With Dinosaurs now still wandering around the earth, there will be some located in Royal Woods, to which the folks wanna see and observe on what they are doing, and yet they are still as fascinating as the Pokémon who live there as well. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Spells and Louds.
Chapter 906: Dinosaurs in Royal Woods, Michigan.

(February 21. Royal Woods.)

The location is Tall Timbers Park, and everyone there is surprised to bear witness what is now living amongst them near their town, along with the Pokémon. They are all seeing, dinosaurs living on the mainland of their home.

Many of them are taking some photos of these animals and so let us take a list down on what the dinosaurs living here are:

Ankylosaurus.
Ankylosaurus was built like a living tank, with extremely thick, bony plates of armor on its body, even including armored eyelids. Its tail also had a second function; it could act as a deadly club. The club was used to swing around and smash into an attacking dinosaur. Its club was so daunting that not even a Tyrannosaurus rex would want to mess with this alarming species.

As a defensive creature, Ankylosaurus was one of nature's most perfect designs. It was almost impervious to being bitten from above and its long, strong tail muscles would have been able to swing its club with great force, however, the tail wasn't too flexible and could only swing 45 degrees in each direction.

There is very little fossil material from this dinosaur - it was apparently the last and largest of the family of armored dinosaurs. It walked fairly upright on all four legs, carrying its tail off the ground and it is theorized that it would drop to the ground when attacked to use its armor as a shield to cover its legs and underbelly.

Apatosaurus.
Apatosaurus is one of the most famous of the giant Jurassic plant-eaters. It was a sauropod, a member of a race of huge, long-necked dinosaurs. It was longer than two school buses and weighed as much as 4 adult male African elephants. For years, an Apatosaurus body stood with the head of Camarasaurus on the end of its neck. This was named Brontosaurus and was one of the most popular dinosaurs for many years. In 2015, the Brontosaurus genus was revived and several species of Apatosaurus were resigned to the Brontosaurus genus.

Apatosaurus is a fairly typical member of the diplodocid family - long neck, pillar-like legs, long tapering tail and enormous size. It had, like the other family members, peg-like teeth in a head that seemed very small for such a large creature. Compared to Diplodocus, Apatosaurus has a shorter, thicker neck, and a larger, heavier body. There is much speculation about how much these creatures needed to eat and how such a small head could ingest enough food to fuel such a large body. Some scientists have stated that these huge, small-headed creatures would have needed to eat every waking moment in order to provide enough food to keep such a large body alive. Apatosaurus seemed to have every adaptation needed for continuous eating. Despite looking defenseless other than its huge size, the tail was like a giant bullwhip could probably make a loud cracking sound about 200 decibels, enough to scare or even deafen theropods such as Allosaurus.

In order to facilitate the processing of food, which it could not chew with its teeth. Apatosaurus probably swallowed stones that it kept in a gizzard similar to that found in a chicken. The tough plant fibers would spend time in the gizzard stewing and grinded up by the stones. The Apatosaurus reaches its full size in 10 years.

Gallimimus.
Gallimimus was a speedy theropod, the largest of its type. They were called chicken mimics because they probably moved like modern flightless birds. Unlike other theropods, Gallimimus had no teeth. In fact, it had a very small head. This was probably one of the fastest dinosaurs, with speed like an ostrich, it could probably run up to 30 miles per hour.

With its small, toothless head, it is believed that Gallimimus probably had a diet of insects, small animals, eggs, and maybe even some plants. They had a much longer neck than any other theropod dinosaur.

Triceratops.
Triceratops was a very common dinosaur which lived at the very end of the Cretaceous period. It had a huge frilled head with horns over each eye that could reach over 3 feet long. Triceratops had a third, smaller horn on its nose. These would be fearsome weapons against a predator.

Triceratops is one of the most common dinosaur fossils found. More than 50 skulls have been found. Within the genus, at least 7 species have been identified. The ceratopsian family is one of the most successful and varied of the Late Cretaceous. Triceratops is the largest member of this family, reaching the size of a school bus.

Triceratops was a herd animal; it is believed that large groups numbering into the hundreds roamed North America. Their large, horny beaks and long rows of teeth were well designed for chewing the tough, low-growing plants of the Late Cretaceous. It was likely the main predator of these animals was Tyrannosaurus rex. A number of skeletons show bite and chew marks that match the teeth of T. rex. Horns and frills seemed to vary among individuals within the species. Some frills were very broad, others narrow. The nasal horn shows the most variance among individual specimens, no two being the same. The material that covered its horns in life would have added significantly to the length of the fossilized bone.

In 2009 researchers under supervision of Jack Horner argued that Triceratops was actually a juvenile version of Torosaurus. The massive frill of Triceratops would grow longer and thinner in time, until it may have had the same holes as seen in Torosaurus. However, this evidence is still open to criticism and is still yet to be fully accepted by the scientific community

Stegosaurus.
Stegosaurus is easily one of the best known dinosaurs and is recognized all over the world. It is the largest and most famous member of the stegosaur family. It roamed the open plains of the Late Jurassic Period in what is now North America. The plates along its back, its small head and spiked tail make it a peculiar and unique dinosaur. This plant-eater evolved to find its food in the low-growing plants of the late Jurassic. The spikes on its tail would have made a powerful weapon against any hungry predators.

Stegosaurus is often called the dumbest dinosaur because of its incredibly small brain. In fact, most scientists originally believed that its brain was too small to control such a large creature and that it used an auxiliary "brain" located above its rear legs to help control its movements. This was not actually a brain, but a bundle of nerves that helped relay information from its real brain. Its brain was once thought to have been the size of a walnut, but CAT-scans proved that it was actually the size of a kitten.

