Hagrid was the first one at the door and had already knocked, Ron immediately ran over to his friend and started hugging him as well, Hermione ran over and kissed his cheek and hugged the boy.
They all walked into the house where the Dudley's lived, he always gets a weird feeling whenever he walks into an empty house that has obviously been lived in. It looks haunted.
Personally, Percy is just glad that he still was a member of the order at all. The first meeting since Dumbledore's death was a heavy one. Moody didn't really like the thought of Percy being in the Order at first but quickly realized that there had been a lot of moments when he was needed.
The room was piled with everyone, the Weasley's were there, naturally, Remus and his wife Tonks, Hagrid and even Kingsley. Then there was one more guy but Percy really, hadn't seen him before. They all said their greetings and had their small conversations before Moody walked through the crowd.
"You're still underage, that means you've still got the trace on you." Moody said and Percy cringed, the trace was seriously the worst thing on a demigod who gets in trouble all the time.
Moody briefly explained it and Percy's hand unconsciously found Hermione's. "We go in pairs!" He let go of her hand and tried to hold back his laugh as his girlfriend nervously shuffled forward a bit, knowing what was going to happen next.
She sent him a dirty look and continued to listen to Alastor. The auror pulled out his flask and it opened, hissingly. "No. Absolutely not." Harry exclaimed.
His girlfriend sighed, "I told you he'd take it well," She said sarcastically and Percy snorted. Gods, he loves it when she's sarcastic. The three Gryffindors started to argue and Fred and George butted in.
"Well, none of us fancy it, mate." Fred complained and George continued their line of thought, "Yeah, imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as scrawny, specky gits forever."
Percy snorted and shook his head, "That'd be a nightmare, no offense Harry, but I quite like my body."
Ron laughed quietly, "Well, so does Hermione." The girl turned around to give Ron the stinky eye while she was blushing and Percy just laughed and wiggled his eyebrows at her.
"Don't go acting like you weren't giggling about the size of his ar-"
Moody tapped his cane on the ground once again, gaining everyone's attention again. Hermione glared at Percy and Ron before looking back at the auror. Percy just pointed at himself looking confused. "Everyone here's of age, Potter, and they've all agreed to take the risk."
Percy nodded at Harry. Sirius walked up and slapped his godson's back.
"All right, Granger, as discussed." Moody said and Percy snickered as Hermione immediately on cue pulled some hair from Harry's head and walked over to Alastor.
"Blimey, Hermione."
Percy snorted, that rhymed. Soon the potion was being passed around the group and he watched them cringe at the taste. He was so glad that he wasn't selected to turn into Harry.
"Wow. We're identical." Percy bursted out laughing, the twins were always going to be twins. No matter what. "Shut up and strip!" Moody ordered and Percy snickered.
Seriously, all this is funny to him, just as long as they all come out of the fight alive. Percy stripped and got into some random musty clothes that Moody had gathered. "Gods." He muttered as he looked at everyone changing.
"Just don't think about the smell." Hermione's voice said. "Try wearing it."
Percy chuckled and looked at Harry with Hermione's voice, he then squinted and pinched her arms, she cringed and hit his arm. "Harry, you should really try out some push ups." He said and then put a hand around Hermione's arm, "You've got no muscle, really."
Hermione pushed him off and rolled her eyes at her boyfriend.
"Seriously though!"
Moody started barking around orders and before they left Percy took Hermione's hand in his but quickly cringed, letting go of her. "Gods, I can't wait until this works out. I'd rather kiss you and not Harry."
Hermione giggled, "Stop it." She said and hit his shoulder.
They mounted Blackjack and listened as Moody counted down. Blackjack didn't look like a pegasus but rather a Thestreal, Percy would like to not have a bounty on his pegasus' head, so a simple mist combined charm would do.
At the count of three they were all in the air, flying besides one another. Thunder raged through the sky and Percy was impressed with the scale the storm was. He could create that easily but through magic it is a rather hard spell to master, and the power you must have to make it that big.
Well, he supposes that Voldemort had some help from his death eaters.
Immediately they were ambushed, Percy counted forty but realistically it was closer to thirty. Just the way that everyone was flying around. He and Hermione were shooting spells like crazy, all he heard were spells being casted and lights to avoid.
Blackjack was doing a good job to keep cool under the pressure. On Moody's orders, the two followed Hagrid and Harry. The only one being able to keep up were them, Percy had to argue that there will be death eaters going after Harry, he had allowed for it but had to rejoin the rest immediately.
