"Holy cow, look at this place!" Flash breathed in amazement.
The amazing thing about a world full of superpowers is that construction can often be completed in a matter of days. Heights Alliance was the name of the new dorms for the students of UA High, situated just a short five-minute walk from the main campus. Aizawa and Starswirl met Class 1-A just outside the dorms.
"Welcome to your new home for the next three years. In a moment we'll be explaining how the dorm assignments will be laid out." Aizawa said.
"However, there is something to address first. We were planning on issuing you your provisional hero licenses following the end of the training camp, but that got interrupted due to the attack by the League of Villains." Starswirl added. "That said, you'll still get the chance to obtain your licenses during the upcoming Provisional License Exam at the end of the semester."
"Oh yeah! This is happening!" Rainbow cheered, pumping her fist.
"This'll help us going out in the field! That way we can be legally addressed as Heroes despite still being students!" Sunset smiled.
"Special provisions have been taken to insure that the dorms are as comfortable as possible," Starswirl continued. "And there are a few special treats in store for you."
"Ooooh, what kind of treats?" Elleanor, Pinkie, and Mina all asked excitedly.
Aizawa smirked. "Why don't you come inside and find out."
"Now pay attention," Aizawa said as everyone went inside. "Each dorm holds one class. Girls' rooms are on the right and boys' rooms are on the left. The entire first floor is a common area where you can hang out."
"Wait, is that...?" Jotaro asked as he noticed the fridge in the common area. "No...The legends are true?!"
"Indeed! That fridge is one of the Arctic Queens found by the Illuminati organization!" Starswirl smiled. "They'll constantly stock themselves with fresh food every day!"
"There's also copies of the Quick and Ready Meals menu in each dorm, and the Illuminati also saw fit to grant the dorms access to the Infinite Pizza Box, Pan-Dimensional Vending Machine, Coffee Machine, and Infinite Pasta Pot."
Ochako began wobbling dizzily. "I'm living in a mansion..."
"It makes sense. Nedzu-Sensei IS a respected member of the Illuminati." Izuku said.
"And so are Princess Celestia and the Pillars!" Twilight added.
"So's my dad." Starlight shrugged. "But he's on the lower end of the totem pole, to be honest."
"Also, Mineta, just to warn you; The baths are separated by gender," Aizawa said.
"Don't have to tell me..." The dwarfish boy grumbled.
"Living quarters start on the second floor. Four boys and four girls on each level. Everyone gets their own room, complete with AC, toilet, mini-fridge, and closet." Starswirl continued. "You'll find your name beside your door, and the nameplates can't be removed by any means."
"All the belongings you requested have already been brought over and placed in your assigned room, so you might as well spend the day unpacking and getting settled." Aizawa finished.
"Oh, before we forget!" Starswirl perked up. "There's also the Pocket Theatre so you can enjoy any movies you wish together. And yes, it does have a self-replenishing supply of snacks."
"Awesome!" Tony shouted as he and Eijirou turned to each other and slammed heads together.
"I'll brief you on further lesson plans starting tomorrow. Feel free to unwind until then." Aizawa said.
"And please, try not to burn the place down..." Starswirl gently and politely asked.
Once the class finished unpacking, they settled in the common area. They each had a credit card to make use of the Quick and Ready Meals menu, which would be refilled on a weekly basis. Some made use of the menu, the items which would appear in the common area as soon as they were done being prepped, while others simply grabbed something from the Infinite Pizza Box or Infinite Pasta Pot for a meal.
"So, what movie do you guys wanna see?" Denki asked.
The class all had different choices but soon settled on a voting system. Ultimately, The Last Unicorn won out with the most votes, which everyone accepted.
"Well, we have time before the movie. So how about we go and see who has the coolest room?" Mina suggested.
"Well, what did you expect?" Katsuki scoffed. "Deku is the biggest All-Might nerd in the history of his career."
True to Katsuki's word, Izuku's room was stacked to the brim with almost all of All-Might's merchandise.
"Oh wow, even the knock-offs?" Junko said as she felt one of them in her hands.
"In all honesty, even All-Might likes them." Izuku awkwardly admitted. "He has a few himself, actually."
"Makes sense. When you're a celebrity, why buy your own official merch when you can just get the knockoffs as a joke?" Momo said.
Fumikage tried to keep everyone out of his room, only for both him and Dark Shadow to get restrained by Blackwhip and moved aside. Everyone laughed when they saw the room decked out like Fumikage was performing a dark ritual.
