On the Job Experience

"And your sure you packed everything? Your toothbrush? Your pajamas? Your phone charger?" Inko asked her son as he walked through the living room of their apartment, his best friend Mako was at the table, having arrived to pick his friend up early and give him a literal lift to the school where they would meet the rest of their class up before departing for their individual internships at the nearby transit hub.

Izuku nodded as he picked up the suitcase with his hero costume inside it, "Yes mom, I double checked to make sure." He said with a smile and a roll of his eyes. His mother had nearly fainted when she had learned that her son had helped Mako and Tech Jacket fight off the Kresh Scavengine, and was in what Izuku and Mako would call 'overprotective mode'.

Inko sighed, "I wish the two of you could be on the same internship. At least then I'd know you'd be safe." She said sadly.

Izuku looked over to his friend who was watching the mother and son's echcange with a small smile, he tilted his head to her with a pleading look, silently asking him to try and reassure her. He coughed into his hand, "Well Ms. Midoriya you shouldn't have to worry about him, I mean the person he's interning with actually helped train All Might, so you know he's in good hands." He said assuringly, Izuku's mother visibly calming down at his reassurance.

"Honestly out of the two of us, I think you might actually have the though job here. I still can't believe Miruko reached out to you for an internship." He admitted before crossing his arms over his chest, "Or that you accepted it out of all the offers you got." He added, while Mako's lack of involvement in the Sports Festival didn't get him as many offers as Bakugo or Todoroki, his offers had skyrocketed after the Kresh Invasion attempt. But even still, he remained steadfast with his first decision with Miruko's Hero Agency since it was clear that whatever reason she wanted hm to intern with her wasn't just to boost her popularity.

Mako shrugged his shoulders, "Honestly compared to an alien invasion? Anything is going to be a cakewalk compared to that." He said as he stood up from the chair and pushed it in. "Anyway we better move before we're late. Nice seeing you Ms. Midoriya." He said, walking over and giving the shorter woman a hug which she happily returned.

"You too honey, we'd love to have you and your mother over some time for dinner." She offered warmly as she returned the familial embrace. Mako smiled before walking out of the apartment with Izuku, both of them giving the mother a wave goodbye.

Mako floated up off the ground and picked up his friend from, his arms before flying both of them up into the air towards the school where they would meet up before all going t the train station with Aizawa. "Thanks for the lift Mako, I really apricate it." His friend said honestly as they flew over the city.

Mako shrugged, "No problem, wish you could use your quirk to bounce around town so we could race there." The teen admitted before they both laughed, "I mean your pretty spry for using what? Five percent of your power?" he asked.

Izuku nodded, "Yeah, my theory is that if I keep training with 5% of my power my body will adjust and I'll be able to use more of it soon. Similar to how your powers work." He explained before looking up at his friend curiously, "Can I ask? Do you feel stronger?" he asked curiously.

Mako thought for a moment before nodding, "Yeah I think so, I mean compared to when I fought my dad? Absolutely, I mean I don't think I'm as strong as him yet but between all the supervillain fights and the training I've done on I-Island-" he began before Izuku made a noise, "What was that?" he asked, looking down at his friend who quickly looked away.

"N-Nothing, I didn't say anything." Izuku replied quickly.

"No but you made a noise." Mako noticed.

Izuku looked up at him with the best poker face he could muster, "Did I?" he asked.

Mako scoffed, "Dude I will so drop you if you don't confess." He joked, emphasizing his pint by hoisting his friend up and down as they flew over the city below them.

The green haired inheritor rolled his eyes, "Well it's just that Melissa is there so I don't know how much time you spend there is actually training and how much is just being with your girlfriend." He commented before looking up. The small barb caused Mako's face to flush slightly which Izuku took notice of, "WAIT WHAT?!"

"It's not what you think!" Mako denied as they continued flying. Izuku's face burned bright red an looked down in embarrassment, finding the city beneath them much more interesting and wishing he would just be dropped to his death instead of suffering the secondhand embarrassment. "We're not-we haven't-Look she just watches me train and I'm shirtless and that's all there is….." he admitted, thinking to his last visit when he was using the weightlifting machine and saw that Melissa was watching him with a far off look on her face which she made no attempt to hide.

