Sea Gate Battle of Fixing Home
"So, who are you guys and is that guy available." Mermista asked the two questions with one finger pointing at Deku for the second question.
That causes Deku to flinch with his face turning a little red from the question which also surprises the other girls around him, and feeling a bit jealous too, but Glimmer pushes those thoughts aside and step forward.
"My name is Glimmer of Bright Moon. We've never met, but our parents fought in the Rebellion together." Glimmer mentioned.
"Oh, yeah... I remember hearing about the old Princess Alliance. My dad said it was a total disaster." Mermista said disinterestedly.
"In other words, the Alliance went down shit from one battle." Mirko stated of what the mermaid princess is saying.
"Mirko!" Momo yelled.
"What? Is not like we weren't all thinking about it." Mirko shrugged.
"Wow, you certainly speak on the mind. I think you and I are going to be good friends." Mermista interested in the rabbit woman who gives her a smirk.
"Now, what about you, greenie?" Mermista looked toward Deku.
"Oh, huh, I'm Deku, the Emerald Knight of Dryl and I-I have to come to purpose you joining the new Princess Alliance and such." Deku quickly introduced himself though still stuttered a bit.
"Smooth, kid." Mirko chuckled.
"Oh yeah, I heard some rumors about you from Dryl and now I'm meeting the guy in person and I gotta say, you definitely feel pleasant. More than Sea Hawk." Mermista glared at the sea captain.
"Told you she's still mad at you." Tsuyu said to Sea Hawk.
"Yet I still admire her amazing beauty combine with her sassy attitude." Sea Hawk smiled which only made Mermista growl at him.
"Whatever, so you wanna talk some business… Twinkle?" Mermista asked, saying Glimmer's name wrong.
"Yes, about the Princess Alliance." Adora answered for Glimmer while she was a little upset.
"They seem trustworthy for us to hear them out, and Sea Hawk already knows one of them who you said you wanted to be friends with." Tsuyu pointed out.
"She got you there." Sea Hawk grinned and gesturing to Mirko.
"Alright, guess it wouldn't hurt. Butler-Guard." Mermista snapped her fingers and the guard puts down his lance and don a cloth over his arm.
"Can you bring us some hors-d'oeuvres?" Mermista requested.
"Oooo, hors-d'oeuvres!" Sea Hawk excited.
"For everyone but Sea Hawk." Mermista said making Sea Hawk sad and Mirko just laughs.
"Your guard is also your butler?" Bow puzzled of this.
"The castle has been understaffed since most of the kingdom fled." Tsuyu said.
"The people fled? But why would they leave their own home?" Ochaco asked surprise.
"Because the Sea Gate is falling apart or whatever." Mermista answered standing up and grabbing her staff.
"What?!" Deku and his group gasped.
"Yeah, I know, right? It figures that I would inherit a kingdom that's crumbling, but it's totally fine-I'm...handling it. It's just kind of inconvenient because the Horde won't stop attacking us..." Mermista gestured her staff to the window showing the Sea Gate moving the water.
"(So, that must be her power over water.)" Deku thought noticed that.
"Why is the gate falling apart?" Glimmer asked.
"We don't really know since none of us are experts on First Ones' tech, and there's also the fact that we'll be dead fish by the Horde if we don't do something soon." Tsuyu stated.
"What she said, we're dead." Mermista shrugged.
"The Horde is the reason we're here. We want to rebuild the Princess Alliance. None of us stand a chance on our own, but we might be able to stop them together." Glimmer hoped to reason with Mermista.
But that just made Mermista slight hiss with a dark chuckle as she closes the water curtain.
"Yeah, cause that went so great the first time. Why should I help Bright Moon? It's not like they've ever done anything to help us." Mermista said harshly.
"You look like you could use some cheering up." Sea Hawk said clearing his throat.
"NO! No, no more shanties." Mermista yelled and lean face-close to Deku.
"Why did you bring him here? He is so annoying..." Mermista clenched her teeth in anger.
"B-Because Mirko had that she's friend with Sea Hawk and trustful to be friends with, a-and he hadn't burn down his ship too!" Deku answered quickly.
