"We're focusing on our Quirks?" Itsuka asked. She and the rest of Class 1-B were a bit surprised when they heard what was in store for them at the training camp.

Vlad King nodded. "Class 1-A is already training, which means you need to catch up."

"Damn. What sort of hazing did they go through this time?" Hitoshi asked.

"Speaking of hazing Shinso, your training partner is already at the camp." Vlad King noted. "I hope you're ready because you'll need to focus on your Quirk to be able to keep up with her. Ghidorah shall also be there and you're going to need to use everything you have on him."

"Great..." Hitoshi groaned.

"So we're supposed to have individual training?" Setsuna asked.

"Sort of. Much like how muscles break down and grow back stronger with every workout, Quirks can do the same." Vlad King said.

"Oy! Shinsho, you made it!" Ghidorah called out with a smile. Accompanying him was a girl with blonde hair tied in two messy buns and a fanged mouth.

"Hi~!" The girl greeted, hugging Ghidorah's arm.

"Who's this supposed to be?" Itsuka wondered.

"This is my adoptive daughter, Himiko Toga." Vlad King introduced. "Her Quirk is [Transform], which lets her change her appearance through ingestion of someone's blood."

"She's also my childhood best friend." Ghidorah smiled, Himiko happily nuzzling up to him.

"You never told us that!" Pony squeaked.

"Well, nobody asked."

I should warn you right now, Shinso, she's already collected samples from all of Class 1-A." Vlad King warned. "Class 1-B, each of you will be providing a sample as well."

"Oh boy, I hope it won't be too much..." Shouda said nervously.

"SATO WAS RIGHT! THIS IS HELL!"

Class 1-A was going through their training regiments. Katsuki kept plunging his hands into boiling water to expand his sweat glands, launching a powerful explosion between immersions.

Shoto unleashed alternating ice and fire to regulate the temperature of the water he was bathing in so he could get his body used to freezing as well as help in controlling the temperature of his flames.

Sero was producing more tape than normal and at a continuous rate to increase its capacity and shooting speed.

Oujiro kept slapping his tail against Eijirou's hardened body to improve the durability and strength of both their Quirks.

Kouji was doing vocal exercises to build up his vocal cords and expand the range of his Quirk as well as inspire confidence in him.

Yuuga kept firing off his laser over and over again to increase its range and strengthen his stomach so it wouldn't hurt as much from overuse.

Fumikage was kept in total darkness in order to improve his control over Dark Shadow. Judging by the screaming going on, it was not a pleasant experience.

Ochako was working on getting her inner ear canals used to zero gravity by bouncing around in a large hamster ball.

Tenya was doing hardcore long-distance running with his engines constantly active.

Tsuyu was doing a full-body workout to improve all of her muscles, including her tongue.

Rikidou was doing weight training while also scarfing down all the sweets he could eat in order to increase his strength and sugar capacity. Momo was with him, also doing calorie training in order to improve the number of objects she could produce in a single sitting and shorten the amount of time needed to create them.

Kyouka was using her jacks to pierce through harder substances to improve her audio control. Mina was doing the same with her acid by constantly producing it, in order to improve both how caustic the acid could be as well as control said caustic level.

Minoru was pulling off more of his spheres in order to increase the strength of his scalp.

Tooru and Shouji trained together by having Tooru stay invisible for increased periods of time while Shouji tried to track her down.

Denki was pumping out his electricity into a high-capacity battery in order to increase his wattage limit.

Izuku was going through an intense workout routine in order to increase his strength and endurance as well as fine-tune his control over [One For All].

Twilight was in a state of perfect meditation, her body surrounded by an ethereal purple glow. However, what nobody saw was that she had astral projected out of her body and was currently reading a book while humming to herself.

Applejack was walking around with a giant boulder strapped to her back while keeping her Quirk active at all times. This was to help her increase her strength and the power of [Core].

Rainbow was laughing as she flew around with Tenya, practically racing him as she trained her wings. She occasionally took breaks in order to train the weather manipulating aspects of her Quirk.

