"So why would it start to open now?"

"No idea." The Doctor replied shortly as he continued to stare thoughtfully at the Pandorica.

"Ahem." Amy cleared her throat to remind them all of her presence. She cocked a brow. "And how could Vincent have known about it? He won't even be born for centuries."

The Doctor and Terry paused as Amy raised a good question. The Doctor started to sonic around the stonewalls.

"The stones." He realized. "These stones are great big transmitters, broadcasting a warning to everyone, everywhere, to every time zone. The Pandorica is opening."

At once, Terry's eyes went wide. River was just as alarmed and she asked sharply, "Doctor, everyone everywhere?"

"Even poor Vincent heard it, in his dreams." The Doctor went on, ignoring River. "But what's in there? What could justify all this?"

"Doctor, everyone?" River repeated urgently. Again the Doctor talked over her.

"Anything that powerful, I'd know about it." The Doctor's eyes flickered over to Terry again. This time she saw his look and her brow shot up as she realized what he was talking about. But she had a more important question.

"Why don't I know?" The Doctor was saying when Terry cut across him.

"Doctor, River's got a point. You said everyone could hear it." She said sternly.

The Doctor started to nod before he abruptly stopped as he realized what had already occurred to River and Terry.

"So who else is coming?" Terry asked aloud as the Doctor's face flooded with horror.

"Oh." He whispered, confirming River and Terry's fears.

"Oh? Oh, what?" Amy asked, but the other three were already getting busy.

River turned to the walls as she said shakily, "Okay. If it is basically a transmitter, we should be able to fold back the signal."

She placed her computer on the wall as the Doctor dashed to a wall, calling to River as he soniced it, "Doing it."

"Doing what?" Amy demanded, and Terry turned to the companion.

"Stonehenge is transmitting, out to the whole universe. Loud enough that Vincent heard from centuries into the future. So, who knows who else has heard."

Amy's mouth fell open as she finally understood.

"Okay, should be feeding back to you now." The Doctor called over to River. "River, what's out there? Getting anything?"

"Give me a moment." River replied shortly and the Doctor snapped impatiently, "River, quickly. Anything?"

"I said, give me a moment!" River snapped back, annoyed. "Seriously, angel, how do you put up with him?"

"He makes up for it tenfold." Terry answered briskly as the Doctor demanded, "River, have you got a reading yet?"

At River's irate look, Terry added, "Most of the time. River, anything?"

River turned back to her computer and her face fell as she read the results flashing on her screen.

"Around this planet there are at least… ten thousand starships." River sounded like she was questioning her own eyes.

"At least?" Amy repeated weakly while Terry asked, "River, are you sure?"

"Ten thousand, a hundred thousand, a million, I don't know. There's too many readings." River admitted as she tried to keep up with the information her computer was now giving her. The Doctor meanwhile was looking up at the ceiling.

"What kind of starships?" The Doctor asked.

His question was immediately answered while Terry sucked in a sharp breath as the chilling, familiar voice of a Dalek called out across all of Stonehenge.

"Maintaining orbit."

"Daleks." Terry hissed as the Doctor's face filled with horror while another Dalek answered the first.

"I obey. Shield cover compromised on ion sectors."

Amy reached over to Terry and clutched the shorter woman's hands as they all stared up at the ceiling tightly while the Daleks continued to speak.

"Scan detects no temporal activity."

"Soft grid scan commencing."

"Angel." River whispered, placing a hand on the other woman for support or comfort. Probably both.

"Launch preliminary armaments protocol." The first Dalek ordered and the Doctor finally moved.

He began to pace frantically as he thought aloud.

"Yes. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Dalek fleet, minimum twelve thousand battleships, armed to the teeth. Ah!" The Doctor whirled around triumphantly to face the others again. "But we've got surprise on our side. They'll never expect four people to attack twelve thousand Dalek battleships."

Terry stared at him incredulously while the Doctor continued excitedly.

"Because we'd be killed instantly."

Terry slapped her face with her hand while the Doctor muttered. "So it would be a fairly short surprise. Forget surprise."

He whacked himself on the head with his screwdriver, just as another voice started to speak over the transmitter.

"Course correction proceeding."

"Cybermen!" Terry gasped while River warned, "Doctor, Cyberships."

"Yes, got that, thanks." The Doctor groaned and he started to pace again. "Well, we need to start a fight, turn them on each other. I mean, that's easy. It's the Daleks. They're so cross."

