Defence Against the Dark Arts was a joke, at Ilvermorny they weren't afraid of it. That new Professor Umbridge had refused to teach real defence methods, stating that they wouldn't even cast any spells.

He looked at the beginners book and shook his head before defyingly raising his arm in the air. He looked at the front that Hermione had done so as well. "There isn't anything about using defensive spells." She said.

"Using spells?" The fake-barbie said as she chirped out a laugh, "I can't imagine why you'd need to use any spells in my classroom." Other students started to ask questions as well. She argued that they'll never need to use them because there simply was no danger.

Percy reminded himself of the prophecy, sure there was no danger. He was sent here by a prophecy to help Harry defeat Voldemort. Percy also couldn't fathom not using any spells, it was something he'd earn points and grades with.

He listened and watched as

"Yes, student in the back?"

"Percy Grindelwald, ma'am." He quickly introduced himself. "To get our O. we must perform spells, why can't we practice them in this class?"

"The ministry says that knowing the theoretical is enough."

"But the Ministry set up the O. ." Percy argued. "They also need us to cast them to know that we have mastered-"

"No spell casting in my class, mr. Grindelwald." She said sharply, interrupting him.

Percy raised his eyebrows before leaning back in his chair, "Well that is a bunch of fucking bullshit." He stated and watched as the new professor turned red in anger. He hated the way she said his name with judgment, he had come here for the greater good, if he could've stayed at Ilvermorny he would have.

"See me later in my office, Mr. Grindelwald, Mr. Potter." She said with a creepy smile on her face. Percy turned to look at Potter but the guy never looked back at him. They were really stubborn in their beliefs. Some students began to compare her to their former teacher, many looked angered as she called him a 'dangerous half-breed'.

Draco looked like he was agreeing with her and from that moment on he knew that he didn't want to be around the smug guy. But the Professor wasn't done yet, while Harry was sent to Professor McGonagall's office, Percy was sent to Professor Snape's office with a note.

Percy wandered the halls with a note in his hands, he noticed some prefects guarding the halls but they were quick to walk the other way. On his own, he found Professor Snape's office in the dungeons.

He knocked and the professor immediately answered, as if expecting that he'd come to his office. "Your first day at Hogwarts and you're already being sent to my office." Snape said in his monotone voice. "You're not off to a good start, Mr. Grindelwald."

"I'm sorry, sir." Percy genuinely apologized, he could see how it made him represent Slytherin badly, especially since there were points taken from them. "But Professor Umbridge and I had a disagreement, she thought it was necessary for me to be here." He said.

Professor Snape raised his eyebrow, "Do you not think that you should be here? Mr. Grindelwald."

Percy cringed at the constant repeatment of his name, "Please, call mer Percy or Perseus sir." He said and nodded, "I was arguing the fact that we are not going to cast any spells in her class." His ADHD started up again as he started to bounce his leg, his eyes snapped to the various items in the wizard's office.

"Very well, Perseus." He mentioned for him to continue.

"It is just, since I came here to Hogwarts everyone has been wary of me. Three prefects just avoided asking me why I was wandering the halls!" He exclaimed as he leant back into his chair, not noticing the deadpan look on Snape's face. "I know that I am a Gindelwald, but it isn't the only thing that defines me." He complained, "I'm a dueling champion, I have four American titles and an international one. People should fear me for that."

"Quite the accomplishments." The way that Snape said it made Percy unsure whether it is genuine or sarcastic.

"Professor."

"Yes."

"Why are we learning from beginner books?" Percy questioned as he leant forward a bit, "Professor Umbridge mentioned some kind of inconsistency in DADA lessons."

Snape leant forward a bit, "DADA is considered a cursed position to teach at Hogwarts, every year, a new teacher comes and disappears." Percy looked at the few medals on the wall.

"Why don't you teach DADA?" He asked, he recognized the medals from local dueling fights, they looked a bit old.

Snape had a sneer on his face, Percy knows it isn't directed at him. "I am a potions teacher, Perseus. Nothing more." He said and Percy nodded. "You must not rebel in her classes, Perseus." He said, "Heed my warning."

Percy nodded.

The man opened the note and read, "You have a week long detention." He announced and Percy winced, "I think that it is time for your next class."

The godling clumsily walked out of the dungeons and to his herbology class, after a few snide looks, Percy glued his eyes to the ground. He bumped into Luna Lovegood and she fell to the ground with her books.

