Hello everyone, and happy Memorial Day! Today, I'm doing something a little different. Instead of going to the fifth and final area, Dragnarok will be going through the levels you unlock when you collect the Time Relies, as he gets separated from the group. Luckily, a new original character will help him. And the boss for this area will be a original character as well.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy.
Walking out of the fourth chamber, our heroes were planning their next move.
"Okay, we know Uka Uka and Cortex will certainly do whatever they can to stop us now we've beating some of their best minions." Coco said.
As Dragnarok listened, he stepped onto the center of the Time Twister's hub, causing a force field to surround the draconic hero.
"What the-?!" Dragnarok shouted as the floor beneath him began to float, carrying the draconic hero away.
"Dragnarok!" Coco and Aku Aku shouted while Bandicoot had a panicked looked as they watch the platform take Dragnarok away.
A while later, Dragnarok saw that the platform took him to a factory-like area with Neo-Cor Systems bolted on the wall.
"Where am I?" Dragnarok asked himself before noticed five buttons in front of him. "A secret set of buttons?"
That's when Dragnarok's walkie-talkie began to ring, causing him to pick it up.
"Dragnarok! Are you alright?!" Coco shouted through the walkie-talkie.
"I'm fine. In fact, this might be a blessing, as the platform took me to a hidden set of buttons." Dragnarok said as he looked around the area.
"Really?! Well, I do see why you consider this as a blessing." Coco said. "Okay, explore where these buttons go while I try to figure out how to bring you back to us."
"Roger that." Dragnarok said before noticing something.
On the side of the wall in the room was a glass capsule that had a big iron plate on the bottom and big enough to hold a adult man.
Walking closer and peeking inside, Dragnarok saw what looks like male anthropomorphic cross between a grey wolf and a black-backed jackal wearing a black jacket with grey bone-like patterns, black jeans, and grey boots, who appeared to be in a state of suspend animation. On the iron plate was "Nix T. Wolfjack".
"Nix Wolfjack, huh?" Dragnarok muttered before noticing a small button on the right side of the capsule. "Hello..."
Pushing the button, Dragnarok saw the capsule open, letting the hybrid out.
"My head..." Nix groaned as he got up before opening his eyes. "Where am I?"
"On the Time Twister." Dragnarok said before looking at Nix in the eyes. "Do you remember how you got here?"
"Time Twister...?" Nix muttered as he looked around. "I... I don't know. Other than my name, I can't remember anything."
Staring at the confused hybrid, thousands of thought buzzed through Dragnarok's head.
'Poor guy, looks like whoever made him left him to rot.' The draconic hero thought. 'I can't just leave him here...'
"Look, how about you come with me and I'll help you find your memories." Dragnarok offered.
"Really?!" Nix asked in a surprised and slightly happy tone.
"Sure." Dragnarok said as he stepped on the first button, creating a time portal. "I'm sure will find something to jug your memory. So come on!"
And with that, the two jumped into the time portal.
Before arriving at their destination, Dragnarok and Nix received a transmission, showing the head of a man with black hair and was wearing a cyan-colored three point crown, a purple mechanical mask with cyan eyes on the upper half of his face, while the lower half was grey mask with a cyan colored breather on it.
"Well, I'm impressed to managed to find this place." The man said before introducing himself. "I am Notorious Crypt, collector of data and secrets. I have been watching you and your friends for sometime, and I must say, you all make an excellent team. Uka Uka And Doctor Cortex wants you all destroyed. But me? I have other plans. Try not to disappoint me."
And with that, the transmission ends.
Ski Crazed
Exiting the portal, Dragnarok and Nix found themselves at sea, near a island with a volcano at sundown.
"Luckily, I held on to this. Dragnarok said as took out the jet ski device and transformed it into vehicle mode. He then notices a perturbed look on Nix's face. "Is there something wrong?"
"That man... N Crypt... I think I seen him before." Nix said in a nervous tone. "He must be connected to my past."