As soon as they entered the tunnel, Percy had to go above, there was no way that he could go in there without questions being asked about what he was riding, besides, a huge pegasus wouldn't do well in tunnels.
They kept shooting stunning spells at the death eaters that still chased them. The amount in the tunnels turned into three as five followed after the flying horse. Quickly they fought them off as Harry emerged from the tunnel with only one on their tail.
The godling's breath hitched as he noticed that Hagrid went limp and that Harry was riding the motorcycle himself. Blackjack finally caught up to them but only after a flash of white hit Harry's owl.
They stunned the death eater and laid back, ten seconds they counted down before rejoining the rest of their battle. If something happens in those ten seconds with Harry, they are to stay with him until it got quiet again.
Harry's painful screaming started again and Percy ducked after the boy, "His scar!" Hermione said loudly. Their eyes were scanning around them because they couldn't find any death eaters on brooms but then he realized how stupid it actually sounded.
Why should Voldemort be wearing a death eater suit?
Percy and Hermione casted spells at the dark clouds following him but one quickly turned back to target them while the other followed after Harry. He didn't recognize who the death eater was but Percy kept casting spells.
Quickly they saw the battle between Harry and Voldemort, he had won and Hagrid had woken up again. The dark lord was throwing a tantrum and Percy stayed in the sky, looking around for a second before heading back.
There were two minutes of peace before they rejoined the fray. The hairs on his arm stood straight up as they heard Bellatrix' manic laughing. He felt Hermione clutch the back of his jacket. They quickly pass by Tonks and the two synchronize as they casted a stunning spell at the Lestrange.
Quickly more death eaters dropped from the sky and those remaining eventually turned apparated out of there. More flashes of black happened in the storm and eventually they all broke off in pairs once again and headed back to the Burrow, they were one of the firsts.
By the time they arrived, they had turned back into their original self. He landed when Lupus held his wand out to him, threatening. Immediately, Percy leveled his wand at the werewolf as well. "What do you think you're doing?" He asked slowly.
"We've got a traitor." Remus said, "What is the first line of the prophecy about you."
"A wizard of Greek descent shall emerge, seasoned in strife." He answered and he put his wand away after Remus did. Hermione took Percy's hand in hers as Remus walked off to greet his wife.
"You didn't tell me about a prophecy." She said.
Percy shrugged, "It came from Trelawney, I didn't really think it was legit, to be honest." He admitted and smiled down at her. "I'm glad you didn't get hurt." He said softly as he pulled her closer and kissed her lightly.
"Seriously?" Harry's voice said from the side.
Percy laughed as he pulled away from Hermione. His laughter quickly stopped as he heard another crack and a wail of pain. He ran over to the sound, abandoning Harry and Hermione. Quickly he got to Moody's side. Blood was everywhere, oozing from wounds on his abdomen.
He recognized the wounds and he looked back up to see Harry running over. He quickly got his wand out, "Vuln-"
"No!" The man argued, only flailing his hands around. "Who are you!"
"Percy Grindelwald." He answered and looked at Harry, "Hold him down!" He barked out and tried again, "Vulnera Sanentur."
"Snape." Harry said breathlessly, also recognizing the familiar spell made by the former potions teacher. Percy cursed under his breath, either Snape had given them up because he was a traitor. Or he had given them up to save his face. Either way they were ambushed.
Like the bleeding man said, this was the last plan that Dumbledore had ensured before he was murdered.
In a matter of a few seconds, the freshly healed Moody was being carried away into the Burrow and Percy stayed outside by the fields to wash his bloody hands. He took in a shuddering breath as he watched the red wash away from his hands.
His breath quickened and he was quickly looking at his hands in horror. "Gods have bloody hands." He said and repeated himself a few times. His hands rubbing over one another trying to get the blood off. "The war is over." He whispered.
Everything had happened too fast, it was as if he was thrown back into the Second Titan War. Flying around New York and killing adversaries, mostly monsters but he won't forget the demigods. The fighting had reminded him of everything, everything was getting back in his head. "Only the dead have seen the end of the war." He whispered and he wiped a few tears.
'Only the dead have seen the end of the war.' It was something Annabeth had told him before he had to leave for England. It was supposed to be a comfort to him that he was going on a quest again in order to fight and protect. It was supposed to be a comfort that the fighting never ends.
