Unusual Suspects

"-and after we managed to free ourselves, me and Rad Russian freed the other slaves from other alien races that these beings had captured as well." Nolan explained to Cecil as Kali set down a plate of spaghetti down in front of him. He looked up at her, now clean shaven except for his mustache and smiled gratefully, "Thanks hon, anyway, me and Russian then led them through a revolt so that we could overthrow the current government and believed we had succeeded. However as they were readying a portal for us to leave through, one of the royal sympathizers had managed to infiltrate the event and seemed to attach explosives to himself. Before I could react, Russian blasted me through the portal to get me back here." he explained to the head of the GDA who sat across from him, his hands folded in front of himself as he took in all the information that Nolan had given him.

He released a long sigh, "Well shit. Knowing him he probably survived the attack, he has the longevity of radiation after all, but who knows how long it'll take to reconstruct the damage done on their end." he said bitterly. Nolan nodded in understanding as Cecil stood up, "Thank you Nolan, I'll notify the Russian government about what's happened, they're still preparing for another invasion so they'll hopefully be happy to know it's not coming." he said as Noland stood and leaned over the table to shake his hand.

"No problem, and thanks for the heads up about this killer. If you want, I can start watching some people's backs in my downtime." he offered.

Cecil shook his head, "No, don't think it's at that point yet, but if you see anything. Feel your being watched? Don't hesitate to reach out." he offered before his doorway appeared and he walked through.

As it closed, Mako stood a in it's place with his arms crossed over his chest, "Glad your back dad." he said welcomingly before letting out a yawn. "Now if you two will excuse me, I'm heading to bed, got school tomorrow." he said as he began walking towards the stairs.

"Hold up. Aren't you going to tell him?" Kali asked in amusement, making her son stop at the foot of the stairs.

Nolan recognized the tone and looked over at his son with a bemused expression, "Tell me what?" he asked, resting his hands on his hips.

Mako rubbed the back of his head, "Oh! That alien guy? The one who stops by every few years? We don't need to deal with him anymore." he said, making Nolan's smile be replaced with a look of shock. "Yeah turns out he was just coming to the wrong planet this whole time." he said.

Nolan snorted and covered his mouth with one of his hands, "Seriously?" he asked amusingly.

Kali rolled her eyes, "No, not that…..ok but that is nice for you, but I'm talking about Melissa!" Kali said excitedly, making her son's face flush red while Nolan looked at her curiously.

"Melissa….wait, David's girl? What about her?" he asked before looking at his son.

Mako felt his face and neck get warm, "We….had dinner last night at I-Island." he said with a shrug, leaning on the railing of the staircase. Trying to really downplay the romantic undertones, which worked about as well as he expected when he saw the smirk his dad gave him, Couldn't have stayed stuck in the other dimension could he? he asked himself.

"Really?" he asked teasingly.

"Dad. Please." he said as his father floated over to his side and put his hand on his shoulder.

"Now listen son, there's something we need to talk about-" he began playfully as Mako shoved his hand away nonchalantly. Kali bursting into a fit of giggles as Nolan let out a chuckle, "But really, she seems like a fine young lady." he praised genuinely, making his son smile at him. "Are you seeing her again?" he asked.

Mako nodded, "Yeah, I want to plan something special but nothing too…..out there." he explained.

Kali barked out a laugh, "Oh honey don't ask our father about that." she warned, Nolan looking at her in bafflement.

"What are you talking about? I took you to Italy for our second date." he protested.

"On the second date?" Mako asked incuriously, he turned to his mom who nodded. "That seems kind of big."

Kali shrugged as she went to the living room, "Oh it wasn't too bad, it was just how your dad acted. He had a pretty big head when we first met, like he wanted everyone to bow in superiority." she joked.

Nolan smiled and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "I might have come on a little strong. But, you did ask to see me again." he pointed out as she took a seat on the couch. He leaned over to his son, "Also saving a bus full of kids helped." he admitted, Mako letting out and 'ahh' of understanding. "But your mother has a point, just do something you'll both enjoy, maybe don't take her off the Island, but something you'll both enjoy."

"Like a movie?" Mako pondered as he cupped his chin, "Huh, that actually might work. Thanks dad." he said gratefully before walking up the stairs to his room. Nolan smiling before turning to his wife on the couch, walking over he sat down beside her and let her lean her head against his shoulder.

She let out a sigh of bliss, "I'm glad your back." she said happily as Nolan's arms snaked around her waist and pulled her close so he could kiss her cheek.

"I missed you." he said before kissing her again, this time on the mouth. Pulling away, he smiled at her as his eyes looked into her's, "I missed you a lot." he said lowly before kissing her neck, making Kali squirm in his arms while his lips tickled the flesh of her neck.

"Mmmmm, M-Mako is in his room-" she breathed out with a smile.

"Which is why we soundproofed ours." he said playfully before lifting his wife up into his arms and floating them up into the air and to their bedroom.

Meanwhile Cecil Steadman walked through the halls of the United States Pentagon's underground complex for the GDA, beside him was a man around his age with a close shaved head and pair of sunglasses covering his eyes as he looked over a report. "The Preliminary Autopsy on Chistohper Skyline didn't tell us much due to decomposition, but I have our revival team on it, they should be able to wind back the clock on decomposition to just after his death, but we can't estimate when that may be." the man explained to Cecil who curtly nodded.

"Alright then, what's the status of the other potential targets?" he asked as they turned down a hall that led to a pair of large doors.