"If that's the case, then we find him." Dragnarok said before gesturing to the jet ski. "Hop on!"
Once on, they took off. Luckily, all they had to deal with were bombs floating in the water.
Zipping past them, they reached the island where the gem was waiting for them.
"Got it!" Dragnarok as he picked it up.
The time portal opens into front of them, which they jumped into.
Returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok steps on the next button.
"Let's keep this going." He said as the time portal opens.
"Right." Nix said before he and Dragnarok jumped in.
Hang'Em High (Second Entrance)
Exiting the portal, the duo found themselves in a Arabian city, one that Dragnarok was familiar with.
"Wait... I been here before." He said.
"You've been to this place?" Nix asked.
"When I came here looking for the crystal and gem with my friends. I felt that we missed something."
"Perhaps we could find it this time?" Nix suggested.
"Maybe." Dragnarok said. "Anyway, let's go."
Moving on, and dealing with the same hazards as last time, the duo found a yellow gem.
"So this is what we missed." Dragnarok said as Nix picks up the yellow gem.
The time portal opens in front of them, which they jumped into.
Returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok stepped on the next button.
"You ready?" He asked as the time portal open.
"I'll sit this one out. I need to think for a bit." Nix said.
With a shrug, Dragnarok jumps in.
Before arriving at his destination, Dragnarok received a transmission from N Crypt.
"You're doing better than I expected!" N Crypt said with glee. "Keep it up, I need to get good data on you, boy."
And with that, the transmission ends.
Area 51?
Exiting the portal, Dragnarok found himself in the middle of a big street in the middle of the night.
"Good thing I kept this." He said as he took out a device and turned it into a motorcycle.
Getting on, Dragnarok drove off.
As he drove down the darken street, he noticed small UFOs flying along the street, trying to ram him off the road.
Not only that, police cars appeared out of nowhere and tried to ram right into him.
Getting to the end, Dragnarok found not one, but two gems waiting for him.
Grabbing them, the time portal opened, allowing Dragnarok to drive through.
Returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok found Nix waiting for him.
"Okay, I ready for the next area." The hybrid said. "Just need to gather my thoughts."
"I understand." Dragnarok said as he step on the next button, opening the time portal. "Anyway, let's go."
And with that, they jump in.
Future Frenzy (Second Entrance)
Exiting the portal, the duo found themselves in a futuristic city that Dragnarok was familiar with.
"This place again?" Dragnarok asked.
"Been here too?" Nix asked.
"Yep, found the crystal, but no gems." Dragnarok said. "Maybe we'll find them this time."
Moving on, Dragnarok and Nix fought and dodged their way past the same hazards that the former seen from his last visit before finally find two gems.
Grabbing them, the duo jumped into the portal waiting for them.
Returning to the Time Twister, Nix step on the next button.
"Only one more left." He said as the time portal opens.
"Then let's go!" Dragnarok shouted as they jumped in.
Before arriving at their destination, Dragnarok and Nix received a transmission for N Crypt.
"You continue to impress me more and more." N Crypt said. "Can you keep it up?"
And with that, the transmission end.
Rings of Power
Exiting the portal, Dragnarok and Nix were on the purple plane Coco gave to the latter.
In front of them were three minions in planes.
"Race us to the end, and if you beat us, you get two gems." One of them said.
And with that, they took off.
After maneuvering past Nitro crates on balloons, Dragnarok and Nix manage to win and get the gems before going through the time portal.
Returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok and Nix noticed that a sixth button had appeared.
"When did that get here?" Nix asked.
"You'll get use to it." Dragnarok said as he step on it, opening a time portal.
And with that, they jumped.
Before arriving at their destination, Dragnarok and Nix received a transmission for N Crypt.
"My analysis is almost complete." N Crypt said. "All I need now is to see how well you do in a fight. En Garde!"
And with that, the transmission end.
Exiting the portal, Dragnarok and Nix found themselves in a space station floating in a empty void.