Rarity was doing a type of dance training workout, crafting all sorts of crystals around her as she did so in order to fine-tune her control over them.

Fluttershy was in a deeply forested area, reaching out with her Quirk in order to expand its capabilities.

Pinkie was just goofing off and occasionally joining in on the others' training regiments due to the bizarre and cartoonish nature of her Quirk making it a Jack-Of-All-Trades.

Marco was meditating, channeling through all of his elements to gain a deeper understanding of them. Click was sitting on his shoulder to gauge his progress.

Sunset was near Shoto and Katsuki, using the heat from their training regiments to help her own fire powers while also focusing her mind.

Trixie was performing an endless array of magic tricks using her Quirk to increase the space manipulation capacity.

Starlight was transmuting all sorts of things to better fine-tune her Quirk. Currently, she had just finished turning a rock into a lump of gold that she set down before working on a 2x4 board of plank wood.

Tony was put through the most severe injuries his body could sustain, increasing the speed of his adaptations and regeneration.

Elleanor was in a giant taffy-pulling machine, laughing through the pain as she used it to increase her malleability.

Jotaro was working his Quirk in overdrive, running to all of his allies and tending to any injuries they sustained so he could increase the speed at which he healed others.

Terumi was blindfolded and placed on the same mountain that Sero was standing on for his training regiment. Terumi was training his Quirk so he could track multiple people at once.

Junko was training all five of her senses while having her hearing bombarded by Katsuki's explosions and her sense of smell overwhelmed by the smell of ozone coming from Denki.

Kira had joined in on Oujiro and Eijirou's sparring in order to harness his Quirk to make sure he controlled how much damage was reflected back at the attacker as well as increase his pain immunity. He also occasionally focused his Quirk on someone else in order to make them redirect any damage they took.

Tempest was actually with Marco, focusing on her powers as well. A teal blue aura was surrounding her, flames, sparks of electricity, shards of ice, and a strange radioactive energy flickered across her.

Flash was practicing all sorts of different technologies to shapeshift his body, increasing his arsenal as well as the speed at which he transformed.

Finally, Derpy, due to the nature of her Quirk, was instead training her physical body in order to increase her strength.

"It's ugly, isn't it?" Ghidorah winced. "I was also training with Marco and Tempest in focusing my powers, myself."

"If this is what they have to go through... Then what are we in for?" Rin whimpered in terror.

"The idea is to maximize your power, and focus on the parts of your body needed to manifest your Quirks." Vlad King explained.

"Think Aizawa-Sensei will loan me some eye drops?" Hitoshi asked, knowing that his eyes were definitely gonna be strained to their limit.

"How about some aspirin as well?" Ghidorah suggested.

"This sort of training is normally done gradually, but right now we don't have time for that. Not with the knowledge that the League of Villains is starting to pick up steam." Aizawa said as he approached. "And you kids need to catch up to Class 1-A if you hope to be effective teammates when the time comes."

"Oh, Monoma would have hated this." Setsuna chuckled.

"That's still a total of sixty unique Quirks," Itsuka pointed out. "How are the teachers going to keep track of them all?"

"That would be us!" Said a new woman, dressed in yellow, "Four kittens in one litter!"

Mandalay came out. "Your feline fantasies are here!"

"We're here to lend a helping paw!" The woman in yellow said.

A large man, at least the group thought they looked like a man, appeared in orange garb.

"We're champions serving up justice with our tails!"

Pixie-Bob arrived. "Purr-fectly cute and cat-like heroes!"

"WE'RE THE WILD WILD PUSSYCATS! FULL VERSION!"

"I'm Ragdoll!" the girl in yellow said. "My Quirk is [Search], which lets me look at up to a hundred people and know everything about them, including location and weakness!"

"You all know my [Earth Flow] Quirk," Pixie-Bob said, "With it, I'll be able to make the perfect training ground for the entire class!"

"My Quirk is called [Telepathy]," Mandalay said. "I can use it to give advice to multiple people at once!"

