Ch. 13A - Doujutsu V.S. Doujutsu
- With Kakashi and Hinata -
Kakashi and Hinata as well as the other samurais that were with them made their way back to the group, they could hear fighting from afar as they were retracing their steps.
Kakashi's gut feeling was right, the moment Hinata saw a "little girl" that suddenly vanished into thin air. He just hoped that they would make it in time to carry out their job, Kakashi then ordered Hinata once more to use her doujutsu to see what was going on ahead of them.
"Byakugan! (All Seeing White Eye)" Hinata said as veins began to appear on her face, she scanned what was going of in the distance. There she saw samurais fighting against a similar foe they faced inside the shack, only this time there were more of them. She looked further ahead and saw one of her teammates fighting against what seemed to be enemy shinobi.
"What do you see Hinata?" Kakashi asked
"T-They're fighting against those… "Things…" As well as multiple shinobi Kakashi-sensei" she replied
"How many are there?" Kakashi asked further
Hinata's gaze fell upon a sinister sight—a dozen enemy shinobi, their malevolent presence felt with every breath. As if that wasn't disconcerting enough, five figures stood among them [E.H. (Exploding Humans for the sake of convenience)]. A shiver coursed through Kakashi's spine as he witnessed this unnerving tableau. What unsettled him even more was the uncanny sense of familiarity that washed over him, as if he had encountered this before.
Within the recesses of his mind, Kakashi knew that he had witnessed the grim and barbaric technique that employed human beings as living bombs. The mere contemplation of such a vile method filled him with revulsion. Throughout his life, he had borne witness to a multitude of ruthless jutsus, each one pushing the boundaries of brutality. Yet, this particular technique resonated as one of the most abhorrent he had ever encountered. Alas, the details eluded him, teasing his memory like a tantalizing morsel just beyond his grasp.
Their pace quickened, Hinata and Kakashi hastening their steps to regroup with the rest of their team. The passage of time seemed to stretch endlessly as they raced back to the designated rendezvous point. Upon their arrival, Hinata's intuition proved accurate, as a handful of enemies surrounded their comrades, plunging the area into utter chaos. Yet, despite the turmoil, Kakashi remained resolute, committed to fulfilling their mission to the best of his abilities.
Amongst the chaos, they observed samurais valiantly defending themselves against the onslaught of attacking E.H. Armed with their own weapons, the samurais engaged their adversaries with fierce determination. Kakashi, with a lift of his forehead protector, activated his doujutsu, his Sharingan (Copy/Mirror Wheel Eye), to confirm his suspicions. His gaze fixated on one particular samurai locked in combat with an E.H. As the E.H. swung his wakizashi in a vicious slash, the skilled samurai deflected the blow skillfully, countering with an attack of his own. To their surprise, the E.H. froze in place, mirroring the motionless state they had observed earlier within the confines of the shack. The wound inflicted upon the E.H. began to swell and expand, signifying an impending detonation. Moments later, the body reached its volatile limit, engulfing the vicinity in an explosive eruption that reverberated through the earth, leaving behind a macabre scene of crimson-stained devastation.
Kakashi discerned a pattern—a revelation that any injury inflicted upon these enemies caused them to cease movement, remaining motionless until reaching a critical threshold where they would detonate. He knew there had to be a method to reverse this gruesome technique, but time was a luxury they could not afford. As much as he yearned to aid the innocent victims caught in this tragic predicament, the grim reality prevailed. His priority was to prevent further harm, even if the means to achieve that objective would be far from visually pleasing.
Armed with this newfound understanding, Kakashi darted toward the samurais locked in combat, urgently commanding them, "Cease your attacks and move away from them!" The samurais, sensing the gravity of the situation, complied without question. Kakashi swiftly retrieved shurikens from his pouch, hurling them with precision at the E.H. The projectiles found their mark, slicing through the enemies and drawing forth blood, instantly halting their movements. One by one, the E.H. began to swell ominously until reaching their explosive climax.
"What in the world is happening?!" one of the samurais exclaimed, his voice laced with bewilderment.
"I'm just as clueless as you are," Kakashi replied, his voice tinged with urgency. "There's no time to explain. Where are the merchants?" He lowered his forehead protector, conserving his chakra for the challenges that lay ahead.
"I believe one of your students evacuated them to a secure building. However, I'm uncertain of its exact location," the samurai responded, offering what little information he possessed.
