Chapter Eight: Moving In
~A/N~ Chapter Eight is here. I hope you enjoy it.
Note: The vast majority of the reviews for my question said I should go with Ochaco. Mainly since I've already had build-up between them. So I guess that's what I'll do. I hope you still enjoy the work even it if's not going with who you wanted.
Chapter Start!
~Midoriya Apartment~
It had been just over a week since Izumi had gotten accepted into U.A. In that week everything had been a blur. From her interesting friendship with Ochaco to packing up so they could move onto campus. That in itself was a shock. U.A. had given Izumi an apartment rather than a dorm room. Stating that since she had her son they thought it logical to give her a bit more space. She'd still be in the same building as the rest of the freshmen but she'd be on her own floor. The apartment was supposed to be for the homeroom teacher for her class. But for whatever reason they didn't use it nor did they want it.
"That's the last of it," Izumi was brought back to reality as Ochaco put the last box down.
"Thanks for helping. The movers should be here shortly," Izumi said.
"It's what friends do," Ochaco smiled.
"Mochimon!" Ochaco spun as Daiki ran up to her.
"Little man, what's up?" Ochaco asks as the boy hugs her. He didn't reply only looked up at her with excitement. Izumi sighed knowing Daiki was hoping Ochaco had brought some mochi snacks.
"You're acting like I have something for you?" Ochaco joked.
"Mochi?" Daiki asked looking from Ochaco to Izumi and back.
"Oh, I don't know... Did you finish packing up your toys?" Ochaco asks.
"Yes! I'm all done!" Daiki replies happily.
"Hmmm," Ochaco looked toward Izumi making sure it was ok. Izumi sighs and nods. "Maybe you should check the kitchen counter then," Daiki's eyes go wide and he runs off.
"You really got him hooked on Mochi," Izumi said.
"It is the best," Ochaco returns with a grin.
"Sure it is," Izumi replied. Ochaco took a few steps towards Izumi. Izumi does the same closing the little distance between them.
"So how are you?" Ochaco asks.
"I'm good," Izumi replies as Ochaco starts reaching for her hand. A hard knock comes on the door getting the two to pull away from one another.
"Heroes For Hire," A voice calls out.
"It's open," Izumi called out. The door opened and a redhead walked in alongside a familiar purple-haired boy.
"Oh, Shinso-san I didn't know you worked for H.F.H." Izumi smiled.
"I started last month. It's a great way to build some muscle," Hitoshi replied.
"Right so you requested help moving and someone with a truck?" Eijiro asks. Keeping quiet that she specified that she didn't want Tetsutetsu. He wasn't sure what happened between them. And he wasn't about to ask.
"Yeah, this is most of it. Just need to grab the boxes from my son's room," Izumi replied.
"Speaking of him," Ochaco looked toward the kitchen. "Daiki!" she calls.
"Coming!" he shouts back through what was probably a mouth full of mochi.
"Hey, Little man," Ejirio smiled.
"Red Guy!" Daiki shouted. "Purple hair!" He added seeing Hitoshi.
"This everything?" Eijiro asked.
"Just a couple of boxes in Daiki's room. I'll grab those," Izumi said.
"We can get these," Hitoshi stated.
"Let's get this started. Sooner we get packed sooner we can get to U.A." Ochaco said grabbing a box.
"Sweet you got in?" Hitoshi asked.
"Hell yeah she did," Ochaco said getting a blush from Izumi. "She took the top spot too," She added.
"I'll be right back," Izumi rushed off to Daiki's room.
'Cute,' All three adults thought.
~U.A.~
Her eyes snapped open and her body shot up. "Where am I?" Nana asked as she jumped out of the bed she was on and started to pull on her quirk.
"U.A. You're at U.A." A kind voice spoke quickly attempting to calm the woman.
"Chiyo is that... Wait... you're so old," Nana said seeing the aged woman.
"What's the last thing you remember?" Chiyo asked ignoring her old comment.
"Sending Toshi and Sora away," Nana replied.
"That was almost fifty years ago," Chiyo states.
"What?" Nana asks dumbfounded. It felt like hours ago she had told Sorahiko to grab Toshinori and run. It didn't make sense. How had she lost nearly fifty years?
"From what we've been able to figure out. You faced off against All For One and he defeated you. We believed you dead. In truth, All For One kept you in some sort of stasis. We don't know what All For One did to you during that time but we do know he regressed your age," Chiyo explained.
"Regressed?" Nana asked as she moved towards a mirror. She froze seeing her face. She was young again. The inkings of grey that had started to appear in her hair were gone. The wrinkles that had started showing were gone. Her hands moved over her body feeling over the muscle she had lost as she aged.
"Everything in order?" Chiyo asked seeing Nana trying to not so subtly check her body out.
"I can't believe it," She looked at her hands. As if they held the answers to why she was young again.
"Now that you're awake we can do a proper check-up," Chiyo stated.
"Then can I see Sora and Toshi?" Nana asks.
"Nezu's probably already calling them," Chiyo replies.
"Who's Nezu?" Nana asks while sitting on the bed so Chiyo could start her tests.
"The current Dean of U.A. University," Chiyo answers.
"When did it become a University?" Nana asks. She had missed out on a lot. U.A. had been a high school when she was young. Not that she went to U.A. or any hero school for that matter.
"Shortly after All Might started hero work. It was decided that fourteen and fifteen-year-olds were too young to be field heroes. So U.A. and all other hero schools became Universities," Chiyo explains. "Now relax we've got a lot of tests to run through,"
~U.A. First Years Dorms~
"It's so awesome that we're all classmates," Eijiro said as he and Hitoshi finished putting down the last couple of boxes.