"And I'm Tiger! I'm here to beat you guys to a pulp while acting as the perfect punching bag with my [Pliabody] Quirk, with which I can stretch and flatten my body!" The masculine Pussycat introduced himself last. "Each of you with strength Quirks, go and join Midoriya, Panelle, and Aiho for boot camp!"

Twilight reconnected her astral spirit with her body while keeping herself in a meditative pose before turning to Izuku.

"Hey, Izuku! Care to show our classmates how you've improved?"

Izuku, looking completely out of breath and covered in sweat, nodded as he focused [One For All] into a right straight.

"DETROIT SMASH!"

Judging from the shockwave that occurred from the punch, Tiger dodging using his Quirk, Midoriya had seriously gotten stronger. By now, he was up to 55% control of [One For All], a significant boost.

"Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy gasped as all the forest creatures who had gathered around her scattered. "Oh, dear! Come back, little ones!"

"Now that's how you do it!" Tiger called out. "That there is Plus Ultra! That students, is the sort of progress you should strive for!"

"Speaking of which; Shinso, your training will involve a special scavenger hunt using GPS-tracked marbles," Aizawa said. "Toga and Ghidorah will be tracking you while you do this, and the only way to stop them is going to be using your Quirk. You'll have to focus on being able to brainwash them without either needing to answer you. Failing that, you'll have to work on your vocal cords and eyes."

Ghidorah grinned ferally as he transformed into a monster eerily reminiscent of the ones from A Quiet Place. Hitoshi could only deadpan at just how hard this was gonna be.

By the time dinner came around, the entire class, both 1-A and 1-B, were completely exhausted. The curry the class made as a team needed some work, though it was flavorful enough to not complain. It helped that Katsuki, Applejack, Pinkie, Jotaro, and Rarity were quite the skilled cooks of the group.

Izuku and Twilight noticed Kota had been watching the group the entire time and from the look of it, the kid was conflicted. Kota walked off, not hearing his aunt calling for him. As a result, his stomach was begging to be fed as he looked up at the sky near a cave.

"Sounds like you're getting hungry," Izuku said, coming over with a plate of curry, Twilight right behind him.

Kota jumped. "How'd you find this place? It's supposed to be my secret hangout."

Twilight held up two fingers as they glowed with magic light before pointing them at the ground as Kota's footprints illuminated with an ethereal glow.

"Your aunt was calling you for dinner, but it looked like you didn't want to join us. So I thought I'd leave something with you instead." Izuku said.

"Thanks, I guess..." Kota nodded as he sat down and accepted the curry. "Why bother improving your Quirks in the first place? All you wanna do is show off, right?"

"Is that how your parents were?" Twilight gently asked.

"I heard about what happened to Water Hose myself," Izuku said. "Personally I think the people who told you about their deaths handled it wrong."

"It's so stupid," Kota said bitterly. "Calling each other names like 'Hero' and 'Villain' and killing each other because of it."

Twilight sighed and flicked the boy's forehead lightly.

"What was that for!?"

"You're being ridiculous," Twilight said like a stern mother would. "What kind of hero aims to kill a villain? And where does that leave people who aim to rescue people rather than just capture bad guys? You're letting the fact that your parents were heroes who died get to you and painting the wrong picture with it.

"She's right you know. Not a lot of heroes use their Quirks when acting as heroes. Plus some don't even have Quirks!" Izuku added.

Twilight surprised Kota by pulling him into a hug, making the boy blush as she held her hand out and released magical sparkles that floated into the sky before glittering into various shapes and constellations.

"I know how hard it is to understand but this whole world is magical now. Nobody can really change it and as much as it hurts us...we need to accept it and move on."

"Alright, we've got nine people here in total," Adagio said as she, Sonata, and Aria were with Dabi, Mustard, Ableblade, and Storm King as well as two other individuals.

The two in question were a large man in a cloak who had his hand twitching impatiently and another, more lanky man, his entire body except for his gaping mouth covered in some kind of black straightjacket.