"Ghost teams are on standby, most of them are easy to keep up with, a few are giving us trouble but I had dispatch approve some aircraft to follow them in." his assistant explained.

Cecil nodded again as they reached the doors, "Go ahead with that." he said as the doors slid opened to a smaller darker room. Off to the walls on either side of Cecil his people observed the monitors they were stationed at. In front of him was a large window that looked into an interview room, in front of the window was a older man that was more around Cecil's age. He too had a his hair in a buzzcut, however unlike the assistant who wore a suit, this man wore a pair of cargo pants with a dark green Henley shirt, "Brit, what's the word?" Cecil asked as he walked over to the man.

He turned to the interview room where a young woman with long black hair sat at the desk inside with a cup of coffee in her hands, her tired and sad eyes were behind a pair of thin rimmed glasses, "Makoto Tsukaunchi, she's Skyline's Manager, we informed her about an hour ago about his passin', she's taking it as well as she can." he explained to the head of the GDA. "She was also the last person to talk to him, I'm 'bout to interview her." he explained.

Cecil sighed, "Alright do it, hopefully we can get a clearer timeframe of when he went missing." he said with a nod. Brit returned it before walking into the room and closing the door behind him, Makoto looked up from her coffee to the man s he approached the table. "Afternoon Ma'am, my name is Brit and I work with the Guardians of the Globe, I understand you might be able to help us understand more about the wareabouts of Mr. Skyline before his….passing." he said carefully, taking note of the saddened look the manager had.

She nodded, "Yes I…..we met the day he went missing, we were talking about his next visit to Japan and I was visiting my family so he came to me." she recalled, a bittersweet took over her features. "His wife Pamala is pregnant again, little Cory is so excited about having a little brother or sister…." she trailed off sadly.

Brit felt his jaw tighten briefly, "We've already contacted her and explained the situation…I know it's not much, but we'll be making sure they're provided for." he offered. Makoto pursed er lips together and nodded her head in gratitude, "Now then, the day you met him, when did you last see him?" he asked.

"When the American HSC got attacked, I had an alert on my phone, Chris took off straight for the states right after that." she recalled before taking a sip of her coffee. "He said we'd talk later, I didn't hear anything from him for a few days but I assumed it was just because of the recovery effort." the manager reasoned. "But when I called Pam, she asked me if I had seen him and I felt something was wrong." she shook her head in disappointment, "I'm sorry, I wish I had more to offer-" she began before Brit shook his head.

"No that really helps." he said, glancing to the mirror to his right out the corner of his eye.

On the other side of the one way mirror, Cecil turned to Donald who was on the phone, "Get the decomposition guy down to Skyline. We get a time of death we might be able to triangulate where he went down." he ordered. Donald nodded as he relayed the order over his phone while Cecil turned to the doors they came from.

Skyline was the first victim of this killer, and since then they've been striking at various heroes at different locations around the world. But if skyline took off directly from Japan then there's a pretty damn narrow time for them to strike at him. he thought to himself. All the heroes killed so far where top rated for a reason, they were hard to kill a number of ways with a few of them just being immune to certain types of attacks. If there was one good thing about the large pool of victims, they could use process of elimination to determine what quirk the killer had.

That's if it's just one killer. he thought to himself, there had been rumors circulating through their underground contacts that someone was trying to form a group of villains together in Japan. But they didn't fit the profile, these attacks were on a global scale, and the reports were unconfirmed and coming out of Japan only. He couldn't waste time on it until some actual evidence came out while there was a killer on the loose targeting their first line of defense from Earth grown threats.

Making his way through the base, he soon came to the medical lab where on a laid out table, the decomposing body of Christopher skyline was slowly being reconstituted by a man holding onto the head as flesh began to grow back over the skull. The old man preforming the process had a grim expression as Cecil approached him, the head of the GDA watching as muscles and tissue began to fill back the inside of the costume, "After thirty years of this I still am not used to this." the medical examiner said as he watched an eyeball reform with the flesh of the eyelid growing back over it.

Cecil also felt a small wave of queasiness pass over him as he watched the man's quirk rewind his body back from the remains that had been recovered. He pushed the feeling aside, "Well you might want to work on that doc, what can you tell so far?" he asked.

The medical examiner pointed to the chest where a large gaping hole had been, "Well from what I've observed, the wound in his chest is what killed him. However the exact cause of it is still unclear. Skyline was tough, but he wasn't bulletproof, could just be some high caliber ammunition, some explosive rounds, or some sort of weapon of some kind." he explained.

Cecil frowned at the news, "Christ is there anything you can tell me that helps?" he asked tersely.

The man gave him a even look, "Well there were no water in his lungs, he wasn't drowned. But also no fingerprints on the costume, so while he was found in the water I don't believe he was taken there." he explained. Cecil pursed his lips together in thought, that actually could narrow down whatever the quirk the killer has. As Cecil was in thought, a pair of heavy footsteps approached them from behind, looking over his shoulder he was met with the glowing green eyes of an automaton. It's body was based on a human's with arms and legs, coated in a bronze color with a exaggerated skull shaped head with a singular cylinder extruding out the back of it's head. "Robot, any news?" he greeted.