"This is why I didn't want anyone coming inside..." The avian-headed boy muttered.
Yuuga's room was exactly as everyone expected, filled with anything that could sparkle. Momo created sunglasses for everyone so they wouldn't go completely blind.
"Dazzling, wouldn't you agree?"
"I must admit, it does shine rather nicely." Rarity commented.
Minoru's room was not what the girls were expecting. Sure it had a few sexy female hero posters and merchandise but there was actually merchandise of famous actor Tim Curry in many of his iconic roles.
"What? I like Rocky Horror Picture Show!" Minoru argued.
"Hey, mad respect, Bro." Ghidorah said.
Oujiro was a little embarrassed since he had only brought in the bare essentials, not expecting to need anything else.
"Can we just move on?"
"I don't see anything wrong with it. It's very modest." Fluttershy said.
Tenya's room was full of bookshelves, all fully stocked. Ochako laughed when she saw one set of shelves with several pairs of glasses on them.
"What's with all this!?" Pinkie guffawed as she put on a pair.
"A necessary measure. One cannot partake in hero training and expect one's glasses to remain intact." Tenya explained.
"He does have a point. I actually have reading glasses of my own." Twilight pointed out.
Denki's room looked like some sort of store out of a mall.
"Pretty swank, right?"
"Personally, I'd rather avoid this store," Kyouka quipped, sending Denki into depression.
Kouji's room had a few stuffed animals, as well as a pet rabbit.
"IT'S SO CUTE!" the girls squealed.
"Why do you get to have pets?" Terumi asked.
"I was given special permission due to my Quirk," Kouji explained. "Yuwai-Chan is also my service animal."
"Awwww, that's sweet." Fluttershy smiled warmly, making Kouji blush.
Katsuki's room was pretty normal, except the class noticed a lot of his furnishings were designed to be blast-proof. He also had a drum set on the side.
"Oh yeah, Kaachan LOVES playing the drums!" Elleanor giggled. "You should hear him play sometime!"
"Ellie-Chan!" The explosive blonde growled, his cheeks flushed.
Eijirou's room had inspirational posters and workout equipment.
"Now this is a manly-ass room!" Flash noted.
"Yeah, a den of manliness!" Eijirou proudly said.
Shouji had perhaps the least amount of stuff in his room, just a desk and a futon.
"I was never one for material possessions."
Sero's proved rather interesting, all decked out with exotic decorations.
"Darling, this is absolutely FABULOUS!" Rarity gushed.
Sero blushed bashfully. "Just a few things I thought would tie the room together."
Shoto's room, by contrast, had a surprising Japanese setup.
"How did you remodel this entire room?!" Minoru asked. "It's only been a day!"
"I've had practice."
"Yeah, I'm gonna call bullcrap on that." Tempest dryly said.
For Rikidou, he had set up some baking equipment in his room.
"Oooooh! A fellow baker!" Pinkie beamed. "And something smells good too!"
Rikidou opened the nearby oven. "I got unpacked early so I started baking a chiffon cake. I was thinking we could enjoy it together."
Pinkie was the first to sample and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as she bounced off the walls.
"That's Pinkie Pie for 'Excellent'." Twilight giggled, helping herself to a slice.
Marco's room was pretty normal but it did have stuff native to his home dimension.
"I managed to bring a few things from my world with me to this one."
Ghidorah's room was like the den of a Yakuza Oyabun and was decked out in a Japanese setup much like Shoto's room.
"Seriously?! You too, Ghidorah?!" Minoru gawked.
"You mad?"
Flash's room looked like a rockstar teen's bedroom in a high school drama with plenty of music equipment and even some video game systems.
"Hey, I'm a guy with style, you know?"
Tony's room was pretty basic but it did have some reptile memorabilia, a fish tank, and an old-fashioned computer.
"This is my den. Hope you don't mind the accommodations."
Terumi's room, like Shouji's, was minimalist, but it did have some plushies in it that the girls found to be adorable.
"These were gifts from a friend..." Terumi admitted. "She goes to a different school, though."
Jotaro's room was like that of a scholar and also had a chemistry table and his magic satchel was also hung on the wall. There was also lots of medical equipment and things one would find in a doctor's office.
"I am from a line of famous doctors after all."
Kira's room was like a room from a monastery with incense candles, a tarp mat for meditation, and even a radio.
"I study Feng Shui in my spare time."
It was now time for the girl's side and the first was Kyouka, who was quite embarrassed when she revealed her room was full of musical equipment.
"Hey, a fellow music lover!" Flash smiled, giving a thumbs-up.