Percy's breathing evened out and he looked at the shadow behind him. He was on his knees, in the water between the crops, it had been raining a lot because of the storm. He was soaked and he blinked as a hand rested on his shoulder.
Instinctively, he put a hand over hers. "You're okay now." Hermione comforted. She must have been close to hear it, or at least parts of it. "The fighting is over." She said and squatted behind Percy to wrap an arm around his shoulder and pull him closer.
When he was first selected as praetor of New Rome, he and Reyna sat down and talked. She then asked him, 'So who takes care of you?' and at that moment he didn't know. He thought of saying that Annabeth takes care of him, or his mother. But truly he has never spent more than three months together with Annabeth, he could only spend time with his mother when he had time free.
At that very moment he said, 'I do' but in Hermione's embrace he could tell that he no longer had to take care of himself alone, but now Hermione took care of him as well.
"There is no blood left, Percy." She said quietly, Percy stopped and looked down at his hands. They were pressed together, he had been cleaning them unconsciously. He didn't know why this reaction suddenly erupted in him, when Harry fought with Draco, he didn't react the same way that he did now.
He supposes that he had prioritized Harry at that very moment, a distraction that made him wait out the storm in his head.
That night he slept with Hermione on the couch. Sleeping in Ron's room with Harry had no use as he'll just end up on the couch like last time. Molly wasn't happy about the arrangement at first but Hermione took her aside to debate about it.
"He's been having flashbacks."
"Of what? He's just a kid!" Molly argued, whispering.
He could already imagine the frown on Hermione's face.
—
His hand in his pocket over his pen as he heard footsteps through the hallways, he silently got out underneath Hermione's arm and walked to the front door. He watched from the door frame as Harry and Ron spoke.
He rubbed his eyes and let out a breath, it was typical of Harry. Going out on his own, Percy had tried it many times before as well, as a teen. Going out on his own because enough sacrifices have been made. He nearly did that with the labyrinth.
Watching the two boys talk it out, Ron picked Harry's bag up from the ground and shouldered it. Making sure that the two were heading back to the house, Percy stealthily sneaked back onto the couch.
Gently, he picked up Hermione's arm and put it over his chest again. She let out a relieved breath in her sleep and buried her head into his neck. He smiled softly and picked the hair out of her face and tugged it behind her ear.
The girl smiled and continued to be asleep. Percy pressed his lips against her forehead and closed his eyes, fast asleep under the arms of his significant other.
—
They've all been put to work so there was little time to talk to Ron and Harry about their little adventure. Hermione had been picking up between their glances and had told Percy about it, talking about how it's always them talking to each other but never them talking to Hermione.
Percy just nodded and listened to her rant. He stood beside Hermione, standing outside to help everyone with pitching the tent up. It was looking rather grand and Percy was excited for a party, he hadn't been to properly enjoyed one in a long while.
"You've got lint on your waistcoat." Hermione tutted as she stopped ranting for a moment and picked at his waistcoat.
"Thanks, love." He grinned at her, "You just saved me from a lint, my hero." He teased and kissed her cheek. She rolled her eyes at him, "When are you getting dressed?" He asked.
"After this." She said and looked over at the tent, the Weasley's were doing the last of the pitching and she shrugged, "Looks like they have it done." She said and turned around.
"Need a hand?" Percy joked.
The girl didn't scold him about the suggestive joke and opted to look at him before walking to the house. May the gods have blessed him because that was not a no. He immediately followed in her footsteps and he wrapped his arms around her waist as they walked into the house.
He peppered her neck with kisses before the girl turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck before pulling him down for a kiss. Percy smiled and hummed into the kiss but was quickly interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
The two stop kissing and turn to the noise, "Yes, Ron?" Hermione asked, blushing as she loosened her arms that were around Percy's neck.
"The Minister of Magic is here." He said nervously and the two jumped apart immediately, looking around Percy's eyes and stopped on the figure heading in their direction. "I agree with Harry, actually. You two snog quite a lot."
"We do more th-" A hand was clamped over his mouth as Hermione was blushing. He looked at her with a deadpan expression.
"You two just have bad timing, always walking in on us." She complained and Harry rounded the corner.
"Again?" He looked at Ron.
Percy nodded, still with the hand over his mouth. "Could you let go please." He asked but it came out muffled. Hermione looked back at her boyfriend and removed the hand with an apologetic smile.