"Yes actually, after hearing Makoto's testimony I think I have something of value." he robotic voice modulated before a holographic image projected out of his eyes, showing the director a flattened map of the world, focused on Japan in the center. "She told us that at 6:24 p.m. she met with the deceased, and a few minutes later reports about the attack reached them. Based on his recorded top speed of just above Mach 1.5, I can extrapolate where he was killed based on the variable that he went straight for America." he explained as a line from Japan went straight for the United States across the pacific ocean. "I also added the possibility of him taking other routes but I believe this is the best theory. And given where he was discovered, I looked back at ocean currents and have an area of where he must have been killed." he further explained, a small circle appearing over a area of empty land.

Cecil rested his hands on his hips as he looked at the area around the place where Christopher was killed on the map. "No landmass for miles, you check for registered flights?" he asked.

Robot nodded, "I did, there were no flights, commercial or private, anywhere near the area."

The medical examiner turned around, "And given the bruising I've observed? He fell from a pretty damn high point to the water. Like fifteen stories." he added.

Cecil clicked his tongue, "Well we know one thing for sure now, our killer can fly."

"I'm glad to hear your dad is back." Izuku said happily to his friend as they walked down he street from the train platform towards the school. Izuku noticed his friend suddenly seemed to look off ahead of them with a distant look in his eyes, a blank but clearly affected look on his face as he continued walking. "M-Mako?" he asked, snapping his friend out of his trance.

"What?! Yeah, yes it's…..yeah he's back." he replied quickly, remembering the…noises that he heard last night. "He's….sure is back all right." he said before looking down in dismay. Izuku blinked at him, he was tempted to ask if something was wrong but part of him told him that he might be better off not knowing. "Anyway, I'm actually really glad he's back. I was thinking of asking him to train me a little more." he explained.

Izuku looked at him curiously, "Really? With what specifically?" he asked curiously as they turned the corner, ahead of them they saw Iida and Uraraka stopped on the sidewalk while Iida was kneeling down to tie his shoe. Seeing them approach, th gravity girl smiled and waved at them which they returned.

"Honestly I just need to fight better, After fighting Allen and Bakugo I realized I haven't really had a ton of combat experience." he admitted. Mako was well aware that he was far stronger then normal people, even those with standard strength quirks, but he wasn't immune to damage to the extent of some heroes. Learning how to properly fight was probably the best place to go for him in terms of learning.

"Wait, whose Allen?" Izuku asked.

Mako blinked before looking at him, "Wait, I told you right? Back when the school's gate got torn down? I got called to the principal's office?" he asked as they reached their friends.

"Oh yeah! Is your mom ok?" Uraraka asked with concern.

Mako waved her off, "She's fine. Dad came back yesterday. But I seriously didn't mention I went to space?" he asked. THAT got everyone's attention, the three's jaws dropped and they stared at him in disbelief. "Oh god, ok so I got called in because with my dad busy with that thing in Russia the other day, he couldn't take care of this alien coming to our planet like he does every three years. Cecil, this guy from the GDA-"

Izuku suddenly waved his hands in front of him, "Woah! Woah! Woah! The Global DefenseAgency?! The governing body that oversees all the Hero Safety Comissions?!" he barked out.

Mako nodded, "Yes!" he confirmed.

Uraraka's brain caught up to what she was hearing, "And Alien!? I mean a actual…..oh wait, yeah you're an alien." she suddenly recalled before shaking her head. "But you met another alien? What were they like?" she asked, her interest truly peaked by what Mako was informing them of.

Mako sighed, unbelieving that he didn't tell them already, "Alright so they ask me to go deal with him since my dad is busy. I get changed, fly up, hold my breath, and go into space. And fight this Allen guy. Allen the Alien." he explained briefly.

"Wait you can just hold your breath in space?" Iida asked before cupping his chin, "Although given your strength, it does make sense that you'd have higher lung capacity." he realized.

Mako nodded, "Oh yeah I can hold it for a while. I actually do it when I'm flying really high up because of how thin the air is." he explained, recalling the lessons in flight his dad had given him when he first got his powers.

Iida cupped his chin, "Interesting, I actually know some breathing techniques that might help with that. I had to learn how to control my cardio better when I use my engines." he explained, lifting his foot off the ground to add to his point.

"Seriously? That'd be cool Iida thanks." Mako said gratefully before shaking his head, "Right! Alien, anyway he tussle in space, I slam him into the moon but then we get a chance to talk-oh yeah he had telepathy." he quickly added as Izuku opened his mouth again. "And we talk, turns out he's part of some Coalition of Planets and he goes from planet to planet to test out their defender. And he's been coming to the wrong one for like thirty years!" he exclaimed.

The trio blinked in disbelief, "That's…" Iida began.

"Really…." Uraraka continued.

"…..relatable." Izuku finished.

Mako's hands raised up over his head, "Right!? Anyway, we talked, he got sent on his way, and now he won't bother us again." he said with a proud smile on his behalf. While he may not have outright defeated Allen, he still managed to do something his dad wasn't able to and stop him from having to come back to Earth.

Izuku beamed at him, "Mako that's amazing! You did actual hero work!" he praised, his friend smiling as he rubbed the back of his head in a somewhat sheepish manner.

Uraraka raised her fists, "Aw man that actually gets me fired up! I can't wait for school today! I can't wait to be able to do this sorta stuff!" she said with excitement with the group seemed to share as they walked through the gates of the school.

"Have someone inform the Russian Prime Minister about Rad Russian. Tell him that we're looking into possible options for rescue." Cecil said to one of the workers in the command room as he walked past the multiple monitors on the wall in front of multiple rising rows of desks. Each of the workers in here were assigned different duties to ensure the public safety, the assignments given ranged in terms of scale but none were less important then the other. A memo to the wrong hero agency could lead to disaster after all, "And check to see who set to take his place in the meantime." he added.