"Apologies, Luna." Percy quickly said as he helped her pick up her books.

"It's quite alright." She said, looking preoccupied.

Percy awkwardly talked with her, "Did you enjoy the pudding, yesterday?"

"It was lovely." Percy gave her a smile and agreed.

The next day, professors had briefed everyone about their upcoming O.W.L exams. Percy feels quite prepared, Professor Grubbly-Plank also reminded them of it. He kept his distance from Malfoy as he made rude comments about Professor Hagrid.

That evening, Percy stood outside of Umbridge's door. Not wanting to give her the status faction of being late to her detention, thus giving her the chance to give more. He looked up as he heard footsteps. "Harry." He greeted.

Harry nodded at him.

"We can't let her get to us." Percy hummed before checking his watch. He knocked on the door as Harry once again nodded, "Not a man of many words, are you?" Harry, again nodded.

He walked in alongside the chosen one and was given a feather to write with. After seeing the first few words with his messy handwriting, he cringed. "Blood." He muttered under his breath as he continued to write, 'I mustn't argue with a teacher.', his hand ached and his leg bounced.

He paid it no attention. He had held up the sky for his best friend, why would he complain now. At one point they were excused and Percy showed his wand in his wrist holster. "Would you like for me to heal that?" He asked, politely.

Harry shook his head, "That would give her satisfaction." He looked at Percy's mauled up hand, dyslexia and handwriting doesn't go together. "You should heal yours though." Harry said before he walked in the direction of the Gryffindor Tower.

Percy sighed as he walked down to the dungeons. He loved the common room, it was under the lake, giving everything a green tinted look. He dumped all of his stuff and walked up to a bathroom, it was abandoned. No-one went there, it was the perfect place to call.

He opened a tap and heated water came out, he pulled a drachma out of his pocket and said, "Oh fleecy, do me a solid and show me Annabeth Chase."

The sort of video did not appear, "Sorry Perseus but it's an extra cost if you're calling from another country."

Percy nearly growled as he reluctantly pulled out another drachma before throwing it in the damp. He had forgotten about the time as he could see Annabeth in bed, asleep. A lazy hand thrown over her waist by Piper. He quietly swiped through the iris message as he slowly went back down the steps. It was quite late but a few first years were still out of their rooms, studying.

Percy frowned, they are young, they are supposed to be sleeping. "Continue writing that essay." A snobby voice called out Percy nearly rolled his eyes. He stopped at the table, opposing Draco.

"What are you doing?"

Draco smiled, "Starting the half-bloods young, to know their place."

Percy raised his eyebrows and looked away from the kids and at Draco. "So you are letting them copy your," he took a closer look, "Potions homework?"

"They are actually summing it." Draco said with pride. Percy took a deep breath.

"Because they're half-bloods."

"They should know that us, purebloods, are superior to them." He kept saying it with pride and looking over at Percy. Percy scoffed loudly, he tapped the paper of one kid, she looked up.

"You are all dismissed." Percy said, the kids fearfully looked between Draco and Percy. "Go." Percy insisted.

"What are you doing?" Draco asked, his voice seething. He quickly pulled his wand out as he pointed them at the kids. "Sit back down." He ordered and they did so, afraid of being hexed by the white-haired boy.

Percy casually took his wand out, avoiding showing his mauled hand. If Harry wasn't going to give her satisfaction, then Percy won't either. He has had worse. He leveled it at Draco.

"You dare point a wand at me?" He sneered, Percy cocked his head with a smile.

"You're doing the same to me, Malfoy." Percy said, the boy was angry now. Percy saw him move the slightest bit and before Malfoy could say anything, his wand was on the floor. "Expelliarmus." Percy casted.

"Goodnight." He dismissed the younger kids and they quickly ran up the stairs. Draco was red with anger now, he swiftly walked over to his wand and so did Percy. He stepped on his wand, softly as to not damage it. "I do not care about blood." Percy hissed, "Don't do that again or I'll do more than just disarm you."

"You better sleep with one eye open." Malfoy said as soon as he had possession of his wand once again. Percy scowled.

"You don't think I already do?" He glowered and Malfoy made himself a bit smaller. "Everyone at Hogwarts wants me gone." He stated and gave Malfoy a smile as he dusted his shoulders off before holding him up against the wall.