As Kakashi turned towards Hinata, he found her already utilizing her unique kekkei genkai, scanning the buildings to locate a cluster of people. Her swift action impressed him, showcasing not only her innate abilities but also her proactive approach to the mission at hand.
"There! They're hiding in an inn, Kakashi-sensei," Hinata promptly informed, her voice filled with determination.
Acknowledging Hinata's contribution, a faint smile tugged at the corners of Kakashi's lips. He recognized her resourcefulness and admired her initiative. In that moment, he felt a sense of pride in the growth she had shown since their time together as teacher and student.
"You two, follow my student," Kakashi ordered the two samurais, his voice authoritative yet brimming with trust. "Ensure the safety of the merchants while my team and I handle the enemy shinobi." With resolute nods, the samurais complied, placing their trust in Hinata's guidance. They followed her lead, determined to protect those under their charge.
Hinata stepped forward, assuming her role as a capable leader, guiding the samurais towards the designated inn. Together, they embarked on their mission to safeguard the merchants, while Kakashi and his team readied themselves to confront the looming threat posed by the enemy shinobi.
- With Shikamaru -
As Shikamaru stood guard by the door, his mind began to weave a web of plans for the inevitable moment when he could join his team in countering the enemy shinobi. The safety of the merchants was of paramount importance, but there was an additional task at hand—ensuring a certain item didn't fall into enemy hands. Assuming a kneeling position, Shikamaru formed a ring using his thumb and index finger on both hands, preparing to delve into his strategic thinking. However, before he could close his eyes and immerse himself in thought, the sound of someone attempting to turn the doorknob disrupted his focus.
"Hello? Anyone in there?" a voice called out from outside. Shikamaru scoffed, knowing better than to open the door so easily. He had anticipated such a situation and taken precautions, closing the curtains and concealing the merchants behind the counter to minimize the risk of being spotted. With no means of verifying whether the person outside was friend or foe, Shikamaru had only one option. He positioned himself behind the door, retrieved a kunai from his pouch, and glimpsed a shadow through the gap beneath the door.
Undeterred, the unknown person persisted in their efforts to gain entry, causing some of the merchants to whimper in fear. Shikamaru shushed them, instructing them to remain silent. "Hijutsu: Kagemane no Jutsu (Hidden Jutsu: Shadow Imitation Technique)," he murmured, activating his technique. His shadow extended beneath the door, merging with the intruder's shadow. Seizing the opportunity, Shikamaru swiftly swung the door open and aimed his kunai at the intruder's throat.
"Wait! I-It's us, Shikamaru..." Hinata's voice quivered from within the group. Shikamaru hesitated, his gaze falling upon Hinata among the others. Still, he kept his kunai pointed at the paralyzed individual. How could he be certain they were genuine and not masquerading as allies, attempting to deceive him? A dose of skepticism was warranted, even crucial, in this situation.
"How can I be sure you're not lying?" Shikamaru questioned, his voice tinged with caution.
"I-It's really us, Shikamaru," Hinata countered, her voice filled with a mix of desperation and assurance.
"Sorry, I don't buy it... If you're truly Hinata, then answer this question: What's my dream?" Shikamaru challenged, his tone firm.
"T-That's a trick question... You don't have any," Hinata responded with a hint of certainty.
Satisfied with her answer, Shikamaru exhaled audibly and lowered his kunai, releasing his jutsu, allowing the paralyzed individual to regain movement. "You could have mentioned you were with them, Hinata. Although, even if you had, I'd still have my doubts. Nonetheless, I nearly took a life needlessly," he admitted, a touch of remorse in his voice.
"S-Sorry about that... I-It slipped my mind. I honestly believed you were expecting an ally to arrive," Hinata confessed, her voice laden with guilt.
Shikamaru sighed, deciding to let the matter go. Arguing further would serve no purpose. "So, where's Kakashi-sensei?" he inquired.
"He's already out there fighting the shinobi. He instructed me to lead these samurai to you for their protection," Hinata answered.
"I see. Well, lead the way then, now that I can entrust the merchants to these samurai. However, there's something I need to discuss with Kakashi-sensei," Shikamaru responded, his voice filled with determination.
"W-What is it?" Hinata inquired, her voice laced with curiosity and concern.
"I'll tell you when we regroup with Kakashi-sensei. It would be a drag to repeat myself," Shikamaru replied, a hint of mischief in his tone.