The worker nodded as one in the row behind them looked up, "Sir there's a predicted earthquake that's due to hit California from our deep ground vibration rods." she explained. "Which agencies should I alert?"

"Forward the report to the state government, they can coordinate with local law recovery heroes to prepare. How's out efforts to have more rods installed in the Caribbean?" he asked.

"Still waiting to hear back." they replied.

Cecil sighed tiredly, "Sir, the autopsy report from Skyline just came in." one of the techs said. Cecil reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, tapping a few buttons on the screen he pulled up the report and projected it in front of him in a hologram so he could read over it.

T.O.D. 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14th, location found are the coordinates, and cause of death immense blunt force trauma and lacerations through chest cavity from behind? he read to himself. It lined up with Skyline's killer being able to fly, and a surprise attack from above him would make sense if the killer didn't want to risk being caught or seen. But it takes a great deal of strength do something like this to someone, let alone skyline who was durable due to his Tactile Telekinesis, which not only allowed him to fly but gave him increased strength and durability.

Flight and Strength…..that means that this is a single killer, not a group. And explains how they've been avoiding detection. he thought. "Someone pull up radar traffic from April 14th, around 6:45 that night." he ordered. One of the techs nodded and with a few keystrokes, pulled up a map of the world on the big screen. "Focus on the Pacific, coordinates, 25.695592128505787, 162.68881494019556." he read out from his report. The Map zoomed in on the area, Cecil watching as they scrubbed back through the timeline of the radar data. There were two blips on the radar.

"Alright one of those is our killer, I want you to follow it and give me it's current location." he said.

"From April to now?" Cecil turned back to face the tech who visibly swallowed before nodding. The head of the GDA watching as they followed the blip on the screen from over ten months ago.

Mako slipped the gloves of his costume on with excitement for today's lesson, after getting to their hero course they were informed by Aizawa that he, All Might, and another hero would he overlooking their first Rescue training exercise today. It was actually something Mako was very interested to learn about, With my flight and strength, I think I'll be pretty good at this. he thought to himself hopefully as he pulled his mask down over his head. Looking to Izuku, he saw that his friend had opted to instead wear his gym clothes for the exercise, "ok I gotta ask, what's with the like half face mask thing?" he asked, poiting to the piece of hard plastic around Izuku's neck.

He looked down at it, "Oh! Well it's to protect my mouth. I want to put people at ease with my smile when they see, like All Might! So I gotta protect myteeth," he explained reasonably.

Mako rubbed his bare chinin contemplation, "Huh…guess that makes sense. But I mean…..plastic?" he asked.

Izuku looked down at it, "Well…..yeah, I'm thinking of getting a metal one or something but I haven't found anything yet." he explained sheepishly as they began to leave the locker room. Izuku looked over at Mako and smiled, "You know, yours is really unique. I like it a lot." he complimented his friend.

The half viltrumite smiled back at him, "Thanks man, I wanted something….well, Iconic. But it took me a while before me and Melissa settled on this." he said, his hand touching the center of his costume. "You know I could ask Melissa if she could make something for you if you wanted. I know your mom made that one but….well your mom is sweet, but an hero costume expert she is not." he said good naturedly.

Izuku nervously chuckled, "Y-yeah…..but still, she gave it to me. And I want to use it….you know?" he asked as they reached the doors to the front of the school where the rest of the class had gathered and a bus was waiting for them all to take to the facility where they'd be training.

"Yeah I understand. I actually had a super hard time coming up with a name to go with the costume but it wasn't until my dad and I talked that I thought of it." he explained, making Izuku's eyes snap over to him with excitement.

"You have a hero name in mind already?" he asked.

Mako nodded, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, "Yeah, it's pretty….optimistic. It's-"

"Everyone! Please listen closely!" Iida's voice rang out, making the two friends stop and turn to the Class Rep as he gestured to the bust they would be taking to the training grounds. "We will form an orderly line and board the bus one at a time, your seat will be determined by your student ID number from smallest to largest!" he instructed. Mako raised his hand, "Yes! Mako?"

"Um…I don't have my ID? I don't have pockets in this thing." he said, gesturing to his costume.

"….oh."

"Same here." Tooga chimed in.

"Me neither." Mina confessed with a sheepish grin.

"Same." Mineta added.

Uraraka tilted her head, "Wait, do you even have pockets Iida?" she asked curiously as she looked at her friend's armored costume.

The class rep stiffened, "I…..er….well…."

"Wait do you even have your ID?" Izuku asked.

"…."

As it would turn out the bus didn't even conform to the seating arrangement that Iida had planned out, leaving the Class Rep sulking in his seat while Mina patted his back. "All that for nothing….what a shame." she consoled.

Mako, whom was sitting on Izuku's right side looking around the bus, "This is weird." he admitted, causing Izuku to look at him curiously.

Kaminari tilted his head, "What is?" he asked.

"Well it's just….I haven't taken public transportation in Months." Mako admitted, when he got his flying license he gave his metro card to some guy who was outside the station begging for some money for a ride. "I mean I just fly everywhere now." he said with a smile and shrug.

Aoyama, the sparking student whose elbows were resting on his knees while he cradled his hands looked over at him, "Ah, bien sûr, if you would fly everywhere why wouldn't you? No?" he asked.

