Time for an incoming fight, an old enemy to the Good Dinosaur, and this is something the others shouldn't get involved because this is round two for the green Apatosaurus from Hunnicutt Farms. Time for a clash of dinosaurs. Thanks to "Indoraptorman101." Enjoy reading this everyone.

Chapter 880: The Thunderclap and flock.

(January 17. Hunnicutt Farms.)

A glorious and calming day, and right now the snow has been cleared and the farms here are looking nice, and clean and crops growing?

So, apparently the family have taken Lincoln's offer and they setup a special barrier that steers the snow away from the lands and this helps with some early plant growth and no snow has touched the farm for the past 2 weeks, and this means the family can make a big profit with this early produce.

Among them is Arlo, and he is watching over the farmlands since his chores are done, and also school is done for the day and he feels calm and relaxed and his mind cleared from what had gone down lately. "Such a calm time, I like this."

Then he recalls something that Liam told him, from Lincoln Spellman. 'I don't know if what they say might work, but if this new thing they're making does work then I can talk with my new family and they would understand me. This is gonna be great!'

After thinking about family, he recalls something else. The family he once had, the ones long gone from a horrible storm. Arlo looks to the corn field so vast and he sighs. 'I just wish they were here, then perhaps we could all enjoy this moment, together. I miss them, I miss them all.'

'B-But I need to look forward to the future, and I am glad we celebrated the day I hatched, and I am growing up and so as I grow up I should be an adult and...' He then hears something, a very familiar dinosaur sound. 'Wait, what?!'

Arlo then sees some large flying things in the corn field and they are feasting on the corn and this alarms him. Arlo races to the bell tower, and he pulls the rope and the bell sounds, but the beasts within the corn field hear this and look to the green dinosaur.

Arlo then sees who these things are and he is shocked in fear, and also anger. "No..." It's Thunderclap, and his flock: Downpour, Coldfront, Frostbite and Windgust. "But, what the heck?!"

Thunderclap sees Arlo and he snickers and grins. "Well, it seems that the storm has brought us to greater lands after all, now I can take my revenge after what you did! Because whatever the storm brings, we take and we feast!"

The other flying dinosaurs take flight to go after Arlo. Arlo should be afraid, but he isn't and so he charges forward, the whole Hunnicutt family come out and see this, they watch as Arlo charges and he ducks down from their incoming attacks, and he uses his tail to whip them away.

Arlo managed to knock away all the flock members, but then Thunderclap lands onto the back of Arlo and he tries to strike him, but Arlo bites onto Thunderclaps wing and he throws him away, but the Nyctosaurus regains itself and then goes in for another attack.

But then he is struck by a net and is tangled and down. Arlo is surprised and so are the Hunnicutt family, and they see Jordan who used her blaster to fire a net, and she is riding Dominic. "I came here to get some fresh tomatoes because the supermarkets were out, didn't think this would happen."

Jordan and her Indoraptor arrive to the scene and she sees the other flying dinosaurs getting back up and so she fires a single shot and this smart bullet flies by each flying dinosaur and it has a rope trailing, and then the bullet is reeled back in and the Caulkicephalus, the twin Ludodactylus and the Guidraco are snared and pulled towards Jordan.

The group try to get up, but Dominic stands before them and roars and they choose to stay down. Jordan is confused, and then Liam asks. "They don't seem to be the same, and same with that purple one."

Jordan nods. "Yeah, normally they'd be with their own kind, but to see a mix of different fliers is odd. I need to tell the others about this, watch over there and someone get that Nyctosaurus." Jordan sees them all confused. "The purple flying dinosaur." They all understand now, and the parents and Memaw go to take the beast which is stuck.

Liam and Arlo go to the rest of the snared flock and deep down Arlo hates them. But knowing that they came through the same storm he did, means that they have no place to go and they only listen and obey Thunderclap.

Liam then hands them some corn to each one and they enjoy the meal they are given and Liam smiles. "Arlo, I can tell that you hate them critters. But I think these four aren't even at the mind of what they are doing."

(Take note, no one can understand Arlo and the dinosaurs.)

Arlo nods. "Yeah, I can tell that too." Arlo then kneels down and he speaks with them. "Look, you guys got stuck in the world where I am, I already lost so much and I don't wanna hurt the rest of you. I have changed, and the only thing I don't like is when something comes to take and eat what we have worked hard on. So, we'll figure something out, alright?"

The four flying dinosaurs don't know what to say from that, and they look towards Downpour and so she speaks. "Ummm, yeah. Sure thing, kid. Can you let us go now? We're kinda not in the good position to say we got sprained wings now."

Then Windgust speaks. "Because we spent the whole night getting beat up by very weird animals. What kind of messed up world is this?!"

Then Coldfront and Frostbite weep. "The storm has forsakened us! Why did the storm bring us here?! What have we done wrong?!"

Liam is confused by the weeping flying dinosaurs and then he looks towards Arlo. "What did you say to them guys?" Arlo shrugs, and they feed them some corn to calm them down, while Jordan is contacting the others about what has come to their world, and then she is told about what FutureTech found out last night but weren't sure.