Looking own at his friend, Mako sighed to himself, "You know you got to find someone yourself." He said, Izuku's face seemed to almost melt from how warm it got, "And don't give me the whole 'I'm nothing special, why would anyone go for me?' thing. You're a good guy man, anyone would be lucky to have you." He said earnestly as he floated down towards the school grounds.

Touching down, Mako landed behind his friend after setting him down, "Seriously, if I can get a girlfriend with how crazy my life is? Then you can as well." He said, patting his friend on the shoulder.

Izuku let out a dry laugh at that statement, I think Complicated is more how I'd dscribe my life. He thought as they walked around the side of the school to the front entrance. "Thanks Mako it's just…..I don't know how to…..well….date." he admitted as they entered the building of the school.

Mako snorted out a laugh, "And you think I do?" he asked as they walked to their shoe lockers, kicking off his shoes, Mako opened the small locker that contained his school shoes and slipped them on. Luckily Midoriya's red shoes were approved to be worn in school buildings and thus didn't need to change them, unlike the sneakers that Mako wore casually. "It's really just hanging out with someone you like, once in a while you do something nice because you want to make their day, and sometimes they do the same thing. Me and Melissa went out on a date around the island a week ago and we had a ton of fun. I mean imagine finding someone other than me who you can talk heroes with?" he offered.

Midoriya rubbed the back of his head as he considered the idea, "That….that sounds kind of nice." He admitted. However there was a hitch in that idea, "I mean you also got to be honest with them right? You got to tell them everything about you?" he asked.

The Viltrmite leaned onto the locker as he slipped his shoes onto his feet, "Yeah that's kind of hard. I mean I tell Melissa all the big stuff, I don't want to keep anything important from her like my dad did with me and my mom. But stuff that I feel embarrassed about or something? That's harder." He admitted.

Izuku became quiet as his friend told him about revealing his comic collection to Melissa, there was one big thing that he couldn't tell anyone. Not even his best friend in the entire world, "Would you….tell her stuff you wouldn't tell me?" he asked. Mako stopped and looked over at his friend, for a second the green haired teen thought he just asked something stupid, but seeing the contemplative expression he had however made those doubts vanish.

"I…I don't know. I mean I trust you man, and I trust her…..I wouldn't keep anything from either of you." He said, making the led ball that Midoriya had in his gut grow three sizes. "But if she had something that she didn't want me to tell anyone else? I wouldn't tell you out of respect for her, and same goes for you." He added to clarify.

Midoriya felt the ball in his gut lighten, though not by much.

After class 1A convinced at their classroom, the class of heroes in training took a bus to the nearby transit hub with their hero costumes in their designated suitcases with their seat numbers printed on the side. Mako waited by the vending machine of the train station with a drink in his hand while Jiro browsed the selection, "So your interning with Death Arms then?" he asked the rocker heroine as she selected a bottled thing of pop from the machine before turning to him.

"Yeah, I was surprised he reached out to me but he was the highest ranked hero, and after looking at his track record I figured it'd be good to get some on the ground experience." She explained as she retrieved her drink from the machine. The pair turned back the way they came with their bags and made their way to the platform where the rest of the class was waiting for all their trains to arrive, "So why are you doing this internship anyway dude? You already got a job with the GDA, why not just work with them for this week?" she asked.

Mako took a sip of his drink before answering, "Well the whole point of these internships is to learn how to be a hero. And while I get some of that working with the GDA, it's not typically what a hero does. I mean if I want to start an agency one day I can't do the same thing that I'm doing now, I got to learn how to do that." He explained as best he could.

Jiro hummed and nodded in understanding as he explained himself, "That makes sense, I mean I don't get why you would ever want to leave the GDA though? I mean they pay you pretty much what a pro makes, and they care of all your stuff that you would need to do at an agency." She reasoned as she reached up and twirled her ear jack around her finger, "But if you wanted to do your own thing later on I'd get it." She reasoned.