With their objectives clear, Shikamaru and Hinata set off, following the path that would lead them to where Kakashi and the rest of their team were engaged in battle against the enemy shinobi. The mission had proven to be more challenging and time-consuming than anticipated, with setbacks testing their resolve at every turn. Undoubtedly, this mission was becoming a genuine pain in the ass. Nevertheless, they remained committed to fulfilling their duties, knowing that they had a crucial role to play in the unfolding events.
As they pressed forward, navigating through the chaos and obstacles, Shikamaru and Hinata shared a silent understanding. They would persevere, supporting each other and their team, even in the face of adversity. Regrouping with Kakashi was their priority, as they knew that their combined strength and strategies would be pivotal in dealing with the enemy shinobi. With determination in their hearts, they marched onward, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
- With Kakashi -
Kakashi found himself in a relentless battle against the enemy shinobi and the deadly E.H.. The sheer number of locals that had been exploited for their twisted cause sickened him to the core. Determined to survive and protect others, Kakashi knew he had to rely on his Sharingan (Copy/Mirror Wheel Eye), a formidable tool that granted him heightened perception and reflexes.
As two E.H. charged at him, kunais in hand, Kakashi swiftly assessed the situation. He skillfully parried the incoming strike with his own kunai, countering with a series of precise movements—a downward slash, an upward slash, and a spinning kick that sent one of the E.H. hurtling towards an enemy shinobi. The E.H. collided with its intended target, its weight increasing as it remained motionless. The enemy shinobi struggled to free himself, he struggled, he squirmed, and wriggled but the growing mass proved too much to bear. In a horrific crescendo, the E.H. detonated, reducing both bodies to mere stains on the ground.
Suddenly, Kakashi sensed another E.H. closing in from behind. Reacting with agility, he twisted his body, slashing at the E.H.'s legs with his kunai. A well-executed backflip kick created distance between him and the creature. Without wasting a moment, Kakashi surged forward, channeling his lightning-based technique, Raiton: Chidori (Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds). The electrically charged punch struck the E.H., sending it crashing into a nearby tree. The body became motionless before erupting into a devastating explosion, toppling the tree and adding further destruction to the surrounding forest.
Amidst his assessment of the battlefield, Kakashi suddenly found himself paralyzed, trapped by the Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique). As a projectile threatened to strike him, salvation arrived in the form of an intercepted kunai, altering its trajectory. Sasuke materialized before him, landing gracefully.
"Don't die on me yet, Kakashi. You've yet to teach me the secrets of these eyes," Sasuke stated with a mix of concern and determination.
Internally, Kakashi sighed, a blend of relief and disappointment filling his thoughts. He was grateful that Sasuke had arrived in the nick of time, rescuing him from his perilous situation. However, he couldn't help but feel disappointed that Sasuke still had much to learn about respect for his superiors. Teaching Sasuke the importance of honoring authority would be a task reserved for another time, when they were not in the midst of a life-or-death battle.
Sasuke swiftly infused his legs with chakra, closing the distance between himself and Kakashi's assailant in a matter of seconds. With lightning-fast strikes, Sasuke overwhelmed his opponent, whose reaction time proved lacking. A precise jab to the abdomen left the man gasping for breath, followed by a spinning hook kick to the head, a leg sweep, and another jab. Sasuke's relentless assault continued with a second leg sweep, causing the man to stumble backward. Seizing the opportunity, Sasuke sprinted toward him and unleashed a jumping spinning heel kick, incapacitating his foe. Kakashi couldn't help but be impressed by Sasuke's exceptional taijutsu skills. The reputation of Sasuke being a prodigy was well-deserved.
"Have you seen the others?" Kakashi inquired.
"No, I was going to ask you the same," Sasuke replied.
"I see. Well, let's find them then," Kakashi suggested, and just as they were about to set off, Shikamaru and Hinata landed in front of them.
"No need for that, but we must hurry, Kakashi-sensei," Shikamaru said.
"Why is that?" Kakashi questioned.
"They're after an item the merchants possess in one of their wagons called Eiyu no Mizu (Hero Water)," Shikamaru explained.
"Hero Water?" Hinata asked, seeking clarification.
"Apparently, it's a special drink produced in Takigakure (Hidden Waterfall Village) once every hundred years. It grants immense chakra and possesses healing properties," Shikamaru relayed the information he had gathered from the merchants.
Curious about why the merchants possessed such an item, Kakashi briefly inquired, but due to the urgency of the situation, Shikamaru provided a concise explanation.