Mako quirked an eye under his mask, Does he actually even know French? he wondered, "Yeah. I mean it's like…..it's a change of pace is all." he said, glancing over at Izuku. His friend and him shared a knowing smile.

Jiro leaned forward on the railing to the back section of the bus, "But wouldn't be a pain if you have to take a lot of stuff with you when you go somewhere?" she asked.

Mako shrugged, "Kind of? I mean my strength helps but if I didn't have that? I'd probably just make multiple trips." he reasoned.

Uraraka's face scrunched up, "That almost makes it not worth it…well actually I guess it depends on how much time you save." she reasoned. "Like if it takes you ten minutes flying but an hour in the car? Then that might be worth it."

Momo tilted her head as she cupped her chin beside the gravity user, "I suppose so. But it'd also depend on what you need to carry, some things can be awkward based on their size and shape." she added thoughtfully.

Shoji's mouth raised on one of his tentacles, "Well if he' strong enough, he could probably just put in a storage container or something and carry that." he thought aloud.

Mako thought back to when his mom got the couch for their living room and his dad needed to fly it up to the deck so they could get it inside easier. But they still had the problem of fitting the damn thing through the doorway to the living room. "Man I could probably just have a delivery service if I wanted to. Get it to you in five minutes or less." he joked.

Tooru's gloves rose up and cradled something, Mako assumed it was her chin, "Or you could do people if you wanted, I mean just fly people across town."

Mako rasied his hand up and tilted it side to side, "Ehhhhhh? There's no good way to carry someone when your flying." he admitted.

Aizawa, at the front of the bus turned to him, "And how would you know that?" he asked, Mako swallowed a lump that quickly formed in his throat.

"I asked my dad to show me…sir." he quickly answered. Aizawa was quiet for a moment before letting out a hum of satisfaction by his answer. Mako felt like he just dodged a bullet, it wasn't like he was going off being a vigilante or anything!

"Wait." Jiro began, "What do you mean there's no good way?"

Mako lifted his arms up and reached out in a cupping motion, "Ok so you can either 'backpack' someone, when you loop your arms underneath their armpits. Or you can carry someone. Backpacking sucks because it's super uncomfortable." he said.

Bakugo rolled his eyes, "Seriously? That's your complaint goggles?" he asked spitefully.

Mako turned to him, "Not for me, for them. I mean if someone holds you up from your armpits like this do you really think that's comfortable?" he asked. Bakugo opened his mouth to shoot back a response, but upon considering it he closed his mouth. "Exactly, and carrying someone is just kind of awkward." he added.

Momo seemed skeptical, "But is that a real reason to not like it?" she asked.

Mako flipped is hands over as he shrugged, "Eh, it could just be me. I've only seen it done the bridal carry way." he said.

Aizawa turned back, "You should try the fireman's carry, you lift them over your shoulders and hold them in place by grabbing their arm and leg on your front." he advised. "You might be able to get away with carrying someone over one of your shoulders due to your strength but I don't recommend that for everyone here." he further explained to the class.

Izuku raised his hand, "Sensei is it ever ok to drag someone?" he asked.

"Generally your safe if you drag them by their upper body, but it can depend on any injuries they sustain." he explained.

Mako turned to Izuku, "Dude you can punch a building, why would you need to drag someone?" he asked skeptically.

"I'm still working on regulating my strength." he replied.

"Ok so can I ask something?" Mina suddenly asked the pair of friends.

"You just did. Kero." Tsuyu said.

The pink skinned pointed at her, "Ok you got me there. But not what I meant!" she said before turning her head to both Izuku and Mako, "Do you guys know each other really well? I mean I see you guys hanging out all the time." she asked.

The greente beside Mako perked up when he did, "Oh! Yeah, me, Mako, and Kachan all grew up together." he explained with a smile as he turned to Mako who smirked back. "Mako came from America when he was young, we've been friends ever since." he explained. Mako smirked and raised a fist, Izuku raised his own and bumped his knuckles against his friends'.

Mina's hands clasped together, "Aww! That's cute!" she cooed. From further down the bus, Bakugo clicked his tongue in annoyance.

Kirishima leaned out from his spot further down the row where Mako and Izuku were sitting on, "That's awesome! So did you guys train a ton growing up?" he asked.

Mako noticed Izuku look down nervously and decided to answer, "Well not exactly, my powers didn't come in until almost a year ago." he answered, making the redhead's eyes widen in surprise at the information.

Mako glanced at his friend who seemed visibly relieved, being powerless had been much more rough for Izuku then for Mako, so it made sense that he didn't want to discuss it. However he didn't notice the look of guilt cross over his friend's features, I know All Might said that I can't tell anyone because of their safety but…..if there's anyone I want to tell? It's Mako. he thought conflictedly.

Tsuyu put a finger to her chin, "That's odd but not unheard of, did it just take time for your quirk to manifest?" she asked.

Mako nodded, "Basically, my dad said that everyone's powers came in by their eighteenth birthday where he comes from." he said. The answer caused most of the students to look at one another in confusion, they all had their quirks manifest early on in life from a young age. Noticing the general confusion, Mako realized why, "Oh! Yeah, my dad is Omni Man."

The bus fell into dead silence, "…..WHAT!?" most of the class, aside from those who already knew shouted at once.

"Yeah, he's my dad. I'm half Viltrumite." he explained with a shrug of his shoulders.

Momo seemed to be visibly surprised by the information, beside her Uraraka snickered, "It's just…..well….that means your half alien."