"I won't hesitate to give them a reason to do so." Percy let go of the boy and walked up the stairs and into their shared dorm.

—-—-

"I don't think I've seen Malfoy sneer at a fellow slytherin before." Hermione said as she observed the Slytherin table.

Gryffindor and Slytherin had a shared study hour before they had to go to potions. Hermione had also noticed it at breakfast, Percy sat away from Draco and his gang. It hadn't happened before.

Today it was the first years and fifth years who had study hour together.

At the breakfast table, the youngest kids were elated to see him, they kept asking Percy questions and he'd answer them with a smile.

A hand snapped in front of Hermione's eyes. "Are you listening?" Ron asked, annoyed.

Hermione tore her eyes away from the tan stranger. "What were you saying?"

"We were discussing Grindelwald." Ron said. "Malfoy has started to look angry with him and some first years are starting to admire him." The ginger said and then concluded, "He's starting his building phase of the revolution."

Hermione raised her eyebrows, "I think I know why Malfoy started sneering at him."

"Care to share it?" Harry said as he lightly turned around to sneak a look at him.

Percy sat with the kids and laughed as one transfigured their homework into a flying swan. He showed them how to do it ten minutes ago. He looked carefree. "You see the kids who he's sitting with?" Hermione asked.

"Bunch of first years." Ron said, "They're a bit young to join a revolution, innit?"

Hermione rolled her eyes, "I asked around a bit and they're half-bloods."

"So? He isn't a big supremacist? Just a small one."

"Malfoy must've teased them, he stepped in and disrespected Malfoy in front of everyone."

"Then his egeo would be bruised." Harry said, catching on.

Ron looked a bit confused and Hermione shook her head. Ron has always been stubborn in the way he thinks, he won't have it any other way.

"We've never given him a chance, have we?" Hermione mused as she once again looked over at him.

Percy was smiling and had his wand out to a piece of paper again, this time he transformed it into a horse and put an animation charm on it. Having it parading around.

Suddenly their eyes met and Hermione barely could pull hers away. Stormy eyes, green stormy eyes. As if there was a battle happening inside.

"I don't think we have." Harry agreed.

"Well, we're not about to," he leant over the table and quietly said, "He's a Grindelwald. A few more words and he'll use slurs against you."

"He's sitting with half-bloods." Hermione argued.

"Because no-one in his year likes him." Ron said as the bell rang. He lazily stood up and gathered his things together. "I'm telling you, he's a slimy snake, just like the rest of his house." Ron said.

Hermione stood up and watched as Percy high-fived some of the students before they walked out of the door. Then he did something peculiar, he glared at Malfoy as the kids passed the guy. Hermione saw him tense his wand hand as Percy passed him.

"They're definitely fighting." Hermione noted and walked through the halls of Hogwarts and into the dungeons, Percy walking alone in front of them.

Ron just shook his head and Harry lingered his eyes on him.

They walked through the class and he sat besides Tracey Davis, someone Hermione barely saw outside of class. They exchanged a few words and Tracey was caught laughing at a joke Percy said.

Hermione finally turned her head towards the front to listen to Professor Snape. "Some of you will benefit from today's assignment: Wit-Sharpening Potion. Perhaps you should begin immediately." He said and Hermione rolled her eyes, so typical of him to insult everyone.

She immediately started with the potion, even though it wasn't her favorite or best subject, it was definitely something she was good at. She even brewed a polyjuice potion, which is one of the more advanced ones.

However, she wasn't as concentrated as she usually was, some melody sounded from the table next to her. She looked over and found out that Percy already was at the fourth step of the potion which was surprising, normally they'd have to spend a long time to keep the temperature constant so that it doesn't affect the potion.

But what she noticed about him was that he was whistling, she recognized it. "A muggle song." She whispered under her breath and Harry sat up from beside her, "You recognize it, Harry?" She asked, softly.

Suddenly someone tapped her table, she expected it to be Snape, ready to scold her but she was pleasantly surprised when she saw Percy stand at the corner of her table. "You should cut your ginger roots a bit finer." He advised softly, not wanting to gain any unwanted attention. "And ground your scarab beetles right before you add it."

Hermione raised her eyebrows, "But the book doesn't say it." She countered.

Percy shrugged, "It enhanced the potion." He said before he walked back over to his desk. It had only been half an hour so far. "Are we going to listen to him?" Harry quietly asked.