"Just let me loose already. I'm too pumped up just to stand by." The cloaked man said.

"We have a few more people showing up in case things get dicey with those brats." Storm King said, readying his staff. "Also, can somebody do something about those two? They're freaking me out."

"Meat..." The straightjacket man slurred out, slowly banging his head repeatedly against a tree.

"Like it or not, we're stuck with them for right now." Aria sighed.

Dabi chuckled. "The original League of Villains made a mistake using gutter trash to attack the USJ. Better to use a small group of elites."

"Yeah, this time we'll have much better success! We have the power of teamwork on our side!" Sonata beamed.

"We need to be cautious," Ableblade warned. "The students of UA are training for war and are becoming more and more aware that this fragile peace will be shattered soon enough."

"We attack near the end of the week," Adagio said. "Remember, we're supposed to take the Pussycats alive. And if any students get in our way...take them as well."

"Things are going well! I'm already sensing their weaknesses fading bit by bit." Ragdoll noted with a smile.

"We're already at Day Six of training and Pixie-Bob is looking forward to the test of courage," Tiger said.

"By the way... We should really give her time off. She needs a boyfriend, like, yesterday..." Mandalay sighed.

Ragdoll and Tiger nodded in agreement. Seeing her try to hit on every cute boy in the two classes was getting annoying. Rustling was soon heard as they turned to see Hitoshi, Himiko, and Ghidorah all stumbling out.

"Daddy, I wanna get off the roller coaster..." Himiko muttered.

"I claim this land in the name of Spain!" Ghidorah blurted out before falling on his face, instantly falling asleep.

That evening, Izuku and Twilight noticed Kota again. It seemed like the kid had been getting more and more interested in the students as if trying to figure out why they were really training.

"Isn't that the kid from the hot springs?" Shoto asked.

"Yeah, he's Mandalay's nephew," Izuku said. "He apparently hates the idea of superhumans. But... Maybe he's starting to understand why such people are necessary."

"We tried giving him a nudge," Twilight noted. "But I feel like he'll have to figure things out on his own from here."

"Speaking from experience, words aren't always enough. More often than not, it's actions that really get your point across." Shoto said.

"That's true, Ghidorah-Kun did give you a pretty severe lashing at the Sports Festival," Jotaro noted as he walked by.

"But what can we do to help Kota see reason?" Twilight pondered. "Unless a bunch of villains just up and decided to randomly attack this place, I don't know how we're gonna get to him."

As night fell, Pixie-Bob explained how the Test of Courage was going to go.

"Class 1-B will be our scarers. Then every three minutes, one pair of students from Class 1-A will head down the route and pick up a marker with their names on them. Those who are the scarers aren't allowed to make physical contact. Instead, you must use your Quirks to terrify the others!"

"That's gonna be easy for Tokage," Tsuburaba noted. "All she has to do is remove her head and place it on a low branch."

"Why can't I be one of the scarers?" Ghidorah asked. "And for that matter, why can't Tony and Terumi either? They got the builds to be the perfect scary monsters."

"We resent that," Tony said, Terumi growling and nodding in agreement.

The pairs were all chosen randomly but before anybody could start, Ghidorah felt something sharp pulsating in his head, concentrating on the disturbance before his eyes widened.

"Ragdoll, can you do a quick search?!"

Ragdoll was confused but nodded as she did so. As soon as she got a good view, she gasped.

"We have a group of unauthorized individuals approaching. One's emitting some form of toxic gas..."

"Oh no..." Aizawa said, his eyes widening. "All students! Return to the dorms and get your costumes! We have a villain emergency!"

"OH COME ON!" Rainbow cried out in frustration. "CAN'T WE EVER GET A BREAK?!"

Dabi was already using his Quirk, [Cremation], to start burning the forest with a torrential sea of blue flames.

"Alright team... let's take them down."

"This is gonna be so much fun!" Sonata grinned.

Things are gonna get serious in the coming chapters! I'm not gonna be as lenient on the Hero Side as mtnetsurfer was!