The godling huffed and shook his head in amusement.
"Mr. Potter?" The Minister of Magic said as he opened the door, "Mr. Ron Weasley and Miss. Granger?" The three nodded and Percy moved to walk out of the house, "Mr. Grindelwald, you're needed as well."
Percy stopped in his steps and turned around slowly, looking confused. He nodded and walked over to sit down besides Hermione. Ron got his Deluminator, Percy's ears perked up as he recognized the build of the sentences that Dumbledore wrote down.
Instructing. An old tales book to be instructive. That man was leaving clues even in his death. "Oh, c'mon, Babbity Rabbity."
Harry and Hermione looked at him like he was insane but Percy nodded in amusement, "That was a good one." He agreed and Ron looked relieved that one of them agreed. Ron sometimes forgets that they didn't grow up in a magical home unlike them.
They never had their magical tales about some old wise witch.
With a golden snitch in his hands, Harry looked surprised as the minister argued about who the Sword Of Gryffindor really belonged to. Hermione got involved and Percy hid a smug smile under his hand, the moment she got involved was the moment men ran to cry by their mothers.
But due to the man being important she didn't argue with him any further. "And to you, Perseus Grindelwald." He read and looked back at him, an interested look in his eyes. "A young man with many titles, and no permanent place that could be called home. I bequeath unto you the house I had built for my love and what would've been our future. As you know, the future required change, but change was missing. May this be a place that can be used to build your own future, in spite of destiny. It is a fine estate with no memories except that it was built with intent for a family. I hope that you and Miss. Granger, make use of it however you two would like." The minister took in a breath, and squinted at it. "Fresh ink." The man hummed and read out the last few words.
"Our connection felt profound, almost like family. It was comforting to imagine you as a reflection of your great-grandfather. However, as time passed, it became evident that you possess your own distinct identity, separate from those who came before you." He read and the paper closed.
Percy blinked as he lifted his hand from Hermione's knee to accept the key that the minister handed over. He felt a bit choked up, the insecurity about his future was something that Dumbledore must've figured out right away. "Since when was that put in the will, do you happen to know that?" He asked quietly.
"It's quite recent that these changes have been made." The minister said and looked at it. "The first paragraph was written in January of 1996." The man looked closer at the new added paragraph. "The last one was written in June of 1997."
"The month of his death." Hermione whispered and her hand found his. Intertwined, she squeezed his hand. The man left while Perseus kept looking at the keys in his hands. After a minute of talking, Harry and Ron got the message and left the room as well.
He had a lump in his throat. "Aren't you scared?" he asked quietly.
"Of what, Percy?" Hermione asked as her concerned eyes stared at her boyfriend.
"This." He said and held the key up, "He left this for us, our future." He whispered.
Hermione looked at the key, "It said to your future."
"I see us together in my future, do you?" Percy asked.
"I do not plan on leaving you." Hermione said and put their intertwined hands on his knee. She kissed his cheek and he looked at her. "I'm not leaving anytime soon."
He smiled softly, "Good because if the house was intended for a family. That makes it our house and our future." He whispered and kissed her forehead. He felt insecure about the future, growing up, especially after learning about his godly heritage and their average age that they reach.
He was there now, in the moment. Holding a key to a house, holding her hand and he knew that the future will be bright. As long as he has her on his side he will look forward to the future.
"I need to get dressed." Hermione said quietly and stood up. She quickly reached down and pressed a short yet meaningful kiss against his lips. "Stay here or else I'll never get dressed up." She whispered.
Percy laughed and watched her go up the stairs. He quickly reached for his bag and folded the papers before dropping it in the limitless bag. Something in him wanted to hold onto the key as if it was a stick like Frank's. But he dropped it in the bag as well.
—
"Percy!" Fleur called out, "Come here!"
He frowned in confusion as he was called over by Fleur, he had been running around the house being sent around to do different things by Molly which definitely was a way to keep them apart and separate.
He hadn't even had the time to see Hermione in her dress.
"You're Percy Grindelwald, non?" A deep voice said and he nodded as he looked at the man where it came from.
"Oui." He answered, the man he presumes to be Fleur's father, the son of Venus. He took his hand and started shaking feverishly. Percy blinked as he saw the rapid shaking. "Nice to meet you, monsieur Delacour." He replied in french. "Thank you for your war effort, son."