Ron was staring from his desk and scowled at the direction where Percy sat. Hermione nodded, "Let's do that." She said.

After five minutes, Tracey and Percy were done brewing their potion. Hermione was surprised to find it as another color than the book intended. Their potion showed more of a red color.

She watched as Professor Snape looked over, "Is this your potion, Perseus, Mrs. Davis?"

Percy nodded, "Yes, Professor." He said and smiled. "Did you follow the instructions that I have written on the board?" He questioned.

Percy shook his head. "No sir," Snape squinted at the potion.

"Twenty points to slytherin for creating the perfect potion using his own instructions." Snape said and Hermione's eyes widened, he had never given extra points to anyone, not even a slytherin. Percy must've impressed Snape greatly.

The boy just nodded and smiled.

"Bottle it and keep it, Mr. Grindelwald, Mrs. Davis." Percy's smile faded so fast, if Hermione didn't see it she probably would say that she's hallucinating. Percy looked over at Hermione after bottling it. He gave her a small smile and motioned for her to stir the potion.

Hermione smiled back and did so.

"I see…" Snape's voice rang out in front of her, her head snapped up. "Perseus, have you given her advice?"

Percy cocked his head at the Professor. "Yes sir, that's only because if not stirred for a long amount of time it could be explosive."

The corner of Snape's mouth quirked up, slightly. "I see…" He repeated, "See me after this lesson, Perseus."

Percy looked a bit pale, Hermione could nearly compare him to Snape. "Thank you." She quietly said.

He just shook his head and smiled, "It's the least I could do."

Percy liked talking with Tracey and Luna. They were the only ones who actually wanted to hang-out with him, aside from some of the first year Slytherins. It was a really bad situation to be a half-blood in the snake house.

He sat outside by the lake with the Slytherin and the Ravenclaw. "I just don't understand." Percy complained, "He called me Perseus until he gave me points, and after that he just continued to call me Perseus."

"Maybe it is positive affirmation." Tracey says, "Make you come to terms with your last name." Luna just nodded, reading her upside down magazine. He wore his shirt and jumper again, something you cannot go wrong with.

"Regardless," Percy continued, not really wanting to talk about his family name anymore, "Does Snape not reward many points?"

"I don't think I've ever seen him do that." Tracey admitted. Luna wasn't paying attention, reading her book. "Should we go to Hogsmeade?" Tracey suddenly asked.

Percy looked at her, "What is there to do in Hogsmeade."

Tracey shrugged, "I don't go out often, but I do go out for some butter beer." That got Luna's attention.

"I want some butterbeer as well. But watch out, they have mistletoes hanging." She then fidgeted with her necklace. "The narkles could get to you."

Percy gave her a smile, "You can check me for nargles when we get back." He said.

The three stood up and gathered their things, Percy had brought a small ball to throw up in the air. He looked out over the lake, "Are we allowed to swim?"

"I don't see why not, although you should beware of the inhabitants." Tracey said vaguely before Percy shrugged and followed her to a carriage to take them to Hogsmeade. He loved the thestrals.

"Why do you see them?" Luna suddenly asked, Percy looked at the witch and smiled. "Because I've seen someone die in front of me." He answered.

"I see them because I saw my mother die." She said and hummed as she looked around. Percy gave her a small smile, it wasn't a pity smile.

"I saw a distant family member die in front of me, during a duel." He looked at the sky, the carriage was passing between trees and he saw the rift between the green and the blue. He could imagine the night and looking up at the Huntress.

He took in a deep breath as the carriage stopped, Davis looked at him with a complicated look, as if trying to figure him out. Luna looked like she did as always, distracted. He smiled fondly, "I'm glad that you're my friends." He said and Tracey smiled a thim.

Luna beamed, "It looked like we were friends." She nodded.

Tracey cocked her head, "Because we are."

"Oh." She said, calmly.

Percy looked around and thought it was charming, "Where do we go for a butterbeer?" Tracey led the path to the Three Broomsticks Inn. It was welcoming, more so than Hogwarts itself.

The slytherin girl led them to a small booth and they ordered. Percy watched people as he waited for his butterbeer, occasionally talking with Tracey. "Luna?" A voice called out and the three curiously looked over.

Harry Potter smiled at her, and then at the other two, but it was a lot more timid. "Could we join you guys?" He asked and looked around, "It's a bit busy."