Kakashi decided not to delve further into it, recognizing the need for swift action. Their new mission was clear: secure the Hero Water and prevent it from falling into the enemy's hands
"Understood," Kakashi acknowledged, his tone brimming with determination. "Our topmost concern is securing that item. Let us proceed towards the wagons." However, their progress was abruptly impeded by a formation of adversarial shinobi. Swiftly assessing the situation, Kakashi turned to his students and advised them to continue ahead, assuring them that he would confront the obstacle and rejoin them shortly.
- At The Wagons -
Inside the wagons, multiple enemies rummaged through the contents in a frantic search for a specific item. Their actions left the wagon interiors in disarray as they carelessly tossed aside items they deemed irrelevant.
"Where the hell is it?!" one of the enemies exclaimed in frustration.
"How should I know? It could be in any of these crates," argued another, growing increasingly impatient.
"Just shut the fuck up and keep looking!" barked a third, clearly agitated.
They continued their rampage, breaking crates, destroying locks, and emptying bags without success. "At this rate, we'll never find it. We don't even know what the damn thing looks like!" complained one of the men, throwing an emptied suitcase to the floor. The sound it made upon landing hinted at the presence of something remaining inside. Curiosity piqued, he retrieved a kunai from his pouch and sliced open the suitcase, revealing a hidden compartment. Inside was a scroll sealed with a mark—a clear indication that it held value. The significance of such elaborate concealment puzzled them.
"I think I found it!" the man exclaimed.
"Great! Now let's get the hell out of here before—" his sentence abruptly ended as he became paralyzed. "Hijutsu: Kagemane no Jutsu (Hidden Technique: Shadow Possession Jutsu)," Shikamaru declared, successfully extending his shadow to capture two of the enemies. However, the third one managed to evade his grasp, reacting quickly enough to avoid the technique.
Two kunai swiftly found their mark, embedding themselves in the foreheads of the paralyzed enemies, eliminating them. Sasuke dashed toward the remaining foe to retrieve the stolen scroll. To his surprise, a new adversary landed in front of him, his head lowered.
"Sorry, but I can't let you pass, kid," the man said with a smirk.
"Well, let's see about that," Sasuke retorted, sprinting toward the man while activating his Sharingan (Copy/Mirror Wheel Eye).
The man raised his head and locked eyes with Sasuke. "An Uchiha, huh? Who would've thought that a single Uchiha survived the clan massacre? This'll be fun," he thought to himself, activating his own unique doujutsu. His blood-red eyes with pitch-black pupils and a horizontal purple slit spelled danger.
Sasuke, although surprised, refused to be deterred. He propelled himself into the air, spinning to add more force to his kick. However, the man stood motionless, maintaining eye contact with Sasuke, causing him to stumble and fall to the ground. "Pathetic... Do you really believe your eyes alone are sufficient? The arrogance of your clan amuses me," the man taunted.
Sasuke was shocked to find his body moving against his will. In a desperate attempt to break free from the genjutsu's control, he reached for another kunai in his pouch and aimed it at his own throat. Realizing that he was under the influence of a genjutsu that compelled him to obey the user's commands, Sasuke fought back with all his might. However, the tip of the kunai inched closer and closer to his throat. Gathering his strength, he took a deep breath and focused on his training. "Kai! (Release)," Sasuke exclaimed, disrupting his own chakra flow just before the kunai could puncture his throat. Free from the man's control, he swiftly retreated to regroup with his teammates.
"Have you secured the package?" the man asked the subordinate holding the scroll.
"Yes, sir," the subordinate replied nervously.
"Good. Now get the hell out of here. I'll handle them," the man ordered.
The subordinate nodded and started to flee. As much as the team wanted to pursue the fleeing enemy, they still had to contend with the foe before them. Sasuke made another attempt to rush forward, but just as the man was about to stop him, Kakashi appeared in front of them.
"Sorry I'm late, kids. Go after the other one, and I'll handle this," Kakashi said to his students. Shikamaru, Sasuke, and Hinata exchanged nods before sprinting toward their remaining target.
"Kakashi of the Sharingan, the man who copied a thousand jutsus. I didn't expect to see you here, let alone the last Uchiha," the man addressed Kakashi.
"I may not know who you are, but those eyes seem familiar," Kakashi replied.
"I am Atsushi of the Chinoike Clan, and as for these eyes, it saddens me that you can't recall their name. Allow me to demonstrate the power of the Ketsuryugan! (Blood Dragon Eye)" the man proclaimed.