"What exactly did you do to make her so mad at you?" Ochaco asked curious to Sea Hawk.
"We have a rich and complicated past." Sea Hawk chuckled.
"He did a lot of screw ups like getting them kicked out of the Dolphin Social for challenging a doorman to a duel and setting the gondola on fire in the Tunnel of Love. There are more, but bottom line is that she doesn't want anything to do with Sea Hawk again." Tsuyu explained.
"Wow, you really mess up." The group deadpanned at Sea Hawk.
"I… I was just trying to give her a lifeful adventure!" Sea Hawk proclaimed crying a little.
Adora looks at one wall with a mural that has a familiar writing she knows too well.
"This is First One's writing." Adora walked over to the mural.
"And who is she again? What is she doing?" Mermista asked Deku, pointing her thumb at the girl in the red vest.
"That's Adora, the new She-Ra of Etheria." Deku answered honestly which surprises Mermista.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that." Tsuyu realized.
"And she can read those writing which I'm guess it has something to do with the Sea Gate." Deku said as they walk over to her.
"It does. The First Ones must have built it. It looks like the Gate gets its power from the Salinean Runestone... It could be that the Gate is failing because it's losing its connection to the power source." Adora said reading the writing.
"Mermista, is your Runestone still okay?" Deku asked.
"Yeah, I'm still connected to it and all." Mermista answered.
"Maybe Adora can fix it with her She-Ra powers since legend says that She-Ra is the most powerful princess." Momo theorized.
"I can try." Adora said.
"Look, Mermista. You need our help, and we need yours. If Adora can repair your gate, will you consider joining us? Please?" Glimmer pleaded.
"We promise to be on guard duty to protect the gate while Adora fix the gate." Deku said with a smile which made Mermista feel a little something for him.
"Okay, I guess I could… give you a chance. But only if HE isn't anywhere near me." Mermista glared at Sea Hawk.
"We can have him on guard duty on the sea to keep a look out for any Hordes coming, just as long as he doesn't set his ship on fire." Mirko patted hard on Sea Hawk's back.
"Whatever." Mermista shrugged.
(Sea Gate)
The group went up to the center core of the Sea Gate with Sea Hawk and Bow who volunteered to go patrolling with him off the other side.
"Wow! The looks so beautiful up close." Deku amazed.
"I thought so too despite looking a little faded that it could crack at any moment." Tsuyu said.
"She really doesn't hold back her words, does she?" Momo asked the Salineas Princess.
"That's what I like about her." Mermista grinned.
"I really hope you know what you're doing." Mermista said to Adora.
"Because if you don't then we're all dead." Tsuyu warned.
"N-No one is going to die. I so got this." Adora chuckled nervously. She really hopes that she can help get this gate up and running again.
"For the Honor of Grayskull!" Adora transformed into her She-Ra form.
"Whoa! You weren't kidding when you said she can become big." Mermista surprised as Tsuyu nods.
Adora holds her sword tightly at the center of the gate concentrating the magic power within herself then fires a small magical beam at the center, everyone looks at the gate as it starts to glow repairing itself with some digital beeps and hums.
"It's working!" Ochaco amazed.
"I'm glad to be right about that, but it looks like it's harder for She-Ra than I thought." Momo noticed Adora struggling to keep up the connection.
"All we can do now is wait." Deku said.
Meanwhile, Bow and Sea Hawk are talking to each other about what they like and some other personal things.
"Really? The Bright Moon princess has been feeling down on herself because she didn't want to let her immortal mother down!" Sea Hawk surprised.
"Yeah, I can tell it's been hard on her, but I know Glimmer will pull through because she has friends like me and the others up there!" Bow believed.
"Well, I can tell she is in good hands." Sea Hawk smiled.
Bow and Sea Hawk look at the ocean together until they spotted something coming at them fast.
"MOVE!" Katsuki threw an explosive punch close to force the small ship back crashing onto the Sea Gate.
The impact causes Adora to fall back feeling the shock from the gate.
"What's going on?" Adora asked.
