Hello everyone! And today, our heroes will be heading to the Prehistoric era. Will they find the final mask? Or will they be dinosaur chow?
Eggipus Dimension (88 Million B.C.B)
Jumping out of the rift in a jungle, Bandicoot, Coco, Aku Aku, Lani-Loli, Akano, and Kupuna-Wa quickily noticed something.
Dragnarok and Cortex were nowhere to be seen!
"Dragnarok?! Cortex?!" Coco shouted as she and her brother looks around.
"I sense that they're in this dimension, so it's seems that the rift spat them out in a different area." Lani-Loli said as he looks around.
Coco then takes out a walkie-talkie like device.
"Dragnarok... Come in Dragnarok..." The female bandicoot said as she tunes the dials.
The screen on the device lights up, showing Dragnarok with Cortex standing behind him.
"I hear you loud and clear, Coco." The draconic hero said. "So... Got any plan?"
"I sense our last brother, Ika-Ika, is somewhere near the volcano." Lani-Loli said. "We'll meet up there."
"Sounds like a plan." Dragnarok said before hanging up.
And with that, Bandicoot and the others took off into the jungle.
Going through the jungle and fighting their way passed spike coved dinosaurs and vines that lash out at them, they soon found a long, thin branch to grind along, which led them to a small lava flow.
Avoiding the lava (As well as finding yet another VHS tape) they reach a few waterfalls, where they used Kupuna-Wa's power to pass through more vines lashing out at them.
They quickly found more thin branches.
Grinding along them, our heroes heard a loud roar and loud stomps, but weren't able to find the source.
Pressing on, they soon found a path leading to the volcano.
Bandicoot ran ahead, only to be caught in a snare trap.
Suddenly, jumping out of the nearby bushes were this dimension's Ladybug and Cat Noir.
The Ladybug was wearing tiger-skin clothes that was red with black spots.
The Cat Noir, meanwhile, had the skin of some sort of large black cat hang off him.
"Who are you?!" The Ladybug demanded, pointing a spear at the bandicoots and masks.
"Listen, we not here to harm you..." Coc said slowly, holding her hands in the air. "We're just looking for our friends and a mask."
"Mask? We've seen mask." The Ladybug said.
"Really? Could you take us to it?" Coco asked.
The two looked at each other before looking back at the heroes.
"We help if you help. Redtooth been stomping around. Cause us trouble." The Ladybug said. "Get rid of him, we help you find mask."
"It's a deal then." Coco said. "I'm Coco, and the guy you've caught is my brother, Bandicoot."
Bandicoot waved at them before the Cat Noir cuts him down, causing the orange hero to land on his face.
"Me Cavebug. This Black Sabre." Cavebug introduced themselves, with Black Sabre simply grunting at them.
"Nice to meet you two." Coco said. "Anyway, let's find out friends, they help us take care of this Redtooth."
And with that, they take off.
As this was happen, Dragnarok and Cortex were making their way to the volcano.
"Let's see how these prehistoric predators like my blaster's new settings." Cortex said as he whips out his blaster.
"Just be careful where you point that thing." Dragnarok said.
Suddenly, a giant bug flies at them, only for Cortex to blast it, turning it into a hovering stone block.
"Hahaha! They laughed when I added blockification! Well, who's laughing now? Ahahaha! Me!" Cortex gloated as uses the block to get up a ledge.
As the two made their way through the jungle, Cortex looks at Dragnarok.
"I've been wondering... How did you meet Bandicoot?" He asked the draconic hero.
"Well, Hawk Moth, my version of Sphingidae, akumatized someone into Doctor Multiverse, who had the power to summon things from different dimensions. He ended up summoning Chris, Crash, and Aku Aku by mistake." Dragnarok said. "They helped me and Ladybug and Cat Noir, my version of Spotted Beetle and Cat Marron, beat this guy."
"Well, if this Hawk Moth is anything like Sphingidae, he mostly likely be complaining into that lair of his." Cortex said with a huff. "Honestly, the nerve of that guy, taking my mutation formulas to make his stupid Mutakumas! He could've at least asked!"
The scientist then saw another bug flying at him, which he just blasted, turning it into a block.
This time, instead of stone, the block was made out of a gel-like substance.
"Ooh! Bouncy!" Cortex said as he and Dragnarok uses the gel block to get onto a ledge.
The two soon reached a stone wall that was beside the volcano.
Moving along the wall, the two used the blockifiaction feature on Cortex's blaster to avoid falling into the lava stream.
Reaching the top of the wall, the two saw a path leading to the volcano.
"Ooh, I've never tried a volcano lair!" Cortex said before facing Dragnarok. "Do good guys have volcano lairs?"
"I don't about lairs, but I do think a few Headquarters. None volcano based, though." The draconic hero said with a shrug.
"Hmm, much to learn." Cortex muttered to himself before pressing on.
Using blockifiaction, the two crossed a giant river of lava.
Though, Cortex almost fell in, but Dragnarok was able to save him and place on a ledge.