"What about you? Got any long term plans?" Mako asked curiously.

The rocker shrugged her shoulders, "Honestly I don't think I'll worry about that until my senior year. I mean we got our internships now, but after that we have our finals for this semester." She reminded him.

Mako's face immediately dropped, "Oh sonofva-I totally forgot!" he exclaimed, running a hand through his hair.

Nearby, Sero chuckled, "I mean can't really blame you with all that's going on, alien invasions and everything." He said as Mako groaned, he had done nothing but study in detention for disobeying Thirteen during their mission back from Mars, so he wasn't completely screwed, however he was not at all looking forward to having to study for a large test after they finished their internships.

The hero in training groaned to himself, "I should have let the Kresh wreck the school. Least then we'd have a while off." He whined.

"And what good would that have done?" Mako winced at the sound of his professoer's voice, looking over his shoulder he saw Aizawa giving him a look, "Don't forget that partaking in the mission and disobeying Thirteen was your choice Mako, if you think that you can simply get away with that because things turned out in our favor, you need to re-evaluate your choices." He scolded.

Mako's shoulders slumped, "Yes sir." He replied obediently as the rest of the class gathered. As one by one the students lined up in front of their teacher, Mako's eyes drifted over to Iida, the class rep standing tall as usual, however the usual stiffness that his pose held was nowhere to be seen. Over the past few days he had noticed that his friend had been somewhat quiet, his usual reprimands for minute had gone down in frequency and intensity and instead seemed to be focusing on something else that he wouldn't share.

The viltrumites glanced over to Izuku and Uraraka, whom shared a knowing look with him between their friend. Ever since his older brother was hospitalized by Stain, Iida had been acting differently. But like with Todoroki, he didn't know exactly what to say to him, My problems aren't the same as Iida's, but I know that it helps to talk it out. But I can't just force him to it, but I should offer to hear him out at least. He thought as Aizawa dismissed the class to board their respective trains to go to their internships.

As Iida walked off towards his train, a trio of footsteps behind him alerted him to his friend's presence. "Hey Iida?" Mako spoke up from behind him. The class rep turned and saw the concerned faces of his friends, Mako stepped forward and put a hand on his shoulder, "Look, we just wanted to say we know you've been going through a rough time with what happened with your brother, and…..if you need anything? Even to just talk? We're here for you." He offered kindly.

The glasses wearing teen blinked in surprise at the sudden proclamation as Izuku stepped forward, "He's right, we're here for you Iida, we're your friends and we don't want you to feel alone." He added.

Uraraka nodded in agreement with her fists raised, "We've been trying to tell you this but every time we do, you've kind of brushed us off or changed the subject and…..we just wanted to tell you that." She explained.

The class representative's expression shifted to one of guilt, "I…" he bowed t the three of them, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I've pushed you all away, and I'm grateful that you all care enough to offer your assistance." He said before standing up with a dreaded look, "I mean! I believe that you all care, always! I simply meant I apricate that you've all come to me like this!" he quickly corrected upon realizing how that might have come across.

For a moment, a brief moment, the group of friends felt like nothing had changed, however as quickly as the feeling washed over them, it vanished with Iida's expression became somber, "But…..I'm fine. If I feel that I need to talk to someone to confide in, I'll reach out to you all….thank you." He said before turning away and walking off from his friends.

As their friend left them, Mako sighed, "Well we tried, wish that we did more but I think that's all we can really do." He said, turning back to Uraraka and Izuku who both seemed to not be completely satisfied with how their friend responded.

"I wish there was more we could have done." Uraraka said sadly, looking downward at the ground.

The half alien sighed, "I know, but when I asked Midnight what I should do, she told me that we can't just confront him on it, we have to just be there for him when he's ready for us." Mako said before turning back to his other friends with a small smile. "So I guess I'll see you guys in a week….again. I'll try not to start an alien invasion while I'm gone this time." He joked lightly.

