," Astrid nodded. "But all three of you guys are neck and neck."
"Besides this could easily have been a splinter group or renegades in your family, you're probably not even directly descended to them. Compared to me being related to Viggo, I don't share his hunger to hunt dragons." Henry explained.
Fishlegs looked at the two of them. "When I was a kid, I was never the best in battle training, and I was never the best in weapons testing, but that didn't matter to me, because I was an Ingerman. We were kind, caring, and intelligent. Being an Ingerman stood for something." He told them.
They then immediately stopped when they heard voices on the other side of the gorge and Fishlegs immediately dropped to the ground.
"Get down!" Fishlegs said as he dragged Henry and Astrid onto the ground as well.
They crawl their way to the edge of the gorge and that's when they saw some housing structures.
"Who is that?" Astrid asked.
"Dragon Hunters. Looks like the new ones know of the heritage of their business." Henry said while giving a glare at them.
Fishleg immediately grabbed his spyglass and saw a bunch of Dragon Hunters rounding several Dramillions into cages and what was worse they had manacles on their tails.
Fishlegs gasped. "Guys, they're hunting Dramillions. It's still going on." He said in horror.

Meanwhile on Dragons Edge, Snotlout and the Thorston twins were trying to find the Explorers and Valerie. Thankfully they were able to find their tracks and began following them. They then saw the tracks led them to a large bush covered with thorns.
Tuffnut immediately examined it and pulled out one of the thorns. "Ugh, stickle thorns. Loki's favorite bush."
Snotlout snorted. "Nightmare Scouts would have no problem getting through there."
Tuffnut snorted back. "Neither would a Zipple Scout." He then turned to his sister. "Come on, Ruffnut, let's show him how it's done."
"Good teachers always go the extra mile." Ruffnut nodded.
The two Thorstons then bent down and began crawling their way through the bush, but they ended up getting struck by the forms every which way they went. Snotlout smiled as they cried out in pain every few seconds.
"Oh! Ow, my elbow! Ooh, the chin!" Tuffnut cried.
"Oh, my Thor!" Ruffnut cried.
"Oh, you guys are so easy it makes me feel bad," Snotlout smirked and immediately went around the bush and crawled through an opening through some logs.
In seconds he emerged from the other side completely unharmed and looked up at the twins who were covered in cuts.
"Snotlout!" Snotlout said smugly as he got to his feet and folded his arms.
Ruffnut chuckled. "Nightmare Scouts must love poison oak, 'cause you just crawled through a whole…"
Suddenly Snotlout screamed as all over his body rashes appeared and he immediately began scratching them uncontrollably.
A split second later a plasma blast destroyed the logs that Snotlout crawled through and standing there not looking too pleased was Hiccup and Hicca.
"Guys!" Hiccup said.
"What is going on here?! And where are the Dragon Explorers and Valerie?!" Hicca called out sternly.
Snotlout and the Thorston twins immediately stopped in fear.
From the bushes, Valerie and the Explorers hid from them. She then turned to the three, "Classic Changewing hunting ambush, have part of the pack lure the prey up ahead where the rest we'll greet them with a world of trouble." Valerie told them.
"Wow, Changewings are really smart." Brant said with a smile. "What's next?"
"Now, we wait and watch the drama unfold." Valerie said as they watched the Haddock Twin prepare to chew the Thor out of the three muttonheads.

At Dramillion Island, Astrid was telling their dragons to stay back as they began to examine the Hunters in the gorge.
"Just look at them, guys, all those poor dragons." Fishlegs said, feeling absolutely helpless.
A Dramillion was trying to free itself from its cage, but then the Hunter Captain immediately approached it.
"Quiet!" The Hunter Captain snapped as he stabbed the dragon with his spear. "You should be happy in those cages. When we let you out, the new recruits are gonna hunt you down one by one."
Fishlegs looked at the others. "New recruits?"
Astrid nodded. "This is a training ground for Hunters."
Realization then immediately dawned on Henry as he slapped his head. "Of course! The Dramillions are capable of mimicking the fire power of other dragons, which makes them perfect training dragons for hunters, to know how to react to which kind of fire. And with their tails manacled, they can't fly away." He said.