Kakashi's memory was jogged as he recognized the Ketsuryugan! (Blood Dragon Eye), a renowned eye technique of the Chinoike Clan that had flourished during the warring states period in Kaminari no Kuni (Land of Lightning). This kekkei genkai rivaled the Sharingan (Copy/Mirror Wheel Eye) in terms of genjutsu and versatility, but its brutal and savage jutsus set it apart from others. He also pondered why a member of the Chinoike Clan had appeared in the Land of Rivers (Kawa no Kuni), but that was a question for another time.
Atsushi attempted to ensnare Kakashi in a genjutsu with a powerful gaze, but to his dismay, Kakashi swiftly countered the attack using his adept Sharingan (Copy/Mirror Wheel Eye) abilities.
"Genjutsu won't work on me," Kakashi remarked calmly, anticipating Atsushi's move.
Realizing his genjutsu had failed, Atsushi resorted to a more drastic measure. Slitting his own wrist, he let his blood flow onto the ground. With a single hand seal, he commanded nearby corpses to stir, using a forbidden technique known as Ketton: Shukketsu Suru (Blood Release: Bleed). The blood from the corpses seeped out, causing them to wither and pale. Atsushi continued to drain every drop of blood until there was none left.
Transforming the collected blood into tendrils, Atsushi unleashed the Ketton: Chi Makihige (Blood Release: Blood Tendrils). The tendrils extended rapidly toward Kakashi, who skillfully evaded them by swiftly retreating. Witnessing the destructive power of the tendrils as they effortlessly destroyed a nearby tree, Kakashi understood the danger they posed.
Retracting the tendrils, Atsushi reformed the blood into a ball and activated the Ketton: Chi no Inu no Jutsu (Blood Release: Blood Hound Technique). The blood transformed into two ferocious blood hounds that chased after Kakashi, growling menacingly. Kakashi maneuvered through the terrain, leaping, flipping, and dodging the hounds' attacks. He threw shurikens at them, but the projectiles passed through the spectral forms without inflicting any damage.
As Kakashi evaded the blood hounds, he realized that Atsushi was deliberately guiding him toward a particular location. He was being led back to the small town, where the presence of numerous corpses provided Atsushi with an abundant source of blood. The situation became increasingly dire for Kakashi, as his opponent intended to exploit the power of the Ketsuryugan! (Blood Dragon Eye) to its fullest.
"Behold the strength of the blood coursing through your veins, Kakashi!" Atsushi proclaimed as he siphoned blood from fallen allies, deceased samurais, and the remnants of the exploded E.H. compound.
Having amassed a considerable amount of blood, Atsushi split the blood ball in half. The first portion was converted into raw chakra, enhancing his speed and strength. With the second half, he performed various blood-related jutsu.
Engaging with the Ketton: Doka Shimasu no Jutsu (Blood Release: Assimilation Technique), Atsushi absorbed the blood into his body, augmenting his physical capabilities. Blood clung to his arms as he executed the Ketton: Rakukanteki na Ude no Jutsu (Blood Release: Sanguine Arms Technique), enabling him to fashion any weapon or appendage he desired with a mere thought.
In response, Kakashi swiftly formed a sequence of hand seals—Monkey, Dragon, Rat, Bird, Ox, Snake, Dog, Tiger, Monkey. A high-pitched sound reminiscent of a thousand birds chirping resonated in the air as lightning enveloped Kakashi's hands, crackling with electrifying power.
"Sic him!" Atsushi commanded his blood hounds, urging them to charge at Kakashi.
Kakashi swiftly closed the distance between himself and the blood hounds, striking the first one with a powerful punch that caused it to explode, scattering blood in all directions. Without wasting a moment, he proceeded to deal the same fate to the second hound. Atsushi, undeterred, swiftly activated the Ketton: Chi Makihige (Blood Release: Blood Tendrils), causing blood tendrils to emerge from the ground and target Kakashi. However, Kakashi skillfully evaded the attack by utilizing Kawarimi (Body Replacement Technique) and Shunshin (Body Flicker Technique) to escape harm.
But Atsushi wasn't done yet. He unleashed another technique, the Ketton: Senbon Chiame (Blood Release: Senbon Blood Rain), releasing a storm of blood senbons towards Kakashi. Reacting swiftly, Kakashi employed the Doton: Chikyū no Kinko (Earth Release: Earth Dome) jutsu, creating a protective dome made of solid earth. None of the senbons managed to penetrate the dome, frustrating Atsushi. Determined to break through, he reformed the blood on his arms into a lance, attempting to pry open the dome. After several strikes, he succeeded in breaking through, only to find that Kakashi was nowhere to be seen.