Uraraka and Izuku shared a chuckle at the lighthearted joke, he looked over to the brown haired gravity user, "Still can't believe your going to a martial artist of all people to intern with." He said. Ochako proudly told them that she was going to intern with Gunhead, the Martial Artist hero, everyone was somewhat surprised until she explained that her match with Bakugo had been an eye opening experience.

The gravity user grinned to herself as she raised a fist, "I can't leave it to you guys to do all the heavy lifting when villains show up! And besides…" she continued with a more contemplative look, "If the whole USJ thing taught us anything, it's that sometimes we gotta fight to do our jobs to save people." She reasoned. She looked up between Mako and Deku, the two best friends who had faced down way bigger and stronger villains and fought hard to save everyone.

While she admired and respected Rescue Heroes like Thirteen, it was clear to her that she couldn't just wait on the sidelines and let others do the fighting. She needed to learn how to fight as well. Mako smirked at her, "And admittedly punching guys in the face is fun." He said.

Uraraka's head tilted, "Really?" she asked.

"Oh yeah. I mean that could just be the viltrumite in me or something but there's just something satisfying about clocking a guy whose being a jerk." He explained before looking at Izuku, "Back me up on this. It's nice right?" he asked.

Izuku rubbed the back of his head and his cheeks flushed a little, "I mean…punching the robot in the fact wasn't too bad. But I didn't really like hitting Todoroki." He added dourly.

Mako waved his hand dismissively at the example of their classmate, "That's different, he was going through some stuff, but a bad guy? An actual bad guy like those Lizard League losers? Or some goon or whatever? Really satisfying." Mako clarified.

Urarka hummed, "Huh. Guess I'll have to take your word for it until I get a chance to try it myself." She said before shaking her head, "Oh man! I gotta go, I'll see you Mako!" she said, reaching down to grab her suitcase. She turned to Izuku and smiled, "Bye Deku!" she said before rushing off to her train.

As she left the two close friends, Mako slyly smirked at the notice that she directly said goodbye to Izuku, Hmmm….maybe he doesn't need to go look to far for someone interested in him? he mused to himself before shaking his head. "I should get going too, see you man." he said, holding his hand up, which Izuku clasped and pulled each other into a one-armed hug. "Please survive All Might's teacher." He said, recalling how Izuku described the symbol of peace's reaction to hearing from this Gran Torino.

Izuku shook in fear briefly before nodding his head, "R-Right…." he said before his shoulders slumped at that reminder.

After seeing his friends off on their trains, Mako took off into the sky and flew over the city beneath him, cutting through the sky in a blur as he followed the directions n his phone that led to where Miruko's office was. 'Take a left-RECALCULATING-go past this light- recalculating-" his phone kept announcing as he flew over the streets, a slightly irritated expression crossing his features. Someone would assume that with all the quirks in the world, there would be a navigation application that would apply t superheroes who could fly, but if there was it wasn't available to the public.

As he continued flying, the sound of a crash made him look down to see a large semi truck with a large tanker on the back driving down the sidewalk towards a large crowd of people! "Oh my god" he exclaimed before shooting down through the air, shedding his clothes and unveiling his costume beneath his school uniform which he stuffed into his backpack which he threw around his shoulder as he flew past the truck towards the people ahead. Can't just slam into the truck since I don't know what's in it , could case an explosion and hurt and kill even more people! He thought as he acted fast and grabbed a few people as the crowd began to turn and run the other way.

He darted between the crowd of people, scooping them up in his arms and flying them across the street to the other side, back and forth as the truck continued barreling down the sidewalk! Dropping down another person on the side of the road , he ooked back over his shoulder and saw one last person, and elderly woman who was carrying an smaller girl in her arms that was only a few meters away from the truck!

"Crap!" Invincible exclaimed before shooting across the road right in front of the truck's cab holding his hands out and let the truck hit him, letting the truck carry him back he pushed back against it with the force of his strength at a steady rate. Come on! Come on! Slow down! He thought as he heard the tires peeling against the pavement.