"Welcome, to the end of time!" N Crypt's voice ranged through the station. Following it, they saw him stand on a ledge, looking down at them.
N Crypt wore chest armor that was purple on top with a power symbol on it and the bottom was black with a rhombus and square mash that was cyan in color. He was wearing grey jeans and black boots. Finally, on his arms were cyan-colored arm long gloves with digital wristbands.
"It about time we meet face to face." N Crypt said before jumping down to face them.
"Before we fight, I want to ask you something." Nix said. "You're familiar to me for some reason, so I wonder... Do you know who I am?"
"I will be happy to answer all of your questions, if you manage to beat me." N Crypt said before launching a glitching fireball at the duo, who just barely dodged.
"What the-?!" Dragnarok shouted.
"You see, while you were collecting the gems in my area, I was studying you, analyzing your every move." N Crypt said before throw a blob of glitching poison at Dragnarok, who ducked.
Nix then ram into N Crypt, who fell onto his chest.
"Attacking from behind... Smart." N Crypt said before getting up, raises his hand into the air, and activates a familiar power. "Cataclysm!"
N Crypt then presses the Cataclysm onto the floor, causing everyone to fall to a new floor.
"Was that Cat Noir's Cataclysm?!" Dragnarok shouted in shock.
"Indeed. I analyzed and copied the powers of my world's Cat Noir, who actual goes by the name Cat Marron." N Crypt said before noticing the surprised look on the draconic hero's face. "I'm aware you're from a different dimension. You see, in this world, the Cat Miraculous is a brown cat instead of a black cat. Also, our Ladybug goes by the name Spotted Beetle, and is orange-ish yellow with black spots instead of red with black spots."
"That's... interesting." Dragnarok said, not sure what to think.
"Anyway, let's continue where we left off." N Crypt said before taking a stance. "Shell-ter!" A glitching green force field surrounds N Crypt. Dragnarok merely walked up to it, and shattered in with one punch. "What?!"
"You should double check your data, as I'm immune to the power of the Miraculouses!" The draconic hero taunted.
Before N Crypt could say anything, Nix socked him in the face.
"Attacking while I'm distracted... also smart." N Crypt said before preforming another Cataclysm on the ground, bring everyone down another level. "Time to take this up a notch."
N Crypt then freezes the floor before firing bolts of electricity at Dragnarok and Nix, forcing the two skate around to avoid being fired. Seeing that fail, N Crypt, summons a wall of rocky spikes before blasting a gust of strong wind.
Dragnarok grabbed Nix and flies over the spike wall before dropping Nix, who delivers a Rider Kick to N Crypt's face, putting him down for good.
"Okay, we beaten you, so tell me what I what to know!" Nix demanded.
"A deal's a deal." N Crypt muttered before standing up. "You are my creation, and the reason you have no memories is because I never gave you any in the first place."
"What?!" Nix shouted as he took a step back in shock.
"You see, Nix is German for nothing." N Crypt said. "The reason I named you that is because by having nothing, you can write your own destiny."
"What are you saying?" Nix asked while Dragnarok quietly watches from the side.
"I created you so you can be your own person." N Crypt said. "You see, I'm not evil, just someone full of ambition who only working with Uka Uka and Cortex as a means to a end."
"And what are these means to an end?" Dragnarok asked.
"Like I said, I collect data, and seeing that there is time travel involved, I basically struck oil." N Crypt said. "I am a firm believer of the term "Knowledge is Power"." A time portal suddenly appears. "Now go, your friends are waiting for you. Also, Dragnarok... Look after Nix."
With a nod, Dragnarok jumps into the time portal with Nix.
Returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok looks at Nix with a slightly concern look.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"I'm fine." Nix said with a smile. "I'm just happy I now know who I am."
That's when Dragnarok's walkie-talkie ringed.
"Dragnarok, I finally managed to get the platform to allow you to come back." Coco said "Are you already?"
"I'm fine." Dragnarok said before looking at Nix. "And I have a lot to tell you."