"Yeah, and?" Mako asked. "I mean for crying out loud everyone on this bus has super powers of some sort. Are aliens really that far of stretch?" he asked.

The class fell silent again as they seemed to process that fact, "I mean when you ut it like that….not really…." Jiro admitted. "I guess it's just…..well he's the only alien we've ever seen." she admitted before realizing her mistake. "Oh, well, second now I guess."

Kaminari leaned back in his seat, "Man I remember that, your dad held this big press conference and told everyone he was here. Something about some….planet help thing?"

"World Betterment Committee." Mako corrected lightly, "Viltrumites basically have this job where they go out to other worlds and help protect them. My dad got selected to go to Earth." he explained.

Tsuyu tilted her head, "Huh, that sort of sounds like a hero agency. But on a much larger scale." she observed. Agencies were led by a single hero for the most part but they could also employ other heroes as sidekicks to help maintain the peace and help take on the burden of maintaining an area's safety.

"Huh….never thought of it like that." Mako admitted.

When he had asked his dad about Viltrum, his father wasn't very descriptive until he asked why he had come to heart.

"After your grandparents died…..I felt like I was aimless. Coming to Earth felt like a chance to start again with something new. Then I met your mom and…..well she changed everything. Turned this from a job into a home, and then you came along and changed it all again." he recalled his father saying.

"I'm not sure I could do that." Mako suddenly said, causing everyone to turn to him questionably. He looked around the bus, "I mean leave everything behind like my dad did. I mean would you guys leave Earth to protect some planet you've never even heard of?" he asked. The question drifted through the bus for few seconds, Aizawa glanced back at his students from the front of the bus and listened closely.

"I mean…..if people needed my help? Maybe." Izuku answered, Mako turned to him in surprise and saw a contemplative look on his friend's face. "I mean, it's not like I couldn't come back right? And if people need someone to save them, then it's our job as heroes to do that right?" he asked.

Mako smiled a little before nodding, "I guess so."

"Wait a second." Mineta began, "Your mom is human right?" he asked Mako.

The half human's lips scrunched together, not entirely seeing where this was going, "Yeah, obviously."

"Ok is she like super strong?" he asked.

"What? No her quirk is she can find stuff she imprints on after losing it. Like her cell or the remote to the TV." he explained, thinking of al the times he and his dad would spend searching for the lost device to watch TV while mom was at work. Nolan had actually gotten to the point where he flew out, grabbed his mom, had her find the remote, then fly her back to work.

Mineta titled his head, "But wait then how are you even here? I mean if he's super strong wouldn't he-" he began before Tsuyu's tongue shot out and slapped him in the back of the head. "OW! Hey at least I'm asking the important questions!" he baked out, missing the blank expression that crossed Mako's face as he once again recalled the…noises…..

All Might foot crashed down onto the hood of a speeding car from above as he landed, the driver shooting through the window from the abrupt stop of the vehicle only to be caught by the back of his shirt by All Might's awaiting hand. "Oh my god!" the thief yelled, the money he had stolen floundering in the wind past him from the abrupt stop. All Might grinned as he set the man down on the ruined hood of the car while the pedestrians around stopped to watch the spectacle.

"Now I don't believe that money belongs to you." the number 1 hero said jovially as he put the villain down onto the hood of the getaway car as his life continued to flash before his eyes.

"Wow it's All Might!"

"He's actually here!"

All Might turned to the crowd of spectators and gave them a thumbs up with a large hopefully smile. Though this was in deference to what he was actually thinking, Oh crap I'm going to be late for school! And this time I'm the teacher! he thought to his own dismay. Before he could leap off towardsthe USJ however, a familiar portal opened in front of the car and Cecil stepped out, "Cecil? I wasn't expecting to see you somewhere-" he began.

Before he could say public, Cecil cut him off, "You, Portal. Now." he ordered, the tense look that he had made it clear that he was serious. All Might's smile briefly faltered into a confused look before nodding and following him through the portal. Upon walking through it he found himself inside the office of the GDA director, standing beside the desk was his assistant Donald who looked up upon their entrance.

"I just got off the phone, I'm heading to the target's house to extract her." he said, Cecil nodded before another portal appeared for him to walk through.

All Might turned to Cecil as Donald left, "Alright what's going on Cecil? You've-"

"First off. Stop using your power right this second, bad enough your wasting the time you have on random bad guy bullshit." he scolded, All Might frowned at the man's tone but unpowered himself regardless, now standing in Cecil's office in a yellow suit that looked a few sizes too big on him. "Second what I'm about to say does not leave this room until…..shit I don't even know." he said before reaching for his phone.

"What's this about?" All Might asked seriously.

Cecil brought up his phone and pressed a button to display the map he had been watching his tech scrub through for hours now, "We discovered that Skyline's killer is a flyer like him. After establishing the cause of death, we pulled up radar data from the day Skyline died and we found this." he said as the image showed two lines, a red and a blue one, one coming from Japan with the red one directly heading to intercept the blue one from America, curving so that I came up from behind Skyline. When it met the blue line, it disappeared. "Now after this we tracked it's movements and wouldn't you know it? It lines up with the time and dates of the other murders." he explained.

All Might watched as the image fast forwarded, showing the red line go from location to location where one pro after another was killed. "We noticed that it frequented Japan so we assumed that our killer lives there. And while we were pulling up records of people with quirks that can fly, this happened." he explained before it showed the red dot fly from Japan to Russia. Two Days ago….and then disappear.