"These guys are smart, just like Ingermans." Fishlegs said.
"Wait a minute." Astrid said. "We don't know if these Hunters have any connection to the past." She pointed out.
Henry nodded. "Yeah. For all we know they might not have anything to do with the Ingermans."
The Hunter Captain then immediately spoke out to the new recruits. "For generations, Hunters have learned the trade using the Ingerman Method. To our founder, Ingar Ingerman!" He declared gesturing to a very large statue of someone that had an uncanny resemblance to Fishlegs. He just stood there over the head of a Dramillion and on his belt buckle he wore the Ingerman family crest and had a battle ax leaning against his shoulder.
The Hunter then immediately replaced their helmets with helmets that resembled Fishlegs'. "Ingar Ingerman! Ingar Ingerman!" They chanted.
Fishlegs just looked utterly horrified. "Ingar." He gasped out.
Henry looked confused, "Wait who's Ingar Ingerman?" He asked.
"He was a member of Fishlegs' family who was banished from Berk Centuries ago." Astrid explained. "Everyone thought he died at sea, but it looks like they were wrong."
Fishlegs answered. "There are very few records of him, my family rarely talks about him saying that he brought disrespect upon our clan." He said sadly.
The Hunters then immediately began singing:
An Ingerman's shot is fine and true,
With axes in hand we'll run them through;
No Dragon has heart like our finest few,
We're Hunters!
We're Hunters!
We're Hunters till the end!
Immediately they all cheered and that's when Fishlegs and the others noticed the Dramillion they met earlier sneaking its way into the camp.
Fishlegs gasped. "He's trying to rescue his pack. I have to help him!" He said.
Astrid then immediately grabbed him. "No! You'll break our cover." She told him.
Henry looked at him sympathetically. "Fishlegs, I know how you feel, but if we just jump in there without a plan, we could easily endanger the Dramillions more quicker than before." He pointed out.
The Dramillion managed to reach one of the cages and began to fumble with a lock, but the Hunter Captain noticed it when he replaced his helmet.
"Dramillion!" The Hunter Captain roared pointing his ax at it.
Two Hunters immediately tried to grab the Dramillion, but it spun around and knocked the two Hunters into a cage. More Hunters appeared with their weapons raised and when the Dramillion's back was turned the immediately placed a manacled onto its tail.
The Dramillion was about to file a lava blast at the Hunter, but then another Hunter managed to lasso its mouth closing it shut and a second Hunter did the same. Together they immediately pulled it down to the ground and it tried frantically to free itself.
"Ah, he probably followed us." Fishlegs groaned. "I led him right to the Hunters." He then immediately sat on the ground and covered his face. "Ingar Ingerman would have been so proud."
"Fishlegs, can you not compare yourself to your ancestor?" Henry told him, "You said it yourself, this guy was a disgrace to your family, he's proof that the order of Ingerman are nothing but a smear on your family's honor.." He reasoned.
They then watched as the Hunters dragged the Dramillion away.
"We need a plan." Astrid said.
Fishlegs, however, did not wait as he immediately charged into the encampment.
"Wait, Fishlegs. Fishlegs, don't!" Astrid pleaded.
"Apparently Ingermans are as stubborn as Haddocks!" Henry said in annoyance.
"Let that dragon go!" Fishlegs demanded the hunters.
The Hunters immediately turned around and looked at him.
The Hunter Captain looked directly at him. "On whose authority?" He questioned.
"Mine." Fishlegs answered fiercely.
"And who might you be?"
"I am Fishlegs, Fishlegs Ingerman." Fishlegs then looked directly at all the Hunters. "That's right, I'm an Ingerman!"
The Hunter Captain looked at the Hunters. "He says he's an Ingerman!" He laughed and they all followed his example, "I suppose you're also related to the mighty Thor! And perhaps olden himself!" The Hunter Captain mocked earning some more laughter.
"Apparently, I think my father must've not realized that Fishlegs is the descendant of one of the original founders of the Dragon Hunters." Henry said in annoyance.
Astrid then smirks, "Guess he's not as smart as he claims." She said.
Henry gave a chuckle from her joke. "Yeah, I guess that is true." He said with a small smile.