"It's the Horde!" Bow shouted.
"What?!" Glimmer gasped.
"YOU'RE MINE NOW!" Katsuki appeared in front of the group and threw an explosive punch.
Deku however intercept the explosive to keep the full force away from the gate and just a little hit on it.
"This time, I'm going to kill you!" Katsuki grinned crazy.
"Not on my watch!" Deku said before spinning Katsuki around fast and threw him down toward the ocean.
"We need to keep the fight away from the Sea Gate. You girls go join Bow and Sea Hawk to fight off the Horde ship while I deal with Katsuki." Deku planned before he jumps after him.
"Wait, take these water walking shoes!" Momo tossed some water walking shoes she just made.
Deku grabs them quickly tying them up under his feet and starts running on the water just in time when Katsuki comes back up from the water, he looks mighty angry at the Emerald Knight and he's going to enjoy putting him in his place and finishing off Adora.
"Come and get me!" Deku taunted running around him.
Katsuki chases after Deku throwing some explosions left and right, but Deku was able to dodge them barely avoiding the strikes and jump at him throwing a few punches as the two would trade blows in midair for a moment.
"AP Shot: Auto-Cannon!" Katsuki unleashed a gatling of explosive blasts as Deku did his best to dodge them.
Meanwhile, the other group hurry over to Horde ship that fired a large energy blast that made a hole in the gate making the shock on Adora a little more painful than before, and Momo was the first to jump onto the enemies' ship though quickly move away when a cream-like substance almost hit her and melted part of the bar.
"Nice flex, your face would've looked ugly if that had hit you." A girl walked up to them.
"Leave now, Horde scum or feel the wrath of the Princess Alliance!" Momo threatened.
"Hey! The name is Mina and you're the ones who's going to feel our might on the dancefloor!" Mina grinned in a pose.
Mina is a girl of medium height, possibly set a little more broadly than some of her other female peers. Her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square shaped eyes with black sclerae and yellow irises and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. Her face is framed by short fluffy and unruly pink hair which is slightly darker than her skin. She also has two thin pale-yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides. She wears a plain white mask over her eyes, with a purple and turquoise skin-tight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, ending just above her breasts. Over this, she wears a cropped, sleeveless, tan-colored waistcoat with white fur along its collar, which she leaves unbuttoned. She wears custom made plum violet and beige acid-proof boots with holes in the soles. Breasts size: G-cup.
"You'll be feeling the dance of defeat when we're through with you!" Glimmer stated as everyone but Sea Hawk appears on the ship.
"Good one." Ochaco complimented to Ochaco.
"Thanks." Glimmer smiled.
"Come on, everyone! Let's throw some princess scum overboard!" Mina charged as the others do.
Bow quickly fired a sticky goo arrow at the cannon just before Lonnie pins him down and the cannon fizzles with electricity. Scorpia was about to go help Lonnie keep that rebel down only for Mirko to grab her tail to keep her in place.
"You're not going anywhere, scaly." Mirko smirked.
"You know, this reminds me of how Kacchan pointed that having my tail be captured could be a good advantage." Scorpia said.
"Who the fuck is" Mirko was cut off when Scorpia pulls herself toward Mirko who was forced forward from the pull though quickly blocked an incoming claw smack with her leg and got push back.
"Oh, you're stronger than the rest." Mirko commented.
"Well, being a Force Captain has it perks." Scorpia chuckled before quickly blocking some kicks from the rabbit woman.
Ochaco is fighting against Kyle and Rogelio as the two keeps her on the defense with dodging, she ducks down from a pathetic forward swing strike from Kyle and rolls out of the away from being stomped by Rogelio then touch him with her paw-pad fingers making the lizard boy float.
"How are you doing that?!" Kyle freaked out.
Ochaoc didn't answer as she kick Rogelio hard towards Kyle crashing onto each other in the air until they over the edge and Ochaco deactivate her power making them call into the water and were thrown away on the side the ship by Mermista in her mermaid form.
"Come on!" Mina grinned as she dodges a staff strike from Momo and twirls around to kick her away.