"Gah! On second thought, no volcano lair! I can feel my nostril hairs sizzling!" Cortex shouted with slight fear. He and Dragnarok then noticed the path leading to a forest of giant mushrooms. "Sheesh, haven't seen mushrooms that big since I left the gigantize-o-tron running overnight."
"So many inventions, yet you use them for world dominion?" Dragnarok asked. "You could be helping humanity a lot with your intellect."
"Like you would understand..." Cortex muttered before moving on, leaving a confused Dragnarok to follow him.
Moving their way through the mushroom forest, the two soon found a pathway.
"This should lead up to the meet up point." Dragnarok said.
Back with Bandicoot and the others...
"Come on, Dragnarok and Cortex should be up ahead." Coco said.
Sliding down some vines, our heroes were spotted by a huge red T-Rex, who roared at them before giving chase.
"Redtooth!" Cavebug shouted as she and Black Sabre gained panicked looks.
Grabbing the bandicoot's wrists, they made a run for it.
"That's Redtooth?!" Coco shouted as she and the others maneuvered around pits, fallen logs, and bones, which Redtooth plowed right through.
"Yep! He's angry as he is hungry!" Cavebug shouted.
They soon passed under a stone archway, which suddenly collapses, blocking Redtooth from getting them.
?!
Letting out a roar of anger, Redtooth stomps off.
"Woo... We lost him." Coco said.
"Redtooth don't give up easily. Once he find meal, he won't stop." Cavebug warned.
"Well, we should be getting close to our meet up point." Aku Aku said.
Pressing on, they crossed a stream of toxic muck before suddenly being chased by a herd of triceratops.
Who themselves were being chased by Redtooth!
"See! Redtooth come back!" Cavebug shouted as the heroes ran.
The triceratops manages to flee into the jungle, but Redtooth's attention was now fully on the heroes.
Maneuvering pass more obstacles, our heroes, jumping along the heads of a few Brachiosaurus, crossed a chasm that was too big for Redtooth to jump over.
With a frustrated roar, the red T-Rex stomps off.
"He doesn't give up, doesn't he?" Coco asked in a tired tone.
"More prey get away, more he want to eat it." Cavebug said, with Black Sabre giving a nod. "Expect him come back."
Moving on, our heroes mad their way passed a river of lava (And find another VHS tape), and into another clearing.
Where Redtooth was waiting to ambush them.
Seeing the red T-Rex jump out from behind the trees, our heroes quickly made a run for it.
The chase soon lead to a bridge made of stone going over a river of lava.
While the bridge was able to take the weight of our heroes, it couldn't take Redtooth's weight, as once he was on it, the bridge collapsed, sending the T-Rex into the fiery depths below.
"Yes! Redtooth is no more!" Cavebug cheered as she and Black Sabre fist-bumped.
Popping out of some nearby bushes was Dragnarok and Cortex.
"There you guys are!" The draconic hero said before spotting the duo. "Oh. I see you've met this dimension's version of Ladybug and Cat Noir."
"Yep. And they'll lead us to our final mask." Coco said.
"As thank for dealing with Redtooth, we happy to help." Cavebug said before leading the way. "Follow me!"
A while later, Cavebug lead them to a hatched egg, where Ika-Ika was sleeping in.
"WAKE UP!" Lani-Loli shouted.
Ika-Ika screams as he jumps awake, accidentally flipping gravity in shock, flipping everyone upside down onto the cave ceiling above.
"Bwah? Goodness, if it isn't Lani-Loli! How are you, brother?" Ika-Ika asked.
Before Lani-Loli could respond...
"Uhhh, sorry to interrupt, but existence could end in any minute so can we hurry?" Coco asked.
Ika-Ika flips upside down, swapping to his downer personality.
"When's existence ever done anything for anyone, anyway?" The downer said with a sigh.
Ika-Ika flips the gravity again, bringing them back down. He switches back to his main personality in the process.
"Oh don't mind grumpy gus, he's always a downer." Ika-Ika said before switching to his downer side. "Yeah, don't mind me. I don't matter. Nothing matters."
"Now that we found Ika-Ika, that's all four! What's next?" Coco asked.
"We can't close the rifts until we stop whatever is opening them." Lani-Loli said.
"That would be N. Tropy and his precious Rift Generator." Cortex said bitterly, making air quotes on Rift Generator.
"Sounds like it's time to kick some N. Tropy butt!" Coco declared.
"Heh-hah!" Bandicoot shouted as he spins and strikes a determined pose.
"I wouldn't be so sure..." A female voice rang out.
Suddenly, a rift opens, and popping out was a metal claw, which snatches Ika-Ika before retreating.
"Ika-Ika!" Lani-Loli shouted as he, the other masks, the bandicoots, Dragnarok, and Cortex jumping in after him.
Cavebug and Black Sabre watched the rift close with worried looks.
"Hope they be okay." Cavebug said, with her partner nodding in agreement.
And that's that!
I want to say this now, as the next chapter will take some time, as it's going to be a original chapter. Dragnarok and his friends are going to a original dimension.