Then while they were busy laughing the Dramillion managed to snap through the ropes and immediately spun around knocking the Hunters off their feet with its tail. He then immediately tried to fly off and Fishlegs ducked out of the way as it flew over his head. However, due to the manacles and its tail it immediately fell to the ground almost immediately.
"Archers!" The Captain ordered.
The Hunters immediately grabbed they're bows and Dragon Root arrows and fired at the Dramillion. The Dramillion quickly made a run to the woods and a few hunters were about to chase after it, but the Captain stopped them.
"Don't worry! We'll get him during the hunt," The Captain told his men. "Then we'll feast on the beast like true Ingermans!"
The Hunters then cheered.
"No!" Fishlegs cried.
Astrid and Henry then immediately appeared out of nowhere and grabbed him.
"Hey! Run!" Astrid called out.
"We have to fall back, Fishlegs!" Henry added as they dragged him away.

Meanwhile the Haddock twins, Midnight and Toothless had joined Snotlout and the Thorston twins as they began looking for the Explorers and Valerie.
"It was in our fault, Hiccup and Hicca." Tuffnut said as his sister began removing thorns from both him and her. "Those little derelicts went rogue. I fear Valerie may have given them such ideas."
Snotlout on the other hand was scratching like mad. "Oh, please! Hicca don't you have something to make this stop?!" He begged.
Hicca gave a chuckle. "I might have some itching cream in Midnight's saddle that could help with the itch." She said as she quickly brought it out and waved tauntingly in front of Snotlout. "If you can find the Dragon Explorers then maybe I'll give it to you." She teased.
"Oh come on!" Snotlout cried out as he kept scratching while Hookfang chuckled at his Rider's torment.
Hiccup shook his head and looked at the three of them. "How is it that five Dragon Riders who have gone head-to-head with Alvin the Treacherous, Dagur the Deranged and Viggo Grimborn can't handle three children from Berk with an orphan Dragon Rider?"
"Yeah, we asked ourselves that question when this happened." Raeda commented dully. "Honestly, I think Fishlegs would've trusted me to help them earn they're Deadly Nadder Badge."
"I think he was in a rush that he never thought of." Hicca said with a thoughtful look. "You know how quickly Fishlegs discovered something and how he wanted to check it out. Like Dark Deep." She recalled.
"Touche." Raeda said in agreement, knowing that is true about Fishlegs.
That's when they saw the wind blowing and a lot of leaves landed on top of them. Hiccup and Hicca then saw Toothless and Midnight acting unusual as if he sensed something in the air.
"What is it, guys?" Hiccup asked.
"You two are feeling, okay?" Hicca asked in concern.
"I'll tell you what it is. Odin's rage!" Tuffnut announced.
"The thousand year storm that wiped every living thing on the planet. Bam!" Ruffnut she called out.
Snotlout then noticed that Hookfang was acting odd as well. "Hookfang." Hookfang then immediately took off. "Hookfang. Hookfang!"
Sparkfire then acted odd as well as she took off with the others. "Sparkfire! Come back!" Raeda called out.
A split second later, Barf and Belch did the exact same thing.
They then heard noises coming from behind the bushes and suddenly flying straight towards them was an entire flock of Night Terrors. Toothless and Midnight immediately tackled the Haddock twins to the ground and the other Riders hit the deck as well as they flew over them.
"Or it's a bunch of stampeding Night Terrors, often mistaken as Odin's rage." Tuffnut quickly corrected.
"We get that, Tuff!" Raeda called out.
"No!" Snotlout cried.
They then heard Brant giggling and all of them looked up as they turned towards the bushes. Then suddenly rushing out were Brenda and Brant and following them with very little enthusiasm was Shrug.
"You!" Ruffnut pointed.
Shrug shrugged and immediately ran after Brenda and Brant.
Just then, Valerie appeared as she had a wide smile on her face. "Wow, I am loving these explorers more and more. They really are fast learners. I'm so proud of them." She said with a proud smile.
"What have you been teaching them?!" Raeda asked.
Valerie raised a hand, "Why how Changewings avoid predators hunting them: Diverting their attention." She explained, "Now if you excuse, we're off to the next part of Changewing Training." She said before running after the explorers.