Suddenly something smashed down onto the hood of the truck, knocking Invincible back and the impact causing the back wheels of the tanker to lift up before slamming back down. Invincible looked up from the ground to see a compact body couching atop the wrecked hood, "Well, well look at you! Not even here for a minute and your already working hard!"

Standing up atop the hoo of the truck was the Rabbit Hero, Miruko. The dark skinned heroine wore a mostly white one piece costum that covered her like a swimsuit would, with a blue outline around the arms and pelvis, a golden crescent symbol was across her chest. Around her neck was a fluffy white collar that matched her hair and Rabbit ears that twitched excitedly atop her head. She also woe a pair of blue stockings that went down to her feet that wore iron mounted pads around them in the shape of an rabbit's foot.

The Rabbit hero hopped off the hood and landed inf ront of Mako as he got up from the ground…..and found she was shorter than him. Huh…..you know I never realized I never saw a picture of her with someone my height before…..is….is Izuku taller than her? He thought upon doing a quick double take at the smirking heroine. "Um, actually I was on my way to your office when I saw this happening." He admitted, rubbing the back of his head as Miruko turned to the truck with her gloved hands on her hips.

"Yeah some jackass decided to try and steal a bunch of tankers of gasoline, figured it'd be cheaper than actually buying it themselves." She said, looking into the cab of the truck to see the driver was unconscious with his head having dented the steering wheel.

Mako blinked, "That…..actually makes some sense?" he admitted.

Miruko turned on her heel and grinned at him, her red eyes locking with his, "Anyway, I hope you appreciate this opportunity kid! I don't take on sidekicks or interns because they slow me down. But you?" she began, pointing at him, "I'm thinking you might be able to keep up." She said before turning and taking off into he air with a large leap!

Invincible took off after her as she landed on the rooftops, hopping from one to the next with the ease of her namesake, "Well wait a sec! I got questions!" Mako called out.

"Talk and fly runt! There's a break in three blocks away!" she called over to him before leaping high up into the air at speeds that approached how fast All Might could go.

The two arrived at the scene within a minute, the three masked men who had broken down a wall to get inside an electronic store turned to see the two heroes. Before they had a chance to respond, Miruko's foot slammed into one of their faces with a leaping kick while Invincible palmed the other in the chest.

The third's arm became metallic before rushing over and punching invincible in the face, "GAHH!" the thief yelled as he held his now broken, metal hand.

Invincible winced on his behalf, "Oooh. Sorry dude, would have rolled with that if I saw it coming." He admitted sheepishly before backhanding him into unconsciousness.

Miruko tossed the one she had knocked out ontop of him, "Alright then! Onto the next one!" she proclaimed before taking off once again.

Mako looked between her and the thugs they had taken down, "But don't we have to-?" he began before seeing she was already gone. "Shit!" he cursed before takingoff into the air, scanning the area around him he saw the heroine boucing across the city towards the South. He darted after her and once he managed to catch up to her he flew in front of her, "Ok hold up! Time out! What are we doing?!" he asked as she slid to a stop on the roof.

She rolled her eyes at him, "We're fighting crime runt, what do you expect?" she asked sarcastically.

Invincible shook his head, "I mean….shouldn't you tell me what it is we're doing? And why and…..all that?" he asked unsurely.

Miruko sighed in annoyance, "Right, right, yeah good point." She accepted, realizing that she really had just jumped into her routine without really explaining anything to him. "Alright so today is a patrol day, meaning I go around the area I'm in and search for crimes in progress to foil." She explained before reaching into a compartment on her belt, pulling out a small device that looked like a rabbit's foot, "When I stop someone from doing something dumb I drop one of these so the police know where to pick them up. They send the paperwork to my office and I take care of that at the end of the week." She explained.

Invincible nodded, "Ok, following you so far. But how do you know when there's something that needs your attention?" he asked. Miruko blinked at him owlishly before gesturing to her rabbit ears. "…..seriously?" he asked.

"Hey I can hear like a mile out with these things! And crime isn't exactly quiet." She replied.

