Chapter 931: The demons from where?

(The Royal fortress.)

The large slow moving battle platform is somewhere near Tonga, and have been providing some research onto the volcano nearby and they can feel that an eruption would be inbound, and they need someone to keep that at bay, and that someone is already doing it, Lori Volcana.

Lori Volcana is already checking on the eruptions that would occur, and so she dives into the water to check on what is lurking within the waters and see what is to come from this volcano. Thankfully, she seems to have knowledge when it comes to volcanic disasters and measurements.

But we're going to head into the main hangar bay where they usually use as one of the repair stations for their large aircraft, but at the moment this is where they have contained the demons they have taken down.

The Murder Monkey's – All locked inside of different cages, and separated from each other, and they are covered in meat and bananas and shriek to be released from their prison.

Agatha – trapped inside of a psionic barrier dome and she is sitting down and playing with a dollhouse that looks like a school and she is stabbing every doll she has played with.

Lucky the Rabbit – Inside of a steel room with cell bars, with a bed and he is also playing the harmonica and for some reason writing down the number of hours being stuck here.

The folks looking at these contained demons are: Martin, Victor, Jack Cyber, Boomer, Lincoln, Linka, Luna, Sam, Jordan, Marcy, Leni, Neil, Leon, Sergei, Gwen, Carol, Dana, Becky, Peter Sharp and Loona. They all keep watch over them, and how do they know they are demons?

Loona goes over and she sniffs the area. "Demonic smell, but darker and much more into the nightmarish level. Something that doesn't seem to be around Pride Ring, but someplace darker."

"And that is something we do not need to know, but we do need to know on who the hell are these maniac demons" said Linka.

"Let me tell ya something, little girl. We're demons, and we ain't from no ordinary world, and it would be nice if my pals were here too, the joy-joy gang" replied Lucky the Rabbit as he sits up from his bed and he looks towards them.

They all didn't like this rabbit, mostly Boomer. But then Lincoln asks. "Alright, rabbit man. Who the hell are you freaks?"

"Don't tell them anything!" Agatha rips one of the dolls in half and then she smashes the dollhouse. "Daddy won't like it. We have to make daddy happy, and then daddy will get us what we want! Don't tell these cheaters anything!" She then tries to break the barrier, but she gets shocked and falls to the ground. "Ouch, that felt fun."

Lucky the Rabbit snickers at what had happened to Agatha, and then he looks to the others. "The name's Lucky the Rabbit, and that freak show with the temper is Agatha and those freaks over there are the Murder Monkey's."

"Heh, makes sense why that's the name of those demon freaks" replied J. "So, who the heck sent you and why come to our world, Lucky?"

The demon in the rabbit suit crosses his arms. "Alright, alright. So, the deal is... We were just doing what we do for our demon boss or whoever the hell to fuck his name was again, I can't even remember. Then for some weird reason, this dark energy sends us to a place that wasn't even a part of the world from where we came from, and bang little boys and girls... That's the whole story, applause."

They all didn't know if this even made any sense, and then Gwen asks. "So, who the heck is your boss?"

Lucky the Rabbit is about to speak, but then Agatha tries to attack the barrier again. "No, don't tell them nothing! These people are cheaters, they didn't even let me have fun with them! Those toys were gonna be..." Then the barrier dome shocks her some more, and she falls to the ground and laughs evilly.

Lucky the Rabbit then speaks. "Alright, fine. But I want something in return."

They didn't know what to make of this. "Alrighty then, what the hell do you want?" asked Peter Sharp.

Lucky the Rabbit snickers. "First, I wanna know what the heck is wrong with that moron a day ago, because he survived and didn't die. How come?"

Boomer then explains. "I can't die, and I am a walking nuclear bomb. I can take the hits, but I can feel the pain... And it hurt, nice punches too rabbit costumed dude."

Lucky the Rabbit chuckles. "Hell yeah, weird green-haired guy. Alright, the second thing I want... I wanna be sent back to my world when this is over. I miss my pals, and beating up some sad and pathetic soul going through our world for us to make minced meat out of them."