"All right, we have to wrangle those kids and catch up with Valerie before someone else gets hurt." Hiccup said.
"Do you mean them or the others?" Raeda asked while pointing to the three injured Riders.
Snotlout narrowed his eyes on them. "What do you call these, Hicca? Beauty marks?"
"No, those are itch marks." Hicca answered dully as she sighs. "Here. You deserve the itching cream." She said as she tossed the jar to Snotlout.
Snotlout caught it as he smiled widely. "Oh thank you, Hicca!" He thanked his cousin as he quickly opened it up and started applying some cream on his itchy areas.

At Dramillion Island, Fishlegs and the others were up in the air as they began looking for the Dramillion.
"He could be anywhere, Fishlegs," Astrid pointed out.
"We'll find him." Fishlegs said confidently. "We have to."
"As much as I appreciate the enthusiasm, do we have a plan on what to do to find him? Because if memory serves, Dramillions have a huge grudge on Ingermans for hunting them down for centuries" Henry pointed out.
Before Fishlegs could answer they heard a thumping sound and looked down to find that the Dramillion was bashing its manacled against a tree in an attempt to free himself.
"There!" Fishlegs pointed and immediately dived down.
Astrid and Henry then quickly followed.
Once they landed, Fishlegs attempted to get close to the Dramillion, but it immediately growled at him.
"Stay here." Fishlegs instructed Astrid and Henry as he moved in closer to the Dramillion. He then raised his hand carefully towards the Dramillion. "I'm not gonna hurt you."
The Dramillion then immediately growled angrily at him and Fishlegs quickly backed away. "Okay, okay. I know why you're scared. I would be, too." Fishlegs then extended his hand closer towards it. "You just have to trust me."
The Dramillion roared at him even louder this time. 'Why should I trust an Ingerman!?'
Meatlug then immediately pounced and growled at it. 'He's not like the others!'
Fishlegs look to the others. "He thinks I'm one of them. How do I make him believe?"
Astrid then got an idea. "Your helmet! It looks just like the Hunters'." She said.
Henry then clapped his hands together. "Of course, they must wear those helmets when they're out hunting, training new recruits. It would also explain why he's not as hostile to me and Astrid since it's not even growling at me since I have the blood of the hunters in me." He realized.
Fishlegs then immediately removed his helmet and faced the Dramillion. The Dramillion snarled at him, but then immediately stopped when Fishlegs tossed his helmet aside. He then immediately began calming down and Fishlegs approached him.
'You're not like the others after all?' The Dramillion asked in surprise.
"You're all right." Fishlegs said calmly and gently. He then slowly extended his hand towards him and looked away. "I'm sorry this happened to you."
Dramillion then placed his snout into Fishlegs' palm and Fishlegs smiled.
"You did it," Astrid smiled.
"Nice going, Fishlegs." Henry cheered.
"Now, let's get this barbaric manacled of your tail," said Fishlegs as he approached the manacles.
Astrid attempted to strike it with her ax, but it was made with reinforced metal. "Ugh. They've reinforced the iron." She said as looked at Stormfly. "All right. Blast it, Stormfly!"
Stormfly and then immediately unleashed her magnesium blast onto the manacles, but it had no effect.
"Oh, it's not Gronckle Iron," Fishlegs cursed.
"Dragon Proof manacles." Henry realizes. "
"We need something to heat the metal and break it down." Fishlegs pointed out.
Henry examined it. "We need to use a combined attack to melt it. Since we know that might work. We just need Stormfly and Meatlug's fire blasts to get it off." He explained.
Fishlegs nodded and looked at Meatlug. "Meatlug, lava blast."
Meatlug then spewed some lava onto the manacles.
"Hit it again, Stormfly," Astrid instructed.
Stormfly then once again unleashed her magnesium blast and this time they were able to destroy it.
"Whoo! Yes!" Fishlegs cheered as he watched the metal melting away.
"We are getting the hang of going through Dragon Proof metal." Henry said with a smile.
All of them then cheered and the Dramillion looked particularly happy that it was now free.
However, they then immediately stopped when they heard the sound of a horn in the distance and they all knew what that represented.