Looking over at Fleur's mother who didn't share the same enthusiasm as her father, but still held her hand out. He blinked as it was a flat hand. He looked at Fleur questioningly and just saw her cringe.
He saw the silver glow come off of her and he remembered the veela part of them. Right, he wasn't attracted to them due to their magic coming from sea creatures. But not to make her mad, he knew how Veela's are when you make them mad, he took her hand in his and kissed the back of her hand.
"Salut." The little girl said, well not so little anymore. The girl has grown since he last saw her at the demigod celebration in New Rome. He smiled over at her and crouched down.
"Gabrielle?" He asked and she nodded, "Ca va? Oh man you've grown." He exclaimed. The little girl batted her eyes at him and he stood back up. Looking over at Fleur with wide eyes before he turned back to Mr. Delacour.
"Excuse me, I believe that Mrs. Weasley needs me." He said and shook the fathers hand once more before he walked away. The time was slowly nearing for the wedding to start. He looked around to find Molly and quickly approached a ginger boy, he turned the boy around and frowned.
"Who're you?"
"It's me, Harry." He said and Percy blinked a few times before biting his lip and laughing out loud. "What do you want, Percy?" The ginger boy folded his arms together, clearly not appreciating being laughed at.
Percy chuckled for the last time, "Molly, do you know if she needs anything?" He asked. Harry shook his head but pointed in a direction. "Thanks, Harry." He said questionably and shook his head before walking that way.
He took a seating plan in his hand and walked around the perimeter, "Ah, Molly!" He exclaimed and walked over to the stressing woman. "Do you need me to do something?" He questioned.
"Uhm." She looked around, "Go find Ginny! I believe she's up in her room, we need to be outside to greet everyone, tell Harry and Ron as well!" Before Percy could walk away, the woman pulled him back quickly. He raised his eyebrows at the strength she has. "Harry is disgui-"
"As a ginger boy," He said in amusement, "I know." He chuckled.
Molly swatted him playfully, "Leave the boy alone." She said and Percy laughed before heading off to the house. Tents were standing up and Remus was walking around, acting as security.
"Perseus!" The man called out, "Can you come here for a minute."
Percy looked between the house and Remus. "I've got to get the girls, Harry and Ron." He said and he gestured in the direction of the house, "I'll be out in ten minutes max." He said and Remus waved him away, letting him do that quick errand.
He smiled and quickly walked over to the house and went up the stairs to the first floor. He knocked on Ginny's door and called out, "Ginny? Hermione?" He heard muffled voices behind the door and he put his ear against it.
"Just a second!" Ginny called out and Percy stepped back. The door opened and revealed Weasley in a golden dress.
Percy clapped and smiled, "You look nice Ginny." He said and smiled at her, "Your mother asked if you could go greet the guest with her." She cringed and looked at him, "Yes, you must." He nodded.
The girl sighed loudly and walked past Percy to get down the stairs and to the front of the tent. Percy looked around the room from the door, "Hermione?" He called out.
"One second." She called back as she stood behind a folding screen, the light illuminated her moving figure and Percy admired her shape. She peeked her head out from behind the screen and smiled at him. "You ready?" She asked.
Percy nodded and leant against the door frame, "Always ready to see you dressed up, love." He flirted and Hermione rolled her eyes, but there was no denying the smile on her face.
She moved out from behind the screen and showed her maroon red dress. It was floaty and she even matched it with high heels. Her hair was loose and it looked sleek and shiny. Percy's jaw dropped on the ground as he saw her.
She walked over with her hands behind her back and smiled at him. "How come you're so tall, Percy." She complained playfully, "I'm wearing heels and you still stick up above me."
Percy slid his hands onto her waist, "You look gorgeous." He said and smiled, "It is going to take a lot of willpower for me to not help Lupin." He muttered and leant down to kiss Hermione, he was a few centimeters from her lips, "You think Ginny would be mad if-"
"Yes." Hermione said and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. She kissed him deeply and he had to reluctantly pull away.
"I need to go over to Lupin." He whispered and looked down at his shoes. He pulled away a bit to see her outfit again and he bit the inside of his cheek, "We aren't matching." He muttered.
Hermione looked at him and took her wand out, a small smile on her face as she pointed at his tie, a light came off of it and his tie was maroon red now, the same as her dress and shoes. She leant up to kiss his cheek and he smiled. "Now we are." She said and straightened his tie.