Invincible floated down to the roof and nodded, "Ok that makes sense I guess but…..look there's something I've actually been meaning to ask you." He said in a serious tone. Miruko blinked but crossed her arms as she listened, a somewhat impatient look crossing her features. "You reached out to me for this internship, and like you said you've never taken sidekicks, or done team ups, or anything, but I'm the first guy you've ever made an offer to….why?" he asked.

The White haired woman blinked before smirking, "Oh that's all you wanted to know?" she asked with a laugh, "Man I was worried it was going to be something weird like if my tail was real or something." She explained happily. Shaking her head and brushing her humor aside, a fierce grin crossed her lips as she looked at him. "I made an offer to you because you kid? You got guts." She said plainly.

Invincible tilted his head in confusion, "Um….thank you?"

Rumi rolled her eyes, "You don't know what I'm referring to do you?" she asked knowingly. Mako shrugged his shoulders, "Your old man kid." She said bluntly. The young viltrumite's stance shifted to a more guarded one, "You we're outmatched, outclassed, and outgunned in that fight. But you didn't give up, not for a single second, you kept fighting even when you couldn't move anymore." She said, leaning forward and poking him in the chest with her finger.

"But…..I didn't exactly win." He admitted.

"Who the hell cares?" his head snapped up to face her, she had a stern expression, "I saw this snot nosed kid put his foot down and fought like I've never seen other pro heroes do before! And when I heard you weren't the School Festival and were doing work with the fricking GDA? I knew you weren't like everyone else." She said, her ferousious grin returning. "But when I did see footage of ya in action, I was a little concerned." She said, leaning back and walking across the roof. "For starters, you can't fight."

Mako blinked, "Um, excuse me? Who saved the world from an alien invasion last week?"

"And who got their ass captured by aliens?" she shot back with a smirk. Mako opened his mouth and raised a finger….but dropped it when he didn't have anything to reply back with. "You got the basics down, and working with the GDA is great experience, and ultimately that'll give you what you need. But you got other problems, case in point, you're a short fuse."

Mako felt his face warm up, "Excuse me?" he squeaked out.

Miruko slammed her fist into her palm, "You got no stamina! Your fine when you have short and sweet skirmishes, but when your in a all in, drag out fight? Your stamina isn't going to last. You can knock a guy out with a punch sure, but if you can't hit him and he just waits for you to exhaust yourself? He can get away from you much easier, or worse yet, overpower you if he's strong enough." She reasoned.

The viltrumites blinked as he took in her observation and found….she was completely right, when he went to fight Muller Twins and their replicants from other universes, he got overwlemed in part to how he was used to more simple fights, and Kresh were the same way. He was tired by the time he had been captured due to the fighting he had done! "I….I never realized that." He admitted.

"I had the same problem, took me a while to realize that I needed to build up my own endurance so that when the big fights come, I wouldn't be taken out." She said, pointing a thumb at herself before pointing at him once again with an almost wild grin. "Which is why this week you have with me? We're going to be on a non-stop hero marathon! Any emgency, we go and stop it, any trouble? We don't stop until you can't float off the ground anymore!" she said almost manically.

Mako swallowed, "Oh….."

"Damn right 'Oh'! Now come on! We got a high speed pursuit!" she said before leaping off, Invincible nodding to himself before taking off after her.

"Why do I feel like I've made some sort of mistake?" he asked himself as his arms reached out in front of him as he flew after Miruko.

Meanwhile In King County Georgia.

In the green field outside a small farmstead, a newly made sign stood out by the driveway, on the sign was a caricature of the Nomu that had come crashing down in the sky two months ago with the words, 'Come and see the Alien from beyond the stars! $5 admission fee for adults, seniors, and children under 12 are free!' in all caps for any passersby on the road to see. The barn had since been repaired from the damage, mostly from the money earned b tourists, "Another day, 'nother flock of customers. Hehe!" Tony chuckled to himself as he walked towards the barn with a bucket of bubble wrap he had gotten for his attraction. ET, Tony called him ET because he felt calling it a 'thing' was rude, didn't really eat anything but it seemed to like grabbing and crushing it in his hands and hearing all the pops it made.