All Might felt like a led ball had been dropped into his gut, "But then….Cecil you have to be absolutely sure about this. If your not-"

"I triple checked the telemetry data. And He's one of the only people who can fly fast enough, hit hard enough, to kill these people." Cecil said in a dire tone.

All Might's fists balled together as steam began to come off his smaller form, for the longest time after his injury he felt a sense of relief that Nolan was around. While he was the number 1 hero of the world, he thought that Nolan could one day surpass him with his abilities and dedication. His teeth grit together in anger as his size began to grow, "Hold off." Cecil said calmly, "Right now we have the upper hand, Nolan doesn't know that we know, and that gives us an advantage." he said before the map Cecil had zoomed in on a image of Japan.

"We're evacuating a section of Japan, we lure him there. Then bliz him before he can have a chance to react, catch him off guard and put him down before he can do any more damage." he said.

"What about Mako? His son?" he asked.

Cecil lifted his hand up, "I've got a team going to his house to extract his mother, and I'm sending Donald to U.A. to get him." he said, putting All Might's fears at ease. "We'll explain everything to them once they get here. Then you're leading the charge against Nolan, I already have the Guardians on standby, and I'm reaching out to Endeavor and some other top heroes for backup." he explained.

All Might nodded, "All right…..all right….." he said more calmly. He thought of his students, Midoriya had told him extensively about Mako during their months of training. He almost expected some sort of jealousy for him to reciveve his power while Izuku didn't, but instead he was touched by the adoration that he had for his friend.

"Even when he was qurikless? Mako didn't let that get to him, he stood up for himself and me at every chance without hesitation, and when he got his powers…I was…..I was afraid for a while because I thought that when it happened he might leave me behind. But…..he didn't, he stayed my friends despite knowing I'd probably never have a quirk and…..that means more to me then I think he'll ever know."

Young Midoriya…. All Might thought somberly before Donald's image appeared on the screen, 'Sir, we have a complication.' Donald's tense features said across the video.

Cecil frowned, "That's not what I want to hear right now Donald, I want some GOOD news." he said tearsely.

'Sir Mako's class is on a field trip, they've tried contacting the teacher's there but we can't get a call through." he explained.

"That is NOT Good news Donald!" Cecil growled out in frustration. "Where is this place?" he asked, "I'll get a portal there." he said simply.

"It's the Unforeseen Simulation Joint." All Might answered, rubbing the back of his curly locks. Earning him a look of disbelief from Cecil. "We….we call it the USJ for short." he added.

"Joint? The fu-never mind." he said before a shimmering Doorway appeared before them only to fizzle out. All Might's eyes widened as Ceil's narrowed, trying again the doorway appeared but flickered before it dissipated once again. "Son of a bitch someone is jamming me." he growled out in anger before looking over at All Might's confused expression. He sighed, "My quirk only works if the aera I'm portaling to has broadband to pinpoint it's location. Something is blocking any signals from coming in or going out….something is wrong." he said before turning to Donald. "Get the teachers there off their asses and over there now!" he ordered.

Huh, it's like Universal Studios Japan. Mako and the class collectively thought as they saw the expanse of the indoor training compound. Beneath the dome roof was a large area that was maybe a quarter mile in diameter with multiple smaller zones spread throughout. The class was atop a platform atop a long staircase that led down to the center pavilion.

"I designed this facility myself to feature every type of disaster and accident you can imagine." a havy costumed heroine in front of the class said She wore a large padded space suit with a black helmet covering her head. She was none other than the rescue heroine 13! Whom Uraraka was bouncing in place beside Izuku in excitement over seeing her favorite hero.

Aizawa walked over to her, "Thirteen, where's All Might? Isn't he supposed to be here?" he asked quietly so the students couldn't overhear them.

She leaned over, "I don't know, he said he was on his way here when I last talked to him, he maybe just ran out of time?" she assumed. The whole teaching staff of UA knew that he had a time limit when it came to how long he could continue to be a hero, so it was possible that he hit his time limit today.

Meanwhile, Mako looked around the facility and noticed the different areas they had set up. There was a flood zone, a earthquake zone, massive fire, and a few others. Man I never really thought of all the different disasters heroes need to face. he thought to himself.

"Alright class before we get started,I have a few points that I need to address." 13 said to the clas, getting their attention. he lifted her gloved hand which had caps on the end of her fingers. "As you might be aware, I have a quirk called Black Hole, it allows me to suck in and tear apart anything within it's way." she explained for those who don't already know.

Uraraka nodded excitedly beside Izuku, "Right! And you've used to it save people from all sorts of disasters!" he chimed in.

She nodded, "Well, yes. But-" she began, making the two stop, "-my power could easily kill, and I have no doubt there are some of you here who have similar powers that if mishandled could do the same." she said seriously.

Mako swallowed, something he was keenly aware of was how his strength could easily kill someone if he didn't pull back on how hard he hit someone. He was extra careful in knocking around Bakugo during their fight for that very reason. "Through Aizawa's training, you learned of how to diversely use your quirks. While with All Might's Battle Training, you were able to experience the danger that your quirks have." 13 recalled. "This class will teach you how you can utilize your quirks to save people's lives. Your powers aren't mean to inflict harm, they're to save people." she said.

