Hope awoke and Vanille was already awake to begin with; the pink-haired boy and the bright red-haired girl looked to each other and turned their gazes away. Hope then looked around to make sure they were in a safe place, while Vanille climbed onto something and made her own weapon as well.

I'm making a weapon to protect us.

I already have a weapon; my father made it for me. It's a boomerang or something.

Vanille let out a quick giggle before carefully jumping down to Hope. With her weapon in hand, she tested it out, but then the machine dogs attacked her and Hope. They weren't defenseless.

Hope and Vanille protected themselves from the sudden attack; it was difficult, but they managed somehow with sheer willpower.

Wow, that was challenging.

I know, Hope; let's get moving, we can't stay here.

Alright, let's go.

Snow went on alone and landed the ship. As he got off, he saw a switch to press. It was guarded by two machine dogs, so he prepared to defend himself in hand-to-hand combat (Snow doesn't use weapons, obviously).

Snow defeated the two robotic dogs and pressed the switch, sending down a platform. Snow got on it immediately.

Back with Hope and Vanille, they heard an echo of, "Alright, I'm coming babe!"

Hope walked straight past Vanille as she looked on, following her fellow behind him. Vanille and Hope then saw a door; they immediately checked to see if it was okay to go through.

Hope turned his head away and blushed before he and Vanille continued walking.

Lightning tries to cut through a barrier to the door, and Sazh rolls his eyes, knowing she's not that strong; Lightning sighs in frustration before putting away her gunblade.

What are you going to do now, Light?

Sazh covers his ears before Lightning puts her hand on the barrier and whispers something to it.

Please let me in, Sazh doesn't have to suffer for what I said to my sister, forgive me... please.

The barrier slides shut behind them, and Sazh covers his ears in shock before they continue on together, fighting more machines and dog-like robots, finally stopping for a break as Sazh wants to ask Lightning something.

Lightning and Sazh continue on together as the screen fades to white.

Snow continues on his journey and spots Hope and Vanille being attacked by machine dogs; he rushes to their aid.

Alright time to clean up, get back-

Hope and Vanille, and Snow, fought against the attackers and won the fight; they took deep breaths before traveling together.

Lightning and Sazh go through many obstacles to reach their destination; they finally arrive only to find Lightning's sister lying unconscious on the ground.

So that's your sister, Light? Oh, damn!

Lightning sees Serah's La-cie brand but she loves her sister, she sees at the corner of her eyes Sazh reaching for one of his guns, she turns around hypersonicly.

Snow sees them and smiles, before he and Hope, and Vanille go over to them; Snow sees Lightning kneel back down because Serah's waking up.

Lightning and Snow watch in horror as Serah begins to glow and turn into a crystal; everyone's eyes are huge as the screen goes to black.