Percy shrugged and Tracey definitely didn't care, Luna just shrugged. Harry took that as a sign to join them, and soon came Hermione and Ron. Percy sat opposing the Weasley, who couldn't stop glaring at him.

"So," Harry said awkwardly, "You did a nice job at potions, Percy."

Percy smiled and thanked him before taking a sip of his butterbeer. He sneaked a look at Hermione. She was wearing muggle clothes, it was a striped sweater, a darker shade of grey than Annabeth's eyes. It was charming, to say the least. He cleared his throat and smiled, "You have a nice sweater, Hermione." He said quietly, ignoring the look that Ron was giving her.

"Do you mean jumper?" Ron said in a know-it-all voice.

Percy cocked his head, "That's the word for a sweater here?" He questioned.

Ron rolled his eyes, "Stupid yankee." He muttered under his breath and Percy sat up straight.

"Is that supposed to be offensive?" Percy asked, tiredly, nursing his butterbeer.

Ron sat up as well before Hermione cut in, "That is just what we call Americans here." She then gave Percy a tight smile.

Percy bit the inside of his cheek and nodded awkwardly. It was quiet for a few more minutes until Harry spoke up, "I don't think we got off to a good start."

Percy snorted, "No we didn't." He said and looked at the Chosen One. "You guys are still somewhat cautious of me, maybe less, but still cautious." He said and looked at Ron. "And you don't like me at all." He gestured at him.

"Don't point your finger at me!" Ron said as he stood up abruptly.

Percy cocked his head as he didn't move his hand, "Why shouldn't I point my finger at you, Weasley?" He questioned.

"Maybe you can do wandless magic, maybe you'll just hex me." Ron accused him and Percy sighed before putting his hands flat on the table. "So you were about to hex me!"

Percy shook his head, "No Weasley, it's the latter." He said, annoyed.

Hermione raised her eyebrow at him, "You can practice wandless magic?" She then somewhat asked, quieter. "But your uhm, Gellert could also practice magic, couldn't he?"

A small smile, and a nod. "It's something in the family that we all learn. We do not like to be defenseless." He said.

"Why would you need to defend yourself?" Ron said with an accusing tone and Percy just sighed, tired of this little debate between them. If you could even call it a debate, Percy was the calm one.

"Voldemort." Percy said, quite bluntly, a few heads turned. "You think after killing my great-grandfather, that he wouldn't come for his sons or daughters?" Percy was getting a little mad now, having to explain everything to the ginger, "Are you going to keep accusing me of baseless things?" Percy slowly began to stand up as well, but quickly noticed that everyone around them had gone quiet and was watching him.

They wanted him to blow up, and be gone. Percy clenched his jaw and sat back down, after a few more seconds, they continued to mind their business. "I apologize for Ron." Hermione suddenly said.

Percy looked at the girl, she was biting the inside of her cheek, he noticed and he gave her a smile, "I don't accept apologies not coming from the person themselves." He said quietly, not meaning anything bad to Hermione.

Hermione looked a bit disappointed as Ron stood up and stormed off. "I'll buy you a butterbeer instead." He said as he looked at the empty pint.

Percy just nodded as he stared at the table. "Percy, if I may ask a question." Hermione suddenly said, "What did Snape want from you, after class?"

He looked up with raised eyebrows as he gave a small smile at her question, "He wanted to offer me the password to the potions-mixing room." Percy answered.

Hermione gasped, "That's for advanced students." She gaped and Harry remembered about the time that he was stopped to go in the classroom by Snape in his first year. "Who's in it as well?"

"I think I might be the only one." Percy said after a while and frowned, "Is Snape not liked?" He questioned and Tracey rolled her eyes from beside him.

"He actually likes Snape."

"I thought all Slytherins like Snape." Harry blurted out and Percy laughed as he covered his mouth with one hand, he looked a bit embarrassed.

"We respect him, of course, but some are wary and some don't like him with how strict he is." Tracey said and Percy raised his eyebrows.

"But he is a good instructor?"

"But a bad teacher." Hermione said. Percy nodded slowly. "You're the first exception he made for not following the potion instructions."

"Only because it came out great." Percy argued.

"Don't lie." Luna said, out of the blue. "While mum used to experiment with spells, she was a master at potion making. You are very good at making potions."