Tsuyu hops in shooting her long tongue rapidly at Mine who dodges them with some dancing-like moments and goes in for a kick to the stomach only for Tsuyu to clash it with her own kick, they push each other away but Mina unleash her acid that the frog girl dodges.
"Oh yeah, no one can get away from my acid!" Mina said as she throws some more acid at the two girls.
Momo and Tsuyu avoid the acids while getting closer to the pink Horde girl throwing some close-combat attacks, but Mina keeps on avoiding the hits with her dance style and even landed a hit or two on each then tosses Momo close to the edge.
"(She's moving too much to land any hits on her and her acid are a problem too. If we don't do something right now then she might get us.)" Momo thought worried, but then remember her mother's words about not overthinking things and the Plus Ultra saying.
"Alright, time to go Plus Ultra!" Momo charged at Mina while starting to make something.
"Too slow!" Mina shot a big pile of acid at Momo.
(With Adora)
Adora is still charging up the gate when suddenly Catra appears next to her.
"Hey, Adora." Catra greeted.
"Catra! What do you want?" Adora asked.
"Easy, I'm only here to talk… to ask you how." Catra said.
"How what?" Adora asked while still focusing on the gate.
"How did you suddenly became the brave idiot to leave the Horde knowing that would upset Shadow Weaver and we both know how scary she can be, not to mention Lord Hordak wanting you dead as a rebel now. How were you able to leave knowing what would happen not being scared anymore?" Catra asked showing some emotions of sadness and fear which surprises Adora.
"Honestly, I'm actually still scared deep down and afraid of what Shadow Weaver will try on me for deserting. But I left because my eyes have finally seen the truth, and because I had someone who helped me see the world is bigger than we know from what we've been told." Adora answered the best she can.
"Like Deku." Catra realized as she looks down seeing Deku fighting off Katsuki.
"No! Momo!" Ochaco screamed in horror that Momo has been hit by a large dough of Mina's acid.
"Don't worry, I held back enough to keep you alive." Mina bragged as she turns around about to attack the others.
But then she felt something wrap around her legs causing her to fall and see some metal-looking cloth and Momo reveal to be okay under a blanket.
"This blanket is Teflon, it doesn't melt from the acid." Momo smirked.
"Now, let see how you like your acid being use against you!" Momo tossed the acid blanket into one of the holes of the ship to make a bigger hole at the bottom of the ship.
"Shit!" Mina quickly melted the cloth off and got up only to meet a double kick to the face by Tsuyu sending her off the ship and into the water.
Scorpia and Mirko are still fighting though the former isn't having a really hard time with the bunny woman with her strong kicks on her claws and her punches barely lands on the enemy, but Mirko gave her a gatling of kicks sending her flying off the ship.
Then came Deku using the water shoes as distractions on Katsuki twice to land some good hits on Katsuki and almost breaking his arm with a kick sending him close to Mina.
"Katsuki! The mission is a bust! We have to get out here!" Mina called out.
"Shut up! I'm not going anywhere!" Katsuki angered.
"Adventure!" Sea Hawk crashed his fire while on fire as he jumps off in time destroying the Horde ship.
Catra comes in into the water after being sent flying by She-Ra, this forces Katsuki to think about retreating and swears to get his revenge on Deku. And it was just in time for Adora to finish fixing the Sea Gate.
"Huh, what do you know, you actually fixed it." Mermista amazed.
"It's beautiful." Adora smiled.
"So Mermista, will you join the Princess Alliance with us and help free Etheria?" Deku asked.
"Sure, I'm in." Mermista accepted.
"After the Horde nearly destroyed our home, you bet your lily pad I'm joining." Tsuyu offered to make herself a member.
"Plus, you have two cool friends with freaky powers and I want them on my team." Mermista added.
"Yes!" Bow and Sea Hawk cheered as they start singing together.

The battle of the Sea Gate was something I bet you weren't expecting such as Mina being part of the Horde and may have a thing for Katsuki, and now they have Mermista and Tsuyu in the Alliance to give them the water advantage. And it looks like Catra had a little chat with Adora too.