"The hunt," Fishlegs said, horrified.
"It's already started." Henry realized in shock.

At the Dragon Hunter encampment, the Hunters were releasing the Dramillion and forced them to run into the forest. Once they gave the Dramillions a head start they immediately grabbed their weapons.
"Let the hunting begin!" The Hunter Captain declared.
The Hunters then immediately ran past the statue of Ingar Ingerman and tapped the belt buckle as they entered into the forest.
Already one of them had managed to hunt down a Dramillion at the edge of a cliff and was slowly advancing towards it. "Come here, little dragon," he chuckled evilly.
The Dramillion then immediately fired a magnesium blast at the Hunter, who quickly raised his shield to block it. The Hunter, feeling very confident, then immediately charged towards it, but then a plasma blast struck him from behind and fell to the ground.
The plasma blast came from the freed Dramillion and following close behind was Fishlegs and the others. "Hurry, get the manacles off," Fishlegs ordered.
Meatlug then immediately fired a plasma blast at the manacles and then Stormfly struck it with her magnesium blast. The manacles were immediately destroyed, freeing the other Dramillion.
They then heard voices coming from the woods and immediately the two Dramillions took off towards the voices. Fishlegs and the others then quickly took off after them and they saw another Hunter closing in on a never trapped Dramillion in the forest.
"Ah! We're never going to be able to save them all." Fishlegs groaned.
"There's just too many to free all at once!" Henry added.
Then to their total surprise the two Dramillions then dived down towards the third. The first Dramillion struck the Hunter with a plasma blast and soon the two of them landed next to the third. The third Dramillion then immediately spewed lava over the manacles and that was quickly followed by the second magnesium blast destroying it.
"Fishlegs, they're doing it by themselves." Astrid beamed.
Henry watched in amazement. "Clever little guys, aren't they?" He said.
"Incredible." Fishlegs stared in awed.
Soon the Dramillions began to work together taking Hunters down and freeing other Dramillions. With every Dramillion they saved they were able to save faster, until eventually they were all freed.
"With this knowledge, the Dramillions will never again be manacled." Fishlegs beamed at the others.
Astrid smiled at him. "I'd say the Ingerman family legacy has been reversed." She said proudly.
Henry nodded. "And it's all thanks to you. A true son of the Ingerman family line." He declared
"Not quite." said Fishlegs as he turned his gaze to the encampment. "Come on, girl." He said his dragon.
Astrid and Henry then performed battle cries that they followed them towards the encampment and the Dramillions followed suit.
The Hunter Captain soon realized that he was outmatched and immediately made a run for it.
"Meatlug, spew!" Fishlegs ordered.
Meatlug then fired a lava blast down into the encampment and the Dramillions followed suit and began blasting it. Most of the blasts were concentrated on the statue of Ingar Ingerman and it began to melt into molten slag.
"Whoo-hoo! That's right!" Fishlegs cheered enthusiastically. "That's Fishlegs Ingerman for ya!"
The Hunter Captain was running desperately towards his house as quickly as he could.
"Help me, Ingar!" The Captain cried as he rushed into his house. "Help me, Ingar."
The Dramillions then concentrated their fire on the house burning it down to the ground. The Hunter Captain quickly ran out the back entrance, but then fell to the ground when a plasma blast destroyed his house. He quickly picked himself up and ran into the woods as he desperately tried to get away from the vengeful Dramillions.
Once their work was done the Dramillions began to fly off and Fishlegs smiled at the first one they met. The Dramillion acknowledged him and then immediately flew off after the others.

A few hours later on, Dragon's Edge, the Haddock twins and the others were still looking for the Explorers. Hiccup and Hicca then heard a laughter and signal for everyone to stop and they heard whispering coming from behind a tree.
"Okay, yeah, yeah. Shh," A voice said mischievously.
"I think we've found our evasive guests," Hiccup smiled.
"And their prankster teacher." Hicca added with a small smile.
"Or that is one happy tree," Ruffnut said.
"What a bunch of idiots!" Brant's voice said.
"You said it kids." Valerie's voice said next with a chuckle.