Percy had a slight blush on his neck at the praise, not used to getting it from Luna nor did he expect it. "Thank you, Luna." He said softly and turned back to Hermione, who didn't seem to like the man, at all, "I think Snape is just misunderstood." he debated.

"He can be genuinely nice. Like he barely lectured me when I was sent to his office by Umbridge, he even complimented me," He then turned to Harry, "We have detention today, if you remember." and turned back to Hermione, "Yes, he is strict. But potions are delicate, I told you to stir otherwise it would blow up. He is strict because it prevents injuries." He argued.

"But not every potion will blow up, yet he takes points away from everyone except Slytherin." Hermione countered. Percy saw a waitress walk over with a tray of butterbeers, he quickly handed them out and tipped the waitress. "Thank you," Hermione said before she continued to argue, "Ever since our first year he has had some kind of personal grudge against us, and Ron." She added.

Percy nodded and shrugged, "I don't know what you guys did in your first year here, so I wouldn't be able to argue that." He held his hand out and gave her a smile.

Confused, she reached over and shook his hand, "Nice counters, good arguing with you." Percy said, not really knowing what he was doing, but he noticed that she has soft hands.

"You too?" Hermione said, a bit questionaly. "Snape actually complimented you?" Hermione questioned.

"I didn't know he could do that."

Percy huffed in amusement, "About my accomplishments."

Hermione raised a questioning eyebrow at him. "I'm a dueling champion." He disclosed. "Four American titles and one International."

"All by the age of 15." She said impressed.

"I'm 16, actually." He corrected her with a faint smile, "Turning 17."

"You stayed behind for a year?" Tracey asked, realizing that she actually doesn't know much about Grindelwald.

Percy nodded, "There was a situation." He said and rubbed the back of his head. Hermione raised her eyebrow at him, a bit wary once again after letting her guard down. "I had memory loss for about half a year, I couldn't go to school then."

Hermione frowned, feeling a bit bad about immediately assuming the worst, thinking that he was planning a revolution with You-Know-Who. It was a bit awkward after that.

Percy checked his watch and looked at Luna and Tracey, "We should get a carriage. I promised the first years that I would teach them a fun spell." He said and stood up, gathering his coat from the rack, it was starting to get chilly out.

Hermione quickly stood up, "We'll join you!" She said abruptly, Percy paused as he was putting his jacket on and looked at her curiously. "I have to help Ron with some homework." She exclaimed and not so subtly, nudged Harry.

"Y-Yeah!" Harry agreed and Percy just shrugged. He held the door open as everyone walked out of the pub and into the streets, it wasn't that busy anymore due to most stores being closed already.

They wandered the streets in silence, it wasn't awkward or tense but it was just silence. Percy enjoyed it as he looked at the town, he loved the feel of it, he even loved the architecture, which was outdates.

They got to the carriages and Hermione struck up the conversation, "What are you teaching the first years?" She asked.

"Glisseo." He said with a smile on his face, oh they would just love it.

Hermione looked at him, "You know that it can be quite dangerous, right?" She said, the prefect revealing itself in her.

Percy nodded, acknowledging the fact, "I'm going to be clear about casting it where and when." He said, "You can deduct points if you catch them doing it unsafely." He smiled, glad that someone was looking out for them. Unlike Draco.

"Why do they like you so much?" Harry asked, he didn't mean for it to come over that everyone dislikes Percy but it did, a bit. "I didn't mean it lik-"

Percy gave him a tug of the lips and waved it away as they sat on the carriage, he reached over and petted the animals. "They were forced to do Draco's homework." He said quietly, "It was some showcase of power, to put half-bloods in their place." He noticed Hermione wincing. "I stopped him and might have threatened him a little."

Tracey snorted, "He hadn't stopped talking about telling his father." She said, "He isn't happy that you've disarmed him."

Percy rolled his eyes in exasperation. "He pulled his wand on me." He stated, "I am a dueling champion, I will not go down like the titanic."

Hermione laughed and Harry snickered. Luna and Tracey looked quite confused. Hermione looked at Luna and apologized, "Sorry, it's a muggle thing." She said and Luna nodded, looking off into the distance once again.

Hermione looked at Percy, "How do you know about the titanic." From her knowledge, the wizarding world and muggle world weren't connected by anything, including the Titanic. Any wizards on that boat apparated the moment they could, and most did, alerting the ministry of their presence.

Wanted wizards like to take boats.