Mako smiled and clapped his hands together with a few of the other students as the teacher bowed from her speech. As Aizawa was about to speak however, he noticed something out the corner of his eye caught his attention. In the pavilion at the bottom of the stairs, a swirling black hole appeared above the ground, before e could investigate further a pale hand reached out from the hole and seemingly pulled it apart and widened it. Out of stepped a young man in black clothing with disembodied hands covering parts of his arms and legs, one of the hands clasping over his face directly.

"Thirteen! Protect the students!" he shouted as he and her both noticed the bac vortex widen as people of various shapes and sizes pouring out!

"What the heck is that?" Kirishima asked uneasily as he leaned forward to try and get a better look.

"Don't move! These are villains!" Aizawa ordered, shocking the class.

Mako's adrenaline instantly began to flow, he looked around, "Um, anyone got a phone?" he asked.

Thirteen looked back at him before pulling out hers, only to let out hiss, "They must be jamming signals somehow! Otherwise the alarms would be going off." she hissed.

Mako rushed over, "Give it to me, I'll fly up through the roof and get a call out." he said, 13 looked over at Aizawa who nodded. She handed him her device and Mako immediately shot up through the air with a burst of air shooting out from beneath him over the other students. Holding his one hand out in front of him he ticked the other with the phone against his chest before he blasted through the roof.

From the pavilion, the pale man who led the villains through the portal looked up, beside hm was for lack of a better term a monster. It was massive in size with gigantic muscles covered by it's ink black skin, it's head had a pair of eyes on the side of it's head with a beak extending out the front with teeth inside it, as well as the top of it's head cut away and exposing it's brain. "Nomu. Stop that one." he said, pointing at where the one student had flown up through the roof at.

Meanwhile a good half kilometer above the USJ, Mako was furiously typing away through the phone, "Come on, come on, come on!" he hissed out as he dialed his dad's phone number. Holding it up to his ear, he heard it ring a few times before the line picked up. "Dad! Dad it's me!"

"Mako? What's-"

"Look I'm at the USJ and there's villains here and we can't get in touch with the school come and-" he began as a massive black shape shot up behind him with it's fist raised up before slamming it down into the back of Mako's head, punching him straight down back towards the USJ!

Crashing down through the roof, the students barely had enough time to rach before Mako crashed into the ground inside a crater, "MAKO!" Izuku cried out before running over to see his friend pick himself up, "Are you ok?!" he asked.

The half viltrumite was a little scuffed up, rubbing the back of his head where he had been struck. "Uuugh, ok. That one really hurt." he admitted as Kirishima and Kaminari rushed over, "I got a call out to my dad, he should be on his way here." he said as Kirishima offered him a hand which he took to stand up. Looking down he frowned when he saw the phone of 13's now in a million little pieces, "Oops, sorry 13." he apologized to the teacher.

She shook her head as she approached, "You got the call out, that's important, hopefully your father will get to the school and give us some back up." she said before a large shape landed behind Mako a few feet away. Turning around, Mako saw the large creature that he batted him back down from the sky.

Mako swallowed at how big it was, raising his arm ups he slid his left side forward and cocked his right arm back, "Awww Shit." he groaned.

AN: Well that's a good place to end it! Let's get some reviews!

Rnji: I mean that's a big part of why he wants to be a superhero. hat and because of his love of comic books.

For'Sleepy: Yeah the world will definitely react to Omni Man's actions, the show didn't get super into it but yeah there's repercussions for Omni Man's rampage.

Messiah of authors: He's a good dude.

Devil Dragon Stand Knight: Melissa has….soemthing in her future.

Superpierce: Thanks!

D3lph0xL0v3r: That's true, but that also in part leads some some interesting choices with the story down the line in the manga. And it does embody what All Might thinks of a hero, self sacrifice. And I'm not saying that Mako will just leave him out on hisown, he'll still help him out.

Guest: Ehhhhh…..no spoilers.

Maelstrom Ressurected: Thanks! I will!

Spoder-Boy: Yeah I just heard about her as I was writing so I just needed to edit it real quick. Also holy shit if you want someone for Omni Man to face? Or any Viltrumite?

Guest 2: Actually that was Al Simmons Spawn! But also keep in mind that Invicible sort of becomes it's own universe after a while. I mean there is no possible way that it's a shared universe with other image comics. Espically after Issue 111.

Luke5921: Thanks!

Viewing Civilian:Ah! I know what your talking about, that actually wasn't the nuke exploding that was the rocket exploding, the warhead didn't go off. As for bakugo's explosions…..ok since you know the comics, there's a reveal with Cecil that explains it.

void is the greatest: Yeah Cecil has a pretty far reach, but it's not like everyone will be mindless drones and do whatever he says.

Awesomerebel55: I saw it more that Cecil would be much more practical with how superheroes worked. I eman from his POV, All Might is wasting his time at UA whenhe should be kept on standby for when things get bad.

Dat-boi-waddup: See I GOT to assume that Bakugo is reisistant to his explosions, I mean he's igniting NAPTALM in his hands and they're somehow not burned to a crisp? And Mako also doesn't want to seriously hurt him, despite him being a jerk.

ankitarya2301: ….

Ben: You sorta see here.

JustAnotherFanboy35: Thanks!

inkjames24: Ok um…I don't know exactly what you mean but they were there for a while, and I mean if everyone around you aged like….100x faster than you? I'm assuming he'd notice, "Hey your not aginging like all the other humans!"

Deepthoughts42: Hmm, I kinda get what you mean but I think it also depends on what they're judging characteristic wise? Like combat wise, Koda probably shouldn't be there, but for search and rescue missions? He'd be pretty valuable to have.