Martin speaks. "We can try and find your world, now tell us who the hell the demonic boss you work for is."

Lucky the Rabbit then speaks. "His name is Malak and..." Then a dark and fiery portal opens and they see Gyro come out, and he has injuries, bruises, cuts and he is bleeding and he looks ticked off and half-traumatized. "Huh, looks like someone came from our world..."

Gyro sees the contained demons. "Shit, I found them!"

A voice from the portal sounding like a strict lady called out. "Send them through, now! They do not belong there!" Gyro spins his staff and then his eyes glow blue and then fiery yellow and then he smites the ground with his staff, and the demonic beings are being warpped back to their world, the Murder monkey's shriek in panic, Agatha laughs evilly, and so does Lucky the Rabbit.

Agatha. "Daddy, I am coming home!"

Lucky the Rabbit. "That's all folks!"

The demonic beings are off, and then Gyro looks to the portal. "Handle Malak this time, because if this madness happens again... Then I can't trust you to do this ever again!"

The strict female voice in the portal speaks. "Calm yourself, Gyro. You deal with your world and I shall deal with mine and much appreciated for coming to our world and helping."

"Whatever." Gyro then closes the portal, he then looks to the others who are confused. "I need some coffee and also some tending to this blasted injuries, now! I'll tell you all afterwards."

(Later in the day.)

Gyro sighs and then he drinks his coffee and he has a lot of bandages all over him, and his injuries are slowly healing from what he had gone through, and the others don't even know what the hell is going on. Then he sees the others look to him confused. "I have a lot to explain, don't I?"

Marcy speaks. "Yeah, pretty much. I mean, you just came back and send those demons back to wherever they came from. How come and what's the rush?"

Boomer then asks. "Dude, why the hell were you covered in bruises and a lot of injuries?"

Leni asks. "Who the heck was the lady voice in the portal that you came out of?"

Lincoln asks. "Guardian, where the hell have you been lately, also who the hell is Malak?"

Gyro sighs and so he tells them what they need to know. "First, I needed to send those demons back home because they do not belong here, and they were missing after a battle I had in the world they came from, a battle with an old enemy, and that is the sole reason why I needed to rush those demons back or else things would turn bad real fast."

"The battle I had was a very brutal one, and also with an old foe whom I thought I wouldn't have to fight ever again, and the one who I trusted to try and take him down was the very same one who was voiced as a lady through that portal I came from and her name is Bierce, and the enemy I have been fighting, is Malak."

Malak.
Malak, also known as Lord Malak, is a malevolent and powerful demon and the main antagonist of Dark Deception. He is ruler of each of the nightmares, and the one who is in charge of those demonic bosses whom which are encountered.

In his humanoid form, Malak very closely resembles a human of a slim, tall build. He is always seen dressed in formal attire, wearing a black business tuxedo with a red tie, slim black undershirt, long striped trousers, and polished shoes. His hands both have three sharp claws for fingers, with black skin. His head resembles that of a typical demon, with red skin, hollowed-out eyes, jagged teeth, pointed ears, and curved horns.

In his phantom form, Malak dons a large black cloak with torn edges and long sleeves. His lower body is also absent, ending at his overcoat. He now possesses more dark and jagged skin, glowing orange eyes and mouth, and slim, cone-shaped horns. His hands also now have four fingers instead of three.

Malak is a rather enigmatic figure, with a personal vendetta against Doug Houser, and has a negative relationship with Bierce. He mainly wants to stop Doug for helping Bierce, which he knows could weaken his power by losing the souls he has trapped in the realms. He also appears to advise Doug from helping and trusting Bierce, implying that she has different motives. However, despite this, he seems to care little for the Doug's wellbeing as he doesn't hesitate to hunt him down when he has stolen a ring piece. Additionally, he claims to take great pleasure in watching him suffer.