He turned back to face Terry hopefully, only for his hopes to be dashed as River continued to read off her computer, "Sontaran. Four battlefleets."

"Sontarans." The Doctor repeated in disbelief. "Talk about cross, who stole all their handbags?"

"Um, you?" Terry pointed out dryly before she paled as River started to list aloud.

"Terileptil. Slitheen."

River's voice had gone flat as she was no longer able to cope with the amount of fear she felt.

"Chelonian, Nestene, Drahvin. Sycorax, Haemogoth, Zygon, Atraxi, Draconian." River raised her eyes from her computer. "They're all here for the Pandorica."

The Doctor had turned to stare at the Pandorica and he murmured in confusion, "What are you? What could you possibly be?"

He touched it briefly before he reached over to Terry. She grasped his hand tightly and they didn't even need to speak telepathically before they both started to run out of the chamber. River and Amy followed quickly and together the four ran out into Stonehenge. Terry's eyes widened when she finally saw the sky above her head again. Thousands of spaceships flew around, engines glowing like morbid stars.

"What do we do?" Amy whispered in terror.

"Doctor, listen to me." River ordered. "Everything that ever hated you is coming here tonight. You can't win this. You can't even fight it."

The Doctor didn't answer and River snapped at him, "Doctor, this once, just this one time, please, you have to run."

"Run where?" The Doctor shot back.

"Fight how?" River countered before gesturing at Terry. "Doctor, think! You can't leave angel out here with that up there!"

She pointed up at the sky again but the Doctor wasn't listening. His eyes were focused on something in the distance and the Doctor reached into Terry's pocket to pull out the binoculars he knew she carried in them.

"Doctor?" Terry asked and the Doctor lowered his binoculars.

"The greatest military machine in the history of the universe." He murmured and Amy looked over in alarm.

"What is? The Daleks?" Amy asked fearfully.

"No." The Doctor turned to face them again. "No, no, no, no, no. The Romans."

Terry waited patiently in the wooden cage she'd been all but shoved into after she and River arrived at the Roman camp (and by horse!). River had had the honour of being dragged to meet the commander while Terry was left to supposedly stew.

Instead, she pouted as she thought about the Doctor's success in shooing her off away from the impending war zone. His argument that Terry was needed to fly the Tardis had been ridiculous considering River could fly the old girl just as easily. But of course, River was only too happy to take Terry with her and had even gone so far as to pretend to break her hand in order to convince Terry she was needed with her at the Tardis. That had been the reason Terry finally gave in: she knew River was more than capable of going to extreme lengths to get what she wanted.

It didn't mean she was happy about it. Especially when she was locked in a wooden cage while the Doctor was so far away and at the mercy of literally every single one of his enemies. Except maybe the Master. Terry paused and then groaned; she'd probably jinxed them all by thinking that.

Terry was broken from her thoughts as River returned with a Roman guard. The man opened her cage for her and Terry was quick to leave the confined space.

"How'd it go?" Terry asked her friend as she walked over. River smirked.

"All taken care of."

"Really?" Terry raised a brow. She knew River was good. But that was good. "How?"

"We had a volunteer."

At Terry's questioning look, River shrugged. "Some Centurion."

Terry nodded. Whoever it was, it wasn't important. What was important was getting back to the Doctor. And quickly. No matter what the cost.

Terry sat grumpily astride her horse. Her butt was seriously starting to hurt. And so were her feet now. If she ever needed to ride a horse again, she was certainly not going to wear oxfords again, that was for sure. Shifting uncomfortably in her saddle, Terry refocused as she watched the army of spaceships whizzing around in the sky above Stonehenge.

Terry shook her head as she raised her (or rather, temporarily hers and really Amy's) phone to her ear.

"You're surrounded." Terry said into her phone. The Doctor's sigh crackled over the receiver.

"I noticed." He answered. "When are you getting here? I need equipment from the Tardis. Also, there's… something here I want you to see."

"'Equipment'. Look who's trying to be impressive." Terry teased before tilting her head curiously. "And what is it?"

"Did I succeed?" The Doctor asked back cheekily. Terry laughed.

"You forget I'm the woman who already knows everything, Sweetie."

"But you're still impressed." The Doctor countered, and Terry grinned.

"Always."

"Good. Now hurry back, it's hard to explain over the phone but there's someone here who's missed you."

"That someone's not in your pants, is he?" Terry asked with a raised brow.