He had offered it food, water, anything to eat really, but much to his surprise and confusion it never wanted for anything. Not that he was complaining, it saved him a ton of money. Feeding something that weighed a few tons would burn a hole in his wallet faster than red hot dime.

As he walked to his barn however, he jumped when a swirling black vortex opened in front of him, making him fall and stumble back, "Wh-What the hell?!" he barked out as the smoke formed a humanoid shape with regular clothing. "Hey! What do you think your doing! I don't open until 11 so-GAHH!" he exclaimed as a portal opened up underneath his feet and he fell through.

And that was how the farmer Tony ended up in a lake three miles away.

Kurogiri turned his glowing yellow eyes to the barn and pushed open the doors to reveal the large Nomu in the center of the barn with a large dog bed underneath him for him to sit on with popped bubble wrap on the floor around him. "…..I don't know what I expected to find when we heard that you landed in this part of the world, but I can say we didn't expect this. Come now." Kurogiri ordered, the large Nomu, for the first time in two mots, stood up and walked over to Kurogiri as a large black portal swirled to life behind him, the two walking through it and leaving the small farmstead behind.

AN: Hey everyone! I am still alive and well, but I have a big announcement.

I moved!

It wasn't extrereme or anything like across the world, but it was nonetheless a hassle to move with my family to a new house…..with no wifi….or cell service…for a few weeks.

But after some time we got everything set up and I'm back to posting! So then, let's take a look at some reviews that came out.

Jutsus80: Glad you like the story, yes I have seen the Death Battle and honestly it's no surprise who won it. And while I know the Boys TV is popular, the comics are….not my cup of tea. Garth Ennis is kind of a mixed bag for me, I loved his work on Preacher and Punisher but he's kind of mean spirited towards superheroes and that's not what I'm about. I've only read the comic that the show is based on so that kind of informed me of what the show would be and I wasn't really interested in it tbh.

Fanfictioner8: It's fine, but I mean they are adding Shinso to one of the hero classes in the manga, and that's not going to cause an uproar or anything, they just decided to add a student. As for Zack joining UA….who cares? He's part of the story now.

Guest1: Ok look, I don't have a pre-determined shecdule for when chapters come out or anything, they come out when they come out. I can't really tell you anything more than that unfortunately. This one took a while because of my move to a new house, as well as other stuff in my life taking more of a priority.

KaijuEmperor: RIGHT?! "You can't use your quirk unless you have a license to do so?" "What if I'm getting the shit kicked out of me" "DID I STUTTER?!" Seriously it's why I liked the Vigilante Fanfics for MHA. Screw the rules, do the right thing…..this in no way encourages people to break laws.

And yeah that's kind of the point with Melissa and Miruko, I thought that with this world full of so many superheroes and heroines? Well look at the world we live in and how high people's standards are for beauty, in a world with superheroes (who are mostly just insanely attractive) that's going to be an even higher bar. And someone like Melissa whose quirkless might feel like she's lacking then.

Guest 2: Yeah I was kind of wavering there for a minute, I thought of having Koichi from the Vigilante Manga send the offer, early on I thought of having someone from invincible do it, but I felt like that wouldn't take advantage of the crossover so I did this instead.

For'Sleep 3rd: I've said this before but for those unaware, the show kind of exaggerates how fast Nolan and Mark are? In he comics we never see them go THAT fast, and even later on in the series finale, it takes Nolan a while to fly towards Mark and Eve despite the fight in the Flaxan Dimesion showing that much speed he had.

I mean Mark and Nolan are quick, but they're not like superman fast where they can like, catch a bullet. It's just a way for the show to well…..show, how much trouble the Earth is in.

Guest 3: I don't think so, and…..avoiding Major spoilers, Mark gets stronger due to him being a superhero, he constantly is getting stronger by 'working out' by fighting bad guys. It's how he manages to surpass other viltrumites at points in the series, because they don't do that.

Angel Iara451: I mean Invincible never really gets trained in anything like that? He gets better at fighting through experience like Spider-Man does.