Most fascinating to people are the plates along its back. There has been a great deal of debate about their use and arrangement. The plates were up to 2-feet tall and 2-feet wide (0.6 meters). The most prevalent theory is that they were used for cooling or heating the animal. A more recent theory, however, suggests that they could have been used as a display during courtship and that they may have been brightly colored. It is also possible that they could move up and down, perhaps to intimidate predators.

The spikes on its tail are also the subjects of some controversy. For years, every model of Stegosaurus showed it with the spikes sticking up into the air. It is only since the 1990s that it has become accepted that these spikes stuck out horizontal to the ground, which would have been a potent defensive weapon when swung at a hunter.

Stegosaurus would have lived in family groups and herds, moving slowly through forests while eating the low-growing plants. Its front legs were considerably shorter than its hind legs, making it adapted to nibbling the plants closest to the ground. Stegosaurus is the namesake for a large family of dinosaurs whose members were found all over the world. The Stegosaurus (its code name "Stego") was a peaceful herbivore and probably roamed the prehistoric highlands in herds that size from small to large numbers, grazing on low ground plants. An average Stegosaurus was about the size of an elephant, standing about 11 feet tall. It had a very low intelligence (its brain was the size of a kitten). The bony plates on its back may have served a dual purpose of a body temperature regulation and protection from large flesh-eating predators. Different species varied in the number of plates on their backs

Parasaurolophus.
Parasaurolophus is a genus of hadrosaurid (sometimes referred to as the hadrosaurs or duck-billed dinosaurs) from approximately 76.5–73 million years ago (late Cretaceous). It is a herd animal feeding on the park's rich vegetation. The most stunning feature of the Parasaurolophus is the crest on its head. Scientists were unsure of its function until today. Some believed it was a snorkel for when the animal was in the water, others felt that it was used in combat. We now know that it serves for display and for communication, allowing the animals to remain in contact over distance by amplifying their loud cries.

The locals are impressed seeing these mighty dinosaurs in the place, but then something surfaces from the lake and everyone is surprised to see the large fish eating dinosaur, whom which is well-known by Sid, Adelaide and Becca Chang. The Spinosaurus Shepherd.

Spinosaurus.
Spinosaurus (meaning "spined lizard") is an extinct genus of spinosaurid theropod dinosaur that existed in what is now North Africa during the Cretaceous period. Spinosaurus is the largest of all known carnivorous dinosaurs, even larger than Carcharodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus rex.

Its most distinctive feature was the huge sail-like fin on its back. This sail was comprised of spines that extended from the top of the backbones of all dinosaurs and backboned animals. The spines of Spinosaurus were tremendous, the longest one found measured over 1.7 meters (5 feet) tall. The sail might have been used to attract a mate, making it look bigger to other predators it shares with, or act as a dorsal fin as it moves through the water.

The dinosaur surfaces and has some fish in its mouth and then eats them and then he roars and this alarms some of the long necked dinosaurs to steer away for a while then the Spinosaurus dives back into the water. This confuses some of the folks and then Zach asks. "Wait, I thought this dinosaur eats other dinosaurs."

"Not true." Jordan arrives on the back of Dominic. "The movie was told with a point of view that all of you thought it ate the people, but it did not. The Spinosaurus is a fish eating beast, and the reason why it attacked them, they are quite territorial and they were still within his territory. They can hold a very strong and long lasting territorial grudge, unless you leave their zone."

Lincoln arrives on his Netherdrake. "They rivaled the T-Rex and are capable of taking them down, but their best way to take down another predator is to bring them onto their own terms, their own battlegrounds. The water, drown the meat-eating foe in the bottom of the lake, or swamp. They will bite and claw, when they are far from any large source of water."

They all continue to watch these large and ancient beasts walking around the Park, and they don't seem to mind the Pokémon. Then Clyde asks. "Guys, are there any actual meat eating dinosaurs here in town?"

"That would be located near Spellman Estate." They see Gwen Spellman approach them and she is carrying Lily. "The Velociraptor's whom I know are living well by the back of our home, and we're treating each other with respect."

Then Stella asks. "Weird. Why the heck would the Velociraptor's wanna stay with you guys?"

Gwen then recalls. "Well, after what happened when we saved them from near extinction again. They have become fond of us, and wanna reside at the back of the Estate, on the other side of the walls and keeping an eye on our home, and if something does wanna cause trouble, then they come to defend and attack."

"The Presence of the Velociraptor's will maintain balance in the population of the other dinosaurs around here. These large plant eaters need predators, and because they are here at the moment, they won't strike otherwise there will be a stampede. So, once these plant-eaters take refuge on the outskirts by the open plains, then they will hunt."

"Now that is what I call an impressive display of balance of nature" replied Katherine Mulligan and her baby wants to touch these dinosaurs. "So, chances of trouble from the dinosaurs is possible?"

"Obviously" replied Linka, she arrives on the back of her Netherdrake. "There will be some complications, but that would be as normal as a common animal causing some trouble around town, but these dinosaurs have also learnt not to mess with something of human creation or they will pay the price fo the damages."

They all understand this, and so does Mayor Davis and Sienna Khan and they all continue to watch these large creatures from the past roam their world, and to Sienna Khan, this is better than creatures of Grimm.

Lincoln then sees the time. "Well, gotta go now. Need to go and help some other worldly folks with muy mom and Sam." He gives Jordan a quick kiss, and then he rides off onto his Netherdrake.

Rusty then asks. "So, where the heck does he go sometimes? What is this other world he has to help out?"

Linka smirks. "That is a trade secret guys, and we're not telling."

To be continued on February 23.

A/N: Dinosaurs now here, in Royal Woods. A balance with plant-eaters and a pack of meat eaters, and a fish eating giant too, and what is going on with Lincoln? Well, that would be for next time to find out. I hope you all enjoyed this new chapter guys.