The Doctor spluttered and she could picture him going bright pink.

"Angel!"

The Doctor paused before adding in a softer voice, "I always miss you, Terry. But no," his voice returned to its normal tone. "This is a real surprise."

"Now I'm curious." Terry hummed. "Okay, I'll be there in a second."

"I'll miss you the entire time."

Terry smiled as she hung up and turned around. Only to stop as she saw River watching her with a disgusted expression from beside the Tardis.

"You two are revolting." River muttered. "Even worse than my parents."

Terry chuckled. "Let's be honest, River - no one could beat Amy and Rory."

Terry suddenly paused as she realized… Rory. He came back at some point, didn't he? But how did he do it? She'd known this, she'd seen him come back and saw his wedding in her visions… But how? Where? When?

"Angel?" River asked from just inside the Tardis, looking back at the Time Lady curiously. "You coming?"

"Yeah." Terry nodded and she hurried off her horse and into the Tardis, behind River. She'd come back to her questions around Rory later.

They entered the Tardis, just missing as the Doctor ran out into Stonehenge to begin his big speech. Instead, Terry and River started to take off, disappearing effortlessly and smoothly… until the Tardis suddenly jerked.

"Woah!"

They both grabbed the Tardis console in alarm, barely managing to stay upright as the Tardis spun and twisted and turned.

"What's going on?" Terry demanded while River cried at the Tardis, "What's the matter with you?"

The Tardis just continued rocking and spinning, like she was trying to throw them off their feet. Terry tried to check the scanner but it wasn't working.

"Sexy! This isn't the time for this, the Doctor needs us!" Terry cried but the Tardis ignored her as she continued to spin wildly off somewhere.

"What are you doing? What's wrong?" River demanded. But the old girl didn't respond.

Terry and River barely managed to hang on as they tumbled through space and time. The Tardis finally came to a stop, throwing River and Terry into each other as they clutched the console. They banged heads as a result and Terry rubbed her head with a wince.

"Ow. Okay, Sexy, if this is about the time when the Doctor and I threw our clothes all over your console-"

"No, stop, I don't want to know about your night life." River groaned as she straightened up. For a moment, they remained in silence as the Tardis didn't move either.

"Oh, now you're okay?" River asked in exasperation. Deciding she'd better intervene, Terry pulled at the scanner.

"Where are we?"

She tapped the scanner but it just whizzed and fizzled as it slid in and out of focus. Terry sighed while River tried hitting the screen. It didn't help.

"Right. Someone's really put out." Terry muttered as she turned toward the doors.

"You and the Doctor must have been really bad if she's trying to keep you two apart." River observed as she walked with Terry. Terry shrugged.

"Well, we have our days."

As River made a face, Terry teased, "Oh, come on, don't act innocent. You can't say you haven't imagined it at least once before."

"Oh, I have, plenty of times." River answered without missing a beat. She stopped at the doors and smirked at Terry.

"But usually, the Doctor's not in my dreams."

Terry rolled her eyes while River winked before she opened the door. They both stopped in their tracks as soon as they saw where they were.

"Why did it bring us here?" Terry wondered as she glanced back at the Tardis console before looking back at Amy's house. It was exactly as she remembered it… almost.

"Someone's been here." Terry murmured as she examined the scorch marks in the lawn. River started on ahead and she stopped when she reached the archway in the garden.

"Or something." She observed dryly.

Terry walked over to join River and she stared silently at the front door that hung off its hinges. River pulled out her computer and started scanning as Terry poked her head into the house.

"Careful." River warned but Terry was already making her way deeper into the house. River followed her as Terry slowly made her way up the stairs.

"It doesn't look like whatever was here lingered." She murmured and River's scanner beeped in confirmation.

"Already gone." River agreed as she followed Terry into Amy's bedroom. River looked around warily while Terry pulled a flashlight and peered inside. Amy's room looked virtually untouched and Terry frowned as she walked deeper inside. River paused as she spotted one of Amy's 'Raggedy Doctor' dolls on the dresser.

"Amy." She sighed, shaking her head. "Oh, angel, why do you let the Doctor out?"

"Because he is worth all the monsters." Terry answered with a smirk.

River rolled her eyes goodnaturedly. But Terry winced as something - a memory? a vision? - flashed through her mind.

"Hello, Stonehenge! Who takes the Pandorica, takes the universe." The Doctor's voice echoed around the famous stone monument.