To Atsushi's surprise, he felt a presence behind him. Thinking he had the upper hand, he turned quickly and stabbed Kakashi with his blood lance, only to realize he had impaled a clone. "Raiton: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Shadow Clone Technique)," Kakashi declared as the clone electrocuted Atsushi. The electricity coursed through the blood, utilizing it as a conductor due to its water-like properties. Atsushi, connected to the blood, experienced a powerful shock that temporarily paralyzed him.
Taking advantage of Atsushi's momentary incapacitation, the real Kakashi emerged from hiding using a combination of Meisaigakure no Jutsu (Hiding With Camouflage Technique) and Chakra Henso no Jutsu (Chakra Disguise Technique). Invisibility and a hidden chakra signature allowed Kakashi to approach unnoticed.
Kakashi swiftly launched a series of powerful kicks at Atsushi, including a spinning back kick, a leg sweep followed by a knee kick, and a jump with a heel kick. He continued the onslaught with a flurry of left and right roundhouse kicks, concluding with a devastating spinning kick that sent Atsushi stumbling across the ground. Atsushi managed to regain his footing, glaring at Kakashi with frustration and anger.
Atsushi, fueled by his rage and the challenge of facing another Sharingan user, gritted his teeth. He dissolved his blood lance, utilizing some of the blood to heal his injuries using the Ketton: Chi no Iyashi no Jutsu (Blood Release: Blood Healing Technique). Sacrificing a portion of the blood used for his jutsu, Atsushi replenished his health, causing all wounds and bruises to vanish. Satisfied with his recovery, Atsushi prepared himself for the next round, determined not to accept defeat easily.
Kakashi remained vigilant, ready to counter Atsushi's next move. His opponent charged at him, swiftly performing a series of hand seals. "Ketton: Chi Shuriken no Jutsu (Blood Release: Blood Shuriken Technique)," Atsushi declared, launching a barrage of shurikens in Kakashi's direction. Kakashi agilely flipped and twisted his body, evading most of the projectiles. However, one shuriken was too close for him to dodge, and he had no choice but to block it. Atsushi smirked at Kakashi's seemingly futile attempt. Kakashi tried to intercept the shuriken with his kunai, but to his surprise, the projectile passed through his weapon, reforming itself and cutting Kakashi's cheek.
Stepping back, Kakashi touched his cheek to assess the injury. At first, he believed it to be a shallow cut, but then he felt chakra entering his system. He realized that something was wrong. A sudden pang of pain struck his stomach.
"It's over, Kakashi. Too bad your Sharingan can't save you from this," Atsushi taunted. Kakashi watched as his cheek swelled and his body expanded like a balloon. Moments later, he became nothing more than a massive ball of blood and guts. The ball reached its limit and exploded, showering the area with blood and viscera. Atsushi, satisfied with the outcome, turned to walk away.
To his astonishment, Atsushi heard Kakashi's voice. "So that's how you create those exploding humans, huh?" Kakashi's words jolted Atsushi out of his momentary triumph. He turned around and was confronted by Kakashi, who held a kunai at his throat.
"The Sharingan?!" Atsushi exclaimed.
"Sorry, it's nothing personal," Kakashi calmly replied, swiftly slitting Atsushi's throat, putting an end to him once and for all.
Kakashi let out a sigh, surveying the aftermath of the battle. The fighting was coming to a halt, with enemies fleeing or lying dead. Although their group had suffered some losses, Kakashi accepted the reality that death was an inherent part of their mission. It was their duty to ensure that they would live to fight another day.
(A/N: Wow another case of writer's block haha sorry bout that, most of the jutsus Atsushi used were either from fanon stuff or stuff I made up since Chino (an actual character in Sasuke Hiden Light Novel) barely used any jutsus, all that was in the wiki was the blood dragon jutsu but that can be done with tons of blood like in the Valley of Hell. I wanted to use that but the blood inside a human body is not enough to support that jutsu even if there were tons of bodies cause a human body simply has 1.2 - 1.5 gallons haha whereas the anime or novel had more than that so yeah, there was also this morphing jutsu where the user can pretend to be someone else, I implemented that so try and figure out in what part I did it. Message me your answer if you'd like so yea haha. The only jutsus I could use were the Exploding Human and Genjutsu of the Ketsuryugan which had no name. So yeah sorry for the wait, it was just hard for me to implement this doujutsu though I wanted to include it also I already committed to it so yeah, there's a part two to this and that's about the student's pursuit mission)