The two walked down the stairs and he held her hand for balance as he watched her walk in the high heels, "Don't do this a lot, do you?" He teased.
Hermione slapped his shoulder and bit away a smile, "Not off the stairs no." She said, "We do, however, only in our dorms with the girls." She admitted and Percy chuckled. He finally helped her down the stairs and squeezed her hand before walking over to Lupin.
"What do you need help with, Lupin?" He asked and rolled up his sleeves. He looked as the guests started flowing and the sun started to set.
"I just needed an extra person for security." the man said, "One dropped out, so if you could just keep an eye out for an hour or two."
Percy nodded, having no problem with helping out, it was after all Fleur and Bill's special day. "You'll be paired up with me in the meanwhile." Lupin said and started walking around.
He was surprised, mostly because Lupin didn't switch out with someone else. The godling was under the impression that Lupin didn't really like him, so the godling had stayed out of his way. "I apologize for threatening you, when we arrived back at the Burrow from picking up Harry." He apologized and Percy blinked, looking over at the man.
"It was a valid response." He countered, "If a traitor were to be revealed I would be skeptical as well."
"Still," Remus said and looked up at the orange in the sky. "Moody's paranoia has leaked into my head."
Percy nodded and stopped debating back and forth with the man, the silence was a bit awkward. But he pushed through for an hour, sometimes Percy would glance into the party and he'd see Luna dance with her father. He would hear the folk music coming from the band and the whole group dancing around Fleur and Bill, celebrating them.
Eventually the sun was down and Lupin let him go. Percy swiftly walked into the tent and immediately was approached by Luna. "Hello." He greeted with a smile.
"Hello Percy." She replied with her spacey smile. "Are you enjoying the party?"
"I am enjoying it thoroughly." He said and her father appeared beside her, holding his hand out.
He introduced himself, "I'm a big fan." He said and leant closer, "The runes say that you're a great hero, even greater than Potter."
Percy raised his eyebrows and he leant back, "I'm guessing that is in another universe." He said and chuckled, "I'm no hero, sir."
"Oh nonsense!" He exclaimed, "I've written about your endeavors in the Quibbler." He said and nodded.
The godling frowned and leant closer, "Could you tell me which endeavors?"
"Well, the one in the pits of fire." The man said and nodded, "The high tower of Austria." He then shook his head, "I think that is it."
His heart stopped at the 'pits of fire', and he nodded with a slight smile, although it felt forced. "It was a nice conversation, sir. I'll read it soon and will get back to you, yes?"
"Lovely! A meeting with the source." The man said and started dancing again. Percy looked at the strange man with a calculating look before heading over to the beverage tables. He stood by a pillar and drank his beverage as he looked around.
Fred walked past Percy with some veela cousins of Fleur and they immediately turned their faces on him. One even walked over and Percy sighed internally when he saw the silver glow on them. He cringed as she trailed a finger underneath his chin, thinking he'd follow it.
Instead he put his hand on hers and shook his head, "Non." He said and shook his head. The veela looked offended as she went back to join her cousins.
"Not falling for their allure?" A sultry voice asked and he felt another finger on his chin. He looked over at the person with a frown, at first glance he saw Hermione but it eventually settled on a face, it was some mix between Hermione and Piper.
"Lady Aphrodite." He sighed and slowly put her finger down from his chin, "What can I do for you?"
"It is nearly everyday that a legacy of mine gets married." She then turned her eyes on Fleur, "But it isn't everyday that a magical legacy gets married. That, of course, has to be celebrated."
"So you're here just to celebrate?" He questioned and took a sip from his drink.
"And to congratulate you." She said, "You're a father now."
Percy's eyes bulged out of his head before the woman next to him bursted out laughing, the laugh caught the attention of many men in the room and they all glared at Percy. He sneered.
"You're no father Perseus." She said and looked in the direction of an uncomfortable Hermione talking with Victor Krum. He cringed as he saw the advances he tried to make and she rejected each of them. "How come you aren't jealous, Perseus?" She asked.
"Why should I be?" He questioned, "At the end of the night she's in my arms." He smiled and looked at her, she had that wrinkle by her eyebrow, "You can see that she's annoyed."
"Right you are." Aphrodite hummed, "Congratulations on finding your soulmate." She said quietly, "It's a shame it isn't one of my children, you'd have some gorgeous children."
Percy cringed, "Congratulations on the marriage of your legacy, Lady Aphrodite." He said and bowed slightly before making his way between the people. He smiled as he neared Hermione.