Meanwhile, the family of Liam tries to go near the ensnared Thunderclap, but then the Nyctosaurus breaks free and he knocks the Hunnicutt family away and he spots Liam, and so he flies forward and he grabs the boy and this surprises Arlo and Jordan.

"If I cannot have that creature from before, then this one will do!" Thunderclap then flies off, and this angers Arlo and he gives chase, but then the others call out.

"Wait, let us free now!" yelled Windgust.

"We can help you, please!" said Coldfront.

Arlo is confused. "What? Why should I believe all of you?!"

Downpour then speaks. "Because Thunderclaps recent plans to follow the storm and eat what is left has led us to barely eating at all, and we can see that... He's kinda crazier than any of us, and we're not going to follow him anymore! Heck, a lot of stuff we eat doesn't even fill us up! He takes almost all of it!"

Frostbite then recalls something that happened and then he tells Arlo. "He almost ate me when I was gonna pass out from flying for too long."

Arlo didn't know what to think, but he knows he needs help getting Liam back, and Jordan is contacting backup and she rides onto her Indoraptor. So Arlo goes over and he removes the snare and the dinosaurs are free. "Can you guys keep up with Thunderclap?"

The flock spots Thunderclap is far. "We've kept up with him once, and we can do it again!" yelled Downpour. "Let's get him!" The flock then take off and Arlo follows and he catches up with Jordan riding on her Indoraptor Dominic.

Jordan sees the flock give chase to the Nyctosaurus, and then she looks towards Arlo and he has the rest of the Hunnicutt family on his back. "Looks like you talked them to helping, good job Arlo!" they then catch up with great speed at running, and thank goodness Arlo has gotten faster.

The rest of the flock attack Thunderclap and he notices this. "You traitors, the storm will claim you all and I shall feast on all of..."

Thunderclap clashes with Frostbite and he tries to scratch him. "We're done listening to you!"

Coldfront tries to grab Liam from the talons of Thunderclap. "And we're not gonna risk our lives for your crazy revenge."

Then Windgust is on the back of Thunderclap. "And we wanna live, and if the storm brought us here, then the reason is different than what you thought!"

Then Downpour strikes the head of Thunderclap with a tree branch, but this doesn't work and thunderclap spins around and knocks them away and he flies off with Liam. "Then the storm is my friend, and my only ally. The storm will claim you all!"

Thunderclap then looks to Liam struggling. "And you are all mine..." But then something zooms past Thunderclap. "What the heck?!" Then something fast moves by and that something is the Netherdrake Nel'Thorious and he tackles Thunderclap, but he drops Liam.

Liam yells as he is now free falling, and Thunderclap tries to grab him with his jaws, but then Downpour tackles him and then she flies off and Arlo throws a large rock with his mouth and he uses his tail to knock it away and the rock hits Thunderclap in the head and he falls.

Arlo then has the parents and memaw go on his head, and they form a monkey chain and open their arms, and Liam lands in the arms of his memaw. "Got ya, youngin'! Don't ever do that again, boy."

Liam then hugs Arlo on the head. "Thank you very much buddy that was scary."

Arlo is happy to see Liam is fine, but then he sees Thunderclap has crashed onto the bushes, the poison ivy bushes and he comes out in itching pain and he panics, but then he stops and sees he is surrounded and he roars back and looks towards Arlo. "You don't scare me, kid! You can't even beat me!"

Then Nel'Thorious comes down with Lincoln who has tranquilizer darts. Then the others land down, Downpour, Frostbite, Coldfront and Windgust and they roar at their former flock leader, but this angers Thunderclap. "You all do not scare me! The storm will come, and in fact, I shall call the storm!"

The Nyctosaurus roars and awaits the arrival of its ally. "The storm is coming! The storm is coming and soon all of you will..." Then something large comes down and crushes the Nyctosaurus. All of them gasp seeing this, and they see that the one that crushed it was the Rathalos Scorcher.

Marcy then looks around. "Guys, we heard about a Nyctosaurus, where is it?" She notices them looking to the foot of her Rathalos, and this makes her realize. "Oh, um... Scorcher, there is something on your foot."

The Rathalos feels this and removes it's foot and all of them back away in horror and Downpour vomits, and they see that the Nyctosaurus, Thunderclap has been crushed and sure to heck he is not gonna be flying or do anything anymore.

"Now that is so nasty!" said Jordan.

"Heh, reminds me of road kill" replied Liam's father.

Arlo sighs in relief, even though he didn't think they should've killed Thunderclap and he just thought perhaps they could've captured him and done something else to possibly fix his sanity, and then he sees the others looking at him. "So, what do we do now?" asked Windgust.

Arlo then recalls something, and he looks to Lincoln and Jordan and Marcy. Then he looks to the four flying dinosaurs. "Guys, I think I know just the place for you guys to live in and get a lot of good food to eat."

A/N: The foe of Arlo came back, and didn't end well for that guy, but at least his flock is changed after what they have been through. Sorry Indoraptorman101 but I did some changes that seemed right, and to end that purple flying dinosaur of a psycho. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this new chapter dudes.
