She couldn't believe she was being taken as a prisoner by the Guardian Corps after quitting and now she's been deemed a traitor.
Why did they take it so personally? Were they trying to break her and make her do something she would regret?
Get on the train! You worthless brat!
The soldier pushed an innocent child onto the train, while the silver-haired woman watched with anger in her eyes. She wanted to say something to him and hoped that he would do something, but it was too risky.
She quickly moved into the train car and when the door closed, the silver-haired woman pulled up her hoodie as she sat down next to a man. He looked at her but she said nothing until the train started moving.
Hey?
Huh?
The silver-haired woman heard the man whisper to her and prepared to speak; she sat up straight before commencing their conversation.
My name is Sazh, what's yours?
It's Claire Farron, but you can call me Lightning.
The man nodded before sitting back, and a soldier heard them talking. Sazh flinched out of fear and moved away from Lightning, but she didn't move an inch.
No talkin!
Sorry sir we-
What are you going to do about it?
Gasp*
The soldier was about to try and grab Lightning (he wouldn't have had a good day, if he did), until the train crashed through a barrier, Lightning sprung into action taking off her coat and attacking the two soldiers with a Breakdown Dance, Fighting Move.
They went down to the ground and Lightning's face was finally revealed (I am a girl, but she is so beautiful).
The train is shaking; the people are panicking, and Sazh gets it together and decides to toughen up, and help the people stay calm until he and Lightning somehow manage to stop the train.
Kill them! Kill the passengers!
(That's what you think, cuties)
Lightning stands up and does a dance to distract them; they are hypnotized by her beauty. Sazh uses this to get all the passengers to the opposite car. He quietly tells them to stay calm.
What's uh, sh-sh-she doing we- sir?
I duh-duh- don't know but, snap out of-
The blast from the top of the train killed the soldiers, luckily it was enough to stop the train. Importantly, the people are safe and at their stop (they just can't leave).
Run!
Lightning runs towards the top of the train, carrying the gunblade she had picked up.
I meant away!
Sazh's hands shake as he grips onto the edge. Lightning points her gunblade towards the machine and gets into a battle stance. A face close-up of Lightning follows, as she licks her lips and smiles. Sazh looks on, slightly startled.
Whoa, what the-
Move back!
Sazh moves back and Lightning backflips away from its buzz saw before backing up. Sazh stumbles back in surprise and moves back alongside Lightning.
What do we do?
Watch and learn, but please help me out; I don't think I can do it alone.
Lightning swung her gunblade to her right as Sazh took out his handguns. They fought against the machine, dodging, countering its blows. When they were finished, it slowly but quickly descended down blow dead.
Lightning sighed in relief as she put away her Gunblade, while Sazh put away his guns. She watched him stomp his foot in frustration before one of the passengers approached them in question.
It's safe; please tell everyone to go somewhere safer than here.
Yes sir, thank you both!
You're welcome.
Lightning smiled and Sazh watched as everyone left, one by one. Lightning then leaped downwards, and Sazh followed her, climbing down since he wasn't as agile.