"Hello love." He said and kissed her cheek. He turned his head to Victor, "Krum." He nodded.
"Grindelwald." The guy spit out. "Why aren't you rotting in a cell like your great-grandfather?" He sneered.
Percy held his head up high, "Because I didn't commit any crimes, my family did." He countered. "Why don't you go sit down at the table and stop hurling insults at my head?"
Krum looked at Hermione with a confused look, "This is whom you're romantically involved with?" He questioned and turned to look at Percy. "You don't deserve this woman."
Percy opened his mouth to counter Victor's words but everyone began to quiet down. Hermione quickly pulled Percy to their seat and they watched as Bill tried to hide a few tears as he watched Fleur walk down the aisle.
The undercover Lady Aphrodite sat next to him, looking at Hermione with an interested look on her face. He took in a breath and he reached out for Hermione's hand. The girl didn't take her eyes off of Fleur but still intertwined their hands. Fleur looked like she was glowing but he still couldn't take his eyes off of Hermione.
As they began to take their vows, he handed over his handkerchief, the very same one that Hermione always lectures him about having it on hand. His girlfriend squeezed his hand in thanks as she began to dap her tears away. He looked over to the rest of the crowd and saw that mothers were crying, even Hagrid. He smiled fondly and kissed Hermione's hand.
After the presiding wizard waved his wand, a shower of stars fell upon their intertwined figures and the twins started the applause. Quickly everyone stood up and started clapping as well, celebrating the couple. Golden balloons by the newlyweds bursted out into tiny golden bells and doves that flew around the tent, singing their son.
The chairs disappeared and so did the walls, the dance floor was formed right under their feet and tables appeared. Staff entered with drinks and food and the band continued to play their music. Ron quickly appeared and led them to Luna's table. "I saw how uncomfortable you looked." Ron said but Percy wasn't paying attention. He was frowning and looking into the crowd, where Aphrodite disappeared off to he doesn't know.
They sat and talked for a bit until Luna started dancing by herself. Percy couldn't just let that happen and smiled at Hermione before dancing badly in the direction of Luna. He laughed as he danced around in a circle with her.
After a few minutes the song was over and he turned to look at Hermione, Krum appeared and he cringed. Quickly walking up to her, "Let's go dance, love." He said and held his hand out.
She smiled up at him and accepted his hand. Percy smiled and pulled her up to dance, the two danced together now to a slightly slower paced dance song. He had his hands on her hips and she had her arms around his chest, somewhat hugging him closer.
They stayed at the pace for another few songs despite the change in rhythm, eventually Percy sniffed the air and patted his girlfriend's waist. "Butterbeer." He whispered and immediately made eye contact with Ron.
The two had a silent conversation and Percy nodded, "I'm going to find some with Ron, I'll find you, okay love?"
Hermione smiled and pulled away, "Okay." She said quietly and the two walked off of the dance floor, Hermione went off to find Harry and Percy walked over to Ron. He stopped in his step as a cat patronus flew into the tent. He held Ron back to stop him from walking as well.
Shacklebolt's voice rang as the patronus reacted to it, "The ministry has fallen, the minister of magic is dead. They are coming." His heart beated in his chest and he made eye contact with Ron. The two looked at each other and turned around immediately, trying to find Hermione and Harry in the panicking crowd.
"Hermione!" Percy called out, "Harry!" Ron called out. Percy grunted as a guest ran into him, he heard cracks and he realized, "The enchantments broke!" He exclaimed and pushed people aside to get to the edge of the tent.
A loud-pitched noise came and a black smoke pierced the top of the tent, setting it on fire. Percy quickly tried to extinguish it with his wand. Death Eaters began apparating into the crowd and Percy began casting child charms. He managed to find his way to stand beside Lupin and Tonks.
Ron disappeared from his side, Percy just hoped that he could find his way back to Harry and Hermione. He kept casting shields around the crowd and Lupin grabbed him by the shoulder roughly. "Go with them!" He shouted and used his wand to cast a shield. "Go!" He pushed them in the direction of the three.
And Percy's eyes were wide, he petrified a Death Eater behind Lupin and nodded. Running he went in the direction of Hermione, "Where to?" He called out, the house was invisible. He grabbed onto Harry's shoulder.
"Yours!" Hermione replied and Percy nodded, apparating away to his house with Harry.
