Spells and Louds.
Chapter 935: Skateboards and school issues.
(April 2. Great Lakes City Skate Park.)
We now see a big event going down and that event is a skate boarding competition and a lot of the folks, Faunus and Pokémon are here to watch this go down, but the rules state that Pokémon cannot compete or else that would be cheating.
We see the teams are locked and loaded. The team of Carlos X, which are Ronnie Anne, Sid, Nikki, Sameer, Casey and Laird, and we have a team made up with their coach, Tony Hawk. As in the actual legendry skate boarder with the awesome moves to say that he is wicked awesome! Tony Hawk!
Among the folks watching, are Lincoln, Linka, Jordan, Stella, Kick, Gunther, Scarlet, Marcy, Simon and Sam Sharp. They are watching over the Pokémon from the Carlos X team, and Simon asks. "Wait, how come they can't just make a skate boarding contest that could include Pokémon?"
Linka then looks towards Simon. "Dude, how many locations in our world has Pokémon?"
Simon then recalls that one. "Oh, right. Fair point, and it wouldn't be fair to make one just because Royal Woods and Great Lakes City are the only ones with Pokémon. I guess that makes sense."
They then see that the team from Carlos is preparing, and it seems like he is talking to them about something and then they see how calm and chill Tony Hawk is talking with his team. Jordan is confused. "Something doesn't seem right about this."
Lincoln also agrees. "No kidding, and from what Ronnie Anne told me, seems like her uncle Carlos is having this weird problem trying to say the name of Tony Hawk."
Kick scoffs. "What's his beef? What, were they classmates once?" He then smirks. "I know that Santiago's uncle is a great skate boarder and all, but Tony Hawk is the OG and he is dang good at what he does best, being a skate boarding professional."
Simon also agrees. "No kidding, Kick. Heck, I have been watching his tricks and moves long back then, and that was when I was still..." He then remains silent, and Sam sighs and she knows what her brother means, back when they were young together and before Simon and his mom died.
Stella then holds Simon's hand and Lincoln can tell this got awkward real fast.
As they watch this about to go down, Marcy sees Carl is with them watching and he is with the kid with the tuba, named Alexis. "What's going on with you guys and what's wrong Alexis?"
Alexis sighs. "Sorry guys, but recently I have been picked on by some kids at school and they always stuff some random things into my tuba and I don't like it. They never leave me alone, and it's so mean."
This confuses them and then Stella asks. "Wait, what? But I thought the anti-bullying law was already implemented into Chavez academy and other schools here in Great Lakes City. What gives?"
Alexis sighs. "I don't know guys, I just... Carl here said he is gonna help me make sure that they don't pick on me again."
They then look towards Carl. "Guys, calm down, I got this. Soon, those bullied won't be picking on Alexis when I am done with them. Now, let's focus on this whole competition and watch my dad's team win this thing."
They all didn't like this idea of Carl trying to help someone with some bullies causing trouble and they know that he is trying to become like his superhero el Falcon. They then watch as the competition begins, the skate board team contest against Team Hawk against Team Carlos X.
The whole thing begins with the referee has the coin, and then he asks the competitors led by Tony Hawk. He picks tails and the coin is tossed and it does land on tails and it means Team Hawk is the first one to make the move and they prepare to see how awesome this is gonna be.
(Skate boarding contest montage.)
First, Team Hawk goes for the criss cross, and then team x does the same as it is performed by Ronnie Anne and Sid, but they do a K-pop dance as they do so.
Second, team Hawk does the pyramid grinder, but when Team X does it, they do it in reverse. They're version has Nikki at the bottom and she is carrying Sameer and Casey.
(Moments later.)
After so many tricks and other wicked moves, we see them ready for the final round and Linka is confused. "Why the heck are team Carlos X doing almost the same moves, but improved/"
Kick also noticed this. "Something doesn't smell right here, and it seems like this trails all the way towards a Casagrande."
Carl scoffs. "As if my dad had anything to... What the heck is wrong with Laird?"
They see that laird looks a whole lot different. "Huh, did Laird have a growth spurge or something?" asked Gunther.
Scarlet is confused. "No clue dude, but he kinda looks like a grownup dressed as Laird." They watch as this Laird look alike performs something better than the Triple Ghost Helicopter trick from team Hawk. He performs a Quadruple Ghost Helicopter Trick.
But someone saw through this lie and that someone is Kick and he has his skateboard and he races over there and he stops the Laird look alike. "Hold it right there, Faker!" the grown man disguised as Laird then stops and then Kick looks to everyone. "Folks, this is not a kid or even a teenager."
Kick then removes the disguise, and they see that it's none other than Carlos Casagrande and everyone is surprised to see this. Kick sighs. "Dude, this is cheating and I can tell that this whole thing has been an act of revenge against the great skate boarding pro, Tony Hawk."
The referee then goes over and calls out. "Team X has been disqualified, and so the winners are Team Hawk!"
Tony Hawk goes over and he lets his own team take the trophy and then he goes over and he speaks with Carlos about what he just did. "Alright, Carlos. What the heck was that all about? I mean, you just cheated and now your team didn't win, also copying our moves to make them better? Not cool, dude."
Carlos didn't seem pleased. "Well this is my revenge for what you did to me?"
Tony Hawk is so confused. "Wait what? What the heck are you talking about, Carlos?"
"Oh you know exactly what you did, don't play dumb with me, Tony Hawk!" said Carlos. "You costed me the whole contest back then and I failed and got hurt, and all because of you!"
Tony Hawk is confused. "Wait, that's what this is all about? Carlos, I was gonna give you a high five for good luck."
Carlos didn't seem to believe the whole thing. "An unlikely story, and that is the last time I ever trust Sergio to spy on someone who is responsible for ruining my dreams!"
"Rawrk, don't blame me!" said Sergio, but then Stella takes the camera. "Hey!"
She then goes through the video. "I had this theory and if I am right, here we go!" She then shows them the footage and they watch the scenario from long ago when Carlos and Tony Hawk were young and they see that it is true. Tony Hawk tried to do a high five towards Carlos, but it was a miss and Carlos was struck in the face and it resulted in his major to epic fail.
Carlos is now red in embarrassment, and Tony Hawk looks stern. "Seriously, you held this anger on me and didn't even know the truth of what went down?"
Carlos chuckles nervously. "Wow. I am so sorry, I didn't see this coming."
Tony Hawk sighs. "Look, I am gonna go and celebrate with my team. We can talk about this tomorrow at the College reunion party, Carlos X." He then skates off, and the folks are surprised and slightly ashamed at what Carlos has been doing.
Carlos sees the team is stern at him. "Seriously, Tio Carlos? A miscommunicated revenge ordeal?" asked Ronnie Anne. "Not cool, let's go guys." They all head off, and Gunther carries the unconscious Laird so they can have something to celebrate as well.
Carlos sighs. "Dang it, I need to fix this."
To be continued...