Bierce.
Helen Bierce, She is the person who appoints Doug Houser to collect the pieces of the Riddle of Heaven, and had a history with Malak. Bierce is shown to be a snarky, mindful, and very bored individual, often commentating on anything and anyone the moment something catches her attention. Whether it's her own allies or enemies, she's very quick to think of something at the current moment, especially if someone does something she doesn't like or doesn't appeal to her liking. Due to spending years semi-isolated from life, she gets impatient very easily, and she's more than willing to express that frustration to Doug if he gets even remotely distracted from his duties, even going so far as to mock him excessively if it means motivating him or just for the sake of it. Even if things seemingly go right, she sometimes comes off as arrogant, either in her own abilities or Doug's actions to some extent. This also extends to her viewing any visitors she comes across as possible

Outside her sheer amount of apathy, she comes across as pretty aware and informative. Throughout the game, she's willing to give Doug hints on using his powers or whatever information she can discern from the current situation, or on occasion just simply comment on her life. Due to being pretty much her only chance at furthering her goals, she still shows some care for anyone who still trusts her. In Doug's case, she goes so far as to help him out of certain obstacles and, over time, outright shows care for his situation. However, how much of this is really genuine is unknown at this point, and both Malak and some of his lackeys point out that she's manipulating him (which, to an extent, is true).

Bierce's past and current personality is expanded on in her diaries. Throughout her diaries, Bierce is shown to be extremely arrogant and cold-hearted towards others, often viewing most people as nothing but stepping stools to her own personal gain, including her own husband, whom she married only for wealth. This soon develops into downright psychopathy, as she goes so far as to killing a young girl to help contact Malak. She even goes so far as to try backing out of Malak's deal by using the Riddle of Heaven against him, and even afterwards she chooses to stay in the middle of nowhere rather than give him her soul, showing her off as petty under the right circumstances.

Bierce is a tall woman with a slightly tanned skin tone. She has white hair that appears to 'float' to the right side of her head, teal eyes framed by dark eyeshadow and black lipstick. She wears a long-sleeved form-fitting black dress that exposes her torso and abdomen, though part of this exposure is divided by a single round gem holding parts of the dress together. A necklace with three of these different forms of soul shards also connects the side of her dress just below the neck. She wears two of these jewels as earrings as well. She has red nails and dark eyeliner.

They all didn't know what else to say, and then Sam asks. "Wait, so what the heck were you doing back in their world?"

Gyro sighs. "Apparently something went awry and Malak was trying to tap into a new form of power which would lead him to the rest of the realms. I was called there to try and slow his progress, but instead I ended up battling him again and believe me... When we fight, we fight like hell and we both don't hold back and unleash whatever power we have, apparently... Malak doesn't know that I have gotten stronger and holding back my own damned powers... Didn't think I would use them all to fight that bastard again."

All of them are surprised by this, and didn't think there would be a dangerous demonic threat, one who could've gone to their world and spread nightmares, and then Luna Frost asks. "Dude, Gyro... Did you beat him?"

"Yeah, apparently." Gyro then eats a donut. "Slowed down his progress, and took away a dangerous relic that ended up in their world. A book, one that has some components to opening the infinite corridor, apparently sending the murder monkeys, Agatha and Lucky the Rabbit were a testing run for him to try and come here."

"After I clashed with Malak, I had to use this book and send his nightmarish essence away from the infinite corridor and I managed to fix that problem and Bierce told me she can handle Malak now, now that he is weakened and made into less of a problem for the rest of the realms and for her. Things are gonna turn out well, and I wonder who the next helpless soul will be chosen by Bierce."

Gyro then gets up. "Well, I need to go and rest. See you all when I feel like slowly less dying." He then walks away from the others, and at the same time Lori walks into the place.

"Hey guys, I literally just stopped... Gyro, what the heck?" The guardian walks by her and then Lori looks to the others. "What the heck did I miss?"

To be continued in the next chapter.

A/N: So, now they know where they came from, but how the hell do they deal with this new problem from which is called "Dark Deception"? Will they encounter Malak once day? No idea. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