"Man, there are enough instruments here to make a whole band!" Rainbow said. "Do you need someone on Bass?"
Tooru proudly showed off her room, which was filled with pink and girly decorations.
"Very bright, but perhaps a bit clashing with your hair color," Yuuga commented.
"I can't help it if I like cute things!"
Mina's room had the exact opposite color palette, with darker black and red, but still done in a cute manner.
"I must say, darling, this just screams you." Rarity smiled.
"I know, right?"
Ochako only had a few necessities in her room.
"It's a little bare, I admit. I'm used to living on a budget."
"I think I can pull a few strings for you." Twilight smiled reassuringly.
Tsuyu then let everyone into her room. It was decked out like a small marsh, but without the water, and had green practically everywhere.
"When my mom heard we were moving into dorms, she helped me find furnishing for my dream room, ribbit."
"I think it looks very nice." Fluttershy smiled.
Inside Momo's room, the bed was fancy, as was most of the furniture. What was most catching was how the bed took up a lot of space.
"The rooms are much smaller than what I'm used to," Momo admitted, embarrassed. "I'm going to need to replace that bed soon."
Twilight's room was like a miniature library complete with tomes, famous books, poems, and more. There was even a quill pen on a writing table.
"I've always enjoyed fantasy settings, y'know?"
Pinkie's room was like a wild party with all sorts of colorful decorations, a cake-themed bed, and even multiple lists set neatly on a table.
"Those are my party planners!" Pinkie proudly explained. "I've got everyone's likes and dislikes down pat so I can throw them the best parties!"
Applejack's room had a homely farmhouse feel to it. It even had a miniature kitchen built in.
"Just want to have a piece of home with me."
Rainbow's room just screamed tomboy with lots of Air Force memorabilia, merchandise of the Wonderbolts, and even a nice little garden on the side.
"Hey, I do a little gardening in my spare time."
Rarity's room was the definition of elegant. It was like a combination of Yuuga and Momo's room without the excessive brightness.
"I hope nobody minds, I also have some of my sewing kits in here. Come to me if anyone wants a touch-up."
Fluttershy's room was very modest, like a nice little cottage complete with small animals in snug little rooms of their own.
"Awwwww, it's like Kouda-Kun's room divided by infinity!" Mina gushed.
Sunset's room was pretty casual, like that of an ordinary high school girl with ordinary needs. She did have a guitar set and a couple of video game systems.
"Yeah, I'm pretty boring in comparison, huh?"
Starlight's room was similar to Twilight's in that it was like a fantasy scholar's wet dream come to life.
"Yeah, Twilight and I...have similar tastes."
Trixie's room was like the inside of a Hollywood star's trailer, complete with a vanity mirror, props, and all sorts of other things.
"Trixie has to have the showman flair, even in her living quarters!"
Derpy's room was very ordinary, nothing interesting of not, but there was a giant muffin plushie and a pegasus plushie that looked suspiciously like her.
"Sorry about how lame my room is..."
"Are you kidding, this plush is adorable!" Tooru squealed, hugging the Pony Derpy plush.
Tempest's room had a rather dark and gritty feel to it, almost like a Goth's paradise. It wasn't as dark and broody as Fumikage's room, but it did have plenty of stuff that would make Hot Topic look like JCPenny.
"What, don't judge me on my tastes."
Elleanor's room was bouncy and cute with splashes of orange and blue everywhere. She also had a diary set neatly on her table and a framed picture of her and Katsuki on their first date.
"This has all the necessities of life in my opinion!"
Finally, Junko's room had lots of accommodations for someone who was blind, even though she could still see with her Radar Sense regardless.
"Hey, it doesn't hurt to have everything set for my needs."
"Okay, the only rule we set for voting was that you can't vote for yourself," Mina said as she counted the votes. "So with that in mind, the winner of the best room contest with a total of ten votes is... Rikidou Sato!"
Rikidou was shocked. "Wait, me?"
"It was mostly the girls who voted for you," Pinkie admitted. "That cake was delicious..."
"Briber..." Minoru pouted.
"Don't be a sore loser, Mineta." Ghidorah chuckled, patting the smallest student on the head. "After all, the closest way to someone's heart is through their stomach."
"The movie's coming on in about fifteen minutes." Shoto pointed out. "Let's all get to the Pocket Theatre and settle into our seats."
"Don't forget the snacks!" Elleanor chimed in.
Yeah, this was basically a glorified version of the original My Hero SCP chapter but with more variety to the movies allowed to see.