"Honestly, I'm more surprised you got an entire floor to yourself," Hitoshi joked.
"U.A. Thought it was necessary since I have Daiki," Izumi replied walking out of a side room.
"That just means you get to host movie nights," Ochaco laughed from her spot next to Daiki. The two in the mists of another draw off.
"So can I treat you guys to some pizza as thanks? or are you still all-" Izumi started.
"Heroes For Hire is a nonprofit organization. We will only accept a small amount of Yen for gas money," Eijiro stated with a chuckle. Izumi did this every time.
"Fine fine," Izumi laughs herself handing Eijiro enough to cover a tank of gas.
"Thank you for relying on Heroes For Hire," Eijiro said with a bow.
"He really has this memorized," Hitoshi said with a grin on his face.
"I think it's cute," Izumi smiled.
"Well see you in class. We got another job to get to," Eijiro said a light blush on his cheeks.
"Right see you guys soon," Izumi smiled as the two left.
"Momma," Daiki popped up.
"What's up?" Izumi asked walking over.
"Pizza!" Daiki shouted with a huge smile. Izumi just laughed and nodded.
~Unknown Location: Bar~
A young light blue-haired man scratched at his neck while nursing a glass of alcohol. He didn't like being kept in the dark for as long as he was. Sensei had taken a trip to America to speak with Deathwing weeks ago. He returned but told Tomura nothing of what happened or what they planned. It was frustrating.
"Tomura," The voice of All For One spoke as the door opened and the symbol of evil walked in.
"What?" Tomura asked probably a little too curtly.
"It's time to start our plan," All For One grinned.
"I thought we'd never start," Tomura returned as a wicked smile etched over his face.
~U.A. First-Year Common Room~
Ochaco wasn't sure what to expect when she entered the common room for the dorms. She was expecting lots of talking and maybe some quirk questioning. A shouting match between two students was not what she expected.
"The fuck is wrong with your head?" Hitoshi growled as he glared at an ashy blonde man.
"Nothing's fucking wrong with me," Katsuki shot back.
"Obviously something is if you think it's ok to call someone that," Hitoshi countered. "What kind of jerk thinks 'Shitty Hair' and 'Four Eyes' are good things to call someone?"
"I don't have to explain myself to you extra," Katsuki snapped.
"Extra? Really?" A purple-haired girl interjected. "It's like your brain is set to the insults a six-year-old would think of,"
"I'm pretty sure the five-year-old I know could think of better," Hitoshi said with a smirk.
"I'll fucking kill you," Katsuki growled.
"Ok that's enough," Ochaco ran up putting herself between the two.
"Uraraka-san," Hitoshi took a step back.
"Fuck you want round cheeks?" Katsuki snapped.
"Seriously learn peoples name's," Hitoshi moved forward. Ochaco rolled her eyes and pushed both boys back.
"Don't fucking touch me," Katsuki snapped slapping Ochaco's hand away.
"You two both need to chill," Ochaco stated trying to end the fight.
"I don't need to do a fucking thing. Now get out of my way," Katsuki growled.
"He needs an attitude adjustment," Hitoshi growled ready to fight.
"That's Enough," Everyone stopped. All eyes moved to the front doors. Standing in them with glowing red eyes and floating hair was Aizawa. "Both of you to your rooms now," Hitoshi obeyed and sulked off. Katsuki was about to speak before Aizawa's full glare leveled on him. "Another word and I will expel you. No questions asked and no chance of re-enrollment," With a click of his tongue Katsuki left.
"Uraraka yes?" Shouta asked looking at the girl.
"Yes, Sensei," Ochaco replied.
"Good job trying to stop them," Shouta says before he turns and leaves.
"Well that happened," A pink-skinned girl said.
"What sparked that?" Ochaco asked.
"Blondie was calling everyone extra or a rude nickname when we were trying to get to know each other," The purple-haired woman answered.
"Looking forward to dealing with that all year," Ochaco sighed.
"I don't understand what makes someone that angry," A green-haired woman said.
"So subject change. I'm Ashido Mina my quirk is Acid and I love to dance," Mina said with a big smile.
"Jiro Kyoka, Earphone Jack, and I like music," Kyoka said plainly.
"Uraraka Ochaco my quirk is Zero Gravity and I like spending time with my friends and eating Mochi," Ochaco smiled sitting down with the majority of the class. Each student went giving just a bit of information. After a while the tension finally lifted.
"Hey we're still missing someone, Kero," Tsuyu said. "With Shinso-san and the angry guy that's Nineteen,"
"Oh, Izumi is on the top floor," Ochaco answered.
"The top floor? That's Sensei's apartment. Why is she up there?" Momo asked.
"Maybe she's dating our teacher," Toru said her arms flailing around.
"Apparently they didn't want it so Izumi got it since she has Daiki," Ochaco stated.
"Who's Daiki?" several students asked at once.
"I'm Daiki, The class turned in unison. Standing with a green-haired woman was a young boy. Messy light green hair and a freckled face. His green eyes almost seem shine as he smiled at them.
"Looks like most of the class is here," Izumi said.
"Mochimon!" Daiki ran at Ochaco. The said brunette smiled back and caught the boy as he threw himself at her.
"A pleasure to meet all of you. I'm Midoriya Izumi and that is Midoriya Daiki. My son," Izumi gave a slight bow.
"YOU HAVE A SON!" most of the class screamed. Izumi could only laugh. She never knew it could be so funny to see people react to her being a mother.
~End Notes~ I hope you liked the chapter, let me know what you thought. Also if you want a mental image of Daiki he looks like Izuku just a lot lighter in hair and eye color. Also, both Izumi and Daiki have sharp teeth. A little bit of Dragon leaking through.