Toothless and Midnight approached the tree and then immediately pulled both Brant and Brenda from behind it. Shrug then popped his head out from the side of the tree and waved at them, still without saying a single word while Valerie came out with her hands together.
"Hey guys." Valerie said with a wave. "Changewing training is going like dragon migration." She declared.
"I hope you three have learned your lesson," Tuffnut said, scolding the three Explorers.
"Yes, how not to lead a campout," Hiccup said.
"Or rather, who does not lead a campout at all." Hicca added.
That's when they noticed Fishlegs and the others had returned. The Thorston twins smiled as the Haddock twins approached Fishlegs with a displeasing look on his face.
Fishlegs cleaned his throat and tried to think of the proper words to say.
Hiccup then smiled. "So? Dramillions? How were they?"
"Yeah, are they okay and still around?" Hicca asked with a smile as well.
"Oh amazing, guys." Fishlegs beamed. "You're not gonna believe it."
Henry nodded. "He's right, you need to see them for yourself." He said with a smile.
Snotlout, who was still scratching himself, and the Thorston twins approach them. "Well, well, well, look who finally decided to show up. They're your problem now, Fishface!" He gestured to the three Explorers
The Explorers then immediately rushed over towards Fishlegs. "Did you guys behave yourselves?" He asked, looking at them strictly.
"Yes, uncle Fishlegs," said Brant and Brenda together.
Shrug just shrugged.
Snotlout and the Thorston twins look at them open mouthed.
"Wait, Uncle?" Tuffnut stared.
"Fishlegs!" Ruffnut gasped.
Snotlout groaned. "Ugh, you're Ingermans?" He asked in exasperation.
"Wow, that's a shock. And makes a lot more sense." Raeda said in surprise.
"Now I really like them!" Valerie cheered. "They're rebels like you."
Fishlegs turned to Valerie, "I'm afraid to ask but, what did you teach them?" He asked before Valerie held up a finger.
She then pointed towards Snotlout's hut and suddenly there was a massive explosion and the hut was now flooding with smoke and collapsed slightly.
Snotlout screamed in frustration and horror.
Brant chuckled. "Zippleback gas."
"A little is never enough." Brenda smiled.
"Devious and sneaky/" Shrug said.
"I taught the Changewings greatest weapon: The Art of the Unexpected." Valerie said before looking at the three, "Well Rookies, I'm pleased to say you've earned your Changewing badge with flying colors!"
"Yay!" The three cheered.
Snotlout however looked as if he wanted to murder the four of them. "What? There will be repercussions for this!" He yelled as he ran up to his hut to get it repaired.
The Thorston twins smiled proudly at them.
"Ah, the student has become the teacher," said Tuffnut.
"Makes it all worth it," Ruffnut nodded.
"Well, it looks like you've earned their Zippleback and Changewings badges." Fishlegs said. "Now let's say we can't work on the other, less destructive achievements." He then turned and smiled above Astrid and Henry. "After all, we do have the Ingerman name to think about."
The three of them chuckled slightly.
The three then frowned at Fishlegs, "But uncle Fishlegs, why did you lie to us?" Brenda asked.
"Huh?" Fishlegs said in confusion.
"Yeah, the Gronckle isn't the only dragon that's the best, all dragons are the best!" Brant said, "Toothless is fast, Sparkfire can shoot needle things from her tail and Camo can disappear."
Brenda looked at her uncle with confusion, "Why didn't you ever teach us more about other dragons?" She asked as Shrug nodded.
Fishlegs gave a sheepish look. "Well, in my haste to make this guide, I kinda went overboard with my favorites instead of the others, and that's the Gronckles." He admitted.
"That doesn't sound fair for the other dragons." Brant said.
"Trust me, the others told me about it." Fishlegs said as the others nodded in confirming. "But just yesterday, I wrote down a new guide that will be fair for all dragons. And I'm going to teach you every single one for you three to become future Dragon Riders to be prepared for all dragons." He proclaimed with a smile while holding out a new book.
"Yay!" The Dragon Explorers cheered as Fishlegs gave a chuckle at his two nephews and niece.
Snotlout was still furious. "There will be repercussions for this! Repercussions!" He called out as he ran up to his hut.