Non-suicidal wizards like to live and apparate off sinking boats.

Percy smiled as he thought about how, "A muggle friend told me." Annabeth had made a reference to it and when Percy didn't laugh at the poorly constructed joke.

"A muggle friend?"

Not their type of muggle but mortal, yeah. "Annabeth." He said with a fond smile. "She's someone I met at camp. She educated me on a lot of muggle things."

Hermione looked genuinely curious, "Such as?"

"Movies, series." He was very enthusiastic about that. It isn't like their pictures where the person in them moves, but an actual moment that they had recorded some time ago and put it on some muggle tape for others to see.

"Have you watched 'Sense and sensibility?" Hermione gasped.

Percy looked at her confused, "I've only watched Friends and a few movies so far." He stated, "I do not know of a 'Sense and Sensibility.'" He stated.

"Friends?" Hermione then squinted at him, "American?"

Percy nodded and squinted back at Hermione, "British?"

Hermione nodded seriously, and Percy felt a smile grow on his face. Glad that they were getting along.

The carriage stopped and together they walked in the direction of Hogwarts castle.

Percy then thought about his first time watching a movie, it was an eye-opening experience. After watching his first movie with Annabeth, they watched many muggle movies together. Percy enjoyed watching the moving pictures on some electrifying screen. They talked about a bunch more movies, accidentally leaving out Tracey and Luna.

When Percy noticed, he tried to tell them about it, describing it in a very clumsy way. He continued his attempt at describing until Hermione cut in and explained it shortly. He flushed, a bit embarrassed.

Hermione laughed and told him it's fine. "You weren't raised as a muggle."

Percy cocked his head at her, "You're a muggle-born?"

"Yes." Hermione said after she froze for a second.

"What are those like, this tall-ish," He pointed to his stomach, "Things with like, the rectangle at the bottom?"

Hermione looked surprised and had a humorous look in her eyes, "What kind of function does it have?"

Percy shrugged, "I plugged it in, held the rectangle thing up and pressed the button. It started to suck air."

Harry and Hermione seemed to be holding in a laugh as they looked at the clueless and slightly desperate Percy. "What is it?" He interrogated. "It's some ghost sucker right?" He said and took his wand out and waved with it, casting the Skurge charm. Causing a sucking whirlpool of air into his wand. "Like this? Instead of ectoplasm just for ghosts?" He suggested, "Just a muggle version?"

Hermione and Harry were laughing now, Harry even started to slap his knee. "It's a hoover!" Hermione declared and Percy looked even more confused. "It sucks up all the dust from the ground."

Percy looked even more confused. "So not for ghosts?"

Hermione shook her head, laughing slightly. Her eyes squinted slightly and her mouth stretched into a smile. Her cheeks were flushed because of the laughing. He looked at her with a dumb smile on his face.

But really, he will have to message Nico about canceling the idea. He wasn't going to be sucking any ghosts with the hoover.

"Have you seen Ghostbusters?" Harry suddenly asked.

Percy looked confused once again and looked at Hermione who was keeping her laugh once again, "No? What is it?" he asked.

"It's a movie," That got Percy's intention as he looked a bit excited. "Scientists capture and contain ghosts around New York."

Hermione grinned at Percy, "Best thing is? They do it with some kind of hoover." She admitted and Percy's jaw dropped. "You're from America, aren't you supposed to know this?" She asked.

Percy shrugged, "When I said I only watched a few movies, I mean a few." to be precise. The Godfather for one and Forrest Gump and just a small bit of Pulp Fiction. Those were the only tapes Annabeth had so far, random tapes that were sent by her father.

In the corner of his eyes he noticed Ron. He felt a bitter taste in his mouth as his mood was ruined, the boy didn't like him for a last name. Ron didn't like him because of his accusations.

He cleared his throat as he noticed a few slytherin first years around the corner, watching and peeking. Spying on him, jokingly. "I've got to go." He said, casting one last look at Ron and turned to the group.

"I'll see you in class, Hermione, Harry." He said cordially, to Luna. "Class." And then at Tracey, "Want to help me teach the kids?" He asked.

Tracey smiled and nodded, happy to do so. "Great." He smiled and waved as he departed from the group. The bitter feeling following him around as he noticed the ginger in a foul mood.

A/N: Ron redemption arc coming soon! (Tho he has valid points, but still has an asshole way of saying it)
